Great ambience, even inside, if you love being by the water!
Our server, Nick, was kind, patient and attentive.
Everyone enjoyed their meals with the highlights being the Apricot Chicken, crab-stuffed flounder, the lobster bisque & the volcano shrimp.
Side note: the Caesar salad came with a cute presentation but the leaves are left long and you have to cut up the salad yourself. (See pic) I didn’t mind it but my husband wasn’t a fan of having to do that. Wasn’t a big deal, just worth noting.

A new find for date night with me and my husband. Absolutely love the outside dining the view of the water ideal. The food the stand outs the zeppole starter delightful, the classic ceasar salad perfect summer salad, the oysters outstanding the best oysters hands down me and my husband ever had. Great experience we will be back again.

I don't know how I never came here before. This place is absolutely amazing. I stopped in for a quick lunch over the Labor Day weekend. When I walked in I got a wonderful greeting by the hostess and she was nice enough to accommodate me for outdoor dining as I am a solo diner. I got such a lovely view of the water and it was so nice seeing the boats go by.
My server was Ariana and she was friendly and attentive. I wasn't too hungry so I opted for a lighter meal so I got the orange salmon and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. I also loved the zeppole starter where I ended up eating the whole basket. Menu options here are great and are priced accordingly.
The restaurant itself inside and out is beautiful, clean and very spacious. They also have plenty of onsite parking.
Overall, I was very pleased by my first experience and I will definitely come back here again in the future....😋

I’ve been to the wharfside several times and the experience is pretty consistent. Lovely atmosphere, good service, good drinks, but lackluster food. I’ve had my share of overcooked flavorless steaks, undercooked seafood, and lobster rolls with shells throughout. How does a seafood restaurant consistently screw up seafood? My boyfriend said his lobster roll was so chewy it was getting stuck in his teeth. While the prices are on par with other restaurants in the area, I feel you could really get a lot more for your money elsewhere.

Jenny didn’t only give amazing service; the restaurant closed at 9pm, she said I’ll take that table! @ 8:45pm when the host was reluctant to seat any more tables. We ordered appetizers, entrees, desert with espresso and everything was perfect. Thank you for being an all star Jenny!

Came here visiting from Dallas. No reservations accepted. Waited about 40 minutes on a Friday evening. Requested patio near water. Great views! Started with the sesami ahi tuna which was a bit overcooked. Good flavor but just seared way too much. I ordered the 3lb lobster which was humongous and exactly what I wanted! You can't get lobsters that big in Texas (no surprise there) so I had to take advantage of the opportunity! I barely finished but thoroughly enjoyed myself. The place got really busy but it was a fun and scenic seafood experience. Highly recommend.

I've been coming here since the 80s. Always been good. Until this visit. I ordered shrimp scampi. Came out with no garlic at all. Pasta tasted like lemon juice and was overcooked. Horrible! The server made an excuse that people complained that they had too much garlic so they backed off on it. Seriously, if you don't like heavy garlic, don't order scampi. Had drunken clams which were ok. The broth was a little weak but I enjoyed the clams. Service was sketchy as usual. Was a Monday night and the place was fairly empty. Servers gathered at a table hanging out instead of checking on the tables they had. Did not stay as our visit was lacking.

Called about their lobster roll which is advertised on their sign.
I asked if it was a whole lobster in a roll to which they said no.
They informed me it’s a mixture of mayo and lobster with some veggies, I asked them if the mixture is mostly filler or mostly chunk lobster meat and they told me it’s almost entirely made of chunk lobster meat.
When I opened my lobster roll I was immediately disappointed. This absolutely not chunk lobster meat (not a single chunk present).
It is largely made up of potato chunks (which I’m assuming are there to imitate chunks of lobster) and cucumber chunks.
The lobster meat it has is shredded lobster meat, and low quality shredded lobster meat for that matter.

Great spot on the water to grab some lunch or dinner! The menu is excellent, full of yummy seafood options. They had everything from shrimp tacos to fancy surf and turf dinners. So whatever vibe your going for, they can provide. The outside patio overlooking the water and boats is gorgeous. And out server Paige was excellent, fast and friendly as well. Its a bummer that their happy hour specials are for inside only because of course everyone wants to sit outside.

The food was spectacular — this is actually our second time here in just one week because we enjoyed it so much. We also had beautiful views of the water, which made the whole experience extra special. The environment is definitely an A+. Great experience! We enjoyed a delicious meal on the patio with water and boat views. Our server was attentive and our food arrived promptly - hot and looking amazing. My husband and I had a beautiful moment at The Shrimp Box. This restaurant is so chill and relax. The fresh seafood at reasonable prices were served by very nice and attentive server.
The good view of Cooks Creek in Point Pleasant Beach made our lunch even more special.
Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to slow down and appreciate the good things in life. We love it!❤️

Thursday lunch (Sunset Dinner) at The Shrimp Box and had a wonderful afternoon! The waterfront location was awesome!. I ordered the ‘The Trio’- shrimp, scallops & flounder, which was so flavorful and fresh along with an app of Clams Casino. My partner got the Chicken Parm (they’re not a big seafood fan). But found it surprisingly well presented and cooked to perfection. Both meals came with soup or salad and dessert. Portions were generous! That salad was great but just a bit too much dressing..
Service was friendly, and attentive. Even a surprise check- in by the manager who asked how everything was! Prices are fair for quality seafood. All in all we’re glad we tried The Shrimp Box out! It’s a great spot for fresh seafood and a relaxed water view. Will be back next time I’m in Point Pleasant!!!!

Lovely place on the water in Point Pleasant. Excellent food in cozy clean restaurant. It feels familiar and comfortable but not old because of the remodeling. Nice view of the water if you get a table along the wall. Experienced kitchen with lots of good dishes at affordable prices for fresh seafood. Crab cakes are excellent. Scallops and salmon, fried shrimp all great. Carrot cake is great. Would like to visit again next time I'm up there. Parking lot can be a bit challenging, even though they have two. It can get very busy during peak times and season.

The Shrimp Box is a great spot right next to Point Pleasant Beach, perfect for a summer outing with family or visitors. We tried the Sunset Diner Menu, which was a great deal and included soup or salad, a fresh seafood entrée, dessert, and a drink. Our group had golden fried shrimp, flounder, fish and chips, stuffed salmon, and lobster, everything was fresh and delicious. Great food, generous portions, and a beautiful waterfront setting. What a fun night!!! Our company hosted an event here and Oh Boy!!!! We had a blast!!! The music is great the atmosphere is awesome you can sink in your toes to the sand and watch waves while eating, space is huge and can accommodate hundreds of people, the food is decent we are served BBQ style buffet, the 2 free alcoholic drinks is weak but we ask the bar tender to put more alcohol and he’s nice to do so. Comfortable and chill is how I describe this outdoor gem. The service was attentive and warm. We got a dozen oysters with margaritas. I love Tiki every year. I feel safe with their tight security and bar entry system. I always grab a spot under a palm and order frosty drinks 🍹 that are quality mixtures with the right ratios. The best one imo is the espresso and the pina colada comes in 2nd. The food is good. A burger with mushrooms came with a lot of crisp hot fries. The ceviche was delicious. A.J. the manager has the absolute worst temperment and should not be a manager. Went to an event for 4 to 8 on the beach and got harassed at 7pm to leave our bench seats. While we were still drinking. Our party existed of people in their late 60's and 70's. Turned a nice night into a rude obnoxious experience from an arrogant 25 yr old child manager. Went for country night as one of my favorite artists was performing. Bought tickets and saw the doors open at 7 pm, and the show starts at 8 pm. Showed up at 7 pm and already people were there by the stage when we walked in. Unlike most bar venues that have concerts, this place does not shut down and make it so that only people who purchased tickets attend. Anyone who was there before 7 pm was allowed to stay even if they did not buy a ticket. The biggest issue I had was the false advertising. The flyer clearly said the show starts at 8 pm, but the opener did not come on till 8:30 pm, and the main act, after asking a bartender, did not come on till 9:30 pm. Beautiful place to enjoy the view of the ocean, but a tad pricey when it comes to drinks.

We came to celebrate a friend’s birthday, expecting to keep the good vibes going, but the experience was disappointing from the start. The staff was rude and confused, and the rules were a mess. Different areas had random conditions. A staple from my childhood I'm glad to see Leggetts still going strong. I grew up in Manasquan so Saturdays at the beach and a Leggetts dinner were a must! After I was 21 I would be here most nights with friends to close the bar down and enjoy the weekly specials. Even 10 years later I love to see that the atmosphere hasn't changed. Great bar seating, friendly staff, amazing bartenders. Strap in for a wild night of bingo on Thursdays or enjoy some live music on the patio during the weekend, you can't go wrong here. Menu has the staples, id highly recommend the pizza (paired with a Miami Vice (floater of course)). Truly a Jersey Shore experience if you ever find yourself in the area I can't speak enough good things about this place

Favorite dinner spot- we hit it several times during our weeks vacation and the food is great. The menu has narrowed a bit over the years, but what they offer has always been high quality. Great times in the bar after dinner as well, and they usually have decent live music in the outdoor dining area. My only suggestion is to open up the beer selection outside- the indoor and outdoor beer menus are not the same which can be a little strange having to switch products if you are waiting for an outside table at the inside bar...

I was given a gift card from a friend, who is very into sports.
I am not a big sports fan, there for not really knowing much about the place, I took my girl and we decided to check it out.
We were Sat in the main bar, which, was loud as the game (multiple) was on.
At first it was cool, but as we were having having convo, it was apparent that we were out of our element.
Tomall who love a loud Sunday football game, this is the place for you! As for us, we asked em if we could sit outside, and we were relocated.
After that, all was good. We had the spin dip, and a cocktail to start, I had the leggets burger (double) and the lady had the mahi tacos, we enjoyed everything, and the price was right.
I probably won't go back, only bc it's not exactly my scene. But if it's yours, burn a Sunday with beers and wings!

Delicious food at a prime location near the beach - would highly recommend. I visited in the off season and their outdoor patio was closed but it looked like a beautiful place to hang out outdoors. The service was good but the food was even better. Their french onion soup is fantastic. We also had the chicken nachos, wings and pizza and all were delicious.

My father and I organized a fundraiser at the Osprey for The Vic Kubu Long Blue Line Scholarship Fund on Saturday, May 3rd. I personally could not have asked for a better experience than this one! Communicating with Dave, Lauren, and Anthony about our ideas, and then seeing them come to life, was even better than I imagined it to be. The night of the event, all staff made it their priority to help in any way that was needed, as well as make sure the participants were having a great time. Participants were allowed to bring their own food or get it delivered which was a great touch. (Even the DJ was announcing when delivery drivers were outside!) With every bar being staffed, the bartenders ensured every guest was taken care of efficiently. The DJ was a huge help with the music and making sure the questions were projected on stage correctly. We can't wait to make this an annual event and get the honor of working with The Osprey owners/staff every year. If you are looking for an amazing space to host your next event, I would look no further than here!

I organized a fundraiser at the Osprey for Manasquan Cares on April 12, 2025. I couldn’t have asked for the event to go any better than it did from start to finish! It was so easy and stress free communicating with the owners, Dave, Lauren and Anthony. They were present throughout the entire evening and answered any questions I had throughout the night. They were so personable and helped make the event extra special.
We discussed our plan to have Take Five Band perform for the night and we arranged for two food trucks, Ragin Cajun and Harry’s Smokin’ BBQ, to sell food to our guests in the back lot. Security personnel greeted each guest promptly with smiles. They were also stationed throughout the building to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves safely. The bartenders took care of every guest efficiently. The DJ/sound manager was on point sharing reminders and transitioning smoothly from the band performing to him playing music.
I can’t wait to organize another fundraiser at the Osprey. They are committed to our community and want to help out as much as possible. Everyone should support the Osprey because they truly care about us.

There’s no place I’d rather spend my Friday nights than Osprey. I went for the first time last summer and never get tired of the place. You get the best of both worlds with the live music and the boom boom room. The staff is super friendly and eager to serve you as well as have good conversations. They always take suggestions and it’s great how they give out merch and other goodies for their customers. I plan on going here for the rest of my life!

I mostly come to Jenks during the busy summer months. Even though I prefer the Jenks at the Inlet, I still come here for a quick drink. The last time I got food was years back, and it was pizza, which wasn't too bad for boardwalk food.
This place is always packed inside and out and can seem quite congested, especially during events. Prices for drinks are pretty cheap in comparison to other places I have gone to, and the bartenders are fast and friendly.
If you are a person that isn't too claustrophobic, then this is a place worth checking out in Point Pleasant. But, one thing is for certain whether it is busy or not....you will always have a good time at Jenks!

We tried the clams from the raw bar were sooo amazing super fresh. My husband had the fried chicken tenders were very good on our first visit and highly enjoy the blue moon on tap. On our second visit here we tried the salmon and avocado roll was excellent and tried out the blue moon yards me and husband. This is me and my husband’s favorite lunch spot. Our third time to the pavilion love the beach view great drinks and food. The raw bar is excellent.

Location perfection. Stopped in while walking the boardwalk and almost felt like entering an island oasis. Palm trees, cabanas, beach bars, good music, happy staff, and views that could rival a triple the cost tropical vacation.
In the best location as far as walking distances, it couldn’t get any easier. Had a few apps and a couple drinks, which I highly suggest the tajin popsicle margarita!!

1st time visiting this spot and 1st time visiting this boardwalk. We were a group of three and decided to check out the oceanside dining restaurant which also has a bar, dance floor and stage with live bands. The services was very fast, when it came to food and drinks. Our waitress Madeline was very friendly and attentive. She had great energy and always had a smile, it showed she really enjoyed her job. She always checked on us making we we were ok. There's plenty of security with some being armed. Place was well maintained and clean. There was a live band with was awesome, they were called the cliffs. The over all energy here was great. I would definitely visit again and reccomend it to everyone if you're in the area. They also have outdoor seating aswell.

When I was a kid my dad would take me blue fishing on the Queen Mary and we would sometimes grab a cup of clam chowder or a fish sandwich after our trip at Spike’s fish market- which is within walking distance from Point Lobster. Now I come here, because a friend turned me onto it - but you can’t go wrong at either place for fish and shellfish to eat in or take out, already prepared or fresh as anything. At Point Lobster obviously you want their Lobster Roll; they’re known for them. On a recent trip I got some raw clams and oysters on the halves, a cup of New England (I thought it was the bowl size - it was huge) and a salad with blackened swordfish. My buddy got the lobster roll and the fried scallops. I tasted one - it was heavenly. This place can get jam-packed depending when you go, so if you time it correctly toward an off hour, you’ll have no problem with parking. BYOB if you are eating it, they have a medium sized seating area that is always nice and clean and the service has always been very attentive and efficient. One of my favorite places.

Just had to give a special shoutout to Shannon at the front. We were dining outside with our baby when a storm rolled in out of nowhere. My husband ran home to grab the car while I waited with our (very large) stroller as the wind started to pick up. We couldn’t find our waitress but Shannon noticed us.
Even though there was already a wait for indoor seating, she ran outside, told us to come in, and personally moved tables and chairs to make space for us. She had her team transfer our entire meal inside and made sure we were taken care of without hesitation.
That level of customer service is rare — we’ll absolutely be back because of it.

As a local, I love spending October in the downtown spots and today I tucked in for lobster bisque and lobster mac & cheese. My daughter gave the crab cake meal a try. After a great few hours discovering Point pleasant beach we decided to stop at Point Lobster for something to eat. At first there was no table available but we decided to wait and after 10 minutes a table was ready for us. Service was good and the food came out quickly. Absolutely love this place!! It is our go to, whether it’s date night, out with friends or with family. The food is always on point and the cocktails are fabulous. I highly recommend the dinner specials, you will never go wrong, they are always amazing. Service is top notch, from the Hostess, to the wait staff, to the bartenders, to the food runners and all the way to the Owners. Everyone is friendly, attentive and strive to make your experience an enjoyable one.

We were certain this was the perfect place to get married, with its status as an unofficial national landmark for the Northeast, its Casa Blanca by the beach feel, and the opportunity for us to return and enjoy it every summer.
On October 5th, 2024, we made that conversation official. The entire experience exceeded our wildest dreams. We had a stunning grand cocktail-style wedding and had the pleasure of working with the best event manager, Maura, who also got married at the Parker House. This made our wedding day feel like we were working with family with everyone truly invested in ensuring my wife and I had an unforgettable day.
With Maura, Lauren, and all of The Parker House staff, it was without a doubt the perfect weekend. The food, atmosphere, and attention to detail were unparalleled. We still receive rave reviews from guests about our wedding here and how refreshing the venue was. I mean, how many people get to say they had their first dance in "God's Basement"!

I had a really good time with a big group at The Parker House. It’s located just a block from the beachfront; as long as you aren’t wearing a swimsuit, you can get in. The restaurant was not so busy on a weekday, but gets quite packed on weekends in the summer. Our group shared the shrimp cocktail appetizer, which was very fresh, and for lunch I had the Pan Seared Crab Cake Sandwich with a side of Cole Slaw and lemonade. Really good! The service was excellent—the wait staff was friendly, answered all of our questions, and very attentive. A really fun experience; I recommend it!

We went on Father’s Day. We got the wings, crab bisque soup French onion, soup and cheeseburger. The crab bisque soup was very good. The French onion soup had a strange pepper flavor. The burger was just OK and the wings were fine also. The service was horrible. The bathroom had no soap which we asked the bartender to have that taken care of, and it was never taken care of. The waitress pretty much disappeared on us.I don’t recommend going there and I won’t be going back again the food as I said was just OK.
