I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Taverne Romaine and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality—warm, welcoming, and consistently attentive throughout our visit. Their professionalism and genuine friendliness significantly enhanced the overall atmosphere. The interior of the restaurant is tastefully designed, striking a perfect balance between stylish sophistication and cozy comfort. It provides a relaxed yet refined setting that complements the quality of the cuisine. Our party of three all ordered the same dish, and it was nothing short of outstanding. The restaurant "La Taverne Romaine" is a well knowed place in Abidjan. It's perfect for business lunches. The food is very tasty and the quantity is sufficient. Really, no need a starter ! main and dessert are largely sufficient ! Recommanded !

I'm assuming the easiest thing for a restaurant in a French influenced country to get right is a steak. I ordered the most basic thing to order so they wouldn't mess it up. But in vain because when the steak arrived it was chewy, and only reason it was moist was because of the blood. I had asked for the serve of mine to be medium-well done . Also The veggies tasted unappetizing and looked unappealing. The accompanied sauces are charged extra. I honestly don't know if I'd visit again. My money would've definitely been better utilized at a maquis(in terms of taste and money's worth). The 1 stars is for the service, ambience and decor.

I went for dinner with friends at about 20:00 on a Sunday night without reservations and we got in just fine. Based on a friend's recommendation, I got the ox tail and it was delicious. The portion size was generous and the meat was perfectly cooked, falling off the bone. The night we went the music included a lot of American Top 40 hits from the 2000s. It was unexpected and a weird juxtaposition with the decor and theme of the restaurant, but we really enjoyed it.

A lovely lunch. The greeting dish is a surprise. Fried banana and another unknown vegetable, with 4 kinds of sources, bring a very good experience. The main course are OX tail and xx leaf with seafood. The OX tail is soft enough, and maintains its original flavor. The leaf is not my taste, the seafood is fresh but that’s, nothing special. Besides, the table and chair is not clean with lots of breadcrumbs. Recommend.

Wow, what a great welcome! Simple menu, but such a lovely, calm vibe. The starters were nice, with a good spicy sauce selection. I had the beef Choukouya with spinach and rice – amazing combo, and the most unique spices I've ever tasted on beef! The lamb and beef were both so succulent. I'd totally recommend it; the service was great too.

Saakan has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Abidjan. The food is succulent. You can tell that the ingredients of each dish were curated to create tasty and well balanced plates. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy.

The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The place is beautifully decorated. My friends and I are from Haïti. We heard of a place using our djondjon (black mushroom) to achieve one of our traditional rice dishes. I almost cried at how delicious it tasted. Thank you to the staff and the crew playing beautiful music. I strongly recommend this place. Also the spicy sauce!! We all wanted to take it home!

One of the classy restaurants in Abidjan. I went on Sunday afternoon and it was very, very crowded so the spotty services is understandable . The sausage and hummus were delicious, as we the bread! . I wanted to try some more delicacies but gave up after asking for the menu twice. I also wanted to have some cheese with wine but that was a big miss I’ll chalk up to cultural differences.

We sat outside beside the pool. The place is beautiful and the food is really good. Service was excellent. A lovely evening, made very special.

Very nice Lebanese food. The place has been renovated recently and the indoor space is really nice. Best Middle East food in Abidjan if you ask me. More on the expensive side. I love the amount and variety of bread served on the table for free. I really liked the Mtabal and the grilled halloumi 👌🏾

This place was closed for some time for renovations; the recently reopened restaurant has a large outdoor seating area, and serves delicious meze! Both taste and presentation were genuinely great. They could have been more generous with the warm bread, however (only one small flat bread per person), and it took quite some time to be able to pay the bill. They have a pool, too, that looks tempting - not sure if and when it’s for swimming in. I’ll be back.

A Lebanese restaurant with a really nice ambience. The food was okay but be ready to spend sometime looking through the menu cause it’s quite complicated. There’s also a pool where you can cool off, a tennis court and football court.

Our group of 17 enjoyed a delightful lunch with us sitting in 2 tables. We preordered our appetizer, main, and dessert with great French cuisine. Food was great, especially fish. Service was great too. we enjoyed seeing the kids on the little playground. There was several groups with private events, all in secluded areas, so we felt as if we had our own private venue. Restroom requires 2 steps up. Parking in lot is free.

A hidden gem along the lagoon in Abidjan. Not a great spot if rain is in the forecast but otherwise an excellent choice. It's a bit off the beaten path and getting through the bus station can be a bit of an experience, but the food, location, and views are definitely worth it. Dining is outdoors and there are tables suitable for couples and groups. The menu has enough variety that everyone will find something they enjoy. As it's outside, bring bug spray.

If you’re visiting Abidjan, Le Débarcadère is a spot worth checking out. It’s an open-air restaurant right on the riverbank, offering beautiful views and a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the entrecôte (rib-eye steak), which came flame-grilled with salt and pepper, plus a mushroom sauce on the side. The steak itself wasn’t my favorite, but honestly, the scenery and ambiance make up for it. Overall, this is the kind of place where you go to enjoy the riverside setting, good music, and a laid-back meal. Definitely a nice stop for tourists who want to soak in Abidjan’s charm.

Lovely restaurant by the water. The service was fast, and the food delicious. My husnand had the steak and potatoes and I had the galette forestiere. Come in for the view.

Food was very fresh, I had the half grilled chicken which was standard for Abidjan nothing special. These dishes are accompanied with a small salad, a tomato and chilli dipping sauce. The Grilled courgette and tomato with garlic butter was OUTSTANDING, which happens to be the highlight food wise on this trip to the Ivory Coast. My colleague had snails which were huge and well presented, I cannot comment on the taste as it is not something I can bring myself to try, however his plate was fi ished and judging by his comments were well enjoyed. The views overlooking the river where very good. The bill overall was 22 000 CFA which is well priced which included a few sides and drinks.

Came with a few friends, we loved the atmosphere. Burgers, ribs, and the other food we ordered are nice and the price is decent. However we hope there will be an increase in drinks choices for cocktails. Ample of red wine selections for any wine lovers.

We went as a big group, took Al quite a long time for everyone to get their food and drinks even though we sent out order out the day before. Besides that, the food, drink and everything was absolutely delicious.

This restaurant gives a nod to an industrial atmosphere, with its high ceilings, brick wall-papered walls and its furniture and decor in dark shades. Servers are pleasant. Food took quite a long time to get to the table and was just barely warm. The grilled tiger prawns (gambas) had a delicious seasoning and were succulent, but unfortunately one of the prawns (out of two) was slightly undercooked. I ate everything, though, because I was afraid if taken back to the grill they would get overcooked. It came with a portion of sautéed potatoes and a portion of a minty sauce that I did not like. The Alfredo vegetarian pasta was cooked al dente and was good, although quite spicy. The Virgin Raspberry Lemonade was refreshing but I don't consider that the price matches the (non-)complexity of the drink. All in all, I liked the meal but consider that, for the price range, more attention has to be paid to details like from-order-to-table timeframe and the temperature of the dishes when they arrive at the table.

The menu has changed and prices are higher. On my last visit, the jerk oxtail dish was not available. I ended up getting the jerk chicken, but it was underwhelming in taste and had nothing to do with Jamaican jerk chicken. I was disappointed. REVIEW FROM 6 YEARS AGO : beautifully decorated restaurant serving typical and more southern american dishes. Fresh and flavorful food. The jerk oxtail is my favorite dish. The meat falls off the bone. However the cookie was not good. It seemed like it was made out of cheap ingredients; especially the chocolate chips.

Great staff and decoration! The raspberry mojito is my favourite drink! The shrimp popcorn and their sauce are amazing and the little starter bread buns are a delight. I would recommend.

Food wasn't to my taste, almost all chunks of fat and not meat. And the meat wasn't tender. While price was close to 30eur for a meal and two beers.

My first time in a sushi/"japanese" restaurant. Honestly didn't know a thing about the different recipes except from Tempura fried and common ones like shashimi. So Im not sure of my rating. It was good and seemed fresh. I'm not a connoisseur or fan. The wasabi was good. You have asahi beer and nice sake. The setting is relaxing and you have the choice to eat at a bar kitchen with the chef cooking in front of you. It's not an open space but outside access is available downstairs. Prices are above average and payment by card is accepted. The waiters are helpful and know the dishes . Portions can be small though. Toilets are clean and tidy. The restaurant is on the first floor and you have a bar there. On ground floor, you have a 'cigar' corner with a nice bar. Smoking is obviously allowed there. Parking are available outside and secured.

Every time we go to this restaurant, the top quality is the same. Friendly staff, the owner Mme Elham let you feel like at home... a luxury service that we don't find everywhere. I discovered 13 different flavors of moshi & they are homemade! Just exquisite! Downstairs, there is this cozy lounge bar for 50 persons. It gives good ideas for some interesting events to plan. Highly recommended for families, couples, and businesses.

Had made a reservation for a big group and confirmed with the restaurant, however, last minute a bunch dropped out, but when we got there, the owner was more then happy to re arrange the table settings for us and accomodate us despite the disturbance. Food was great, service was top notch, so was the atmosphere. I would definately recommend this to anyone who fancies trying/eating sushis in town in a very well designed and cozy restaurant.

Got invited to dinner here by a friend who describes this restaurant as one of his favorites in town. The restaurant is artsy and mostly outdoors with the option of reserving a private room for parties of probably 8+. The food was fresh and relatively tasty, but nothing impressive. Dishes do not taste traditional. I would say the food caters to an international / foreign crowd. Service was excellent.

I liked the decor of the place and I enjoyed the food a lot. Can't speak much of its authenticity since I recently arrived to visit the country, but they did have Ivorian dishes and they did taste amazing (was there with an Ivorian and that person confirmed). Stepping into Bushman Cafe is like stepping into the house of someone who has travelled the world and brought back beauty from every corner of the continent. We were a small group visiting for dinner, one of our members was a band mate and we were invited to play on stage for a few songs. Very impromptu and spontaneous. It was a lovely experience. The food was amazing that evening, and afterwards we received some time with the owner and were treated to a personal tour exploring the whole Restaurant/House. It is an artistic extravaganza of all different mediums and to get to hear and see it through the eyes of the one who curated it was a beautiful exchange. This is an ambiance where the love for art triumphs over perfection. The food was delicious, and we didn’t have any wait time in that regard. For those who did, perhaps you may not be experienced or familiar with the casual or slower pace of some African eateries. This is a meeting place to sit and look someone at the table in the eyes and engage in inspiring conversation. Take in the surrounding beauty, be with the place, and witness some spontaneous magical moments should they arrive. Hats off to the owner and the staff here and wish you the best success and continued fostering of the artists spirit. And, try their chocolate! It’s delicious and top notch!

The café has an eclectic decor, featuring a wide array of art, antiques, and sculptures. The walls are all huged with framed pictures and artwork, and the first floor ceiling draped with white fabric. Out of that hallway is a stair case with draping natural plant roots. The café has rooms, so also serve as a hotel, a rooftop restaurant, art space, concept store, and museum. The receptionist was really helpful and helped translate some words to the servers at the cafe area. (Although she didn't know much English herself 😉) We were served free cocoa tea, which was delicious. Although we came way earlier than their opening time, they still had patience and accommodated us. Food and music upstairs is a vibe. The whole environment is calming even though you're in the city. 100% recommended.

Still one of the nicest maquis to have braised fish and a good beer. Three thing though: - a bad smell near the spot - waitress was stressed and struggling. Some customers even left without being paid. It's maybe not her fault but they need to find a solution or they'll lose money and customer. - finally my wife and me we got some food poisoning. Considering we didn't are the same thing for lunch I can only blame the place. So I hope they will work on these topics or else they'll lose customers again.

I tried poulet braisé and carpe braisée. I fairly enjoyed them! If you're first time trying Ivorian food here, it's always a great place. It feels like tastes are made so that even foreigners can eat well. The foods are decent and balanced so that no matter what menu you order it tastes as expected. The customer service was fine and they were committed to explaining the menu enough with patience to foreigners. The main reason behind its popularity are believed to be its spacious, open atmosphere and wide variety of menu choices. There are fans only inside the restaurant, so it can be a bit muggy.

Horrible but I give them the benefit of the doubt as I was told the service is normally perfect. Anyway we were served +1hour after ordering. Everyone was polite and we didn't really understood the issue. In the end straight communication even when a problem arise could have lessen our frustration. Food was OK by the end. I guess I loss my appetite. A bit overpriced. Will have another try maybe. But not straight away.

Restaurant Regina Margherita is absolutely fabulous! The interior is inviting, sparkling clean, and classy. The attentive wait staff is extremely kind, helpful and gracious. The food is absolutely delicious. If you are not a fan of Salad dressing, and you do order the Chilled Shrimp, Avacado appetizer, I do recommend that you request that the Salad dressing be put on the side. Otherwise, you may find your shrimp swimming in salad dressing, as did we. Thank you, Restaurant Regina Margherita, for a wonderful evening! I had fish (ocean fish like seabass) the other night, but in the morning i vomitted all, i suppose they had not cooked it well and i got poisoned, i assure you i did not eat anything suspicious before or after. Never again!

Had the Merou with mushroom cream sauce served with mixed vegetables, steamed brussel sprouts, and rice. The mushroom cream sauce was delicious and pared well with the perfectly cooked flaky white fish. Portions were generous and filling. At 40,000 CFA for an entree and a coke this isn't a place I would frequent on a casual basis. Definitely a great restaurant for a nice evening out with elegant decor and an accommodating wait staff. You get what you pay for when all things are considered. Recommend.

What a lovely restaurant. Received a warm welcome by the host and our table (group of 20) was decked out beautifully. Service was warm and friendly and the food of a high quality. This restaurant would not have been out of place in cities such as London or Paris. Very nice indeed.

My family and I went for Valentine's Saturday night dinner. The ambience was so chill and relaxing. The music was perfect. The staff was very friendly and even offered a colouring book and pencil for my daughter as entertainment! I can't stress how much the food was great. Overall, the experience was great in every way.

This place has a great ambience, nice lighting and lovely view. With that said the food was dry, not made to order (our steaks), and very small in size and poor quality. Coupled with pretty outrageous prices and a rude waitress tonight I can’t recommend this place other than coming for drinks perhaps. We literally just asked for a menu because the menu is written in cursive on a chalk board so you cannot see it clearly, waitress had a bad attitude like we asked her for money 🙄. Fix these things and I think it has good potential.

First time I went there. Configured quite differently to the other restaurant. You made multiple private rooms depending on the number of people. Very private with closed curtains. Then you have open spots in a garden at the back or near a big pool. The outside spots are lovely. Especially at night. Can't say about the prices as it was a private birthday. It seems they do lot of private events, ( birthdays, dinners etc even corporate ones? Food , well it was ok. But the names and what was served well its completely different . It's worth discovering at least once I'll say. Parking are available. The personnel seems to be helpful though there's a place for improvement.

The Comptoir has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Abidjan. I eat lunch several times each month and I have yet to be disappointed with the prix fixed menu. The food is fresh and flavorful. Beautiful decor and atmosphere as well as great service. We did have a slight issue with the oysters being improperly shucked leaving bits and pieces of shell in the meat but the manager to whom we mentioned this took it in grace which was lovely. Even still the oysters were very fresh, and we all pretty much loved the meals on our table. The price are luxury based so it’s going to cost you to dine here but i’d say it’s well worth it.

Don't be misled by the exterior. The interior is very well decorated. A bit too much for me but it depends on the taste. Parking is available on the front and you'll get help if you get lost due to the high traffic. You have a choice between the Italian or french side. The waiters are very niced. I went during lunch and it was very calm. The food is good, well cooked. I went to the french side. Prices are a bit average, seems to be a gastronomical restaurant.. dunno as I'm not an advocate. Payment by card is possible. Toilets are clean. It's worth trying.

The food was amazing...I’d suggest the management to train their staff around allergies and what especially GLUTEN intolerance means. I had the Chateaubriand with Foie Gras - however even with the explanation on allergies and the promise of no wheat, there was a piece of toast under the steak. Don’t have untrained staff ruin what you offer here. The desserts were also well enjoyed by everyone.

Which is a good sign. The menu is very exhaustive. We ordered 3 starters. Not deceived. They're good. Was deceived by the main course. Portions are small but with the starters it's ok. Price is average. Starters between 3000-5000cfa. Main plate between 5000 and up. They have a wine menu if you're an amateur. Out of three beer they had only one. The main course is ok. Taste is good. Well seasoned. Service is decent , within 15-20min. Starters within 10-15min. The only stuff I was not comfortable was the smell . It had this smell of moisture. Like I said it's old. And the place needs some renovation. Payment by cash and card is accepted. Can't confirm for mobile money. Take away is possible. It's not an halal place. Their pork soup was tasty.

Nuit de Saigon is my favorite Asian restaurant. The food is specialized in Vietnamese food and is excellent. As the years goes by, the food remains divine and the staff incredible. I always take the soja salad and fried rice with chicken skewers and it is extremely delicious. The price is also reasonable. The atmosphere is very cozy and embraces the Asian theme; there is also a pond where you can see fish swimming. Although it is perfect, the reason why I gave 4 stars is because the service can be extremely slow. However, it’s a wonderful place to relax and have a good time. UPDATE: Last time I was at Nuit de Saïgon was in 2018. I ate there with my siblings yesterday and I noticed an increase in price of the menu and a decrease in food portion. My sister ordered prawns skewers and they served two skewers with three prawns each. However the food is still succulent. The service was okay except for the fact that it was difficult to get ahold of the waiters sometimes. For three people we spent 51,500 CFA. I will still recommend

Food is good, it’s always been and I’ve been going to this place for close to 15 years now. However, service has degraded, it’s gotten quite slow. The spot isn’t as clean anymore either .. As a kid i used to love watching the different fish swim in the aquariums or in the artificial pond. I was there 3 days ago with my niece, the fish are no more. The little bridge over the pond doesn’t look safe to be walked on anymore .. A shame because it was a cute addition for kids !

Some of the food here was REALLY lovely and impressive 😳 The dishes were prepared with care and good ingredients, felt like coming home to someone you know is a good cook. However, the ambiance brought down the experience - all the guests were seated by the patio area, except one elderly white couple who basically got to have the restaurant for themselves, and it felt claustrophobic and stressful. The light in the patio area had a tired, hospital gleam, we had an artificial wall on one side of us and half a brick wall on the other, basically sitting right next to a couple who were playing clips on their phones out loud. As the delicious food is really quite expensive it would be nice to ENJOY the food better, and the atmosphere felt more stressful than enjoyable. Lastly, the staff repeatedly acted on gender stereotypes which felt a bit weird, e.g. the males get a menu with prices listed and females one without prices, assuming the white wine is for female company and meat for male etc. I will come back for the food, but make sure to request a more spacious table arrangement.

High class restaurant for people who want good food but aren't afraid to spend money

The la terrace first restaurant in abidjan which delivered the best buffet lunch since I moved in abidjan. Embassy of Pakistan hosted a welcome lunch I asked the restaurant if they can manage to do buffet lunch on such a short notice. I was surprised and happy they were so accommodating and helpful in each and every way to make this event memorable for all their guests. The small little extra details representing Pakistan was like a cherry on top. Now if I talk about the food everything was fresh and well presented their chicken tikka masala and grill chicken was the highlight of the buffet. Chef’s salad fattouch and hummus were delicious. Overall the food taste and quantity was good. Special thanks to Mr Bhaa for helping me out in every way possible and making the the event successful. Kudos to the management and team !

Was looking forward to this restaurant and some well-made Lebanese food, but must say I was really disappointed. Spicy hummus and mohummara were too salty, the muhammara so salty that it was inedible. Ordered a drink without syrup, sugar, chocolate sauce etc but was served an unbearably sweet drink nonetheless. No one even asked if the food was ok although the manager was there and lots of staff. Asked for the Wifi code three times before my phone was taken away to the manager who hoards the code, however the wifi wasnt functioning either way. Mixed grill meat was flavourful and the tabbouleh really nice, but given the prices I didnt feel this place lived up to expectations at all. I wouldve given only one star had it not been for the tray of fruits served after the meal which was really nice, apart from that not a particularly soulful or friendly place.

After many months of anticipation, we finally went for an afterwork at La Terrasse, but what a huge disappointment that was. Food came super fast, i'd say within 15 minutes of ordering, however, it was cold and super bland. It makes you wonder where the mixed grill on skewers had been sitting despite it coming with little pieces of burning charcoal underneath. The bread was just dry ... also very much unimpressed with the place itself, on pictures it looks great, but in real life, it's pretty average. Friendly service is all i can really comment on positively.

This restaurant offering Chinese dish is located at the heart of the district of Abidjan called Zone 4, one of the very nicest of the Ivorian economical capital. Not the same espace mima I knew. The food, the quality and the service has changed. Even the waiters seem resigned and looked gloom. I ordered some skewer. I couldn't even say which fish i was eatint. It was oily and seemed like an old fish or fried in used oil. As I was eating attieke with it, normally it's served with onions and sliced tomatoes. My god ...seems it was rationed. Finally my plate was dull and I ate cause it was nearly 22:30 and we waited over 1 hour. The portions of the fries and the fries itself were already cold. No seasoning and it not provided on the table. Even tissue paper is not provided anymore. You should request it. The grilled chicken was tasteless and cold. La soupe du pêcheur and kedjenou was good though. Despite all this, the price seems to have increased.. Plates are around 8000-15000. For that much you can eat way better in Abidjan even in a small maquis. No need for fancy stuff. Was quite deceived as it was one of the first restaurant I discovered with colleagues when I arrived in Abidjan and it has changed and not for the best. After all this you even make an abstraction of the scenery..... I understand more the reviews. You can come for a drink but that's all...

Marvelous !! Pardon my French... the lack of! This is a nice venue, overlooks the water, you can watch the sunset, watch the TV. Wait staff is attentive, eager and helpful. The rabbit (I know!) stew was very flavorful broth. I had mine with rice. I found out I enjoy rabbit more than chicken now. Enough of a dish for 2 servings. Merci ! My table said the snail and aloco dishes were very tasty also.

Wonderful setting, both indoors and outdoors! This restaurant offers a beautiful interior for intimate lunches and dinners, but also has a vast garden and pool area, opening out onto the lagoon. The decor is warm and welcoming with several touches of Indian decor. The food was quite good! Very delicious, and the portions are just right. If you love spicy food, be sure to mention it, because medium wasn't spicy enough for me. The food does take quite long to arrive as well, so be patient. One thing was quite odd, they have a Chinese menu... at an Indian place... The service was really good too, but they seem to be overstaffed, if that's possible. Lots of waiters hovering, but still great service. Strange thing though: the waiters don't bring the bills, nor do they collect the money themselves. It's done by what seemed to be the manager? Kind of weird. Overall good experience, tasty food, great service and beautiful atmosphere!

It's in an excellent place for a weekend lunch or dinner with family and friends. The ambiance was great, the location perfect, and the Menu selection was ideal. Although any food delivery takes longer than expected, mostly our appetite will go by the time, the chef should concentrate on the taste to get Five Stars for sure.

Located close to the lagoon shoreline, in what seems like the pool area of one the houses that make up this neighborhood, Indian by Nature was an unexpected surprise. For starters, it has the best service I have ever witnessed in Abidjan! Waiters and waitresses were always on top of things and checking if everything was as we wanted, but never overwhelming. The restaurant is distributed in two areas, one around the pool, and another which one could say is roughly facing the lagoon. Furniture and decor are in dark, elegant shades. Several fans do their best to cool down the Abidjan heat. The long menu makes choosing something difficult, but, as in many Indian restaurants, it is separated into types of dishes (fish/meat/seafood/vegetarian/etc.). We had Jeera Aloo and Gobi Matar Massala, both a feast to our taste buds, which we paired with Plain rice. They have an interesting wine list which will cater to most wine enthusiasts and several cocktails.

This place has one of the biggest shawarmas in town. I stopped there with friends one night after the club around 3am and we ordered 10 shawarmas. They were huge.

The place is ok. There are some performances on the weekend, which are good. Last time when we visited this place, our food was served to us after 1.5 hours of ordering. This was very annoying. Also the chicken item was not good, it was hard and tasteless. The fish was decent though.

Dig your chair into the sand, order a Beaufort or a tall bottle of freshly squeezed passion fruit juice, and enjoy all the delicious items the menu has to offer, from escargot braisé to fresh rabbit.

Nice restaurant, the cooks are fast, the cashier/manager could be friendlier with the staff working there but you can tell they are happy to be there and enjoy their job. The food was delicious, we had chicken, beef and chicken Shawarma and a burger with fries and everything was delicious. I'll totally recommend for lunch , they also have riz cantonnais from an order I heard but didnt try My daugther tangled herself in the beautiful deco/ room divider they had lol

I was dying for some old fashioned shawarma and this place was recommended but unfortunately it was just meat on a hard pita bread nothing fancy or worth it! I'm still looking! This was my 4th tryout, 4th disappointment! I ordered a take out , did not dine in. The person at the cash register was not welcoming at all but the guy who prepared the food was a chuck full of fun!

Very well known restaurant where you can eat chawarma and Lebanese food. A lot of room for improvement especially on service and cleanliness. Nobody is wearing a mask, it's one of the reason I will not recommend.

Recommended by my friends, Zawat lived up to the expectations. We were greeted at the door with a warm welcome and service was always top notch throughout the meal. The restaurant has three dinning areas -- one a non-smoking, from what I understood -- all with different contemporary décors, and one decorated with several Lebanese items. There is an outdoor area with a pool and a bar. The lobby has a display of their daily fresh produce. The food was well prepared and tasty, from the super smooth hummus, the pepper sauce (I don't recall the name), and the Harra potatoes; vegetables were crunchy and very fresh; the mint lemonade was also very good, although a bit too sweet for me.  While you wait for your food, borrow one of their checkers/chess boards and exercise your brain while you have some fun.

I tried Zawat a bit early on Thursday night around 8 pm. It wasn't crowded considering it was early and a weekday. The service was quick and friendly. The food was good except for the warak enab it was too salty and was barely stuffed. The place has a pretty setting with calm lebanese music playing, I like the ambiance. The one negative thing is that some of the staff were sitting on the floor near the saj area. I would go back again.

The Lebanese mezza was very delicious, but the "poulet à la crème" not so good, the sauce is fine but the chicken was very well cooked and hard to bite.

First of all I will like to say that I discovered them on Facebook, and being a meat lover I used to spend my nights dreaming about their food while watching their videos. Based on the media I had very high expectations because the food really looks good on pictures and videos. Anyway, it took me three years to finally go to Texas Grillz. Few months ago authorities demolished Texas Grillz 2 which was a bummer because I heard it had a nice atmosphere; as a result my fiancé and I decided to go to the first one. Atmosphere: The first impression I had was “uh?”. It’s located in a small place with the tables in open air. I later heard that there is also a place where you can eat inside but it’s actually smaller than the outside. The down side about that is not that the place is small and in open air, but just the scenery around. Texas Grillz 1 is near a broken road and it’s just not appealing to the eyes. However, I know this is where its owner first started before extending to a much nicer place at Texas Grillz 2, so this is a very humble beginning and I won’t blame him. The up is that it’s so awesome to see the cooks doing your food while you’re seated, and the smell that comes from it is just incredible. Food: As soon as we arrived one woman asked my significant other and I where we wanted to sit we consequently told her and we were seated in less than 5 mins. The woman (maybe the manager) asked a waitress to take care of us but the waitress just vanished (for unknown reasons) so later on a waiter took over our table. I’ll have to say that he was very friendly and available. We got our drinks first and quickly but the food came late; we waited approximately 30-40 mins for our food (it was at first depressing), but I have to say as soon as you put the first bite of the food in your mouth you forget about the waiting period. The food is soooo juicy and tasty. The meat especially is very soft and tender even if it’s in a burger. My man took the Juicy Maxwell Burger and I took two Pork Ribs with plantains, and both the meat in our plates was cooked at the perfection. The French fries and alloco was also very tasty. Overall: If you are a meat lover and you want to spend a good time after work or even on weekends Texas Grillz is a place to go! The food is absolutely delicious and the staffs are a little bit disorganized but very friendly. I was going to give a 5/5 if it wasn’t for the atmosphere that I didn’t really like. Overall I really enjoyed.

Food was really good clean and good portions. Service was exceptional. Drinks and bar were fresh. Everyone there was extremely nice and helpful with restaurant menu items. Bartender and server and owner all were amazing cohesive team. But the Ambience of this restaurant and decor design with amazing view of the lagoon was stellar. In my opinion the best part. Really a beyond experience and was hard to leave such a magical and good feeling atmosphere. Thank you to the owner and whoever all put together such a out of this world environment to the public.

Was craving some sushi a few hours before leaving Abidjan and my family took me here. Host was warm and so attentive. Sushi was the best I have had in a while and quite affordable. I will recommend this place a gazillion times to anyone who’s looking for great service and even better sushi. Absolutely divine.

Good service, kind staff and chic restaurant. It is not affordable but if you want a special meal, you can choose here. You can enjoy your meal with scenery of Lagun. I ate “Frites à la crème de Truffe Noire et parmesan”, “Burrata salad”, “Steak Frites à la Parisienne, aux Champignons, pommes frites” Salad is the best. Frites is good, steak is average. Soft, juicy but I tasted something fishy. Overall it was a good experience.

Mouthwatering 🤤 experience at this Lebanese restaurant. It have Le Sushi and Chocolate Bar and International food menus. I had the Chicken Teriyaki plate with the Dynamite shrimp appetisers. Even my friends’ sandwiches were very delicious as per their feedback.

I went twice. Once alone and the 2nd time with a colleague. Both times the food was good - tasty, food came quickly, staff were attentive, atmosphere was relaxed - had music playing at the background, but it wasn't obtrusive. Food is expensive for what you get. I would recommend the restaurant.

Good atmosphere, but was immediately told off that we must order food with the reservation we have made at 10pm. Apparently ordering finger food with the cocktails we ordered arent enough. We were told to order at least an omakase set for each of us after we have just had our dinner elsewhere. Next time, if you require patron to order minimum of whatever, put it in your damn system. Quality rivals and exceeds many restaurants in london. The food was full of flavour and the attention to detail and curated atmosphere was 10 out of 10. When I come back to the Ivory Coast I will definitely be returning here.

The after football meal. Sam’s filet. It looks like big in quantity but actually not due to the meat cut in thin. Maybe this is the reason why in one plate, some meat are soft but some are over cooked. The dipping sauce is the best part, it goes perfectly with the fries.

Really nice place to go with your family or even on a date. We went for lunch and the cheese burger is nice and juicy, the bun was soft and fresh and all the vegetables were tasty. The French fries are excellent. The poki bowl with tuna was fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is welcoming and super friendly. Definitely recommend this place.

Burgers taste very good, ones of the best burgers in the city. Small downside, waiter clears tables extremely quickly, it almost feels like you need to get out of the restaurant as soon as you took your last bite. The famous Mushroom Sam's burger: Spectacular, but extremely hot, you will have to wait 15 min before eating and it is quite difficult to handle.

The customer service is amazing here. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly. The food is very fresh and delicious. I particularly liked the starter salad and the tofu and aubergine, which is very delicate. The vegan steak is also good. After your meal they serve you tea and cookies which is a nice touch. Everything on the menu is vegan, which is of course a huge plus.

I had a great time at Five. The restaurant is beautiful with different lights intensities which creates a perfect ambiance. The cocktail I ordered was refreshing and was served quite rapidly . As for the food, I ordered a duck’s thigh with sautéed potatoes and mushrooms. It came in excellently presented and appealing. The food was tasty although I think it was a little bit salty. The portion was good for the price. The service was excellent. I went there to celebrate a birthday and the waiters were courteous. They even sang a happy birthday to my friend. I will recommend Five to people wanting to have a nice meal in a flawless place and spend a quality time. It is quite expensive but for the service you get, you won’t be disappointed.

Lot of effort has been put in the details, the interior and setting. Personnel is charming and welcoming. Very clean and comfy. Food is good but way too overprized. The place lacks some identity. But its a new restaurant, so I guess it will need to rethink of its focus and strategy.

Very nice restaurant, great ambience. I had salmon and black rice and I really liked it. There are dress rules so beware before going there - heels for women, no open toe shoes for men. I'd definitely go back there.
