Really difficult steep road, no passing vehicles in top area very narrow one lane road. Definitely for 4 wheel drive vehicles. View is spectacular, no amenities at all. Great experience.
4wd access but an easy climb... sadly partly closed...and then old stone hut is gone as is the plaques on the marker... but awesome views
The drive up was difficult, definitely 4WD or AWD, but the view and just the alpine landscape were both amazing. Definitely worth it.
Can get a bit windy but the view is 360 and you can see the ocean on clear days and the aurora on clear nights. Dirt road all the way but nothing a good 2wd can't handle.
Went up the Mount Barrow discovery trail. The road was good and the scenery is spectacular. Don't miss this easy access area.
Amazing view, narrow steep road and bends. Close resemblance to Jacob’s ladder..
Beautiful drive. When its snowing, do NOT attempt if you're in a 2wd.
An overlooked destination for Adventure riders. Not recommended for road bikes. Not far from the more famous Jacobs ladder on Ben lomond. This road is a more techincal single lane adventure. Tight elevating switch back turns and plenty of them. Both rides can easily be done in a day with a good dirt road linking the 2. An easy 39 min sealed ride from Launceston.
