It is probably the most challenging of the accessible caves in the area. It is also the deepest cave at 85m underground, it's a self guided tour the the 585m long cave, you have to wear a hard hat and lamp as you will be climbing through some small space. You need a pretty reasonable level of fitness for this one. I highly recommend it, though, as it's a very different experience to the other caves. It's a lot less crowded as not as many people visit.
Giants Cave is an amazing adventure! The cave is not lit, but helmets with headlamps are included in the entry fee (we got 3 plus a spare torch). The cave takes you deep underground with ladders, steps, and climbs, before exiting on the other side. The return is a pleasant bushwalk, crossing Caves Road once. It felt very genuine and adventurous, and our 8-year-old loved every minute. A fun, active hour exploring – highly recommended!
Very cool self led tour of the cave. They provide a helmet with a headlight along with a spare torch. There are some very narrow sections, small ladders and times where you have to climb up parts of the cave so requires a bit of fitness and mobility but overall great experience!
I’ve seen a couple of these caves and this one takes the win. So epic - non guided so you get to explore the many chambers on your own with your own head torch - some super dung climbing segments but nothing too gnarly! So much fun, strongly recommend
Self guided adventure into this cave. This cave is not for the unfit. Several section where you climb uphill with aid of a rope and one section aprox 10/14 metres down a slope using a rope to assist. Aprox 60/80 min to walk this cave. Was lots of fun. You’re given a helmet ( a few low points) and one of the group is give a spare hand held touch as backup. Stunning to turn your lights off and just absorb the silence in several sections. This cave felt safe to walk, it just isn’t suited for people with restricted mobility. You need to be able to scramble over and up boulders. Not the place for backpacks due to the narrow section. Remember to pee before you go. Live life and enjoy the adventure. Not as many stalagmites and tights as nearby caves but still very pretty.
A someone scared of ladders, it definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. But I was so glad I did it. We arrived at opening time on Sunday and we had the cave to ourselves
So. Much. Fun! We had an amazing time!! Better than all the caves where you enter with a group tour... you grab your helmet w light and, although sticking to a path, feel like you're on an adventure! Highly, highly recommend, as long as you have reasonable fitness. Not somewhere I'd take my elderly mum.. but feel like most people would he able to manage it. Again, so much fun!!! 👌❤️
Simply an awesome experience! It's totally different from a guided cave tour, which we took the day before for Lake Cave. It's self directed and you can take your time to slowly explore the cave with your helmet torch and an emergency torchlight as backup. The inside is definitely no where near as impressive as Lake Cave. There are climbing up vertical ladder steps and over rock boulders using metal chain so not recommended for elderly and young children. A reasonable level of fitness is required but for those adventurous people, IMO, it's worth the time and money. Lastly, we had the whole place to ourselves throughout the whole exploration. :)

Arlewood had been recommended by people who had stayed at the AirBnB we had the weekend at. Not knowing that they open two days a week, we rocked up on the way to lunch at Glenarty Road. We are so glad we did. Such a warm welcome. And some very good wines. It was great to chat about Italy, and La Bratta. We will definitely be back.
Out of all the wineries we’ve been too in Margaret River this one was by far the best! It’s a wonderful family run vineyard with unique, smooth and delicious wines. 2 wines were amazingly paired with chocolates from temper temper and it was unbelievably well suited. Who knew?! We’ve become members here and we cannot wait to have these family wines become highlights of our dinner parties and celebrations throughout the year and in years to come.
A big thank you to Paris and the team who made our wine tasting earlier this month an absolute treat! We sat outside by the fire admiring their beautiful property, our doggo loved saying hello to the horses and exploring, oh, and the wines were delightful too 😋 Thanks again Paris! We will be back 😊
Amazing wine, loved everyone on the tasting list and signed up for the yearly delivery. 2nd time at Arlewood, never disappoints highly recommend!!
We just had the most amazing experience at Arlewood. Our wine tasting with Paris was relaxed and informative, there wasn’t a wine that we didn’t like and the attention to detail in the cellar door didn’t go unnoticed (best wine glasses in the region!). Single vineyard wines at very reasonable prices - Highly recommend!
Not recommended. Ridiculous staff. Need to dress like fancy😂 We went this place after beach late lunch time. We had a plan to make a BBQ for dinner so wanna testing and buy some nice wine. That’s we went there actually looks nice and small vineyard really cozy place. However the staff was ridiculous. We were asked that do you have a food menu then the girl recommended to go to The berry farm which is cafe. And also she said that Margaret river town there is pub we can have a wine and food. We went there for wine not only food but they treated us like come for free wine😂 Was so rude. We went other place had a good lunch and got a nice wine. There is plenty of winery in Margaret river. Don’t ruin your travel vibe to go.
This gorgeous little place was a recommendation from a local - we loved the wine and chocolate pairing for something different on our wine trail, and the very Italian style wines were fun to try. The lovely host, Paris, even dropped off wine we'd purchased from them to our air bnb in town when one of our group forgot it. A great family run winery worth visiting!
Had our first cellar door tasting experience with Paris today and it was amazing. After falling in love with European wines over the past few years whilst living between Portugal and the uk we thought Arlewood sounded like the best fit to our tastes. It really didn't disappoint, we went on a Friday and were blessed with a one on one session with Paris. The wine and chocolate pairing was divine. 5 stars easily earnt it was a great day can't recommend highly enough.

A unique place to see tall trees and dense forrest The best season would be the mid winter, when everywhere is green. A lot of wild flowers Safety note: watch out for cars when you cross the road...
Secret national park with beautiful stands of forest to explore, good vehicle height clearance required, observation only, no camping, no walk trails
Awesome cave here and beautiful Boronup Forest
