Philippine Eagle Center

Nestled in a forest-like setting, the Philippine Eagle Center has been dedicated to the conservation and protection of the endangered Philippine Eagles since its establishment in 1987. The center offers educational tours where visitors can explore various attractions such as the Rainforest Walk, Raptor Garden, Incubation and Rearing Laboratory, Flight Zone, and Monkey Island. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to support the organization through donations, animal adoption programs, or purchasing eagle-themed products.
A Memorable Visit to the Philippine Eagle Center, Davao Our family had a wonderful time exploring the Philippine Eagle Center in Davao. It was a unique and meaningful experience—especially for the kids, who were excited to see animals they’d only seen in books or on TV. The highlight of our visit was seeing the Philippine Eagle up close—majestic, powerful, and truly one of a kind. The star of the center, Viggo, was a special moment for us. He’s not only an ambassador for conservation but also featured on the front of our P1,000 bill, which made the encounter even more memorable for the kids. Beyond the eagles, there were plenty of other animals to see—monkeys, crocodiles, and several species of birds including owls and hawks. Each enclosure had informative signs that helped us learn about the animals and their conservation status. The center does a good job of keeping the place shaded and natural, so walking around was comfortable even during midday. The kids especially enjoyed the lush, green surroundings and had fun spotting the animals inside their forest-like enclosures. One of our favorite photo spots was the little archway covered in vines and foliage—perfect for a family picture. We left feeling more connected to Philippine wildlife and more appreciative of efforts to protect endangered species like our national bird. If you ever find yourself in Davao, this is a must-visit for families, nature lovers, and anyone wanting to teach kids about the importance of conservation.

One of my favorite places we visited during our educational tour was the Philippine Eagle Center. Because it has a lot of beautiful views with a lot of different kind of animal especially the philippine eagle. The place was clean and peaceful, which made the tour really nice. The tour guides knew a lot and helped us during the whole visit. The center was clean and well taken care of. You can tell they work hard to keep it nice. That why I had a great time walking around and looking at the animals. This trip made me understand how important it is to protect animals that are in danger and how important it is to take care of our nature. I also liked the handmade souvenirs they were very pretty and creative. Overall, the Philippine Eagle Center was a great experience, hoping to visit this place again with my family.
Marden C — Google review
My visit to the Philippine Eagle Center was a memorable one, especially for the chance to see the majestic Philippine Eagle up close—a rare and inspiring experience for any nature lover. The animals looked healthy and well-cared for, and it was delightful to see the monkeys playfully reacting to our presence, showing just how lively and alert they are in their enclosures. The tour was fairly quick, mainly because there were no scheduled animal exhibitions or guided tours during our weekday visit, which I understand may be part of their regular operating limitations. However, it would have been more engaging if the staff were more accommodating, especially in guiding guests on where to go or how to best navigate the area. Having a tour guide or at least more signage would definitely enhance the experience. The entrance fee as of August 2025 was ₱150 per person, plus an environmental fee of ₱5 at the gate—very reasonable considering the conservation efforts the center supports. While a few animals seemed a bit stressed, and the experience felt more self-guided than interactive, seeing the Philippine Eagle in person makes the trip absolutely worth it. It’s a good place for a short, educational visit, especially if you're passionate about wildlife conservation and biodiversity in the Philippines.
Michael Z — Google review
Visiting the Philippine Eagle Center in Malagos, Davao City is a truly unforgettable experience. Nestled in a lush forested area, the center offers a close encounter with the country’s national bird, the majestic Philippine Eagle, while also serving as a reminder of the importance of wildlife conservation. Walking through the 8-hectare sanctuary, you’ll see not only the eagles but also other fascinating animals like owls, deer, and crocodiles. The guided talks and interactive exhibits make the visit both educational and inspiring, giving you a deeper appreciation of the eagle’s role in the ecosystem and the challenges it faces in the wild. What makes the trip even more meaningful is knowing that every entrance fee and souvenir purchase supports ongoing conservation programs. The peaceful environment, rich greenery, and chance to witness one of the world’s rarest eagles up close make the Philippine Eagle Center a must-see destination when exploring Davao.
Chris L — Google review
The few eagles that i saw where cool, but there wasnt a lot of them. You had to pay to get into the center then you had to pay again to see the eagles. It was a nice perserve.
Muzzy B — Google review
This place is worth visiting! We loved seeing the Philippine Eagles in person. They looked majestic. The place looks surreal and looks well taken cared of. I highly recommend this to people who are looking for a quiet escape in Davao.
Kiko T — Google review
The birds are well kept and maintained and the introduction to animals are on conspicuous place. The center also house owls, monkey, phyton, deer and crocodiles.
Rhodora V — Google review
THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAVAO TRIP! The Philippine Eagle Center is around 1hr away from Davao City. We had to ride a van from Bangkerohan to Calinan, then a Bao-Bao to the site. You need to pay for a PHP5.00 environmental fee, then PHP150.00 to get inside the exhibit area. They offered to give us a guided tour for free. Our guide are student volunteers to the organization. He was really helpful in explaining the efforts of the organization for the animals under their care, as well as the information about them. If you want to see them eat, come around 10AM because that's their feeding time. I was really amazed to see the different animals they have here, especially the different Philippine Eagles. As per our guide, the eagles rotate the enclosures every few months or so. They also give them live rabbits as food to preserve their hunting instinct. For the price that you're paying for, going here and supporting this place is really worth it.

Mount Apo, the highest mountain in the Philippines, is an active volcano with a tropical forest, geysers, and waterfalls. Standing at 2,954 meters above sea level, it is a paradise for nature lovers with its diverse flora and fauna thriving in its unspoiled environment. The rugged terrain offers hidden streams for adventurers to discover.
Conquering Mt. Apo - the highest mountain peak in the Philippines, 2,954 meters above sea level. This is the hardest climb I have done, but also the most rewarding. Trails of Kapatagan lead through forests, sulfur vents, and volcanic rocks to breathtaking summit views.
Marc — Google review
The beautiful Grandfather of all Philippine Mountains, Mt Apo! The first day's trail was a tad forgiving but the boulder face on the 2nd day had our knees shaking... Literally! But our determination to make it to the summit remained unwavering. Anyone who attempts to reach the summit thru sta Cruz trail should prepare mentally and physically! Boulder face is no joke. It nearly drained the life out of us.. and it was only 6 in the morning! 😂 Also, prepare for unpredictable weather conditions. Tinikaran campsite and camp Reyes can both get really cold it'll make you shiver at night especially when it rains. But with the right gears, you'll be fine :) The guides were extra helpful and considerate especially to beginners. Took an extra mile by sharing with us their drinking water. Water source to the summit from the campsite is so scarce so that's one thing one should prepare. We were also happy to turn the climb into a learning experience for our son about the forest with its flora and fauna. Overall, the entire experience was rewarding and worthwhile. We sincerely hope we can summit again in the future.

One of my Greatest adventure as a hiker. Will definitely go back here and try other trail.

Loved Mt. Apo. My climb of the year! (December 10-12, 2022) I want to go back to this mountain in the future and take the same trail again which is the Sta Cruz Trail (circuit). At the time of our hike was amazing due to nice weather. Thank you Lord for the clearing. The organizers (i-Trekkers) were very accommodating and caring to us and they'd made us laugh all the time. Overall, it was fun and unforgettable experience in hiking Mt. Apo. 🧡❤️

These pictures were taken last April 30- May 1, 2022. Our group had the chance encounter of the injured warty pig wandering near the summit. Weeks after, the DENR brought a veterinarian to treat its injuries. There have been no sightings of it since its recovery.

The highest summit in the country. Very beautiful scenery. It has differently unique sites. The boulder area is very challenging yet astounding. The summit has 360degree view of neighboring summits in Mindanao. Lake Venado is an enchanting water that gives a wonderful reflection of the summit. Different trails have different challenges. A really fulfilling experience!
Tupe D — Google review
Our Mt Apo climb. I was a newbie back then, unaware of the things concerning hiking/mountaineering, I was with Osmond and Lisa, also newbies, we were really unprepared, but though it was really tiring - (6 hours of hiking to get to the campsite and 3 hours more to get to the summit), it’s one of the best experiences I had. Hiking the highest peak in the Philippines is a one of a kind experience. We were able to go thru different terrains. It was tiring yet a fun filled adventure!

At 2,954 meters, this is the highest mountain in the Philippines. This is how Mt. Apo looks from the coastal road near Ecoland Subd from Tulip Drive.

People’s Park

Park
People's Park is a sprawling city park that offers a variety of attractions and activities for visitors. The Durian Dome, a prominent landmark within the park, showcases unique architectural design resembling a giant durian fruit and serves as a multi-purpose space for events and gatherings. This 4-acre tropical rainforest park features ponds, waterfalls, shady trees, and wildlife such as wild eagles.
I went here on a weekday afternoon. There's also one entrance and one exit. It felt secure because security will check your bags before you go inside. It's reallh nice to walk around the place because it has a lot of Davao-inspired architecture like the durian-shaped roof, Philippine eagle sculptures, Waling-waling, etc. A lot of people were jogging around the oval, some people are using the calisthenics equipment. Inside the People's Park is the National Museum of the Philippines (Davao), you can also go there for free.
Marc J — Google review
People’s Park is a great place to relax, unwind, or squeeze in some light exercise. It’s free and very accessible, making it a convenient spot for locals and tourists alike. I could easily imagine myself living nearby and visiting regularly to jog or simply enjoy the fresh air. The park also has a playground area where kids can play and explore, which adds to its family-friendly charm. There’s also some interesting art and sculptures that give the park a unique personality. That said, it could really benefit from better maintenance. Some areas feel a bit run down. If it were cleaner and better cared for, this park would easily deserve a five-star rating. Overall, it’s still a nice and enjoyable place, especially if you’re looking for a free and peaceful hangout surrounded by trees and greenery.
Chad M — Google review
This was the First time I encountered a gated and secured public park. Free Entrance for all. Nice place to relax and sit under the trees. Next to it is The National Museum.
Sheryl B — Google review
My kids love our visit. There's a playground and I love that they have to remove their shoes there. We also love the pigeons. There's also a field great for picnics.
Ruenna R — Google review
Kind off good place, free ticket, and lots of places to sit under the trees. Thankyou for the nice experience, i hope all the facilities can be well maintained and updated.
Peni P — Google review
June 2025 │ Davao City’s People's Park used to be the “it” park when it opened in 2007 and was even awarded as one of the cleanest and greenest public parks in the Philippines at one time. However, as Davao City became more progressive, hosting more malls and shopping centers, creating more public parks and playgrounds, developing commercial spaces north and south, People's Park became the lesser choice among park-goers, domestic tourists, staycationers, and flaneurs. Since this is open publicly and is exposed to the ever-changing weather of the city, the hardscapes and landscapes have been difficult to maintain; that some parts are really slippery with algae, lichens, liverworts and mosses. Even the growing tree roots and trunks are changing the land surface, including the cemented ones. The once lively fountain surrounded by works of art by the famous Kublai Millan is now dead and home to algae or pond scum. A pond nearby that was once home to live fishes is also dead with decaying leaves and tree debris. Some park benches are falling apart or are completely damaged. Though there is clear dilapidation here and there, the park remains alive with visitors even on a Sunday especially from families and dating partners who enjoy the shade of the mini-forest. They make good of what is available within the compound. Students enjoy the open ground, and while fitness enthusiasts enjoy a weekend jog along the paved walkway. I wonder if the scenery changes on weekdays cause some part of the area is closed on Sunday – the Durian Dome and the Children’s Fun Park.
Francis J — Google review
A nice place to go for a walk. But maybe not so safe for tourists. A lot of young local people following me around giggling. Harassment. I wouldn’t return to this park again.

Great Park. Also bought black ice cream! There's also national museum inside.

Davao Riverfront Crocodile Park & Zoo is a renowned attraction in Davao City, showcasing the state-of-the-art crocodile farming system of the Philippines. Visitors can get up close with various reptiles like saltwater crocodiles, freshwater crocodiles, and pythons. The park also features educational exhibits such as the Butterfly Museum and Tribu KMindanawa Cultural Village.
Davao Crocodile Park is a fantastic place to visit, especially for families and kids! While the name suggests it’s all about crocodiles, the park actually features a wide variety of animals. Beyond the impressive crocodiles, you’ll find different species of birds, turtles, a fascinating orangutan, as well as majestic tigers and lions. It’s both educational and entertaining, making it very child-friendly with plenty of opportunities for little ones to learn and explore safely. Plus, there’s a nice souvenir shop where you can grab memorable keepsakes. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Davao!
Maria L — Google review
As someone who has visited Davao Crocodile Park and Zoo multiple times, I can truly say it’s more than just a tourist destination – it’s a place for learning, fun, and appreciation of wildlife. Each visit offers something new: from watching the thrilling crocodile feeding sessions to seeing exotic animals like tigers, snakes, and rare birds up close. The zoo is clean and well-maintained, and the staff are approachable and knowledgeable. Kids and adults alike enjoy the interactive shows and educational talks, especially the weekend animal encounters. It’s a great place to bond with family, take photos, and even learn about conservation. There’s also a souvenir shop and snack bar to complete the experience. Definitely a must-visit in Davao – and worth coming back to!
Sheena G — Google review
Davao Riverfront Crocodile Park & Zoo is a fun and enjoyable place to visit with family and friends. The animals are well taken care of, and the park offers a good variety of attractions that both kids and adults will appreciate. It’s clean, well-maintained, and definitely worth experiencing when in Davao. The only downside is that the entrance fee and some activities feel a little bit pricey. Overall, still a great place to spend a day and create lasting memories.
Bon S — Google review
We visited the park midday on a weekday as part of a city tour. There weren't many people, which made for a very easy and relaxed look around. The park offers a respectable assortment of animals, including crocodiles (of course), tigers, zebras, and various birds/raptors and other reptiles. Since I'd never seen a crocodile before, that's where I spent most of my time—it was genuinely intriguing. My key takeaway: If you are in the area and contemplating a visit, I advise checking recent reviews from others first. The current standard adult rate of ₱450 (Philippine Pesos) is something you should consider against the scope of the zoo before making your decision. Note: the entry stamp they use took several days to completely wash off!
Craig M — Google review
The total entrance fee for the three of us was Php 1,300 including my 9 year old son, there is no separate fee for kids. We went there on a weekend and the place was packed. The kids enjoyed the show at 4pm showcasing their animal ambassadors. The host was engaging and the animal trainers were great. The place in general is good.
An M — Google review
This was an unexpected but enjoyable trip with the kids. We only got 4 hours in Davao, we went here for just an hour. Sadly we were not able to catch up with the show. Still, the kids enjoyed it so much. Our tour guide in the park was truly helpful.
Erik S — Google review
450 for the entrance, which is a bit much considering the state of their Zoo right now. It is smelly, stinky, and it makes me dizzy. They could have at least cleaned the cages because the smell is so bad. I also saw an injured cat, one of its legs was broken, they could’ve helped the cat::(. Nice view tho, it just needs to be cleaned.
Segundo T — Google review
I was there with my family. The kids love the show and the zoo itself is very interesting. It was worth the travel. We will recommend this for every tourist to definitely visit this place.

This is a place to go when in Davao. It will be doing a renovation soon but the small area forbtje tour is 100% interesting because of the staff!!! Highly recommended! Fully airconditioned, too!

It is a small museum, but worth seeing if you are interested in Davao history.
Christopher K — Google review
This Museum was previously located in a Old Structure. It moved to a newer building, and smaller too. Exhibit is only at the 1st floor. You can finish with this stop in just 5 minutes or less, unless you would stare at each item for a minute which will take you around 50 minutes. The Lady at the Museum if you can call it a museum said that they will be moving to another place. Hope it will be better than this. Staff here are friendly though.

Hi y’all, Just visited the local history museum and it is quite good. You get a tour if you want. I’d recommend it because they tell you the history very detailed and it makes so much fun listening to them. Admission free and the tour is also for free. I’d recommend this museum. King regards Peter

Roxas Night Market in Davao is a vibrant and bustling hub of local street food, offering a wide array of authentic Filipino delicacies. From skewered isaw to balut and sinuglaw, visitors can indulge in an eclectic mix of flavors. The market also features Mang Dannys Ice Cream, where eager patrons patiently line up for scoops of dirty ice cream or sorbetes.
We went here on a weekend for dinner. Grilled fish dishes were great - tuna and catfish, but grilled pork and bbq were bland. Charcoal ice cream is a must try (mix it with other flavors). Got a pair of NB shoes from thrift shops along the market! High police visibility, peaceful and tourist friendly place.

Very nice experience. The food was good and people were nice. Security is doing their job seriously and it's very safe. They also have an area where you can live big packages you're carrying. Good place to find clothes and shoes, very cheap.
Flavius D — Google review
I didn’t expect that it’s this huge. A lot of stalls of food, clothes, souvenirs etc. This even has a massage area where you can relax. Food was proven safe. My tummy is super sensitive but it did get upset. Prices are the usual price for a night market. Location is easy to find. Accessible to jeepneys, taxis
Warlita F — Google review
This is a night market in Davao that is abundant of food stalls and cheap items. This place is proper having security check in, segregation and properly organized overall, in line with the whole city. The food is good and the stuff is cheap. There is also jewelry and souvenirs. You should check it out when visiting here.
Kyle_58 — Google review
This was my first time visiting a secured Night Market, and it was quite an experience. For security reasons, backpacks are not allowed, which I found unique but understandable. The market is divided into three main sections: 1st Section – Food: This area is filled with a variety of street food, desserts, fresh fruits, seafood, full meals, and drinks. The prices are a bit higher than usual, but the quality and taste make it worth a try. 2nd Section – Souvenirs: Here you'll find a nice selection of local items like bracelets, keychains, refrigerator magnets, shirts, and other keepsakes — perfect for pasalubong or gifts. 3rd Section – Thrift Shops (Ukay-Ukay): Located across the intersection, this section features a wide array of secondhand clothing and bargain finds. A treasure trove for those who love thrifting!
Sheryl B — Google review
This is definitely an experience a tourist should go to when in Davao. There are so many food options that I got dizzy just thinking about what to eat. It’s good that there are maby tables available so there’s no problem eating what you ordered immediately.

Everyone is still selling the same food with the literal same prices, and there's only very few truly unique items. Worth going once but honestly for the hassle of getting there you're probably not gonna leave happy OR full.

Jack's Ridge, situated on a picturesque hilltop in Davao City, is not just a dining destination but also a historical site with insights into World War II. It offers stunning panoramic views of the city and the Davao Gulf, especially enchanting at sunset and night. The area was once part of the Japanese forces' headquarters during the war. Visitors can savor Filipino cuisine while taking in the breathtaking vistas or enjoy live piano performances at the BMW Piano Bar.
I decided to go to Jack ridge since it's my second visit to Davao, me and my family went there early but they didn't serve until 11am so we overlooked the view of Davao which was honestly the main reason why I went there and also saw a breakfast area. Once we were seated we got sisig, half chicken, and sinigang for the main and leche flan, and buko juice for drink and dessert. We were served first and the food was good, rather decent, the service was decent but the price 2K which took out my extra savings. I didn't know I was that expensive but overall the place was good to get good pictures and views while also eating food, just make sure to have extra budget with you if you want to eat.

Honest Review! The location is superb! Giving you the best view of Davao City but overall the food is not worth the price, a bit pricey and some dishes lacks of flavor. We only like their tuna belly sinigang and pomelo salad. Paid 3.2k including serving charge.

We were amazed with the new designed restaurant. As we were approaching 3-4 waiters were standing inside the front door and we thought they’re about to opened the door for us. I know i expect too much but they were blocking the front door. I pushed the door myself to let ourselves in. When we finished eating we ordered dessert and we had to asked to clear our empty plates coz the waiter is about to serve it without clearing our table. Plus waiters are not acting very attentive to customers and they only had 3 tables to attend that time. I also expect them to act professional please! They gossip and joking around in front of us. Other than that, food was ok. This place is almost perfect! We say this things for them to improve their service.

Beautiful views, great food and amazing staff! Immediate service with great menu options! My sirloin tips sizzling with Kinilaw was delightful as always and my wife chose pancit guisado, more than she could eat! Her Durian shake was to die for!!! If you haven’t tried this jewel of Davao, you must! YOU’LL LOVE IT!!!

Crocodile Park

Park
Zoo
Davao, the third most significant city in the Philippines, is well-connected by domestic airlines to major cities like Manila, Cebu City, and others. In downtown Davao, you can find popular attractions such as the Philippine Eagle Centre, Tamayong Prayer Mountain, and the famous Crocodile Park. The park showcases state-of-the-art crocodile farming with thousands of freshwater and saltwater reptiles bred on site.
It may be far from the greatest zoo in the world but the sheer number of Crocodiles makes it a sight to behold and the lone Orangutan 🦧 pulls in o es heart to be sure.
Bryan M — Google review
This is my first time at the park. I didn't go to the zoo or the butterfly house(being renovated). I did like the park, there is a lot of open area for soccer (football here) and basketball. Being an American, i was surprised by the roosters 🐓 and a small food shack with great empanada. Who would have expected empanada in a Philippines park??.
Robert H — Google review
A must-visit attraction in Davao! The Crocodile Park & Zoo offers a fun mix of adventure, learning, and relaxation. My family and I really enjoyed the different animal encounters, especially seeing the crocodiles, tigers, birds, and snakes up close. The park is clean, well-maintained, and has friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the animals. The shows and feeding sessions were also entertaining and educational, making the experience even more memorable. The only downside is that the entrance fee and some activities are a bit pricey compared to other attractions. Still, it’s a unique experience that you won’t easily find elsewhere. Overall, it’s a great place to spend a few hours with kids, friends, or family while learning about wildlife and conservation. Definitely worth visiting when in Davao City!
Bon S — Google review
Visiting Davao Crocodile Park was such a heart-warming experience. It felt like healing my inner child—seeing the animals up close, especially the crocodiles, was both thrilling and nostalgic. There’s something magical about reconnecting with that sense of wonder from childhood. However, I noticed that the park could really benefit from more maintenance. Some areas looked a bit worn down and could use a refresh to make the experience even better for visitors and the animals. Still, it was a meaningful trip, and I’m grateful for the little spark of joy it brought. Hoping the park gets the care it needs so future generations can feel the same magic.
Laarni U — Google review
It's a zoo with crocodiles as the main attraction. But they have new animals such as the zebra, capybaras, and the Bengal tigers. They have activities that are engaging for both kids and adults - like their bird shows, and cultural performances. They have stores that offer refreshments and snacks so you don't have to worry if you go hungry or thirsty - might wanna try their crocodile ice cream if you're up to it. 😅
Ephma S — Google review
Great place for children to explore some of the wildlife in the Philippines and pet a python and wrap it around the neck for fun. The show is a good intro too. They just need to focus on upkeep.
Shiju N — Google review
If you are a tourist in Davao it is one of the main atractions. Variety species of local animals. Interesting to see. Please do not expect a european zoo experience. Outdoor in high heat take a sun prof unbrella can be useful. They run 2 shows at 10.00am and 16.00.
Oya O — Google review
They have shows that are amusing. There are birds and animals that you can see.

Claude's Le Cafe de Ville

Restaurant
Claude's Le Cafe de Ville is a must-visit food destination in Davao City, located just a minute's walk from the City Hall. Situated within the Oboza Heritage House, this restaurant offers a historical journey as it is housed in the ancestral home of one of Davao City's pioneering families. The interior is adorned with family emblems and artifacts that reflect the city's development.
Claude's Le Cafe de Ville is a French cuisine restaurant located in the heart of Davao City Poblacion. The restaurant is on the second floor of the Oboza ancestry house. Claude's has retained the charm of the old house with its old wooden interiors and furnishings. They have a simple but impressive menu. Their cheese platter and medium well steaks are my personal favorites. Their prices are much more expensive but are quite worth it.
Marie P — Google review
Too sad to know that this place has closed already. I went to Manila for around seven months last year and when I came back, the first thing I wanted to do was to dine at Claude's. To my surprise, I found out that the restaurant stopped its operations a long time ago. 😢 Still posting this review to tell everyone that once upon a time, Davao has a great homegrown resto - Claude's.
Algene C — Google review
Good food, affordable Fench Restaurant. Restaurant is closed. Went back here for dinner on Mother's day. We were sad because we liked the resto.
Jojie ( — Google review
Claude's Café de Ville is a magnificent restaurant housed in an old mansion right in the busy city centre. It's a beautiful and tasteful oasis in a dusty, chaotic area of town. And the beauty of it all, the quality of the food actually matches the surroundings. It's such a pleasant surprise to find authentic, classy French food in this little corner of the world. During the holiday season Claude offers some really rare treats such as calve's head or couscous royale (with delicious merguez) on top of his standard menu. The foie gras at Claude's is small and pricy but truly sublime, certainly one of the best i've had in the Philippines. And i found the other items on his menu reasonably priced for the quality offered. Service is competent and attentive, a rarity in this country, and Claude himself watches over everything. The only negative thing i could say about Claude's is that the wine list exclusively French and therefore bad value. The house wine is good but at a hefty 1150 Php it better be and there are no better value new world wines on the menu. Nevertheless, the existance of a gem like Claude's in this remote, underappreciated city is very appreciated.

This restaurant is now closed. We came here on May 8, 2019, after not getting an answer on the phone. However, the restaurant on the ground floor, Huckleberries is a lovely southern American restaurant people should try.

For some reason i didn't like the food here in the first visit. However i was not dissapointed in my second visit. Expensive but good food and ambience.

Excellent place to dine. Very cozy as well.
Tandang P — Google review
One of the best meals we had in Davao. I personally love restaurants situated in ancestral houses because of the unique ambiance. Their staff are nice and attentive and the experience was made more special with Mr. Claude's presence and being involved with the dining operation. We left so full as the servings were huge. We highly recommed dining here when in Davao City.

Food is delicious and served fresh, with ample amounts for the price. Service -- the staff was accommodating and was conversant. Atmosphere -- rustic barn feels that matches the island life vibe.

Amazing restaurant with amazing food. The entire place is covered with cool art, and there's a little surf shop in the back.
Francisco I — Google review
Food is unique but it’s a hit or miss. I can only speak for the food i tried - Nilotlot (the bamboo thing), seafood, chicken mushroom. The nilotlot is good, it’s aromatic but this one has more coconut than meat chicken or shrimp. The seafood taste good but the serving size it too little for it’s price. The chicken mushroom is not so good, the meat is not tender it tasted like it’s been in the fridge for so long. The ambiance is nice though, lots of artwork, quiet and ample of space.

I have always been an advocate of sustainability. And part of it is experiencing farm-to-table restaurants. + points to this restau for using recycled materials for a good cause. 🥹 Please don’t miss trying the food here. It’s very good, and delicious (sinuglaw and chicken wings are what I have tried.) 🫶🏼
Yanz V — Google review
I have been to this restaurant three times already, a year after each time, and I'm always delighted. Food is nice (although it could be too salty sometimes). They claim to use organic ingredients, makes you feel good. The ambiance is nice, nature, ethnic, native style. I don't remember distinctly if staff are nice, so no comment on this part.
Amihan S — Google review
Come back to the past when the flavor had no magic sarap but only fresh and good ingredients directly from the farm!

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Davao! This place oozes with charm, relaxed and homely vibes. Menu is simple but the presentation is superb and creative. Everything we ordered was top notch, packed full of flavour, service was fantastic. Ceviche with grilled pork (sinuglaw) is a-must order.

Amazing place. Great ambiance. Friendly staff. Amazing food. Lami kaayo and to think their food are straight from their farm. It's refreshing to eat a huge bowl of salad. Lami ilang binalot na adobong dilaw. Ang they have cucumber juice made from scratch. Medyo lisod lang ipark, but they have reserved parking for customers. Overall, it was a great experience. I would totally come back!

Bondi&Bourke Davao

Australian restaurant
Bondi&Bourke Davao, situated in the Poblacion district of City of Davao, offers a fusion of Australian favorites and Filipino staples. This fine dining restaurant is known for its Wagyu Beef, Ribs, and an array of cheeses. It's among the top-rated dining spots in Davao City, showcasing a mix of unique delicacies that cater to various tastes.
The place is nicely arranged and in proper shape. The staff are genuinely polite and are professionally trained to ensure you are having a peaceful dining experience. The Ceasar salad is the best I had in Davao City (so far) and it's easy to tell that the chef went through extreme lengths to put his dishes together. Unfortunately, due to the high standards, the prices are a bit steep but excellence has its price. Very recommendable for special occasions.

Thanks for an amazing experience with my wife on our anniversary. I’m a big steak guy since I’m American and it was really similar to what I know. Great service and they even turned down 1k pesos on 2 wine orders since it was Holy Week, now that’s respect for God and how all restaurants should operate. Thank you again
Ronnie C — Google review
Both Bondi &Bourke and Bramble was the best experience and food ever. We have been traveling 6 months each year since 2019. Each city I visit, I always look up best eggs Benedict in town. Bramble came up and I’m glad it did. After eating an outstanding breakfast including Marie having the French toast, we checked out the hotel. Ended up booking a week and the staff and service was just as good as the restaurant. Breakfast included and two other outstanding restaurants on site. After staying a week, we booked another week as the rooms were perfect. I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Next time and every time we come to Davao, we have found our place!
Loren C — Google review
Location: it’s in the heart of the city. But they only have limited parking space. Place/Ambiance: it’s a classic elegant old house. Very sosyal. Price: it is a bit expensive but worth it! Food: all the food is good! I love their seafood risotto. Service: the service is excellent. Well-trained staff and very professional.
Noelle P — Google review
Dined here for our anniversary because we’ve always wanted to try this place since we were younger. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but it’s a special occasion, so why not go for it? I was surprised by how big their servings were. The server mentioned that the portions were for one person, but when they served it, it seemed more like it was for a family. The food is pricey, but it’s definitely worth it, plus the staff were very accommodating.
Jom S — Google review
Realized Bondi & Bourke also has a branch in Manila but this Davao spot is one of the few open late night. By late night I mean just before midnight! Restos close early apparently. Ofc food’s kinda pricy but it’s still a great place for bestie time.
Merl P — Google review
If you’re looking for an upscale restaurant to go bring your date with, then this is the place to go. The ambience of the restaurant both inside and outside was very nice. I liked how well lit their alfresco dining area was. In terms of the food, it was delicious albeit pricey! I really liked their quinoa salad! As for the service, our food took a bit longer than expected and their waiter kept apologizing every now and then which I appreciated.
SY T — Google review
All those 5 stars are true! Food: I ordered the steak rice and it was seasoned and cooked (medium rare as i requested) perfectly. I also requested ti have it sliced in 0.5in rather than 1inch strips and they made it happen. The seafood bisque was to die for, you can taste the creamy velvety crab paste and a bit of a kick packed with literal chunks of seafood! Service: As a forgetful person I left my AF keyfob outside the building and they were able to return it to me. They also provided me with a bag hook without me having to ask. Initiative is something I applaud them for. Atmosphere: Very well maintained heritage house vibes, similar to The Nielson Tower in Ayala Triangle in Manila! Nice for fancy lunches and intimate dinners.

Visitors can enjoy an array of delectable dishes that showcase the local flavors of Davao.
one of the best restaurants in Davao City. we always eat here with family because of the quality of food that is consistent all the time. we love the pork sinigang, gambas with mushroom, halo2x, imbao soup, and more.
Mary T — Google review
as much as we had heard about how great this place was, it was rather disappointing as the food was not very good. We took the leftovers home and gave it to the nannies, and they ate it but outside of that it would've never gotten eaten. I wouldn't expected a much higher quality. The tuna was extremely fishy tasting. If you know what I mean, not the tuna I'm accustomed too.
Bryan M — Google review
Went here to meet up with my friends. It is a good place to hangout. Food is very affordable and the serving size is good. Taste-wise, I liked it but I felt it lacked something and could be better.
MEARII-LY P — Google review
I like the place, it's safe for kids. Their food is good. 👌👌
Lonie R — Google review
When we bring up the words “lutong bahay” nothing comes to my mind first than Yellow Fin….Affordable dishes readily available by the time you arrive like sinigang baboy, nilagang baka, kambing, caldereta, lengua, tortang talong, pork giniling, and ginataang langka are worth noting…Ampalaya salad, pinakbet, tuna belly w/ tausi, imbao, and lechon kawali for short orders. Downside is the unappealing parking strip at both sides of the street….Sometimes the inconsistency in serving or pick up time varies. But still a good place to eat….
Farrah T — Google review
They live up to their fame and hype. The tuna dishes were all amazing, but what impressed me the most was how good their lechon kawali and manok was. All their side dishes tasted great as well. A lot of seafood restaurants are weak in their non seafood menu options, but not Yellow Fin. It's definitely worth adding a few to your table! Oh, and the Lumpia were perfect! Get those too. And the Halo Halo!!!!
T F — Google review
Spacious seating, mouthwatering dishes and courteous staff make this place awesome. Too bad they had run out of lechon kawali and calamares (that's one-two punch knock-out for my good friend who had craved for these food at that moment). It still was 6 PM I don't think they sold out that fast.
Roy P — Google review
The place is nice and clean. Their service is not good though. They served quite slow. Their 20 mins became 40 mins and we need to follow up from time to time about the 3 dishes we ordered. The laing was good but too small. The sinigang in salmon taste good. However, their spareribs in spicy salt doesn't taste good and not fresh.

The friendly staff and delectable food create the perfect environment for getting to know your companions. Since its establishment in 2015, Rekado Davao has been celebrated for its innovative take on traditional Filipino dishes.
Definitely a good place to enjoy your love for food. The serving is big as well and it's delicious - definitely for family and sharing. We also love the atmosphere of the restaurant, it gives an intimate feeling that is really what we like when dining in restaurants. Can't wait to get back with our family again.
Ivy S — Google review
It had been a while since my last visit, and the first thing I noticed was how much the place has expanded. The extra space makes it feel more open and accommodating, yet it hasn’t lost that warm, welcoming vibe that drew me in the first time. It’s the kind of environment where you feel instantly at ease, whether you’re there to relax, catch up, or get a little work done. The staff deserves a special mention. They’re just as hospitable as ever—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring without being overbearing. That level of service really sets the tone and makes the whole experience enjoyable. It’s one of those little details that sticks with you and keeps you coming back. What makes this spot stand out is its versatility. It’s perfect for round-table discussions where everyone can comfortably join in the conversation, but it’s equally great for family gatherings. The setup encourages interaction, laughter, and long conversations over good food. Speaking of food, it’s consistently good. The menu offers solid choices, and the flavors never disappoint. It’s not overly fancy, but it’s satisfying in the best way—something that complements the atmosphere and makes you want to stay longer. Overall, it’s a place worth recommending, whether for work, family, or just enjoying a good meal.

It is a very nice restaurant in town. Very demure HAHAHA char. The food is good. And as you can see, the place is really nice. They have kind staff. The bathroom is clean. I reco this resto.

Was not able to take pic of all the orders bec we really enjoyed all the food. Always our go to whenever we visit davao bec of its price, ambiance and of course the taste of the food. Walang tapon esp their sisig and sinigang. ❤️❤️❤️
Jimboy N — Google review
This is one of the very few I could think of that’s not a hotel buffet or a drive-by café for early breakfast. When folks are in town after mass we head over here. The plated options are worth the price and size. An easy-filling rice meal with a cup of hot tableya (plus chocolate spoon) does the trick and could last me till mid-afternoon. We did lunch/dinner reservations in the past for a function room. Their Filipino foods are decently acceptable too. Just watch out for flies hovering above. It’s proven that staff attentiveness changes when it gets too busy. Parking at specific hours can even be challenging.
Farrah T — Google review
**Great Food, But Portions Have Shrunk** My girlfriend and I love Rekado. We first ate here last year and were amazed by their kare-kare and lechon kawali. Fast forward to this year, I brought my girlfriend and my brother to eat again. While the food was still delicious, the portions were significantly smaller—about 50% less. I posted a comparison of the kare-kare and lechon kawali dishes: on the left is April 2023, and on the right is May 2024. You can see that the portions have literally halved or more. Additionally, this time, the kare-kare had only one piece with actual meat, and it was very little. When we visited, there was an event, and we asked the server how long it would take for the food. The estimate was 15-20 minutes, but the food arrived in 25-30 minutes. It would have been fine if our expectations had been set correctly from the start, so we could have ordered appetizers since we were already hungry. Overall, the food is still delicious, but please improve the portion sizes.
John C — Google review
Dinakdakan is well cooked and delicious! Don’t miss the Baka Tadyang and Turon. Lumpia is just okay, the wrap is a bit thick and sauce can do a bit more of flavour. Tuna sashimi is excellent. I’ll pass on the Seafood Rekado, it’s so-so. The Pomelo and Dried Fish salad is a good idea, and can be better. Cucumber lemonade is so so sweet, I won’t order it again. It’s a nice place, service is good except the drinks came late.

Davao Dencia's Restaurant

Davao Dencia's Restaurant is a beloved spot in Davao City, known for its authentic Filipino comfort food. While their lugaw (rice porridge) has gained them popularity, other dishes like tokwa't baboy (pork ears, pork belly and deep-fried tofu), pancit, and satemi also keep customers returning. The restaurant offers an intimate setting suitable for family dinners or gatherings with friends.
It's one of our top places to get comfort food. The place is a bit dated and old but they have maintained it well and the classic vintage vibes just add to the feeling of comfort and peace. Most of the menu items are for sharing. Don't expect too highly of everything. We come for the nostalgia and the homey comfort😊 really helpful after a long, busy day or week. Recommended classic: tokwa't baboy and congee
Kathleen D — Google review
The appearance of the food is good and the taste of the other. Kalamari is claimed to have eaten the rubber, the rice is not cooked. Durian shake has a taste of garlic.Anyway,I'm not too happy with the offer.

What a nice place. Good food. Friendly staff. Quick service. Thanks vevencio and bibing.
TJ B — Google review
I think their reviews are overrated. The food was a bit expensive for its quality and taste. Their tokwa’t baboy is overrated on social media. The other dishes we tried—torta, lechon kawali, pancit, and beef caldereta—were simple and nothing special. But I guess taste is subjective.
Erna B — Google review
Old but good! The best tokwat baboy!
Heidi B — Google review
one of the worst yet over priced food tasted. The lechon paksiw i ordered was really disgusting, it was served in a small soup bowl with 3-4pcs of boiled pork chunks with some bland sauce on it. Their "Pinakbet" has no bagoong, i don't know were they got the stupid recipe of putting a slurry in sauteed string beans, squash, tofu & ginger. it taste awful. Another is their "Tokwa at Baboy" finely chopped boiled pork on top of Tofu chunks swimming in vinegar that tasted like Acetic acid served in a platito.
Harold J — Google review
Not a fan of Tokwa't Baboy but I was really stunned when I tasted Dencia's tokwa't baboy. It was paired with their best-selling lugaw and brewed coffee, we really had a warmed up morning that day. If you happen to be in Davao, don't miss this hidden gem.

The place isn't in a busy place or known place and it's not super accessible unless you go by taxi or car. the building looks like a house(well it is) inside you'll see that it has this seagreen + minimalist aesthetic to it, it's very homey. the food tastes great as well, but their shakes aren't that good. they also sell some home made sauces. i really love their greek vinaigrette, its definitely worth visiting.

Delicious healthy food. Menu would be Sea food and vegetables, hence the name. :-) So this may not be the place for meat lovers. Ambiance is cozy. Wifi is available for free.
CJ R — Google review
The simple exteriors belie the excellent food within. The sea green door beckons you, and the muted lines of the, cozy, minimalist interiors are very well put together. The dishes I've tried we're all very good, and obviously made from fresh and select ingredients. It's all uphill from the simple okra and red curry appetizers, up to th main courses. The letdown were the cake we had for dessert, although they were very good by themselves: the tablea chocolate cake, and the key lime cheesecake, were a few days older than I'd want them. There was this other server who waited on us but brought us wrong orders a few times, although all of them were very helpful. Definitely a great place to come back to again.

Based on my experience, I dont recommend this to seafood lovers out there. The selection of crabs and other seafood proteins are overpriced! (3k for crabs and additional 1k for add-on seafood proteins) Unfortunately, the food taste was subpar not worthy for the cost we spent. They also charged a service fee, yet they didnt provide us drinking water while waiting for food to be served. Sadly, the overall experience was not great.

The restaurant is known for its vibrant flavors and unique atmosphere, making it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike. Whether you're looking for a quick bite on the go or a leisurely meal, Cafe Tavera provides an array of culinary delights to satisfy your cravings.
Cafe Tavera has exceptional staff and service. Very accommodating, attentive, and friendly, making special occasions even more memorable. We had our dinner and I saw they don't offer only what you think they offer. But they have fresh seafood, flavorful dishes like chili crab, kinilaw, and King Mud Crab with salted-egg sauce, Dragon Ball which is popular here. Both indoor and outdoor setting - cozy and just enough for groups to dine in comfort. Only they have limited parking available. Some patrons have noted challenges with parking near the restaurant. Overall, Cafe Tavera is a top recommendation for those seeking authentic Filipino and Asian flavors in Davao City and they are also one of the well known cafes that serves quality food!

The best chili crab I have tasted in Davao by far. The kinilaw is fresh! The tiger prawns are fresh, firm, with natural sweetness. They are perfect in sinigang, garlic and butter. Steamed oysters are a must try too!

Food – delicious Service – okay and can still be improved Dining Area – okay and can still be improved Parking – limited parking and can also do roadside parking along Camus and Avancena Streets From their menu, we ordered the following: Green Mango with Bagoong Kinilaw Medley 6 pcs Dragon Balls Baked Scallops Buttered Shrimps Calamares Grilled Pork Liempo Fried Carb with Salted Egg They have rooms for private group and family dinner, as well as space right for couples. Be sure to book in advance cause there are days when there are packed.

This place is a must visit when you're craving for Filipino dishes. One of our favorites in Davao City. They honor SC and PWD cards.

The staff and the food are 100% both satisfaction. The prices were soooo reasonable and I have nothing to say against them. Loveliest place I have been in Davao!!

Vegan restaurant
The Vegan Dinosaur is a health food store and organic food store located in Davao City, Philippines. Situated in the laid-back tropical city, it offers a healthy and cruelty-free approach to Australian Cafe Culture. The restaurant focuses on creating nutritious and ethical dishes with integrity. The establishment is known for its commitment to providing vegan and vegetarian options in a welcoming atmosphere.
My wife and I loved this vegan restaurant. She introduced me to this restau and I loved it even though I am not into vegan food. The staff were good too!

Ordered one of their wraps and it was so good! The sauce had a nice, balanced flavor that really complemented the filling. I also grabbed a matcha from Mylk, their neighboring café, and it turned out to be a great combo. The place is mid-spacious, comfortable for dining in, and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

I visited The Vegan Dinosaur, to get a healthy meal and for sure it did! This restaurant had so much food options, but despite so many options their menu was perfectly organized and even had some symbols indicating soy-free, nut-free and etc. And all the ingredients were listed which was perfect. The pastas were al dente and full of the fresh flavors. The wraps were full of vegetables, although I would have asked for more sauce cause I was bit overloaded with all the greens and veggies. And the quesadillas, had a cool healthy twist, they were crunchy and felt like I was eating nacho chips, but it was healthy. All in all, the meals were prepared quick and fresh. If you are looking for a hearty meal, I could vouch that these vegetarian meals can definitely make you full. Though, the space is small, but it was clean and cozy. Overall, I would rate my dining experience here a 4.7/5.

I guess even the newbies would love the food in green here at The Vegan Dinosaur. Each bite is a journey through a palate-pleasing wonderland. The owner was so friendly, she even suggested a food that could not disappoint us since we were new and I guess she decided to help us as truly, we were not familiar with the food too.😅 She's a hero! I am not a full pledge vegetarian, but I love the taste of the food we ordered. I am thrilled to try more on their menu! Forgot to take note of the food - though the flavor was rich and satisfying. Vegetarian or not, the restaurant is worth visiting!

I had a wonderful experience at Vegan Dinosaur in Davao City. I have an allergy to sesame seeds, and when I communicated this to the staff, I was truly impressed by how seriously they took it. Right in front of me, they held a team meeting to discuss the situation, ensuring everyone—from staff to management to ownership—understood the importance of handling allergies with care. What stood out most was how they turned this into a teaching moment for their team, focusing on prevention and making sure such issues don’t reoccur. That level of leadership and responsibility is rare to see. Personally, I believe every restaurant should proactively ask guests about food allergies, and it was refreshing to see how dedicated this team was to creating a safe and thoughtful dining experience. On top of that, the food was excellent—fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with love. The hospitality here goes above and beyond; you can feel that they are unreasonable about their standards in the best way possible. Special thanks to Saraha and Dan for their leadership and for setting such a great example.

I went to Davao for 6 days and I had to drag myself to try other places with vegan food because The Vegan Dinosaur just simply hits the spot. The nourish bowls, vego nachos, quesadilla and smoothie bowls are my absolute faves. Service is excellent, place is comfy and the bathroom is pretty and always clean.

Only the freshest produce goes into our bowls says the owner and it is. The food is very clean and everything you eat here satisfies your soul in a healthy way too. From appetizers to desserts they have it all vegan. Definitely- value for money, very accommodating staff and the owner was very kind. waiting to visit again :)

Transportation in Davao City

Getting around Davao City can be a little daunting if you’re new here. We can help list some of the major public transportation methods if you don’t want to rely on a car.

Davao International Airport

International airport
Davao International Airport, also known as Francisco Bangoy International Airport, is the main departure point for travelers visiting Davao. The airport takes pride in showcasing the city's reputation as the chocolate and durian capital of the country by offering a great selection of locally-made chocolate bars, cacao products, and various forms of durian. It is a small yet self-sufficient airport with clearly marked check-in counters for different airlines and shops and restaurants on both levels.
Davao International Airport, also known as Francisco Bangoy International Airport, offers travelers a seamless, efficient, and welcoming experience that sets a high standard for regional airports in the Philippines. From the moment you arrive, the airport’s modern design and clean, well-maintained facilities reflect the city’s reputation as a hub of orderliness and progress.

I recently flew domestically from Davao International Airport, and while the experience was generally okay, there are a few things worth mentioning. Positives: The terminal is relatively small but efficient. It didn’t take long to go through check-in and security. The staff were friendly, and the waiting area was reasonably clean. The bathrooms were also kept tidy, which is always a plus. Negatives: The seating in the departure area was a bit limited, especially during peak hours. There wasn’t enough room for everyone to sit comfortably. There weren’t many food or shopping options available. If you’re planning to grab a meal before your flight, options are quite limited. There’s Skygo cafe near gates 1-3 (which sells rice meals and ramen), another near Mabuhay lounge - A’den cafe (which sells silog meals and sandwiches), and the other was near gate 7 (but no tables for dining). The air conditioning seemed to be not functioning properly in some areas, making the wait a little uncomfortable. Additionally, when going here via public transport, the only options are riding the bus and taxi. Good thing taxi drivers here are friendly and only charge the exact amount flashed in their meter. Overall, Davao's airport is functional, but it could use some improvements in terms of seating and amenities. It’s manageable for a short domestic flight, but I wouldn’t call it a great airport experience.

April 20, 2025 Experience in Davao International Airport. 1. Seats are insufficient for passengers on domestic flights. 2. The women’s comfort rooms are not well-maintained due to the high number of passengers. 3. The escalator in the main lobby is under repair. 4. The lines for baggage check-in are very slow (both domestic and international). 5. There are few food shops, and the food options inside the boarding gates are limited. Overall it needs more improvement as it is an International Airport accommodating many flights.

I recently flew domestically for the first time, and overall, the experience was quite good. The airport was clean and well-lit, which made the ambiance pleasant enough. Staff members were friendly and helpful throughout the process. I appreciated the availability of free convenient charging outlets, which made waiting more comfortably. The food options were decent enough for my budget, with a few local specialties to try. Security and check-in were smooth, and public transportation access was easy to find. This positive experience definitely eased my nerves about flying domestically and I would recommend this airport to first-time flyers. ☺️

Arriving in Davao was smooth and convenient. Once you get out of the airport, there’s a taxi line right outside for those who prefer to take a cab. I booked a Grab instead, and I was happy to find a designated Grab loading area—it made things very easy and organized. Since my flight arrived late at night, the airport wasn’t too crowded, which made the whole experience calm and hassle-free. There are also ATMs inside the airport, so you can easily withdraw cash if needed. Overall, it was a pleasant first-time experience arriving in Davao—efficient, safe, and traveler-friendly.

Everything was very impressive- from coming in to going through all the checks. HOWEVER, there is not enough flight information boards to inform everyone of the gates and time of flights. The overhead announcement system also need an upgrade. It was so bad that it crackles and becomes a nuisance than helping people know of any updates. It was so noisy and incomprehensible! Otherwise it would have been a flawless experience.

There were a lot of people in the domestic part maybe due to multiple delayed flights Detailed: It captures a candid moment at a bustling airport terminal—Davao, Philippines, given the prominent "Davao Life is Here" banner overhead. The terminal features a clean, well-lit interior with geometric windows near the ceiling that allow natural light to spill in, softening the airport’s modern architecture. Beneath the banner, a diverse mix of travelers engages in different activities—some scroll through their phones, others chat, and several wait quietly with their luggage. The atmosphere is calm but expectant, with movement and stillness blending seamlessly. The banner above plays a crucial role not just as signage, but as a cultural touchpoint; its collage of local attractions and symbolic imagery offers visitors an early glimpse of Davao’s vibrant identity, setting the tone for what lies beyond the terminal doors. The organized line of luggage carts against the wall and the tidy tiling reflect a well-maintained space that prioritizes both form and function. It’s a scene that feels transient yet telling—an intersection of journeys, emotions, and introductions to place. For any first-time visitor, it’s a modest but meaningful start to exploring one of Mindanao’s most beloved destinations.

You can't see the heat but the waiting passengers can feel it. Lounge is under repair and the alternative restaurant is not appealing.
