Amazing aquarium. Beautiful tanks, informative talks, and tons of interactive exhibits. Staff were friendly and engaged very easily with children. Size and layout of aquarium made it easy to navigate. Clean restrooms and there is a stall designating a manual flush toilet. Extremely helpful if you have a child terrified of an automatic flush. There is also a nursing room and quiet corner area provided if needed. Great afternoon and glad our family decided to visit.

Went to this aquarium for the first time on a Tuesday morning around 10am, not very busy. Parking in the garage was easy and cheap. The design and layout of the building was great.
Animals all look well taken care of. My favorite was the turtle health area where we had fun with the interactive displays with xrays etc to look at.
Kid areas looked fun, though my kids are too old for that sort of thing. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was friendly. The outdoor areas of the aquarium were very nice. I like the sea turtles, otters and bald eagle the best. We also got to see an opossum running in a giant hamster wheel, which was fun to watch!
We purchased a stuffed otter in the gift shop, its love one of the sweatshirts but could not justify paying $75 for it. I thought it should have been cheaper then that.
It took me and my teens about 1 hour to go through the whole aquarium. Touch tanks were nice and large. I loved the hand wash stations (I included a picture of them), they were very unique, I've never seen them before and was impressed!
Worth a visit especially if you have younger kids.

The South Carolina Aquarium is small but mighty! They have a beautiful selection of fish and the staff is so kind and knowledgeable. Their conservation efforts are so important, and supporting them is worth it. This is an awesome place for adults and littles alike! It’s clean, accessible, and a great place to learn about our finned friends. I hope Milkweed (the beautiful turtle pictured) feels better and gets to go home soon!

Nice aquarium! Plenty to do. Hands on stuff is really cool, and touching stations are included in admission, which is very nice. Shout out to the coolest hand washing stations I have ever seen! They have several different types and sizes of exhibits. My son loved seeing the divers in the big tank. The views outside are amazing. You can also get snacks at the snack bar, and they have a sizable gift shop. The parking garage is really close and only $5. As bonus, if the dude is selling ice pops on the way back to the garage, get one!

This place has it all!! First of all I've visited twice so far and each time my family was treated very well. My son is handicapped and they were able to accommodate our seating for him.
The food is soooo good!! My son has had the cowboy burger and sweet potato fries each time we came. He gorges himself until he can't eat another bite. (He's 4) I got the brisket and smoked wings. Both are very good but I've got to say the brisket is DeEeEe- licoius!! I'm not normally a Brisket person but theres something about this that is just (Italian miss)! The collard greens are very good as well.
As we were in our way out another group of women was suggesting to try the coconut cake next time. They mentioned it was so big all 3 of them are off of it and it was the best they have had- just putting that here for someone wanting to know what to get for desert.
Oh and the view.... Amazing! I will say that if you come in the evening during sunset the upstairs dining area gets pretty warm from the sun beaming through the windows. (Hopefully they can add some fans at some point)
We're going to be in the area for a few more days and will definitely be back!!!

The special cocktail 🍹, the seafood appetizer and meals were all A+. Can't say enough about the place and there is plenty of room out on the deck to set. The food was good. The trashcan nachos were a great presentation. The chips do tend to get soggy pretty quick. A suggestion would be to maybe have a little bit of the chips on the outside the can to have some solid chips. The brussel sprouts were my hands down favorite. The fried green tomatoes were well done & the sauce was a wonderful balance. The shrimp were perfectly cooked & the sauce had a great balance of spicy and sweet.

Greatly enjoyed the ferry ride to and from the island, and of couse exploringthe island itself. It is a bit pricy but one has to take the ferry and historic site maintenance into account. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and had a sense of humor. Lots of cool history to see on the island itself,as well as seabirds and some cargo shipping going by. Some thought provoking exhibits in the visitor center as well. A nice, informative, relaxing excursion all round.

Well worth it. The guides were very passionate about history and getting out on the water to see the fort and surrounding islands was super cool! Price was right. We also saw dolphins on our journey. There is no bathroom on the fort so make sure you use it while on the ferry. Also a museum and gift shop.

Life savers! I have a chronic condition and it really flared up where I had five days of not being able to eat and very sick. I was depleated of vitamins and nutrients. No way could I drive so I choose to do a mobile/house call drip.
I called the AM and they had a nurse scheduled for 12pm: Jennifer Pedersen, an experienced ER nurse.
During my time with Jennifer’s she was so friendly, comforting and just fun to hang with but also gave space as well. She is the definition of a medical professional.
At the end of my session I felt 1000% recharged from the drip and Jennifer lifted my spirits immensely from her caring “couch-side” manor.

I normally don’t leave reviews but it was truly a great experience and I wanted to share. As someone who has experienced a chronic illness for a majority of my life this is the best environment I’ve ever been able to receive treatment in. They take into account what you need and design a treatment plan for you, the rooms where you receive the IV are cozy and comfortable, I felt very safe and taken care of. Regardless of the reason you may be getting an IV I recommend getting it done here because I left feeling seen and feeling better mentally and physically. Lauren is especially really amazing with her IV placing!

For the last 48 hours, I've been as sick as I've ever been. Nothing has stayed down and I flat out felt hopeless. I knew I was unable to leave the house so on a last whim I got online and googled local IV services that were mobile. Renew was so quick to respond and They were prompt in getting me the care I needed. From the time I messaged them they had a nurse at my house within 45 mins. I could not be more thankful. I had the best massage of my life this morning and have been floating through my day ever since. My husband and I enjoyed a 90 minute couples massage, with a foot salt scrub and Jo (my therapist) and Dave (my husband's) were EXCEPTIONAL. I would have appreciated guidance and a bit more of an introduction to the practices of such a large space but maybe I am too unfamiliar with this type of setting and missed the opportunity to ask questions.

I've been to this yoga studio a small handful of times during work trips to Charleston, and enjoyed the quality of the classes (both Yin Vin and Vinyasa). The teachers are experienced and took time into planning their classes. My only qualm would be that classes could be longer, 45 minutes isn't long enough to do a flow and a long enough svasana.

We had a great trip with Jim! We were able to fish for many species of fish. We started out fishing for redfish and had a fish on the line within minutes of starting to fish. We then went offshore and found albacore tuna which were feeding on bait. We were able to catch several tuna. These were the most fun to catch. They were like a Ferrari speeding away. We ending the trip by bottom fishing a wreck and caught black sea bass, weak fish, and bluefish. It was a great trip. Jim was very professional.
