Tubbs Hill

Park
Hiking area
Tubbs Hill is a stunning 120-acre park located on the north shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene, offering picturesque views and native vegetation. The hill features a two-mile hiking trail that winds through the heavily wooded area, providing ever-changing views of the lake. Visitors can explore the coniferous forest, beautiful lookouts, and hidden spots around the lakeshore, including Tubbs Beach on the southwest side of the peninsula.
Beautiful spot for a walk as I was traveling through! Right by the lake, so people can swim, also by the cruise docks where you can take a 90 minute or so long cruise to learn about the lake, has picnic areas, nice side walk and walking trails, best park bathrooms I've ever used, pet friendly, and has food truck space. Someone had their pizza truck there when I went. Right by a resort, so you can stay there and walk to the park if you'd like. Very kid friendly, as they have a large playground area that is also fenced in to prevent kids from wandering away. By the lake, so you can swim, too! Must pay to park, though. $2/hr. (Unless you stay at the resort, they have their own valet parking).
Tami R — Google review
Great easy hike. Beautiful views. There is a little beach you can hike down to and go swimming so bring suits and a towel. Lots of people along the way so if you want more privacy go early. Definitely worth doing it!
Danielle H — Google review
Tubbs Hill was fun to hike. The views were amazing, and there were many critters wandering around, which added to the experience. I would recceomend family's to hike this trail as it is very easy and gets a good workout in for the day.
Megan E — Google review
Tubbs Hill has been a special place all my life. It’s the perfect place to swim, jump off the rocks, snorkel, boat, picnic or get engaged in my experience! Beautiful scenery! Lots of places to go off the path and go to the rocks for swimming. We have our favorite places/trees where we hammock too!
Destini A — Google review
Such a beautiful place for a walk. We were able to explore with my mom's walker too. Highly recommend exploring here if visiting the area. ♥️
Mariam G — Google review
Beautiful location on the Lake with plenty of trees and areas to hang out. There are trails and plenty of restaurants. You will also see a gorgeous marina with boats and a wonderful scenic view of the Lake. Great place for a family on a budget.
Philipp B — Google review
The one part of CDA that hasn’t been completed changed. The hike is easy and the views are great. Never a bad time and a must do if you’re visiting. It’s like a right of passage. You haven’t really seen Coeur d Alene if you haven’t hiked tubbs hill!

Such a cool quick hike with good views. If you got nothing better to do swing by here and check it out.

City park
Nestled in the heart of downtown Coeur d'Alene, McEuen Park is a vibrant lakeside oasis that offers something for everyone. Spanning over 22 acres, this park features an impressive array of facilities including the largest playground in the city, complete with a colorful splash pad and designated play areas for toddlers and older kids alike. Families can enjoy various activities such as digging in sandboxes, playing musical notes on oversized pipes, or whizzing down slides.
I was blessed and fortunate to visit beautiful McEuen Park nestled in the absolutely Gorgeous town of Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho. I Love the Fresh Mountain Air, the Pine Trees and Evergreen Trees, the Beautiful Mountains, the Many Hiking Trails and the Wilderness Atmosphere. I spent an afternoon Hiking and Ascending to the top off Mount Canfield and enjoyed the Stunning Views. I have to say that if you are Looking for Peace, Tranquility and Natures Wonders and Beauty than Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho is your Destination. It’s truly a Treasure and a Diamond in the Rough hidden in Northern Idaho! It’s truly God’s Country!

What an amazing park, hiking trails, beaches, boat launches, playgrounds and dog parks. There's something for everyone here. I find myself coming here again and again and spending hours. It's well kept, lush and green and an amazing contrast to the beautiful blue water and sky.
Paige P — Google review
Absolutely love this park! It's grown/changed so much over the years, so fun to bring kiddos to. Great play grounds, paths for walking or biking, and splash area is great. Highly recommend
Logan R — Google review
A perfect starting point for your Coeur d’Alene downtown walk, or for your kids to burn some serious energy at the well-equipped playground. McEuen Park connects directly to the Mudgy Moose Trail, and sits right at the heart of a downtown that feels very different from most cities - small, peaceful, scenic, and genuinely warm. The lake views are gorgeous, and even during busy seasons, it never feels overcrowded. People are out walking, jogging, biking, and just enjoying the vibe. Everyone we met was friendly. There’s a paid parking lot right next to the park, but locals know the trick - you can often park for free across the street. Just make sure to read the signs and respect time limits. Bonus tip: there’s an entrance to the public library right from inside the park. It’s a great place to cool off or take a break indoors if you’re walking the trail with kids or just want a quiet pause.

Great Clean Family Park! Nice over sized parking for the motorhome, and the truck & boat trailers
Pastor P — Google review
Nice park. Tons of parking around the area. By Tubbs Hill, the lake of course, boats and food places. Has younger kids play structures. Basketball hoops. Restrooms. Covered area. Lots of grass area for picnics, frisbee, catch or just laying in the sun reading. Kept up well. Paved perimeter to walk dogs. Although they aren't to be in the grass areas, dog parents don't seem to follow the rules... so watch your feet.
Jeri Y — Google review
Nice park in downtown CDA right on the lake. Tubbs Hill trailhead is here too.
Michael Z — Google review
Lovely park in the heart of Coeur d'Alene. Well managed and maintained by parks & recs. Checked out pickleball nets from city hall, which was a bonus for these road trippin' travelers. Paying for parking is a requirement but it's reasonable

Museum of North Idaho

Mentioned on

Museum
Library
Nestled near the picturesque lakeshore and adjacent to City Park, the Museum of North Idaho is a delightful destination for anyone looking to delve into the rich tapestry of local history. Established in 1968, this charming venue offers an array of permanent exhibits that highlight significant themes such as exploration, fur trading, railroads, steamboats, agriculture, logging, and the vibrant stories of Native American tribes and Scandinavian settlers.
Loving the new location and space! Wow! We have followed the museum from each space and wow, this one is stunning! We love learning about our north idaho history! Quick walk in any direction takes you to a beautiful spot downtown and right next to the park. Cute and affordable gift shop and great exhibits!
Caiti C — Google review
It’s cute! Small exhibit with lots of things to look at and signage to read, many antique objects. My children particularly liked seeing the wicks, fire, lookout, tower replica, and the map of all the past lookout stations and current lookout stations. I wish there would have been more to learn about the native people who lived on this land before colonialism ended their way of life. As a whole, it was a nice stop, and my kids found a couple of things in the gift shop to take home.
Esther L — Google review
It was alright. Not really worth walking 20 minutes to while pushing a stroller but oh well. I did read on their website they're planning to move facilities and expand so that's good. I didn't notice any info about that though in the museum.
Esther W — Google review
We took our visiting family along with an 88-year-old veteran. We were turned away at the door and told it is for "Members only". Their website and on the news all morning advertise their grand opening on the 17th. That is the day we went and we turned away rude abruptly. We will be sharing the story with everyone we know and never returning.
Cyn D — Google review
Great little museum. Nice history of the 3-county area of N. Idaho. Several exhibits downstairs about the history of the first nations, American expansion, and into contemporary history of the area. Of note: The WWII POW history in Farragut, the Circling Raven prophecy story, and the sordid history of organized labor and the assassination of a former Idaho governor (I didn't know that one!). $5 entry summer of 2025 as the upstairs ambulatory exhibit was not installed (normal entry is $6). Don't really care that it may not have been "worth" $5 (per one in my party), as this sort of thing needs to be preserved. Great little educational experience again in a historical home (moved to its present location). Really well done.
Craig R — Google review
Loved the new exhibit! Having an emmy and oscar to see was really cool, along with a hat from Bing Crosby, a true legend! So definitely check out their Hollywood of the North exhibit! Had the pleasure of meeting Britt Thurman, the director of the museum, whom you can tell truly has a passion for history and the museum! Can't wait to go back again once all the updates happen.
Kayleigh K — Google review
I wouldn’t recommend this museum. Came to Idaho from Illinois and wanted to visit this museum. Was here before 4 pm On a Tuesday to find it closed. No sign on the door or message on the website.
Pam L — Google review
I stopped by the museum to see the new Hollywood of the North and was pleasantly surprised. They have a Oscar and an Emmy from a local actress (not to mention her book) ive never seen one up close in person. The music is a nice touch, they are playing 1920s to go with the theme of the exhibit. It was great to meander and listen. It made the experience all around better. The prices are still very low so i had more money to spend in the gift shop. Bullet razor made by a local? Yes please. Sick pot holders from hayden? Yea..in my bag! Give it a whirl if you havent been this year.

Yesterday was amazing. This was the 1st time my niece and myself have ever done anything like this. We were in a group of ten and our guides Rachael and Dory were great. They explained the process and went over all the safety aspects of everything. They were fun and personable which helped ease the nerves. Can’t wait to come back and do this all over again. If you are on the fence of trying something new and exciting!!! Do it and fly like an eagle!!!🦅 *1st photo is our amazing trail guides lol

Wow! Wow! Wow! We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate our anniversary! We were surrounded by natural beauty and cared for by Heather and Rachel, our funny, gracious and knowledgeable guides! And the zip lining!? Incredible! Views for days and each zip line and bridge more exilarating than the next! I definitely recommend to anyone, no matter age or experience level! You are in awesome hands with Timberline Adventures!
Tammy L — Google review
What an adventure! The two guides we had (Heather and Dakota) were the best and made sure we had a blast and did it safely. Our group included a group of early 20's best friends who also made our trip fun. The zip lines, rope bridges and controlled rappel lines were soon fun, even for a 50 year old couple. If you're even thinking about possibly doing this, do it, you won't regret it!
J B — Google review
The most fun experience! We are local to Coeur d’Alene and have booked this adventure several times with family and we love bringing guests with us. The guides are SO MUCH fun and knowledgeable and really make you feel very safe. The most fun experience to conquer some fears and have a blast together!! Most definitely recommend to everybody; young, old, family, date night, etc!!
Amanda R — Google review
Great experience. I felt safe the entire time. The views are amazing and the zip lines are very fun . The best part was our guides Heather and Becca were top notch! My wife and a couple of others were very nervous but our guides took great care to make sure they were comfortable while at the same time giving tips to the more adventurous ones on how to get the most excitement out of the trip. Can't recommend those two enough very professional and fun !!!
Mark G — Google review
I booked our first zip lining experience with Timberline in August! My boyfriend and I went yesterday (Sept 6) for our first time and had such a blast! Our guides were Dakota and Gabe, they had our group laughing and feeling incredibly safe the whole time! The fun little ways they incorporate games while we’re watching others zip to the other side was an added bonus. For example, Dakota had us all think of fav restaurants and when we got to the other side, Gabe had to figure out the question. We watched how they were with the littlest of guests and calming her fears , it was very sweet. 🫶🏻 They were very thorough going over rules and safety too. Even with the smoke, the views were great! I even FaceTimed my mom when I zipped down line 6! The guides were having fun with her too saying hi lol A truly amazing adventure! 10/10 recommend 😎🙌🏻 my boyfriend and I will definitely be returning soon! Thank you Timberline Adventures for a great experience!

We had large family group. Holly was so kind and good to work with. We had children as young as 8 and up to 70. Everyone had a great time. We all felt very safe. The guides did such a good job. Thank you timberline for a great adventure.
Allison O — Google review
Our group had such a great time with Emily & Rachel! They really know how keep it safe while making it really fun for us; even the one lady who had a fear of heights. They made sure she felt safe. You can tell they really like being tour guides. I’m ready to go again today!

Great park in downtown, we took a boat cruise! Lasted 90 minutes. Weather was rainy and we still had a great time! Also shops nearby have a good selection of items for sale!

Coeur D'Alene Cellars is a small, family-owned winery in the inland northwest, dedicated to the art of winemaking. They produce a limited quantity of ultra-premium wines each year, ensuring that every bottle reflects finesse, balance, and character. Visitors can enjoy tastings of their award-winning Syrahs and Viogniers at the welcoming tasting room. The winery has earned a stellar reputation for its exceptional wines.
This place was quite lovely. There was a really nice patio and yes, it's dog friendly. The wine flight is a good price, especially if you buy a bottle. We had their goat cheese, dried fruit, nut drizzled with local honey app. It was delicious! I love that they self distribute. We will be back. What a treat!
Kimberly — Google review
Outstanding staff, and great wine! We had all three tasting flights, and I liked every one of them! I would personally recommend the Chardonnay and the Cab., those were my favorites. It is also worth noting that the tasting room is very cozy, and the art on the bottles are displayed on the walls (for sale). All around great experience!
Colin G — Google review
Lovely place. Sit on the terrace. Viognier was fantastic with artichoke spinach dip.

Stopped here for a glass of wine but ended up staying for a couple hours. Good selection and nice patio that is dog friendly. The winery manager was super friendly and helpful in choosing good wines

We found Coeur d'Alene cellars on Groupon while visiting lake Coeur d'Alene. We enjoyed a very good gourmet cheese plate as well as some wine sampling. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and the wines are amazing! It is located in an industrial park but yet the patio has a park like atmosphere very welcoming!

A fantastic option right in town for hosting your next event!
Brooke P — Google review
Fun spot in a commercial park but you wouldn't know it when you step inside. Did a tasting and they make some fantastic wines. we sat outside under the sun shades, enjoyed the gardens and the breeze. Our host brought us through several choices from sweet white to dry red. They bring the grapes from Washington and create their wines here. Highly recommend you visit if you enjoy wine and are in the area. They can ship to some states.
Trypp A — Google review
It's easy to have a magical outing at Coeur d’Alene Cellars. Today was no exception. It was a wine club pickup day, but still a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Got to taste some wonderful wines and listen to a phenomenal two piece band, the Renaldos. Don't pass up a chance to listen to Ron and Ray. The Oasis that is the patio are makes you forget you are dead in the middle of town. Kudos to Kimber and Dennis for their vision and work and product! Met some great new friends like Joe and Sharon. The CdA Cellars Confetti may be a new red favorite and of course on a hot summer day, the #6 White is just what the mixologost ordered.

Visited in August and had a fantastic experience. The weather was perfect—cool with a light breeze, making it comfortable to walk around and relax. The park felt very safe and was impressively clean. Lots of open green space, shade from the trees, and easy access to the lake. We also happened to catch the street fair nearby, which was a highlight—great energy, vendors, and food. A peaceful, well-maintained gem in the heart of CDA.

Farmers Markets
The Kootenai County Farmers' Market has been a staple in North Idaho since 1986, offering seasonal and locally-grown produce to the communities of Coeur d'Alene and Hayden. The market takes place on Saturday mornings in Hayden and Wednesday evenings from May through September at Sherman Ave. and Fifth Street in Coeur d'Alene.
We LOVE our local market! So many amazing vendors and a diverse group. We have been going for atleast 14 years and it gets better every year. Pies, local honey, veggies, meat, donuts, coffee, handmade toys, pottery, hair accessories, lavender, pickled goods, tons of food vendors with variety, bread, the list goes ON AND ON! PARKING can be tricky but lots of spread out space. Go slow and dont be a jerk you'll be good!
Caiti C — Google review
This farmers market has the worst parking situation ever. Very crowded and people are impatient. Lots of vendors. Only had like 3 food vendors and their lines were 10 plus people long. Friendly vendors. Just really poor logistics here. Definitely only go to this once a year or so.
Wendy — Google review
Probably one of best true farmers markets I have ever been too. Fresh produce, flowers, bakeries, artisans and no imported junk. Great food and fantastic atmosphere. And a Trucker stuck here for the weekend found it very relaxing.
Peter A — Google review
One of the best farmers markets I have been to and I love visiting farmers markets whenever I can during my travels. A great variety of shops from art, plants, food to live music. I had my brunch here and food was fantastic. Definitely lookout for the stall selling the Hawaiian drink (the one with tropical fruits and coconut milk) and barbecue! A must visit if you are in the area on a Saturday morning
Ruchika G — Google review
Man in gray beard who presented himself as some type of management was physically threatening and would not allow me to return directly to my vehicle after telling me to get out with my dog. I don’t have any issue with dogs not being allowed—saw no sign to that effect coming in, but fine—and my dog is a trained working dog, does not cause problems, but still, they can have any rules they want, that’s fine, I’m not here to break them. But physically blocking me from leaving the way I came and demanding that I walk out a specific route, like I am some criminal, was extremely hostile and frightening. Will never return, and caution others about their safety.
Sara J — Google review
A most amazing experience! I've been to lots of farmers markets and this is the best by far. I'm just sorry I don't live in the area. They have lots of vendors selling pottery, wood & iron carvings, veggies, honey, wine, flowers, vinegars, baked goods, live music & crafts for kids, cooked foods & more. All this in a beautiful natural setting. Parking was congested and busy but space was available even if you had to walk a bit. Totally worth seeing.

My favorite thing to do on Saturday mornings. Great local honey, vegetables, breads and crafts. Amazing farmer's market for clean eating and to support the local farms.

Great trails! Challenging but not too difficult and there's plenty of opportunities to explore little trails off the main one. Will be back to explore again!

Tubbs Hill is worth driving over from Spokane for a hike. Depending on which trail you take, there are different levels of terrain difficulty. It is a long trek around without a bathroom. Go before you start your hike.
Jessica M — Google review
Awesome place to start the hike on the east side. Parking in a lot and on the street. Can hike to the quiet beach or complete the loop around Tubbs Hill.
Norrad — Google review
Nice little hiking area. We covered most of the trails in an hour. They seem newly built and could probably use a few more switchbacks on the summit trails but it's definitely not a touch hike overall. The main loop is very easy. We parked in the east lot and had not trouble finding parking at 11am on Friday. Weekends are probably pretty busy though.
Jason W — Google review
Nice neighborhood family-friendly trail park. Great for hiking or running. The trails are well marked. Elevation gain to the summit is manageable and doable for really almost everyone! Some bird watching and lots of deer roaming in the park.
Winston D — Google review
Great place to go with kids dogs and kayaks!
Angel H — Google review
Nice little trail with views of the lake and some swim spots. Busy. Dog friendly. Parked on the opposite side of town so I didn't have to pay.
Patrick D — Google review
It was amazing, but I'm very tired. A few trails for everyone 😁, we chose the loop trail, the whole trail was up or down, but the views were fantastic. We took many photos, nature is beautiful. There were many small and large rocks, bridges, the trail led among conifers but sometimes you walked in the sun without a bit of shade 😁. It was worth it although I had the moment that I could not cope, I would not come 😳. I came, I overcome fatigue 😀

Cedars turned the date night with my wife into a priceless experience. Megan was our waitress and immediately became our friend!! I can't say enough about the entire crew!!!! Great salad bar and jalapeño mango spritzer!!! The Pesto Flatbread appizer is packed with flavors and could have been my meal. The Peppercorn New York Steak was hands down the best steak I have EVER eaten!!! The only negative I have is on myself for not going to Cedars sooner. We will be back soon!!!

Cool location for a dinner being able to sit on the lake. As always, the service for a Hagadone owned place was solid. I had the ribeye and my wife had the salmon. Wasn’t anything overly special but the desserts were pretty tasty.
Eric U — Google review
Great food and atmosphere. The gentle rocking motion just added to the experience. The food was really good. They have a nice salad bar or a soup option for your meal. Danny, our waiter, was a wonderful source of information on the dishes and was very attentive without being overburdening. Yes there's an early bird meal option but the full menu was available. The pace of the meal was just about perfect for us, we didn't feel rushed or feel like we were waiting a long time between courses. The steaks look great, the seafood was wonderful and dessert is decadent. I do recommend planning on spending 1-2 hours for the dining experience. Finally, I STRONGLY recommend a reservation to avoid waiting, as the restaurant does seem to get really busy as the day goes on. There's more I could say but go for yourself and enjoy.

Got the whole family to go out to eat. Very accommodating restaurant. We were a party of 7. We went early evening. Everyone loved the salad bar. Great waitress. Wonderful food. All around a great experience at such a beautiful restaurant

We got an amazing dinner and cocktails 🍹 overlooking the sunset . Staff was attentive and nice. If I had any suggestions for the business, it would be to upgrade their restrooms, so they can match the great venue and experience.

Definitely call ahead for reservations. The staff was very friendly and made our anniversary special. The restaurant itself was extremely clean and well lit. Excellent food with perfect portions, a little expensive but well worth it. I would highly recommend it for special occasions and day nights.

Wow wow, we went there yesterday night to finish off our vacation and let’s just say it was outstanding. Service was phenomenal. We ordered the calamari as a starter which was delicious. The salad bar was outstanding. As main we got the salmon which was delightful, the scallops which were delicious and the Halibut which was my favorite personally. As dessert we got the creme brulee. Everything was outstanding and the views are breathtaking. And the drinks are delicious as well. The only thing I can say is all the food was warm and not piping hot. I am someone who likes her food hot and all the plates we ordered were not hot they were warm. But aside from that, we will hopefully be back when we come back our next vacation.

Wow!! This was a wonderful birthday dinner! First off, our table included a happy birthday sign and confetti! Then we had an amazing hostest (shout out to Angelina) and our waiter, Danny, was so pleasant and helpful. This was our first time visiting so of course it took us a while to decide what to get and we had a few questions about the wine and salad bar. Danny was very patient, helpful and had a very friendly attitude. We had two amazing appetizers, followed by salad bar (well tended to, and so many options), and two phenomenal entrees! Highly recommend the filet mignon and lobster, it was incredible! The atmosphere at this restaurant was one of a kind, too. A floating restaurant, beautiful views, moody lighting, delicious food and exceptional service - It doesn't get much better than that! We WILL be coming back here in the future ❤️ I recommend a reservation.

We attended the Washington Wine month dinner with wine pairings, one of the best experiences we’ve had at a restaurant. Exceptional service, delicious food, and they accommodated my gluten allergy. After we sat at the bar and that was great as well. Highly recommend this restaurant/bar!

This place was over the top outstanding from the reservation arrangements to the seating to the cuisine. We had a large group and started with six people and ended up with about 26… The staff was extremely accommodating and we ended up being able to sit in pretty close proximity to each other. Heidi our hostess was fantastic and Matt, our server was very knowledgeable. I started with a French onion soup and if you’re a fan, this version will ruin you for any other. It was steaming and not too salty, which can often be the case with onion soup, smothered in cheese and absolute perfection. Then I ordered the fillet on the hot stone and the flaming presentation was fabulous. It was a melt in your mouth like butter experience and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is Gourmet all the way. Beautiful views along with top notch service . Largest wine selection Ive ever seen . In slower days you don’t need a reservation we had a great table upon walking in right over the lake. We had happy hour drinks and sliders that were the best we are here for a week visiting and will be back again to have diner.

Arrived for our anniversary dinner. First time at the restaurant for us both. My spouse had ordered a nice bottle of wine to be at the table when we arrived. It was no where to be seen. The poke appetizer had ZERO flavor. The salmon entree was decent. The salad I got was very dry with no dressing on it whatsoever however, the croutons were good. We ordered the dessert to go. Much to my surprise when I got home to eat it, 1/4 of the dessert was gone! Had they served me this in the restaurant, I’d surely have said something. Looks like they grabbed it off the bussing tray, slapped more raspberry on it and stuck it in the box. I’ve sent 2 emails/messages and have not gotten a response. Def won’t waste our money here again.

90’s luxury dining area with superb food and quality service. Recommend (if you are looking for a reasonably priced menu) get a 5:30 reservation and ask for their early dinner menu. 3 delicious courses for a VERY affordable price!

Won't be back and don't recommend you waste your time here. Atmosphere is 3/5 - only a 3 because you have the lake view, but the rest of the place needs a major facelift. Food 1/5 Service 2/5 Nothing what you expect when you're paying $50+ per entrée. Corkage fee is $75!!! Massive hair in our dessert - see photo. We were celebrating our anniversary, which I stated in the reservation made online - they tried to seat us in the worst seat in the house in the back, dark corner table by the kitchen with no water view. We then get seated a better table but still not great next to the som station. First round of cocktails took 10 min, my glass had water at the bottom from the ice cube melting while it waited at the bar for the server to pickup and pour the drink at the table - that’s how long she took to bring it. The house "signature" complimentary role had this gross sweet orange sauce on it - a sugar bomb before dinner, we took one bite and didn't touch it. We asked for the sourdough option and it was obviously not fresh, something straight out of a freezer is what it presented and tasted like but at least it wasn't a sugar bomb. The carpaccio appetizer was 2/5 stars, hardly any meat and too much mustard and onion. We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc for dinner and they brought massive pinot noir bowl glasses to drink it with. When we asked for white wine glasses we were presented with all the options available and surprise they don't have traditional white wine glasses - odd for how many bottles of wine they offer. The wedge salad had exactly 4 tiny pieces of bacon, maybe the same amount of chery tomatoes. Honestly one of the worst we've ever had. The lobster bisque soup was the worst we've ever had. No creaminess at all. We went with seafood since the waitress talked up the seafood special and the halibut dish. The special was fishy, no flavor at all, 1 out of 5 stars. The halibut was better but 3 stars at best. The Sage Advice cocktail was more simple syrup than it was gin. The french fries were good and so was the crème brulee. We will never be back and do not recommend anyone dine here - it is a tourist trap.

We went for a business dinner and were treated very well. Food came out perfectly timed between starters, main and dessert. The wine list is extensive and the Sommelier was amazing. The view is literally perfect for any occasion on any day of the week. We will be back. Cheers 🥩🍷

I can't say enough good things about this place. SO fresh, healthy, flavorful. The food is gorgeous. The people were all lovely and seemed genuinely passionate about their food. I would eat here daily if I lived in town. I had the watermelon & shrimp ceviche and the frijoles charros (bean with bacon soup).

Excellent place to eat. Owner is passionate and excited to have you eat here. Get here early for lunch as many of their gespachos, soups, and tamales can sell out quite quickly because they are so good. The cafe de olla (Mexican coffee) is particularly good.

We had a wonderful dinner tonight celebrating birthdays! The food was amazing, the dessert was absolutely delicious, and the view of the restaurant was just beautiful. Our server, Tabbitha, was so sweet and kind—she really made our night extra special. I ordered the Salmon Oscar, which was really good (I’m just not a big fan of sauce, but that’s just me). We went for my birthday and the food was wonderful, as always. We got their seasonal gooey (apple pie edition) and it had pie filling, crunchy bites, caramel, donut bites, vanilla & cinnamon ice cream. They gave me a complimentary little sundae for my birthday too. Their French dip was amazing! I am very particular with dips because I don’t want them to be soggy, and this one was A+. Highly recommend. I wanted to add: I’ve had their clam chowder many times and it’s phenomenal!!

Hubby and I were in town for Dr appointments. Decided to try out the restaurant part ( usually enjoy the 21 and up section) since it was cold and Rainey outside. Atmosphere was bright and clean , nice view of the lake. But to be honest if you don’t have kids with you I’d prefer outside sitting when the weather permits. Not because of the service just the noise level. Hubby and I were seated by a group of 10 with probably 5 kids and heaping serving of desert goodness! Obviously maybe why they were so noisy but not really the restaurants fault. Although I would suggest not sitting a couple by a group like that. We love ordering the calamari, steak endless buffet salad and blueberry cobbler was perfect on that rainy day! Service was great. Did not have to wait for water/ drink refills. If you are not staying at the hotel totally fine too. You can still valet your car for convenience. Will definitely come back !

The allure of this restaurant is definitely the location and the view. It would be nice if they had outdoor seating. The service was great other than not receiving our bread. We had plenty of food, but it looked like a good bread plate and would have been nice to try. The Caesar salad was good. The sirloin steak was pretty tough, definitely not worth the price paid. The asparagus was pretty good, not quite fully cooked, close, but not quite there. Mashed potatoes were good, hard to mess those up though. Brown sugar old fashioned was tasty. Overall it was a wonderful view as the sun set while eating our dinner.

Dockside Restaurant is an absolute gem! Everything was top-notch: the food was insanely delicious, and the presentation? A total feast for the eyes! I love when dishes look like art, and they nailed it here. The menu on tablets with pictures is genius — you see exactly what you’re getting, which is rare for restaurants and a huge win for me since I’m all about “eating with my eyes.” Our server (a guy, total rockstar!) was super professional, friendly, and made the night special. The vibe is cozy, stylish, with that gorgeous lake view — pure bliss! I’m already excited to come back and will recommend Dockside to everyone. You guys stole my heart! 😍

I’d have liked to give more stars as the food was decent and atmosphere and the view was excellent. However the server was not. She kept coming back every 10 minutes to check on us. While we were still having our lunch she asked if we want dessert and we said no. She then left us the check, while I still had the whole salad plate and half of my lunch to finish. After that she still kept coming back every 5 minutes to check on us (to push us to leave). Then we left. Wish I’d have asked her name so that I could put it here. I also wish I’d not give her the tip.

This place was even featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri in 2010 for its Wings and Things episode.
This was an excellent dining experience. Our waitress was super friendly and personable and took care of all of our needs. Most importantly, the quality of our food shocked us. It was so good! I came here with a group of 6 we had several apps which we loved including the Idaho Nachos(amazing waffle fries) and artichoke dip. Burgers were top tier, as were the sandwiches and pizzas that we got. They had a great selection of local beers. Highly recommend trying this spot. I will be back next time I visit the area.

I've been living here 2 years and am upset at lost time because I just had my first visit to a Capone's location. PREMIUM pizza, excellent service, clean environment. And the cheese cake. First off, loving the baseball motif. Brought back fond memories of talking baseball history with my dad. Great beer selection, and super cold taps. Excellent. So many great menu items. Great wings, great burgers, just all around delicious. Staff are all super friendly and efficient. It felt kinda like hanging out at a friend's house more than a restaurant. My only gripe is there aren't any Capone's locations closer to where I live. I will be back.

Went there for a business meeting where the client wanted lunch. It is very loud between the games on the TVs and other patrons. Not complaining just stating facts. The food was really good if a touch more than I wanted to spend. Again not their fault. Prices are stupid everywhere. Probably a great place to go for the game but less so for a business meeting. All in all. Pretty good.

Took my 15yo daughter for lunch, and it was DELICIOUS!! We shared the chicken quesadilla with a smoked onion dip (to die for) and the Thai chicken dish. The chicken on both dishes was super tender, and it made for great leftovers as well! The flavors were spot on, and the peanut sauce was excellent. We loved the cool cucumber, onion, and cilantro salad that came with the Thai dish paired really well. Our server, Lark, gave great recommendations and was very pleasant and welcoming. I love how fresh their ingredients are, and Lark informed me they make their own sauces and breads as well. We couldn't pass up the brownie sundae for dessert even though we were both full😉. We took half of both dishes home to enjoy for dinner. I'm looking forward to going back soon with my husband so he can experience it!

Unfortunately, my experience was average. I had the Locus Peach Cider which was really good, but really the only highlight. The garlic bread was generic and the chips in salsa tasted like a jar of grocery store salsa and general bag of chips. I don't feel it was worth the money

Ugh. I hate to post this review because it will get even busier, buuutt it’s so good, I have to share in the spirit of friendship. This restaurant is great. The food is fantastic. I got hooked on the Swimming Angel (the pic). I also loved the Lemon Vinaigrette salad. My husband had the Greek wrap (from their specials menu) and the pork tacos. Both outstanding and he has a big appetite. The servers are friendly and efficient. It’s bigger inside than you expect inside and even on a Sunday and Monday night, most tables are full. They’re open late too. If you’re in town, stop in. You won’t be disappointed.

Great atmosphere, and extremely fast service! Definitely stop here if you’re passing by. I split the mediterranean lamb burger and the curry chicken salad sandwich, along with the potato salad and the roasted corn pasta salad. The mediterranean lamb burger blew me away! The goat cheese added a unique tanginess to it that made it stand out. The curry chicken salad sandwich was a little underwhelming, the bread kinda took over the sandwich. Great food and an overall great experience.

Food was not good. Dry pasta salad, dry potato salad and lamb burger was gross. I spent 75$ on a meal for 2 and did not like it at all. The services were quick and I felt comfortable here but everything i ordered was not good. Don't come here to catch a bite. You'll be disappointed. Don't drink the ranch water. It tastes as it sounds.
Shaun M — Google review
The service was great. She visited the table multiple times to check on us. Ordering was easy, and they had all the items we ordered, including the tofu for the Kale salad. Everyone thought their meal was delicious. The salad was large enough for a second portion. There were available seats even on a Friday night at 6:30 and it was busy. On the negative side, they did blow the IPA I ordered, but that seems to always and I mean always happens to me, so much so that I ask the waitress if the keg was blown before I ordered it. She was worried about telling me it was blow because I called it. Lol. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich with potato salad. The chicken and merely slaw was good, but the bun was not hardy enough to eat the sandwich by hand. Still very tasty.

We were meeting a friend and had a party of 3. She was going to be delayed 45 minutes, and we decided to leave and come back later. The waiter was super appreciative of us not taking up space for that long as it was the dinner rush. Upon return, we had another waiter who was absolutely amazing and made our night a memorable experience. The peanut sauce was simply divine, and we will be back 😋 to have it again! The salad was a massive portion that my husband and I happily shared. It was not typical "pub" food. Our hamburger was perfectly cooked and tasted like the person who made it, really cared about the quality of their workmanship. The atmosphere was also fun and very upbeat as large groups flowed in and out around us. This is a unique and "old school" place to grab a delicious meal after spending time in beautiful Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Hudson's Hamburgers is a historic and popular spot known for its classic, no-frills burgers and laid-back ambiance. The establishment has been around for five generations since 1907 and is often hailed as one of the best burger joints in Idaho. Despite its simplicity, the place has garnered a loyal following and positive reviews. Customers praise the welcoming staff, prompt service, and mouthwatering burgers made with juicy, tender patties.
Reminds me of Louis' Lunch in New Haven: burgers cooked the way they've been doing it since 1907. Only toppings available are raw onions and pickles, and a few homemade sauces. Didn't try the pie. Good stuff!

A family owned hamber joint from 1907. Simple burger with wonderful hand cut pickles and onions. Love the old school feel great location for an afternoon of shopping and a $4 burger.
Cheryl L — Google review
"Simple, good and cheap." This is the winning combination at Hudson's and it's in their beef. It is all about their ground beef. $5 will get you a good burger. Still tasting the yumminess long after my burger was consumed and i am wanting more. This place only serves hamburgers and pies, that's all. Second time i attended here and there was some clowning by the employees, "are the John burgers done yet?" Some banter going on about my name and the burgers! "Almost sounds like a bad thing. Like a slur." I was just thinking, "oh please just give me my burgers". But they were otherwise really friendly and refilled my water multiple times and asked me how i thought of the food today, even before i had one (i ordered two). So maybe their comments wasn't intended to harm. Whatever. Interestingly enough, the chef is not wearing gloves?

0n Friday, July 19, 2024, my family and in-laws visited Hudson’s Hamburgers for the first time. It exceeded my expectations. We arrived right during the lunch hour and it was busy when we walked in. We managed to snag seats and put our order in. What you will notice right away is the prices. Cheeseburgers and hamburgers are both under $4. At first I didn’t know if I read that right and then my mind shifted to “What exactly are we going to be given with prices so low?” Well, I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. We ordered six cheeseburgers (my wife, two kids, in-laws, and myself) and they all came out looking like appealing, regular cheeseburgers. What wasn’t “regular” about them? The taste! These cheeseburgers were delicious, better than any other burger I had in a long time. I immediately called out the defining feature to my family: THE FRESHNESS. Honestly, for someone like myself who would have trouble truly defining what freshness tastes likes, eating a Hudson’s hamburger will convey to you immediately what freshness is. That’s pretty much all I can say. The service was helpful and pleasant. The simplicity of everything—the atmosphere, the menu, the ordering system—is done so well it makes it endearing. By the way, the six of us ate for under $30 and it was probably the favorite meal our in-laws had on their visit from South Carolina. Do yourself a favor and give Hudson’s a try.
Brent R — Google review
Been coming here with my grandfather since 1995! I've watched this place get passed down from generation to generation. Hudson hamburgers isn't the best cause they are the oldest, they are the oldest cause their the best!!! I would love to see them bring back some traditions from the old days about getting up when your done eating and having to order the right way. I still love this place to death. It meant the world to be able to bring my daughter here and continue the family tradition of eating the best hamburgers ever made.
William G — Google review
Cash only. Good old fashioned burgers. Bar seating only and we luckily snagged the last few seats available at the end. Only $4.20/burger, which is great because if you have teenage boys they can easily eat several of them in one sitting.
Heather P — Google review
Be aware: It is cash only, but they have an ATM in the back of the restaurant if you forget to pull some out beforehand. If you want the authentic, 100 year old burger, this is where to find it. Hudson’s must have opened before the advent of modern spice trade, because it was the blandest burger my husband or I had ever eaten. Price for quantity, this is a great deal. They don’t lie about a double cheese burger for $7. It’s a good deal, as long as you don’t mind it not tasting like anything. Even the pickles and onions added little to no flavor. The only saving grace in terms of taste may be the extra flavor from the blatant cross contamination. We watched the cook at the grill take a drink of his water, scoop a hunk of raw ground beef by hand onto the grill, then go chop some pickles for the next burger without washing once. Luckily we are not showing any signs of food-borne illness… yet. If you value a full stomach and quantity of food, Hudson’s is great. If you value quality, maybe choose a different place to eat.

The restaurant features a private dining room, brick oven, fully stocked bar, and an impressive wine collection. The menu includes Mediterranean-inspired cuisine such as steamed mussels, artisan pizzas, fresh pastas, and make-your-own-pizza options for kids.
🥘: 7.5/10. First time at Tito's and loved the garlic flatbread—crispy and bursting with flavor! The Alfredo pasta was creamy and rich, perfectly cooked. The mushroom ravioli was divine, with earthy filling and silky sauce. Exceptional service and cozy ambiance made it a great experience! Highly recommend! 🧑🏻‍🍳: 8/10: Great service! I like this place and the decor, flavors were good but there's a few that I would rate above it for Italian so only 3 stars Location is nice to eat and walk around and xheck out the shops. The prices were on the high side for what you get. Everything is extra. For example....You order Chicken Piccata, fine, but if you want pasta with that it's extra. You want some garlic bread with your meal, that's extra. You want to share a plate because you aren't super hungry and the prices are high...you guessed it, that's extra. I don't mind paying more when the flavors are off the hook but..... So anyway, staff was helpful and attentive, but probably won't go back.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. The staff treated me differently simply because I am Latino. While other customers received friendly service, I was ignored, not even a dessert was offered to purchase .. Discrimination has no place in any business, especially in a place that should make all guests feel comfortable and respected. Unfortunately, this restaurant failed completely in that regard. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values respectful and equal treatment.

Our server, Zackery provided excellent service and food recommendations (my husband had the Italian Meat pizza and he said it's the best wood-fired pizza he's ever had!) The crust was a little thicker (for wood-fired) and the sausage, sauce, pepperoni and cheese variety were the perfect flavorful combo! I had the Chicken Piccata and it was incredible! Loved the juicy chicken, tasty sauce and the mushrooms and tomatoes paired perfectly with capers... I highly recommend! We are looking forward to our next visit to CDA and a visit to Tito's will be top of list!

American restaurant
Meltz Extreme Grilled Cheese is a popular spot known for its specialty grilled cheese sandwiches. Despite being located in a gas station strip mall, the restaurant offers a relaxed vibe and great service. While it's a hit with kids, Meltz has also been recognized by USA Today and Thrillist for serving some of the best grilled cheese sandwiches in the nation. The menu features a wide variety of delicious sandwiches, and customers have raved about their inventive creations.
Fantastic food and great service! Meltz lives up to the hype — creative, flavorful grilled cheese sandwiches that really hit the spot. We tried the Huckleberry Heaven and The Pinker — both were absolutely delicious and unique in the best way. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

4.17.25: I'm a fan of grilled cheese sandwiches and wanted to try something new. They have a big menu with lots of tasty options. I'm still fasting on meat and so I went with the Briqueso that sounded loaded and amazing. All sandwiches are made to order too. Quick recap, the Briqueso has white cheddar, brie mousse, roasted artichoke, sweet red pepper, caramelized onion, garlicky spinach, and grilled zucchini. I ordered a full size and it was pretty big and came out steaming hot with cheese oozing out the sides. It was so tasty and all the veggie goodness melded together really well. It's worth noting they have really good fountain cream soda too. I also tried the chocolate chip cookie, which was a decent size. It wasn't too soft nor stale either. However, at $3.50 each, it's a bit pricey. The restaurant itself was nice inside, but it is kinda cramped. I get it, they're trying to utilize all the space they got. Service at the order counter was mediocre, but at least she wasn't rude. I'll be back again because I want to try a more traditional grilled cheese with just cheese.

Stopped by and had an amazing pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich "Porker". Friendly staff, fast food and to die for chips! The decor was rugged modern, and general atmosphere was great. During busy times seating could be an issue, but they have outdoor seating as well. Definitely recommend for those who love to indulge in rich good food!

Phenomenal stop, was advised of it by someone who lived nearby. We visited on a Sunday and were the first ones there. We ordered the Oinker and soup, both were great. My wife and I were able to split the sandwich and they even gave us two separate plates. The sandwich was delicious and service was top notch. Would definitely return if in the area or driving by. Don't let the fact it is attached to a gas station make you think it is anything buy amazing.

I saw a review of Meltz on a FaceBook post so I decided to give it a try. I absolutely L-O-V-E Reuben's and decided to try a half a sandwich and a chocolate cookie for dessert. One of the absolutely BEST Reuben's I have ever eaten! The pickled red onions and the sauce made the sandwich even better. So glad I only got the half because it was more than enough for one meal. The chocolate chip cookie was fantastic as well. 10 Thumbs Up for sure!

Great service, unique local vibe and so many uncommon combinations make this a fun gastronomic experience. We had the Caprese, Pepperosa and Briqueso. All there were universally enjoyed.

The food is good, and I love that they have a create your own sandwich and half sandwiches available! We did place an order for pickup at a specific time but got there early, our food was already done which was cool, but it was also obvious it had been sitting for a while. The food was still pretty good tasting though, so I guess that's what matters most!
Amelia — Google review
Went there twice so far, great friendly service both times. You can see them making the food on a legitimate cooking setup, it's not just some heated premade slop. Food tastes great, get the fries over the chips. Nothing there is bad, but the fries are very good.

Had dinner and drinks here while staying for the night, it was absolutely delicious. I had The Berkshire, it had spicy chipotle chicken, creamy pasta and perfectly cooked broccolini. My guy got a burger with sweet potato fries, it was amazing as well, he loved the pretzel bun. We sat at the bar, the bartenders were busy but still made time to make sure we were taken care of. All the staff was very friendly and attentive. Will be back!

We’ve been visiting beautiful Coeur d’Alene Idaho for the second time. Stopped into Crafted Tap House, + Kitchen for lunch and a beer. I ordered a burger with sweet potato fries, and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly cooked served on a butter toasted pretzel bun with all the fixings. Had a great IPA with it. The staff was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Second time I’ve been there, will definitely go again.

Great food. The Bah Mi (with Tri Tip), also called the Chuck Norris, is fantastic. My family enjoyed the pasta with Cajun chicken. Best part is an extensive beer selection and the service and knowledge by the bartender was impeccable.

Wow. No lie - probably the most flavorful tacos I have had in my entire life. No exaggeration. We just went for the food not the drinks- but went on a Friday night so it was a bit rowdy - people get really excited about the turtle races - it definitely was fun to watch. Food was fantastic - I would come back again and again if I was local.

Food was delicious. The location is stellar, near shopping and vendors down the street. They have beautiful outdoor seating space. The service was mid but maybe they were just too busy to try. Over all it was a nice experience.

We just had a party for 100 here last night for our son’s rehearsal dinner. We knew this would be the perfect place because we love incredible food and a fun atmosphere. The general manager, Junior, and his team made the night perfect. Chef Austin knocked it out out of the park with the food. He created special dishes just for us. I would highly recommend crafted for any event or just a lunch or dinner for two. Thank you Crafted!

We got the wedge salad and a #42 (burger). Both were fantastic. Will definitely come back while we are in town. Koby was great!

We grabbed dinner here on our final night in CdA and this was our favorite meal! We sat inside but the outside patio area was really nice, and had some shade. We started off with a cocktail, beer (boo no flights!), and split the giant pretzel. OMG do not sleep on that pretzel! I’d like a bit more beer cheese, but the red pepper syrup was delish too—the combo of each was incredible—sweet, or savory! I had the pork tacos and they were incredible. The peanut sauce combined with the pickles onions, aioli, cilantro, etc—just perfect. The corn tortillas didn’t fall apart either. Magic! My husband had the double patty burger and wasn’t disappointed. Loved the shoestring fries, too. Service was great, our server was very friendly.

Spokane International Airport

Airport
Spokane International Airport, serving Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho, showcases local art. The Spokane Transit Authority offers bus routes covering most of the metro area, with intercity buses connecting outlying communities to downtown Spokane. The airport's well-designed road system provides smooth access. A new terminal is being built to accommodate the growing demand for flights. Despite its 1960s design, the airport's proximity to Spokane and ample parking make it a favorite for many travelers.
This is one of the best airports I have ever been to. The remodel includes so many thoughtful design elements. It's beautiful, clean, and has lots of amenities. The nursing space is well thought out and spacious. There is a companion bathroom with an adult changing table, which is a feature I have not seen anywhere else - great inclusion! It feels more like a cool restaurant than a concourse. Security was quick and friendly.
Elle C — Google review
Security check was a breeze. Parking is easy. The airport is small enough to navigate. People are so much more courteous and polite over here as compared to Seattle Tacoma International Airport. Also, the restrooms are so much cleaner. The whole airport has a newish kind of feeling to it, and the seats are comfortable. I was quite impressed with the thoughtful features and the elegant lighting. There is a lot of public art.

If you are disabled or have weak upper body strength, you’re not going to like this airport. For its small size, you’d expect a more relaxed environment, which it has, BUT whoever designed the multiple levels and ultra steep ramps EVERYWHERE, this airport is a work out. You’ll get plenty of exercise keeping your suitcase from rolling downhill as you wait for TSA, and for the frequent travelers, don’t expect Clear. It doesn’t exist here.
Brian — Google review
Spokane’s airport is really convenient. It is small and completely walkable in just a few minutes. Even the rental cars are only a two or three minute walk from the terminals. There’s not a ton of services inside the terminals, but there’s enough.
Steve T — Google review
Overall I had a great experience. TSA was efficient, the food available was absurdly expensive for what you get but what do you expect from an airport? Chairs and waiting areas aren't fancy but they are passable. Bathrooms were a little dated and dirty but nothing to really complain about.
Ben W — Google review
Always an easy in and out of this s airport. Small enough that it's easy to get around in a timely manner. Lots of places for food and drinks, and souviners. Fast friendly service!
Catherine C — Google review
Small easy and simple airport to navigate. Great service. All of the employees are very nice. Have flown in and out of here a handful of times and never had any problems.

Great airport easy to navigate, smaller but, growing. Efficient friendly helpful staff!
