Our new favorite! We stopped in for oysters and came back for dinner the next night. We loved the clean, modern ambiance and chill vibe. Every dish wast delightful & delicious. Great selection of oysters, the heirloom tomatoes & stone fruit was so flavorful, the tuna & peaches came with a perfect little punch of spice, rum cake & profiterole were divine! I don’t think I’ve ever had a better meal. Easy Bistro was a last-minute reservation after we spotted their menu online, and deciding to go was easy. Our reservation was for 7:45, and although the place was packed when we arrived, the service was quick and everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful with our questions.
We started with cocktails and a dozen oysters (plus a few extras). Then we tried the squash soup—something that sounds simple but was anything but.
For our entrée, we shared the bavette steak, cooked perfectly and incredibly tender. It paired beautifully with the sunchoke grits and sweet potato side.
And of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert, so we ordered two. The profiterole was fantastic, and the crème brûlée had a slight lemony flavor with a great crunch from the sea salt flakes and pistachios on top.
From start to finish, the food kept impressing us and made for a perfect date night.

Great experience dining here. The food is excellent and very well priced. There a lot of different flavors to explore through their dishes.
They also have half off oysters during happy hour. They have a large variety which were all delicious.
The tasting menu was a very great way to sample a lot of the items. It was very filled.
They also have an excellent tea menu as well as coffee.
I personally found their mock tails to be egregiously overpriced. It's about $8 for what seemed to be about 4 oz. I would not recommend the mock tails.

I would consider public house an elevated meat and three type place which I like since we don’t have anything like that in town. We have always made reservations and get seated immediately. The staff has always been top notch as well. The bar makes a great drinks always the old fashions and they are great. For apps the pimento cheese and fried pickles are amazing but the bbq carrots and ranch are next level! I am a vegetarian so I always order the vegetable plate and everything is Fresh and good and not heavy or drenched in butter. For dessert always get the carrot cake and love it.

We had our son's Rehearsal Dinner at Public House Chattanooga on 8/15/25 and we could not have been more pleased with everything they have done for us. From the planning with the event organizer to the delicious food, wonderful timely service, set up of tables were beyond amazing. I would give 10 out of 5 stars for them I can. Excellent fried chicken, which is marinated in southern sweet tea. You get a leg, thigh and breast. Very juicy and crispy. Mac n cheese was solid, too. It's been years since I stopped here. What a treat! I enjoyed the lovely pot roast that was so tender and the sauce was rich. I enjoyed a side of beets with goat cheese and a small salad. Everything was delicious. One companion got the chicken livers with grits and hot butter sauce. The batter was too heavy so she was searching for the actual meat, but the flavor was wonderful with a kick of heat. A little more grits would have allowed her to soak up the sauce and pair with the healthy portion of chicken. My other companion enjoyed the roasted quail small plate. The inside was juivy with a crispy skin. We also ordered a special brown butter latte that was so smooth and tasty. It needed to be a little warmer, but the flavor was so good. I have to say this, maybe one of my faite restaurants in Chattanooga. The food is so delicious. I never have been one to like steak, but this place literally made me like steak. It has the perfect seasoning the perfect tenderness and everything you feel like you’re fine dining but for the prices is not horrible at all this is my favorite place to go to for occasion. The only thing that I would say that is kind of annoying as you have to reserve a while ahead we got lucky and went on a day that wasn’t busy but we sat outside and if you do sit outside, just beware it is loud with traffic and firetrucks lol. But this is one of my favorite places and I will be coming back.

Excellent place for drinks and dinner. The staff is friendly too. Ate here two nights in a row. First night we had a reservation. But arrived 45 minutes early and they happily seated us right away. First time here after enjoying a walk on the nearby trail. It was a nice relief from the late July heat. Wait time for us (party of 8).was roughly around 15 minutes, which was phenomenal, considering it was a packed house. Our server was terrific and energetic. Very tentative and checked on our party to make sure everything was to our liking.
The wait for our food wasn't horrible either. Maybe 15-20 minutes after we placed it with our server. Everything was extremely fresh and hot. Portions were very good and the prices reflected on the quality of the food. I would be glad to pay it again for the dishes we received and the service. Dessert was also exceptional. The portions for it were very generous. Overall, it was a phenomenal experience. I'm definitely going to make a stop at this place if im ever in town again.

Went to visit Chattanooga this labor day. Decided to give this place a chance. It was so nice. So beautiful. We started with the New Orleans BBQ shrimp. Absolutely delicious. Very flavorful. Then I had the Texas dip sandwich and my partner had the grilled salmon. We ended up with the Sunday ice cream last. I highly recommend this place for either a romantic time out or to have a fun get together. I could remember our servers name. He had glasses, brown hair, tall, and wore a green and purple bracelet. He was absolutely amazing. Knew the menu and suggested so many good things to us.

This was my first time actually loving a fish dish at an American restaurant! I usually don’t like cooked fish or dishes like this, but this one was amazing. Definitely the best restaurant I’ve tried in Chattanooga so far. The salad was unique. It was SO GOOOOOD. and the fried calamari was perfectly crispy. not greasy at all. I love the large patio overlooking the Tennessee River. Gorgeous views. While we waited for a table, we sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The bartenders were excellent. Very friendly and always checked on us. We had an amazing table outside and with the sun going down, the view was fabulous. I am allergic to seafood but they were able to accommodate to make sure my food was safe for me to eat. Everyone loved their dinner. It came out hot and delicious. We had the bread pudding and didn't want to stop eating it, it was outstanding. Definitely recommend if in the area to eat at.

What a great place! Appetizers were delish! Best onion rings I’ve had in a long time. Quesadillas were great and the feta garlic toast was different and yummy. My VooDoo chicken was great along with pretty darned good black beans and rice. Not crazy about the one side sauce but the voodoo sauce was spot on. Salmon was great, the Texas Dip was great , and the rotisserie chicken and broccoli was divine. All the servings were generous and the hot fudge sundae was okay(needed more fudge sauce) We will definitely go again and will try seafood. We had one person with a seafood allergy this time. First of all, I would like to thank all the staff of Whitebird for the magical night for dinner.
This restaurant is on the first floor of the Edwin Hotel right next to the Walnut Street bridge, Hunter Museum, and all the romantic spots in the art district.
With this type of setting, you know the night will be magical. Extra points for whoever came up with the idea to out see through igloo"s just outside the restaurant patio next to the bridges. Yes, you are reading that correctly. You can spend a romantic dinner in a see-through igloo with white lights and all the night sky in an intimate, darker setting. You only find two of these, so i would book in advance for this special venue.
My date and I absolutely loved the decor, atmosphere, staff, and the food.
I have a gluten allergy to Wheat, and all the staff went out of their way to make sure my night was perfect with no cross-contamination.
The owner, manager, and all the staff were top-notch for a true white glove fine dining should be.
Now to the food. I ordered the salad, thinking it would be on the smaller side. Nope, it was a large portion and amazing flavor with ingredients not used much in salads you would find at a restaurant. This was a real chef cooked/ prepared to order.
Next, we had the grilled chicken mini sliders with a sauce that was delicious to dip into. I'm not sure what it was, but wow, it made the flavors come out more.
I also got the garlic mashed potatoes. This was definitely my favorite with just the right amount of ingredients and fresh potatoes, not instant garage, like some restaurants try to pass as mashed potatoes. Nope, nothing but the best and finest quality of food, cooked to order Cordon Bleu chef.
They had a gluten free buns, so I got a grilled chicken sandwich that was delicious.
The evening was nothing less but magical with the sunset going down the stung lights in the igloo. Dinner was just perfect and a nice walk on the bridges to in the evening.
I would highly recommend this restaurant and experience for your next romantic dinner date.

Beautiful Spot for Brunch – But Be Ready to Wait
White Birds is an absolutely stunning restaurant! My family and I chose it for our Easter brunch, and the ambiance did not disappoint—elegant decor, classy atmosphere, and fresh flowers on every table made it feel really special.
However, I was surprised by how long the service took, especially since the restaurant was nearly empty. We waited about 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order, and I eventually had to ask another server for help. Our assigned waiter wasn’t very attentive, which was disappointing.
That said, the food was wonderful! I had the peach crêpes, and they were fantabulous. Every dish at our table was well-prepared and beautifully presented.
Overall, it’s a gorgeous location with great food—just be prepared for slower service. Hopefully they can improve on that, because everything else was lovely.

I’ve only visited Whitebird for breakfast, but each experience has been wonderful! The prices are very fair, and you’re able to get beautiful, high quality food at a price that is affordable. There are several other spots around the city that have synonymous prices, but Whitebird’s quality and creativity is on a different level. The dishes I’ve ordered have always been well balanced between flavors, filling portions, and beautifully plated. I would most definitely recommend ordering something to be shared at your table as well, as those dishes are typically my favorite. I did not get a photo, but the ricotta and stone fruit tartine was incredible. Thank you for making great eating in Chattanooga feasible for many!

We had a really nice brunch here. Had the biscuits with sorghum butter, jam and apple butter. One person got the Bennie I believe, a Benedict egg on a fried green tomato. The Belgium waffle with whiskey infused banana foster and spicy chocolate was AMAZING.
I have high standards for brunch places and I feel like Chatt is kind of all over the place tryin to find a good one. They delivered here. And the atmosphere was very nice inside the Edwin hotel. Great place for any occasion. Service was great too. Only hiccup was the reservations through the app - they claimed they didn't have us down when I had a confirmation text saying we booked online...and their phone line doesn't give you options to really make a reservation that way.

The food and service are on point. The place is quaint and has a Chattanooga feel which added to the experience. I had the catfish dinner with collards, fried okra and bush puppies. So I've been a foodie for years and my sister is like you should do videos which I have not yet. I started on TripAdvisor and this platform and Yelp. I saw the back story about this restaurant on line and said that I must try this delicious fish. My sister visited from Nashville Tennessee and this place is on the way to Atlanta GA. I got mom a 3 piece Perch plate and sis a 3 piece whiting plate. I got a 3 piece Perch plate and a 10; piece whiting fish plate fish only. I took a picture of my Perch plate and I put the whiting fish plate in the fridge. The hot sauce and tartar sauce compliment the fish. Delicious and crispy if they have a location down here it would be game over for some places ha lol. The whiting fish pieces are big not small at all. Whiting always have bones here and there not Perch. I grew up eating whiting and perch fish only in Savannah GA..If you are ever in the area pull up and support! I ate here on 9/11/2025.

We found this place by looking on-line for a Fish Restaurant. We arrived and it's kinda a hole in the wall. Group of 7 (3 kids) were seated immediately. Loved reading the story behind this place.
We got our orders in quicky, but it took almost 30 minutes to get our food. As I was trying to finish my meal at 7:30pml, the staff started putting up chairs and vacuuming in preparation for closing. Needless to say, I didn't finish eating, and took food home.
Two of us enjoyed the fried catfish and it was excellent. One had the fried perch and mentioned it had too much breading. All the kids had fried shrimp and seemed to enjoy it.
If you have a dairy allergy, you will be limited what you can eat here. My wife ended up ordering a non-fried perch sandwich. All of the entree's come with 2 sides and a slice of bread or hush puppies.
I love fried catfish, so I was happy here except the slow delivery of our food.

Wow, great find while in Chattanooga. Asked some locals what the best restaurant was and multiple people said this place. It has the food, service and atmosphere of a top tier restaurant but it’s so inexpensive. I would eat here every night if I lived here. I was solo so just went to the bar, got full table style service with amazing bread, the girl at the bar was wonderful and made an excellent beer recommendation. Oh my favorite part about the restaurant itself was the fact that it has one of the nicest parking lots you will ever see.

Great overall experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent but there just wasn’t anything that was over the top.
We had the crab cakes and the scallops for a first course. They both were smaller than expected but very good. I like my crab cakes with a little more crust and a little larger. However they were very good.
We also had the potato leek soup and it was excellent as well. Really enjoyed it. For our main dish, my wife and I had the Halibut. Others at our table had the Bison ribeye and beef filet. Another situation where everything was great. Same with desserts, all excellent but tour probably not going to tell people how awesome they were.
The atmosphere and service were top tier and I would definitely recommend this place. You WON’T have a bad meal here. It was worth the money and everyone really enjoyed it.

i loved the atmosphere of this cozy and welcoming restaurant! the wait was kind of terrible, i'd estimate it was about 30+ minutes on a friday at 11 am. i didn't mind because i was hungry, but the line was going out the door! we finally got a place at a table with a couple who didn't mind us joining the table, and from there the food came out quickly and the service was great.
i came to this place specifically because i heard they had a vegan option, that being the tofu hash. i liked that they had an option that i could eat and the hash was well-seasoned and packed with many vegetables.
while i was only in town for the tourist-y things in the chattanooga area, i had a great time at the restaurant and would stop by again if i was around. definitely recommend!

We ordered a Mediterranean frittata with grits and crispy potatoes. The frittata was great and super full of veggies and cheese. I did not enjoy the grits at all. We also ordered a special with egg and coffee bacon on a jalapeño bun. It was ok. Overall we just thought the food was mediocre. I left still hungry which is never a goal.

We were panicking our last day to find a restaurant to go to, the one I had wanted fell through. We found this one and saw MULTIPLE gluten free options and decided to give it a go. We will be back!!!! Our server, Nina (I believe), was so fabulous and funny and super knowledgeable about the menu and my dietary restriction. I was able to have a hash scramble with potatoes, tofu, a ton of veggies, a cheddar biscuit (!!) And a cinnamon roll (!!!!!!!) That cinnamon roll was life changing. I'm still thinking about it. My partner got the French toast and jalapeño bacon with some eggs and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal too. The atmosphere was cute, they had these community tables and a couple single party tables. We have to also mention the incredible other staff members, including the hysterical jacked guy that was serving tables in a tank top, seriously as servers we loved his vibe, and the sweet busser, hostess, and food runner. The impact this place left on our hearts (and stomachs) means we will absolutely be back next vacation... if not sooner!

We had the absolute best meal there last night. Our server,.Cutter was the best. He shared about the menu and offered suggestions about the entrees and drinks. Our food was delicious and served in a timely fashion. Cutter had a huge party to also attend to but he made sure to continue checking on us as well.
We also enjoyed watching Bahama Alfred has he danced and shucked oysters. The other staff were kind and considerate. This is definitely a return visit as there were so many options we wanted to try.
So happy we had Cutter as our server and we will definitely request him in yhe future. He truly made our dining experience awesome.

My wife and I came to STIR last Thursday before a show at the Comedy Catch.
I had the Crispy Mahi Bowl, and she had the Chicken Chop Salad. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. She was very happy with her wine selection, and the Austin Mule was absolutely the best Moscow Mule I’ve ever had. And our waitress Jessica was fantastic.
We’re coming back for another comedy show in September, and we will DEFINITELY be eating at STIR again.

Blown away by Stir. Atmosphere, food, service, they nailed it. Our waiter was kind and helpful, helped us pick out the most popular things on the menu. We ended up getting oysters, a garden chicken, and a chicken picotta as well as the crème brûlée 😍 all of it was drool-worthy.
The atmosphere was cool, very industrial modern with unfinished accents. They had all kinds of seats like high tops, regular tables, booths, bar seats. We didn’t have to wait more than 20 minutes for our table so not bad at all. Make sure you pay for your parking !!

We tried Stir for brunch and overall had a great experience! The chicken and waffles absolutely slap—crispy, flavorful, and definitely the star of the show. The crab and shrimp eggs Benedict with potatoes was delicious, though the dish could’ve used a bit more seasoning, especially on the potatoes and a touch of salt on the eggs. The deviled egg flight was a miss for us—lacked flavor and not something we’d order again.

We had a post-wedding dinner for two at STIR mid-day on a Sunday to find plenty of seating with the restaurant about half full. I selected the Tuna Poke Bowl with citrus soy-marinated tuna, rice cake, sliced kale, avocado, and other goodies. Our server, Teresa, brought over a special dipping sauce to add to the bowl. Everything was fresh, the tuna was a good portion for the money and the rice cake had an amazing flavor. Overall a good meal for a reasonable price right next to the old train station. Beautifully decorated and friendly service. On the other hand, the only thing that impressed us was the cheesy grits. Between the hamburger and the roast beef sandwich there was not anything to write home about. My son got the sliders, they had good flavor but the bread was super soggy.

The best Cajun food. I had the Crawfish Etouffee and my husband had the southern comfort which was both DELICIOUS!! The service was top notch. We had to wait a little bit for our food (which we didn't mind) the chef came out and apologized for the wait and told us the food will be right out. The day I visited the restaurant, It was closed for a property event. Forcing me and my wife to go to a restaurant of lesser quality. Not cool guys 😢
However, once we made it back to Blue Orleans, sat down and, eat there was a flavor explosion in every bite. Maybe you have to go to Bourbon Street to get equally for better cajun food, but in Chattanooga, Blue Orleans is the spot.
Our server was friendly and professionally and quickly build a rapport with me and my wife. The music was pleasant not loud.
My wife and I enjoyed every bit of what Blue Orleans offered. You cannot go wrong by choosing to dine at this restaurant.

I had the a trio which consisted of chicken and sausage gumbo, chicken and sausage jambalaya and red beans and rice. I was smiling the whole time I was eating. Beyond the amazing food the atmosphere was pleasant and classy. The staff outstanding right down to Chef who always had a smile. One of the best things that I like about this restaurant is everything tasted fresh. All of the food that I had was made from scratch. The fries are so good and come out hot and crisp. You have to have the beignet the dessert these were amazing. They definitely had a ton of confectioner sugar and it made it taste so good we could dip the pastry in the sugar it was amazing. My girl Donna and I drove down from Cleveland, Tennessee on Tuesday one evening a day ago. She had been wanting to go to this restaurant for months as she’s from Louisiana and is a true Cajun beauty. Food was incredible! The gumbo is excellent with a favorable roux. They had the best shrimp and grits that I’ve ever had. The deserts were fantastic, especially the bread pudding. I’m from Chicago and being here in Chatt for 4 years, you miss some food from back home. The Chicago style hot dog and beef! I had these 2 delivered as traffic downtown was not something I felt like dealing with (lol). Delivery was fast and food hot.
The hot dog- OMG! So good and hit the spot.

On our trip to Chattanooga, TN, we decided not to spend a lot on food and spend more in bars and attractions. So, we decided to visit this sandwich shop that looks original and different from any other sandwich shop.
Location: The location is perfect, in the heart of the city. Nice and clean area.
Parking: You don't need to worry about this. You can park on the street and pay at a parking meter or you can park in any of the republic parking around the area.
Service: There is no table service, you just order at the cashier and wait for your food. It took about 20 minutes for our order to be ready. It's an inexcusably long wait time for a sandwich.
Food quality: The sandwiches are fresh, large, and delicious, but there is nothing authentic or special about them. I don't see any difference between this place and any other sandwich place like Jimmy John's or Jersey Mike's Subs. The hoagies just taste like any other type of typical deli sandwiches. We got The OG (Turkey, Swiss, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Pickle, Mayo + Mustard, Oregano, Salt & Pepper) and Hella Ham and Hella Chedda (Hella Ham, Hella Chedda, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Pickle, Oregano, Mayo + Mustard, Salt & Pepper).

My husband and I ordered the OG and Grinder Hoagie and it was delicious! It was so messy though so make sure you grab lots of napkins. We also ordered the ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS. I liked the parmesan and chili flakes but I thought there was a little too much oil and the bottom chips were soggy. Next time I'll order the oil on the side.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with family. With reservations, we were promptly seated at a table with an entertaining view of folks exploring downtown Chattanooga. Service was professional, friendly, and attentive (thank you, Kenzi); courses were well timed and not rushed/stacked at the table. We were dressed casually, and did not feel out of place.
All dishes were excellently prepared, perfectly seasoned, cooked as ordered, and delicious. Save room for dessert...they are fabulous!

I wish I could say we enjoyed our time here but the only thing redeeming about specific visit was our server, Bryson.
The restaurant is lovely when you walk in. I would not say either hostesses was particularly nice but not exactly rude either. Bryson our server was just a really nice and welcoming individual. He gets 5 stars from us. We were the last reservation of the evening on a Sunday. This may be the reason our food experience was not the best.
Lobster bisque was more like a creamy soup of a hint of flavor of seafood. I detected no lobster pieces but some places, like this don’t have any, but I usually can taste the lobster. It tasted like a bowl of cream. I got the Oscar filet and I cut into the steak and I ate one bite and it was like eating old meat (I ordered medium rare). Very dry and chewy and the smell was very off. Everyone at the table agreed it was definitely off. The crab cake was very watery inside and the mashed potatoes were so runny like when you put way too much milk in. One bite of everything and I was turned off from eating completely.
My husband’s and son’s delmoninco steaks were not the best but better than mine and were edible. They ate theirs but they said they would never go back for their steaks. Baked potato was good. The desserts are pretty decent. Crème brûlée I would recommend. I was pretty bummed out that visiting Chattanooga for the first time this was the experience.
Side note: keeping salt and pepper shakers on the cloth seat at the table across from us for over 20 minutes till we asked the hostess to maybe remove them and wipe them off since people put their butts there is a little gross. The hostess acted like she didn’t get why that would be maybe gross and the need to clean them.

I had the half rack of ribs with coleslaw and fries, and everything was flavorful and satisfying. I started with the Guava Cider, which had a great flavor, and then enjoyed The Jethro cocktail, which was just as tasty.

Spent the day walking the neighborhood getting our drink on and we got hungry.
We came to Feed to get fed and Anya took great care of us. It was busy so we were seated outside. It is a surprisingly quiet city and the weather was beautiful so the patio was fine.
Meatball app was delicious and the beer selection was great with a bunch of local beers on tap and in cans.
Big, diverse menu with options for just about every taste. My buddy got a killer French Dip and I got Short Rib Pit Roast. Great whipped potatoes with glazed carrots and tobacco onions. Cleaned the plate, i did.
Desert was a brownie sundae that was gooey and rich and a great end to a meal.

Fantastic location with a super cool hybrid open air environment and outdoor or indoor seating. Excellent food, I particularly recommend the hummus. Portions on mains could be a little larger but adequate.
Excellent beer selection however the glassware was somewhat dirty, with lots of bubbles appearing in the glass of every beer we were served. Glassware washing procedures should be looked at.
One other quirk, in the bar area a lot of the TV's backlights are failing making the TV's hard to see.
Service was adequate and the food came out quickly. We sat at the bar and this is what I'd recommend if you want fast service here.

Scotty’s on the River is a Chattanooga gem! We started with the creamy mushroom appetizer and the spinach dip with flatbread — and wow… absolutely AMAZING. I could’ve made a meal just out of those! The drink menu was super fun and creative, and with the beautiful river views from the outdoor patio, it made the whole evening feel perfect.
We were seated right away (no wait, plenty of tables) and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The whole vibe is laid-back but still polished, which I loved.
If you’re in Chattanooga, definitely put Scotty’s on your list — you won’t regret it. 🙌

We had a late dinner around 9 PM, and there were still quite a lot of people eating. We wanted to sit at the table near the river view, but the waitress didn’t allow us, saying that area had no server.
The bisquick and hush puppies were a bit salty, and the meal portions were quite small. The fried calamari was really good — tasty and not chewy at all, we loved it! The salmon was slightly overcooked and too dry, while the fish and chips were just average.
Overall, the atmosphere was nice and cozy, even though we couldn’t sit by the river. The service was okay — not too fast but friendly. It’s a decent place for a casual dinner, especially if you’re in the area.

I was recommended to drive here from nashville based on a recommendation from a friend that lives in Chattanooga. I wasn't disappointed!
The crab stuffed mushrooms were REALLY good. The garden salad was delicious, too. I didn't have much room to finish my Fish and Grits, but I didn't want to stop eating.
I think this is a must-stop, especially if you want tasty food and a gorgeous view of the Tennessee River.

This place is a gem. The staff were amazing and the ambience was fantastic. We were there around sunset which was the perfect time. The food was some of the best we have had since moving to Tennessee. The drinks were on point and we will definitely be going here every time we are in town. We waited about 30 minutes for a table and it was so worth it we would have waited longer.

Stopped in for late lunch/early dinner after the riverboat tour. Oysters special on Thursday. We got a dozen mixed and they were excellent! Bacon cheeseburger for my entree prepared perfectly. Delicious basket of hush puppies and cornbread. Cocktails were wonderful. Highly recommend.

Where to start? Parking...it is in downtown Chattanooga so expected to pay to park. However on their lot it is $4 something for 15min and your next choice is a 3 hr limit at $7.63. The prices and hours just increase from there. It was not busy for lunch but I didnt think they would appreciate me sitting at the table for 2 hrs to get my parking monies worth. Ended up walking along the river to burn up some time. My wife went in to get a table while I sorted out the parking. They have a really nice deck that faces the river but didnt seem to eager to seat my wife there. There were plenty of people and room for more but the hostess went to talk to someone twice before finally seating us with a water overlook. Now the food. It is very pricy. My wife had the Salmon and 5 pieces of asparagus. I ordered the cheeseburger that apparently came with bacon. She said her food was ehh. My burger was so dry I thought I was eating flavored dirt. There was zero moisture in that beef patty. I tried coating the meat with ketchup and mayonnaise to give it some moisture and we both watched as the patty absorbed it like a sponge. This still did nothing for the burger. I pulled the bacon off and left half of the burger piled on the plate like a Saharan sand dune. Our total bill for Salmon, asparagus, compressed dust with bacon cheese tomato, fries and two waters was over $39. Maybe it was an off day. For me this establishment falls under the been there done that probably won't go back. Oh and did I mention the wonderful smell coming across the river from Moccasin Bend Waste Treatetment. Lovely lunch....

We decided to try Thanksgiving dinner here and it was wonderful. The restaurant itself is lovely and right inside of The Read House Hotel’s gorgeous lobby. Their host, Mia, was so welcoming and sweet. She sat us immediately for our reservation. Our server, Paul, was amazing. He timed our food out well and was very attentive through our entire visit. What an absolute GEM of a restaurant. Stayed at the Read House 4 nights + decided to eat there our first night where we met our waiter Jeffery G. He was friendly, attentive + extremely knowledgeable on the menu. We had the mussels, lobster bisque, my husband the dry aged steak + I had the lobster ravioli + a few smoked old fashioned’s. EVERYTHING was delicious so much so that we ended up here every night. Our last night we had Jeffery serving us again, the food, the service, the hospitality was above 5 stars consistently. We came all the way from Georgia to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday in Chattanooga, and this place did not disappoint! The service was amazing from start to finish. The ribeye steak was incredibly juicy and full of flavor, and my boyfriend’s dry-aged ribeye with the mushroom Diane… ooooo my goodness, absolutely delicious! The lobster bisque was also super yummy. We were so impressed with Bridgemans Chophouse! Upscale restaurants are typically not our thing but our waiter Eric made us feel at home. He was so welcoming and kind and explained the menu thoroughly. We went all out and ordered the Tomahawk steak, Filet mignon, Lobster tail along with sides of the steak house mushroom, street corn and truffle mac and cheese!! We topped it off with the Crème Brûlée and Strawberry Crème cake. Everything we had was so amazing, thank you Eric and the staff for making our night out go so well!

Nice ambience. Started meal with seafood tower which was worth the shrimp and lobster tails. The oysters were fresh but on smaller side and had a bit of shell but still fresh and good tasting. The crab salad on the top was tasty meat wise but seemed to be a mayo base if that is a turn off. The star was surprisingly the lobster tail with its taste and texture. The tartar was good but again a creamy mayo base- so depending on preference. The steaks were delicious, herby, and juicy. The lobster ravioli had pieces of meat throughout well worth the price. Derek was patient with my niece and daughter who wanted to small talk him to death. He amused them quite a bit. He went above and beyond to humor them and answer their questions about the hotel. We had a wonderful dinner at Bridgeman’s Chophouse. Our server, Eugene, was fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and made the evening feel special. The dry aged ribeye and center cut filet were both cooked perfectly and full of flavor, probably some of the best steaks we’ve ever had. The French onion soup and lobster bisque were also excellent, rich and well-balanced. Cocktails were made with precision and came out perfect every time.

The place is clean, well lit, spacious and comfortable. Definitely a stop for family, friends and foodies. My Husband and I celebrated our 29th Wedding Anniversary. The food and service was Amazing!! For Appetizers I ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms with Crabmeat and my husband ordered the Calamari. They were both so Delicious. For the Main Course I ordered the 16 oz. Ribeye, Medium-Rare. It was so tender and juicy. For the side I had the Grilled Asparagus with Hollandaise Sauce. My husband ordered the Lamb Chops done Medium-Well, which was so flavorful and tender. For his side, he had the Lyonnaise Potatoes which had caramelized onions and fresh thyme. The food was really delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. Bryson was our server and took good care of us. My husband and I shared the Creme Brulee' with fresh berries which Bryson brought with a lit candle and Happy Anniversary was written in chocolate. I adore this Ruth’s Chris for many reasons - literally have been here over 20 times which I mention because it is in a different state than my house and I’ve only been to the one by my house in Texas one time. Yeah Chat is that good.
Why is it that good? Their food is on point for sure. What grabs me though is the people - I’ve been treated well for sure but I’ve also seen the staff treat everyone that walks in with respect and service. Some Ruth’s Chris are stand alone restaurants with a valet but this one is attached to a hotel with an extremely varied clientele. People wander in wearing shorts, a t shirt and flip flops but the staff treats them the same as anyone else.

I am not one to usually leave negative reviews, let alone include detailed text, but my efforts to treat my mother to a nice dinner were sadly disappointing.
We were staying at the Embassy Suites and decided to place a to-go order one evening. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
I ordered a steak cooked medium, but as you can see in the attached photo, it was severely undercooked — it looked as though it had been quickly seared on the outside and placed straight into the to-go container.
We also ordered bread and asparagus, both of which lacked any seasoning or flavor. The only part of the meal that was remotely enjoyable was the baked potato.
I reached out to the restaurant by phone and followed the instructions on my emailed receipt to request contact, but never received a response. It’s unfortunate that the poor quality of the food was matched by a lack of customer service.
I would recommend exploring one of the many nearby restaurants across the street instead.

Had a wonderful dinner at Il Primo on a Saturday evening. We were lucky and got in around 5:15pm right before an influx of other diners began pouring in.
The food was absolutely delicious and our server Jacob was friendly and great throughout our entire experience. While I didn't have any complaints on the entrees nor the portions, I feel like was the real star of the meal was the arancini telefono which we ordered as our starter.
While the meal was a bit pricier than I expected it to be, I feel like it was worth it for the quality of the food and service. I think Il Primo is a great place for a date night and will definitely be coming back.

Both were pleasant and very professional. All the plates were phenomenal. (Everyone shared bites because it was all so damn tasty). The lasagna is on another level. Highly recommend IlPrimo to anyone looking for FRESH Italian eating!

I wanted to try this restaurant today, and arrived at 4 PM. The host to let me know that they don’t serve food until 5 PM. I left thinking nothing of it and deciding just to try another day. However, someone (who I think is a manager) came out to the parking lot and asked what I was trying to order. He worked really hard to see if there was any way to accommodate me. Got here for dinner around 7pm and did not know what to expect, but to my surprise this was a very delightful experience. There isn't a whole lot to the food menu and I chose to get the salmon which was great. The drink menu had a ton more options I tried a cannabis infused water and it was decent tasting and left with a good buzz.
The best part are the performances which just so happen to be the waiters, waitresses, and staff. Our server went from handing us our drinks one minute to rocking a sparkling jacket spinning in a circle sing "Michael jackson". The performances were constant and guests could even request a song and perform solo, with a partner or with the staff if they chose to. The performances were my favorite part and I could easily see this being the perfect venue for family celebration or workplace team outings.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience and will be back in the future.

I have loved catfish since I was a kid and it is hard to find really good old fashioned catfish that has the correct cornmeal breading and Uncle Larry's does it perfectly! I love this place because it has the bakery beside it and you can order from both menus!
They have outdoor seating + dog friendly.
They have chicken options, veggie options, and even rotating specials that aren't on the menu.
As far as the food, everything we have ordered has been phenomenal. Their sandwiches for dinner or lunch are unique but very tasty! The prices are very reasonable! I love their beer cocktails - recently tried the ambrosia and it was sooo good.
Every time I visit the service is consistently amazing! The food is always served at the right temperature, too! I am so grateful this place exists in the area!

I randomly discovered this hotel bar late one night as I was walking along in downtown Chattanooga and noticed their sign. On walking in I discovered this was quite an interesting and eclectic spot for an adult beverage. They do have a very interesting selection of beverages and the patrons were even more interesting than the beverages. You get excellent service here along with the fantastic ambiance. This is a very unique and fascinating spot in Chattanooga to investigate as part of your adventures in the downtown area. Overall it is certainly one of the more unique places I have visited in the Chattanooga area.

Went here for the first time about a year ago, and now Matilda's is a must-stop. Every time I visit Chattanooga. It is the only bar that has been able to craft the very specific vibe. That is exactly what I'm looking for, which is a low lit, chill, quiet and welcoming bar with excellent bartenders who provide great conversation. Whether you're there alone or with a group, I love this place. The custom drinks are fantastic and creative, but their classics are just as well crafted. I couldn't recommend going here highly enough.

Matilda Midnight was truly a vibe and I couldn’t recommend it enough. My husband and I went on a Sunday night and it wasn’t very busy. Which was completely fine with us. The bartender was great and he made us delicious and delightful cocktails. Since it was my birthday he even made me a very tasty shot that went with the drink I was was having at the time. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. What an unexpected surprise tucked away in a cute little Chattanooga hotel! Immediately upon arriving at the hotel, the service was incredible, from the concierge at the door, to the bar staff, it made me seriously regret not staying at the hotel itself. But to the bar itself, also incredible. We were told after sitting down that they had just rolled out a new menu, and I can't speak for the atmosphere and presentation of previous menus, but this one was incredible. Astrology themed and printed on a beautiful card (we wanted to steal one, but we didn't) the menu sets the tone for the incredibly unique drinks it describes. The cocktails were beautiful and delicious. And while the low light in the bar doesn't lend to the best photo ops, it does promote enjoying the moment and you can grab some great selfies in your cute outfit in the hotel lobby which is sunlit and decorated in a great mid-century modern vibe. Cue the Mad Men theme. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

The Matilda Midnight is a beautiful lounge with fantastic service from friendly, attentive staff and bartenders. The service is great, and the cocktails are wonderful. There are tapas and small plates to share as well. This has intimate seating so groups may be hard to seat. There are separate lounges as well. We loved the drinks, staff and location.
