This place is racist. They didn’t sit us down and told us it’s “full” even though half of the restaurant is empty. The next few groups behind us got seated, I checked reservations and it’s empty. Don’t bother coming here if you’re Asian.

Dinner and drinks were good. I enjoyed the ambiance probably better than the meal, but the food was tasty. Loved sitting outside in covered, semi-private benches.

Amazing restaurant on the beach. Hire a long lounge chair too on the beach for the day and have cocktails 🍹 from the restaurant. Absolutely delicious fresh food. Book in advance and ask for a cabin (with the sheer curtains as they are more private and comfortable and close to the beach.)

Perfect location. They have seats in front of the beach,where you can enjoy your drink or to bite something while enjoying the sun and the sea. We booked a table for lunch then. Really tasty and well decorated plates. Carpaccio thon was amazing and acras at their best! Pina colada was one of the best i ever had . I would like some more plates in the menu though. We will come back.

Try to, plan the perfect day around this establishment. Arrive early to get close parking, otherwise, just pull into the large open field just pass the pedestrian overpass, you can't miss it because that's where the water overflows across the road. They have some beach front chairs, and unbrelles with places change and shower. The garden is undergoing some landscaping, but the shaded tables, two small bar, gift shop and enticing warm ocean views are spectacular. Swim out about a hundred and twenty meters and see the turtles fest on the sea grass. Rest and either swim to the far right of shore or hike to the nature preserve for fantastic snorkeling with five bouyes. Then when you're ready to enjoy some great local fare with your favorite beverage or cocktail. Try the grilled fish (vivaneau rouge) or langouste.

We needed to wait a bit to get a seat because the people know and love this place. We then sat with direct view to the beach and turquoise blue sea. Dishes are delicious and service was attentive, especially one waiter who was from Dresden, Germany.

We enjoyed our time at the Zanzibar Restaurant. The food was amazing and so tasty. The portion sizes were perfect, and the food presentation was great. The service was also very good. We were there for lunch, and it was wonderful looking out over the bay. We speak very little French, but the staff made us feel welcome and gave us a menu with an English translation. Thank you for helping us to enjoy our wedding anniversary.

The spouse and I split a fish dish and shared the French toast dessert. Delicious. My only complaint is that the entire meal took 2.5 hours and the restaurant wasn't that busy. We were seated in the back to accommodate our party and couldn't feel the nice sea breeze. There were fans running, but it was still super hot.

We are vegetarian Americans, so dining out in France can be a little intimidating for us, but Violette was wonderful and spoke great English (and tolerated my husband practicing his French!). The vegetarian options are DELICIOUS. The accras, lentil dahl, and veggie Colombo were to die for, and I always LOVE fried bananas. It's easy to make delicious food when you cook meat, but the sign of a great chef is that they can cook incredible food with any ingredients. And Kano has a great chef!

I never write reviews, and I needed to write a review for this place. I came with a group of 8 people and all of us agreed that the service and the food were terrible. We waited for 1.5 hours to get our main course. And when it came it was just poor quality. One of our members ordered a chicken salad, and when eating it found a bone in the chicken. I understand that this happens sometimes, but if you’re paying €21, I expect not to have bones in my chicken fingers. The price of the food was just not reflected in the quality or portion size. Extremely disappointing.

Had food here this evening. Thought I couldn’t go wrong with a chicken Caesar! I was served 3 large Luke warm chicken nuggets with a warm salad which not only was very scarce but devoid of taste. A few cold attempts at croutons, a Caesar salad dressing which was clearly a bought budget version and 2 halves of an egg which had been cooked a while and for the bargain price of 16 euro. Absolute joke. Great if you like cigarette smoke though, the punters are happy to smoke next to you and share there carcinogens.

We had to wait several minutes before someone came to assist us. The food was not warm and tasted quite bad. We do not recommend it.

We each used three salt and three pepper packets so it would taste like something. It doesn’t taste bad, it doesn’t taste good, it doesn’t have a flavor, I can see the tomato sauce and the cheese, kebab meat. It was like chewing plain bread.

I am completely shocked by the positive reviews, we had an awful experience. We had 50 minutes to spare before our boat ride back, so took a seat at La Marine for a drink. 50 minutes should be plenty of time for a drink. After 20 minutes of waiting, we thought perhaps we could order at the bar. No, table service only (strange as we had already waited so long). The lady brought us over a couple of menus and then disappeared. Various waiters looked over with no attempt to serve. 2 other tables got up and left due to the same problem - only people sat on inner tables eating food were served. We finally got her attention to order the drinks, then sat and waited another 10-15 minutes. No apology, no acknowledgement. In the end, we got up and left. 40 mins of our life we won’t get back again

BEAUTIFUL food and drinks here. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite, from the lovely local vanilla infused into the rum punch and the amazing layered flavors in the seabass. It’s the kind of place where you definitely don’t want to miss the desert either..

I had here wrap with lobster and it was delicious! I didn’t like the fried veggies on the side but it didn’t spoil the dish. Absolutely great guava panna cotta! Fish tartar was good and fresh.

Hands down one of the best meals I've ever eaten! We had 3 courses, and each one was delicious 👌 could not recommend more! Staff was attentive and very friendly. I had a pint of margarita 😂 lovely atmosphere. What a gem! Hope to go back before we leave. Be aware they are open daily for lunch and only Friday and Saturday for dinners. Would recommend booking as very popular place!

Felt like a local going here. I'd say very typical food/ambiance for locals. Doesn't seem like a touristy place (looks like a hole in the wall, but food and service were excellent ). We were extremely happy with our choice of going here. Highly recommend.

We arrived on the dock to check in, but site was closed. Wandering the shoreline we come across Le Mango Bay. Greeted by an energetic woman who would also be our server. English subtitles on the menu helped as my French speaking abilities are still back in High School and I would not wish to offend locals ears. The “Pasta du Mango Bay” was selected and a glass of red wine. Served with a basket of bread the tastes were delicious. The bowl had 6 slices of chicken atop pasta in a Roquefort cheese sauce flavored with apple, walnuts, and croutons. The serving was ample for 2 or easily devoured by one hungry sailor. As we finished, we wanted a compliment to the meal. While the menu has a variety of sweets and glacé’s we inquired if they have a cheese plate. Our server asked us to wait while she checked the kitchen. She returned with a plate of soft cheese and garnish. A perfect complement to our meal. This place is worth checking out to see what’s cooking.

The gentleman waiter was excellent, the food was wonderful, the drinks were great. The second time we stood at the bar waiting for a table, said bonjour to the bar lady, and she completely ignored us for 10 minutes and spoke French to another customer without ever acknowledging us. So we left. 0 stars for that. Today we had lunch. The small female waitress was wonderful. The ‘new’ cherry cocktail ordered by my wife was delicious. My pina colada was the worst I have ever had. And I have had a lot of pina coladas! It was served warm! No ice had ever been near this drink. Awful! My wife’s lunch was delicious, but my mussels were seriously overcooked. But the service was great. So, 3 stars. So if you visit this restaurant, good luck! You might get 5 stars, you might get 0, or somewhere in between. Which usually means that management is asleep at the wheel. Wake up!

We did a reservation in The Zandoli as we were hosted in the hotel and we ordered de 70€ menu. It was good; although we had warned at the reception that, as I was pregnant, I couldn’t eat uncooked meat or fish. Main course: fish, really hard, extremely over cooked. After complaining I was asked to come back the following morning to be reminbursed for the wine. I did however not one apology.

We arrived gave our reservation info (4 people) and name and were shown to a table four 7 after an hour we were not even able to order a cocktail. They said they could still take us but moved us to a different table. We again waited after asking to order a cocktail. They finally took the drink order and eventually brought our drinks.
