This place was so precious! Delicious food served on darling dishes! Very clean and fun atmosphere Loved everything about it from the bake goods to the coffee/tea and sweet service made me so happy! Wish we had one here in Alaska! Definitely will come back whenever I visit my daughter in Pullman…if you’ve not been you’re missing out! PS loved the darling spoons from Portugal 🫠

I absolutely love this spot. The staff are so welcoming and sweet. It is a nice cozy, calm spot that is aesthetically pleasing. Great hang out spot to sit and catch up with good company. Amani and Linda are both amazing workers and even more amazing people.

What a lovely little bakery in the most gorgeous town. The cakes are delicious, so fresh. Literally everything you get is the best quality. A special mention to Pam for her taking the time to explain a little about the shop and the town, as we were only there for the day. Exceptional... I hope to come back one day.
Rols Q — Google review
We tried the natas and the macaroons and they were amazing! I have never had either of them before so it was really a treat! I would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to get more! The packaging is soo cute too!!

Very delicious coffee and pastries! It's not artificially sweet like in many places. Everything served elegant , cafe has a nice pleasant vibe 🫶🏻

I found WOOPS by searching for "where do the locals like to eat in Coeur D'alene" as this city was near the half way point of a road trip to Montana and I thought my mom would like to eat here for lunch. It was every bit as wonderful as I anticipated and she loved it! We could not believe how cheap the prices were compared to our state, nearly half the cost! The environment was clean and beautiful with fresh cut flowers on the tables and desserts served on flower plates. Free lemon water was available. The pesto, cream cheese, arugula bagel was delicious, and I loved the berry beignet! We split a Bombolini with real custard filling. The quality of ingredients, taste, and texture would rival the best bakeries in my area. We even got to meet the owner and her friend who were so kind and generous to visit with us and share about the area. What a lovely business! We were so pleased that we stopped again for lunch on our way home and to pick up treats for our family. I purchased the genuine French macarons made with ganache instead of the commonly used buttercream frosting. They are the best macarons I've ever had. The kids especially liked the lavender honey flavor. Should I ever pass through Coeur D'alene again, I would definitely stop at this place.

This is the cutest find in CDA!! I recommend their Strawberry Lemonade on a hot day. It’s fresh, sweet and delicious! Although I didn’t try any food this time around, I look forward to coming back! Their bakery is full of clean and cute aesthetics. The workers were all really sweet when we visited. They were really kind and generous to let us use their shop in a photoshoot. As a photographer their kindness towards me using their shop in the photos was the highlight of my visit. Thank you to the entire team for the wonderful experience. Your smiles and attitudes were amazing, and I will definitely be coming back soon!!

Great place and location. Beautiful big windows to see the outdoors. Have some comfy couches to sit and enjoy your coffee ☕️ We ordered a coffee, hot chocolate and some pastries. We were not disappointed. They were all super delicious and tasty!

Imagine cozy, warming, smell of fresh pastries & bread with coffee. This is what this place is! An absolute gem. Mocha was perfectly balanced. Egg and Cheese was made to order and delicious! Cozy vibes is a huge plus!

Best sourdough pizza I've ever had !! They base was oil and spices and it was light and fresh with tons of flavor!! I love the atmosphere and the customer service was amazing! I loved the huckleberry cupcake too! Best in town to get food and treats 💓
Starsha B — Google review
This bakery is a winner every time! Their breads are delicious, baked goods have all been amazing. Special mention: snicker doodle cookies, extra sour sourdough & sticky buns. They make a really fantastic wet cappuccino with abundant strong foam. Arrive early, they've definitely been discovered since we first came here 6 years ago. Grab a bar seat at the windows to watch the park activity.
Deanna M — Google review
Awesome place to enjoy some food with friends. The coffee is not the best in town, but it's good. The food is very tasty, but can be pricey. Sometimes they have nice live music. And on a warm day, the outdoor seating is incredible. Good fun
Microgrooves — Google review
Only one dairy-free choice of bakery goods, bland paleo bread. But multiple choices of non-dairy milks. Sandwiches made to order, so got yummy no cheese chicken panini. Super friendly staff.
Sl H — Google review
Mocha was good, service fast and pleasant. It was busy. We parked at the library diagonal from the bakery/cafe, otherwise street parking. Bought some other baked goods, cake balls, macaroon, and a cookie. They were out of a couple of items we wanted. My sons liked the cake balls and macaroon. I had to ask for the cookie to be warmed, but it still didn’t seem to be warmed. It was close to the main area of town and had lots of seating including some outside. Lots pluses.

Great coffee, cranberry muffin and cinnamon rolls! Fast service and fair prices. They open at 7 am but were greeted and served 6:45am.

They absolutely killed it making our cupcakes for a pool player’s birthday. Crafted with plenty of flavor and a nice artistic touch. Flavor is 10/10 and prices were also reasonable.

We have ordered from Pastry and More on several occasions. We have always been thrilled with their quality products, service and consistency. Today was no exception! We were driving around the Coeur d’Alene Hayden area to different bakeries trying out a few different products for a bridal shower. Pastry and More won hands down. We had the most delicious Petit Fours which were beautifully decorated, moist, delicate and flavor second to none. We also tried their Orange Rolls…Indescribable I would say. Flaky, Tender, Melt in your mouth morsels from heaven bursting with citrus orange flavor.. Kate who helped us with our order was “over the top”. She was cheerful, so knowledgeable, Professional and willing to take the time to help us make the right choices for this special event. If I owned a business, I would want Kate to work for me. Thank you Kate & Pastry and More for a great day!
Cindy W — Google review
We picked up a beautiful wedding cake last weekend and the staff was so helpful. They had special notes about our nut allergies which we appreciate. Cake tasted amazing- definitely do the buttercream frosting. (Picture of it carefully on the floor board while we stressfully drove it clear to the silver valley 😅)

So we were given these by the owner in a long story short. They are amazing!!! She is also very friendly and loves her business! I would definitely recommend this pastry shop for regular visits and special occasions!!! Delicious!!!
Lauri P — Google review
They made ordering my birthday cake so simple. Communication was great and super transparent. My cake turned out AMAZING! It was just how I pictured it. I gave them my inspiration picture and they went above and beyond!
Tracy O — Google review
Stopped in for a quick sugar pickup while traveling and glad we did! Service was spectacular and the treats were tasty! What more could you ask for? We asked for recommendations and got several excellent choices. The artwork on some of the other cakes was really neat to see too!
BradandJen M — Google review
🫓We were super excited to try their goodies. Walked in. It was freezing physically and we were not greeted - cold that way too. ☕When we asked a question, got a chilly, curt response. Was kind of a weird experience. The other lady behind the counter was a bit reticent but kind. 🥮 So, ONLY because of her we ended up ordering some pastries and they were indeed good. The cake examples in the shop look amazing and unique.🍯 From many of the other reviews we may try them again. Wanted it to be a great experience. We will give them another chance. Will update if/when... 🥐customer service matters.

We were visiting CDA over my daughter’s 6th birthday. I found Pastry and More in my search for a bakery. We ordered chocolate (on chocolate cake) with sprinkles. I’m not much of a cake person but when we finally had the chance to dig in, I swear I became one! The cake itself was so moist and flavorful but the frosting was outstanding and the filling was amazing. These ladies know what they are doing!

Donut shop
Davis Donuts is a delectable donut shop that offers an array of mouthwatering treats. Recently discovered, this place has become a new sweet obsession due to its irresistible offerings. Their French crullers are unparalleled in taste, leaving you craving for more. The proprietors are extremely pleasant and the shop stays open late, making it convenient for those who prefer indulging in donuts later in the day.
This place is the REAL DEAL ! Great donuts and great service. Open late on weekends, too.
Richard B — Google review
I bought apple filled but ended up with cherry (I hate cherries) or I'd give 5*. Everything is tasty. So soft, fresh and early morning they're still warm!!! A must is the apple fritters if you like a soft exterior.
Melissa M — Google review
Love this establishment. I pick up donuts to share with Creekside Inn staff about once a month and they love them. The folks here have always have been friendly and they have lots of apple fritters! Their donut selections rotate seasonally and the quality has great. And they have muffins also but I primarily get donuts.
Henry M — Google review
Delicious donuts!!! Found them recently and they are my new sweet addiction. Their French crullers are the best I have ever had. Owners are very nice. Open late, which is super, I don't go to donut shops before noon when most close.
R K — Google review
Davis donuts is amazing. I wanted donuts instead of cake for my wedding, and davis donuts provided everything I needed. We were able to sit with the owner and taste test flavors and figure out what exactly we wanted. She was amazingly helpful and the donuts that day tasted amazing, and worked exactly how we wanted them to. I have been there a few times for just single donuts, and they never disappoint. I recommend highly for a single treat, or if you're looking to have an event done.
Rebecca H — Google review
I've had plenty of donuts in many different places, both domestically and internationally, so when I say I've had better than this place, that is not a negative reflection at all on a donut shop in a smaller town. Frankly, we quite liked the donuts here and would happily stop in again if in the area. The lady running the counter was also kind enough to point out that when we had ordered two each for our family of five (ten donuts for the mathematically challenged), we could choose two more for the same price.
James T — Google review
Davis donuts shop is one of the best donut shops in America. It's just a little piece of Americana when you walk in there and smell those donuts fresh and delicious. Takes me back to a simpler time. And the owner in the staff are genuinely nice people. Not to mention the quotes that they put on their reader board are legendary. Should be honest with you I actually have used some of those quotes to live by. Like hard work brings good luck was my favorite
Daniel C — Google review
Since December 1st 2014 they have been under new ownership. They expanded the hours and are open 5am-3pm everyday. The donuts are always fresh! And the baked goods are the best. They also serve great coffee and espresso. Staff is always friendly and informative.

I had a humorous experience at Back Pocket Bakery. I purchased a Margherita pizza and enjoyed it with a beer while waiting. However, I accidentally left the pizza in my car while running an errand. When I discovered it later, I ate the cooled-down pizza and found it to be amazing. This bakery also offers a variety of delicious breads, including options like sausage with white sauce and daily specials like pineapple pepperoni and jalapeno.
I had the opportunity to stop in the Back Pocket Bakery the other day and have lunch. Th bakery is located in downtown CDA. They offer pizzas,  sandwiches, salads and baked goods. We had the turkey sandwich special with the kale salad, which my wife really loved. If you haven't ever been into the Back Pocket Bakery, stop by and give it a taste.

First place I’m going back to if I’m ever in town again! WOW was everything we got delicious or what! Best avocado toast ever thanks to the incredible bread, tons of avocado, lemon, and other delicious toppings.
Chelsea D — Google review
Amazing pizza and delicious bread!! We got the vodka pizza and an upside down (the Detroit style pizza squares) and both were incredible! The sauce on both was so flavorful! Also got a HUGE piece of focaccia and giant soft pretzel for $5 each. Great value and absolutely worth the trip!!
Anusha G — Google review
Back Pocket Bakery is an absolute gem in Coeur d’Alene! The food here is nothing short of amazing—artisan sourdough bread that’s perfectly baked, pastries that are both creative and delicious (the lemon-blueberry scone is a must!), and wood-fired pizzas with crusts so good you’ll remember them long after. The service is just as impressive. Every visit feels welcoming and personal, and I have to give a huge shout-out to Skylar—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready with a great recommendation. Skylar’s positive attitude and genuine care make the whole experience even better. Yes, it gets busy (because it’s that good), but it’s worth every minute. If you’re in Coeur d’Alene and haven’t tried Back Pocket Bakery yet, you’re missing out!
Marvin N — Google review
I don’t eat a lot of bread but in May I purchased one of their Blonde sourdough loaves at the LL farmers market. It was too done and had burnt taste on edges. Their line is always so long. Today I went by and sampled another the taste is good and thought well let’s give them another try. Guess I should have taken the loaf out of the sack and examined because it was burnt even more than the last one. The edges are too hard and tastes burnt. Guess I will let others purchase and pass them by.
SuzieQ777 — Google review
Back Pocket is a super special place. Just magical. They've got a whole vibe going on, laid back atmosphere and awesome music. It's literally one of the coolest places in town. The staff are friendly and laid back as well. Their bread and pastries are delicious, BEST chocolate chip cookies. Plus the cinnamon rolls are freakin amazing. I love that they make it a priority to use non GMO flour and bake the bread sourdough style, without adding any oils. The city loaf (my favorite) contains butter, but that's not toxic like the seed oils and canola oils that are added to most commercial breads. Amazing drink selection as well. They have unique sodas, ciders, and even non alcoholic cider. They also make sandwiches and pizza. The birria grilled cheese was off the charts incredible. If you want to make sure you can bring home a specific loaf of bread, do call ahead to reserve it. There is always a line out the door every morning when they open at 10 am. And, no wonder! 10/10 - no other place like it.
Eleanor C — Google review
Went out with my sister and niece and wanted to give this place a try and it did not disappoint! It was SO GOOD! Especially on an empty stomach my sister and I shared (1) 12” pizza and it was the perfect amount. Staff were super friendly and gave their honest opinion. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to others! Cute little date or lunch spot.
Savanah C — Google review
Excellent baked goods, with creative twists on traditional pastries. As a bonus, the Wood-Fired pizza is outstanding, with fantastic toppings. The staff is friendly, and the prices are very fair. There are very few negatives about the bakery, except that parking is limited, and the ceilings are high, with difficult to reach places, leading to excessive dust and cobwebs. A counterpoint to the dust and cobwebs up in high areas is that the kitchen and baking areas themselves are clean and well organized.

They are ok cookies. Some were not cooked all the way through. Maybe because they are so thick. Too sweet in our opinion. There are different ones all the time so I'll have to check back. I have a gift card and the web page keeps saying "oh no" page not found so there's no way of checking the balance except to go into the store.

We went there were 0 customers 0. One girl came to get our order I had to repeat it twice then she walked away and another girl came to get are order agin I repeated 2 to her. I thought she got it but when she went to fill the order it took along time. All I ordered where two six packs of cookies and it took 30 minutes to get them and when she bought them over for us to check she still had it wrong took another 10 minutes to get two cookies change. If I hadn’t promise these cookies to a friend I would have walked out. They acted like they had no clue what I was ordering!!!! Never again!!!
Jamie G — Google review
Really great cookies, and very consistent!
Battlefield K — Google review
Came by at 930 pm, went to drive through and the 3 girls inside all purposely ignored me… so I parked walked inside, and ordered. She mentioned they were “getting ready to close” and that’s why the drive through wasn’t open anymore even though there was 30 minutes left. I understand wanting to leave work right when you close but all 3 of them weren’t engaging, it was obvious they were all ready to leave, weren’t interested in having small talk and just wanted me to leave so they could clean. Super disappointed by the service I received and lack of friendliness, especially as a local! Unfortunate.
Ky — Google review
Oh my goodness, you can't just choose one cookie. They are all amazing and delicious. You need to try all of them. They have different cookies everyday. The cookies that are always the same are the chocolate chip and the sugar cookie with pink frosting. The texture is perfect and thick. You feel like you actually have a good bite everytime. You won't want to share. Simple to order. They have computers to quickly order on and then they just call your name when it's boxed up. Drive thru available at this location as well. Those who work there are super helpful and friendly. Quick and easy to get what you want. But hopefully they don't sell it to fast for the one you want. It's a busy place. Check them out
