As a fatigued solo traveler with some pretty poor Spanish skills, I found it really helped me to feel more at home after a long day of exploring Iquitos. When my scheduled retreat didn't go as planned, Monica welcomed me back with open arms and helped recommend fun activities for my remaining time in Iquitos.
