Brilliant. Lovely bush farm setting. Very spacious sites so it feels like you have the place to yourself, looking out over paddocks and bush. Great amenities, very clean, heaps of hot water. Fantastic for kids. Our kids especially enjoyed the hay bale maze and farm tour. The hosts ate fantastic. Friendly and helpful and clearly love what they do. Highly recommended!
Fantastic accommodation for families. Lovely hosts and facilities. Highly recommended staying here which had all the amenities. Highlight was having the wide open space for the children to safely roam and explore the animals. I don't know why we hadn't considered farm stays earlier. We used this as our getaway and to break up the Adelaide-Melbourne route.
Where do we start!?! Our stay was truly AMAZING. The best place we have ever stayed with our children. Pricing was good, staff were fantastic and the facilities were fabulous. We could sit back relax and let the kids run free, all lawns, grass was cared for and well looked after. Kids were never bored with all the free activities. We are already planning our next trip back to stay. Highly recommended to families.
Could it get any better? We got in late and our hosts went out of their way to settle us in. The kids went wild checking out all the amazing facilities. ..a maze, camels and emus, a playground. Just fabulous!!
We have just had the best weekend with friends at Cockatoo downs at Keith .I would highly recommend taking your family and friends for a great farm stay .The children got to feed the farm animal's while riding the farm bus .Every thing you need from a great fire pit to endless kids active . It's a must .
So many things for kids to do... Maze, farm tour, animals, sand pit, playground and lots lots space. The owners are warm and friendly. Great stay.
Awesome proper farm run by very friendly nice folks who are very helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. There’s heaps for kids to do and see. We love the fire and all the animals.
Very different place to stay. A lot better than a caravan park, wide open spaces with shade if needed. Will definitely be back

Great playground witha roller-coaster for the kids! There is also a great toilet and places to eat and rest. It isn't really near any cafes but they are a 1 min drive away. Plenty of parking around if you have a trailer as well. Also there is a tank near by for some history.
Great spot to stop for families travelling through, room for big rigs as well. Always busy around lunchtime but playground is big and there's a large amount of space to sit for lunch. Drinking station also available for refilling water bottles.
Good little park, the monorail was an excitement to the children. There's plenty of seating under the gazebo and 4 benches scattered about the park. Bbq facilities are available and the toilets are clean and well kept, including a disabled toilet. There is also a wheelchair friendly swing off to the side, I just wish that was closer to the rest of the play equipment. Plenty of recycling and general waste bins available and clearly maintained regularly and a water fountain for those of us who forgot to bring our water bottles.
This lovely park in Keith is the perfect place to stop in between Adelaide and Melbourne. It’s conveniently just over two hours of of Adelaide and has everything you need. The toilets are well cleaned. It has a water refill station. It has play equipment for toddlers and up, all covered with a shade sail. It has a BBQ and plenty of tables with a big rotunda to keep out of the sun. There is also a monorail push ride which kids love. Plenty of parking, right next to a coffee shop. And this park has the softest of grass. All this combines to be one of the nicest parks/playgrounds on the way to Melbourne or on the way back. There is also a wheel chair swing under construction in the park, but it wasn’t operational when I was there.
So cool. The monorail was a huge hit with the kids!
It’s called Pilmore, but not sure why map name is Don Moseley. Has a mini train that is fun to play with
Great little playground with awesome train coaster! Kids had a ball. Even had a tandem adult/toddler swing. Even the big kids had some fun!
Awesome playground. Has innovative monorail, unique dual mum-bub swing and lots of rides. One hour is not enough for this playground. It has bbq, toilets, sheds and war related historical stuffs. On the way Adelaide to Victoria/Mt Gambier a great place to stop and relax.

Great display and proof that landrovers really can go anywhere. Make sure you check out the Andy Caldecott Memorial nearby as well.
Lives up to the name, it's a Landrover on a pole. Worth a quick walk to it if you're in the area, there's a cool CFA mural right behind it painted on the side of the CFA building.
We tried to imagine just how they got the Landrover up onto the pole and figured it must have been a very large crane lending a hand. Very interesting, as was the display of the Furnished Rooms from the 1950's and the fabulous Murals of the Firemen and their Fire Truck, plus, the extra large length of Chain, with each link being 10 to 12 inches long and very heavy. It was originally used to Clear the Land of bushes & small trees so it could be used for agriculture. There is even a plaque explaining it all. Well worth the stop. Hope you get to enjoy it too.
My mum, sister and I went here on our road trip between Melbourne and Adelaide.
Can do a rest stop thete. Not very intresting. Minimalistic explanation on the plaque.
It's exactly as it says. A Landrover on a pole. Plaque at the bottom of the pole tells you the history of this display and the information.
Nice place to stop to let the dog out for a pee
Great spot to stop and rest, great place to let the whole family stretch and has open lawn for pets skate park and pump track for kids 😀 pack a picnic or grab some Bakery.

Turned up about 4pm on a Sunday and had the place to myself. It was a very peaceful 30 minute walk, with just the sound of wrens and the sheep in the far distance. There is a short and very rocky steep climb to the top of Mt Monster which I don't think I would've done without my hiking pole to steady me. A rocky but flatter trail goes along the face of the outcrop through woodland, with fabulous views across the farmlands. There are several large parking bays along the one-way road in the Park where one can pull up and throw down a swag or smallish tent. Camping is free, but there are no toilets and no water available. No open fires are allowed. There are a few picnic tables and benches. Overall a lovely peaceful spot for a picnic and to stretch your legs, and an excellent overnight stop if you're making a long trip.
Six camping spots. Need to be self contained. Best is its free. Lots of birds, a few kangaroos and we saw 1 echidna but lots of evidence of others.
Nice peaceful free camp, no facilities so must be self contained. Good walking trails, flora and fauna.
Relaxing place to camp and connect with nature. Great walking trails. You’ll need to be self contained as there are no facilities.
A quiet place to walk slowly and experience the bird-life and views. We even came across a wallaby at one point, who lolloped away to a safe distance and watched us. The views are 360⁰ at the top, as (at 93m) it's still the highest hill around. It's a gentle place with a good explanatory board. Near the beginning of the walk is a post which should contain several leaflets. We only found one leaflet there, so we returned it at the end of our walk. You can go straight to the summit from the car park (takes ten minutes or less in one direction), or take a circuitous route, taking maybe half an hour to return (but we walked slowly so it took 50 minutes or so). (We did both walks and were there for 1½ hours in total.) The path is well signposted. If it's wet underfoot it could get slippery in places. Take your time with this walk, it's worth it. It's entirely free of charge. When you exit by road, you are in a completely different place to where you started --slightly further towards Keith.
The walk around the peak is great but the real surprise was the quarry lit by the afternoon sun. The satellite picture shows a lot of walks. Unfortunately the reception was not enough to get the satellite image so we missed half the walks. Next time!
Good place to camp along the road to Adelaide. Nice little mountain peak to climb up
Amazing views from a place I've driven past plenty of times but didn't know existed. Glad we stopped in for the quick walk to the top.

Just a small conversation park. Feels like it's not really looked after or cared for. A small walk through it. A nice border walk would add to it and give you a longer walk
