There's also a nice if somewhat small indoor skate park that you can use for a very reasonable price. You can also take a skateboarding lesson (two days a week). He has an infectious passion for the history of skateboarding and I bet he could tell you a story about every piece in the museum. If youre interested, Todd describes the evolution of board design, and shares personal stories of the skateboarding legends (many who came and skated at his previous location, Skate Lab.) Not surprisingly, news of this amazing museum and skate park has gotten out to those who love the sport, and he has people come visit his museum from all around the world. (원문) This place was hands down a true hidden gem, right here in Simi Valley. The owner and human library of all facts skate-related, Todd, was so unbelievably attentive and knowledgeable. His passion for the skate community radiated throughout his tour of the museum. We couldn’t believe this was by donation only because we really had a great time taking in all of the awesome antique boards, art, memorabilia, and new age decks. The current displays of an homage to women skaters was awesome, the vast amount of boards new and old was impressive, and the abundance of history was surprising. Parents, this is a great spot to take the kids for a fun and immersive history lesson and they even offer skate lessons for an amazing price. We were so pleasantly surprised and can’t wait to go back and see more, as Todd let us know the display themes change, which is a great reason for another future visit. On the Tuesday evening we went, there was plenty of parking. The softball fields were all locked up. My guess is of you sont have a permit your not supposed to use the fields. Each field had shaded bleachers on each side of the field. Well maintained and clean. Would recommend this facility.
