Delicious food, friendly service and many clearly labeled options for vegans and vegetarians. All the food coming out looked and smelled amazing and we were very happy with the flavours of our gnocchi and risotto. Would Absolutely eat here again!! Thankyou !

Yesterday, as soon we landed we had a lunch at this beautiful restaurant and the owner/ waiter made us very comfortable and welcomed, the food was just like mamma does, very tasty. And the wine was sublime. We couldn’t ask for nothing more. Very very recommended. Stefano and Julia

Outstanding tapas restaurant, but it is so much more. They also have a wide variety of entrees and crepes. I had the cheese croquettes as an appetizer, and they were exquisite. Others in my family ordered a variety of chicken, cheese, and prawns tapas as their main meal, and it worked out perfectly. Delicious and filling. My son ordered one of the crepes as his main course and he raved about it all night long. We ordered a bottle of Mallorcan Sauvignon Blanc which was an ideal pairing with the steak that I ordered as my main. The steak was moist and tasty, and had multiple sides including carrots, potatoes, peppers, and mushrooms. Excellent choice for the hungry tourist! I had a caramel, banana and walnut crepe for dessert which was huge and delicious. We ate outside which was delightful and very European. Service was welcoming and outstanding, adding to the overall positive dining experience. Can't say enough about this excellent Mallorcan restaurant experience.

Loved it, the food was incredible, lovely service and staff were very attentive. Food came out quickly and honestly cannot fault the place!! You can tell everything is made with love and using the best ingredients. The home made aioli and olives were insanely good, all the sauces were delicious and great range of specials on the menu.

During our stay in Llucmajor, we dined at Bistro Mercat multiple times and we very much enjoyed the service and the food. My partner is vegan and she found the menu super helpful with the variety of vegan options clearly marked on the menu. The location is perfect for those staying in Llucmajor with a nice surrounding area helping the atmosphere. The owners were very friendly and it was clear they take great pride in their restaurant.

In a nice and quiet Llucmajor we found this amazing restaurant. Waiters were so nice, kind and helpful that we enjoyed every second spent in this cozy little restaurant. We ordered 3-4 tapas dishes and all of them tasted so good and fresh that we definitely want to visit this restaurant again. Other than food, the restaurant offers only wines from Mallorca. We tried one and it was amazing. It is definitely 10/10 restaurant and worth visiting if you stay in Llucmajor or passing by. At the end they gave us their almond liqueur which was also surprisingly extremely good (we also bought 2 bottles of it in the restaurant as a souvenir for home).

I have been fortunate to go to many great restaurants in Mallorca, but this was my favorite. What separated this place from the others was the unique preparation of each dish. We shared 4 tapas and a salad. The ingredients in each were fresh and delicious. We had scallops which were amazing. The beef stroganoff was superb, and the chicken wings were crunchy and mouth watering, and had a sweet tasty glaze. The salad had the freshest tomatoes I've ever had along with the best goat cheese I ever tasted. We shared 3 different desserts including cheesecake, tiramisu, and brownie. All were incredible. Service was very friendly. You can't go wrong here.

Nice little restaurant with excellent tapas, a beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff

Came across this place accidentally and seen good reviews so we stopped in after a long tour day . The waiter was friendly and nice . The steak with foei gras was amazing along with the steaks medium rare was so tasty , the shrimps was also good. Good wine and they even offered us 2 shots before we leave. Awesome place .

Contrabando is must see & eat in Mallorca! Our first and last dinner here. This place is incredible- food / tapas and vine is beyond and staff is special and kind. Here you can get real majorca vibe. Will come back in our next visit to Mallorca.

Unfortunately on our first attempt to dine at Contrabando on Sunday evening we didn't make reservations first. Fortunately Miguel recommended another restaurant up the street that was also very good. Tonight (Weds) we planned ahead and made reservations. We had delicious tapas and drinks while sitting out on the terrazzo. I highly recommend you go to Contrabando in Llucmajor!

Was recommended this restaurant but it fell down on a few fronts. Food was very slow coming out and this was tapas so no large dishes. Some of the food was not to a standard I had expected. Water left in the potatoes with garlic sauce. Tartar was good. Mussels ok. Korean salad tasty but hardly any prawns. Desserts average. Our waiter was friendly and trying his best despite a slow kitchen. It was busy and the standards have dropped since it became popular another regular diner told us. Overpriced

Mhares Sea Club is well worth a visit! Awesome location with a great vibe and a perfectly tempered pool. Although the food is a bit pricey, it was well above our expectations! Really good burger and chicken tenders. The staff is also really nice but seemed a bit stressed even though they seemed like a large enough team. When we checked out we were reminded that ”service isn’t included” which seems a bit rich given that a half liter can of water costs €4,50. Maybe it’s some kind of super premium water molecules? Idk. Either way we would love to visit again!

We had the best day at Mhares and came here on a whim with no reservation. The cabanas are GORG with access to the ocean below and paved steps to get down to them. The pool is huge and actually has a deep end. Our attendant; Marcelo, was THE best!! So attentive and fun. Drinks and food were amazing and you should definitely come here.

So we went to Palma de Mallorca on a cruise and we were looking for a place to get some sun and relax after the past few days of running. Main take away the deposit is not charged at time of reservation. Only charged if cancel last minute or at end of the visit. €50 a person was extremely affordable compared to the average €80. The atmosphere was fun yet calm. It is located on a hillside which provides a very secluded and exclusive experience. Music was a light house so it made for an energetic feel but at a level we could actually relax and talk to each other. I love a party vibe but at 10am I want to ease into it. They have plenty of space around the pool and the water was very refreshing. The beach is a bit rocky and the path down into the water can be a bit dangerous but if you watch your step you I’ll find the effort worth it. Water was crystal clear. The food was fresh and came quickly with the pitchers of spirits really cost efficient and refreshing for the hot day.

Lovely spot on a cliff with steps down to the water. The chairs were comfortable and the staff mostly friendly, though we had to work hard to flag anyone down for service (nobody else seemed to struggle though, so may just have been unlucky). You are renting a bed for the entire day, even though you have to select an arrival time (they might give it up if you’re really late). Seemed like most people arrived by noon and planned to stay till close (7pm the day we were there). We did try the restaurant for lunch, but didn’t really enjoy any of the food…would try ordering off the pool menu next time. We ubered from Palma (about 30 mins, ~40 euros) but the return journey was showing as ~160 euros! Luckily the staff were able to book us a taxi, which showed up very quickly. Return fare ended up being about 35. Overall: relaxing, a little expensive, but a nice day out in a picturesque area.

What a day we had at Mhares Sea Club! amazing vibes and view, the road to the place is truly breathtaking. We really enjoyed our time there thanks to the staff members especially : Marcelo, Matteo, and Emma ❤️👏🏼, they were really helpful and positive always. great experience thanks to them. Gracias for everything and definitely I recommend to visit this Sea Club once you had the chance in Mallorca.

The seafood is fresh, very tasty dishes! Fast service and everyone brings only cooked. But some young waiters are not very friendly, they wanted to feed the most expensive fish in the establishment, when other locals were brought fish for 19€, and not for 60€. So watch carefully and ask and we still had to pay separately for the bread, although they brought it to us and didn't ask if we wanted it, so be prepared for that

We didn’t have a reservation but were still able to get a table inside, which was great. They also have a terrace with a nice view of the port. Unfortunately, it was quite cold indoors, probably due to a draft. The food was generally good — the alioli and olives were delicious — but the calamares were disappointing: soggy and lacking flavor. Everything else was fine, and the prices were reasonable overall.

Wonderfully tasty seafood, amazing. Fresh, delicately and sensitively cooked Hake, Monkfish, Grilled squid. All perfect! The wine was well paired with the meal. There is a good selection and fairly priced also. There is no ripping off, they are an honest business and this is great to see. Danny our waiter was excellent, the service was timwly and he is vwry warm and welcoming and also does well in ensuring you are choosing for your own taste. He guides through the menu very well. If you can reserve the terrace it is worth doing. Its great to eat there. We were there for sunset and it is super to see the sunset whilst eating. I wholeheartedly recommend this. It was recommended to me by a.lical.and they were right.

You absolutely must make a reservation, very busy and very popular. Not surprising given it's a great location and the food is outstanding. The locally; daily sourced seafood is the best option and they prepare and cook it exactly as you want it! Such an atmosphere as well, and although next to a really touristy area; it was full of locals who know a good place when they find it!!

We’ve been to many restaurants since Saturday, but this is the first one that truly tastes amazing. Best restaurant so far great service, good ambience. I love it! Highly recommend.

Excellent seafood and a highly sought-after spot in the area. It was packed when we first tried (1h30 wait without a reservation), so we booked for the next day. Totally worth planning ahead.

We had a paella with seafood for three. Taste and quantity matched expectations, service was good, and the place has nice sights. Inside it's slightly noisy, but all in all I'd recommend this place.

I have been enjoying eating (lunches and dinners) at Tomates Verdes for many years. Their menu is varied and I have never had bad dish. My favourites are his fish dishes, though his pork (ribs and pluma ibérica) are amazing.

Food is a joke and overpriced cafeteria food. Ordered the chicken Caesar salad and it was chicken strips with mayonnaise on bagged salad. Anyone rating this higher than 1 star has questionable taste. Incredibly disappointing. Avoid and stick to something simpler.

Trendy restaurant located in the main plaza with delicious food. The portions a bit small but still worth it. The tuna tataki, salmon tiradito were completely outstanding as was the white chocolate soup with berries dessert. Truly recommended.

That was no star experience! The team is definetely not ready for the season and the chef was not present. They presented us a menu card with different options but then said only one was available with some changes - how can a restaurant not even have the correct menu to share?? None of the courses were at Michelin star level, technically good but lack of taste and nothing was surprising or outstanding. Wine recommendation and service was not existing, we asked for a red wine and a white was proposed… Too many people on the service and just standing around. That was a disappointing evening and then even the bill was not correct. There are much better options in Mallorca!

The Mediterranean menu is like an explosion of flavours on one’s palette and a piece of art for the eye. Exquisite!

We were staying at the hotel and communications with the concierge team informed me that the AG restaurant needed to be booked directly with them. No issues at all with the booking process (via The Fork app). We had an early reservation (19:30) and glad that we did as sittings can range from 2-3 hours, depending on which menu you go for. We were fortunate enough too that at that time to have the sing-song of the birds coming home to roost for the evening! The whole meal was a culinary experience: there's an introduction to the restaurant and its ethos, a quick view of the kitchen and the 'performance' of the courses themselves. The staff were excellent and took good care of us; the sommelier made some excellent wine pairing suggestions for us too. The food: creative and exquisite! A nice little touch at the end of the evening was having the menu course cards packaged in a neat, little envelope as a reminder of our visit.

Wonderful evening - Andreu Genestra and his team create extraordinary, tasty dishes, with lots of surprises. We had the large tasting menu with wine pairing - definitely worth it! The staff was very friendly. However, what I miss for a (*) restaurant is the perfection of service: We had to ask multiple times for water glasses to be refilled (while staff was not busy), we had some wine glasses that weren’t fully clean, napkins weren’t re-folded when returning from the bathroom… I am aware of the current difficulties to hire, therefore still a 5* review.

Firstly, book directly with the restaurant. I booked with an agency and they didn’t get back to me until an hour before the booking time, by which time I already made the hour long journey to the restaurant. The wonderful host David went out of his way to accommodate me on a very busy night which took some doing but I really appreciated it. The food: well they already had me at the bread, butter and olive oil. All made by them. The tasting menu was diverse, surprising and just damn good. You can tell the chef is ingredient obsessed and they grow most of their own stuff in the gardens you can see close to the restaurant. What they don’t grow or make, they source from close providers and it shows. This really is a tour thru local Mallorquín cuisine in an unusual and experimental way. Everything beautifully presented and expertly served. The wine pairing: this has to be the most unusual and interesting wine journey I’ve ever been on. I won’t say I loved everyone of them, as there is a bias towards natural wines which I’m not a fan of generally, but almost everything was from the island and very interestingly presented along with back story from the very animated and well informed sommelier. This is not your ordinary ‘bunch of whites with the white meat and bunch of reds with the red meat’ affair, and in fact there was only one red (which was sublime.) Another highlight was the 1952 white sherry (I think it was) and another one for the books was the off menu vermouth I had which was amazing and home made by their very own wonderful host, David. All in all a wonderful journey thru the spirit of Mallorca in a fantastic setting with fantastic service. Thank you all!!

The place is really nice and it has a very romantic and quite vibe, service can be improved, we have been left without drinks few times and then even after asking the waiters we had to wait for a long period of time until our glasses were refilled. Also the wait between dishes went over 20’ in different parts of the set up menu. The food was quite mediocre for a Michelin star restaurant, nothing surprising or a taste you never had before, also there were some flavor combinations that were not matching, there is a dish called Arroz Brut that the texture doesn’t feel nice in your mouth, I couldn’t eat it, the dish with tuna, the tuna was definitely overcooked… I was expecting much more for a Michelin star restaurant and also for the price.

Great dining experience with beautifully-crafted courses and a very friendly and knowledgeable service. This should earn Andreu Genestra five stars but it doesn‘t for two reasons: - the setting: the main restaurant has a worse atmosphere than the more informal bistro with its nice open terrace. We were seated in a more upscale-Oktoberfest-like tent construction with almost no view. I don‘t think the installed spotlights on the dishes justify this decision. - the bread: was, from what we could tell cut too early and therefore did not seem perfectly fresh.

We visited this lovely square in Lucmajor intending to visit a seafood restaurant but did not find the menu appealing. We saw this welcoming place and although it seemed a bit counterintuitive to eat Italian in Majorca we decided to try it. We drank a wine and a beer and a bottle of still water. For the meal we started with superb Alioli and bread. My wife had pork tenderloin with mashed potato and I went for saltimbocca all’s Romana with roast potatoes. Both meals were delicious, full of flavour and well presented. Service was quick and friendly and although the place was busy the staff did their best to be attentive. We finished the meal by sharing s tiramisu. We were glad we chose this place to eat and had a very satisfying meal. The square is also a great place for people watching you see so many different visitors enjoying their evening.

We went to eat tonight in this restaurant, it was one recommandation of my boyfriend from Mallorca and really since 1 year that I’m here it’s the first time that I eat one pizza like this, it was so so good really, all the staff were also very good (special mention to David that take care of us all long the dinner), and the restaurant is affordable for the food that we got ! So a big thank you ! We will come back for sure, hasta prontooo😁

Came here two days in a row; great pizza and pasta at a great value right in the city center.

The location is perfect, right in the town main square. The place itself is quite nice, with a 1970’s laid back Cuban style. The coffee is actually the best I’ve tried in town, and the sandwiches are nice as well. That being said, the service is the absolute worst. You can easily wait 20 minutes just for a waiter to take your order, not even looking at which table arrived first. The staff look like they hate their job and you can quite often see them arguing among themselves. Honestly this is such a pity, with proper management the place could be an absolute ten.

Nice cafe in the square in Llucmajor, it's sort of middle to upmarket traditional bar and cafe. I sat outside and it was a very nice place to sit. This is the second time I visited and both times were good. Coffee tasted good, although not quite warm enough for me. The apple tart shown in the first picture was fabulous. The almond cake in the second picture was nice, a little dry, but not nearly as nice as the apple tart. The service I would say was efficient rather than friendly, not unfriendly though, I suspect the staff were just busy as it was a busy time of the day. For what we had I thought the prices were reasonable. I would be more than happy to return - but have the apple tart.

It is still an iconic place to visit. But more for drinks these days. I missed the traditional Majorcan dishes of the past and found the food not very appealing and quite pricey for what it was.

Coffe was wonderful and the service was really nice. I really recomend eating casadiella, it is really tasty and they are good in making it.

Tonight we were too late to find a restaurant for dinner. Some of restaurants didn’t even bother to serve us or welcome us. Luckily, we found this restaurant with very friendly staffs and they welcomed us!! The service was superb. The food was great! We are definitely come back again!

Such a lovely dinner! Octopus leg was cooked to perfection. Our favourite starter was the breaded prawns in sweet and sour sauce. The steak was cooked very well, however the red wine sauce was way too strong (too much of a nutmeg taste) which overpowered the dish. The clam pasta was OK, I wish it had more of a clam-y taste to it, however it was very similar to how my italian friends cook it. For dessert, tiramisu was outstanding! Overall we would definitely eat again!

My favorite restaurant in Llucmajor. The starters: PERFECt. I have never had such a delicious goat cheese salad. The bruschetta was also very good especially the one with olive spread. Their daily menu is also recommendable and their pastas are very delicious as they do not skimp on portions. You come hungry and leave satisfied! Delicious fish and meat options!! Especially their fish (John Dory) was exquisite. The ambience is also marvelous as it’s at the beautiful city square in llucmajor. Especially the waitress from the philippines is super nice and should deserve an extra tip from every visitor ;) he’s awesome!! all the best!!! hopefully i will see you soon!!!

Everything was “Ottimo!!!!”, but especially staffs are gem of this restaurant. Such highly serviced minded staffs they have. We were 2 families with 2 small hungry kids after playing at the playground right next to the restaurant. All tables at the restaurant seemed fully booked, but they managed to make a table for us. Immediately right after we sat down the seats, they brought drawing kits for our kids. So kids didn’t get bored until their meal was served. There was a kids menu, so easy to chose for little ones. All foods we had were just amazingly tasty. I loved Tuna Tataki most of all. I would not mind to go back there only for this dish! As a Japanese, I certificate that this tataki dish is perfectly cooked (Tataki is one of popular way of cookings in Japan) :-) Tuna is one of most difficult fish to cook. Dinner at this restaurant became definitely one of the highlight of our vacation in Mallorca. Thank you very much for such a great quality of service and foods.

Utterly fantastic food and service, in a chilled and friendly atmosphere. My family has been coming here for more than 50 years (from my grandparents, parents and myself and all my cousins) and it has retained is traditional feel, amazing food and very reasonable prices. Best Barbeque in Majollca!! Last easter, my friend and I had a nice barbeque here and we kept missing that even when we came back home, that‘s why we decided to come to Majollca for this easter again! Furthermore the staffs are super friendly and nice:) Highly recommended!

The t-bone i ordered was not nice at all, i believe was defrost and cooked. Definitely wont recommend that piece of meat. The chicken that my partner had was not tasting very well neither. Waiters were very friendly though.

Stunning view, good service but food did not meet my expectation. We had the cod fish, which was way too salty. And the entrecote was so tough that it was not possible to eat. Maybe the kitchen had an off day. However, we came for the view and was not disappointed!

Excellent location for a quiet get away as long add you hire a car its perfect. Food in the restaurant is really good and the villas make you feel right at home with everything you need, apart from a washing machine. Highly recommended for any quiet get away.

The location is great. Service was good, punctual and kind. At the end, they also offered a mallorcan liquor which was very good! We took the pork and the mallorcan squid and both were good. Mallorcan desserts were great, even though a bit pricy.

I visited Pizzeria Can Joan with my colleagues during a business trip, and it was a wonderful experience! Despite our large group of 28 people, the pizzas kept coming out warm, fresh, and topped with delicious, gooey cheese. The service was excellent, and the cozy atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind after a long day. If you're in Mallorca, I recommend checking it out!

We were here for dinner and the food was decent. Our pizzas took a long time to come even though people who ordered after us got served earlier. We had a 1 liter jug of Sangria Cava which was quite tasty as well as a dessert which also took very long to arrive. The staff is friendly especially the old man who is super polite and friendly. The restaurant has a lot of outdoor seating options and pretty decor.

Pizza is usually a fast food. Not at Joan's. Here, pizza is served only after enduring a wait that seems only like an eternity. Once the sad spectacle reaches the table, it seems like the mercy from the Old Testament God, earned through pain and suffering. The sangria was good. The pizza tasted like a warmed sandwich. The starter arrived after 30 minutes. Could be worse.

Terrific place for dinner. Nice terrace and the best pizza around imo. Pizza Can Juan is my recommendation as well as the super chili sauce. Prices are also a joke compared to other places. Top tier in the town for sure.

A family run restaurant with a lovely outdoor dining area as well. Happy helpful staff and excellent food. I had the Angus beef steak. Superb.

Ca’n Tià Taleca is such a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area!

Under new management and much improved! Before this visit we always left somewhat disappointed, since the menu promised more than the kitchen delivered. This time we were delighted!!! The tumbet was superb, the tomato sauce was almost pesto. Trambó was new to us, a delicious salad made of onions, tomatoes, green chillies and olives, all very fresh and perfectly prepared. The main courses - pork and lamb in our case - were also very, very good. The service was good, friendly and unobtrusive. My wife was allowed to taste the different open wines before making her choice, although she only ordered a glass. Oh, and the prices are very reasonable too. I really can't think of anything negative to say. Great place!

It was ok, pizza size was on the medium to small size, and all pizzas for some reason had havarti cheese as well as mozzarella... Starter choice also very limited to deep fried things, patatas bravas ir nachos... Wouldn't repeat and would try somewhere else next time

We only had a couple of drinks. We've eaten here in the past though and it was superb. To be honest, you are spoilt for choice in Llucmajor. T this is just one of several gems.

Great lunch place, especially on Wednesday, after shopping at the weekly farmers’ market. Good selection of tapas at the bar, large tapas plate can be a great lunch option. Roasted eggplant with garlic and olive oil is to die for. To my taste, Schnitzel was a bit too dry with a bit too thick layer of breadcrumbs . Arabic fried eggs with Sausage and grilled green pepper and fries were perfect. Great service, cute decor, fantastic location, outdoor sitting. Reasonably priced . Will definitely be back

I came across El Hummus because of its numerous vegan dishes. At first, I thought the portions were too small but with an appetizer in addition to the main course, you can get quite full. Everything was well-seasoned and the variety of vegan dishes was impressive. Unfortunately, the Baklava wasn’t that good. I’ve had much better before. The service was always attentive and very friendly. However, the restaurant is located next to a well-visited children’s playground, which made the noise level quite noticeable. If I am in the area again, I will definitely return.

Read previous reviews about the best shakshouka- and they were so right. Very delicious, and comes with a toast sprinkled with sesame seeds. Nice place in a shadow with Spanish music in the background. Service was quick, the menu is a QR code, which wasn't a problem for us. Good spot to start your day with delicious breakfast and a strong coffee. 10 out of 10!

Genuinely a gem! I came here for brunch and was so surprised at how incredible the food was. I had a shakshuka and the Foodee Baguette… best meal I had on my trip. The food was so incredibly seasoned, the chicken was marinated in gold (sounds exaggerated but it was that good) and the coffee was great quality. The food was so filling as well and the quality was one of the best on the island for the price you pay. The staff werep so kind and friendly too. The atmosphere is clean and cozy and it is close to the beach. Thank you guys will definitely be coming again! I recommend you all visit.

We went to the Sea Club for dinner last week and it was lovely! They graciously took us to the restaurant with a golf cart which was a necessity since we were wearing high heels and the restaurant location was a bit far from the parking/drop off area. The view was absolutely breathtaking! If you can request to seat in the first row of tables so you view is not blocked by other tables. They request that you stay off your phone and refrain from standing up to take pictures. However, it is not enforced many people were still taking pictures and videos of the sunset. The ideal time for a dinner reservation is 8:30pm. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 was we ordered the shrimp carpaccio and it was inedible none of us could eat it, they were very accommodating and replaced it with another dish. They also do not have many gluten free options. The service was good but not excellent.

This was by far our favorite hotel we’ve ever stayed at. From when I booked it a year ago up until we departed, the attention to detail was near perfect. Every aspect of your stay is done so well I was actually waiting for something to go wrong and it never did. Concierge crafted the perfect itinerary for us and made adjustments onsite as needed. There’s also such a low amount of hotel guests that it feels like it’s your own place. The daily breakfast, sea club, and general service from all the hotel employees was truly unreal. The best honeymoon location we could’ve asked for! Thank you Cap Rocat team!!

Sea club restaurant is my favorite one on the island, a mix of chic, perfect discreet service and amazing food. They manage to be at the same time simple and elegant... pure bliss. And you can watch the sunset from its terrace. A + : phone is forbidden so you don't have the influencers taking selfies while you eat... as said, elegant.

FOOD POISONING WITH HOSTILE RESPONSE I am writing to warn others about a recent (September 2025) visit.The service and hospitality were extremely disappointing and ultimately became hostile as the hotel became concerned about its risk exposure to a health incident for which I believe (but cannot confirm) it was responsible. For context and disclosure on the opinion contained in this review, I work in hospitality and have high expectations, and at the time of my stay at Cap Rocat I was 16 weeks pregnant and traveling alone. I feel obligated to warn all future guests who are considering this property about my experience. I acknowledge that it is difficult to identify the precise origin of food poisoning. In this case however, I am extremely confident my food poisoning came from food at Cap Rocat. After arriving and exploring the property in the afternoon, I ordered tagliatelle with shrimp to my room for an early dinner. Approximately four hours after my dinner, I began to experience nausea and within an hour of that vomiting began. Extreme symptoms continued for almost 10 hours after the initial onset. For the duration of my symptoms, I also requested sports drinks, water and ice, which the hotel promptly provided. Not being a health professional, and without access to my OBGYN in the United States to alleviate concerns or guide me through how I could get relief, I was extremely concerned about the health of my baby and to a lesser extent my own health. The doctor who ultimately arrived had excellent bedside manner. Her exam confirmed an elevated heart rate, but she was not able to take my temperature because she had failed to bring a thermometer, explaining the hotel had not notified her about my complaints of a suspected fever. Tests for two types of flu and covid tests all returned negative. Upon finishing the exam, she informed me that after reviewing all of my symptoms she believed I was experiencing food poisoning but without a stool sample it would be impossible to be sure. She gave me anti-nausea medicine and a pregnancy safe fever reducer. She left, and symptoms began to go away. I was not provided a copy of her report.The first indication that the Hotel was concerned about their exposure to my illness came from my travel agent (and friend) who took the initiative to call the hotel when my symptoms were extreme and a doctor was not expected to arrive for many hours. He reported back to me that the hotel was denying all responsibility for my illness. This position continued through checkout, where the hotel maintained that the doctors report indicated that my symptoms were NOT the result of food poisoning and that *if it was food poisoning* it could not have come from the hotel’s kitchens because no other guests who were consuming the hotel’s food had reported issues. Furthermore, the medical report cited by the hotel has still not been provided to me despite repeated requests to the medical group contracted by the hotel. I was hopeful that Cap Rocat would offer *some* gesture to acknowledge my less than pleasant experience that I believe resulted from a lapse in their food safety protocols. This expectation was misplaced. Ultimately the hotel staff treated me with contempt, telling me at checkout that I never had a fever nor food poisoning according to the report, despite what the doctor told me directly, face to face, and the staff refused to take any responsibility for what was quite clearly food poisoning and offered no refund or discount, and no gesture to make up for an unpleasant stay, for which I am highly confident they are to blame.

Cap Rocat is an absolutely stunning property, and the Sea Club is the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever visited. A special mention to Benjamin, who drove us to the restaurant in the buggy, he was wonderful. He went out of his way to make our evening memorable, took lovely photos, and made sure we had the best time. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Mallorca.

How to describe this place? Simply, book it (via WhatsApp) before you arrive in Palma, and enjoy traditional food and unique sunsets.

Arrived at 8pm without a reservation. We were asked if we wanted ton@ have dinner, we said yes. Ordered a drink and 2 salads. The drinks were served, no bread though. After waiting over an hour, we noticed that others who had arrived after us were already being served. We asked where our order was. We were told that those with reservations took precedence. We waited another 15 minutes by which time we had been there 1 hour 15 minutes and then we got up and paid for the drinks and left. My wife is Spanish and she pointed out that if they adopt a system of prioritising those with reservations even if they arrive after us, then they should warn the clients that they will have to wait for over an hour. We would have gone elsewhere had we known. It’s dishonest to seat people and then make them wait while others who arrive afterwards (without prior orders) get preferential treatment. Go elsewhere or be 150% certain that you get treated as a guest with “reservation”. Maybe it’s just reserved for a select bunch of friends. Oh did I mentions it’s cash only? That they did warn us about before seating us. (So why not warn us about the 1 ½ hour wait?)

Gorgeous sunset views is the biggest plus. We arrived with no reservations but only wanted to drink. The owner sent us to the “community table”. Sangria was pre-made and had fruit flies in it. Fruit flies were pretty bad. You’d spill a drop of sangria and at least 5 would be trying to get it.

Me and my boyfriend celebrated our anniversary here the other night. It was an unforgettable experience. The food was so tasty and the wine absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was very romantic and quiet with the sunset at the perfect backdrop. Staff were amazing and couldn’t do anymore for you. Very polite and attentive. However, one of the waitresses arrived at our table with some champagne and spilt it all over us which did bring attention to us and mark my dress however it dried and was very quickly cleaned up. We cannot wait to visit again and make more very special memories.

We had a lovely dinner last night at Sea Club. The atmosphere was beautiful, relaxed and elegant, with gorgeous views. My husband ordered the steak medium, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I had the chicken, and it was surprisingly moist and tender, with a delicious seasoning. Service was attentive without being overbearing. A wonderful experience overall. Would definitely return!

This is one of the best spots for a scenic view! We came for lunch and from the moment we arrived, it was wonderful. They take you on a golf cart down to the restaurant, and every seat has an incredible view. Unfortunately, the food didn’t wow us, we had the seafood paella, which was okay but not mind-blowing for the price, the beet salad (the only standout dish), and the tuna sashimi appetizer, which tasted quite fishy. The drinks were great, and the service was incredible. We’d definitely come back for drinks and appetizers. We also loved the “no phone” rule, which made everyone feel fully present!

Cap Rocat is pretty special. The setting is something else and the grounds are immaculate. Everything runs smoothly from the moment you arrive through the gates. We started with drinks on the grounds then were driven down to the Sea Club by golf buggy, which sits right by the water. The lamb and catch of the day were both deboned at the table and the sides like Mallorcan bread with tomato, potatoes and vegetables were all excellent. Dessert was great too. Service is impeccable, from the bar to the boutique to the restaurant. Everyone knows who you are and where you should be, and they can’t do enough for you. The interiors are beautiful and the boutique is worth a visit while you’re there. Photography is limited to keep things private. We loved our time here and will definitely come back to stay.

It’s hard to beat Sea Club if you’re looking for a stunning setting for a delicious seafood lunch. It was my second time (4 years later) and I was as impressed this time around. The prices are incredibly fair for the location and quality of the food. The service was excellent too and the ambience is perfect.

This rating is focusing on the food. For the price tag of 140 euros per person it was one of the most disappointing gastronomical experience. The flavour lacked in almost every dish and were very bland. Anything that was fried felt too oily. We requested at some point to skip certain stages so we can finish the meal. I also have never said this before but there are too many courses. Parts of each course felt ok but overall an extremely disappointing experience considering the price tag and environment. Restaurant service was decent. Just to add to the experience, perhaps they want to introduce the Arab flavours into the restaurant considering the hotel is trying to showcase “Arab/islamic” influence in their outfits. Lastly the experience felt not very fulfilled because restaurant is currently indoors which is fine but it doesn’t make you appreciate the property. It would be nice if the staff allowed you to at least explore part of the hotel to add to the experience. Maybe worth going for drinks when the terrace are open.

This may have been the most stunning hotel I’ve ever seen, an absolute perfect venue to celebrate my honeymoon with my wife. We very excited to eat here. The service was impeccable, from the moment you arrived. We were wondering why this place didn’t have a Michelin star. It was the food. After spending 17 days across Europe, eating a mix of fine dining, street food, and everything in between. I can confidently say this was the worse meal we had. We however did have absolute wonderful time making light of the situation. The food was so comically bad it ended up being one of the most fun nights we had. 2 stars.

Was very much looking forward to this, but even though we were going in with the most positive outlook, we were left slightly disappointed. The service was excellent and the food presentation was top notch. Also, the wine pairing and sommelier had some excellent tastes which we enjoyed. However, there were some bites that left us wanting for flavor or quality that was lacking. And one dish I decided not to finish. While the property is absolutely stunning - we are not sure we’d recommend this restaurant for the price. There were other excellent restaurants throughout Palma that were delicious and mind blowing! Also, part of my drive to come was the beautiful outdoor seating option with amazing views in the pictures - however, late September was inside. While it was still a beautiful venue, not as breathtaking as I’d hoped which could not make up for the disappointing cuisine.

We visited the Forteleza restaurant in May and were immediately impressed by the complex and the imposing buildings. The atmosphere is unique. We ate the menu, and every single course was fantastic. We chose the Majorkan menu and a classic menu. The different ingredients were unique, and both menus were delicious. The suggested wines were always matching and rounded off the dinner perfectly. The only negative point which put a damper on this perfect dinner was the attitude of the staff towards outside guests. One does not feel equally welcome. If external guests are not wanted, then bookings should not be allowed.

The setting and dining experience at La Fortaleza are truly stunning, from the moment you arrive, it feels special. Service and food were outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. That said, after spending €800 for dinner for two, we were told we couldn’t enjoy a cocktail in the outside area because this was available for hotel guests only. This left a sour note after such an expensive evening. For a restaurant of this level, a bit more flexibility and hospitality would have been expected. I recommend buying a cocktail before you pay, so you can enjoy it outside.

I repeat every year. They have an amazing menu with many different flavors from Mallorca. You can start with a cocktail or maybe a glass of wine while you enjoy the appetizers looking at the nightfall. Then they’ll take you to your table and continue with the menu. Every step of it is worth it, you’ll find high quality and fresh ingredients mixed with the perfect seasoning on each plate. My last year favorites were the lobster and the black pork ( which I’ll try to post a pic ). I don’t drink wine, but they have an extended drinks menu and the sommelier Lucas really knows what he’s talking about. Everyone there were really nice and polite making my experience even better. I already booked my reservation for this year in June and I cannot wait to see what they have prepared. This is one of the best restaurants in Mallorca and I don’t understand how can they not have the Michelin star they deserve.

If you complaint about this place being expensive, go to Palma and you’ll find out what expensive means! The food was excellent! I come from a small island with plenty of traditional fish recipes, and it didn’t disappoint! I kept saying to my partner “how come we only found this place on our last day”. If you don’t believe us, just look at the video! The portions were generous and the staff were super friendly, at least to us! We are not spanish although we learned Spanish and speak fluently. But please, don’t go to a restaurant a start asking questions in other languages apart from English and Spanish, and expect the people that work there to answer you! We witness this, and it is super disrespectful. Know your Spanish, even if it’s a simple Hola or Gracias!

We found this place out of pure luck, had to leave our hotel so we hired mopeds for the day before our flight home. We had a quick search on Google maps and chose Cas Busso. The location is stunning and the food was traditional and very rustic. We had the mixed grill and the pork with cabbage. I must say , it does come with ALOT of cabbage! Super tasty all in all. And the chickens wondering around are just a bonus.

It was simply incredible! We ordered the paella for two, but it could easily feed four people!! This was the most delicious paella I’ve ever had in my life. The fish and calamari were also outstanding. The portions were huge. The waiters were extremely attentive and kind! I absolutely recommend this place without hesitation!

A very very good and nice traditional restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious! During the time, I tested similar dishes in different places here in Mallorca, and frito mallorquin is the best I ever ate, chuletas de cordero, any dish with cordero or conejo are great. Lomo con col is an unbelievable dish! A must try! Bon apetit.

Staff are awesome, very welcoming and friendly, sincere emotion. They enjoy the workplace. Venue is placed strategically at main road. Parking possible but lacks in amount, helps the venue's environment with healthy flow of costumers. State of menu reduced the presentation rating but the food helped it be irrelevant to an extent. Does also match the vintage style of the interior which shows attitude and personality, personal rating of 5 starts. Menu does lack in variety, Gluten free options possible and allergies are mentioned and respected. Payed €22 for two coffees and a drink, a starter and the biggest burger. Affordable price.

Burgers were great really delicious. They asked us if we want a dessert and we said no but they brought us one for free! That made our day and dessert was delicious. If you are visiting Mallorca you should definitely come here to eat!

Amazing place to eat different kind of burger meat (ostrich, camel, deer, beef, angus, etc.,). The cakes are homemade by one of the staff members, and are absolutely delicious. Good variety of beers, including several of the Spanish best ones (Red Vintage, Mahou Maestra, Alhambra 1925). Everyone is very kind and helpful here. Another must for our list of gourmet restaurants.

I have mixed feelings about La Finca at Son Antem. Set within an old building on the golf complex, it’s been transformed into a restaurant with rustic charm, though it comes with a price tag. We went for the €38 per person lunch option, which offered a fixed menu. The starters were a few tapas to share—Padron peppers, some rather bland mussels, and a few pieces of fried squid. They were decent, but given we were a group of four adults, the portion felt small. For the main course, we had a seafood paella. It was generously seasoned to the point of being a bit overdone, and came with a few large prawns each. I’d rate it a 7/10. Desserts were limited to a choice of ice cream, pineapple, or panna cotta, with the set menu including one drink per person. We decided to try an additional ensaimada dessert, described as having white chocolate, but it was more like a deconstructed bread and butter pudding. The overall experience left me disappointed. The service was also lacking, with a mix of arrogance and impatience that didn’t make us feel welcome. At one point, the waiter even made my son move seats, which felt unnecessary and odd.

We ate as a family. We received three dishes and the two others for children's, 30 minutes later. Regardless, the staff was extremely rude and even unprofessional. When we explained our dissatisfaction, instead of apologizing and making a gesture, they proposed to cancel the two unserved dishes even though the children had been waiting for half an hour and were hungry. The food is mediocre; the children's hamburger consisted of barely two buns and a meat dish, with no sauce, vegetables, or cheese. Once we received the bill, they mistakenly added €20. A very touristy restaurant, completely unprofessional. Not recommended.

Lukewarm Gambas, maybe warmed up in microwave oven, after 5 min they were cold. Tasteless as the other food we got. Salad had no interesting dressing as you would get on a Avocado/Gambas salad. Highly priced. Absolutely not to be considered if you know how good prepared food needs to taste.

It's a Marriott so you can't expect value. Overall it was fine. overpriced as all hotels. nothing great and nothing terrible. But despite being on the Marriott property they didn't give either thr owner discount or room charge.

And usually I would not write the review but I just want to say that this was one of the best places that we dined in while visiting Palma. We have received excellent service and there was such a lovely family atmosphere in the restaurant! We have ordered sea bass and it was cooked to perfection. I’m not sure why this restaurant has low rating, this should definitely be rated much higher! I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant if you’re in the area! Seemed more interested in chatting to other tables and to the person behind the bar than acknowledging our very existence. I don't expect instant recognition and service but 5 minutes going by, with only 3 more tables and not even a look from the waiter... poor show. Won't be going back to see if their food is actually any good, but if I do t get decent service then the food can be amazing... I still won't go back.

Quality food for fish lovers. This restaurant has a hi standard when it comes to food. Good olive oil and tasty olives and fresh bread... We had the tuna carpaccio and it was excellent. And the mixed fish dish was very nice. Great place to eat and prices are okay.

I had a 250-gram T-bone steak, ordered rare — perfectly cooked to the point. The meat was incredibly tender and full of flavor, lightly salted and simply perfect. It was served with delicious homemade fries and a small side salad. When my girlfriend accidentally dropped her knife, a new one was brought to her immediately — very attentive service. The owner was exceptionally friendly, and the chef, who also spoke good German, was very polite and attentive as well. The food overall was excellent. The aioli we ordered was homemade, as was the honey-mustard sauce — both outstanding. We were also served warm, crispy slices of German bread fresh from the oven. All in all, everything was just perfect. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re on Mallorca.

One of several restaurants the middle of Llucmajor on Placa Espanyol and goes us, one of the best. The emphasis here is on meat although there are a couple off meat-free dishes. And the meat is very good. Nachos and tortilla as starters were delicious. The ribs were cooked perfectly and - cliche or not - the meat literally fell off the bone. The vegetables were also cooked to perfection, firm and with plenty of flavor. We would have loved to try the desserts, which looked and sounded great, but we're simply couldn't: We ended up taking leftovers home in a doggy bag... Next time!

We visited the restaurant around 8:30pm without a reservation. We tried to get a table for dinner. One of the staff told us they would close at 10 and they still could serve us. Then, we went back to the hotel upstairs and dropped off our stuffs. It took us only 5 minutes and we went down again. One of the staff with black uniform and black hair, who told us they were fully booked and no more food could serve us. By the way, there were so many empty tables. He told us to go away and try something at the plaza area. He was very rude. I cannot believe as a service like this!! After we came back from other super nice restaurant with friendly staff, this restaurant still opened with new customers. I don’t know if they just selectively picked customers or what. Luckily, we found a very nice restaurant in the plaza with super friendly staffs!! I will never pay a dime for this restaurant!!!

Excellent food in Llucmajor! We were here for the first time (but we'll definitely be coming back) and decided to order the tapas variations for two people so that we could try a little of everything. Turned out to be a great choice: we did indeed get a little of everything and all of it was very, very good. The terrace is adjacent to a pedestrian zone in the middle of Llucmajor, quiet but lively and comfortably shady. Recommended!

Unfortunately very disappointing, we were table of 6 and decided to have our last meal at the Capitan Cook, service very slow, no one seem to be interested at upselling here, we were thinking of leaving after the drinks but despite the reviews we thought we will try it, after ordering food the waiting time felt long but we didn’t mind, the waiter must have missed one meal as the last person received it after we have all finished, and on top of that the Veggie Burger was so spicy, even thou non of this is mentioned on menu, no apologies , I ordered Cesar salad, I mean it was nothing like Cesar salad, fish and chips was not great, only kids meal and BBQ ribs were fantastic…overall such a shame as the place has potential..

There are bad experiences, but this one was on another level. We just left the place, after waiting one hour for appetizers and some time after (20-30 minutes) we asked a couple of times where is our food (the main dishes). At first the waiter told us the kitchen said it will take 10 minutes more. After the minutes had passed, he came back, telling us that the kitchen did something wrong and our food is no longer coming at all. I’ve never had this happen to me at any restaurant on the planet. My family went for a celebration meal and were completely satisfied with the wholesome meals, friendly service and excellent prices. The only adverse comment I have is the 30 minute wait to settle the bill, but it was extremely busy. Nevertheless, it is Highly recommended.

An unpretentious cafe/restaurant serving good sushi and a wide menu of Chinese food. We ate here for lunch, the staff were very friendly, many locals turned up to have lunch. The sushi was fresh and well prepared, we had a platter of different types, as well as chow mein (tasty), gyoza (good and fried on one side) and a temaki salmon which was very nice. Overall we paid €92 for four and were very happy with the meal.

Sa Foganya is on the edge of Llucmajor, nowhere near the tourist area or other businesses. That's why we just discovered it after coming to the area for years. We visited this venue on a Wed lunchtime in June to basically check it's location prior to eating there on the Friday evening. Whilst there are signs as you leave the car park that guests need to be registered we naively thought that referred to the equestrian centre and not the restaurant - they are at least 200 yards apart. As we made our way to the side of the restaurant we were met by a blonde german woman and her alsatian dog. The next few minutes were bizarre and totally unexpected. To say that she was unfriendly would be to say that Trump can be a little unpredictable. She told us that we should not be on the premises unless we had registered first - this was not done in a friendly way. We tried to explain that we were checking out the restaurant and had no intention of visiting the equestrian section. At this stage we were ordered to leave the site. Again this was done in an aggressive manner. When we returned to our car we just burst out laughing unable to understand how a new restaurant could treat new customers in this way. Have completed the star rating as a means of getting this review published but cannot tell you anything about the food, ambience or service. Can tell you however that the woman who runs it has a very strange way of building it's reputation. I look forward to reading her explanation as to why she treated us this way and wish her lots of personal success for the future...

We had the Gyoza’s as a starter which were spectacular. For the main course I had some Tempura sushi (16€) & my partner had pork Taco’s (18€), which even-though a bit small, were delicious. We also ordered the pink lady cocktails and they were very nice as well. That said, if there’s any compliments to give to this restaurant, they should 100% go towards the kitchen staff. The table service was horrible. We had a reservation at 21:00, at that time only 5 other tables were present. We got given the food menu and when asking for the drinks menu they said they don’t have one. We got told the cocktail we chose was 10,50. we later got charged 12.00 for each one. May I add it took 45 (!!) minutes for us to get a drink. After 1 hour we got our gyozas (9€) & main course quite soon after that. When finished we wanted to order desserts, but again, no menu for it. The waiter recommended my partner a dulce de leche culan (8€), and I ordered vanilla & chocolate ice cream (€5,50) We waited another, kid you not, 45 minutes(!!!!) on the desserts, and when asking for the desserts we got an annoyed waiter telling us how they didn’t even have chocolate ice cream, and starting listing of a completely different memorized desserts list. We ordered again and after 10 minutes we finally got our desserts, We were not happy with them at all. The culan ended up being pure chocolate, no dulce de leche to be found and my ice cream, well, they could’ve just called it a milkshake. It was also chocolate, that they said they didn’t have to begin with? It was so melted that I think they had it out for the 45 minutes already and just forgot to bring it to us. We asked for the check, and even for that after waiting for 20 minutes again, we had to go inside ourselves since they did not bring us the check after asking for it twice so we paid and left. CONCLUSION: Maybe we just went on a bad day but the waiter staff should really try to be more organized, without the menus, each waiter told us different options, prices etc. There were maybe 12 tables the whole night and with 2 waiters & 2 kitches staff, it should not have taken 2,5 hours for us to get dinner. The waiters never apologized for any of the wrong food nor the long wait times and they make us question if we ever want to come back. The food was really nice, but for 80€ for 2 people on Mallorca, you can find more quantity & nicer service in other places.

We've dined here many times, including at the Majoris location, and it used to be an excellent spot for Japanese and Mexican cuisine. While the prices were always on the higher side, the quality made it worthwhile. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. A fast food diner on the corner with nice burgers for those cheap prices. What lowers the score is that it took ages to even get to ask for the check and when they finally gave us the bill they totally forgot about us and the waiter stood by the door for a smoke right infront of the bar and then went on to the other costumers. After waiting 10 minutes (after receiving the bill) i just went to the bar and said can we pay and leave! But the food itself was good for that price.

Not as good as expected...The place is well decorated but very loud. We ordered two types of paella and they were so dreadfully salty. Staff said chef would remake one of them and they offered more lemon but when you're in a group of 8 waiting for another paella is not an option. Shame as it had potential but you'd better like salt!!

Mixed vibes, some visits great others not so. Had 2 coffees at the club and was surprised it was under €4. Also had a glass of wine and a small beer and again only came to €6. However they don't do other drinks like cocktails and don't have a drinks menu other than a wine menu. We also noticed some customers having complementary nuts, but we didn't get any offered. The meal we had was nice but quite expensive. I would recommend choosing the dish of the day as this was only €11. Some staff were abrupt and not helpful, they need to keep the customers happy if they want you to return.

My friends and I are from the US and most of our party were Mexican Americans so our expectations of this place were not much. We were all delightfully surprised. Aside from the premade taco shells, which were not surprising, all of the tacos were delicious and flavorful. We also got the buffalo wings and fries, both of which were also delicious and true to the wings we eat at home. We all loved our experience there and the biker bar ambiance was also true to home. The staff were marvelous. However, there is not a single restaurant or bar in the US that allows smoking within proximity of diners...that was quintessentially European. We laughed at the rebel flag which has become a symbol of great division at home. I would go back to this place any day!

We chanced on this delightful restaurant and were so impressed by the owner’s enthusiasm that we booked lunch for the following day. What a treat! Lovely home cooked food and great draft Estrella beef. We had the amazingly priced lunch menu: choice of two starters, two mains and two desserts or coffee for €15 each. I had a really nice, fresh salad to start and my wife had grilled vegetable skewer followed by cod with aioli, sautéed potatoes and onions followed by lovely homemade cheesecake and coffees. All for €40 inclusive of a tip. Superb value in a beautiful, authentic courtyard setting. These guys work really hard to ensure that a good time is enjoyed by all. Heartily recommended!
