Restaurant
La Ferme Saint-Amour is a unique establishment located in the heart of Megeve, set in a carefully restored old farmhouse. It offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with its traditional Savoyard chalet style.
We had exceptional Xmas dinner. Atmosphere is so cosy and chic. Very welcome. Beautiful and smiley staff, make you feel special. Excellent service. And final but not last is food. Delicious, presentation with every serving feels like new experience. If chance, definitely stay longer for some great dance session and more cocktails.
Signe B — Google review
Food was excellent - rib eye , ravioli, escargot, tuna tartare. Vibes were immaculate. Book a 9:30 table , gets loud after 10ish
Zainab H — Google review
Another Ferme Saint Amour. This time in Megève. Food is still perfect ( particularly if you consider this is a party place). The service is excellent. But it is mostly about the atmosphere as this is a party place and this place is always on fire. Courchevel Ferme saint amour is above overall on a few points but this one has easier parking and access and it is very big. If you want to party and eat good in Megève, you must not miss this place.
Max L — Google review
Causy and warm restaurant, perfect during Megeve skiing season. Great food and ambiance. Price on high end, average euro 170 per person with food and wine.
Fadi N — Google review
Very impressive and warm place with a brilliant service and great food. Try the baba au rum as a dessert and the chicken with truffle. We ordered the cheapest wine which was super tasty as well. I am giving 4 stars because it was expensive and for this price I would expect some more high gastronomy dishes. I recommend it.
Vas T — Google review
I loved the cheese fondue. Atmosphere is nice and vibrant.. but it gets too hot and too loud late at night
Dee A — Google review
Really enjoyed our dining experience here we ordered for the kids and it came right away, my son didn’t like his food and they changed it with no issues. Our salmon tataki wasn’t as we expected and they took it off our bill. The prawns with coconut milk was phenomenal so was the black cod and the atmosphere and show was great too. Highly recommend this place !
Sarah A — Google review
This was an awful service; undoubtedly the worst we’ve ever received. Waiters have no manners and are aggressive. We got kicked out after main course. The service was also super slow, so they just don’t manage their time-windows and are rude/ pushy. They forced the bill on us as they needed the table. We asked for desert and they said they needed the table and wouldn’t give us the option to take a desert and needed to pay right away and get out. Impolite and you get treated with zero respect; one of those places with no class. Even though you are a big table of 6 that had wine, starters, mains, etc. None of us will come back.

Flocons de Sel

Mentioned on
+5 other lists
Nestled just beyond the bustling town, Flocons de Sel stands out as a culinary gem in the heart of the Alps, boasting an impressive three Michelin stars. This exquisite restaurant offers a fine dining experience that showcases the region's rich flavors and innovative cuisine. For those seeking a more casual yet delightful meal, its sister establishment, Flocons Village bistro, is conveniently located in the resort center and provides a budget-friendly alternative without compromising on quality.
Merci au Chef Emmanuel Renaud et à Emilie pour l’excellente cuisine et l’accueil en salle. A truly fantastic dinner. The food was delicate, elegant, and inspired by the nature. I think that for 3 Michelin star restaurant its tasting menu has an incredible value for money and was very generous in size, with wine pairings that matched perfectly. Service was warm and attentive — even as the only non-French speakers that, we felt completely welcomed.
Tomas — Google review
The overall dinner was nice. Some of the dishes were delicious, some others were okay. I am a colleague of the hospitality industry and love to try fine dining experiences, for this reason I leave this comment, because it is an issue to adress differently in my opinion. I basically found a bullet in my hare course. When we told it to the staff they made it look very normal, not a half apology or explanation. It did not bother me and I totally understand that it can happen. I just think a sign of concern and further attention for the future would have been appreciated at least professionally. Again, I hope the comment will be read to improve the experience for the future costumers (it’s still not normal to find a bullet in a 3 Michelin restaurant course)… Best regards
Teo F — Google review
I visited the restaurant and had a rather mixed experience. The staff were extremely friendly and all spoke good English. We were first led into the upstairs lounge for a drink. The walls were scattered with Michelin signs and decorated in a cozy way, alluding to the authentic nature of the establishment. The dinner took place downstairs and consisted of seven savoury courses and two deserts. The food was imaginative and the presentation was compelling, with dishes oftentimes being "finished" at the table. However, my main complain is the price tag. At over 1,000 EUR for two people, this seemed like a stretch. Certainly, when going to places like these, few are on a budget, but having visited other three-star Michelin restaurants, this one unfortunately left me wishing for more. The selection of the alcoholic beverages is quite fascinating, and we received a copy of the menu at the end of the night, which was a pleasant touch. I would only recommend dining here if you are a true guru and can appreciate the restaurant's long history and the chef's creativity as opposed to somebody coming and expecting a posh dinner experience.
Fedor T — Google review
Absolute perfection. A great little apartment close to town and the service was ON POINT. I definitely recommend the breakfast basket perfectly delivered in a cute basket each morning with freshly squeezed juice. We will be back!
Eleanor H — Google review
Extraordinary stay in an extraordinary place. Of course you expect an outstanding culinary experience at a 3 star Michelin restaurant, but what we didn’t expect is the outstanding and genuinely caring service, as well as the perfect comfort of the place. From the start, you feel welcome, and everything just feels right without being uptight. Not ready for an 8-course meal every night, no worries, the room service in the small salon is magical - like your personal Michelin experience at a very reasonable cost. Finally a special word for Chloé at the reception, so smart and so nice, made us start every day with a smile. It obviously comes directly from the owners who established the right culture. Can’t recommend the place enough. If you hate fake pretentious places and want top quality with a genuine touch and true caring, this is the place for you!
Yoelle M — Google review
Absolutely spectacular food. Emmanuel Renaut even came to our table during dinner and sent us off home the next morning. Brilliant! Rooms are also fantastically large and cozy Highly, highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dennis K — Google review
The restaurant is superb in all respects: Impeccable service, an elegant alpine atmosphere, and creative dishes themed for the local region. The restaurant has been rated 3-stars by the Michelin Guide consistently since 2012. Even though it’s quite expensive, the dining experience is world class and remains an exceptional value for those with a hefty expense account. Reserve a couple months ahead. Check out their library of historic Michelin Guides dating back to 1907.

Le Palais Megève is a sports center in Megeve that offers a variety of activities for all ages. It features a non-ski kindergarten, Club Piou-Piou for young skiers, and La Princesse for children as well. The Olympic Ice Rink inside the facility provides ample space for skating. Visitors can also enjoy amenities such as swimming pools, balneo with open-air and indoor pools, spa facilities, wall climbing, and a gym at reasonable prices.
After 3 days on the slopes we loved this spa day. Great facilities that made us relaxed and help to recovere. The complimentary teas were lovely. Only minus I'd say having 1 toilet and shower is not enough.
Nikola P — Google review
Not only is it a requirement to wear a bathing suit in the sauna but it also has to be a skin tight bathing suit! Same for the swimming pool. Nobody could explain why. Walk-in shower had no soap. Climbing facilities top-notch.
Tom T — Google review
What an amazing indoor 25m lane swimming pool. Score has only been docked because of lack of soap in showers and no free towels. Would strongly encourage you to visit as a swim tourist. The view from the pool edge is pretty spectacular. Go get your swim on!
Stephen T — Google review
The water is warm and the changing rooms clean, hence two stars. The staff were unbelievably petty and rude from the moment we arrived. The children were continously admonished for having fun, despite passing the age requirements for entry. Some of the points staff came and spoke to us about. They asked us not to use the door to go inside/outside - despite allowing everyone else to do this. They asked our children not to play with the water features in the kids only area. They told us off for holding our breath in the water. Exit via the edge of the pool? Nope - steps only. And my personal favourite - they genuinely asked us to stop having fun in the pool. Luckily the children took it all in their stride, but I would absolutely not recommend this as a family destination.
Mariza Y — Google review
Sports center in Megève which can offer different sports activities for everyone: swimming pool, balneo, spa, ice skating ring, wall climbing, gym etc. The prices are very democratic for the location. The facilities clean and nice. I have visited balneo which has open air pool and it was amazing. Same can say about the indoor pool. Highly recommended
Alexandra S — Google review
Very unfriendly staff. You also need to bring tight swimwear or buy it at the spot for 15 euros.
Nils M — Google review
Our swimming and saunas experience were terrible. First of all, ridiculous rules: you need to wear tight swimming suites and can't use swimming shorts; at the entrance you are given a paper bracelet that is easily lost if broken and you are not allowed to get another one, you need to exit the "espace aquatique". The saunas are really rather warm but not "hot". The 95° sauna was more like 60°. You need to leave your boots as security for the towel for which you need to pay 5 euros. Why? Lastly, the staff was rude. I was told that if I don't like France I shouldn't come. The Austrian, German and Italian spas are way much better!
Arsenii I — Google review
Outside pool closed. Inside pool with cold water. Promised was 34, temperature was 30/31 (thanks Apple Watch). My experience was not pleasant.

We’ve ordered the prawns , sea bass and salmon that was all great and had the chocolate mouse ,however the server should have mentioned the portion size of the chocolate mouse ,which was huge and is a serving for least 6 people

It's a chic bar bistrot in the center of Megève. They have an awesome bar serving excellent cocktails. Servers were friendly and efficient.
Ebby_e — Google review
Beautiful cafe, centrally located. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. I had the chicken Cesar salad and my bf had the onion soup. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the soup, although not traditional, was so good. Like most the restaurants in town, the meal was pricy but the quality and service was great.
Mark R — Google review
We couldn’t resist the charm of this building and its decoration and decided to try the breakfast. The omelette, French viennoiseries, and juices were delightful. Esther’s service was exceptional -she remembered all six orders without writing them down and was attentive to my needs, especially with the bread :) Her friendliness added to our experience. I’ve included some photos to capture the ambiance.

Sasha was absolutely a delight to have as our server. He was very kind, patient, held a wealth of knowledge, and he truly made our experience special. The food was great - we had the truffle pasta and the sea bass. Ceviche and tartare to start, paired with a lovely bottle of Sancerre and some cocktails. Highly recommend.

For those who enjoy fishing, trout can be caught year-round except during winter months. While swimming isn't allowed, summer brings opportunities for occasional watersports to delight adventurous tourists.
This place is amazing. Access road is not great, but who cares when you get the best view upon reaching. Pro tip: grab a lunch and eat here while enjoying the most beautiful place in this area.

(Translated by Google) Short hike on the heights of Megève with this nice surprise at the end, an artificial lake in a magnificent setting, we stayed there for a few hours. There you will find two snack bars/restaurants, a chairlift departure point, swimming is prohibited but fishing is permitted. Access is possible by car but I do not recommend it, the road is narrow and in poor condition and the crossing is complicated. It's best to park your car much further down and put on your walking shoes! It's worth a look. L'accès est possible en voiture mais je le déconseille, la route est étroite et en mauvaise état et le croisement compliqué. In the heart of Megève stands the Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste, a magnificent church with a rich history dating back to the 13th century. The exterior is currently undergoing restoration, but the interior remains stunning. Generous donors have contributed to its preservation, allowing visitors to admire its beauty for free. The church features an atypical Stations of the Cross made from photos and is known for its bulbous bell tower housing a carillon of 10 bells.

Restaurant
La Table de l'Alpaga is a renowned gastronomic restaurant located in Megève, France. The restaurant has earned two Michelin stars since 2020 and is known for its gourmet and seasonal Alpine cuisine. Chef Anthony Bisquerra draws inspiration from the Alpine environment to create menus that reflect the changing seasons. The dining room features a cathedral ceiling, picture-window wall with mountain views, and Japanese ryokan-inspired wooden panels.
Truly a superb dining experience. Our party enjoyed a delicious and creative tasting menu, accompanied by a thoughtful wine pairing and service that was attentive and friendly, and, never stuffy. There are inherent limitations to the Michelin star rating system, but, that said, La Table's one star is thoroughly well-deserved.
Uncle A — Google review
This was my second time eating here. We ordered the 8 course menu, which was again thoughtfully designed to incorporate a variety of flavors from Savoy as well as incorporate seafood dishes. The staff and service were excellent, attentive and friendly. My favorite dish was the frog legs which was composed of a flavorful blend of garlic and herbs and just prepared so well. All the other primary dishes were solid, and the presentation well designed. We also enjoyed the creative snowball themed dessert from the pastry chef. The soup was just ok. Despite the good food, I left the experience a bit disappointed and feeling taken advantage of. On my first dining experience, we split a wine pairing which was excellent. This time, I simply ordered a glass of wine with dinner, after asking for a recommendation from the sommelier of his favorite wine by the glass (on the menu, the most expensive wine per glass was 15 euros). My sister, who joined me for dinner that night, was later ordered the same recommendation. When I paid for the bill, those glasses were 27 euros each, almost double the most expensive glass available on the wine menu. The initial champagne drinks we were offered before viewing the menu were also around 30 euros each. While we very much enjoyed the meal and the top quality service, I can’t help but feeling a bit taken advantage of for eating at a fancy restaurant and overcharged for beverages in a setting where it would be awkward to ask the price yet the price was outside of the reflective context on the menu. If they need to make a higher margin, this isn’t the way they should go about it.

Absolutely wonderful, will be going back again and again. The entire hotel is set in a beautiful part of the mountains with an enjoyable drive through winding roads. If you are an EV driver who suffers from rekkeviddeangst - or range anxiety - they have a number of charge points in the carpark to use while you dine. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, the options to accomodate my ridiculous food restrictions were on par with the carefully selected tasting menu. The wine parings were varied so that every glass really felt like a new experience and the sommalier was kind enough to tell us exactly where each bottle came from and how far away it was - great for planning our next trip. I brought my 2 year old to dinner (with many contigency plans to take him somewhere quiet if he got annoying, I swear!) but the staff were so lovely and welcoming he somehow was on his best behaviour. They made him a kids meal that was delicious enough to be for adults at any other restaraunt with a great deal of variety in taste and texture. He still stole most of my food, but he is a bit of a gourmet, so I took some of his. Anyway this is getting too long, food was exquisit, setting was gorgeous, ambiance was wonderful and the staff were amazing.

Lovely restaurant with a charming cosy interior, great food and - especially - wine and exceptional good service. We waited a bit longer for the check than we would have liked but otherwise it was perfect!

I Can not recommend this Restaurant at all. Unqualified Service, bad food, unimaginative chef. You are better off in any other Restaurant in megeve. By far the worst we have tried. The 2 Michelin stars are fore sure not deserved. I can not understand the high ranking on Google.

(Translated by Google) An absolutely exceptional meal at La Table de L’Alpaga! Chef Alexandre Baule delighted us with refined dishes and careful presentation. Every bite was an explosion of flavors. A particularly memorable moment was when the chef came to our table to serve us his famous Pithiviers himself, a true culinary masterpiece. I opted for the 8-course menu and I loved the fact that each portion was perfectly measured: full at the end of the meal, without having that feeling of being nauseated or having eaten too much. Additionally, it offers a vegetarian option on the menu, which is a real plus for vegetarians without compromising on creativity and taste. The decoration of the restaurant, in a modern and warm chalet, creates an intimate and elegant atmosphere. The staff, of impeccable kindness, were attentive throughout the evening, perfectly attentive without being intrusive. A unique gastronomic experience in Megève. We will come back without hesitation!

Food was excellent - rib eye , ravioli, escargot, tuna tartare. Vibes were immaculate. Book a 9:30 table , gets loud after 10ish

I loved the cheese fondue. Atmosphere is nice and vibrant.. but it gets too hot and too loud late at night

La Ferme de Mon Pere, a legendary restaurant in the village of Megeve, has a rich history and was once the only restaurant to receive a perfect score from Gault Millau. Although it closed in 2005, it was renovated and reopened by the Zannier Group in 2011. The restaurant now offers fine dining with a romantic ambiance and a sense of history.
Best burger. We are from nyc and it rivals Minetta tavern and Gramercy tavern. Whilr it’s not officially on the menu, the staff was so accommodating. The decor was rustic chic. Was very quiet - not sure why - the food and ambience is great. Perhaps a quiet evening before the winter break?

We had an amazing dinner here last week. The atmosphere was warm, felt like a real chalet in Megeve. The service was great, the staff gentle but not too present which was perfect. The dishes were really good but a little bit overpriced for the actual quality. I was expecting a little bit more considering the reputation of being one the best luxury restaurants of the city. However the wine cart was great, i highly recommend the Portuguese winery.
Eloïse B — Google review
Very average and disappointing. An overpriced place for the Megève clientele with super low quality food. We paid €48 for a slice of beef potentially bought in Casino. Bad quality meat with a super market sauce on it (which by the way was not mentioned on the menu). €23 for average fries. It was a joke. The decoration was super nice and the starters as well, though. When the manager asked what do we think about the food, we told them that we found it disappointing they didn't do anything for us. They didn't care. Prices of a luxury restaurant with an attitude of Mc Donald's. We were convinced by the rating but I suppose it is just their family who has given those reviews. Don't spend your money and time there. Megeve is a place with amazing restaurants with brilliant food and 5 stars service.
Vas T — Google review
This restaurant is a culinary experience for the senses. Come to enjoy and share the dishes of this colourful menu with tastes from several countries: there’s hummus and tzatziki and then there’s entrecôte and potatoes with finely grazed truffle. The sommelier will let you choose the right wine presenting them with details and professionalism. We specifically enjoyed the magical art of Monsieur Patrick Ray and the service of Lucy. Although we would have preferred the place to have more light, we cannot deny the fact that there is a special ambiance that attracted us. Everyone speaks English, from the maitre to the lady who takes your coat.

Surprisingly tasteless dishes. Grilled vegetables with a sour taste, Risotto with truffles without any smell of truffles and with that sour taste, the texture does not reach the risotto. The red wine from the Loire Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil was good. Will not recommend to visit for lunch or dinner, for a glass of wine, yes

Meat dish restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Megeve, Beef Lodge is a paradise for meat lovers. The restaurant boasts a lavish decor with animal hides and trophies, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Its menu showcases top-quality meats such as Black Angus, Simmental, and Texas premium beef, all grilled to perfection in an Argentinian oven. The refined setting adorned with wood and warm draperies adds to the allure of this steakhouse.
The atmosphere is amazing ( look at pictures). The staff is -in my experience and compared with others in France- exceptionally kind and supportive if you need something at all. The steak was nice, the béarnaise sauce perfect but the salad was a bit dry. My wife had the fish which was very tasteful. At all it is a bit pricy but everything is expensive in that neighbourhood so acceptable.
Stephane G — Google review
Beef brisket was really great as was the truffle wagyu beef cannelloni. Both were very rich so consider this when you order. Lemon sorbet was superb as well. Lovely service and cozy vibe.
Rachel D — Google review
It was a nice dinner but one would expect more from a place specialising primarily in beef. Angus rib eye steak was just ok considering it was Argentinian meat, it was cooked about right but unfortunately it was missing juiciness and didn’t really taste anything like any of the meat I have tried in Argentina before. The portion is advertised as 350g. It may as well have been 350g before cooking but on my plate I had about 250g at best as per picture attached. My wife’s picanha arrived cold. On the positive side, the service was fantastic and atmosphere unique, you won’t find anything like that in Megeve. Staff was friendly and very quick to respond, particularly when we complained about water glasses having an odd smell of dust or mustard condiment being open and partially consumed by previous customer. Bread and butter were absolutely delicious and we didn’t leave the place hungry at all. Just a bit disappointed! I also thought the overall price wasn’t too bad for Megeve.

We had a fantastic meal at the Beef Lodge. Its a quality establishment with an extenesive wine list from across the different regions of France and a class selection of meat cuts from all over the world. The staff here are well trained, welcoming and knowledgable (a similar vibe to Hawksmoor or Gaucho in the UK). The restaurant is busy, a great, atmosphere and with beautiful decor. We didnt share one of the large cuts on offer as (sadly)my wife wanted the fish, I had the cut with the whisky flambe, a tender flame grilled steak with a smokey finish which I highly recommend if you want your steak slightly different! All the food was excellent and we were well looked after including our doggo, Hector. We will definitely be returning.

A superb find!! Dishes were very well researched, extremely tasty and a pleasure to the eyes as you can see from the pictures - tasty bread kept on coming with very professional service - very well done. The best experience from the 7 restaurants we did in Megeve this week.

The restaurant Le Saint Nicolas is perfect for dinner after spending a day in the mountains. The service and food are excellent, and the value for money is great on the menu option. The wine selection by the glass is also very good. Highly recommend!
Great restaurant and superb tasting menu. You could choose among 3 different tasting menus or a small à-la-carte menu. Service and reception was curated. The wine list is also very ample. Definitely recommended.

A restaurant for me is about the food and the client experience. I made a mistake when I made the reservation and ended up not having dinner there. I was however quite disappointed that even after being honest about the mistake, and speaking to them, they still decided to charge 100€ per person as a penalty on us for making the wrong reservation. I understand restaurants should charge to be able to manage capacity. However after speaking to the clients, deciding to charge 300€ for serving nothing shows the la k of flexibility and their final goal. It’s not about serving clients and offering good experiences. It’s just charging the highest possible, no matter what.

Food was rather average. We chose a tasting menu, but the courses we received were not what was on the menu. Beef was sadly tasteless, and was the dish I was most looking forward to. The cheese came with zero condiments. And the head chef was often texting on his phone. Real shame.

Overall experience was ok, i personally don’t like when their is not many choices. Unique menu, food was great tho, but imo when you offer a unique menu it need to be just perfect, sizing, seasoning, presentation must be top notch. It was good but not enough for the price

Cosa Papa is a charming upscale trattoria nestled within an old casino, offering a delightful blend of Italian cuisine and entertainment. With its inviting ambiance under a stunning glass roof, it's the perfect spot to savor delectable antipasti and authentic Neapolitan pizzas that are ideal for sharing with loved ones. Adding to the fun, Cosa Papa features a cozy bowling alley with three lanes, making it an excellent choice for an evening out with friends.
Pizzas are amazing, and the pasta are delightful. Yann and Lucille took great care of us, and the service was outstanding. We arrived without a booking, and the hostess found us a place at the bar even with a full house.
Tiago A — Google review
I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience at this restaurant. When my parents (who are Arab) arrived before us, they politely showed the hostess our online request for a table for six. They were told in a rude and dismissive manner that it was “just a request, not confirmed,” and no table was available. However, when my sister and I arrived just 10 minutes later and asked for a table for six, we were told a table was available and were asked to wait just a few minutes. The only noticeable difference? My sister wasn’t wearing a headscarf and spoke better English. The treatment my parents received was not only disrespectful but felt discriminatory and possibly racist. This level of service is unacceptable, and the restaurant should train its staff to treat all customers with respect and equality. We did not dine in it and do not recommend this place to anyone who values fair and kind treatment.

This place is a rip off. Bowling nice but way too expensive. They charge per person instead of per lane. For 4 kids and 2 adults you have to pay EUR 120 for one hour!! Food is ok, but the value for money very poor. EUR 240 for 1 pizza, 2 pastas, 1 starter, 1 bottle of water and a bottle of red wine. They empty your pockets, not because they offer anything special, but just because they are based in Megève.

Stumbled across this place by accident while looking for a meal in Megeve. We absolutely loved it, the food was fantastic as was the service and ambience, DJ came on around 9.30pm. Clearly the executive chef is having a big influence. Best for older kids in my opinion. We’re on the waitlist for 2 days time 😅
Chris H — Google review
My experience at this place was a bit disappointing.. Although we made a reservation, we were seated in a very isolated table where it was very easy for us to be neglected. Some of the waiters were very stand-offish & unwelcoming. Although I understand that this is also a bowling place, it was toooooooo noisy & disturbing as the small bowling room was packed with large families & children. We could barely hear the DJ… I suggest you close off the room or limit the amount of guests that are bowling.

If you're skiing in Megeve, I highly recommend visiting Alpage de Pré Rosset for a delicious lunch. Their Tartifette is a must-try and is made with homemade ingredients, guaranteeing a delightful experience. Located away from the main crowds near Rochefort and Lanchettes tire-fesses, the restaurant offers stunning views along with friendly and accommodating staff. Despite being on the pricier side, the quality of food justifies it.
Very nice place to have lunch at the top of the mountain. Unlike other restaurants d'altitude, this one is reasonably priced for excellent food (they even offer free water!!!). Absolutely worth the trip. Don't forget to book ahead!

Decent place for a good lunch whilst skiing. Only 2 waiters taking orders on the terrace outside is simply not good enough. It should not take 2 hours to have a main course and desert / coffee - and we had to ask again for the coffee when we came to pay - especially given the prices. Feel like I lost an hour of skiing due to insufficient staff numbers.

Way, way, way, way too expensive. 24€ for a cheeseburger and 7€ for a Powerade. And the cheeseburger? Mediocre. And the sauce for the fries costs extra. I hope the corporate individual who priced this menu experiences a life event that enables them to appreciate the value of 31 hard earned Euros. PS The median monthly wage in France is 2400€. A cheeseburger at this establishment is a full 1% of your average French monthly salary. A cheeseburger.
Zack S — Google review
We were ignored for 30’. The prices were different in the menu outside compared to the menu card they gave us. The soup was 25€ vs 18€ and very small with nothing on the side. The plache was terrible quality with something that they called tzatziki and had carrots and cumin inside and focaccia that had fake cheese on top. I would not recommend anyone to go for food at fruitiere of floor douce.
Artemis P — Google review
Can’t find a better place for apre in my opinion. Their DJs are really awesome and the overall atmosphere is amazing no matter how many days in a row you choose to go. I guess the only downside is that you have to ski down after the party since there’s no other way to get back in town but the green slope is easy to navigate and it makes for a wonderful sunset ride with exceptional views on the way down.

Place looks nice and energetic. Would have loved to come here another day with more snow. Unfortunately we only managed to visit once before it closed in the end of Dec due to now snow and the Mt Joux lift being closed. I don’t understand how they don’t make it accesible even for days with bad snow conditions. Because this is one of the few good Apre Ski places in Saint Gervais.

Le Vieux Megève is a charming restaurant located in an old farm typical of Haute-Savoie, featuring a beautiful flowered facade, imposing beams, and a large fireplace. The restaurant is known for its delicious food with lots of cheese and exceptional service.

Le Vieux Megève – A Disappointing Experience If you're looking for an authentic and welcoming dining experience in Megève, Le Vieux Megève is not the place to go. My visit confirmed many of the negative reviews I had read beforehand, and unfortunately, it lived up to its poor reputation. Service: Rude and Snobbish From the moment we walked in, the staff made it clear that customer service is not their priority. The waiters were indifferent, unskilled, and at times outright rude. There was no effort to create a warm atmosphere, and any requests were met with dismissive attitudes. The overall vibe felt like they were doing us a favor by serving us. Food: Very Average at Best Given the prices and the reputation of Megève, I expected at least a decent culinary experience. Instead, the food was underwhelming—bland, uninspired, and far from the quality one would expect in a traditional Savoyard restaurant. It lacked both authenticity and refinement, making it clear that the kitchen, much like the service, does not prioritize excellence. Ambiance: Lacking Soul While the setting itself has potential, the cold and snobbish attitude of the staff drains any charm the place could have. There was no sense of hospitality, making the experience feel transactional rather than enjoyable. Overall Verdict There are far better places in Megève where you can enjoy a great meal without the arrogance and mediocrity of Le Vieux Megève. If you value good service and quality food, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

At this point they tell us the chef would go and get some and that they would be ready in 10 minutes but of course at the end of the meal the waitress asks the magic question: “are you still expecting your fries or did you give up?” - last gem, here is a picture of the portion size of Berthoud, a cheese main dish that costs approx 30€ and that was just a few spoons. I can only guess they had run out of cheese as well… Long story short, a ridiculous meal for 368€, for which we didn’t even receive an apology or a free digestif but a waiter that was actually expecting a tip… This place used to be a gem and I was extremely sad when it closed last year. Now it reopened under new management but frankly it would have been better if it just closed forever. A shame. Never again…

It was great food, especially raclette with potatoes, you also can cook the meat on your own table…the staff was very helpful…They have two seatings at 19:30 and 21:00 it seems it is always busy…

Geneva Airport

Airport
Geneva Airport is a bustling hub in Switzerland, featuring two terminals and a convenient direct railway link. The city of Geneva itself is renowned for its stunning architecture, picturesque views, and rich history, making it a popular destination for travelers. Whether you're passing through or planning an extended stay, Geneva offers an array of activities to explore. The airport itself boasts efficient operations with minimal wait times at security and passport control, as well as comfortable seating areas for relaxation.
I was at Geneva Airport for a transfer flight and overall, it was a smooth and well-organized experience. The transfer process was easy and on time, which I really appreciated. One thing I liked was the availability of charging stations — they’re everywhere, which is super convenient. However, the airport could really improve in terms of food and drink options. There were only a few restaurants and coffee shops, with a limited selection. Definitely something that could be better. But in terms of efficiency and comfort for a short stay, it did the job well.

Lovely little spot off the beaten track within the Geneva tourist attraction circuit. Was not here long on my outbound trip. Things were smooth getting off the plane, but absolute chaos (long queue) going through border control. A shuttle bus was required to get from the car rental desk to the actual car, which was strange. But no questions were asked when we departed with 6 people in a 5 person car (re-awarded a detracted star for this). The EU passport queue also looked long. We did not require baggage retrieval services so it’s difficult to say how efficient these were, but the conveyor belts were plagued with advertising for Uber so I am not convinced. On my return, checkin, bag drop and security were fast and quarm-free. Overall, one star deducted for large border queue on the outbound.

For such a modern country, the airport was really unmodern. Like you have to take out liquids and computer from your bag. The seating before the gates are uncomfortable and there are barely no charging stations. Also no water fountain, I think it would have been nice I think they can do better. But still it was okej and the stores have a lot off opinions but realy expensive

Comparing to the well known city, its airport facilities are below my expectation since I was visiting here for the first time. The airport is not large, and we waited to pass the immigration for about an hour. There are 3 large ATM machines for you to get local currency. Nothing special about the stores and snack bars. The signs for ground transportation were not very clear. We spent some time to find out where the bus stop to Chamonix was. Outside the airport, every sign is in French. Made it even more difficult.

If I could give reviews in the negative I'd give -1000 specifically for the ground staff of Qatar Airways. I fly with them almost on a monthly basis for work, and as a OneWorld Emerald member (highest frequent flyer tier) I have access to priority check-in. Three times already this year, on separate occasions, the priority check-in queue is jammed for over an hour simply because the ground staff and especially the manager is incapable of managing groups travelling perhaps on business class, but with literal trolleys of bags and boxes that occupy both priority check-in desks for no reason. It is not normal that I am next in the queue and yet it takes me more than an hour because the manager would not free up an extra check-in desk for those who are not travelling with 20+ luggages?! I spoke with the manager and she rudely told me they are in business so I basically have to suck it up and after gaslighting me into saying they did not know in advance people would come with so many luggages (so where do the massive trolleys come from!?) and they were passengers like any others, not "VIPs" (while literally putting VIP labels on their boxes/luggages and after the other ground staff referred to them as VIPs). So what is the use of priority check-in?! Surely if they were so VIPs they should have their own lane. And again this is not the first time it happens - last time it happened was in mid-June same incident. The ground crew should know/expect parties with 20+ luggages are coming and open an extra counter or something, but seems like they do not care given it is not the first time it occurs and they'd rather be rude to the average passenger. It is an appalling, shameful way of treating customers regardless of whether they have FF status anyways or not, and again - so rude?! For no reason?! For an airline that is award-winning they should be ashamed of their ground crew and how they treat the passengers.

Easy to get around, polite flight staff and security to assist. Lots of food, shops to browse and buy some great brand items like Rolex, Rado and more. Free WiFi from the booth, a few small business desks to recharge your tablets & phones, plus seating with charge stations for mobile phones. Granite floors, fresh structural steel design roof and full glass walls, make this airport so fresh. The train from Geneva city is only 6min and to go through security was really fast in Switzerland. I had a great experience here, safe and wonderful, will definitely return here in near future. Make it your destination on your bucket list in tje future.

This is a complete mess that they combine airlines and still not working in full capacity. If lucky, the line takes minimum 2-3hrs. Do people have to stand still for 2 hrs only to check in ? Usually 10-15 airlines are combined. Once the line was starting from outside of the airport. This needs to be fixed immediately.

No Air conditioning in mid of summer!!! The airport was incredibly hot and everyone was sweating. There was too many delays wich caused us and many people to miss our connection flights. The gate changed at least 3 times. The food options in the airport are very limited and overpriced significantly. The kids area is just 2 toys. Will never stop here again. Edit: after 3 hours delay the flight was cancelled. So frustrating 😡
