Italian restaurant
Deli
Located in Exmouth, The BBQ Father & Deli offers a delightful fusion of classic Italian dishes and mouthwatering barbecue options. This local favorite is known for its juicy smoked meats, wood-fired pizzas, flavorful pasta dishes, and homemade gelato. The menu features a wide selection of BBQ classics such as smoked beef brisket, salmon steak, chicken parmigiana, and smoked veal ribs.
We went out here for dinner with friends and they did not disappoint . It was busy and the ladies were quick to find us our table. Service was excellent , food was even better and lots of it . Brisket was melting in our mouth , I had the chicken parmi and it was delicious too . Even had leftovers for lunch next day . Would definitely recommend BBQ Father . Will be back one day this year .

Excellent service! The waitress who served us was such a sweet person! Friendly and attentive! WONDERFUL food! Pasta cooked to perfection and a very juicy sauce! Shrimp and squid perfectly cooked and really tasty!

Absolutely delicious and authentic homemade Italian that you could tell was made with love. We stayed in Exmouth for 6 nights and dined here for 2 night. The size of the meals are generous, you won’t go home hungry and they are great value for money. The staff are fast, friendly and efficient too. The meal service was timely and beautiful all round. Thank you all for 2 memorable evenings for the 6 of us. Cheers blissimo

I don't know if they were having a really bad day or if the food is always at this standard. However we have never eaten such a tasteless, bland pizza ever. The tomato sauce definitely tastes like tomato paste straight out of a bought jar. The ham was bland and pineapple straight from a can.
Trish W — Google review
Orderd the sphaghetti carbonara, which I have every time I visit Exmouth. This year it was terrible the spaghetti was very rubbery and it had diced packet bacon, which I never seen in it before as it is normally the long thin strips. Was not able to finish this year very dissapointed, though the wait staff as usual were excellent.
Stacey F — Google review
I came to eat here for dinner and had an amazing experience dining at the BBQ Father. We ordered two pizzas, two pastas, one rib and one brisket. All this food fed well for a group of 6 adults with leftovers. I would highly recommend ordering the brisket and at least a pizza as their brisket is extremely soft and their pizzas are very generous in size. The service was amazing as the staff were very kind and welcoming despite it being busy. The only thing that I would comment/criticise is the interior, it could maybe use some decorating to suit the atmosphere or a little renovation but other than that everything was amazing 👍
Jasper T — Google review
Not a great meal. Two seafood spaghettis, one brisket and a serving of garlic bread. Spaghetti was lacking flavour and unfortunately no fish in either serving. Serving size was quite large though. The brisket was quite dry. Thankfully able to use the fat from the other parts to moisten the flat. Barbecue sauce on the meat was awesome but unfortunately the dryness made it hard to enjoy the last three mouthfuls of the brisket. Chips and coleslaw were reasonable. $120 for three meals and a garlic bread you expect a little more flavour. Told to pickup at 8pm (25mins after ordering) and food had just come out from the kitchen when arriving. Cant ask for any better than that! Unfortunately the garlic bread was quite cold when getting home, which was a three minute drive from restaurant. Impressive restaurant that I’m sure serves A LOT of meals each evening. Unfortunately fell short, especially when considering the premium price. Girl at the front was welcoming. Will try again when back in town in a few years and hopefully have some better comments!

Had pasta dish. All priced the same. Never had chicken in little cubes smaller than little finger nail. It was gristle and tasteless. It was called cavatelli verdi tricolore had just a small amount of tomato .

Restaurant
Whalers Restaurant is a family-run establishment nestled in the Exmouth Escape Resort, offering a delightful dining experience amidst the resort's picturesque gardens. Specializing in fresh local seafood and succulent steaks, this restaurant provides a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere with live music. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or seeking a romantic meal, Whalers is an ideal choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Really pleasant and lively atmosphere, with friendly and caring service and great food. In my time in Exmouth, I went twice, and had the snapper and the trout. Both were really tasty! It’s also refreshing to get a sizeable veggie portion with the fish - which is one of the reasons I returned a second time. Good wine selection, too. It’s a bit pricey, but you do get the value for your money.
Katharina S — Google review
Food was average and service was below average. Had the snapper which was overcooked and the lamb was really tasty despite the cous cous which wasn’t as nice. Our server seemed astonished we weren’t drinking and asked us 3 times what we wanted to drink. She didn’t seem very happy at all so perhaps she had a bad day. When everywhere else we have been, the service has been exceptional, it stood out when the service was below par. Gave 3 stars for the excellent rack of lamb, tuna starter and nice setting but I wouldn’t visit again as it’s extremely overpriced for average quality food.
Dani — Google review
For the price point, I wouldn’t recommend Whalers Resort. Unfortunately, the overall experience was underwhelming, particularly in terms of food quality and attention to detail. We ordered a few starters — including oysters, focaccia, and a broccoli dish. After placing our order, the waitstaff informed us that the broccoli had been substituted with beans, which I was happy to accept. However, what arrived at the table was simply a plain plate of steamed beans — lacking seasoning, presentation, or any real effort. It’s the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to send a dish back at a restaurant. To their credit, the staff were courteous and returned it to the kitchen, bringing out what I had originally ordered. Still, it was disappointing to see that rather than preparing a fresh dish, the chef appeared to have reused the same beans with sauce added. The oysters were another letdown. Described as being served with chilli, lime, coriander, and ginger, they tasted mostly like plain oysters with soy sauce. I had to request Tabasco just to make them more enjoyable. Thankfully, the mains were more satisfying. I had the tofu salad and my partner ordered the rack of lamb — both of which we enjoyed. Cocktails, however, were quite average. All in all, the experience didn’t live up to expectations, and I won’t be returning to Whalers Resort.
Hanna O — Google review
Nice and relaxed atmosphere.. The service was good, the food was great, apart from my steak not being Medium rare, it came out medium to medium well(didn't complain). But It was still a great steak.. the bruschetta was amazing, snapper Ceviche was definitely a favourite. But the fact that they didn't have any oysters at all was very disappointing. Overall I recommend this place for a nice chilled out dinner with a loved one.
Jhon C — Google review
Delicious food that came out very quickly too. The two chefs in the kitchen were constantly sending it. I recommend the snapper and the seafood spaghetti - both were delicious. The service was friendly, and the ambiance was vibrant, even on a Monday night.
EY H — Google review
Had a great evening meal. Four adults and two children. Luckily we booked as it was absolutely packed for dinner on a Monday night. The food was excellent and well priced, the staff were very pleasant and very accomodating. Absolutely recommend for anyone wanting a great dining experience in Exmouth.

Disappointing Experience – Allergy Mishandling We visited Whalers Restaurant on Wednesday, 28th April, and made it very clear to both the waitress and the manager that my partner has a severe allergy to peanuts and tree nuts. We were reassured that appropriate steps would be taken to prevent any cross-contamination, and that the allergy would be clearly communicated to the kitchen. Based on this, we ordered the Salt & Pepper Squid, believing it to be a safe option. Unfortunately, shortly after the meal, my partner experienced an anaphylactic reaction, which required medical treatment and eventually a transfer to Perth via the Royal Flying Doctor Service. I returned to the restaurant later that evening to inform them of what had happened and ask some questions. The manager stated that all procedures had been followed and did not believe the reaction could have been related to the food served. Sadly, this incident meant we had to cut our holiday short and cancel the rest of our plans. I’m sharing this review so that others with serious dietary requirements are aware and can take extra precautions. While the staff were polite, in our case, the safety assurances given did not align with the outcome.

One of the most recommended places to eat when in Exmouth! Luckily we were staying at the resort, and it was close to us, but I highly recommend you visit here even if you're not staying in the resort. Great food options, but I highly recommend going for the seafood dishes to offer! We got the seafood platter and some extra prawns to share, and it was delicious and fresh! Desserts on offer were great and tasty as well. I got the Tasting Platter, which offered all the desserts, and definitely worth the food coma afterwards.

Froth Craft Brewery in Exmouth is a popular spot that offers a laid-back atmosphere, live music, and a play area for kids. The brewery serves up delicious modern Australian cuisine made from locally sourced produce and brews its own artisan craft beers on-site. With two locations in Exmouth and Bunbury, Froth is known for its award-winning micro-brewery and restaurant that caters to all tastes.
Ticks all the boxes: Fun, laidback atmosphere, excellent beer (love the hazy pale ales they make!), music, friendly staff, and good food. We came twice, and we enjoyed the nachos, fish tacos, and grilled snapper. I’d come here often if I lived here.

Great place for a drink and lunch. Quick service and meal came out also without delay. Steak Sandwich was fantastic and the Chicken Parmigiana was huge and oh so yum. Definitely coming back here when next in Exmouth.

Stopped here for lunch. I was so happy I made this decision. Great selection of beer (i have the rice lager) it was so nice. The food was amazing. I had the ribs, the meat fell of the bone and it just melted in your mouth. The atmosphere was great too with a nice chilled out vibe to it.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday evening for a well deserved beer after a long day on the ocean. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the craft beers. They had a great variety of drinks and beer. Food was very yummy and moderately priced.

This restaurant in Exmouth, Western Australia has a truly unique vibe. The atmosphere is perfect whether you’re dining solo or with family. The food is amazing, and the craft beers are definitely worth a try. A solid 5-star experience when visiting here ^^

Loved Froth. Great selection of beers, something for everyone - enjoyed working down the list over a week. Included a black pale ale, something I have never seen before. Nice range of wine and cocktails. Food is goid, decent portions and a nice range, including vegetarian. Friendly relaxed atmosphere and nice service.
Stuart F — Google review
It is a kind of snack(bar) . Don ‘t expect too much. Looks better than it taste. You have to order at the bar. The food is ready within a few minutes. So it can not be of good quality. Food was very salty. Lot of mayo on the salad.

Cool place. Food was good. Not really a craft beer person but cool to be able to test a range of beers 🍺 on a beer paddle 😁

Ningaloo Bakehouse & Cafe is a long-standing favorite in Exmouth, offering a variety of pies, breads, sausage rolls, and sweet treats since the 1960s. Located in the Ross Street Mall, this charming cafe opens early and serves an array of savory and sweet options for breakfast, morning or afternoon tea, and lunch. The friendly staff ensures a warm welcome despite busy periods. It's a go-to spot for delicious coffee and baked goods any time of day.
I only got to try the pies here because once I had one, that was so amazing and delicious, I had to try several more. They have quite a large selection to choose from. I just want to say, the freshness of ingredients was the highlight of these pies, and sauces/gravy ratio was perfect. They were just so tasty and great value considering how expensive food can be in Exmouth. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, loved this shop, and highly recommend everyone to try.
Tron S — Google review
Beautiful pies with a great variety of fillings. From your classic steaks to more adventurous pies like Kanagaroo, steak & mac and cheese. The breakfast croissants are great. They don't hold back on the fillings and they are loaded with good quality ham and cheese. Numerous people already think I'm a fat pig and a bakery like this isn't going to help their view on my gut. The desserts are to die for. In particular, the chocolate chip cookies which are loaded to the brim with chocolate. The donuts could do with a little improvement, the jam donut had a very small amount of filling.
Jordan S — Google review
Had 2 of the sandwich’s - both were made with fresh ingredients and very tasty. I went back the next day to buy the same one with the homemade antipasto. Very yummy! The mushroom and beef pie was also delicious - pastry was fresh and filling very tasty

Just had a vegan sandwich from here. It was huge and absolutely stuffed with the freshest veges 😊 It was extremely good value. Highly recommend if you’re a vegan looking for a delicious, inexpensive, easy lunch.
Kris — Google review
Came in looking for a warm drink. Unfortunately there was no vegan chai latte or hot chocolate powder here. But the staff were very friendly and helpful, which was a stark constrast to the last cafe we had visited. Sadly, while all the food looked very good, there were no vegan options. We left with a matcha latte but unfortunately there were clumps of matcha in the bottom of mine.
Ebony S — Google review
I have been coming here for years and it’s usually amazing. Not today, if you are going to charge $8.70 for a pie please put more than one piece of chicken in it and the pastry was so dry even my dog couldn’t swallow it.😩
Jason R — Google review
Great selection of sweet and savoury baked goods. Best breakfast burger I've ever had, for $10 you get 2x slices of cheese, 2? perfectly fried eggs, and a generous amount of bacon in a super fresh and fluffy big bread bun. Chocolate danish and pizza rolls were also great. Muffin was disappointingly dry. Coffee was not good, but still drinkable. Overall definitely recommend!
Yan — Google review
Delicious food, lots of yummy bakery treats, friendly staff and fast service (even when it's packed, at breakfast and lunch!) Walk in, smell the delights and choose whatever takes your fancy - pies, deserts, pastries, coffee, sandwiches/rolls & vegan/vego options. You won't be disappointed

Truly delicious food, lovely staff and the owners! Worth of turning away from the main road and having a lunch/dinner over here. We had seafood as starters, crocodile bites, steak and barramundi which all were superb! Authentic place in the middle of industrial looking neighbourhood.
Akseli I — Google review
Fantastic service, fast food and sold out of the tiramisu dessert AND the cheesecake, which must mean they were good! Really great atmosphere with pretty fairy lights and a chilled vibe. The food wasn’t as tasty as it looked unfortunately for a few of the dishes: (overcooked steak burger), fish of the day (with overcooked risotto as the unlikely base). I was content with my meal of garlic prawns despite the rest of my party being disappointed with their mains. Overall the food was not the best but ok, slightly pricey with exceptional service.
Dani — Google review
Loved everything about our evening at Adrift. The food was really good, well cooked, hot and fresh. Everyone of our dietary requests was catered for, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and value was great. We had Grilled snapper, Mediterranean salad with prawns and a burger .. all were delicious and we will definitely return! Thanks guys!
Lyn F — Google review
Rustic little spot in the industrial area. I was a tad sceptical at first but once we sat in the rear courtyard and the sun had set the fairy lights lit up beautifully. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Our meals and drinks came quickly and were all delicious. Our meals were chicken parmi, chicken burger and the specia of softshell crab and prawns. We drank gin, soft drinks and an espresso martini. Happily recommend a meal here.
Leanne S — Google review
Fantastic place hidden among the back streets of Exmouth. The entrees were amazing, Kilpatrick oysters were fresh, gic bread was delightful, cocktails were good, but the star of the night was their seafood linguine... Big serve, fresh seafood, and a perfect amount of seasoning... One of the better seafood linguines I have had in a long time. The service was ok, could have been a bit more attentive, but overall a fantastic place..
Jhon C — Google review
I had the fish of the day which was excellent. My partner had a parmi which he also rated highly. The restaurant was quite busy but the staff were great. We didn’t have a booking, so we weren’t seated in the best spot, I would recommend booking in for dinner.
Anna — Google review
Amazing food with generous portions, lovely staff, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. A perfect spot to enjoy great dishes and great company — can’t wait to come back!
Maria L — Google review
Tiniest banana bread in the world? I think so 😂 We had dinner here and loved the food, service a little slow but staff friendly. Food really great. We saw they had a deal for coffee and cake so came back to support local. Cake was $3.50 extra when you bought a coffee, but we didn’t realise the portion size would be laughably small, it seems they can’t cut straight or maybe halved a normal portion size?? Stingy or what - if we would have realised how piddly the portion size was, we would have happily paid usual price as it tasted lovely. But the diagonal cut is sending me, come on guys 🤣🤣🤣 my advice - head to mutt’s, pay full and get a glorious banana bread !

Super happy we stopped here for breakfast! The food is amazzzzing, one of the better vegan meals I’ve had out in a while. Staff were lovely and friendly and the store has a very nice coastal vibe. Loved it!

To find a dedicated Vegetarian/Vegan cafe here was a wonderful surprise. A great selection of excellent vegan savouries and sweets. Mostly toasties and wraps, but some good hot breaks options too. Great to take away for your days exploring the area.

Absolutely delicious! Came here twice for brunch and didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere is very relaxed and there’s always plenty of tables. Great for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian. The Saigon bowl is a must - come hungry, they have really large portions!

Best spot in Exmouth IMO. The food and coffee is absolutely delicious and I recieved excellent service. It's so wonderful to see a vego/vegan place thriving in Exmouth, I think the food really speaks for itself whether you have dietary preferences or not. The only small pieces of feedback I have is the first morning we came, it was extremely busy. My husband ordered a bagel while I got the pancakes. It would've been nice if they had came out at the same time, as my partner had finished his bagel by the time my breaky came out. I also felt like only receiving 3 pieces of tofu in my saigon bowl was a bit skimpy. But the dressing was super delicious 👌
Ebony S — Google review
Social Society is a casual, vegan & vegetarian friendly cafe at the Ross Street shopping centre in Exmouth. There is cozy indoor seating and a few tables onside as well. We had a very impressive breakfast here and picked up delicious cake slices on a separate visit which were enjoyed back in our motel room. For our breakfast, we ordered the Spiced Smashed Pumpkin and Shrooms both served on sourdough and loaded with other fresh ingredients, intelligently combined and beautifully presented. Both ordered tasted great, as did the long black coffees served on the day. We were quite surprised to find a vegetarian friendly meal of this calibre during our trip up the coast of WA and will gladly return for another meal or two if we are able to visit the region again in the future. Social Society is a great little place in Exmouth.

Delicious food and coffee! Try the spicy eggs!! The coffees were a little slow to arrive because the cafe was busy, but food was served quickly! Seems like they were prioritizing takeaway coffee orders, which makes sense. We were not in a hurry, and it was a nice change to enjoy our meal and slowly sip coffee after.

This was the best spot in Exy for coffee and breakfast//brunch food!! Was lucky enough to get back to this place on multiple occasions and ordered many delicious delicious things. Had a great time at Planet Burgers! The staff was friendly, the burger was tasty and perfectly spicy, and the fries were hot, fresh, and crispy. Just how they should be. Loved the vibe too!

Before having this burger I was in a very dark mysterious place I didn't know how to escape, I was surrounded by dull food and lack of taste and very expensive Cuisines.... then like a shining shining beam of light through the car park was the burger van Planet Burger and can I tell you right now it was absolutely out of this world, life-changing experience of delectable Cuisine, mouth-watering burgers and patties slimmering down my esophagus. the fries don't even let me get started on the fries they were Fab really nice fries lovely little bit salty but that's okay because it goes down well with a beer or three. The stuff for really friendly and always willing to have a little natter the owner was really involved in the business and you could tell they had a good supplier for their meats All In All Above and 9 out of 10 and I would definitely go back if I was ever in Xmouth

Not your average burger van! They have a huge selection of burgers, souvlakis, hot dogs and nachos with vege options too. I had the hamburger with the lot which was awesome, the beef patty itself was homemade and a good size and quality. The bun was fresh and my girlfriend rated the vege burger too. The chips were greasy but the burger was the best I've had in a while and had a decent price too so easily gets 5 stars! Definitely recommended.

I was walking to the pub when the smell of this place sucked me in. Great burger with a lovely crispy bun and a tasty meat. Burger with the lot I’d say 5 out of 5, but I have to save that star for something super special (and no half stars on Gmaps) I’ll be back.

Great spot to spend the morning. Coffee was excellent. Very kid friendly with a toy box filled with toys and complimentary picnic rugs. Get atmosphere. Enjoyed our morning here.

I can’t recommend the coffee, service and location of this sweet little coffee van more highly! The girls greet you like family and have created the most welcoming space for absolutely everyone who wants to drop by for a quick takeaway or stay for a delicious breakfast. Can confirm they make the BEST brekky burgers in town and yummiest muffins. Coffee is made with love, always super smooth and creamy ~ the perfect way to start the day. Last thing to mention is the amazing beach location, the only place you can get fresh brewed coffee while watching the sunrise over the ocean. We are so lucky to have a place like this to gather in the morning 😊

Best coffee in town!! Located on Town Beach with a beautiful view and a gorgeous van! Meg and Taz serve up some amazing coffee here in Exmouth, actually it’s our favourite coffee here, we visit almost everyday and treat ourselves to their super tasty muffins which are made fresh daily! They’re really hard to resist and they even treat you to a little brownie piece when you purchase your coffee. Thank you for getting us through the morning guys, we appreciate it!

Takeout Restaurant
Blue Lips Fish & Chips + Burgers is a popular spot in Exmouth town center, offering freshly caught local fish and the usual extras. The restaurant is known for its boogie board-sized fish burgers, which are a must-try. With daily specials and a standard menu, visitors can enjoy a true taste of the local seafood cuisine. The place prides itself on sourcing the best organic produce possible and serving up amazing breakfast options.
Wow! I've just had the best fish and chips ever! The goldband snapper was lightly battered, and the chips were prepared just right. I had a large piece of fish and loads of chips. The owners, whom I had the gift of meeting this evening, pride themselves on their quality, consistency, and pricing. Top marks from me on all three standards. Treat yourself to great food and amazing service - all for a really good price! Thank you for a truly memorable dining experience 🙌

Fish & chips, curry sauce, mushy peas, battered mars bar. All 10/10 Great portion sizes and prices. As a Brit living in Australia for a while now, I have finally found a proper fish and chippy! Tasted like home 🇬🇧

Best fish and chips we’ve had for years! Rang up and gave a time for pickup. Food was ready within minutes of arriving, all locals, very nice people with good service. Meal for 2 with Goldband Snapper was perfect. Great crunch, good amount of salt and not oily. Very generous serve of fish and we couldn’t finish the whole meal. Well done team. I’m normally hard to impress but that was delicious 👍🏼 Thank you

The best fish and chips I've ever had. The grilled Spanish mackeral and snapper was cooked to perfection. The chips and homemade potato cake was SO delicious. I wish I didn't live so far away otherwise I would be eating from here all the time!
Laura Y — Google review
We ordered the grilled snapper fillets. They were tasty but overcooked and dry. Service is good. The indoor area has no atmosphere, it's just functional. There is alfresco seating which is pleasant. Prices are reasonable.
Peter W — Google review
Massive shout out to Blue Lips for their service and food. We had takeaway of a variety of items and ordered easily over the phone. My fish pack 1 was light in the batter and very tasty. My husband’s burger ‘with the lot’ (almost) was not a problem to have the egg removed. Our son’s bestie oozed his aioli down his cool pristine white t-shirt (currently soaking) but loved his chicken kebab and our actual son also enjoyed his steak burger. Terrific service and have to add compliments to the business owner/ manager for hiring such great young people to be ‘the face and voice’ of the business. Bravo!! And thank you 🙏

Wow wow wow! Don’t listen to the shit reviews before go and get you some fish and chips from this place. Hubby and I ordered and paid through the QR code which was very easy to navigate through and to pay. Pick up was as promised 15mins and everything was there no missing item customer service was excellent especially that it was busy busy. We got grilled goldband snapper, scallops, onion rings, chips and curry, deep fry mars bar and garden salad. Everything was on point and nothing was left to take a photo it looked so good we devoured the food.

Fantastic service, delicious food, wonderful ambience and all around fabulous place. Every dish was tasty - some were standouts including the ceviche, the calamari/chorizo dish and the cauliflower! The chef was very fast with dishes and everything was fresh. We had a lovely experience. It is pricey but I would say it’s worth it on holiday. The wonderful servers were especially friendly and accommodating. Great night thanks!

Probly the best place to done in at Exmouth. Be sure to come hungry, because the food is absolutely divine. Could not fault this place at all.. (actually, the fact that they ran out of prawns after I tried to order the tiger prawn dish again was the only downfall..) the food was outstanding, I could have kept on eating.. the service was with a smile. The atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. Beautiful place.... If I'm ever in Exmouth again, I know exactly where my 1st stop for dinner is. Hats off to the chef. 5 stars Highly recommended

One of our favourite meals in Exmouth! The steak tartare was the best I’ve had, and every dish we ordered was packed with flavour - even the humble chicken wings. The service was warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. This spot will definitely be on our list every time we come back to Exmouth.

Our first meal out as newlyweds and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. Gregor is a Master - all the food was amazing. Service was outstanding from the moment we walked in and the atmosphere was spot on - music was not overwhelming but could be heard and suited the place well. Overall an amazing meal - we’ll be back before heading off.

I stopped in here for our one and only breakfast in Exmouth after noticing the vibe the night before. Seems it’s quite funky at night but is also open early for breakfast the next day. I enjoyed eggs Benedict with 2 x poached eggs and a serve of extra bacon. Important is the hollandaise is made in house. I also had a flat white - coffee quality is great. Grabbed another for the road. Total spend less than $40. Great cafe/restaurant/bar with a good vibe. They also have some great local artwork on the wall. Some for sale. I can highly recommend this place. I would definitely come back.

Mantaray's Bar & Brasserie is a dining spot located at the stunning Mantarays Ningaloo Beach Resort, offering breathtaking views of Exmouth Gulf. The menu focuses on delectable seafood such as Exmouth prawns, Shark Bay scallops, goldband snapper, and ocean trout. For those not keen on seafood, there are also dishes showcasing traditional French sauces and techniques. This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily with an emphasis on fresh and tasty food.
Beautiful facility with incredible decor. We had the tapas- most everyone ordered the poutine. Really tasty twist on regular poutine by having chicken gravy instead of brown gravy. The cheese curds were very flavorful. Emus were roaming the streets like they owned the place! 😂 So be careful driving there! Beautiful view of the marina and beach!

I booked a table online a couple of weeks prior. Our dinning experience was great. Food was amazing with generous serves. Staff were accommodating to cater for 1 vegetarian as there wasn’t much on main menu to choose from. Cocktails were delicious.
Berlinda T — Google review
The restaurant has a lovely, modern setting—perfect for dinner. While the entrees were excellent, the main courses left much to be desired. The "tomahawk" steak, priced at $150, was barely recognizable as a rib-eye on the bone, and the "duck fat roasted potatoes" ($13.50) turned out to be just one potato quartered. The goldband snapper was cooked nicely but under seasoned, a recurring issue with most mains. Desserts were quite good, with our favourite being the citrus tart. It’s a real shame, as the ambience is inviting, but the food doesn’t live up to the high prices.
Shane M — Google review
Amazing dining experience 👍🏽 We had dinner for 6! Welcoming and friendly staff and the meals was delicious and well presented ❤️ Looking forward for my next trip back to Exmouth 😅
Laila T — Google review
The customer service by our waiter Michele was outstanding, earning this review 5 stars! Attention to detail was incredible, even the kids were super impressed. Main meals were 4/5 stars. The sides were all surprising large portions. Wouldn’t go the roast potato’s but broccolini, Caesar and chips were fantastic additions to the mains. Not a cheap night out but we all really enjoyed it.

DELICIOUS! This is the ONLY Decent restaurant in town after we tried several ‘claimed to be best’ restaurants in town. We had an outdoor table with pool and beach view. The service was welcoming and attentive. We had scallop, chowder soup, rock lobster, beef and 2 deserts for dinner. Everything was prepared with high standard and was very tasty. Highly recommend to foodies who can’t stand bad tastes.
Trista W — Google review
As a local and have been going to mantays resort for a number of years ,I have found the service and the meals have dropped their standard. I've never been to a resort or restaurant and your main meal is served as meat only on plate, no vegetables or salad, just coloured water sauce, no flavour at all.The surrounds are dirty. You get better meal and price at the local. Over all very disappointed for the prices be charged. Not worth the money. Won't be going back any time soon.1

Cadillacs Bar & Grill in Exmouth is a unique Nashville-themed restaurant that offers a lively atmosphere and a taste of American country music. While temporarily closed for renovations, it's known for its warm hospitality and delicious dishes made with the best organic produce. The bar also hosts live country music on selected nights, adding to the vibrant experience. Visitors can expect flavorful pizzas, tasty tacos, and an overall enjoyable time at this one-of-a-kind establishment.
Food was amazing. Had the ribs which pulled clean off the bone and melted in your mouth. Also ordered brisket - again amazing pulled apart and wasn't dry. Deffo be back
Dione W — Google review
This is an American Country & Western themed bar with a large indoor seating area and outdoor tables as well. Menu features a range of American bar foods with a Southern lean to go along with their more local beer and drink selections. We had dinner here during our recent stay in Exmouth and very much enjoyed the BBQ Pork Ribs. Only ordered a half rack after seeing how large the plates were at other tables. These were really good Memphis style, smoked ribs, the pork came off the bone with little effort, were succulent and tasted delicious. Wished we had gone with the full rack after this plate.
Brad — Google review
Located near most of the camp grounds in Exmouth central, it's very accessible along the main road. This place is an americanised version of remote Australia. Neon sign of route 66 hanging on the far wall and NBA playing on the TV. The food fell slightly short of expectations. Really big helpings, but nothing special. There were no cocktails on the menu, and every spirit had to be ordered with a mixer - there are alcohol restrictions in the northwest.
Polly W — Google review
Managed to nail the overall American bar theme and music. It was a good experience, food was decent and quick, music was good, service was good, pleasant casual vibe in an airy inside/outside venue and all attached to a bottle shop! Missing some of the things that make US bars authentic such as seats at an actual bar, US sport on the screens, late closing and American style table service (probably a good thing as not having to tip). Would still be happy to come back.
Ole N — Google review
We loved the food here and enjoyed the country music so much we returned for a second night. I'd definitely recommend the Smokey Texas Ranger pizza.
Emily M — Google review
So ordered a hot dog which states butchers bratwurst with caramelised onions. Well it was a boiled Frankfurt on a stale bun. Drinks were well over priced. Chips were stone cold. For $22 for a boiled hotdog no thank you. Good work 🤦🏻‍♂️
Bennohilux — Google review
Food was great, beer selection fair, but some difficulties getting the meal served in the right order. Deliberately ordered garlic bread so it came as an entree...with mains to follow sometime later... No, garlic bread forgotten, so mains turn up after about 9 minutes. Stupid really, because we'd have bought more drinks with a greater delay.

Darlene’s renowned desserts are not to be missed! Diners rave about the fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes, such as their crispy BLT with chips—an excellent value at $15.
Great food at a very reasonable price. I had the BLT plus chips $15.00.. Ingredients were fresh, bacon well cooked and the correct three layers of toast. Chips cooked in fresh oil, crispy - delicious. Staff are always friendly and eager to please. New owners doing a good job. Ambiance needs improving, music would help as well as abundant cake display. Great selection of cakes and treats at this lovely air conditioned cafe. Lovely staff, plenty of tables inside which is surrounded by lovely teas, coffees, preserves, candles and little gifts. Also outside seating with umbrellas however can get pretty hot Coffees are made to perfection and lactose free milk is available

Very very disappointing, coffee was bad, wrap for $12 was super basic (we had been offered xtras Avocado for $4/cheese$2/sauces xtra…) AND the carrot cake was stale. I asked for a refund on the carrot cake which was done but the manager was very unprofessional and grabbed the empty dishes off our table afterwards. She made no reply or eye contact when my partner thanked her…

This morning i purchased a very small kid's cone with a small scoop of vanilla icecream (nothing special) the young girl said $9.00 please, i said $9.00??? She was like yeah & rolled her eye's (basically saying yeah i know its ridiculous). I know its busy season etc but that is just ripping customer's off.

It is the only place in Australia where I payed MORE for having my own cup! The girl at the counter told me that the price was higher because I had my cup instead of a take away one. 8.5 dollars (!!!!) for a regular Chai with oat milk. Crazy. I will never go back there again!
Rebecca Z — Google review
Attended the aquarium where this cafe is located and purchased two drinks from the cafe. Then had a male staff member come out and ask with a lot of attitude if we had purchased any food and said it was poor of us to be sitting at their tables with our lunch that we had brought from home. Was very poor attitude and did not make us want to buy additional food/drinks from this cafe. Would recommend putting a sign on your tables stating "must spend more then $10 to be able to sit at these tables if that is the policy. Will not be returning.
Courtney S — Google review
The counter staff were quite cold and aloof to us. When asked about what a menu item contained; none of the staff could tell us what it came with (big breakfast). I had to ask if anyone did know that I could ask so I knew what to I was even getting. The kitchen staff then gave me the list (this list turned out to be wrong also when the meal arrived). After waiting half an hour the meal arrived. The sausage was watery under the skin. The bacon tasted microwaved or had been cooked from frozen. The eggs were fried, but completely hard and cooked through. The yolks were almost like erasers. This would have all been fine and brushed off if it didn't make me physically sick. Within half an hour I needed to vomit. It was the only thing I ate for the day up to that point. Either better training or better quality is needed. I will be warning people off of this place.

After snorkeling the reef all day and discovering that whale sharks swim faster than a slightly overweight 58-year-old in a wetsuit, we staggered into EGFC in desperate need of carbs and cold beer. Now, don’t expect table service here — this is Exmouth, not The Ritz. You fetch your own drinks and fish ’n’ chips from the bar. But honestly? That makes it better. You get to meet the super-friendly crew face-to-face, order your pint of Northern Crisp (a lager so refreshing it deserves its own weather forecast), and then carry your plate of golden, perfectly battered fish and crunchy chips straight to the harbour view. The food? Magnificent. The kind of fish and chips that make you question why you ever settled for a greasy paper-wrapped takeaway. The setting? A postcard with beer taps. The vibe? Mateship and sunshine, even if you’ve still got salt water in your ears. EGFC isn’t just a meal — it’s the after-party for your reef adventure. 11/10. Would happily waddle back in snorkel gear.
