Bunaken National Marine Park

National park
Nature & Parks
Bunaken National Marine Park is a vast and stunning park set in a tropical paradise, boasting an abundance of coral and marine life. The crystal-clear waters of the park are home to nearly 400 species of coral, making it one of the most vibrant diving spots globally.
If you're a backpacker, Bunaken village is the place. Countless homestays behind the main gate, just walk inside and you'll find what you looking for. Local vendors selling souvenirs and food stalls offering basic local food. The area is pretty clean. Overall, it was ok. If you're a diver like me, you'll fall in love with Bunaken underwater. Turtle everywhere - giants one!! Bunaken offers wall dive but if you're looking for macro, then Lembeh is the place to go. Have fun!

The coral reef wasn’t the same as they said/pictures, i hope the government take an action to restore the coral.
Abi — Google review
Amazing place for diving and snorkeling. Truly feels like Paradise Biodiversity is superb and it is just beyond beautiful
Alfred S — Google review
Beautiful and peaceful however it needs major clean and tidy up on the Island
Sunari D — Google review
Beautiful island. The food stands are right in the beachfront so you don't have to worry about the meals stock. Some area on the island are prohibited to visit because it's the part of some resort, but the rest of the island are for you to explore!
Tyan Y — Google review
Wonderful! The last time i go here, it feels different, it so quite and not so many activity to do. But my last visit (2/1/18) this place give me a big surprise. It is beyond expextation, the view is clear blue, coral reef near the cost of Bunaken Island, the colourful fishes, the locals culture and the traditional foods are all verry lovely. If you love traveling, Bunaken is one of the most recommended place for you!
Alfiano F — Google review
Great view, in this national park there are some islands that have womderfull beach with the white sands and clear seawater. Also amazing under sea scenery with many fishes and coral reefs spreads wide.
Hani A — Google review
a beautiful place to go snorkeling if you don't mind other people, just keep the beach and the reefs clean, so don't leave any trash, or even collect a bit of the trash and give it to your captain to help clean the reefs and preserve the local diversity. You can even see turtles while snorkeling there. If you have an underwater camera, definitely bring one! attached are some of the wonderful views I had! It's definitely worth a stay

Bunaken is a small island located north of Manado, the capital of North Sulawesi. It is renowned for its tranquil waters and diverse coral and sea life, making it a popular destination for snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiasts. The Bunaken Marine Park encompasses several Indonesian islands, including Siladen Island and Manadotua Island. Please keep your greedy hands away from ruining Bunaken! Bunaken is a truly amazing place, and I’m proud to tell the world that there’s no better place to dive than Bunaken!
Syeny R — Google review
The beach is now cleaner than before (thank God). This is a great place for snorkeling or diving. Must bring your tourists friends at least once here.
Keziah T — Google review
great tourism destination for snorkeling and diving, friendly locals, and good souvenirs. but unfortunally, many garbages on surface and coast that lose the beauty, and locals show less local culture to the tourist
Janitra Y — Google review
Wow, just Wow. For divers and snorkelers this is a true Paradise. Biodiversity at its best and everything here just feels peaceful.
Alfred S — Google review
The dark side of Bunaken. Also mant plastics floating on the sea.
Ricard S — Google review
Diving Bunaken is a mixed bag. You can get there in a day and have many resorts to choose from, but the reefs are showing some ill health and the beaches are littered. The walls on east side of the islands inner bay were my fave sites. If you like turtles this is your place, but not much other big stuff. Some schools, nice corals, and interesting wall topography.
Bill H — Google review
Amazing experience to dive and snorkel in Bunaken. Bunaken’s underwater is crystal clear so please dear tourists, do not litter our ocean.
Ria — Google review
An underwater paradise, if you are scuba lover this gonna be right place for you, price are affordable, locals was friendly, foods are cheap, its also easy to go there. I'll edit my post next time with more underwater footage

Good view. Hot during the day. Best at late afternoon. Beautiful view of manado tua, bunaken, and manado

Public space area along the coastline. You can find many food vendors here with quite good atmosphere. There was many public facility like playground, event mini gym, spacy pedestrian, and many bench for you who wants chill here. Surprisingly, this place considered as clean and neat public space, not like common public space I've ever met in the other place in Indonesia. Big appreciate for local government and local resident to keep their neighborhood clean, neat, and comfort for public use.
Aryansah P — Google review
For those who want to enjoy the crowd of manado. Come and have a visit, but make sure to came at afternoon or at morning time. So you don't get some sunburn. The place quite nice, it just need a little bit crowd control for the local shops. Cheers 😋

Accessible within a 45-minute boat trip from Manado, Siladen Island is perfect for those seeking tranquility and beautiful white sandy beaches.
Siladen Island is a part of Bunaken National Park, it takes 15-20 minutes with boat from East Bunaken Island and along the way to here, you will see dolphins swim around you. Siladen also well-known as the best snorkeling/diving spot around here.
Glorio M — Google review
Not sure what we were suppose to do there. We took the 3 islands tour package, and one of the islands was this one. Honestly we didnt do anything here.. maybe the right tour guide would bring us around? Really not sure at all.
Keziah T — Google review
Siladen Island is one of the five islands in Bunaken National Park, North Sulawesi. It can be reached in 45 minutes by boat from Manado. Siladen Island is not as popular as Bunaken Island. It will be a perfect place for those who want a "me time" while enjoying the beautiful white sandy beach.
Eddy W — Google review
Small island near Bunaken. We rented small boat to go there. Nothing’s special to be honest. The beach is so so, the corals are beautiful for snorkeling, but lots of small trash & seaweed in the surface. It’s quiet, maybe nice if you want to have me time.
Laura V — Google review
This hidden paradise that cannot be missed requires a boat trip with a travel time of 45 minutes from the city. Siladen Island is famous for its white sand beaches, clear blue waters, and has two of the most interesting dive spots named Siladen 1 and Siladen 2.
Kawanooa S — Google review
Heavenly Hospitality here at Siladen, almost like you are the only one there. Beautiful beaches and boasting a surreal sunset, but once you feel the Celebes Sea soothing your skin, you know that it is now. We asked the Souvenir Shop if lunch was available, even though we were not guests, but welcomed to a wonderful buffet lunch at a very good price, including drinks and dessert We just visited Siladen for a day trip from Manado, but next time we go to Siladen, we will stay at the Resort here for sure. June is the best time to come here and very clear sky, i thought i could see my homeland Philippines to the north, so many islands of North Sulawesi, terima kasih salamat 😁.
Joan M — Google review
Been living here for almost 2yrs.. gotta admit the reefs are the most beatiful I've ever seen... the island is small. For tourist/snorkel please dont harm the reefs by touching/stand on it..

My son and his family live halfway up this mountain. The walk to the top is a really good workout. There's a paragliding company at the top as well. Beautiful scenery and some amazing birds if you're lucky.

This is the best spot to have the view of sunset and sunrise near Manado city. From the top of the hill, we can have the view of Manado city and the islands near Manado, the view of mount Klabat, the view of mount Empung and Lokon, etc. Tumpa hill also is a historical place of Bantiks tribe who live in Manado.

The island, which is about 16 kilometers from the city of Manado, is one of the islands that must be visited by tourists who enjoy the beauty of nature. Different but not the same as the Derawan East Kalimantan beach, the beach on Manado Tua island can be reached by traveling around 60 minutes by motor boat. The island which has a volcano and many shady trees has spectacular underwater panoramas, no less than Bunaken and Siladen Island. Manado Tua Island has also been one of the locations of the World Ocean Conference in 2009, making the surrounding residents care for and maintain the cleanliness of this island.

love this place, because I have so much memories of this place. even tho it's not the same as 10 year ago, but on the bright side this mall has been a lot of improvement and good prices too! so recommend to come here!

✔I ordered some stuff like make up storage, spoon and etc. ✔The atmosphere was nice and comfy. Nice place to buy some cute things💕 ✔The service pretty good, they serve with kind and quick. Sometimes there's cashback if you paid with ovo. Everything was good👍
Shieby U — Google review
Mantos 1 is the first and original part of the Mantos mall trio. It might look a bit old from the outside, but inside it's actually quite modern and up to date. With 2 floors, it has plenty of restaurants, an arcade, a shopping center, and a wide variety of stores. It’s also the only one with the most gadget shops, mostly selling phones, which makes it great if you're looking for tech stuff. The temperature isn’t as cold as Mantos 2 or 3, maybe because of the crowd or the AC, but it’s still comfortable. The central area is spacious and often used for events, giving it a lively and active atmosphere.
Fiedy — Google review
One of the best shopping center in Manado. Cozy and tidy atmosphere and also many different coiches of stores. Strategic location(downtown manado).
Randhi N — Google review
I guess this is the largest mall in Manado situated next to the sea... view of the sea is very nice... Despite being the largest mall, it's bout 2-3 storey high only... Most of the branded establishment are here... The mall has sky painted at the ceiling...
Vincent W — Google review
Overall a nice mall to kill time with brand name shops (but a bit expensive). In the newer wing, on the 3rd floor, there are many restaurant options. It's important to have plentiful seating, especially for older individuals who may need to stop and rest frequently.
Miss L — Google review
Popular place to hang out in Manado with various shops, restaurants, cinemas, cafes, banks, and amusement centers. I like to bring my handicapped mother here because the main lobby is easy to be accessed with wheelchair. It also has a travelator which is very helpful for wheelchaired visitors. The toilets are relatively clean and can be used by handicapped persons. However, last year I complained the manager about the behaviour of the mall's security officer. When I was trying to park my car near the lobby's curb, he impolitely told me to move my car to avoid touching the curb. I explained him that I have to park my car as close as possible to the curb because I have to lift my handicapped mother out of the car to her wheelchair. But, he still defend his opinion to guard the spotlessness of the curb without even care to assist me moving my mother to the wheelchair. I think Mantos must train their security officers to give more empathy to the handicapped visitors as part of a more decent culture.
Arthur M — Google review
Nice place for shopping, eat Your security parkir was terrible and disgusting I didn’t came to mantos for steal or ask your money.teach your security manner especially near beach mantos 1.the big one without uniform.I didn’t knew exactly who he is,security parking or parking staff.later i knew him security when i exit through from mantos 1 to motorcycle parking area

Ban Hing Kiong Temple in Manado is a remarkable Buddhist temple and one of the oldest in the city. It's notable for being one of four Buddhist temples within a single square kilometer, which is quite unusual in this predominantly Christian area of Indonesia. The temple offers a serene space for meditation and prayer, with the scent of incense lingering in the air.

Wayan T — Google review
Temple with Unique Stories This Temple notably known as oldest temple at Manado and several strange yet true miracle story (mostly about survive from incidentally destruction either by war or fire). Officially positioned as Buddhist Monastery, but in reality more focusing to Tridharma (there are tri nabi in the temple) or lesser common considered following Taoist. Very very confusing. Note that Tridharma presence in Manado pertained very strong although considered by both public and government as Buddhist and never see it as different religion but related to Buddhist. (Probably) Following local culture, the building consisted by three floor building. No lift and the stairs are quite steep, making a huge challenging for elders. Due to the location near Pasar 45 and small size road, traffic jam often occurred and become challenge to visit Klenteng. Parking car quite hard due to road size, especially larger car.
Handi S — Google review
A must visit place especially when there is a Lantern Festival celebration or Cap Go Meh. There will be many beautiful lanterns adorning the temple and roads near the temple.

Bunaken Marine Park

Mentioned on

National reserve
Bunaken Marine Park is a renowned marine tourism destination in North Sulawesi, encompassing three archipelagic districts at the northern tip of Sulawesi. The park offers impressive diving opportunities with prolific marine life and some of the best diving spots in the world. It's suitable for beginners due to shallow coral reefs and weak currents, boasting exceptional visibility. However, there are concerns about plastic pollution and damage to coral reefs caused by irresponsible tourist activities.
Worth to visit, coral is so nice. I really live to snorkling here. Only 1 snorkling site, better bring your own snorkling gear, rental fee 150k, ticket for foreigner 150k, lunch 150k.
FAHOKA ( — Google review
Great visibility, saw lots and lots of sea turtles; and then there were a few unicornfish, some eels, triggerfish, puffer fish, cornetfish, trumpetfish, sting rays, porcupinefish, lionfish, scorpionfish, snapper, mackerel, tuna, squid, sea slugs, one giant clam, hermit crabs, orangutan crab, anemone shrimps, decorator crab, mantis shrimps, lobsters…
Jessie Z — Google review
Lovely snorkeling place with crystal clear waters and coral reefs
Indi W — Google review
It was a Golden Experience. The Sea, The Sky, and Me. A legendary spot for divers and also marine biologists. Countless creatures from fish to sea turtles. Gonna need to go back here with friends, and bring the joy to the sea.
Java M — Google review
Bunaken Marine Park has become a place full of plastic. Everywhere you find plastic objects squished at random. But above this is the fact that the corals around the islands have started to be destroyed. Out of the desire to earn, the locals don't take anything into account and enter the coral reefs with motorboats, to please so-called tourists who pay to be taken to places where the best photos for friends come out, without also take into account the protection of nature. At this rate, the marine park will be in name only. Anyway, if you don't dive, you have nothing to do on the island.

Halal restaurant
Raja Sate BBQ & Asian Restaurant offers a laid-back atmosphere with communal seating, serving up traditional Indonesian dishes such as satay and seafood. The restaurant's specialty lies in its various satay options, featuring chicken, beef, shrimp, crab, and more, all seasoned with authentic Manado spices. The tantalizing aroma of the grilled meats wafts through the air, catching the attention of passersby.
Best sate in town. I ate here twice when I was in Manado. They also have snails in the menu. You can just walk from here to Manado town center, so it's a good place to eat and drink beer after malling.
Esobel J — Google review
this place looks good outside, but inside it has an old vibe. the place is quite empty. the waitress seems clueless about the food, and its availability. she doesn't know much about the menu every time we ask her. many menus are indeed unavailable. it takes a while for the food to be ready. we need to keep asking the waitress. the restaurant name might suggest this is a satay joint, but they sell fish satay only. they also have other dishes like fish woku which is fish cooked in yellow soup, stir fried kangkong, and stir fried eggplant. the fish woku is good but the fish has too many bones, and less meat. the fish satay is better. other than that, the food is okay.
Bramanto W — Google review
The beef BBQ was the best. Chicken sate not as good I would recommend skipping it. Service super fast. The peanut sauce and hot chilli sauce are both very good. Place is very clean. I guess if you come when super busy the situation is different, but you would be stupid to expect same service when place is full of clients as it is a very large restaurant. Service 5 stars. Very friendly and super fast with a smile.
Majed T — Google review
First of all, this place located in the main street of Manado Boulevard. You can access it with public transportation so easily. Inside you'll find rustic/vintage decoration with wooden panel which make it feel cozy and warmth. My only complain is the Air Conditioning. I was eating lunch and it was freaking hot in there. Now for the menu; you'll find vast selection of food and beverage there. From traditional style cuisine to western cuisine, from meat and fish to seafood like prawn and squid. They are also serve a package for 2 or more people with few protein in the menu. I tried their Satay Ayam/Chicken Skewers with peanut sauce and wow, they have the best satay ayam so far compared to the other restaurant I went so far. Price range is vary from Rp. 20000+ to Rp. 90.000+ per menu.
Johannes — Google review
Amazing Chicken and fish satay!! You can grill the Chicken to your likings, fish satay was surprisingly juicy. You can order grilled fresh water baby lobsters. Will come again.
Yulong W — Google review
Food is considered just average comparing to the Indonesia standards. Staff could speak a little English. Air conditioned area is not cool enough whereas the non air conditioned area is a heat trap. It's really cooler outside the restaurant. The sate we were given already cooked till burnt but turned cold and although served on a little hand carried bbq tray, the fire was not lit. The chicken fried rice is decently good. Seafood sate is not worth trying.
Wai Y — Google review
Awesome place!!! Try their sate combo. And when you order a soup (I had the asparagus crab corn soup) they literally bring you a huge bowl and you take as much as you can. Prices are ok, you can of course get cheaper satay in the streets but theirs is super good too and their menu is humongous!! Try as many things as you can. I would definitely recommend this place. They have a separate air conditioned room too.

Just like the name, so order the skewer/ sate ! So yummy & tasty ! The other menu is average, you can get in any other chinese resto

Food and service were below average. There was no any live fish. Had a frozen grouper, which was just okay at best. The place is very outdated. The only positive that we can say about this restaurant is a nice sea view. Not recommended!

At Lembeh Resort, we had eaten all the Indonesian and Continental cuisine, so we decided to change things up and try Chinese food. The seasoning is strong, but the greasiness is light. The portions are large and delicious. As the sun went down, the large store was packed with people. There was also a party attended by relatives. It's reasonable and there's nothing to say!

One of the best kosher Chinese food / seafood I've eaten so far. The portion, as well as the seafood in the dish, were very generous. We, 3 people, spent less than 300k for 4 dishes, rice and ice tea. We still have plenty leftovers that we brought back home. Maybe next time we'll splurge and try the lobster 😁

First off, the location is awesome, right by the sea with covered outdoor tables and also indoor tables. Nice sea breeze when you have the outdoor table. The dish we had were: 1. Grilled grouper fish, super fresh that the meat texture was similar to crabmeat. First class grouper! 2. Ikan kuah asam (tangy clear soup with grouper), again, absolutely fresh fish. The soup is nice and light, the was it's supposed to be. 3. Grilled squid, fresh, simple, unassuming, and delicious when combined with the spicy sauce with sliced spices. 4. Fried chicken. Ok you may be wondering why the hell we ordered fried chicken in a seafood restaurant and honestly you would be right. You should NOT be ordering this because it was too dry and overcooked. We ordered this for the little kids who only wanted to eat fried chicken. Otherwise stay away from this. Fried chicken isn't their specialty and it showed. Of note, they will also let you call ahead to order your food so you can eat soon after you arrive (otherwise the wait can be long, they freshly kill some of the seafood after ordering) The price is slightly high on first glance but it's really not expensive considering the seafood quality and location. Definitely would recommend.

Tuna House Mega Mas

Mentioned on
1 list
$$$$affordable
Seafood restaurant
Tuna House Mega Mas is a delightful dining destination that has gained popularity for its extensive tuna menu, which makes up about 80% of the offerings. Nestled by the beach, this restaurant provides a serene atmosphere where you can savor your meal while soaking in breathtaking ocean views. It's an ideal spot for family gatherings or outings with friends. The menu features a variety of tuna dishes alongside shrimp and chicken options, as well as an assortment of fried rice selections.
We had a great experience at Tuna House and tried several dishes, but the highlights were definitely the Cumi Goreng (fried squid), Juice Sirsak (soursop juice), and Gohu Tuna—which was like a fresh, flavorful ceviche. - The Cumi Goreng Tepung (crispy fried squid) was perfectly cooked, light, and crispy without being greasy. - The Gohu Tuna was a standout—fresh, tangy, and packed with citrus and spice, making it a must-try for anyone who enjoys ceviche-style dishes. - The purple soursop juice was refreshing, naturally sweet, and the perfect way to cool down. The grilled tuna and crispy enoki mushrooms were also delicious. The service was friendly, and the seafood tasted fresh. Prices were reasonable for the quality. The only downside was that we decided to sit inside, and it was very noisy and echoey, with lots of chatter and loud conversations. If you're sensitive to noise, you might prefer to sit outside if possible—though the indoor seating does have air conditioning, which was a nice bonus. Overall, highly recommend for seafood lovers visiting the area! Would definitely come back!

as the name might suggest, this restaurant mainly sells tuna dishes. they also sell prawns, chicken, and vegetable dishes. they have many options for drinks like tea, juice, and others. the tuna dishes are indeed good. they have tuna sashimi, tuna jaw, and tuna steak. personally, i like the tuna steak because it's full of meat, and way less bones compared to the tuna jaw. the meat is tender and juicy. it's a fresh tuna. the part that i don't like too much is the service. we have to wait for a while to get the food ready. the staff is also lacking in coordination. we need to keep asking them for the rice because it's not coming yet, even once the dishes are served.

Great tuna restaurant! They grill the tuna perfectly, while offering wide range of other tuna-based menu, such as tuna gohu (amazing!), bumbu rw and more! Not too expensive and you’re gonna get satisfied with the portion and flavors!

Delicious grilled tuna, fried enoki, fried shrimp and squid was fantastic also, would recommend any fried dish!

We loved it! We spent three days in Manado and ended up coming to this restaurant twice. The food is absolutely delicious — we especially recommend the tuna steak, the fried calamari, and the sashimi. Just a tip: if you’re not used to spicy food (like us, we’re from Spain), ask for the chili sauce on the side. The place also has beautiful decor and amazing sea views. We 100% recommend it!

Quite often coming to this place, but tonight experienced is delivered different one which is suggested that some improvement is required for better services i.e Casava steam quality, and also the quantity of sambal rica (*Casava when it is too hard and not smooth to be eaten) it is better not delivered to customers, really less given sambal rica as bad as it is, thank you

The seafood at Raja Oci Restaurant is of high quality, with fresh and properly cooked fish. However, the vegetables tend to be on the saltier side. To balance out the meal, it is recommended to have some rice alongside it. The food itself is good, but the size of the air-conditioned room could be larger for a more comfortable dining experience.
What a fantastic food. First time we had tuna jaw and loooved this super tender and juicy part. It's not common to get usually, so this is a very special one. Also the tuna breast was fantastic and the corn fritters are a fantastic appetizer. Everything is grilled freshly and to perfection. It comes with a green tomato salsa and a yummy sambal as well. Friendly and attentive, very helpful staff. We will be back when we are back in Manado.

The highlights are the Tuna Bakar and the Pergedel jagung. Very fresh and very tasty. The stir fried vege had an unfamiliar strong taste that we couldn't finish it. Sambal is as spicy as it gets, and it's only for those with strong stomach! Overall, this restaurant is well recommended for Manado food.

One of the og seafood restaurant in Manado. Located at the heart of city, the building is kinda old compared to another branch. Grilled Bobara fish is bomb, it taste savory even with basic spices. Cumi Woku tastes good and the portion is big enough for 4 people. And Kangkung cah bunga pepaya complete the dish perfectly. The price is up above average yet worth with the taste of the dishes. Too bad the service is not friendly as I expected if it comes to local restaurant, and i need to wait a little longer to get my order. But after all the food that served are good. If i need to visit Raja Oci again, probably i’ll try another branch that more “luxury” than the og restaurant.

The food is really delicious, and the seasoning is flavorful. I recommend the grilled Oci, the sambal is spicy and tangy. We ordered two servings of stir-fried water spinach, but one was too salty, so we couldn’t finish it. Overall, I’d rate it 8.5/10.

Serves Manado cuisine (oci, tuna, goropa, shrimp, bobara, squid). Various ice (fruit ice, brenebon ice, peanut ice, etc). The highlight is grilled tuna jaw-juicy and tasty, perkedel nike (small fish), corn fritters, and grilled oci.

One of the famous restaurant in Manado. I ordered tuna jaw and other shared food like squid with woku sauce, grilled grouper, prawn with butter sauce, and many more. The atmosphere was ok, but little bit disturbing when some street musicians can came inside the restaurant. I recommend this place for lunch instead of dinner, because the rice portion was above average. The taste also good and clean. Recommended seafood restaurant. Will come again sometimes.

RM Green Garden Manado is a popular restaurant located on Jalan Sam Ratulangi Nomor 170, Titiwungen. It opens from 09:00 to 21:00 WITA and offers a variety of Chinese food along with other menu options. The restaurant is known for its large portions available for takeout and pleasant sit-down section featuring three entertaining aquariums. At the entrance, there's a storage pool for live crabs that can be purchased by the kilo.
Decent food. Ambience is a-okay. Clean place and semi-outdoor. There is also indoor seating. Definitely must go try this place because wide selection of menu. They serve pork, fish, beef, chicken etc. here. I got the Nasi Campur Babi here in the frame 😍
Dewinta D — Google review
Seems quite clean and spacious; food was fine. Ingredients are pretty good although the prices are a bit high. Menu is dizzying with a bit of decision-paralysis; I opted for my standard capcay - it's good but I wouldn't order again, I would go back to my regular restaurant (near GBP). The cakwe was crispy and nice. I tried to order tuna but they said it would take 30min and i didn't want to wait - at least they also provide a warning! That's a new experience! The annoying thing was the flies, maybe ask to sit in the other room.

Very famous for its 'babi tore' crackling pork. It also serves other kind of pork dishes, porridge, fish, chicken etc. Price is a lil bit high. It has aircon room, you just got to ask for it.

Put aside your health consciousness. it's worth it. order their babi bakar (barbecued pork) and pork satay. the fat has this soft melt in your mouth texture the satay also was very flavourful. dont come alone though, because minimum order for satay is 10 sticks portions were generous too. easy to park as well

They seem to do a large portion of food for take out. The sit down section is not unpleasant. Three aquariums are entertaining. At the entrance is a storage pool for live crabs. Pay for your crab by the kilo. The menu is very large. We had a Babi bakar/Nasi Goering and pork soup with noodles and dumplings. For drinks a small Bintang and an excellent soursop juice. 8 dollars US. A very fair price. Would return.

Wahaha is a popular seafood restaurant known for its delicious and spicy dishes. The vibrant presentation of the food adds to the overall dining experience, making it a local favorite with great service and fresh seafood. The main attraction is the grilled fish, complemented by a variety of other seafood options. Despite being located a bit far from the main road, Wahaha offers spacious seating and affordable prices (except for fish). Guests can also enjoy live music while savoring their meals.
First of all, I like the name, straightforward and funny. But the food is seriously good. Look at the color and presentation, everything makes you feel like moving your fork and spoon to move into your mouth. Everything is spicy and everything is sexy when you taste it. This place is big locally and service is great. Plus, the seafood is fresh. When the food is fresh, you don’t need to much of everything else. But when seasoning and spices are also great, then this is Manado good. Come and feel the vibe!

The serene atmosphere created by the abundance of trees provides a calming experience for diners. One standout element is their delectable sambal sauce, which resembles taichan but with a pleasantly saltier taste.
My go-to spot every time I land in Manado. The food is delightful, especially the amazing fried banana. Desserts are a treat, and the setting is super cozy with nature all around. Quick service, and the prices are very reasonable. They've got a driving range too, offering golf stick rentals at crazy cheap prices - 100 balls for 60k and a golf stick rental for 50k with no time limit.

The seafood is fresh. The taste of the cooking is really Manado authentic. Try "Nike"! Sambal Roa: delicious! Super friendly staffs!

This is a well-known local spot for grilled fish in Manado. We ordered red grouper and marlin— both were simply prepared but really tasty. The fish is priced by weight, and you can pick your fish directly from the fridge before it’s grilled. We also ordered fried cassava as a side dish, and it was absolutely delicious — hot, crispy, and addictive! Probably our favorite part of the meal. For drinks, we had avocado juice and soursop juice. Both were decent, though a bit too sweet for our taste as they added quite a lot of sugar. The place was lively and filled with locals and tour groups. Definitely worth a visit if you want to try authentic Manado-style grilled fish.

this restaurant sells various seafood menus. they also sell other side dishes. the place is huge. they have live music too where you can also sing along, or have a karaoke. the quality of the food is top notch. this is the best seafood restaurant in manado that i've tried. the ingredients are fresh. their fish woku, or fish soup in yellow spices, is so good. it's savory, and has a hint of sour. the fish is tender and doesn't smell fishy. there is a similar dish, which is kuah asam, or fish in sour soup. personally, i think it's even better. the corn fritters are amazing. they're crispy outside, and not soggy at all. they use less batter and more corn.

We’ve ordered a couple of tindarung (marlin) steaks, and the fish are good but not super fresh — understandable, might not be the season. Then the vegetables: the pakis is not fresh and they put too much papaya flowers along with it, but the eggplant dish is fantastic. The toilet is NOT clean. It’s kinda embarrassing for a restaurant of such repute. Love the quote on the waitresses shirt. They also work fast and efficient.

At Dabu Dabu Lemon you pick your seafood right at the entrance—tuna, shrimp, squid, and many other fresh fish options. The seafood is excellent: extremely fresh, well prepared, and definitely the highlight of the place. They also serve vegetables and rice dishes to go along with it. On the downside, the beer was served warm (we had to drink it with ice), and the desserts were a bit disappointing. But if you come for seafood—which you should—this place is highly recommended.

Location : Manado, South Sulawesi, Indonesia When I first tried their menu, literraly i fall in love! This restaurant has a special menu of "Soto Rusuk, Babi Toreh, Kaki Babi Goreng, Rusuk Bakar, Regey dan Nugget Ba, Soto Ribs" Besides being able to enjoy Soto, visitors are also spoiled with beautiful beach views. Accompanied by the sound of the waves and the view of the city lights at the end of the beach, a special bowl of soto rib ba and a portion of grilled pork ribs is ready to eat. Their “soto rusuk”, the gravy really tastes like pork broth and other spices, as can be seen from the brownish gravy. The body immediately felt warm when sipping the first spoon of the sauce. The meat is so tender that you don't have to work hard to bite it off the ribs. In addition to the ribs, there are also white noodles and pieces of scallion in the soto bowl. In line with the soto ribs, the grilled pork ribs are also very tender and delicious. Its dark brown appearance is truly appetizing. The roasted spices go down to the bone, and they taste really good. The taste is delicious, the onions are so tasty, savory with very tender ribs. Various drinks are also provided here, such as juice, es teler, es brenebon, coconut, es cendol, coffee, and several other packaged drinks. Love it!

In general, the taste doesn't suit me. The sourness of the soup was the only ok part. The meat in the soup was not ribs, they were back bone. And they sticked to the bone quite hard and there were many little pieces of bone that bothered the eating process. The nougat ba, was fried ribs (backbone), and it just taste like a fried thing. No extra savoriness or else. I was disappointed.
