Old City
1. Old City
Neighborhoods
The Old City is home to winding alleys filled with craft shops and art galleries, and stalls selling antiques and jewelry at the lively Jaffa Flea Market. Ottoman-era landmarks include the Clock Tower and St. Peter’s Church, while the Ilana Goor Museum shows Israeli and international art. The area is also popular for its hip wine bars, creative Mediterranean dining and seafood restaurants near Jaffa Port.
Neve Tzedek
2. Neve Tzedek
Neighborhoods
Artsy Neve Tzedek has avant-garde design stores, fashion boutiques and handicraft shops, as well as a weekly farmers’ market in HaTachana, a restored railway station. Trendy European restaurants sit alongside stylish bistros, and many of the area’s al fresco cafes turn into live jazz bars and cocktail lounges at night. Bustling with life and energy. Lots of young people. Golden silky sand and waters of 30 degrees Celsius. Huge variety of restaurants, coffee shops, snack places, sand bars etc. Parking is limited and expensive. Better to get by taxi.
Promenade is about 5 km long, stretching from the old city Jaffa to the south. You can walk down the beach or ride bike close by still overlooking the sea. Restaurants and shops nearby. Wonderful sandy beaches. Sunset is absolutely amazing here. Truly beautiful at day and night.
Bustling with people, beautiful view of the sea, warm sea water, Nice walkway, silky sand, lots of restaurants, lush green garden, play area this long beach has everything. This place is perfect for walk, run, sit, play and everything else. It stretches for about 6 km from Tel Aviv port to Jaffa.
Tel Aviv promenade or the ‘tayelet’ (in Hebrew) extends from Tel Aviv port in the north to Jaffa port in the south (approx. 5 km). As you walk it there are a number of beautiful sandy beaches and parks on one side and luxury hotels and restaurants on the other. The promenade is safe to walk at night or during the day. You can also rent an electric scooter as there is a dedicated scooter/bike path along its length.
The beach along Tel Aviv has a wonderful variety of activities and restaurants to enjoy. One of my favorite places to walk at sunrise.
Great city/ocean view. Don't miss the sunset. Restaurants, bars are good. Pretty expensive, and locals aren't so friendly.
Cool normal bay area, get a Lime scooter to pass through it quickly and enjoy the wind, some bars, some gym equipment and overall a nice plade
Such great vibes to walk there many days there are Street performance

Magnificent, especially for its unforgettable sunsets. The area is full of restaurants, cafes, bars, and eateries of all kinds. It also regularly hosts exhibitions, such as illuminated sculptures or works of art illuminated at night. The walk is definitely worth the detour. Just take a look at the photos.
Overpriced, overcrowded on shore mall. After 20:00 one can find parking at flat price 30NIS. Until 5:00. It's really worth it, because nearby parking lots expensive as hell. Fighting for spot can be long-time waiting and not quite politing. Be advised. Both on entrance and exit line of desperately seeking drivers.
I mostly visit for running on weekends but it’s a wonderful place for shopping, eating or having a good time with family and friends. A lot of parking and the weekend market is highly recommended
Tel Aviv Port is a vibrant and lively area with a mix of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. It is a great place to wander around, people-watch, and enjoy the sea breeze. There are also several boat tours available that offer a unique perspective of the city. Here are some of the things you can do at Tel Aviv Port: 1. Visit the Jaffa flea market 2. Take a boat tour of the city 3. Go shopping in the boutiques and shops 4. Enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants 5. Relax on the beach 6. Visit the marina See a concert or performance at the Port Park Overall, Tel Aviv Port is a great place to spend a day or evening exploring. It is a lively and vibrant area with something for everyone. Here are some pros and cons of Tel Aviv Port: Pros: 1. Vibrant and lively atmosphere 2. Mix of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions 3. Great place to people-watch 4. Beautiful views of the sea 5. Several boat tours available Cons: 1. Can be crowded, especially on weekends 2. Some of the restaurants can be expensive 3. Not as much history as other parts of Tel Aviv Overall, I would recommend Tel Aviv Port to anyone looking for a fun and lively place to spend a day or evening in Tel Aviv.
Magnificent place with beautiful view of the beach, waves, sunset etc. Lots of restaurants and eateries for spending quality time.
Nice large waterfront area with "bumps" that are fun to bike/scoot around, a carousel, smooth rocks for playing around or sitting on. There is a kid's sandpit but it also seems to be used as a dog's bathroom. Great view of the sea. There's a very large kid's playground and an exercise area and restrooms.
Very nice place to hang out with the family. A lot of places to eat, there are playgrounds for the kids, many ice cream places and other food. The promenade is great and allows uninterrupted view of the sea. There is also a breakwater that can be traveled for better view. There are 2 playgrounds- for toddlers and bigger kids and another place with fountains. The only issues are lack of shade and parking.
There are restaurants, bars, shops and activities for the children. Ideal place to chill. Unfortunatelly no public toilets.

Tel Aviv Museum art was great, it has many of the modern impressionists and European (Artist) Jew's in the collection which was wonderful to see. There was plenty on offer to see and I would recommend a visit here if you enjoy the visual arts.
I love this place. The building itself is original and the atmosphere is welcoming. I come at least once a month to see the new temporary exhibitions and to participate a guided tours. There is a caffeteria and restaurant on site. All the time there are activities for the families and kids.
Nice building with friendly staff. But the exhibits .. some are closed with no notice, I can understand a movie projection as art... but there were 5 exhibits of just movie. I didnt want to see youtube. The display are all over the place with no plan to see all and get back to the entry(and a lot stairs)
Normally I am not very affine to arts but this museum caught me. Due to the hot weather we were looking for a place to go. We had our children (age of 8 and 10) with us and we really had fun. It's amazing what children are able to see in paintings. I was really impressed by the artists which are shown there: Renoir, Monet, Klimt, Picasso.... But also the contemporary part was great. I can really recommend it (also with children).
A modern museum with well-organized collections and impressive architecture. Temporary exhibitions are carefully curated and often provide original perspectives.
Great museum of Modern Art in Tel Aviv. Spacious with a lot of temporary installations as well, impressionism, pop-art, a garden with sculptures and a lot more. We spent 75ILS for an adult and a senior
One of the highlights of my visit was the stunning collection of Israeli art, which provides a unique perspective on the country's rich cultural heritage and history. The museum's collection includes works by renowned Israeli artists such as Reuven Rubin, Nahum Gutman, and Yigal Tumarkin, among others. These artworks offer a fascinating insight into the Israeli art scene and its evolution over the years. The museum's architecture is also noteworthy, with its modern and sleek design that seamlessly blends with the surrounding urban landscape.
Highly recommend! Had the best time with my 5 yo daughter. She mostly enjoyed the Helena Rubinstein’s Miniature Rooms, the birds and the NFT exhibitions. The museum is very well maintained, clean and not crowded. Kids under 18 get a free ticket. Personally I prefer to get the tickets online, but there was no line waiting to buy tickets in the museum itself when we got there. The museum is closed on Sundays. Opens at 10 am each other day of the week. Check the website about the closing hours which change every day. And of course opening hours change on holidays.

Nice market in the heart of Tel Aviv. Very lively and crowded and plenty of choices to eat local food or to have a drink. There is also a good variety of cloth section. A must see place if you go to Tel Aviv.
The hustle and bustle of Carmel Street itself is not to be missed. An authentic “market”. Fruit, vegetables, breads, colorful, souvenirs. Hustling and bustling place
So I had some time to kill in the morning before my flight home so I joined friends for a walk through this area and had a great time seeing all the stands from candy to house hold items. You can do all your shopping here. The sights, sounds and smell of bread and cooking is wonderful.
A market is marked all over the world. Fresh on the spot juice from a variety of fruits. Market with sellers trying to get you to pay overprice for copy products like Nike, puma, Hugo Boss etc. Lots of cheap souvenirs from Israel. Some sellers can be very invasive Most prices can be dropped with a little bit of bargaining, Most shops sell the same at all different prices. Plenty of Mediterranean food which is delicious.
A very lively loud and very crowded market where one can find nearly anything, esp, food, spices, clothes, leather goods (incl. well made fake luxury brands). Fresh meat and fish are sold too, sometimes connected to a small eatery (seated or standing). Eateries are very crowded, loud and ventilators are blowing you away or provide fresh air (depending on how one can appreciate such kind of air blowing). If one appreciates a little less noise and crowd I can advise to take a side street and find a cosy place to eat or drink.
Carmel Market, one of the most colorful and exciting places in Tel Aviv. Not only fruits, vegetables and meats, but also clothes, children's clothes, shoes, glasses, accessories, toys etc.. Full of small restaurants, food stalls, everything is bustling, colorful and fun. Do not miss a visit to it.
A must see in Tel Aviv. The atmosphere is amazing and it nearly gives you a time traveler experience. You will find authentic stuff but as well some usual.. stuff. The food stand will let have a bite of everything. But no words can describe the experience, just go there!!!
Different great 👍🏻 sellers who wants to sell you something but still professional. Some of them not really. Definitely if you are a girl, guys would like to speak with you. Don’t hesitate to try everything and if you like you buy. To negotiate is Normal. Also kids negotiate

Slide 1 of 8
The Palmach Museum is located in Ramat Aviv and is dedicated to the Palmach strike-force of the Haganah defense organization that operated prior to the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948.
Not really a museum but more an experience traveling through multiple rooms telling the story of the Palmach. Personalised by relating entirely to a small team. Used original and recreated film which are clearly distinguished. Brings the early struggle for the state to life
You MUST have a pre-arranged reservation and your passport to get through security and pay the ₪30 entrance fee. There is only the timed, guided tour through the museum that has been built into a military facility. The tour itself starts with a short speech from your guide, followed by a series of film projections in specially curated sets. The story follows a founding group's experiences through Independence and the subsequent Arab conflicts from the Isreali perspective as the Palmach transitions to the IDF. There is also a large collection of photographic artifacts and a small Café. Often there are vetrans that visit at the end of the tour for questions and photos.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Stunning tour of history! You need to call ahead and make a reservation and keep in mind that the tour is appropriate for 6 years and above. The tour keeps all your senses including smell in mind as you are shuffled through time underground. Fantastic! Compelling and as always, whdn considering the personal stories of Israel history, bittersweet.
Amazing museum. Tell the history in a very engaging and emotional way. You really get into the story. And you learn the values that allowed us to get our country. Very educational experience for kids and adults. The sound system is not amazing, though.. and it's not recommended to young kids, or highly sensitive... Bring tissue paper...
Very INTERACTIVE Experience! You move through many different rooms/years and witness personal accounts that make the story real! You can’t get bored Cool Museum Great History (though a bit biased) Definitely worth seeing
It's very nicely guided, suitable for all ages and available in English very recommended.
Had a smooth and pleasant experience. Will definitely come back

This spectacular art market is open on Fridays. It presents a wide variety of art products with no particular common denominator. The area is beautiful and leads to the old neighborhoods of Tel-Aviv and to the Carmel Market.
Really cool fair to take part in. The fair only takes place twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays there is all different types of art. Judaic art, Israeli art and contemporary art as well. It is a must see if you are in Tel Aviv!
Amazing art marked! There are so much amazing art for sale. Many artists are working while sitting there so you can see how they make their beautiful works. It's such an uplifting and fun place to visit. Even when it's buzy it still feels calm and relaxing to walk there and look and buy artwork from different artists. I highly recomend it🙂
This is the spot, friends. Looking for unique, high-quality art, craft, and jewelry to give yourself, your mom, your friends, your dog, there’s something for everyone and it’s all super high quality of creation. Don’t miss out.
I always love coming here to buy souvenirs and gifts when I visit Israel. The vendors sell a wide range of unique handmade crafts; from jewelry and handbags to judaica, glassware and soaps. I highly recommend visiting this area and taking your time exploring the numerous unique pieces and abundant local talent.
Amazing! The artist market deserves 10 stars and I fell in love with it! I highly recommend Hila's soaps. They are 100% natural, vegan and handmade. Especially the dead sea mud soap is a unique souvenir/gift made in Israel :-D
Great quality gifts and items to purchase. Some stands take credit card. Only open 2 days a week.
So fun to walk around and see all the artists display their work. I bought way too much stuff

Wonder and super aesthetic area for all kinds of foods and restaurants! From grocery shops to candy stores to kiosks and to bars! A place for all your kinds of taste buds! Super beautiful too full of decorative nature, wooden flavour of furniture and dim lights ❤️ the visual took me by a heart beat loved entering this building hated to leave it! Full of wonderful people and workers to serve all of your needs ,definitely a place to visit while in tel aviv! Can't believe I never been there before! Got myself noodles from wok to walk and some snacks from sweetime candy world ❤️ can't wait to come again and try the different quazines they over here!
I bring my friend to Tel Aviv so he can feel the vibe and taste of this incredible city. And Sarona market IMHO is a best place to feel it. This is a place to visit from time to time to refuel with energy.
Sarona Market has a great central location and is a beautiful, well-maintained place to explore. There’s a wide variety of food options, though prices can be a bit on the expensive side. You’ll find seating both indoors and outdoors, which is convenient. In the evening it’s fairly relaxed, but not all vendors are open. At lunchtime, however, the place gets absolutely packed. Overall, a very enjoyable spot to visit — definitely recommended.
Very nice air-conditioned market. Food variety were aplenty. Perfect place for a hot day to come for lunch/drinks and to do some quick shopping It is conveniently located to Tel Aviv’s train station, and there are major shopping malls nearby as well. There are a lot of parking options around the office buildings (though they are a little bit pricy)
Contrary to everyone's opinion and the way it looks like when you first arrive, I didn't like it. Yes - great first impression. Good visuals, nice presentation, seems like there is a lot to pick from, but - there isn't. It's extremely expensive and the food is pretty much the same as any street market. I'd rather visit the old city. It's fine if you're near it, and if you can find it, because of constructions and misleading location markers, but don't expect too much and maybe you'll like it better. I expected more variety. Maybe some places were just closed, I don't know. I only had a craft beer that nobody cared to tell me the name of, it was very good.
Sarona Market is a cool place to visit in Tel Aviv. It is a covered market and a meeting hub full of food stores selling meats, cheeses, breads, alcohol and also small eateries with Israel food, Japanese cuisine, pizza, pasta and more. Lovely place to visit and shop or eat. A variety of small shops with specialties. Sarona market is more like a food court. There are food shops and many restaurants inside. The design is contemporary, it is nice and clean. I loved the most the surroundings - small, old houses, parks and everything surrounded by skyscrapers. A great mix of modern and traditional. Little europe in middle of tel aviv. Nice place to hang out with various shops. You can have a drink on a bar, eat delicious deserts and many multiple choices of great street food - some pf them belong to chef restaurants. Must visit when you are exploring tlv. You can easily spend 2 -3 hours here.
In general, this is a beautiful place. I was in Sukkot, so there were a lot of people. I saw a variety of food for everybody, some stores, places to drink, and sweets. I want to come back in calmer days.
Lovely place to visit and shop or eat. A variety of small shops with specialties. Very nice tea shop, eastern sweets shop, tahini and halva place, ice cream factory and many others not vegan, meat and cheese places. Nice surroundings with restored old buildings and a water lily's pond. A lot of modern architectural structures nearby.

I'm probably not objective, but this experience loved me to tears. It's actually a temporary location while the municipality is fixing the actual historical location where the signing of the declaration took place. The exhibit is pretty well done and it's a short cultural experience that's accompanied by an 11 minute movie that can then be coupled by a visit to shuk hacarmel or a walk in the neve tzedek neighborhood famous for it's boutique cafes and artisan shops.
Definitely a great start to learning about Tel Aviv! The name Tel Aviv in Hebrew means "Hill ( tel) of Spring (aviv)". This is the title given by Nahum Sokolow to his Hebrew translation of Theodor Herzl's book Altneuland (German: " The Old New Land"). Fascinating to learn about how the first settlers of 64 family started by buying sand dunes and from there building this city that we are in today! What a momentous place to hear how Israel was declared as a state from this very place - located on the historic Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv, Israel. From 1932 to 1971 housing the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, it is currently a museum dedicated to the signing of the Israeli Declaration of Independence and the history of Tel Aviv. The Tel Aviv Museum was established in 1932, at the instigation of the city’s first mayor, Meir Dizengoff. He envisioned the growth of Tel Aviv into a vibrant modern metropolis with all its cultural institutions, including a museum of art. As part of his vigorous efforts to make this vision a reality, Dizengoff appealed to members of the arts and culture community in the city, enlisted his personal connections around the world, and ultimately even donated his own private residence as the new museum’s first abode. On Friday, May 14, 1948, the state of Israel’s Declaration of Independence was proclaimed at the Museum building at 16 Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv. This historic event also marked the start of a new chapter in the Museum’s history.
We spent the morning learning about how Ben Gurion and other Israeli leaders declared independence in 1948. It is an amazing story. I highly recommend visiting here when you are in Tel Aviv.
The space is dedicated to a single event with a 24 NIS entry fee. There is a movie room, with a version available in English, that provides the historic context of the Israeli statehood movement. There is some art, photos, and a declaration, but it was difficult to determine which pieces were authentic or replications. The room itself has been recreated for the scene of the independence declaration, where tours are available in English.
This is a very small museum compared to other museums (Israel/Holocaust) and it's about 20 shekels to get in. If it's expensive for you it's ok to skip, you can learn most from Wiki readings
Very inspiring place, nice kept. It is amazing being there, at the same spot where Ben Gurion decalred Israel's independence 70 years ago
The museum will not take you more than a half hour and is an invaluable piece of the history and the spirit of Tel Aviv and Israel.
This is the site where David Ben-Hurion declared independence. The overview in English was useful, as were the two videos with English subtitles.

Expansive beautiful park not too far away from the downtown city. Plenty of options including interesting attractions like a ropes course, hot air balloon. Tons of walking and biking trails as well as plenty of greenery and flora/fauna to take a break and relax in.
Huge park in Tel Aviv. A great place to relax and walk. A large number of different animals, especially at night. The park has a lot of entertainment and sports grounds. At any time of the year here you can find something to do.
Very big beautiful park to walk around and enjoy nature, cycle, have a picnic, read a book, etc... includes a lake, with small boats and paddles, waterfalls, a beautiful tropical forest, and old water mills. You could see some fishes, ducks and other animals, Entry is free, and it's clean. i definitely recommend this place.
Places like this should be celebrated inside cities! Long story short, it’s a beautiful park that can offer a great stroll, the ability to do any sport imaginable, and somewhere to relax and enjoy your peace of mind! Give it a go!
Beautiful and massive park surrounded by the busy city of Tel-Aviv. There are lot of ponds and river going through the park with very beautiful birds. There are also playgrounds for kids and good running and cycling tracks for people who want to stay active. There are jackals running around in the park. You can hear them howl in packs. Really awesome. There also possible to take a balloon trip up above the park.
A nicely sized and conveniently located park. A great location to get away from the city within the city. You can relax on the grass, free your dog in one of several dog parks or play in the playgrounds. Those inclined to do fitness will find many resources as well as some good running routes.
Great accessible nature in the city. Good for joggers, biker, photographers. A lot of birds around and early in the morning - jackals can be seen
You can hike along Hayarkon while staying close to the trail. There are also seating areas riverside if you need to catch a breath. This river attraction is located at a National Park with more things to do like the Rock Garden with live Cactus and a bird observatory.

Tours
Slide 1 of 8
My family and I loved it. Everything was on time. Our tour was very interesting. Thank you very much for helping us to discover Jerusalem!
On our way to the Dead Sea, we were told that there would be no stops on the way back home, while the driver stopped the bus at the Black Pearl cosmetics shop anyway. Instead of the announced time of 20 min’s waiting, it took us almost an hour. I do understand that Atlantis works with this shop, but giving misleading promises is no good to say the least. Other than that everything was ok 👌
The tour guide was good but the bus was dirty, and with a broken seat belt. The sales person said that Masada tour included 4 hours by the Dead sea, next day over the phone they said 2-2,5 hours guaranteed. In reality there were only 70 minutes, but the good thing there was not much to do longer unless you came specifically for the Sea. They completely ignored the complaints.
Our trip was to the dead sea from Jerusalem. Bus arrived 40 min late-no appology, no explanation on the part of the driver whatsoever. On the way back, it was agreed we were to be picked up by the same driver but a different one showed up 40 min late yet again saying to get on the bus. When asked any questions, staff was rude, no explanations given for the mess up. Changed buses twice, again no explanation just an order each time to move to the next bus.
Disorganized; no logistics; poor planning; no coordination… The guide, Alik, did not have a microphone - it was not possible to catch his sketchy pieces of information outside. My friend asked him why he would not get a mic for the convenience; his response was so obnoxious, “I thought only my wife could suggest what I have or do not have to do!” Waste of our time and money…
My family and I have had several tours with Atlantis and all of them were well organized and thought through. All tour guides are knowledgeable and look like they enjoy what they do. I definitely recommend Atlantis to anybody who wants to see Israel.
Be awere.Terable service. No respond .When we call and complain the answer was SEND Email. On Wednesday April 26th we had a Tour to Masada and Dead Sea. Tour guide didn’t say a word, didn’t explain anything during the 2 hours’ drive from Tel Aviv to Masada. On the way there the bus was broken. At first the driver thought that they can feet 70 PAX in a bus for up to 50 PAX. Eventually we needed to wait for an hour and a half for other bus to replace. The tour at Masada last only 40 minutes, the group was in a rush because all the lost time with the buses. It was very disappointing to get to Masada after 3 and a half hours, and there- we just saw the movie.barely to have explanations. After we came back to Dead Sea and spend 50min there before we went back to hotel.
Horrible tour from start to finish. The driver was reckless and he aalmost got us into two accidents as well as running someone over. The tour guide was salty, rude, and didn't explaining anything. She was screaming at other tour goers for being 3 minutes late which was absolutelyo appalling. I can't believe this company hires people that don't care about what they do at all. Never had a worse experience!!! Please reconsider using them. Beware of driver yossef and tour guide sveta!!

Slide 1 of 8
Really nice place that we visit frequently. The wild animals part is really nice when it's not hot and the animals are active. The zoo part is also nice when it's not too crowded. Many exhibitions have been renovated in the last few years, and they are now more modern and let you watch the animals from closer range. Feeding times are always good to watch. Don't come on holidays since it's way too crowded.
Our recent visit to the safari with my daughter was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the excitement was palpable. Seeing the animals up close in such spacious, natural habitats was truly a highlight. We were particularly captivated by the playful monkeys and the majestic giraffes. My daughter's face lit up with every new discovery, and it was wonderful to share such a memorable experience with her. The entire park was well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We're already planning our next trip back!
Our second visit — and definitely not the last! We now bring all our guests here and will keep doing so. The experience is truly unique: even though you’re technically inside the city, with buildings visible on the horizon, it genuinely feels like driving through the African savannah — surrounded by rhinos, zebras, antelopes, and many other animals. A fantastic place, highly recommended!
They have discounts for Ramat Gan and Tel Aviv residents! Besides that, this place is full of emotions that cute animals can share with you. I love giraffes, zebras, orangutans, and night foxes. The 90 years old giant grandma-turtle is happy to blink you with an aye slowly. You can watch an orangutan TV show series live. Penguins are cooling down and eating fish. It's fascinating. And the animals are taken care of very well. Be aware that the lions’ site closes at 3 PM.
Great outdoor activity for adults and kids, plenty of parking, dont miss the safari car ride through the local savanna where you can see rhinos, hippopotamus, zebras, antilopes, and lions. Later you park your car and walk through the park to see all the animals in their compounds, chickens run free all over the park so ita nice for toddlers. There are 4 asian and 2 african elephants, 4 jiraffs, 2 persian leopards, 1 bear, lots of kengeroes and monkeys and all kind of animals. It was pretty clean and well maintained, the prices at the kiosks were fair, 5 shekels for an popsicle.
The place is not maintained as one would of expected. The entire zoo is full of rats, even in the bears' cage!!! The ponds in the animals' cages are so filthy that it is difficult to see the bottom of the pond. Moreover, the crocodile's surrounding is very dirty, filled with trash and plastic bottles. Also, we hardly saw the lions because they were far away and their yard is surrounded by an electric wire that prevents them from approaching the cars. It was a fun experience for the kids, they enjoyed it. However, very disappointing...
A great attraction for kids and grown-ups. With magnificent animals and places to sit and eat and drink something. Not a lot of shadows in the walking area, but a lot of sitting zones with enough shadow. If going with kids it's recommended to arrive with a stroller or other vehicle for them because of the long distances walking for them.
So many impressions! The park is well fit to the environment, real feeling of being in a jungle We spent around 4 hours here, and I think it's an adventure for a whole day What Is important for us - animals are well cared and the company is working on ecological projects of breeding endangered species. Definitely will come back

I highly recommend going to this well-invested museum. Also suitable for children but aged 10+. There are many interactive displays to connect visitors to Jewish history. Includes original items from history. You can spend a good few hours in the museum. There is parking nearby.
The museum is modern, interactive, and really fun to explore. It makes the Jewish story come alive in a way that’s interesting for both Jews and non-Jews. The exhibitions show the history, culture, and traditions of Jewish life in a clear and engaging way. They also explain the struggles Jews have faced over time while showing how they managed to keep their unique identity and traditions. What I loved most was how interactive everything is. You don’t just look at displays, you actually feel part of the journey. It’s educational without ever feeling heavy, and it leaves you with a deeper understanding of the Jewish people and their story. I highly recommend the ANU Museum to anyone visiting Tel Aviv. Don’t miss the guided tour! It’s inspiring, eye-opening, and a place you won’t forget.
A Wonderful and Meaningful Family Day Out As a family living in Israel, we have fond memories of visiting the old Beit Hatfutsot over the years. This October, we finally took our four children to experience the newly reimagined ANU Museum, and we were so glad we did. The day was made truly exceptional by our guide, the wonderful Henya. Navigating any museum with a crew of four kids can be a challenge, but Henya was simply magical. She has an incredible gift for storytelling, bringing history to life in a way that captivated everyone, from our youngest to our oldest. She didn't just recite facts; she wove a vibrant and personal narrative of the Jewish people, expertly guiding us to the exhibits she knew would spark their curiosity. Her passion was infectious, and she connected with each of our children, making them feel like they were on a grand adventure through time. The new museum is undeniably impressive—a state-of-the-art institution perfectly tailored for today's generation. The interactive displays and modern technology are fantastic and kept the kids completely engaged. And yet, for those of us who grew up wandering the halls of the former Beit Hatfutsot, there's a faint whisper of nostalgia for what was. While the sleek screens are brilliant, a small part of me missed the quiet, handcrafted magic of the old dioramas that sparked the imagination in a different way. However, this is a minor reflection, not a criticism. The ANU Museum has brilliantly succeeded in its mission to evolve, telling our collective story with a vital and global perspective. We left feeling reconnected and deeply proud of our shared heritage, and it sparked so many important conversations on the car ride home. For a meaningful family experience, I highly recommend a visit. If you can, ask for Henya—she will make your day truly unforgettable.
This museum tells about the history and partly the culture of the Jews, and from different angles (music, cinema, theater, religion) and from different times. We can say that here you can see and read everything you would like to know about the Jews. Very interesting exhibits and their descriptions. Some look like full-fledged small rooms filled with "what the museum wants to show you." It was an interesting experience. P.S.: The museum is located on the territory of the "university campus", to get into it, you need to go through the checkpoint, and not look on the map for a direct entrance to the museum from the street.
Pretty great museum. I'd suggest starting from the top floor, and then gradually enjoy exhibition while going down. The museum is interactive, so will be great of you plan visiting with kids. The exhibition is built like in clasters, so, it'll be ideal for guided tours.
Warning: This museum is a rabbit hole - once you are in, you won‘t leave! A very good museum that presents Jewish history, cultural life and religion in a modern way. With interesting short movies, good explanations and historic artefacts. Must-see if you have the time and you are interested in Jewish culture.
I have been to the previous Diaspora Museum a few times and this is my first visit to the renovated and modernized new museum. It’s almost a brand new experience with so many interactive, hi-tech items that kids can play with. It’s so much fun and educational at the same time. The whole atmosphere is different: diverse, colorful, bright, modern, and optimistic. I love the new museum a lot more than the previous one.
Very well organized and full of learning. The interactive displays were especially impressive. A perfect place for families and students!
