I had asked for some celebratory fuss, which didn't happen (even though they'd emailed confirmation of it and mentioned it on the phone) - which was a shame. Especially since a cake was brought out with candles and singing happy birthday at another table. The restaurant was quieter than we expected with only a few tables filled. But the service was very friendly and attentive and it was the tastiest Sunday roast I've had in a long time. The pianist was excellent and friendly. I think it would be good if the coffee was served from the bar instead of the back of the restaurant as it took the waitress a long time to make each coffee, and they were served lukewarm. Overall we really enjoyed our visit and since it was quiet we were easily able to chat with each other. There were definitely some improvements to be made but we had a lovely lunch.

You are greeted and sat on entry and the menu is a good size but a little on the expensive side. I have to say it’s worth it though as the quality of the food is great. Booking the table 2 weeks in advance via Instagram and making sure the venue was aware when we had to make slight changes. I felt truly embarrassed that I had chosen this venue for my friends and truly feel that the staff's confrontational attitudes and blaze, apathetic approaches ruined my evening.
