Nice location right on the beach front. Lots for the kids to do in a large play ground with surrounding community cooking areas which also has a under cover area and toilets near by. Plenty of parking.
Angus Neill Reserve is a nice open park with plenty of space to chill out or have a picnic. The playground is good for kids, and there are BBQs and shaded areas to use. Right across from the beach so you get a great view while you’re there. Perfect spot for a relaxed afternoon.
Lovely Reserve. Beautifully maintained. Very accessibly friendly with the pathways, toilet access and no step to the disabled park. **It's seaside - no barrier between there and the beach, so be careful of getting wind burn on the elderly and kids - they are better off in something light, but long sleeved and collared** Definitely pack the sunscreen and hat, there's a lot of space that's not undercover. Children's play area has water play - pack a change of clothes. Plenty of space even when it's busy to pack a footy, cricket, Frisbee or grip ball. Toilets 🚻 are the new style automatic 10min toilets with music 🎶 so if you have "that" toddler that goes 100 times then a few more, be prepared for that game 😆 There are only 2 Gazebos so it's a 6:30am trip to get there to reserve and snag a Gazebo. Take your own Gazebo if going later in the day. Actually quite an impressive amount of parking, although the carparks are quite tight for bigger vehicles, but there's plenty of road parking too.
We love this park for so many reasons! So much space for fun filled activities and family gatherings of all sizes. Plenty of undercover area and bbq space! Highly recommend checking this park out next time the sun is out! It is well maintained from the local Holdfast Bay Council workers as well who are super friendly! We may be a little biased though as this is our office where we also hold 3 sessions each week. Our 9.15am Wednesday, 9.15am Friday and 8am Saturday classes would agree that it's the best place to be to enjoy the great outdoors with great laughs and get fit at the same time!
An amazing park alongside Brighton beach. Great place for a picnic with your whole family, a romantic evening with your partner or to have an amazing time playing catch your doggo. Has a small public barbeque which you can make use of. Come over here to get a piece of beach and a park. You can either sit, relax and watch the sun dips into the sea or take a casual stroll with a slight beeze that will send a chill through your body. So to sum it up a great place to come with anyone and have a good time altogether.
Great little park. Wasn't overly busy. Some toys already in the sand pit for extra fun for little ones.
A lovely park that is located adjacent of the Brighton beach. Very popular amongst the local. The park has a playground for kids, lawn, BBQ facilities, toilets, adequate shades and sheltered areas. A fantastic picnic location for family and friends. There are also two cafés within walking distance where you can get nice coffees and ice cream. Parking can be hard on the weekends and public holidays. Highly recommend for all to visit.
Good play area for children under the age of 10, water pump in the kids sand pit hasn't worked since the first day we visited over a month ago but apart from that it's good, plenty of picnic areas and great toilet facilities.
