Museums
Nestled in the historic maritime terminal at French Quay, the Emigration Museum Gdynia offers a captivating glimpse into Poland's rich emigration history. Opened in 2015, this museum is housed in a building that once served as a bustling departure point for countless Poles seeking new lives abroad during the interwar period.
Very nice museum/exhibition concentrating on immigration and emigration of Polish population during it's long history. It is mainly focused on the process of emigration to the US, following a family leaving Poland in search of new and better life in the USA. Highly educative and interesting. Many exhibits are interactive and focused on children. There is also a small playground. The entry fee is acceptable. I was very surprised by the quality of this museum and even more by how engaging it was for my 9 year old daughter. Highly recommended
Radovan D — Google review
Fascinating museum, very interactive and well-designed. I feel like I’ve learnt a lot about the history of migration movements and Poland in particular. Definitely worth visiting. One less star for lack of much needed coffee shop. We so needed a cold beverage after 2 hours of exploring.
Monika P — Google review
A fascinating museum covering the Polish diaspora, it's causes, the trips people took and where they ended up.
Tom ( — Google review
While the building looks a bit grey and boring the museum tells an interesting story in an inspiring way. The museum however require language skills (Polish or English) so our younger kid which does t master English as second language completely was a bit board. But for polish smaller kids there were puzzles along the way. The audio guide is a must.
Martin L — Google review
Very nice place for knowing about polish history and ww 2. Luckily entry was free when we were there.
James P — Google review
This is a must visit for anyone with a Polish Heritage with ancestors that originally emigrated from Poland. You will learn why they left, how they left and what they faced when they arrived at their destination. They endured difficult conditions to give us, their offspring, a chance for a better life. This museum tells the whole story.
Stephen L — Google review
A great museum - takes you on a journey showing various aspects of emigration and immigration of Polish people throughout history, focusing on the 19th and 20th centuries, but not only; suitable for children - a lot games or tasks to be completed by the little ones; a viewing terrace overlooking the port, plus a relaxation zone with really comfy lying or sitting or swinging facilities.
Monika C — Google review
We haven't time for visiting this beautiful museum. The building is very big and nice. There is a very nice and spectacular view nearby from dock

Gdynia Aquarium

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Nestled within the National Marine Fisheries Research Institute, the Gdynia Aquarium is a captivating destination for marine enthusiasts and families alike. Opened in 1971, this charming aquarium occupies a Modernist ferry terminal dating back to 1938 and showcases an impressive array of over 215 species, including fish, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates.
An amazing and wonderful place to visit with your family, perfect for all ages. Here, you can see a wide variety of fascinating sea creatures like colorful fish, crabs, lobsters, and even axolotls. The ticket prices are affordable and accessible, making it a great option for a family day out. There’s so much to explore and experience, from interactive exhibits to beautiful tanks filled with marine life. The staff are very polite and helpful, and we didn’t have to wait in any long lines, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a nature lover or just looking for a fun and educational outing, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!❤️
A!xtex — Google review
Very fun place to go. I love the idea with collecting stamps in every room. It's a small little souvenir that's free. Kids clearly loved it. But I snatched one for myself too. The tanks are big enough for the species, they're not cramped. The exhibitions were lovely. Highly recommend.
Magda — Google review
It’s an interesting place to visit, though a bit confusing to have it on so many floors, you need to go up and down all the time… some rooms are meant for educational purposes only and don’t have fish. You can expect many kids coming in groups, too.
Anya N — Google review
I recommend to visit! Maybe a little bit crowded but still interesting, also u can easily follow the map to not get lost (and when you done with room u take a stamp on your map, which is so cool! 🐠🐡🐟🐬🐙🦐🪼
Alina Y — Google review
Fantastic marine species exhibition, suitable for kids and adults. It's arranged over 4 floors (-1 to 3), due to quite complicated layout it's easy to miss some parts. I liked the most cold water species presentation on level -1. There are 2 lifts leading to different levels, unfortunately although this attraction is supposed to be fully accessible, one lift was out of order preventing access to level 3 today. There is accessible toilet and baby and parent room on level 0. There are discounts for kids, students, seniors, families, and disabled visitors with their carers.
Agn K — Google review
Fun place for a rainy day! Tanks look a little small but I trust the people taking care of the animals. The coral reef rooms and the blind fishes are definitely worth the trip!
Andrea G — Google review
The Gdynia Aquarium was a delightful stop for our family trip, offering a perfect blend of education and fun for a family of four. The family ticket option (2+2) was a great value, making it budget-friendly and hassle-free to enter. Our kids were thrilled with the interactive stations where they could collect stamps, which added a playful and engaging element to the visit. The aquarium itself is well-designed, with vibrant displays of marine life, from colorful reef fish to fascinating creatures like marble sharks and the beloved crocodile Zuzia. The educational exhibits, especially those highlighting the Baltic Sea and marine conservation, were informative without feeling overwhelming, sparking curiosity in both kids and adults. While it’s not the largest aquarium, its intimate setting and focus on local marine ecosystems made it a unique experience. The only downside was the crowded summer vibe and limited parking, but the stamp-collecting fun and the well-maintained exhibits made it a memorable outing. Highly recommend for families visiting Gdynia!
TPS — Google review
A very nice place to visit with your kids on a rainy day. Well accessible and overall great. Nice fishes and a lot of info. The only thing I didn't like was that some of the rooms were really stuffy - poor ventilation - and I nearly fainted. Update after 9 months - more empty tanks with "be right back" info on it visible. No souvenir shop anymore.

ORP Błyskawica

Mentioned on

Temporarily Closed
Maritime museum
Museums
ORP Błyskawica is a historic Grom-class destroyer that served in the Polish Navy during World War II and is now preserved as a museum ship. Commissioned in 1937, it holds the distinction of being the oldest surviving destroyer-class ship globally. The vessel played a crucial role in various wartime operations, including its involvement in rescuing British forces at Dunkirk.
Very cool experience. At first you walk through museum like space but then you get a chance to see the real "insides" of the ship and can experience what it was like for the crew to move around in such a tight space full of machinery.
Victoria S — Google review
Nice warship but unfortunately, no entrance for some reason. I was there around 15:00 o Monday. Regardless, very nice historical battleship.
Buster I — Google review
Great for history buffs, families, and anyone interested in maritime technology. The setting along the waterfront makes it even more enjoyable. A powerful reminder of Poland’s role in naval warfare and a proud symbol of its resilience.
JS 7 — Google review
A Functional Historical Data Point A necessary stop for anyone documenting naval history. The vessel itself is a well-preserved artifact, performing its duty as a static monument to a past era. The 4/5 rating reflects its intrinsic historical value. However, the operational model of the museum is suboptimal. The absence of interactive exhibits or simulations results in a purely passive observational experience. The system could be far more efficient at knowledge transfer if it were not limited to viewing static placards. A logical project for optimization is clearly needed.
Bartosz J — Google review
Awesome museum, reasonably short, took less than an hour to go through it, but is responsibly priced, had an awesome time there as someone who's interested in military history. Very educational too, learnt more about the history of this beautiful vessel and it's sisters.
Lukasz S — Google review
Owsome ship to visit. Loads of things to see. Sadly many parts of the ship including captains bride are closed to visitors, but still worth paying to come on board. Recomend buying combined ticked Blyskawica + Navy mueum.
Valdas M — Google review
Wonderful Destroyer with an interesting story behind it. It was commissioned in 1935 to be built in the UK and entered service before WW2 based in Gdynia. It managed to flee with other Polish ships to the UK in 1939 before the Germans invaded Poland and then acieved distinguished service alongside the British Navy particularly in the Norwegian area. It returned to be based Poland in 1947. The ship is so complete you feel it could almost set sail tomorrow. You start your tour in the Museum section of the ship which gives you it's history before going into the bowels of the Destroyer and seeing the Engine Room/Boiler Room etc. Finally finish with exploring the deck. Thoroughly recommend, easily spend an hour here.
Miles M — Google review
Different kind of ship museum which is just not about historical artifacts. Museum has artifacts which talks about historical significance of ship but what makes it special is they allow us to go down inside and see the engine and all other nuances of war ship. Atleast I never had such opportunity before. It's definitely worth visiting. It would take around 20-30 mins to see everything.

Kościuszko Square

Mentioned on

Hiking area
Kościuszko Square, located in Gdynia, is a popular tourist destination known for its unique architecture and vibrant atmosphere. The square is lined with tenements featuring murals of notable past residents and is surrounded by shops, cafes, and monuments near the port. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk along the seaside promenade, where they can admire monumental ships mooring by the coast.
Nice square to commemorate the legacy of Kosciuszko. Those who are not familiar with him, here is his history: Andrzej Tadeusz Bonawentura Kościuszko[note 1] (English: Andrew Thaddeus Bonaventure Kosciuszko;[note 2] 4 or 12 February 1746 – 15 October 1817) was a Polish military engineer, statesman, and military leader who then became a national hero in Poland, the United States, Lithuania, and Belarus.[3][4][5][6][7] He fought in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth's struggles against Russia and Prussia, and on the U.S. side in the American Revolutionary War. As Supreme Commander of the Polish National Armed Forces, he led the 1794 Kościuszko Uprising. On learning of the American Revolution, Kościuszko, a man of revolutionary aspirations, sympathetic to the American cause and an advocate of human rights, sailed for the Americas in June 1776 along with other foreign officers, likely with the help of a French supporter of the American revolutionaries, Pierre Beaumarchais.[14][30] After finally arriving in Philadelphia (after a Caribbean shipwreck) he sought out Benjamin Franklin at his print shop; offering to take engineering subject exams (in lieu of any letters of recommendation), he received a high mark on a geometry exam and Franklin's recommendation.[36] On 30 August 1776, Kościuszko submitted an application to the Second Continental Congress at the Pennsylvania State House, and was assigned to the Continental Army the next day.

Beautiful and recommend. Lots of great places to eat.

Great place for all the family. Old ships, food, drink, fun fair and attractions throughout the year. 15 minutes walk from the train station and a fantastic beach with changing amenities.
Jeremy B — Google review
Nice walk along the shore and seeing the places. All of the ships were closed but still pretty to look at from the outside.
Tam H — Google review
This square holds an important value for the polish nation because enemies in the past tried to conquer poland but got defeated by brave hero’s and it was the spot when naval forces fights At Gdynia port during 2nd WWII

Great view and nice environment
Someone I — Google review
Very interesting artwork in the middle if a walkway between the bus stops and the quays. On a good sunny sky, the light reflecting is very atmospheric and inspiring Unfortunately, as seems common these days, people do not clear up after their dogs leaving smelly surprise packages around the walking areas
Paul S — Google review
There used to be a huge parking lot, where you could drive and look at the sea/Dar Pomorza. Now the parking lot is gone, and therefore it's not so attractive anymore. It's still lovely to take the stroll down the Kosciuszko Square. It often gets pretty windy at the end of the Square.

Museum Ship "Dar Pomorza"

Specialty Museums
Nestled along the picturesque waterfront of Gdynia, Poland, the Museum Ship "Dar Pomorza" is a captivating piece of maritime history that beckons visitors to explore its storied past. Launched in 1909 from Hamburg's Blohm & Voss shipyard, this fully-rigged sailing vessel originally served as a German training ship before embarking on an impressive journey across Europe.
This ship had an exciting past as a Cadet Training Ship. It started service in 1930 and would do a European trip and a longer West Indies trip each year. In 1934 it sailed around the World covering 38746 miles, what an experience that must have been for those fortunate enough to gain a place on that trip. It was also invloved in bicentennial celebrations in USA in 1976. In 1939 she sailed to Sweden and was protected in Stockholm till after the War. Her last voyage was in 1981, she was replaced as the cost of refit would have been almost the same as a new ship. Now she remains a Museum ship. The Museum gives you all of it's history, you can then tour the engine room, living quarters and finally the deck. Well worth the visit.
Miles M — Google review
Dar Pomorza is definitely a museum ship worth visiting. Important to consider that there are narrow steps to be climbed down and up.
Monika K — Google review
Very nice ship, plus interesting exhibition about animals on ships, shame that that this part was only in Polish language. Otherwise great experience.
Pavla J — Google review
Very well preserved and interesting exhibition of a ship that was used for training Polish naval officers for several decades. Very friendly and helpful guides who also speak English. Recommended for everybody interested in history, ships, showing their kids how life was before and in general expanding their horizons. The display of knots on the lower deck fits perfectly with the large amounts of rope and the smell of tar and salty seas.
Vegard F — Google review
Very historical and adventures boat. Many stories on the board 👍
Štefan B — Google review
It's an interesting place, shame most of the captions are only in Polish though.
Daniel V — Google review
Fascinating museum about the history of the ship and lots of opportunities to explore the ship and experience how older ships operated. It's not huge, we took our time and talked about a lot of things and finished in about 30/40 minutes. There is a very tiny gift shop that sells things like magnets, bookmarks, postcards etc. A very nice and interesting little museum and a beautiful ship.
Kairra O — Google review
Gorgeous old ship, most labels also in English.

Nestled in the scenic coastal district of Orłowo, Gdynia, the Orłowo Pier is a delightful wooden structure that stretches 590 feet into the stunning Baltic Sea. This charming pier boasts a rich history dating back to World War I when it was initially constructed as a small port and promenade for the quaint fishing village. Over time, it has evolved into one of Gdynia's most beautiful attractions, especially after its expansion in 1920.
Very nice, much better than in Sopot and it is free
Amarok S — Google review
Orłowo pier is a hidden gem—much quieter than Sopot, but with gorgeous sea views and chill vibes. The walk out is peaceful, with seagulls overhead and the sound of waves below, and you get those epic views of the dramatic Orłowo cliff in the background.
Konrad K — Google review
In cold weather there is not much to do, only to walk back and forth and look at the cliffs. I think during the summer you could probably swim but the parking is not big. Still a nice stop on our road trip though.
Winncie — Google review
It's a nice pier to walk up and down, but they're isn't much else in the immediate area. Go for a walk further along the beach to see "Klif Orłowski". I suppose you could walk along the promenade too (off to the right) , but not a lot of interest that way either. The beach area is small but, overall, pleasant.
David W — Google review
Orłowo Pier offers stunning sea views, peaceful vibes, and scenic cliffs. Perfect for a relaxing stroll or photos. Less crowded than Sopot—ideal for nature lovers and a quiet escape.
Mash M — Google review
Beautiful spot, not very big but very walkable.
Barbara L — Google review
One of the most beautiful places on the sea-shore close to Gdynia. There are no tourist crowds. The neigbourhood is calm and pleasant. Very convenient to have a stay with kids. Water and the beach are very clean in comparison with other local places. Very gentle descent into the water. The tawerna close to the pier is a must-visit. Serve very fresh and tasty local beer! Friendly and caring personnel

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Kępa Redłowska, a nature reserve located between Gdynia and Orłowo, was established in 1938 to protect the coastal beech forest and rare Swedish whitebeam. This sprawling seaside park was once military grounds and is now dotted with trenches, bunkers, and old cannons. The 118-hectare reserve offers scenic hiking trails, stunning cliffs, deserted beaches by the sea, and diverse wildlife.
We enjoyed a hike in this nature preserve. It was sobering to see the former Soviet bunkers that are still fenced off from the general public. The only drawback -- no public restrooms anywhere, so people appear to use the forest as a restroom.
Elizabeth L — Google review
Not to missed walk when in the area. The walk has great views of the coast, forests and open parks.
Patrick R — Google review
Great place for walking with very beautiful views and few other attractions like old military constructions or cannon. Totally worthy to visit. However, it is better to choose a day with good weather and reserve few hours to see the place.
Adam H — Google review
Really nice place. Beautiful Baltic sea beach.
Tomas — Google review
Loved this place a lot at Gdynia. Liked powdery the sand texture at the beach. Clean and maintained well. Suitable for film shooting at sea side. The environment is cooler and couldn't feel humid air like other sea sides. A place to walk and lose your energy.

The surreal Crooked House stands out on Sopot’s main pedestrianized street, Monciak (Monte Cassino).

Loved it, we spent over 5 hours there with our 7 year old. Would highly recommend for English speakers, almost all the exhibits and games can be accessed in both languages. #EuroTrip2025

Worth a visit with kids interested in science. Not as good as the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw as much smaller (only one huge hall) and could do with an onsite cafe (only vending machines on site) and an outside seating area to catch a breath of fresh air. Allow 2-3 hours to explore. Overall, cleverly designed space and very interactive. Top tip: get your ticket online for a speedy entrance.
Monika P — Google review
Good place for kids to learn, observe and play. It's quite big and has lot of things mostly for small kids and few items for all ages like checking body weight, BMI, experiencing earth quakes etc. Some things doesn't work and is kept as it is. Best way for kids to learn science. Would be good to spend around 1 - 1 and half hours for this minimum so that everything would be covered for sure.
Karthik — Google review
Went there with my friend, we’re both in our mid-20s. It’s clearly targeted mostly at children but not only. The entire thing is rather small and we saw everything in half an hour, but we had a good laugh. For a little stop I recommend it.
Jonas — Google review
We found it very interesting, they have lots of things that you often find in science centers and then some more unique experiments. The only thing that would make it better would be if you could leave to visit the restaurant in the same building and then come back. However at the moment you can only enter once with your ticket. There was a snack corner with tables so it's possible to eat a sandwich there.
Eveli H — Google review
A cool place to go to with kids on a rainy day. Be warned though - queues start at 8.30 am during busy periods. If you want to avoid queuing for 2 hours, book online the day before. Once inside, there are lots of really cool and interesting things to see and do. All open-plan. We really liked the mushroom slide, the X-ray family photo, the tree with bird sounds and various body exhibits. We were there for about 2 hours. Once inside, there is only a drinks / snacks machine, so it's better to eat beforehand / afterwards, or bring your own food (there are a few picnic tables available). There is a restaurant with healthy food just before you go through but again - queues! I give it 4 stars because they should really improve their queueing process and, perhaps, allow pre-booking on the day.
Kamila S — Google review
Nice place to visit for adults and kids of all ages. The cons is that around ~20% of exhibits are broken/not operational :(

This was a very busy beach pulsating with people, kids and dogs on leashes. There is an amusement park as well as various restaurants for your enjoyment.

We travelled with family including 3 children. The place is very good to relax and sunbath. The advantage is that there is huge playfield for kids, this helps a lot :)
Aleksandrs P — Google review
Nice beach, was a little disappointed that we couldn’t swim too far out but it’s close to docks so I understand. Clean and accessible with food stands.
Audrey M — Google review
During the holiday season, the beach is always crowded due to its small size. It’s noisy, and dogs run around freely... The only advantage is the nearby restaurant and the possibility of walking along the promenade. I wouldn’t recommend this place to those who value peace, quiet, the beauty of nature, and the sound of the sea.
Boris C — Google review
Sunny Saturday afternoon, Sept 27, 2025, and Gdynia’s city beach was buzzing! Warm vibes, golden sand, a cool breeze off the sea, and plenty of space to chill or wander along the water. Perfect spot for soaking up the last summer sunshine.
Konrad K — Google review
Very cute beach and great ambience too 😊
Linda C — Google review
This beach has quite less shore but has all facilities. Boat rides, surfing are there. There is a kid park as well in shore with slides, swing etc. Shower with changing room is there for which long queues will be there. We went there on August weekend and it was too crowded. Would be good on Morning time probably with lesser people especially during summers.

Nestled in the historic Abrahams House, which dates back to 1900, Oberża 86 offers a delightful culinary experience that beautifully marries Kashubian flavors with French cooking techniques. This relaxed eatery specializes in local Polish staples, featuring an enticing menu of fish, meat dishes, and delectable desserts paired with a thoughtful selection of wines. Guests have praised the upscale yet authentic presentation of the food and the attentive service provided by friendly staff.
Walked passed this place completely by accident. Michelin recommended. Lovely atmosphere. Went for the pork knuckle and mushroom pastry starter. The service was superb and the flavours and pairing of the wine worked very well. Glad we got to experience it.

This restaurant sticks out as it is a house in the middle of the city. The comfortable and stylish decor instantly makes you feel at ease. It is minimal chic at her best. The menu was limited yet interesting. I loved my guinea fowl dish with the roasted potatoes. We ordered a delicious bottle of red wine. It was a lovely memorable lunch.

A hidden gem in the heart of Gdynia. I've lived on this street for about 3 years and just had a chance to try their menu. I wish I've done it sooner! 5 out of 5. We'll be back to try the rest of the items.

It is an enjoyable experience but lacking the atmosphere of a 5 star restaurant. On visiting our grandmother, we decided to treat her to a nice evening meal out. I'm not sure if we picked a quiet day or if the restaurant is always this way, but there were more staff than guests. The food and wine were delicious, but maybe some ambient music would of help.

Went with my wife for a special birthday dinner. Recommended by our hotel we were the only diners !! But our young lady waitress Hannah was superb our meal was excellent but after our main course desert was slightly rushed as we were informed that the kitchen closed at 10 pm having had desert at just after 10 pm we asked for a coffee to be informed that the coffee machine was now switched off !!! No alternative was offered A very very disappointing end to what otherwise should have been a lovely evening. Wouldn’t recommend unless you want to dine early!!

The cozy and modern ambiance adds to the dining experience. Visitors also praise the friendly service and recommend trying the sauerkraut and refreshing raspberry lemonade.
I love these pierogi - they’re really tasty. I first went to Mandu in 2023 in Gdánsk and came back in 2025 in Gdynia, and it’s still just as amazing.

This is a very good dimpling eatery in the downtown area of Gdynia. The restaurant is quite popular and is usually busy and it is a good idea to book a table in advance. The food is delicious, and the service is prompt and professional.

This was not my first nor will it be my last visit. I try to visit Poland once a year and have visited this place at least once durning my times in Poland (about three times prior to this fourth visit). The pierogi here are delicious and the service has always been great even though I barely speak Polish. This time it was a bit different. I arrived with my friend on a Wednesday evening and it was quite busy, but that’s no problem. The wait time was made aware to us before ordering which was fine with us. We had pierogi with white cottage cheese, potato, onion and bacon, and decided to try one new oven baked pierogi. There were only two to three tiny bits of bacon with a mountain of onions. While I do enjoy onions more than bacon, my friends absolutely hates onions and prefers bacon. They were also extremely salty in my opinion. The filling of our tradition pierogi was not up to par with past experiences as it was not well combined and contained larger chunks of potato and onions than normal, so I chalked it up to the cooks rushing due to it being busy and late. They ran out of thousand island dressing which was no issue as their ranch is delicious. The lemonade is also very delicious, not too sweet and not too sour. The server was sweet and the woman who sat us was amazing as well, when she realized I spoke English she was not afraid to speak in English which felt really good. I will definitely be back as I believe one bad experience should not taint overall experiences.

Long time waiting on the street in the queue. Then waiting time was about 25 minutes, but the food was nice. It's a pity that you can not choose different types within one order - you have to order 10 pieces and they are all the same. Atmosphere is noisy and crowded, nothing special.
Andrea K — Google review
We ordered a variety of pierogi / dumplings and all of them were very tasty. Lemonade was delicious too. Our waitress was very attentive, making sure we get everything we need.
Egle — Google review
The food is delicious, but every time they say that the vareniki will take 20-25 minutes and would we like to have a salad or soup while we wait. In the end, the salad or soup is brought in 10 minutes along with the main meal. An ugly trick. We got caught once.
Lizaveta K — Google review
Went for a lunch on Saturday. Had to wait a bit to be seated but so worth it! The most delicious pierogi I’ve ever had! I recommend the ones with chorizo! Heaven inside your mouth.

Amazing selection of various types of pierogi. All very tasty. English is spoken. The only negative is the beer - Mandu lager - which is not very good.

Czerwony Piec is a popular and unassuming pizzeria in Gdynia, known for its delicious pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven. The eatery offers a variety of options including paninis, hummus, salads, and beer. Customers appreciate the generous portions and quick service, as well as the traditional and unique toppings available. While some mention that the toilet could be cleaner, others praise the friendly staff who speak good English.
Truly a super place and the very best pizza I had during my almost 2 week long stay in Gdynia / the three cities. Great service, laidback atmosphere and simply amazingly good pizza!! 🍕🥰🥳 I had the Bacon & Cheddar - highly recommended! 👏🏼👏🏼 (see pics). Many of the other pizzas also looked seriously promising!!

One of the best pizzerias in Gdynia with really good pizza. As an Italian I was pleased to discover such good pizza in Gdynia. I will definitely return and with pleasure. Table service is also good and fast. I recommend this pizzeria.

Great pizza, one of the best in Tricity area. Quick and enjoyable service. Decent price. A place worth visiting while in Gdynia :)

When it comes to pizza you can't fool me. They use authentic wood fired pizza oven. What you get? Light, crusty and truly delicious pizza with great quality ingredients. Grab yourself a beer from 'Ale Browar' and you're set. Adrianna big thank you for taking care of us. Perfect service :) 'Czerwony Piec' I'm hooked!

Despite what the menu tempts you to, the only good thing I had today here was the beer. And this and ONLY this gets the three stars! Cloudy, wheat beer! Looked good, tasted REALLY good! But that was the end of the good times in this place. The starter was supposed to be a "cheese platter" with interesting honey. Yes, the honey WAS very nice, but the cheese was all bland and tasteless! In fact, without the honey it world have been pretty hopeless. Onto the main course of pizza. I chose something different - goat's cheese, rocket, tomatoes. But it too had almost no taste except for the bits where the tomato was. And it was burnt in places! And also, for some reason it came on a wooden board with paper under the pizza. Why? What was the point of that? It just meant that when I was cutting pizza, i was also cutting paper... and probably EATING paper too! But I don't think I'd have noticed any difference between paper and pizza anyway! And all this for a ridiculous 76 złoty! Honestly, that was the second and absolutely LAST TIME I will ever eat at any Gdynia restaurant every again!

Pyra bar Gdynia is a popular spot for delectable potato pancakes. Despite the high demand, it's worth enduring the long queues to experience their amazing and greasy food. To secure a table, one must first locate the table number and then proceed to the till to place an order. The three filling pancakes can be shared between two people. This centrally located restaurant in Gdynia boasts charming decor and specializes in all things potato-related.
If you’re a big fan of potatoes I recommend. We tried the soup of the day which was sweet potato and the potato dumpling. Definitely worth the price. One plate was enough for 2 to be honest. Amazing place and delicious food!

I went there for quick lunch. Restaurant is located in the centre of Gdynia and has really nice decoration. Main focus of this restaurant is ,,potato". Food was really tasty, prices acceptable. I saw at some other table that they serve very interesting, oryginal french frites. I need to come back to taste them next time.

Pueblo is a Mexican restaurant known for its expertly prepared steaks, delicious desserts, and friendly service. The menu offers a good selection of dishes, but there are limited options for vegetarians and vegans. The portions are generous, and there is a wide variety of tequila and other drinks available. Despite the small size of the restaurant, it can get crowded at times. Customers praise the amazing steaks, cocktails, ribs, and well-spiced dishes.
Amazing restaurant! Delicious Mexican food, fantastic atmosphere, and great vibes. We will definitely come back whenever we’re in Trójmiasto. <3 Hopefully, one day you’ll open a place in Poznań too:)

The food used to be much nicer, now it just tastes like every other mediocre Mexican restaurant. I have given it 3* as the portion sizes are quite big ( but if the food is not particularly good ..would you want a big portion 🫣) 4 for atmosphere as it is decorated very nicely. Service is a bit slow and you have to actively look for a staff member for anything or even go up to the till ... But i guess they were very busy.

Food and fries were both nice, especially the fries. Nothing quite special with the steak burger but it was quite interesting. A tad bit expensive, but still reasonable.

An amazing place! I loved the interior design, coziness. There is a summer garden. Both the food and drinks were delicious. A great idea for a breakfast over the weekend. If ever back in Gdynia, I will choose Chwila Moment!

The food was good, we ordered breakfast. I ordered shakshuka and got them gluten- and dairy-free. Instead of bread, the lady offered me a tomato, which was very kind of her. My husband ordered scrambled eggs made with butter (because he has stomach issues, and we hope they were really made that way). But the cook didn’t want to make the Frankfurter sausages with butter—although scrambled eggs with butter were fine. So instead, my husband got cottage cheese. Well, thanks to the cook, there will be fewer stars… The waiting time is long. Overall, it’s a nice place and the food is good, so I can recommend it.

Great spot. Service nice. Lots of cool food choices but Little vegan options. I got the vegan breakfast and you could taste the eggs 🍳 on the grilled pepper and tomato 🤢. I guess they don't use a different pan for the non egg eaters 😥

Fast service: 5/5 Friendly service: 4/5 Tasty food: 5/5 Value for money: 4/5 Fish in banana sauce was a surprising yet delicious combination. I'm told that the tastes are slightly adapted to Polish preferences, but mimic the Thai quite closely. The atmosphere is relaxed, with one of the rooms a bit more decorated and louder, and the other (deeper inside) calmer, though with less of a Thai vibe. I'd come back.

Simply delicious food! It looks amazing and tastes as great. 3 of us and everyone ordered different dish so we could taste more too. Cannot fault this place, prices reasonable, we took starters and mains plus cocktails (amazing!) There were no room for dessert unfortunately. Will visit again for sure! Thank you for this poetic dishes, great service and fantastic atmosphere!
Aga O — Google review
We went to eat in a group of three people and it costed us around 150 PLN. It was around 50/60 PLN for a meal and 10 for a soda or juice. Drinks like mojito or lemonade were around 19 PLN. The food was delicious and it was definitely worth the price, if you like classic polish food this is definitely not for you. The food was an explosion of flavors on your tounge just as expected from Thai restaurant. If you don't have Asian spice tolerance please try to order something less spicy and don't underestimate the amount of spice in the dishes. The atmosphere was glamorous, you could feel like you're actually in Thailand in the local, the place was air-conditioned so you don't need to worry about overheating inside. To sum up i would say the food was 10/10 service 10/10 and atmosphere 10/10 I would definitely visit it once again!!

Place that is absolutely recommendable! We were guided by the positive rating, and were not disappointed, at all. A place of genuine Thai cuisine! We had to wait in order to be seated - which is a good indicator. For starter we ordered soup and chicken/beef for the main dish. Both were excellent! You can clearly taste that genuine Thai ingredients were used. Also, service was excellent: friendly and very competent! All in all, absolutely deserving 5/5 stars, admitting that for this quality the prices are still decent! Once we are around, we will for sure come back. (Considered & graded as a traditional restaurant)
Tymoteusz M — Google review
Love this place, first of all because of the food which is tasty, fresh and amazingly served. Definitely kind of fusion kitchen with Thai inspiration, if you expect street food from Bangkok you might be surprised. All the soups we had were to die for. Caramelised Beef superb, mango salad very exotic, Ginger Baby squid so nice. Crafted beer recommended, especially flavoured wheat beer (mango, melon, kiwi). Second thing which make this place extraordinary is staff, very kind, helpful and nice. We've been served by two lovely ladies who made our dinner exceptional experience.Thank you and definitely see you next time.

quite disappointing experience. the dishes look great and are nicely presented, but sadly lack the authentic Thai flavors. the tofu was low quality – definitely not Thai tofu – tom yum with noodles felt off, and the curry was very much so-so. if you're looking for real Thai taste, this might not be the place.

Visitors can enjoy not only the delightful food but also a beautiful view of the sea and beach. Just wow! A very nice place with absolutely tasty dishes. We experienced the service a bit slow but nothing to worry about that in General. A full recommendation.
Rob T — Google review
How could I have forgotten this place? Probably because a couple of years ago it was just ok. Many has changed since then. The location is great with a view over the marina and the sea. The food is very good, I have tried a couple of dishes and they were great, the spicing was well balanced. They have a nice bar and all the drinks were perfect - very good bartenders. And also very important - impeccable service. This ultimately gives that place a nice chilling vibe and makes you want to come back the next day. The only things missing are three or four high stools at the bar. Sometimes it is great to sit at the bar with a drink and watch the bartender do the magic. Altogether a great place.. Highly recommended,

Vinegre is a classy restaurant on the top of a Gdynia museum with fantastic view on the sea. You can have dinner inside or on the terrace. The dishes very tasty but also fine dining. The seafood-fish soup was excellent. The service was great and so were the wines.
Zoltán S — Google review
The service in this place was second to none. So efficient and not too much. Also the sea view was so impressive. Its interior was interesting, lacking warmness and individuality yet proper. I didn't get the clutter on top of enormous storage facility at the back and totally awful toilets. But then comes the price! It's fantastic! The food is alright, lovely fish soup, salmon tartare is tasty but it's on a too thick bed of rice. Fettuccine pasta was delicious yet a bit on a greasy side. Their beef burger has a great selection of toppings but guacamole was too supermarket-like and meet was boiled and dry. Will I be back? Definitely! I can always try something different yet the sea view was absolutely stunning and staff made it very pleasurable.

Incredibly slow service. We stopped just for a soup and coffee, but after 30 minutes waiting for a simple soup and another 15 for an apple juice, we did not dare to try coffee... It's a pity cause the place is nice, especially the terrace and the soup was ok.
Jan K — Google review
Excellent spot in the Navy Musuem - top floor. Shrimp 🍤 was amazing.
Monika C — Google review
Booking a table at Vinegre is an unnecessarily frustrating process. Although you can request a booking online—say, via Google—the restaurant doesn’t confirm it automatically. Instead, you’ll likely need to call them directly to nudge them into acknowledging your reservation. For a supposedly modern venue, this clunky system feels archaic and inconvenient, especially when so many other places have seamless booking experiences. If this is your first visit, brace yourself: just finding Vinegre could turn into a minor detective job. There are barely any signs or clear directions, which makes the search more of a treasure hunt than it should be. A location on Gdynia’s waterfront should be a breeze to find, but not here. Once we arrived (a party of four), we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. That part, at least, was pleasant. However, a peculiar thing happened during the booking call: I was told the only available table was at the back of the restaurant—implying the place was nearly full. Yet when we arrived on a Sunday late afternoon, it was barely 20% occupied. A bizarre mismatch between the information provided and the reality. Now onto the menu and dining experience. According to their website (entirely in Polish), Vinegre is meant to be a restaurant, wine bar, and cocktail bar all in one. Great in theory, but if you’re not a Polish speaker, you’re out of luck—there’s no multilingual menu or guidance. Even the Google listing links to their Facebook page as the “official” site. In 2025, that’s just unprofessional and alienating for non-Facebook users. The menu layout itself is chaotic. Starters and tapas are on one page; turn it over, and you’re faced with mains and entrees—without much cohesion or logic. We weren’t especially hungry, so we opted for a light meal: I went for a Caesar salad with chicken (shrimp was also an option, oddly deep-fried in panko—as if this were a fusion Asian takeout). The others ordered shrimp salads, also from the “tapas” section. We added some focaccia and white wine by the glass. Here’s where the “wine bar” bit really falls apart: there were maybe three or four whites available by the glass. The house option (Pinot Grigio, first on the list) was out of stock. So, no house wine, and a very limited selection? That’s not a wine bar—just a restaurant with a small wine list. The waiter recommended an alternative, which was fine, but not what I wanted. The food arrived fairly promptly, and so did the focaccia—though I had to ask for olive oil. When it came, there was no small plate to dip it in, so back the waiter went again. Small details, but they add up. As for the food: the Caesar salad was generous—too generous, actually, in terms of croutons, chicken, and bacon. It was out of balance with the amount of actual salad leaves. More greenery, less meat and filler, would have made it better. The shrimp salads, on the other hand, were tasty but comically small—more like amuse-bouches than actual starters. The inconsistency in portion sizes was stark. Later, the girls ordered mussels, only to be told they were unavailable—something we weren’t informed about beforehand. Why leave them on the menu then? Service throughout was friendly and polite, if a bit inexperienced and disjointed. Nothing major went wrong, but the team lacked the polish and awareness that distinguishes a truly well-run place. In the end, Vinegre left us underwhelmed. The location is undeniably lovely on a sunny day—great views of the marina, a relaxing seaside vibe—but the experience just didn’t live up to the setting. Between the chaotic booking, hard-to-find entrance, inconsistent food, and lackluster wine offerings, this is not a place I would return to. It could be so much more—but right now, it’s not even close.

Zero stars, avoid this place. We ordered seafood sampler for two plus drinks and all food was just not cooked right. While some was fried and dry other was uncooked and slimy inside. Hot apple cider drinks shown in menu photos actually looked different and most likely some sweetened alcoholic beverages with slices of citrus that have nothing to do with cider. Overall unpleasant experience and not recommended to anyone.

Small and efficient airport. Declares itself as a "silent airport" Without unnecessary announcements from speakers (they only announce when a flight is boarding). It's relatively small, so you can go through security to the gate in about 30 minutes (or less if you're quick and lucky). Toilets are clean. Quite many options of restaurants. There's a McDonald's too. And cotton candy machinenear gate 13.

The airport is well-connected to the city center via SKM trains, buses, and taxis, with travel time into Gdańsk usually around 30–40 minutes. Facilities inside are clean, modern, and well-maintained, with free Wi-Fi and a decent selection of cafes, shops, and a few duty-free options. Post box available before security check in, so be sure to send any postcards before you get past that point. There’s also an information desk that can guide you around. While food and drink choices aren’t extensive, they’re generally good quality and reasonably priced for an airport. If you arrive early or have a layover, there are some quiet seating areas upstairs that are great for relaxing or getting some work done. There’s also a small observation deck if you’re traveling with kids or enjoy plane spotting. For those with extra time or needing a bit more comfort, the airport lounge is modest but offers a quiet space with snacks and drinks. One thing to be aware of is that passport control and baggage claim can be slow during peak hours, particularly for non-Schengen flights, so plan accordingly if you’re on a tight schedule. Also, while public transportation is available, late-night arrivals might require a taxi or ride-share, as buses and trains don’t run frequently overnight. Overall, Gdańsk Airport is a reliable and pleasant starting or ending point for trips to northern Poland and the Baltic coast.

Pretty nice airport. Waiting times are almost not existing. Clean and tidy. Passenger terminal is decent size with restaurants and shops

Everything works excellently here, both on arrival and departure. Clean, professional.

Neptune Taxi at the airport is absolutely terrible! Never use their service! They're incredibly expensive, they never turn on the meter, pretending it's broken, and you always pay a ridiculously high price! They're incredibly pushy and harassing, trying to get you into their taxis! It's better to walk 20 meters away and take the taxis in the next lane! You can get away cheaply and comfortably!
