The check in staff was personable and friendly. Checked into my room in the Manor, i didn’t realize how large this hotel was! Everything was gorgeous and there is tons of spaces for relaxing with friends and family. The room was smaller than anticipated but cozy with plenty of room for luggage. The bathroom could use some work, definitely shows heavier wear and tear but it is an old building. Enjoyed dinner at the restaurant on site, Bridgeman’s Chophouse. It is a must if you are staying here. Having starbucks on site is also a huge plus. Every area of the hotel I encountered was extremely clean. My family was impressed by his kindness and professionalism. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food at the hotel was top tier. I thought our conference hired an outside catering company, because the food at the hotel was so tasty, fresh, and professionally done. The cooking staff is wonderful, and I was grateful for such an amazing culinary experience. I interacted with Sunny and Marni at the check-in desk who both made me feel like I was at home. They both went the extra mile in different ways to ensure I had the resources from the business center that I needed to effectively do my keynote presentation at the conference and also to ensure that my check-in process went smoothly. Last, but not least, the conference I attended had around 100 attendees with a lot of decorations, food service, events, and other intricate details. The hotel's conference/banquet staff did a wonderful job ensuring everything went smoothly. I don't know everyone's names on that team but Arabelle, Sadiq, Sir Obadiah, TK, Q, Dennis, and the rest of the banquet crew did an absolutely wonderful job, and did it all with a pleasant, kind attitude! We opted to rent out the RiverHouse for the weekend before our Sunday Wedding and was able to have a lovely time with our family coming from out of town the night before. At my ceremony, there was a crazy windstorm that blew off a bunch of our reception table decorations. It was a little bit of a disaster. Without anyone asking, the staff saved my centerpiece and brought it indoors, then repaired and put back all the decorations on the table. They also offered help in the set up and take down.
