This was such a cute zoo!! 10/10 for sure. The animals looked happy and you could even see some trainers feeding and helping the animals throughout their space. Overall my family and I had a great time. My daughter in specific wanted to visit a zoo for some time now and she was very happy how the animals looked well kept. We also got to learn about skunks and it was very informative per one of the trainers.Cant wait to visit again and bring my older daughter to experience this zoo herself !See you next time!!!
This is a wonderful place to visit, regardless of whether you live in Big Bear or just here for a visit. And if you have children, they will love the experience. According to what we read online, this zoo is one of two Alpine zoos in the United States, which provide a refuge for wild animals that cannot be released back into the wild for a variety of reasons as well as specializing in the rehabilitation and release of local Alpine species. They also offer educational training programs, special events and exhibits concerning their mission. There are restrooms onsite along with a gift shop and free parking. Just beware that the zoo does not open until 1000 hours, and in the warmer months, you might not be able to see many of the 190+ animals they have since it is sometimes getting too hot during the day. We will try again this fall when the weather is cooler. We did, however, get to see a wonderful bear education demonstration with one of the trainers and Eleanor, what an informative speech by the trainer. We even witness just how fast a bear can move, which was an eye opener for all of us present. We highly recommend this zoo for people of all ages and appreciate all the staff in their efforts to care for these animals and educate the public.
Visited the zoo for the first time and LOVED it! We spent about 2 hours at the zoo, casually walking around to learn & observe the animals. The bears, especially the grizzly, were the best! Caught most of the presentation on the skunks which was super interesting. The little skunks were fun to watch scurrying around for the meal worms while the docent shared a wealth of info. At the end, we decided to become annual members so we could visit the zoo & Big Bear more often. The cost of 2 adult tickets was $34 ($17 each), but you can buy a couples pass for the year for just $90. Looking forward to our next visit!
We visited on a Friday afternoon. Upon a recommendation by a local cashier, we visited around feeding time (2pm-ish). Although it is a small zoo with only locally indigenous creatures, every animal was out and visible, some moving about, some lounging. Gift shop prices were reasonable, compared with other gift shops. The premises were clean and festively decorated for the holidays. Also there is a $1 discount ea. for a group of 10 or more.
Not a huge zoo but perfect for a quick outing with little ones. Plenty of room to look at the animals. We never felt crowded. Everything seem well maintained and the zoo grounds were clean. Plenty of parking. Clean restrooms.
This little zoo is very sweet, a fun little outing with the kids. My only suggestion is to go early in the morning when it’s cooler and when the animals are awake. We made the mistake of going in the heat of the day and many of the animals had found their shady spots, I don’t blame them! Definitely worth a visit!
Not disappointed at all! All of the animals were well taken care of. Even in the summer they had misters, fresh water and shade for all animals. Everyone looked well fed and happy and thats what I look for in a zoo! I understand that all animals were rescues which I love. 10/10 Zoo better for kiddos.
Very small zoo, $17 for adult but probably perfect for little kids cuz they have a cool playground in between. Hard to see some of the animals through the wire cages. And a few were deep so you couldn't see them at all from walkway

Ever since the park was upgraded it definitely became better. It also costs a lot more than it used to for a lift ticket but the amenities are better as well. I've been snowboarding here for decades at this point and recently started mountain biking. Overall the park is great. The staff are also good, maybe a little grouchy or standoffish at times but not enough to write home about. Overall a great place for all seasons and will be back.
Went up the "scenic sky chair" lift as a summer activity while on vacation. If you are on vacation and looking for another activity to do with the kids. I paid $86.00 for three adults and a 12 year old to take the lift to the top. We were hoping to do some hiking but there were only two trails available and they are not shaded so we didn't do much. There is a restaurant at the top and food options but it is also a great place to just bring a picnic and enjoy the views. During the summer it is a huge mountain bike area and almost all of the people going up where bringing their bikes. The basic ticket only allows for one round trip. I wish it was unlimited as the views coming down are awesome.
Everything was a great experience! Parking guides got us in a space quickly. Getting our tickets and bikes on the lift was a breeze. Awesome variety of trails to ride on well marked trails. The good is reasonably priced for being at a resort and better than most places I've experienced. I'm already looking forward to my next trip here
We had a great time at Above the Boom! It does get a little chilly. So, as they recommend, dress in layers. Also, even though it said no food and drink. A bottle of water and maybe some kids snacks seemed acceptable. They were not overly strict. We supported them purchasing our tickets, and additional beverages including water.
We always come here whenever we visit Big Bear. The resort offers year-round outdoor activities. The things you do here are unlimited, from skiing and snowboarding in the winter, to mountain biking and hiking the rest of the year. There are several different dining options from fast-food to more upscale bars and restaurants (opening times vary with the seasons). One of the activities we like to do in the spring and fall is taking the chairlift to the summit and enjoying the view while eating lunch. There is plenty of parking along with a multitude of stores, ski/snowboard rentals, a child amusement center and plenty of trails for biking and hiking.
Terrible experience. Came here from Vegas for my son‘s birthday. Got a rental bike and immediately first run down the brakes are already worn down and just super loud. I took a relatively easy way down and when I got to the bottom I noticed one of my spokes had come out. My chain also came off but I didn’t notice it until my second ride down. So I’m just trying to get down the mountain at this point cuz I can’t pedal and then I get down and they tell me the derailer needs to be replaced and I can pay $110 to get my bike back. And I’m like all of this happened on one ride down and now I have to pay $110 after already having paid $200 for the day. I fought it so hard, spoke to every person there that I could about getting my bike back or at that point just getting a refund and leaving, no leniency whatsoever. The bike rental experience there was absolutely miserable, the bike i was given was terrible. Do not rent from this place. Also, my son’s ride card was deactivated at one point and we had to go back to the ticket booth to get a new one. last so much time just trying to get going. If I could give negative stars I would. Spent all this money to come up here just for the bike to break down after one green run.
The bike repair shop did a great service for my bike! Joshua found the problem, repaired it, and explained how it should be shifting. Took it for a test ride and shifting was perfect! At a fair price!!! Thanks guys!
Great bike park, shredded all day. I just wanted to mention Nancy, the food handler because she was rude and mean. Great learning experience. I brought the kids and they loved it, blue trails were so easy and fun. Good jumps flowy and food was good, but Nancy wasnt.

The staff really makes this place extra special. Everyone is so NICE!! They have a first aid station too in case you wreck on the toboggan, that slide burn is real! They have a small arcade of games inside, very old school pricing for the games too just 50 cents a game. It was nearly $16 for two burgers but DANG if they weren't worth every bite. The mini golf is really challenging and fun, there is a part where if you lose your ball in the water it drops to the next place below it instead of floating to the pond. Would absolutely come back 10/10 times! Only $2 a ride at the waterslide too.
We had a great time! Super affordable for the whole family. We did everything besides the mini golf and go carts. Took us about 4hrs and the kids rode multiple times. The views from all the rides is incredible. It wasn't to busy as we went on a Monday but the lines went super fast if any at all. It did start to pick up when we were leaving around 2pm. The arcade is old school w games for 50cents. Also, we took my golden retriever who loved just chilling in the grass watching. everyone lol. They were very accommodating filling our water for her anytime. Definitely a must go. Thank you for an amazing time.
Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain is a terrific family-friendly attraction that delivers plenty of fun in just a few hours. I visited with my wife and two children, and we all had a fantastic time. The alpine slide was the highlight. We rode it twice, and it was just as exciting the second time. The track offers a great mix of speed and control, making it safe for kids but still a thrill for adults. Our children absolutely loved it. We also enjoyed the Mine Shaft Coaster, a mountain roller coaster that twists through the hillside with surprising speed. It was so much fun we had to ride it twice as well. To wrap up our visit, we finished with the go-karts, which made for the perfect ending. The track is well maintained, and the karts ran smoothly, creating a great experience for all ages. The cost is on the higher side, but the value is absolutely there. Between the alpine slide, the Mine Shaft Coaster, and the go-karts, this spot is well worth a stop when in Big Bear
Fun spot for the family to stop and play. The slides all have breaks so it’s nice you have some control over the speed. I’d definitely come back again with the family.
This place absolutely nailed it. We kicked off with the Mineshaft Coaster, then cruised over to the go-karts, splashed around on the water slides, and ended up back on the coaster for another round. This small but awesome amusement park nestled in the mountains is amazing. What makes it stand out is how well everything flows—scenic chairlift rides, fast downhill coaster control, hairpin turns, tunnels, corkscrews, and adrenaline-fueled fun at your fingertips . The water slides were a refreshing bonus, and the go-karts gave us that racing kick. Great for both families and thrill-seekers alike. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the day effortless and fun. 🎡 Final Thoughts Small in size, big in fun. It hits the mark if you’re looking for a chill half-day of mixed rides with mountain views and a splash. Definitely worth the trip! My only gripe would be certain rides you pay for at the snack shop and the Coaster you pay for at the Coaster.
A lot of fun, the rides are individually priced per ride. Select which ones you want to experience and pay separately. The mine shaft coaster and the alpine slide are awesome fun! Snacks bar, plenty of parking, restrooms.
Little pricey but It’s good for family and kids . If you’re visiting here first go visit alpine big bear zoo then visit this place till then it will b less crowded and fun🤩 beautiful views 😍definitely going to visit in snow season. Star is very good and helpful .thank you
It is worth paying $$ to this attraction! My husband didn't expect it to be this fast and exciting but ended up having fun even more than me ;)

The center is located on the north side of Rim of the World Byway (Route 38) on the north side of the Big Bear Lake. Hours of operation vary, and they are only open from 0900 – 1600 hours daily and closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The center is the lynch pin for a variety of activities and educational programs centering around the local environment and history of the area. Inside you will find interactive and interpretive displays, hands-on activities and daily guided tours (usually two a day). There is a gift shop, information desk, picnic tables, restrooms and conference room inside the main building. Outside you can take in a free guided tour along a short natural trail, which is very easy and informative. There is a amphitheater, which is used to host the Music in the Mountains concert series and an interesting children’s nature discovery zone. There is plenty of parking available including RV parking. Finally, this is a fee-based parking lot, so do not forget to display a valid recreation pass anytime you park your vehicle.
Was here n July because daughter attended nature program. The visitor center was closed-that is not staffed so best to call. Parking was excellent and area well maintained. Good hiking trails accessible from here.
This is such a great stop for everything if you just want to explore. Bonus points if you bring kiddos with you! We spent about 2 hours here and honestly? We had a blast. There’s trails everywhere, the center is full of animals and my daughter was so happy to see the same animals we see everyday here in big bear! We’re definitely coming back; Mainly because my daughter named the big grizzly “GooGoo”. So I guess it’s see ya soon GooGoo!
This is a must spot to visit and shop for souvenirs to help the lark. They offer free natural walk tours they also have a small museum. Be sure to take advantage of the tours the guides are knowledgeable, nice and informative. Learned so much! I also got to add a stamp on my National Park Passport. It’s not a national park but it’s a nice add to the collection
Great place to stop in and explore. Clean restrooms, gift shop, learning/information areas and trails. Definitely worth your time to visit!
Fantastic resource. The kids spent a long time exploring the center, and looking at the taxidermy animals. The playground was also a huge hit. Using natural elements to create a play area was a really nice addition.
Big Bear Educational. Here, we have stuffed animals, scat droppings, and history timeline books and pictures of Big Bear and its forest. A little fun and education for the family. Inside is small, but there's is a gift shop with shirts, stuffed animals, mini figurines, and many other Big Bear memorabilia. On the other side of the parking lot, there's also a trail to take for beginners. For a feel of nature and to get that energy out of those kids, haha. A bike ride is also welcome along the trail. Plenty to keep the family busy
Friendly staff gift shop very well organized and lots of nice things you can buy to remember your trip to big bear

Tried this hike out recently really loved it went early around 8 AM. It was the perfect time to go not overly crowded. I will say that parking is a little difficult to find in the area and the trailhead can be a little bit hard to see as well from the street, but once you find it, it’s a clear path out beautiful views at the top And lots of snow still up at the top when I went two weeks ago, definitely recommend it make sure to grab a hiking stick at the base of the trail. There’s usually a stock of them and just put it back when you leave.
We went on Tuesday afternoon, very happy that we found parking as we drove by on Sunday and there’s no parking. Very nice view up top, but trail route wasn’t very clear, I think we could go higher? Be careful when coming down, as there’s some frost could be slippery. We couldn’t find any sign up there and kind bushwhacking a bit to get back on trails. We went the end of Oct. I’ve seen a dog, so dog friendly? Saw 5-6 deer. I was told this trail has the best view of the lake.
Parking is along the road and it there is not a lot so go early. Cars also drive fairly fast around the sharp turns so be careful. The hike is straight up so be prepared and take a lot of water. The views make it all worth it. Bring some snacks and find a cool place in the shade where the big boulders begin and enjoy the spectacular views. You do not have to hike the entire trail to get awesome views.
The new parking lot and restrooms make it soooooo much better than having to play frogger across the highway! This trail is pretty steep, so it may not be a good fit for all ages.
Excellent trail. A shorter hike to do on a day trip to Big Bear. Beautiful. It’s a more popular hike due to it being shorter but you don’t feel like there are too many people. It’s straight up big incline for the main part of the trail until you get to castle rock itself, very easy to go off trail and get lost but as long as you keep an eye out for the cairns you will be fine. Lots of paths that look like trail that go off but lead nowhere so be cautious. Otherwise a pretty decent easy to easy moderate hike. You get the Big Bear experience for sure on this hike but short enough to still roam the town before and after. Very limited parking so if nothing available just come back in a bit until someone leaves. You will leave this trail satisfied no matter skill level.
Loved this hike! Probably the most scenic hike for being a moderate skill level hike. Just lovely
It was a very short trail if you're coming from the main road and a decent amount of parking space. I hiked in mid May, so the weather was perfect for me. The trail was a little steep with an elevation of about 1,300 feet I think. The trail leading to castle rock had plenty of signs and trail markings and it was really helpful. There's a lot of flowing water (creeks) all around and with the birds chirping, it was really peaceful. But when you reach the top of castle rock, that's where the beauty nature at its best. The views are breathtaking and so worth the trip!
Likely one of best trails in the Big Bear Lake area - there's nothing truly spectacular and the actual trail length is negligible but it provides a solid workout (incline) and great views! Parking is scarce so be prepared - I was lucky to get a spot on a normal Thursday morning on the curby road. The start of the trail takes you past some lush vegetation near small pools. It is a steady incline past mighty boulders and up natural steps. At the top you are rewarded with wonderful views of the lake and mountains, but it can be easy to lose the trail up at the top.

Very neat little place. Had an interactive map of the area on the inside as well as staff who were super friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed.
Stopped by to get some info for hikes in the area, the ladies helped us out and gave us all the info we needed to have a great stay in big bear lake. Also picked up some great big bear merch!! Definitely worth a stop if you are visiting.
Awesome place to get info in town. The moment we walked in a woman was offering to be of assistance. Two ladies were giving information over the phone at the front desk and a man assisted us while we were looking at the pamphlets. Very helpful since some of the things we were planning were not available that day like the trolley and the Museum.
Very nice and friendly people. They have a guided hike available and clean restrooms. The only reason I held back a Star is because side there was no information on FOBBL or Jackie and Shadow.
I totally enjoy it We like it a lot To many little stores I purchase a scorpion 🦂 and a cristal ball All the store the workers very friendly And happy I feel really good about it Everyone who like to come will love it 🌹🌸🌸
Very friendly staff. They had a free photo op booth that was kinda fun

Such a gem in the heart of Big Bear Village! The laid back fun vibe of Big Bear carries over into this love music venue. Bands from all over, many from LA, come here to party! There’s something going on nearly every evening. They have a food memo available in addition to a full bar. It seems like most shows are all ages so kids are allowed. Your ticket buys you waiter a chair or a space on the floor to dance in front of the stage. The staff is super friendly and it’s just a fun place to be!
Awesome place Colbie Nicole and Duckie were so helpful and friendly. Great Atmosphere. Also Ben the manager was totally awesome courteous and made us feel very welcome in Big Bear and at the Cave, would definitely come back, especially when Ace Frehley returns. Thank you for a great experience.
One of the best venues I've been to! Loved seeing The Plain White Ts, Tiffany and Save Ferris there!
Wish they didn't have seating so people could dance more. However, it is a great venue to see tribute bands at a good price. The staff is really nice. Last weekend Yachtley Crew put on an awesome performance.
A very unique venue with three levels of standing space. Mosh pit separate from bar space. Good Audio quality but not amazing. Would definitely hit it up again. Saw Linecutters and Blackflag
This is a good small venue and something the town of Big Bear needed. It has a cool three tier seating/standing platform system for spectators that give the active people a chance to be in the pit, while others can stay on the upper tiers, where it is more mellow. There are three different bar areas that serve beer and mixed drinks as well. The venue has great sound and light equipment for being a small venue as well. The location is also convenient to hit up the town bars after the concert.
Staff was very friendly and the food was really tasty. We stayed for the concert and we were able to reserve a table with “wait staff”. We will definitely come again!
Cool hangout, must go for drinks and entertainment on weekends. Band that played that night "mix tape" rocked. Happy crowd...must stick around for Kareoke...

One of my favorite places to walk in Big Bear. I've lived here over 25 years and I never get tired of the views. I like that it's on the easier side for all types of ages and fitness levels.
A nice easy paved walking/biking trail with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. We were walking and there were a lot of bikers but all were courteous and gave a wide earth. There were a lot of happy dogs being walked too. The one drawback is most of it next to a busy road. We enjoyed our walk and learned where to go in the future when we're looking for something more rigorous. Several natural trails branch off of this one.
Gorgeous place with lots of activities. From.hiking to fishing, also has a route you can enjoy riding a bicycle, the atmosphere is complete breathtaking and makes yourself to experience a good time with your family. You can bring some stuff to stay by the shore but I suggest you bring some games or stuff to play with your family.
Beautiful, peaceful, and family/pet-friendly hiking trail for novices and city dwellers. Lake access at Juniper Point. Parking lots require a recreation permit, but there is free parking off the main road. I didn't like the litter and trash or the motorized bikes zooming by though.
I absolutely loved and enjoyed walking here with my dog. I walked it in the rain and when it was sunny out. I would say walking through it in the rain was so peaceful and magical. The trail is nicely paved and takes you through a nice forest. 10/10 would come back here, heck I would drive up to big bear just to do this trail. My dog had a wonderful time! There’s also some very pretty nature to look at. Stop reading my review and just get out there!!! Gooooo!!
Very chill trail. Meanders along the lake. Lots of families, cyclists, and pets enjoying life here. It is peaceful and safe.
It's a beautiful walk path with a close view of Big Bear Lake. I didn't walk the path, I walked down towards the lake. If I lived there I would go there frequently
Beautiful lake view! You can see different kinds of birds. Beach is good for walking alone. Saw someone fishing there and got quite a few.

We really enjoy this trail !!! Amazing views, beautiful place but I do not recommend it for dogs because it has very rocky areas that can hurt them!
Great trail up to the PCT. Nice views of the lake, not too steep and well maintained trail.
Very Nice Trail, Easy to Hike and it leads to the PCT just below Bertha Peak Elevation 8200 ft. Parked at Cougar Crest Trailhead, Elevation 6200 ft, and started the hike up the mountain. Moderate Fairly Easy hike with lots of views of the Lake, many interesting Juniper and Pine trees, wild flowers and several benches to stop and rest along the way. Overall the trail was well maintained, well marked and easy to follow. We met several through hikers on the PCT as well as local hikers out for a day in Nature. So if you're thinking about hiking this trail give it a try it's not as difficult as described in the Trail Guide.

If you are in Big Bear and are looking for a way to spend a few hours with your kids this is a great option. It is only 5 dollars for adults and there is so much to look at. The kids will love panning for "gold" and interacting with the blacksmiths. Very well maintained and interesting museum.
Went here in a quick day trip with my husband and we always like to stop at the local museum. Honestly, the artifacts and the place itself is pretty nifty. But what made it especially enjoyable were the people. From the two older gentlemen working at the blacksmith stop to the lady who told us she was only there for 4 years - she was a fountain of information. It was a pleasure to learn more about old time Big Bear, my only complaint was wishing it hadn't been such a warm day. 😊
Absolutely charming museum powered by the passion and kindness of local volunteers. An absolute must for history buffs and families with kids visiting the Big Bear area in the summer. Absolutely what they’ve accomplished here. The old general store/post office alone is worth the visit. The black smith workshop is also a big highlight. Note: only open on weekends and occasional bonus days durning Summer. Check first.
The museum, which is operated by the Big Bear Valley Historical Society contains a wealth of different artifacts, buildings, paperwork, clothing, farm and mining tools and much more that are all tied to back to life in the early days around Big Bear Lake. It was opened in 1982 and now has nine buildings containing historical items and displays. You will also find a stamp mill, an old schoolhouse, a blacksmith shop, a gold panning station and even a gift shop. The staff here were very welcoming, friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have. This is a must place to visit when passing or staying for awhile in Big Bear Lake.
Highly recommend! This is only $5 bucks an adult, kids are free. This place is incredible and is extremely well preserved historic town. It feels like you are back in time. My kids loved it!
Very cool experience! Amazing information & displays! The volunteers are great with sharing interesting information! Unique souvenirs!
This is a fantastic museum and a GREAT place to take kids. No charge for kids under 12. And I believe Adults are $5.00. This is a walk back in time experience, complete with a working blacksmith area and a place for kids to pan for gold. There are lots of buildings that have been moved to the site including a schoolhouse, general store, and cabin. Our grandchildren have asked that we go for the past three summers. The docents are welcoming and knowledgeable. There is also an area for picnics. We love this museum!
A well maintained historic museum for the Big Bear Valley. The ticket is only $5 per adult. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable to guide us through unique experiences of blacksmith, gold panning, stamp mill, etc. We chatted with a few docents and realized that the museum is run by volunteers. We really hope the museum can last long in the future because it was a really fun and educative experience for our whole family!

Beautiful lake views. Hidden little gem for some time away from summer crowds. We were hoping to see the comet here but never did. The “dock” seems like it would be good for fishing but we didn’t bring our poles
Lovely walking area and park, beautiful view of the lake and am sure the beach area is nice even though it is closed at the moment.
Beautiful, huge park with lots of grass, beautiful water front views, best place to watch 4th of July fireworks and sunset!
Great views and near the Lake, basket ball, pickle ball and dog park close by.
This is a very nice park next to the lake with lots of parking and activities. Ballpark and many kids play areas as well as a cool dog park. The parking areas have several handicap parking spaces and ramps at the entrance to the welcome office. The park was very clean and the maintenance staff were busy making sure everything was neat and safe. Highly recommended.
It's a great place to make new duck and goose friends.
Three years later and it still gets 2 stars. It says on google dogs are allowed. At this beach tney are 100% not allowed. You can sort of walk your dog down a rock filled path nearby and climb down to a rocky edge. It's pretty dirty imo. 3 years ago, This beach is not open. The water level is so low its fenced off now. Such a bummer.
This is a beautiful park with beach front access. There are restrooms and plenty of parking in the parking lot Joined to the park. The park has a lush green lawn for picnics and a swing/ slide play area for kids. There are lots of birds flying around and at the end of the path near the rocks you will find a bunch of playful squirrels

We had an awesome time! Exceeded our expectations! We participated in the Alpine Ski Lodge escape room and it was a blast. Highly recommend and we will be coming back for their other escape room experiences.
This escape room broke us. In the best way. We laughed. We screamed. I wept like a Victorian widow. And through it all, Dimitri — our game master, our emotional support cryptid — stood by us with the serenity of someone who has seen THINGS. He let us be fully unhinged. Someone tried interpretive dance as a form of puzzle-solving. Another spoke only in riddles. I cried (loudly), and no one was ejected. Dimitri didn’t just allow it — he cheered us on. Like a proud dad at a haunted talent show. His hints? Impeccable. Subtle. Timely. Almost... too timely. We’re 87.3% sure he lives in the walls, whispering clues into the vents and watching our descent into beautiful madness with fond amusement. If you want puzzles, chaos, emotional release, and a game master who will let your weird flag fly at full mast — request Dimitri. You’ll leave changed. Possibly demented. Definitely smiling.
This was a fun escape room. We were in the mountain lodge room. Our game master, Matt was very friendly and informative. Highly recommend
We’ve done a few escape rooms but we aren’t historically very good at them. We were able to get through this one with a quite a few hints.
The owners were very nice, we played two rooms with a group of 5 guys and had a great time. I would highly recommend mountain room escapes.
We've done other escape rooms but so far this one has been the best! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, challenging and well thought out puzzles, and an interesting story line make this "ski lodge vacation" a must-do challenge.
I work remote y'all. They are so loud I try and cancel the noise but during meeting it's hard at times. I know they have to make money but so do I. Maybe do the exit at the front of your business. Bless your heart if you do.
Great host, great theme, had a great time here. The game was challenging and well put together👍🏾👍🏾 if we only had 5 more minutes we would’ve made it out successfully. iWould definitely recommend coming here.

Very nice, relatively easy trail. We took our 3 year old son; he was good for a mile but then got tired and wanted to be carried. So if you have little ones, bring a carrier for them because a stroller is not an option on this trail. Because of the little one, the trail took longer than expected (1 hour). Most folks finish it in 30 - 45 minutes. I had a little trouble with this hike due to the elevation in Big Bear but my husband was fine after a few minutes. This trail is supposed to be a good one to help acclimate to elevation, especially if planning to do other more difficult hikes. I loved the scenery of this hike and lots of opportunities to stop and climb rocks/boulders if that's something that interests you. The end of the trail is where you get a great view of the lake. I really liked this trail and hope to do it again in the future.
A beautiful hiking loop on the shorter side for when you want to have the experience of a hike but don't have the time or energy to commit to something longer. It has a good variation of flatter sections and some hills, along with beautiful views. I also love the information posts that correspond to the little pamphlet you can pick up at the trailhead for fun little insights and facts as you go along.
Great trail for an easy and scenic walk, located just three hours from Los Angeles. The hike is not too long or difficult, making it suitable for most people. The views are beautiful, especially on clear days. It can get crowded on weekends and holidays, so it's best to arrive early. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a relaxing nature experience
NOT FLAT, the google description is inaccurate. Great beginner level hike but absolutely an elevation climb. Path well marked but quite rocky at times. Not a trail for unstable elders or toddlers not into getting some exercise (i have both!). Great trail otherwise, feels little longer than 1.5 miles
What a beautiful trail! What a beautiful day to take a hike in February! The trail was a little loop with markers to learn about the local wilderness. I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old and they were both able to complete the hike.
Nice path thru the woods, partially shaded, near the lake so you can see a couple nice views. Kids enjoyed climbing on boulders in a couple spots. We had kids ages 8-16 with us. The path was a bit too steep and rocky for Grandma so she turned around and waited by the parking area. Bathroom at the parking area was clean. You can also buy the parking pass at a box in the parking area.
This well-maintained trailhead is located on the northside of Big Bear Lake off the Rim of the World Scenic Byway (Route 38). This trail is considered dog and kid friendly but make sure you keep your dog, not your child, on a lease always. The loop trail is approximately 1.6 miles long with a rise in elevation of 229 feet and takes approximately 42-45 minutes to complete depending on how much time you wish to take. There is free parking as well as a standard single-stall vault toilet along with an informative interpretive guide located at the trailhead.
Easy to find. Did the nighttime "Halloween Hike" and had a great time! Our guides, Shauna and Wally, were great! We got spooky stories and heard noises in the forest that added to the spookiness! The trail was easy with a slight incline. Gorgeous night sky views. Even a shooting star! I highly recommend this hike! A++ Remember to get an Adventure Pass (Parking Pass) before going. You can get them at the Discovery Center, Big 5 and 7-Eleven in Big Bear.

Great place to walk around and see the Lake. There is a very long elevated pathway above the lake. It was pretty crowded with people, dogs and bikes when we went (during a Saturday night of a Holiday weekend) but we were still able to easily find parking in the lot.
I saw Jackie or Shadow when I went for an early evening walk. You don't always see bald eagles, but there are always interesting birds along the boardwalk. Nice place for an after work walk. Fairly level and paved/boardwalk, so an easy place for a walk.
Great walking path for all levels and ages! There are a few benches and tables along the trail, but not much is shaded so keep that in mind during the hot summer. Good spot if you want to go birding or just get some outside time. Parking is somewhat limited but free along the street and in the lot.
The observation bridge made the place very nice. When you take photos, the bridge added for drama to the place. The background hills and the marsh and the clouds made it so cozy and nature. There is a good parking place and a good place to relax.
The bridge gives you a closer up view of the lake. You can see fish flopping in the water and flocks of birds skim across the lake and heron near the shore. It’s a nice walk to the north side about a two mile plus walk to the discovery center. The water smells bad though from across the embankment with pipes connecting it with the larger side of the lake. Could be from boats dumping their waste or just runoff from land. The parking lot is hard to access if you’re coming from the south side. You’ll have to cut across double yellow lines. The parking on the bridge side is limited. It’s also not allowed on the bigger bridge crossing the lake during snow season beginning October 15.
A beautiful and peaceful walk, just keep in mind that the mosquitoes come out at dusk.
Absolutely stunning location to watch the sunrise and go for a beautiful walk.
Very lovely place to walk! Many birds, Marsh areas and places to sit with a long board walk.
