1. switching out the forks after they get used w/ the oysters - we had to request this.
2. or supply a smaller oyster fork.
The day we went, the scallops were a bit chewy, so were the chicken bits in the Caesar salad. Generally if scallops are overcooked they become tough and chewy, if they are cooked quickly on high heat they retain their buttery, sweet, nutty, and soft and velvety texture.
I am hoping that is an anomaly.

Unique dining experience that I enjoyed. The restaurant and the staff cater to guests and the atmosphere is great. The staff paid a lot of attention to dietary restrictions and were very helpful with gluten free options.
The best thing of the night was their amazing gin drink. After that everything was swimming in oil. The rice was like 50% oil and 50% rice. The fish was slightly over cooked, which I see as a major sin due to the high price of the plates.
I was afraid of an US invasion due to the amount of oil that was on my plate.
The best margarita that I ever had!

We went to a food festival, in which the restaurant was participating. When we arrived the waiter told us that the restaurant wasn`t making the food from the festival because there was feijoada and they didn`t want to confuse the kitchen, althought the food of festival was in the menu, but with other price. We chose from the menu and ordered the dishes. When the plates arrived we discovered that most of them were wrong. All in all, the food was so so, the service was bad, and the restaurant is mischievous. Bad experience....

One of the best restaurants in the area. Food and service are overall good. A couple items could be improved such as the $40 fries not coming with any sauce and on top of this, ketchup wasn’t available. A non alcoholic cocktail (red iced tea) was also not to our liking - the mix wasn’t very tasty, my wife couldn’t take any more after a few sips.
Complete with live music, a fantastic assortment of wines, a wonderful drink menu, and fresh, delicious food. This is one place you don't want to miss out on. My only critique would be small portions of pasta and other seafood dishes, but despite that - the food is very good.
This place is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Initially, it may appear slightly costly; however, given the portions of the meals, the cost is quite reasonable. Moreover, the personnel are exceedingly amiable. I recommend experiencing the exceptional Grilled Anchovy with Rice and Fish Sauce dish.
After almost two years since my last trip to Brazil, I was longing for having grilled fish and shrimps for lunch whilst enjoying the view to the sea and drink a cold beer. There were lots of restaurants in Balneário Camboriú that would fit those requirements but Brava Grill stood out from the others thanks to the recommendations from my relatives.
It was a great choice! Everything was much better than what I expected. The battered (or Milanese) shrimps were a perfect starter followed by the grilled anchovy, both my favorite picks in this kind of restaurants. We also had the grilled mecca fish, a kind of swordfish, I guess. It was fantastic! Everything was very fresh and both main dishes are served in big portion sizes accompanied by rice, salad, legumes sauces and potato wedges.
Another highlight was the service. The staff was very friendly and attentive and we didn’t have to wait much for our meal.
All that and the view to the beach and the cold beer topped my expectations.

The place is great. The reason I give them three stars is because they have no sushi options for vegetarians. They do have two predefined options for vegetarians but they are not sushi. They were rigid about doing a vegetarian combo for us. It's a fancy place with prices well above average so I am surprised they were unwilling to accommodate.
At first it may seem a little too expensive, but with the size of the dishes, the price is actually fine. And the staff is really friendly.
Try the Grilled Anchovy with Rice and Fish Sauce, it's great!
