I got the BBQ chicken pizza…but I had it in SC with onion rings on it and wanted it that way up here. Pizza is great for presentation, tastes great..I just wish it had a bit more sauce..it doesn’t really taste like bbq..otherwise I have no complaints.

Been to the original (these pics) and Max 4 and I can tell you the quality at both is above and beyond what you'd expect. And to open Max4 with the same quality goes to show they've got IT down pat. Part of why CT's has got the best pizza in the country. Been going to the original for 20+ years, this is my 1st burger, it was slamming, veggies fresh and crunchy. You gotta put your own condiments on it though. 1st steak n cheese there too, again excellent. Comes with grilled onions and green peppers. I asked for some mayo cause I think that's what you put on a steak n cheese, right? And that set it off. My wife had a chicken cutlet sandwich that she says only the make right.

The lady cashing me and my friend out was very rude and was talking to her coworkers and didn’t cash me out for like 5 minutes. Calamari was so overcooked, completely dry and more breading than actual calamari and no octopus. Got the chicken broccoli alfredo pizza. Barely any chicken or broccoli and no seasoning whatsoever. Never had pizza so bland in my life. The only good thing was the staff. The woman who took my order and rang me out was super pleasant to deal with. Dont know if they were having an off night but it definitely was not worth the price I paid.

Max pizza 1 Stafford Ave Bristol is pretty good. I'm still not sure if the burger was a frozen patty or not ... The waitress said it was fresh but idk.. the burger was tall with ingredients fried onion green pepper bacon lettuce tomato on a fresh bun I was happy to see it was next to a bed of fresh hot fries that were great but no salt and even the burger had no seasoning but over all everything was good. I was disappointed to see when a man came in to pick up his order of 6 pizzas and plates and containers none of the staff there offered to help him to the car or give him help with the door. Better waitresses and they will definitely make more money in my opinion.

We've gone here a handful of times. Sometimes it's really good, other times it's just ok. We always sit in the open dining area with tables because the side with the booths is pretty cramped and the booths are not in that great of shape. Today's installment in my summer-long quest brought me to Buster's Drive-In. I got the half-pound burger (two quarter-pound patties), large fries, and a chocolate shake. All was delicious. The one drawback was that they mixed my order up with someone else's, and I had to wait an extra few minutes for my meal to be prepared.

Young fella seemed a bit stand offish when I arrived, I saw the business promoted on Facebook and wanted to try the campfire dog, so I went with a friend. 2 stars for friendly service, but the food is not great and was too expensive for what it is. I could have gotten more food at Wendy's for $20. I ordered 1 large drink, a burger, a 5 PC chicken tenders, and a small fry. It was $19 and change. I stopped off on my way home from running errands. In the 6 minutes it took for me to get home, parts of the Styrofoam container some of my food was in had melted through. It was inside of a bag, and all of the contents of the bag were slimy. I tossed everything, but this is a safety issue that will hurt someone if not immediately fixed. Busters is definitely one of my go-to’s when I’m not particularly in the mood for anything. It’s close to home and I’ve never had a bad experience. The only downside in my opinion is that they are cash only but I understand. One thing I would suggest is to ask for certain items like the clam strips well done or extra fried because they come out soggy. I love their milkshakes and they have many flavors. If you are getting maple walnut or toasted almond I would suggest calling ahead because they run out of those flavors quickly.

I love this store and the workers! Except for one girl in the self checkout. She's hardly ever there she has dyed purple black hair and tattoos and I was asking her a question about my order and as I was in the middle of talking to her the guy with long hair must have returned from his break and she just walked away. I've also stupidly left my phone wallet case on the self checkout station once and the kid found it and put it aside I was so grateful. Another time months ago, I was here at like 8am and left it in the carriage in the carriage corral and I came back and the guy was collecting the carriages and had my phone saved in his jacket.
I've had nothing but great experiences here and If I could I would have applied to work here but I have had really bad anxiety and agoraphobia and I have a hard time talking to people these days. Never used to. This is just in the last 8 years.

Haven’t been here in forever due to how far it is away from my house but after seeing a review on TikTok I decided to try them again today. I’m so glad I did. The pizza is absolutely delicious, nice thin crust. Super fresh and flavorful chunky sauce and cheese. Not greasy at all! The chicken parm sandwich is one of the best I’ve had. And the guy at the front has the absolute best costumer service! He was very nice and offered all of the extras - paper plates, cheese/pepper flakes, help with the door. The large gyro, onion rings, and coleslaw was quite the meal and could easily be two meals for someone with a smaller appetite. Pita was very soft and absolutely coated in the creamy sauce which had a really nice flavor that complimented the char on the beef. Coleslaw had a nice bite, but could have used a little more pepper. Overall, Max’s is a staple in the area for a reason. Service was friendly, even just for us picking up our takeout, the cashier was happy to help. Pizza is also super consistent from here, and highly recommended if you like their style.

Not going to lie but I was surprised AND disappointed by this place. I was on a business trip and got in late so I stopped and ordered a pizza to go and a Caesar salad while I waited. That was probably the best salad I have ever had! Fresh SLICES of Parm, you could tell both the croutons and dressing were made in house! I was excited to try the pizza when I got back to the hotel...that's when the disappointment hit. It wasn't bad persay but definitely lack luster. If you've got a pizza shop in New Haven you've got a LOT of competition and this just missed. Plus the side of ranch tasted like it came out of a jar.
