Love it. The movie of the 56 floods was terrific.
Rang the day before (on a Saturday) to have a look, no one was there at the time. Decided to ring the number on the door (photo provided) and left a message, the lady messaged me back (from the visitors centre) and let me know that the volunteer was running late today (the day after I rang). Arrived around 10:15am on Sunday and was thoroughly impressed with the setup, the information provided and what the volunteer provided for us. Would recommend visiting (preferably of a weekday) and having a look. Furthermore, in winter wear a jumper as the south easterly wind can be quite chilly.
Very interesting local history. Where Murray paddle steamers met rail steamers
Nice place to stop for a leg stretch on a long drive.
Lots of history in this building well worth a visit an hour went very quick.
Awesome Museum friendly and helpful staff a must too drop in.

Absolutely loved this amazing place. Some campgrounds are still closed due to flooding. Lots of birds and saw some skippies in the morning. No power, no amenities.
Large Lagoon and second smaller one has no marked paths.Plenty of birdlife
Love camping here. Beautiful place. Sadly lost a couple of sites due to the flooding. Plenty of nice spots left. Photo is from site 4.
Great place to camp with camper trailer caravan or tent pretty quiet most times good price too
A great spot to camp and relax. Take in the atmosphere of the river with the family and friends. 2wd accessible
Morgan is a beautiful country town by the river it has everything you need and more ❤️
Very nice. Stunning scenery.
It is a beautiful place for camping. Some sites have great water access, nice and quiet. Alot if the birds such as kookaburras will actually come up Nd help themselves to food out of your hands.

Excellent, gold coin 🪙 donation for potiable water 💧, helpful staff, plenty of information available, in a lovely river location 👍
Morgan Visitor Information Centre Visited on 2/6/2019 Our convoy of four cars from Melbourne stopped near the river bank not far from the Morgan Visitor Information Centre. The midday sun was very bright and glary. I went into the centre, and there was no one in sight. One room had a big iron spoke wheel and two black-and-white pictures hung on the wall. The other room had some ornaments displayed on the shelves, and some brochures. Next to centre was a large children playground. There was no shade except near the river bank. We sat down on the benches for our lunch, despite under the hot sun. Our lunch was a bit of East-Meets-West, sandwich with Chinese spread.
Loved it, beautifully set on the banks of the river. Lots of history and information
Called in 3.30pm the woman was very off handed. She was wanting to close up and told us that we had until 4pm to get water and that was it. Didnt want me to get into any conversation at all, which doesn't entice you to stay. Funny because there is a flyer up that states that it's an RV friendly town. Well she certainly wasn't!
Love Morgan, great little place good caravan park and helpful staff at the info centre
Such a great fun spot
