From our early conversations to our arrival, we knew it was the right decision. Cherokee Rapids Tubing seem to be efficient and organized in their ticket sales and boarding. The driver was very informative in what to expect and how to navigate the river. The tubing lasted about 1.5-2 hours depending on stops for swimming. Parking is limited and you may have to park elsewhere with a short walk to the facility. I would recommend taking a staff or stick to help guide you as you go down the river. My wife and I (no stick) were carried to a bank and got into a rather large hornet nest. Fortunately, we were able to get away from the swarm with only 1 sting. Had we had a stick or staff, we could have avoided getting into that. But it is nature.
