Logging is destroying what remains of amazing coastal Gondwana rainforest remnants here and more over on the mid north coast in areas we now know to be very sensitive and home to biologically/geologically highly important events and habitats that need protection from exploitation..also the nsw government has now closed many state forest areas to prevent unwanted observation of uncouth logging activity and destruction of sensitive micro environments . Keep eyes out for buetifull jasper stones, interesting geological oddities like stoney Hill on stoney hill trail a colorful strange peak of once highly altered partly melted slate. (unstudied impact rebound?), re gold thrown to glen reagh/ulong and created the cliff and fault coast side of glenreagh and uplifted the inland side of wedding bells itself)?? Maybe. But Beware of logging trucks and try to ignore the decimated areas currently logged for the "green" biomass power plant in Newcastle, yep burning trees in power plants now thanks forestry NSW corporation 😕 you may also find the highly endangered wedding bell plant currently under intense medical studies for cancer treatment. This place was also a sacred area for the bungalung peoples and middens, camp remnants and tool stones can be found all over ( please do not disturb). Varied geology along Gentle Annie trail will amaze. This place should not be subjected to frivolous logging destruction. Buet swimming holes (watch for poisonous spined freshwater rockfish) please 🙏 Be safe enjoy the trails and protect YOUR forests.
No walking tracks or anything but potholes and dirt roads
Seemed that the forest was designated dog friendly but when we arrived at the park entry the sign clearly showed no dogs allowed. It looked like a beautiful forest area despite the motorcross bikes ripping about.
Nothing to see. No road signs no directions. After 15 mins a forest closed sign and nowhere to turn .
Excellent place to see
Pretty good mtb tracks
Fun day riding! Shuttles would be good:)

Fun challenging course with lots of wildlife ... very wet end of May ... drying out in August ... and early Oct recovering from recent rain. Best condition today Dec2022 ... best in the past year. Apr23 update ... course best it has ever been
Just purchased my new set of clubs from here. Fitted for me. Terry at the pro shop was great to deal with.
Beautiful scenic golf course challenging holes, plenty of kangaroo's very friendly staff as well a great relaxing bar with also very friendly and welcoming staff highly recommend.
Testing greens and kangaroo spectators - alot of fun and surprisingly dry in heavy wet
Very friendly and well priced. Golf was good but very wet .
Great course cheap rate to play ALL DAY GOLF.
Played while holidaying on Coffs Coast. Nice course with varying levels of difficulty. A fun day of golfing for serious as well as fun golfers. The course is pretty with a lot of friendly kangaroos, curious joey's and native birds. The pro shop staff and local golfers are very friendly. Surely would play here again when we are back this side.
The golf course is pretty challenging and well maintained. The locals are very friendly. The drinks selection is very basic and the food practically non-existent except when the bbq is cooking, which I usually miss. The pro shop is very good too. Good prices though.

I want to express my gratitude to the kind lady that helping me to register library member and inform me about activity for my toddler during school holiday yesterday.(30/1/25 )She was so helpful and nice too. And another one lady who help me on last wednesday too. (22/1/25.) she help me and my friends to scan our document and she even inform me they got colouring paper for my toddler too. My bad i forgot to ask their name/ You both know who you are . You guys are so lovely 🫶🏼
excellent experience. Old, library novice who required an overview of the facility and services and needed to urgently scan a very large document. staff were amazing- helpful and patient. saved me having to embark upon a stressful and expensive quest for a similar result in the commercial world. thanks woopi library!!
My experience in accessing the library computer and wifi last Friday was brilliant. I needed to join a Zoom meeting and all staff were very obliging and generous with their time. As I was there early for the meeting I was able to observe other staff/client interactions while I waited, and the staff were not only helpful but encouraged users in gaining skills by walking them through what the clients were trying to do. Just love our libraries.
Great really helpful and enthusiastic ladies greeted us and then took us to the age appropriate area we were after .We were then told how they categorized the different types of genres with small stickers which saves so much time and leads you directly to the topic of your interest a very good system indeed. The library it's self was very neat clean and tidy. The library and the group of people who run it are a real asset to our local community we'll done and much appreciated thank you 🙂
Librarian lady (long haired) was kind of a b*tch. She appeared to be soft spoken, calm but impatient and mean at times. One of the regulars, a Japanese backpacker who works at Costa Berries heard the lady gossiping with a co-librarian complaining about foreign youngsters at the library enjoying the nice sofa, free wifi while they're just there to kill time after farmwork. I don't understand people who choose to work in public services but hates serving people. Since it is a public / civic space, you'd be expecting all kinds of people wouldn't you? To those French youth making loud noises, parked after hours for wifi outside the library, though inappropriate, they should still be allowed to use the space. Minor offences don't count as life threatening situation. Another backpacker saw me unhappy outside getting my dog leashed, said her friend had the same unpleasant experience when she was told not to sit comfortably on the "newly bought" sofa which the lady claimed would get dirty or dusty by filthy feets touching it, that's discrimination. Her rules are ridiculous! I'm Sydney born, been here few times to visit my grandmother, as far as I know, no one has ever caused any problems, yet her weird unwelcoming behavior visitors being treated badly (mainly backpackers) continued. She imposed her own unreasonable strict rules at the library that offended visitors (basically if she finds you behaving against her standards, she would harrass you!). Earlier, she ordered me to move my dog from the pole just outside the entrance, whilst it was sitting there quietly didn't make a sound! Since she made a big deal out of it, I left earlier than planned. This has never happened in big cities where bossy people are expected to be rude, but never, instead, I was harrassed by a sociopath librarian in a small town library with less than 20 visitors a day. The other Librarian lady with short dark hair on a different shift was a lot nicer & polite. Would not recommend this library to backpackers, if you do visit here often, expect to be treated or emotionally abused on that one unlucky day. The Coffs Harbour library is only 25kms away, has heaps of space to chill & closes at 6pm! Woolgoolga Council Members, take note of this negative feedback! Thank you. Cheers Vincent
Mostly have a good experience but today wasn’t great. Needs an update to service the community properly. Has a kids section but librarian was a bit curt to my children. Maybe a nicer approach with the children would be appreciated.
Beautiful staff a nice well appointed library. Good wifi , meeting room printers and photocopies
I find this library is well set up. It has an easy access internet service, relaxing atmosphere & good toilets.
