La Halte des Pèlerins is a family-run winery located just 5 minutes from the town center. Visitors can enjoy guided tours of the vineyard and facilities, learning about the history of winemaking and tasting delicious wines. The friendly staff, including the owners, are known for their warm welcome and engaging conversations. The wine tour offers an opportunity to sample four different types of wines, but visitors often end up trying more.
Wonderful experience. Excellent wine-tasting provided by extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Patrick — Google review
Was so fun time to taste wines. Good explanation, nice wine and all laugh left happy moment for me. Want to visit and buy ice wine - the best one we three picked!
HJ S — Google review
We had an incredible experience. This was by far the best wine tour ever. The conversation was amazing, the tour was NOT rushed, and the wines were perfectly balanced and delicious. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful place.
Alexander A — Google review
Super friendly staff. The owners make a point to greet you and chat with you. Heidi was super cute with her jokes. This is a family owned biz and I love their story of how they began their operations by helping the pilgrims who are on their way to the shrine. That why the name. Owners described the wine making process. You get to taste 4 types of wines in 16 bucks. Parking available. Now I know why it is the # 2 spot on things to do in Sherbrooke
Anand K — Google review
Wonderful wines and very friendly and helpful staff. The tasting is very relaxed. Well worth a visit!
Edwin R — Google review
Great experience. The owner was there, bilingual, friendly and knowledgeable. A nice cross section of wine types and flavors. Our tasting was supposed to be 4 wines, and they served 7. Very happy
Joshua G — Google review
We checked online for opening hours and it said open till 5pm. We arrived around 12 and completely shut down. We drive from far maybe update hours of operation so that others don’t waste their time to go to your vineyard

Theaters
Located in downtown Sherbrooke, the Granada Theatre is a historic Canadian landmark that has been repurposed as a versatile venue for various events and shows. Originally a cinema, it now hosts banquets, conferences, launches, and live performances while retaining its period decor. The theatre's rich history and unique ambiance make it an ideal setting for concerts and cultural gatherings with its impressive acoustics.
Great place to see some of the best shows in town. Seat space in the balcony can be a bit tight and press on the knees if you're 6+ feet.
Erick T — Google review
Loved it! The place it’s lovely and has such amazing architectural features!! I liked that we could hear the show from the bar lineup! Only down side is the seating, I sadly had a taller person in front of me so I couldn’t see all but I saw enough to enjoy the show 🥰🥰 will definitely consider returning in the future
Alycia C — Google review
Vintage feel, nevertheless the sound still vibrating beautifully throughout its dated walls.
Jill S — Google review
Awesome cultural place for concerts and other events with perfect acoustics and lovely atmosphere of an old Italian? city. Visited during the Dead South concert and it was spectacular! One star down due to the price of one beer can - 1/5th of a ticket price for one beer is just not cool.
Milan P — Google review
Nice theater, but sitting up in the balcony, I had trouble making out what the standup comic was saying and missed out on half the jokes. Also, I have never seen the seat isle so narrow. While sitting, my knees were literally touching the seat in front...
Alain C — Google review
Very nice old theater. We saw a descendents show there and I couldn’t believe the floors are carpet. There was beer and trash everywhere up by front stage. We enjoyed the show however. Hate to be the one to clean those carpets haha.
Kaela T — Google review
Nice venue with a cool layout, amazing sound quality 👌

I was here for the banquet. Everything was excellent, drinks, staff, deserts, and food. There was an amazing live music. It was great.

Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of Sherbrooke by paying a visit to the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Center. Housed in a charming late 19th-century estate, this center offers an authentic experience that provides insight into the cultural traditions of Lennoxville and its surrounding region. Indulge in a traditional English afternoon tea served on weekends throughout the year, and weekdays during summer. The center's diverse cultural program promises an enriching journey through local history.
I went for afternoon tea. Before the service we visited the historical house, and the forest garden. The site is enchanting. There are photos with information about the tradition of tea throughout the forest. The house hosts an art gallery and beautiful period furnitures. Staff was available to answer questions and they were very knowledgeable. The tea service was very special: the setting on the porch, the delicious food, staff presentation. The only negative was that the tea was not very hot despite the tea cozy. Reservation is a must for the tea service.
Car M — Google review
I recently visited the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Center in Sherbrooke and was impressed by the atmosphere and the events offered. One of the most memorable features of my visit was the English tea party held at the center. The tea party at Uplands is not just a treat but an event that immerses you in the spirit of old English traditions. The setting was cozy and elegant, reminiscent of classic Victorian homes. Guests were offered a wide selection of fragrant teas, and a variety of desserts. The staff were very friendly and attentive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I especially appreciated how they shared stories about the traditions of English tea parties and the history of the house. In addition to the tea party, the center has many interesting exhibits dedicated to the history and culture of the Eastern Townships region, making the visit even more enriching and educational. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a delightful time and experience a genuine English tea party, the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Center is the perfect choice. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates history, culture, and cozy traditions
Vlad K — Google review
Very interesting place with lots of memory triggers for me. Lovely staff, great set up for tea on the lawn. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
Lynn E — Google review
Not the best tea, but certainly the best food for the price. The setup is also very nice and the staff is just great.
Etienne M — Google review
I visited "The Uplands" in Sherbrooke today, and I must say it's a remarkable place. The Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre, set on the historic Uplands estate dating back to 1862, offers a fascinating journey into the history and cultural traditions of Lennoxville (Sherbrooke) and its region through a diverse cultural program. The experience was enriching, and I would gladly give it a 5-star review. If you're in Sherbrooke, don't miss the opportunity to explore this cultural gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Park
Bois Beckett Forest is a unique natural oasis with old maple and beech trees, offering a tranquil and calm environment throughout the year. The forest features evergreen patches, ideal for bird watching and wandering along unofficial trails to the north. Accessible via bus stops nearby, it provides well-maintained trails suitable for hiking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing. Despite occasional muddy areas, it's a great spot for nature lovers seeking relatively short walks in a beautiful wooded area.
Great trails and lots of fun for nature lovers. Free parking, well maintained trails in all seasons. Fun for those who like to hike, snowshoe or cross country ski.
Melissa T — Google review
Nice trail in the woods. Very little elevation, the trail is pretty "easy." The paths are a bit narrow (which I prefer). Enough room to easily walk side by side with a friend. A sign at the front warns about how to behave if you encounter coyotes.
Blondie B — Google review
It was a quick walk, autobus is available and the bus stop is very close. You can also take a 15 minutes walk in the neighborhood to other bus stops where the bus is more frequent. I went during the winter time so I didn't see any animals. The good thing is that it's not crowded.
Amir A — Google review
Very gorgeous place. The trails are pretty dry good drainage. Just avoir trail #4 it is very wet.
Daniel S — Google review
Great for relatively short walks, beautiful wooded area with well laid out paths. Great for dog lovers.
Raymond C — Google review
Park that is tucked away, deep into the woods.
Jill S — Google review
Absolute oasis of calm and tranquility year round. Patches of evergreen, bird watching, wandering the unofficial trails to the north, and multiple points of access make this a nice way to spend an hour or two. Watch out for mud on the trails though: there are many low lying areas than can force you to double back.
Justin C — Google review
Very beautiful park, especially during and after rain. Path 3 is closed for a long time. I wish they reopen it. It is very common to run into Gazelles.

Beautiful Park around the lake, plenty of space with trees and view of the city.

Very nice festival, colorfull, music and food from different cultures. A spicy taste of the world. I recommend it!!

Great music, small mid way that is more for the younger kids, and nightly fireworks that are a must see. Artisans with really neat products. Food always a favorite with the beavertails, specialty coffee Hubert St Jean, homemade doughnuts, el tabernaco, gyros with meat cooked in front of you and all the goodies you can find at a fair.

Absolutely a beautiful place for long walks . The fall season is very captivating for the eyes. A lot to learn also

While visiting the city of Sherbrooke, I had the opportunity to explore the Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart, a place that is both beautiful and sacred. The panoramic view it offers of the city of Sherbrooke is simply stunning. It's a place that inspires peace and reflection, and there's a particularly holy atmosphere to it. If you're in Sherbrooke, I highly recommend visiting this sanctuary to soak in its serenity and admire the spectacular view. It's an experience that's truly worth it. 🏞️🙏✨✝️

We had Visita Iglesia or Church visit during good friday at Sherbrooke Shrine. It was a peaceful and quiet place uphill on a cold and windy breeze. With few people on that afternoon.
Acee J — Google review
No need to be religious to enjoy this place, But it helps. The view from this place is amazing. The Zundel walkpath around the pond is so relaxing and inspiring. The path of the crosses is a great little walk. Recommended for all. A little pearl to discover around sherbrooke.
Klaus M — Google review
A friend brought me here and we walked around outside. The paths were clean and not busy at all. It’s really integrated in the mountain and trees. The statues were beautiful and impressive. The chapel is so calm and they had prayer cards at the kneelers. Wonderful space.

Cute shrine. We stopped in to stretch our legs as we made our way back to the States. Tiny stone chapel, with a larger church next door. The grounds are nice to walk around which feature the Stations.

Science museum
The Musée de la nature et des sciences de Sherbrooke offers interactive and virtual exhibits showcasing animals, nature, and science. It is home to over 65,000 objects and specimens illustrating the diversity and evolution of life on Earth. Visitors can explore a circuit featuring 17 outdoor murals with trompe-l'oeil style, accompanied by the Muralis application that brings the frescoes to life through augmented reality technology.
Stopped in to look around on a rainy day in Sherbrooke, and we were not disappointed! This is a quirky, but educational and interactive science museum. Learned so much about squid, octupus, birds, bears, and the history of the planet! The staff were very sweet. They have a cafe and a little gift shop too!
Blair B — Google review
It's small but very well organized and fun! Many options to explore. You can watch documentaries, get coffee, and ask for the interactive show of the history of the region, it's definitely worth it. Beside animals you can also find old fishing and hunting gear. For tourists I suggest you start with this museum to understand the story of Sherbrooke before starting your trip.
Amir A — Google review
This place is a great place to bring your kids. Prices are very reasonable, at home this place would be crazy expensive. Had lots to do, hands on, loved it in there
Judy — Google review
Visited here midweek, there is free parking nearby reserved for the museum and also plenty of paid road parking outside. Really friendly and helpful reception staff who organised one of the interactive sessions in English. Musuem is across several floors, the wild animal floor is very impressive, kids will love it. A must visit if in the area.
Paul — Google review
2021 December 4.5★ A small museum with 2 full levels of exhibits, the other levels are considerably smaller. Free parking is available on the side. While this museum is small, it's displays are beautiful. Absolutely stunning pieces of well arranged art. Wonderfully elegantly placed and put together with pride. Currently on the main floor, you'll find historic pieces from different regions. Historic pieces that tell stories of the past with focus on nature. Some pieces in the collection are absolutely intriguing. On the same floor, there's an interactive 4D experience showcase telling the history of Sherbrooke. Kids loved it as they get to be immersed in the process. On the upper floor, there's a display called Alter@nima, wildlife taxidermy is displayed and arranged beautifully. Look at the pictures yourself and see! Better yet, if you're in the area, stop by. It'll only take about 2 hours of you take time to admire the settings and attend the interactive program. In the basement, it's a small display for kids, a tornado machine, earth quake machine and 2 rooms for play. One is a colors based area, the other... I'm not so sure of. This floor was a bit underwhelming. There's an area for sitting. Maybe a classroom style display. While the actual displays are limited as there's limited space here, i thought it was like artwork with what they had. Would come by if you haven't been. I think it would be good for visitors.
K W — Google review
For a small local museum, it was surprisingly entertaining. The displays were very informative and of high quality. The diversity of the exhibits kept the tour very interesting. They had several interactive exhibits that kept my three children involved and enthusiastic about what they were experiencing. Definitely a great way to spend a couple of hours with your family. An awesome rainy day activity. I would definitely recommend this museum.
Jay J — Google review
I visited the museum last Sunday and the lady in the reception was so welcoming. I lived the way the expositions were designed and how they label each item. The earthquake simulator was my favorite.
Gema G — Google review
Great place for the family. This museum is also on the "passeporte" program through the tourist office to save a bit of money. The 4-D presentation was really quite good. That alone is nearly worth the entire entrance fee. Lots of interactive displays to keep the young, curious minds busy.

The place is well-maintained with good service and tasty food, although it's worth noting that they only accept cash. In addition to bowling, the lounge also offers billiards for those looking for a different kind of entertainment.

With two distinct scenarios that promise high levels of difficulty, participants will find themselves fully engaged as they work together to solve puzzles and escape from captivating settings like the Prison.
À great place to have fun with friends or colleagues. There is two different scenarios and the level of difficulty is high enough to have challenge. We had so much fun that I would like to forgot how to solve the games so I can play again. I strongly recommend.

Did this last year. Was really really fun, and the people who worked there were great. Can’t wait to go back.
Mitchell C — Google review
Was a fun setting, though it was a bit hard to communicate with the escape room leaders (would have to switch to French to get their attention). Was not a fan of an actual Bible being written on for the sake of a clue, as I doubt they would have used any other sacred scriptures with such disrespect

It is a nice beach. It is clean, there are public toilets and change rooms. There is a volleyball court. The parking could be full quite rapidly.
Thomas J — Google review

Bagabo C — Google review
Very suitable for families with young children. The beach is under surveillance. Free parking. Toilettes/washrooms.
Ahmed H — Google review
Another family favorite, we found out about this place back in 2015. It has a lovely kids park, access to a small beach and even docking for those who wish to bring their watercraft. We have had pic-niks here, celebrated birthdays, and we have come after hours to let our dogs swim in the lake with us. Some of our most memorable family moments have been here. Staff are generally very respectful and kind, having only had one negative experience in 6 years! I chalk the latter up to miscommunication. It was resolved in the end. Otherwise, a must see place to visit especially if you are looking for a venue to have a family gathering.
Mario C — Google review
Very nice place to do paddleboarding. Can bring your own gas grill for a cook out, as well. Parking can be s bit tricky depending on the time and day

(Translated by Google) Very nice first experience. It looks a lot like bingo, so if you don't like it, I don't recommend it. It's very fast if you're not ajun... so, take it easy on consumption. The price per game is reasonable: between $2-4/card. There is bar service and slot machines in the same building.
