Amazing water, good for snorkeling, quite deep. free parking, nice bar
Valentin M — Google review
Top notch. Free parking. A small place to get drinks and some snacks. Not that busy. As always crystal clear water. A 3min walk from the Car park to get here. If the free parking is full about 100m up the road there is paid parking. Very quiet and peaceful beach.
Joseph A — Google review
There are two parkings. One is for free but basically always full and one to be paid, for 2€ an hour. One of the parking (the free one) leads to the Zuccale beach while to other one to Barabarca beach. Couple of stairs to go down, the beach is a mix of pebbles and send, there is the possibility to pay to get an umbrella and sunbeds. Also a bar is available. The water is crystal clear! And great sunset!
Denise C — Google review
Great small beach, if you are looking for some privacy and peace. Sand/little stones, some natural shade.
Katarina K — Google review
Beautiful clear water and clean beach with a bar. Good step access down from the free car park, and another paid car park which starts charging for the summer from 1st June.
Jennifer O — Google review
Nice cozy little beach with beautiful clear water. There's a nice bar with friendly young people. Parking the whole day is 6€, 2 beach-beds and an umbrella is 15€.
Philipp A — Google review
Our absolute top on Elba. Small and rather difficult to get to but really beautiful and quiet. Fantastic for a swim and some sunbathing. Bring you own umbrella or rent one from the only bar there. If you want to stay away from noise and internet (very lousy connection) do not hesitate.
Grzegorz S — Google review
The beach is nice, clean water, sand but we had other favourites on Elba :)

Spiaggia dell'Innamorata

Beaches
Visit this location to experience an enchanting evening meal while witnessing the breathtaking sight of the sun descending over the ocean horizon. This beach boasts a magnificent natural setting, guaranteed to leave you in awe. With its remarkable views and stunning surroundings, it is truly unparalleled. The beauty and grandeur of this place will surely captivate you.
We got the last spot at the parking so we felt very happy. We didn't like the beach itself (dirty water, overcrowded) but we took our paddleboards with everything and stayed on the island at one little beach and enjoyed a perfect snorkeling and being alone only with yachts around. Another perfect Elba day (。♡‿♡。)
Milena M — Google review
The sea is clean, no question here. The beach itself is a mixture of sand, dust and dried seaweed. Horrible. There are no pebbles and no clean sand, be aware of that. Also, there is no shower for common folks, only for residents of the hotel village.
Anton K — Google review
Nice beach ,one parking nearby when you find place only if you came at 7 AM and another parkinkg litle bit far away !

Very nice and quiet location. I highly recommend the little cafe at the beginning of the beach. Very friendly stuff and good quality. A great place to end the day with your sweetheart

Museo delle Miniere di Capoliveri

Museum
Mine
Specialty Museums
The Museo delle Miniere di Capoliveri is an impressive museum that offers visitors a glimpse into the history of mining. The highlight of the museum is the Galleria del Ginevro, where visitors can explore and learn about the technical aspects of its construction, as well as gain insight into miners' stories, life and work in it. The engaging guide makes sure that everyone stays interested throughout their visit.
Its a dam cool place run by a great people! Really enjoyed the ride and excursion as well as the museum! Talking on behalf of our whole extended family!
Petr P — Google review
Aldo from “Safari in Miniera” is an amazing guide! Captivating and very friendly. He was able to show us the mine (the entrance is here but we are taken to Galleria del Ginevro for the visit), share miners’ stories, explain technical details of its construction, life and work in it.. keeping us all and the kids in the group very interested the whole time. A piece of history worthy the visit and seeing!
Thais L — Google review
Museum closed at 15:00 so we missed that. You can do the hikes or mountain biking without the museum and the hike down to the mine buildings and back up was very nice, 6/10 difficulty as you go down the mountain and back up.
Chris T — Google review
Expensive entrance and nothing special to see. Instead to go with military vehicles as they wrote on description of attraction on the website you have to drive your own car about 20 minutes to entry and all on the roughy, dusty road. Save your time and you car and stay on a nice beach instead.
Robert M — Google review
We came to the place at the wrong time for the guided tour, due to the Internet site not having been updated to the new schedule. Trying to book for some late afternoon hour we were given a couple of phone numbers and were ping-ponged between them with excuses until we started getting upset. At some point these, and all other phones from the organisation stopped answering and avoided even confirming or denying a chance for us, as they had promised. So we gave up. All in all, worst possible customer experience

(Translated by Google) We arrived on a weekday. At first, a woman was standing outside smoking and on her cell phone. When we went into the museum to buy tickets, she followed us, sat down at her table, and continued to toddle around on her phone without looking up. Only after 30 seconds of silence did we inquire and learn that everything was closed for a private tour. We could come back at 2:00 p.m. (It was 10:30 a.m.). We then briefly looked at the crystals on display, which were very poorly labeled, and left without the woman even looking at us again.

Zuccale Beach

Mentioned on
2 lists
Beach
Zuccale Beach, located on the southern Elba island in Italy, is a hidden gem nestled within cliffs. With its crystal clear waters, fine sand, and a variety of amenities such as sunbeds and parasol rentals, it offers a delightful retreat. This small cove boasts shallow blue waters that are perfect for families with young children. On one side of the beach, there is shade available throughout most of the day.
Lovely little sandy beach with blue shallow water. The left half is great during most of the day, as it is shaded. It is perfect for families with small kids. The little bistro has icecream, drinks and some sandwiches, plus it has toilets. I imagine during the summer it fills up quickly, though. Easy to reach with the car and from the parking just need to walk down a few steps.

Great beach - for sunset is perfect - one of the best in the area

Good beach for families. Cafe, sunbeds and pedallos all on site. Pay car park under shady pines and short walk down a path to the beach. Stony but ok snorkelling.

I didn’t like this beach. Very expensive umbrellas and beds. Parking is not free. Everything is expensive for what beach is offer. Dirty water.

Spiaggia di Naregno

Beach
Outdoor Activities
Spiaggia di Naregno is a beautiful seaside location that offers great opportunities for snorkeling. Additionally, visitors can enjoy an evening boat ride to Porto Azzurro and return. This beach may be small and have several private areas, making it more appealing if you are in close proximity. However, there are other beaches available that offer better experiences if you are willing to travel a bit further.
The beach is really nice, and is good for snorkeling. Furthermore in the evening there is a boat that takes you to Porto azzurro and back to naregno.
Claudio G — Google review
It's a quiet nice beach. Unfortunately 95 % is private property. So if you are not willing to pay 16 € for an umbrella you can't really find a place to lay down.
David — Google review
Small beach - a lot of private parts - worth if you are not far - otherwise you have better beaches
S C — Google review

Spiaggia di Norsi

Outdoor Activities
Public beach
Beaches
Spiaggia Di Norsi, a charming beach located in Laguna, offers ample parking and a peaceful ambiance. This picturesque pebble beach allows visitors to choose between enjoying their own space or renting comfortable loungers with parasols. While the beach path may pose difficulties for wheelchair users, it leads to a parking lot that provides convenient options at affordable rates. The shoreline boasts smooth rocks, courtesy of the gentle waves, facilitating easy access to the sea.
Great beach with deck chairs available for rent. Quieter than some of the other beaches so more peaceful, and has 2 good beach bars for drinks and food. Big parking lot (free) open 24 hours a day with a short downhill walk to reach the beach.
Mini D — Google review
Darker pebble beach with beautiful snorkeling spots you also have 2 beach bars and a pay parking for 8 euro daily or 5 euro half day from 2 pm (like most beaches on the island, you have pay parkings ...)
Daniela M — Google review
Small cove sheltered with a few bars/restaurants. Umbrellas and chairs available to rent. Other items like SUPs/Kayaks and Motor Boats are available to rent. From the parking lot one can hike up to a viewpoint of the bay.
Dirk U — Google review
Norsi beach has plenty of parking (8€ per day) in 2-3min walking distance. We stayed übrig of the bar. The small black sand stones get really hot during the day so that wearing swimming shoes can be benefitial. Compared to most other beaches Norsi was not crowded at all. The bar has good food for kids as well and the pizza was quite good. The water gets steep quickly, hence not ideal for toddlers. Stand up paddling worked really well because the water is very calm. The toilet situation is not ideal, but that seems to be the case in most beaches. If you don't need sandy beaches, this is a great place.
Moritz K — Google review
Beautiful beach, only thing ruining the experience is the grumpy lifeguard
SnappleTM — Google review
Wonderful beach with an amazing service. Mario will help you get your umbrella and chairs right on the sea, while the bar will provide drinks and food at all the time for a wonderful day with your friends and family.
Giorgio N — Google review
This beach has dark pebbles and if you’re planning on doing snorkeling I would recommend it only if the weather is good to avoid low visibility
Larissa G — Google review
Nice Laguna with adequate parking Spiaggia Di Norsi is a lovely pebble beach with the opportunity to have your own space or rent some loungers with a parasol. A small path leads to the beach which is, sadly, not really suitable for wheelchairs (since Google always asks about this). At the other end of the path is a parking lot offering parking spots for 6€/day or 4€ when arriving in the afternoon. This is in range of most paid parking lots around beaches but on the lower end of this range. Being a pebble beach rocks are also present though, most if not all of the rocks found in the Laguna are smoothened by the water making entering and exiting the sea easy. With the right wind and clear water snorkeling is a nice activity. Just don't expect a reef exploding with wildlife.

Spiaggia Laconella

Public beach
Spiaggia Laconella is a serene and secluded beach, often referred to as the "little sister" of the larger Lacona beach. The crystal-clear waters are perfect for wading and snorkeling, with an abundance of fish around the rocky areas. Visitors can also enjoy kayaking in this tranquil setting. Nearby accommodations offer a comfortable stay, and there are opportunities for hiking to other scenic spots like Porto Azzuro and Capoliveri.
We was sleeping here in amazing b&b and the beach is sandy, low and water was blue. Highly recommend to stay here and try the beach. You can hike around and reach other nice places like Porto Azzuro and Capoliveri where you can bike in the best bikes park in this island. It is quite and you can find place to eat and new nice B&B with the sea view.
Ieva L — Google review
Was not what we were expecting. The wind had come up in the morning so the water was murky. Very full of people and also lots of dried seaweed on the beach, so the wind made it a bit unpleasant. Probably a lot nicer with better conditions. No sunbeds and parking is a problem— you will get a ticket if parked in the low traffic zone.
Fra53r1990 — Google review
Beach is great. Not that crowded but still quite popular. Cool cave. But beware of the parking spots. Always park where there is sign P because we and many other cars got fined every day with parking fee 30€.
Roksana T — Google review
The path is how can see on the pics, uneven and unmade. If you can pass this....well....you'll be facing a nature's wonder. The beach is big enough for everyone but.. arrive early morning or before 10.00 if you can.
Marco M — Google review
Parking was tricky, but the beach was nice and quiet! The water was wonderful, warm, and clean!
Emily M — Google review
Nice beach that either require a long walk from the street (abt 40mins), or you try your luck parking close to the beach but in a not allowed zone (we opted for the second and we got fined). Other easier and more beauty beaches around it
Mario P — Google review
Beach of sand and little stones in a suggestive place. The car parking is little. Quiet and dog friendly
Alessandro Z — Google review
Lovely beach mainly made of sand with some big stones. The water is absolutely clear and clean. This place is accessible through a dirt walkway. Parking is very limited (and often illegal).

Great place to stay with kids. 2 restaurants with great seafood are right on the beach
Boris F — Google review
Beautiful and very clean beach close to Capoliveri, with parking available nearby. One section is free, while two others require an entrance fee. The sea is very shallow, making it perfect for children, and the water quality was excellent – crystal clear and refreshing. The whole place feels relaxed and cozy, ideal for a calm day at the beach. Even on a Sunday in mid-September it was not overcrowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Spiaggia di Felciaio

Beach
Outdoor Activities
Spiaggia di Felciaio is a secluded beach surrounded by picturesque cliffs and coves, offering small sandy stretches and clear-water pools. It provides an ideal escape from the more developed beaches, accessible via a short path. The area features two small beaches - one sheltered sandy stretch and another with gravelly terrain. Despite being crowded during peak season, it is not as busy as some other beaches in the region.
Review? No! Not gonna even try to describe this piece of hidden heaven...it should stay hidden so that only the worthy one can find it..it is indeed kind of hidden though and I am happy it is. Just a glance of this place is already view of a life time and a dive in that pristine water??? Ooo...heaven's not up there..it's down there on Felciaio 😍
Atanu N — Google review
Very beautiful beach, and the water was also very nice. But sadly enough the beach was covered with +-5cm of dry algae. The walk to the beach was a little adventurous with a small child, and we were surprised to see so many small children there.
Sarrah S — Google review
A really lovely beach. It's a bit of a trek to get town to it from the car park. The beach is in two parts, the first part is covered in dry seaweed but the second part is sand. Really nice for swimming and snorkeling
Amy M — Google review
If you want to get away from the crowds at the more developed beaches. Felciaio is a good choice. It's accassed via a short path. There are two small beaches - one is sandy and sheltered, and the other more gravelly. The water is very clear, and the beach wasn't at all crowded even on a weekend in July. There's one little bar here which also has sunbeds for hire on a deck area, shower and toilet etc. It's very nice but not the cheapest at 30 euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella. Parking at the nearby car park is 8 euros. With lunch at the bar as well we spent quite a lot of money for a day at the beach, so if you can I'd recommend bringing your own umbrella, chairs, and packed lunch!
Clare S — Google review
Small beach, which is not crowded. Even during the August and September.
Tobias K — Google review
A nice natural beach mostly on rocks. Great for snorkeling, the nearest parking is quite expensive. The path fron the parking to the beach is really nice in the middle of the nature.

Taverna dei Poeti is a stylish restaurant offering contemporary Tuscan cuisine with international influences and an extensive wine selection. Originally established in 1909 as a simple trattoria, it has since been taken over by Paolo Paolini. The restaurant provides seating for forty guests, including a small intimate room at the back and outdoor tables during the summer months.
Excellent food. Well prepared and wonderful flavors. Many options for seafood, meat and salads. Great wine recommendations. Wonderful dessert. Service was attentive and helpful.
Erin R — Google review
Lovely restaurant in the heart of Capoliveri. As young travellers we were made to feel very welcome despite it being a more expensive/nice restaurant - we asked for a primi each (pasta) and a secondi to share (fish) and the owner very kindly brought us each our own half portion of the fish! No judgement for us not wanting to spend on a secondi each. Great experience, very kind staff and most importantly delicious food (recommend the octopus spaghettini!!!). They also managed to get us a table very last minute which we were very grateful for.

What a delightful culinary experience. You will love the scenery as much as the food! 😍 The coffee ravioli with pistachio pesto is to die for!. I cannot state enough how gracious, kind and thoughtful our head-waiter and expert sommelier Daniele was- a delightful person who made this culinary experience even more memorable 💟
Chris.J. G — Google review
We were fairly unlucky, and one of our plates for the first course had dirt and dead ants on it. No biggie, we thought, we'll just show it to the waitress. Unfortunately, instead of apologizing and bringing a new one, she went in the back where we heard the whole kitchen staff theorizing on how we put the dead ants and dirt in it ourselves to get a discount. Then she came back and made a great deal of showing us how she cleaned the plate before handing it to us. At that point, we had lost our appetites, and we didn't feel welcome anymore, so we decided to leave. I have to say it's a shame because the food looked amazing, and the host seemed very competent. He seemed sorry we left, but only apologized halfway, saying the ants could have come from the window (Which I guess it's possible, but that would mean they died as soon as they touched the plate, and it still doesn't explain the dirt. To me, it seems far more likely that the waitress mistakenly took an old plate from the back of a cupboard and didn't realize it was dirty). We weren't asked to pay as we didn't get to taste any food and only had a sip of the wine. The food seemed delicious, and the view looked amazing. Maybe you'll have better luck, but we aren't planning on going back.

Restaurant
Ristorante Koala is a family-owned and operated seafood restaurant located on the stunning Elba Island in Italy. The menu features both meat and pasta dishes, as well as some homemade pastries that are definitely worth trying. Outdoor seating provides an enjoyable atmosphere while you dine, and parking is free of charge. The staff is attentive and skilled in preparing your meal to perfection.
Incredible view, tasty food. A little corner of paradise. We had the crudo degustation menu, which was nice. Make sure you ask for a table on the terrace.
Grazia A — Google review
The view is amazing. Service is a bit low, but you are in Italy and on vacation so enjoy! There is a beautiful terrace with music and a sunset to die for. Great selection of wine, over 800 options. Food was good overall and desert amazing. Recommend. A bit more sophisticated and all their places on the island.

I came here with my boyfriend for a romantic dinner, the location was very nice, refined and elegant, the view was beautiful and an incredible light came in at sunset. The food was really excellent, the fish all very fresh and perfectly cooked, we had a tasting appetizer with various samples, a first course, a second course and tiramisu, all really excellent, the price is right in relation to the quality of the raw materials, the restaurant also has an excellent wine list. the waiters are well trained, friendly and know how to recommend the specialties prepared and the wine to match. this place is a must go if you go to Elba as a couple. the place is not very family friendly.

Best Pasta al Pesto that i’ve tried in Italy. I loved the way that Mattia explained to us every single dish. He is clear and honest, no filters 😉 and this is admirable!! We had a great time!!!

I came with my husband for a romantic dinner and we were really happy with the choice. The restaurant has a really pleasant atmosphere, elegant but casual/not too posh or overly sophisticated. We were sat at a table in the patio, which was lovely. The restaurant also has a really nice garden with a beautiful view. The service was kind and attentive. My husband and I ordered 1 full course meal and shared every dish to get to try as many things as possible. The staff was so kind to accommodate our request and split each dish into 2 portions. We tried the seafood antipasto, octopus calamarata and cernia. To finish, we ordered the apple crumble and lemon tart. Everything was delicious and very well presented. The quantities were perfect. The price was fair (everything was 80€ which is reasonable considering the location, level of service and food quality and compared to other restaurants on the island). I would definitely recommend it!

Slow and inattentive service. We had the tasting menu, both cooked and raw. The food has potential and the venue is nice. I just regret that my best friend chose it to celebrate her birthday, when we can go anywhere we like on the island… Instead of admitting that they have no real sommelier working that evening, they give us a waiter who has no clue and sells us a bottle of their house “champagne” and forgets about us for the rest of the evening, even though we explain that we’d like to try several wines. Talks negatively about local winemakers on the island (“too expensive”). We mention twice (both to our waiter/quasi sommelier and the restaurant manager) that we are celebrating a birthday and it’d be nice to get a candle with dessert. They even ask me to point out the birthday girl, but then they completely forget about us. As we are getting up to leave we get a “oh and HBD btw” from the waiter. He should’ve kept pretending he forgot, honestly. Update: upon reading this review, the owner basically contacts my best friend on WhatsApp in order to “apologize”, but then turns the whole thing into a rant… pretty sad stuff.

Lovely atmosphere with excellent seafood. Very friendly staff. Great view from the terrace, where you can see the sea. I highly suggest to book early to be able to see the wonderful sunset view. Prices good compared to service.

The restaurant Ristorante lo Sgarbo is a top-class Italian eatery with charming staff and delicious food. It's perfect for a romantic meal or for large groups, and best of all, it accepts reservations. Be sure to ask for a table on the outdoor patio if you can - it's lovely!
Ottimo! Amazing! Great food, fresh ingredients and exceptional experience. Highly recommend for everyone. We ordered a special of a day - Gniocchi con tonno al lime and secondo piato - tagliata di tonno, and for drink - white wine Vermentino from Elba. The best gniocchi we have ever eaten! Tuna was perfect, not overdone. The second time we took spaghetti con vongole, polopa con patate and per dolce tiramisu and cheescake. Regarding the service, I wish I were born in Italy to have their self-confidence, interpersonal skills and the way of life!

A true gem in Capoliveri. Small and very genuine, with amazing food! The staff were very nice. Pre-book if you want a table, we were lucky and got a table but saw many who were refused. Thank you so much for giving us this fantastic experience!

The Place is Beautyful and the Meal is as you Expect it for that category of Restaurant. Nothing Special. But the Man who served us, seem to be the Chef was a Desaster! After we were directly served the Bill even though we had Almost half a Bottle Wine left. And dont get me wrong we are Not sitting there for Hours. Five Minutes after that we where forced to Pay. What we did! After that we had final chat with our Neighbours. And he started spraying cleaning stuff in my direction on the Table. So we had to Interrupt our Chat an left because he was also spraying in direction of our Little son. Dont Go there! There are way better places around.

I went to this amazing restaurant with my 4 friends en we had the best experience. The food was amazing (take zupetta frutti di mare or pasta scoglio), the waiters are funny and the price is correct. You need to make a reservation, ask to sit outside, it’s very cosy!

This is a special place. I've eaten in many places in this island. But this is defenitely the top. Traditional Italian cooking, mainly fish. But cooking a traditional dish like this is not that easy, It's art ... Just try!!!!

Careful, this is NOT the same place it used to be. The Owners changed in spring 2023 and since then it turned really, awful. Very sad, it used to be one of the best places to go to Dinner in Capoliveri. I went there in the summer to give the new Owners a chance, the food and especially the service was a huge let-down. Do not recommend, avoid this place.

Super simple small traditional place, bringing superb flavours to.the table. Lunch today for two started with smoked swordfish carpaccio and gnochetti with clams and bottarga, then we shared a lovely tuna steak perfectly done, all accompanied by a thoroughly enjoyable local white. Bliss!

We went here first for dinner and had lunch again two days later. Both times we left very full and satisfied. We had pasta dishes and glasses of the Elba Bianco house wine. For dessert we recommend the spicy chocolate cake.

I recently dined at L'Osteria dei Quattro Rioni for two consecutive days and if it weren't for my plans to visit the other side of the island, I would have gone there again tonight. The dining experience was flawless, starting with the appetizing bread accompanied by oil and concluding with a delectable dessert. The selection of wines was impressive, featuring a delightful white wine on the first day and a remarkable red wine paired perfectly with a succulent steak chosen by the owner.
In the center, around the corner . Small menu , great pasta . Really nice choice 😎

Lovely food, local products, 3 types of different home made bread. Extremely attentive waiter who went out of his way to accommodate us. The manager came by our table every once in a while too to check on everything. We just had a lovely time here.

It was not good, it was excellent. You have the possibility to eat the famous Fiorentina without any booking, at the super decent price of 55 euros! We have also tried the Cantuccini, the best ones I have ever eaten, ordered from the Mattei Pasticceria, which is literally who invented them. If you want to enjoy a very typical Tuscany experience, this is the right place!!

Our Airbnb host recommended this place and it did not disappoint. The owner is an absolute delight! Not only did he took the time to explain the dishes, he also shared his passion for food, for his island and a few recommendations! We also got to meet the kitchen staff and they were so lovely! Food was beyond our expectations! The Crudité plate is something you cannot skip! That ponzu sauce will be making an apparition in your dreams after that! We also ate the lamb tortellini, the pulled pork and the shrimp raviolis! Fantastic! Desserts were to die for! Amazing selection of wine and local ones as well! It was an absolute pleasure to be hosted by them for one evening! We could not recommend this place enough! This is hands down the best food and service we've had during our trip! This dinner was one for the books and we will be back!

Excellent restaurant, super friendly staff, not all of them speak english, but with german and a little english it works. Very helpfull in choosing what to eat. Because the menu has very specific & rare fish. Myself i started with the raw fish plate. tasted very good, main course was a scorpion fish, dilicious, and last but not least the dessert. It was kind of a creamy yoghurt, but very sweet and tastefull. Defenitely a tip worthy

The best restaurant in Elba. We have visited a couple of times over the years. Quattro Rioni is always the best restaurant that we visit. It is in a lovely, quiet, courtyard location. The staff are very welcoming and professional. The table cloths and napkins are luxurious. The menu is always interesting - traditional dishes but also modern twists. There is an excellent, fairly priced, wine list. Everything we have eaten there has been fantastic. The prices are fair for this very high quality.

Ristorante da Pilade offers an unforgettable dining experience that captures the essence of Elba. Nestled in a picturesque location, this restaurant boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere complemented by attentive staff who genuinely care for their guests. The culinary offerings are exceptional, with a focus on both meat and fish dishes that are prepared to perfection. Diners rave about the freshness and flavor of every plate, from expertly cooked steaks to delightful tartars.
What a magical place! I ate a lot of angus tagliata in the past...but let me tell you....this ONE was freaking amazing with the lardo on top! The service and the ambiente is just top noch. If you are in the area, just stop here please. You won't regret it, I promise!

Great meat! Would say it’s the best on the Island!! And I am basically a local to Isola d’Elba! Prices are good and the service is nice. The only aspect I feel like pointing out is that the location is not nice and the restaurant itself doesn’t look good. Definitely way cooler restaurants on the Island!! But if you love meat, it’s a must!
Costanza C — Google review
Food quality and environment are average compared to other restaurants in Elba. But I have to say the price is higher than average. A small portion of baked potatoes, which is not included with a piece of steak, costs EUR 6. A small portion of salad costs also EUR 6, which is comparable to the salad in a folk restaurant in Switzerland. We visited the restaurant with our little one, who basically only used a high chair without requesting any tableware. Still we had to pay EUR 3 for his seat, the same to all others who actually used tableware. Alright, we respected this may be the ''Italian tradition''. What really upset us was the honesty or/and the counting capability of the staff (or the owner? ). Firstly, they charged us 7 pieces of table service fees, while we were only 4 persons including the 1.5 years old. Moreover, we only ordered a bottle of water, while they charged us two bottles. After I corrected him, he wrote on the receipt EUR 85, although he definitely knew one bottle of water costs EUR 3.5. 88 - 3.5 = 85? Pay your attention to the bill and their honesty when you visit the restaurant!

We had a wonderful experience at Pilade! The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, kind and welcoming staff, and the food is outstanding. Every dish was fresh flavorful, and prepared with great attention to detail The location is perfect and on beautiful property which makes it extra special! Service was attentive but never rushed, and we felt truly taken care of. Highly recommend Pilade if you are visiting Elba – one of the best dining experiences on the island!

Great place especially for meat, but gladly found that the fish is also very good. Vast selection of meat, cooked and garnished exactly how you prefer. Tried the Tartars as well and were also enjoyed. Good selection of wines. Staff are very friendly, helpful and aim to please. Fish dishes were fresh and well cleaned but preferred their meat selection and steaks were great. Gladly recommend and always look forward to returning when on the island!

Make sure you get what you ordered – and check your bill carefully! We paid €257 instead of the expected €138 – nearly double (for only 3 people). Three of us ordered the Classico at €5.00 per 100 grams – the most affordable of the three options, and we clearly communicated this to the staff. We even pointed to it on the menu, and the staff member repeated “Classico” back to us. The service was friendly and the food was of good quality, but when the bill arrived, we were shocked to find we had been served – and charged for – the most expensive Premium option at €9.50 per 100 grams instead. We were also told the portion would be around 1.2 kg for three people, but it ended up being 2.2 kg! + The restaurant is average, way better and more beautiful restaurants up in Capoliveri! Very disappointing experience. Not worth repeating, and certainly not worth the price.

Nestled away from the bustling crowds, Ristorante Pizzeria La Taverna del Torchio is a true gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its stunning sea view terrace, this charming spot offers a tranquil atmosphere perfect for savoring fresh seafood and authentic Neapolitan pizza. The welcoming staff exudes warmth and professionalism, ensuring every visit feels special—many guests find themselves returning multiple times during their stay!
This is definitely „a best caped secret“ on the island. Service and food was exceptional. Pizza 1a, Pasta, 1a, carne & pesce 1a. And the dolce - especially the tiramisushi is a real raffinesse that we have never seen before. The wine list goes from 22 Euro up to 150 Euro+ with really great value for money and beside the usual classics in quality you can find rare and great local wine from the last 30 years. The view is stunning. The team that served our table was super friendly and well coordinated. The plates came in time and in perfect order. It seems that they have improved their services and processes as we can not imagine that the team is not serving top results. We entered the place on a very crowded evening at 8:30 and had the luck to get a table as the restaurant was fully booked and both Terrasses where fully occupied. We were very surprised when we asked for the bill as the total was significantly lower then expected. If you have really good friends or a really important dinner make a reservation at this place - you will enjoy a special place. Thank you Team Taverna Torchio.

Despite the good food, general service, and atmosphere, our experience was bad. Feeling taken advantage of. Good waiters would make you aware if you order too much. Be sure when ordering a meat dish that you ask about the weight. Been told 500g but was 1kg which you will pay for. Not going back there, thanks. 2 adults with 2 kids

This restaurant is outstanding! The photos and reviews do not reflect how amazing the food and the service is. It’s a hidden gem mostly because it has beautiful sunset views from many seating areas (would recommend to book so you don’t miss out). The pizza dough was fluffy and cooked on site in their wood fired. The pasta is home made, with an extensive selection of seafood or meat/ vegetarian dishes. You can’t got wrong with your meal here. The service was great, and best of all, it serves as a wine bar, and has a very vast selection for local and international wines. Highly recommend you add this to your list! The prices are very reasonable. Recommend the pizzas, mussel pasta and wild boar ravioli!

The food was ok, but there were a few surprises. We asked for bistecca to share between two little girls. We got 1,5 kilo bistecca... that was nice but didn't fit the dish we ordered. The most unpleasant surprise was the one on " il Conto" . The restaurant charged us a bottle of wine we didn't drink. Unfortunately we didn't see that in time. Never again!!!

Please note that if you choose this place, there may be additional dishes/drinks on your bill that you did not order. Today we placed an order for almost 60 euros, but when it came time to settle the bill, we were presented with a check for 93.5 euros, including wine that we did not order. Unfortunately, the behavior of the staff did not suggest that this was a mistake; rather, it seemed to be a standard practice when serving customers who do not speak Italian. The food was tasty. The portions were small. Prices were inflated. Not recommended. We suggest looking into other restaurants in Capoliveri. There are plenty of other options to choose from.

You need to make reservation, but it’s worth it: food is local, fresh and tastes very good. The servers were friendly, fast and spoke German. Make sure to grab the bread they serve along the food, it’s the hidden gem. It tastes amazing and definitely not dry. 🥖

Staff was very friendly. The portions were good. The menus was in Italian and German, no English. But it seems that the staff spoke English as well. All the food was good (shown below). I would recommend the pasta with the muscles. French fries were surprisingly good. Also the cost per portion size was fair. I went here with a German who loved the German menu but it took away a bit for me. The bread was excellent. I was not a fan of the sardines but that wasn’t because of how it was cooked. An aperol spritz was also 3.5€ which was the best cost I had on Elba.

Initially uncertain about the establishment due to its peculiar name, Mickey Mouse, this Italian restaurant exceeded expectations. The cuisine was delightful, with certain dishes appearing insufficient but ultimately satiating, and boasting distinctive flavors. Notably, there was a satisfactory variety of options for discerning eaters. The staff were exceptionally amiable, with one server even offering two apologies for inadvertently neglecting to remove mushrooms from a dish. Additionally worth mentioning are the outdoor tables that provide an enchanting evening view.

At first I wasn't sure about this place because the name was Mickey mouse but it went above my expectations. Food tasted amazing, some of the dishes looked like it wasn't enough but it was filling and most dishes had unique flavors. There was also a good amount of dishes for picky eaters. The servers were all very nice and one even apologized twice for forgetting not to take out the mushrooms on one dish. One last thing I would recommend is the outside tables, I sat at one and the view made the evening.

Bastia Poretta BIA airport is located 17km south of Bastia, Haute Corse. It offers convenient transportation options such as a bus shuttle service to Bastia town center and proximity to the Casamozza station. The airport is known for its helpful staff and accessibility. Additionally, it provides clear instructions for security procedures and maintains clean restroom facilities. While prices may be higher, this is typical for an airport setting.
Always a pleasure to fly to Bastia Poretta. Rapid baggage pickup on our first time here with hold luggage. Fast efficient passport control. A small but sufficient duty-free and retail/food area.

Too many flights at the same time and not enough busses to transport to aircraft. Incredibly slow check-in and OK security check. No place to sit and barely enough space for all the people waiting for their flights. Do not want to come here again.
Maja M — Google review
Little airport. Really good toilets in the arrival/departure hall but inside after the security control there are much less seats as passengers. Not good at all. I guess there is just enough seating for 1 small aircraft. I remember some African airports with the same standard or even better....

Stay away if you can. I have been to both Ajaccio airport and Figari. This is by far the worst. It’s extremely crowded. This airport is far to small for the extreme amount of people. The personel are very confused. Too be allowed first to check in your bags less then 1 hour before departure is very bad planning of the airport! When you enter the security check, there is absolutely nothing there. The stores and cafes have a que of 90 people waiting for a water. This is just extreme. Will not come back and will avoid this airport.

Feels like 3rd world airport: Long queues almost everywhere for check-in, car rental etc. The waiting area at the gate is the lowest comfort ever, as many people need to sit on the floor at it seems too much effort to install some more seats.
A L — Google review
The worst airport experience I’ve ever had. No food or drink vending machines, no soap in the toilets, and only one board to find your gate after check-in. The croissant and coffee were terrible, and the prices are questionable. After check-in, there’s just one tiny souvenir shop, and before check-in only a single bookshop. Overall, a really poor experience. I’ll never come back to this airport!
