We had a truly wonderful experience at the Royal Golf Club yesterday. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome, professional service, and the relaxing atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring everything went smoothly and making us feel comfortable throughout our visit. The facilities are world-class, very well maintained, and the environment is both elegant and peaceful. The course and surrounding views are absolutely stunning, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable day. The dining experience was also exceptional, with delicious food and excellent service that added to the overall enjoyment. It was a day filled with relaxation, great company, and outstanding hospitality. A big thank you to the entire team for making our visit so special — we are already looking forward to coming back soon!
Great grass golf course. Generally very clean. Course is challenging for a beginner like me but we love it. Majority of the staff is kind, helpful, and respectful. Definitely need a membership for those living in Saudi that can only visit once a month 😆
RGC is all about Golf and Golfing. Located on the outskirts of the desert. Well maintained. You can learn Golf by pre booking training sessions. This place is also a host to many other International and local events. Recently, The Bahrain Royal Concourse was held there, for exotic car shows. Membership is bit on the higher end.
It’s beautiful place to hangout and have fun with family and friends every moments, the place is good nice and clean people are always nice and service and support every guest and members, I like this place so far, good community ,good service ,good food, good memories 👍🥰
Love this place! One of the only gold clubs in Bahrain. Good service and enjoyable atmosphere. 7 BD to rent 100 balls for the driving range and free club rental. Several restaurants here.
Absolutely fantastic experience at the Royal Golf Club! The facilities are world-class. From the perfectly maintained course to the cozy clubhouse, practice areas and professional and friendly instructors. A special shoutout to Fahad Al Hakam, one of the best instructors I’ve ever met. His knowledge, patience, and personalised coaching style really helped improve my game. Highly recommend for golfers of all levels!
Very nice course with good service and food.
This has been by far the worst golf club experience I’ve ever had. I was a regular for almost two years, and instead of improving, the service kept getting worse. The staff are rude, unprofessional, and have zero respect for their customers. The rules change almost every single day depending on their mood. There are no clear policies, just random decisions that make no sense. I’ve personally faced multiple unethical and unprofessional situations — every person gives a different answer, and nobody takes responsibility. The final straw was when I bought an item and tried to return it immediately, only to be refused my money back. On top of that, they ruined the Core Golf service by changing it from unlimited to limited, added extra charges, and now even control how you get golf balls. If you borrow a ball from someone, they threaten to punish that person — absolutely ridiculous. The behavior here is beyond disrespectful and unethical. I will never come back, and I strongly warn others to think twice before wasting their time and money at this place. This place should be avoided at all costs.

Available good brands of restaurants and cafes. Areas of Improvement: Small. Limited number of brands of textiles and jewelries.

This mall has some good perfumes, you can find some Play store shops and some Toys shops with low prices .
I had a blast exploring the kids' corner at the mall today! 🤩 The play area is so fun and colorful, perfect for little ones to burn some energy. I loved watching the kids' faces light up with joy as they climbed and slid. There's even a designated toddler area for the younger crowd. 🧸 It's such a nice amenity for families, making a shopping trip much more enjoyable. I'll definitely be back again soon! #MallFun #KidsCorner #Playtime

This is the best place to get bahrain view from the top of mountain. Fort is located in the top of Riffa mountain. One of the major archaeological site located in Bahrain.
One of the few forts in Bahrain worth visiting. The fort spans over two floors, and the stairs are pretty good to climb. The fort has a rich smell of history to it. While being well-maintained, the fort can get some touches here and there to make it more appealing to visitors; mainly by placing items from the life of the Royal Family. Also, having a museum within it is an idea worth exploring by the authorities in-charge. Very close to the fort is the Bahrain Military Museum (a few 100 meters walk). Accessing the fort is free. Expect to spend no more than 30 minutes here.
As at 15 Nov its closed for around 2 months for internal rennovations. Disappointing. No info just closed. Id made a trip to see the fort but could only enjoy the external aspects. The coffee shop and viewing platform at the rear is still open and accessable independantly. Theres no entry fee. Its worth a visit to enjoy a sunset. I look forwards to being able to see inside. Great to see at night too. Its really well illuminated.
A great preserved historical fort, built on a hill to defend against enemies. It is also called Riffa fort and was built in 1812. A great place to glimpse life at that time. There was a coffee shop inside. A glass exhibition centre was under construction when I visited in January. A well-maintained toilet was available inside. Security guards were around to let you feel secure. A highly recommend place to visit while in Bahrain.
1 of the Historical place to visit in Bahrain. Located in the middle of Bahrain and easy access with view from high area is great. Its near to Military museum in Riffa neighbourhood. Only i did not found any details about this fort there / any explaination except 1 cannon with details beside the mosque
Another nice Bahrain Fort that should be visited. Built on hill top to defend from enemies, the fort is now part of the riched Bahrain culture. Exhibition center with glass wall is a true example on how you mix modern and old architecture. Restaurant with terrace is part of the global offer.
The fort of the Shiekh and former Ruler of Kingdom of Bahrain is a historical landmark. It is a reminder of the Kingdoms glorious past and it is very well maintained with a museum. It is worth visiting and there is Bahrain Military museum nearby.
A little piece of history over looking the valley. Suggest to include more info on it's origin, purpose etc. Very well preserved. There is also a restaurant that operates within the Fort. Has a good sunset view point. Can explore inside the Fort. A good place for a visit.

If you’re in the area, I think the Dilmun Burial Mounds are worth a visit. These ancient mounds give a fascinating look into Bahrain’s history and are interesting to explore, even if you’re just passing through. The best part is that there’s no entry fee, you can visit anytime you want. Instead of a traditional information board, they have a QR code you can scan with your phone to learn more about the site and its significance. It’s a handy way to get some background without needing a guide. When you arrive, take some time to walk around and enjoy the scenery. The mounds are quite striking, and it’s incredible to think about the people who once used this site. The area is peaceful, making it a nice spot to relax or reflect on the history around you. If you enjoy taking photos, you’ll find plenty of great views to capture. Whether you’re into history or just want to spend some time outdoors, the Dilmun Burial Mounds offer a quiet and meaningful experience. Overall, it’s a nice stop if you’re nearby, and I think you’ll appreciate the chance to connect with Bahrain’s past.
This site is a bit of a waste of time - only come here if you happen to be walking past. There is currently construction along the road, which makes it difficult to access.
This place is quite simply a field with several burial mounts. Two big ones and some smaller. But they are all part of a bigger picture. One needs to know the Dilmon history and add that to the picture. Somewhere else there is a field with 10.000 or more mounds. There is a small information board at the entrance. The National Museum and the internet will tell you the rest.
UNESCO site, worth a short stop but not much to see
Stop your car for ten minutes and wander around these ancient structures. You definitely have a pleasantly haunted feeling as you are transported 4,000 into the past.
History of the how ancient civilizations buried their dead. I recommend those who have a chance to visit and view this amazing spectacle.
Has archeological significance though not much visually appealing.

This is not maternity museum. It is military museum. This would be good to visit as first thing. Get some knowledge about the forts in Bahrain and accordingly based on personal liking make a plan which to visit, or if all in which order. Very welcoming staff and nice ambient
A good place to know the historical background of the Kingdom. Not only for foreigners but also for Bahrainis so that we all know the roots.. mabrook
The best place to visit to know more about military history of Bahrain, museam is very well arranged with different kinds and types of weapons, military grades medals as per the rankings and many more.
Excellent to know the history of Bahrain don’t forget to add it to your plan then visite Riffa fort
Very interesting. Lots to learn about Bahrain and the museum is beautiful.
Well organized and maintained. Very few people knows this place
Absolutely must visit museum - the entrance is free and you can easily spend half of the day there on the 2 floors. The personnel are nice and helpful. It's a big pity (well especially for you, reader) that its forbidden to take photos inside 😁
There are very good place to spend some time
