Mountains
Mullayanagiri Peak, standing at 1,925 meters, is the highest point in Karnataka and offers breathtaking views and a summit temple. The peak is renowned for its serene atmosphere, lush grasslands, and rugged rocks. Adventure enthusiasts flock to this popular trekking destination with its snake trails, moraine and rocky patches, rolling hills, camping grounds, and cave explorations. Nearby coffee plantations add to the allure of the area.
Visited Mullayanagiri Peak (6,500 ft) with friends and it was an unforgettable experience! The cool breeze, lush greenery, and breathtaking views at such a height made the whole trip refreshing and peaceful. The trek was adventurous yet enjoyable, and reaching the top felt truly rewarding. The atmosphere was calm, the surroundings were filled with scenic beauty, and we had a great time clicking pictures and just enjoying nature. A perfect destination to relax, bond with friends, and experience the charm of the Western Ghats. 🌿⛰️✨

A must-visit for nature and adventure lovers! The small trek from the parking lot is refreshing and gives you panoramic views all around. The weather is unpredictable, which makes it even more exciting.

This is the highest peak in Karnataka, stands tall at 6330 feet.👍 Named after sage Mullappa swamy, who believed to have mediated in a cave at the peak. Located 20+ KMs from Chikkamagaluru, would need 40+ minutes due to the winding and scenic hilly roads. Make a note to get the Mullayanagiri vehicle pass online in advance to allow the car thru the checkpost as there are limits on the number of vehicles entering in a day. Need to park the vehicle at Seethalayana giri base and avail a local jeep services (Rs.50 per person one way) there. Jeep drops at the Mullayanagiri base / parking lot and from there it is a 20-25 minutes climb through paved stairs. There are around 450+ stairs, not very even, challenging for people with mobility issues. The climb is beautiful, offers great views of Chikkamagaluru valleys, Baba Budangiri hills and Shola forests, grasslands and distant waterfalls There are no restrooms at the peak, carry water, At the base there are many food cart vendors for snacks. No restaurants or ATMs. Weather keeps changing, most of the time mist engulfs blocking the views and offers a different kind of experience. Carry a light jacket, may tend to get colder post monsoon. At the peak/summit, there is Mullappa swamy temple and a milestone mentioning the height. The summit area can be kept clean and neat, on the other side some old buildings, thrash and debris are seen. ☹️ Would be a great place for taking pics and enjoying scenery/nature 👍

Visited this place before local authorities has made booking tickets online. View is great. Morning views are still beautiful. There is a temple at the top. One can easily spend half a day. One has to park their vehicle near Seethalayyana giri and walk or take jeep for next 3km. Even if you take jeep ride, they'll stop around 1.5 km before actual peak. So, it is very much convenient to walk as the path is very good and not much steep. There are some food vendors near the temple and near Seethalayyana giri.
Likhith C — Google review
Great view point. We spent ₹100 at entry, we have to do the booking online only from the website we can do, if you haven’t done you can do at the toll, even if you have network issues they have wifi. Cars ₹100 There are slots, mostly in weekends better book earlier. Bike no charge So u can go by own vehicle or rental or by package too. Own vehicle earlier is allowed till top, now they stop 3km before peak saying its new DC order. Not sure from when and why this came up, but yeah yu can take a jeep from there. Per jeep minimum 6 ppl, per person cost ₹50. In total they charge ₹300 one way, if you are group of less than 6 then also same amount or if yu okay with sharing they u can let two ppl join you. Two way cost avg ₹100 for jeep, which is quiet expensive, and to be honest we can go by our car itself. At top we have small shops, and tower is very bad. They will leave u at entrance from there u have to take 300-350 steps to reach top and there is a temple. Views were so good, climate was chill carry jackets for comfort. Since we went on a weekday it was fully empty.

One of the highest peak in Karnataka A must-visit for nature and adventure lovers Requires a small trek from the parking lot of about 500-700 Gives you panoramic view The weather is unpredictable so carry a rain coat. I visited during monsoon, so heavy winds and rain added the beauty. Great spot for trekking and having adventures You can discover new tracks, paths, valleys, streams, waterfalls, of you go deeper. Do this only if you are in a group. No network connectivity. Crowdy during peak seasons Affordable ticket price.

It was mind blowing experience. We visited in last week of October. It was fully covered with snow, and it’s heaven. This is the best ever experience in my life. On top of the mountain there is temple. Very peaceful environment, must visit.
Teju S — Google review
The place where clouds are beneath you and you see down to look at clouds. You need to reach there by 6 o clock to have best view. A bit tricky for children and elderly people as you need to climb some 600 steps. Car parking is available near to the place where steps start. No entry fee.

Coffee Museum

Mentioned on
2 lists
History museum
The Coffee Museum offers an offbeat experience where visitors can learn about the history of coffee plantations in India. The museum features a short movie explaining the origin of coffee and its impact on the local population. There are informative displays and a quality lab to explore, providing insights into the process of transforming coffee berries into coffee. While there is currently no option to create your own coffee, visitors can still enjoy a peaceful and educational visit.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Coffee Museum in Chikmagalur, and I must say it was an absolute delight! As a coffee enthusiast, I was thrilled to explore the rich history, intricate production process, and diverse brewing methods associated with coffee. The museum managed to exceed my expectations in many ways, though there are a few areas for improvement. The serene surroundings, with their beautiful gardens and tranquil atmosphere, set the perfect tone for the visit. The exhibits themselves were well-designed, offering an engaging and interactive experience that provided a comprehensive overview of coffee’s fascinating journey from bean to cup. However, it’s worth noting that the museum is relatively small, and one can easily explore all the exhibits within 10–15 minutes. Additionally, some parts of the museum seemed to lack proper maintenance, which could detract slightly from the experience for some visitors. One of the most memorable parts of the visit was the coffee-tasting session. The staff were not only welcoming and professional but also deeply knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. Their expertise added a lot of value as they guided us through a tasting of expertly brewed coffee. The flavors were exceptional, and it was clear that a lot of care went into every cup. The museum also has a picturesque park that serves as a great spot for photography, offering a delightful backdrop of greenery. While the ticket prices are quite reasonable—₹30 for adults and ₹20 for children—it would be wonderful if the management could invest more in maintaining the facilities to further enhance the overall experience. In conclusion, the Coffee Museum in Chikmagalur is a must-visit destination for coffee lovers, history buffs, or anyone eager to learn something new. Despite its compact size and a few areas needing improvement, it offers an enjoyable and educational experience. Whether you're savoring the exceptional coffee or soaking in the peaceful surroundings, you’re bound to leave with a smile and a deeper appreciation for your favorite brew!"

Coffee Museum is a must see place in Chikkamagalur, if you are keen to know more about history of Coffee and its evolution in India. Types of Coffee, a video clip explaining in detail, pre harvest, post harvest, pests, its a self explainatory. We tried the Coffee there and its good. You can Coffee there alos avlbl in gift packings. If you are planning for Coffee plantation there is a book available as well.
Santosh K — Google review
The Chikmagaluru Coffee Museum is a modest stop for coffee lovers, offering a brief look into the history and process of coffee making. While the museum holds potential, it currently feels underwhelming. The display area is quite small, housing only a limited number of old coffee-related machines and exhibits. Most sections are self-guided with written descriptions — there are no guided tours or audio aids, which might leave visitors wanting a deeper, more interactive experience. That said, the staff is friendly and welcoming, adding warmth to the visit. There's an adequate amount of parking available, making it easily accessible for tourists arriving by car. The coffee served at the end of the tour is truly enjoyable — strong, flavorful, and a highlight of the experience. However, the museum is in need of renovation and better upkeep. Some of the equipment and displays appear dated, and more modern or interactive installations could greatly enhance the learning experience. A richer collection of artifacts and improved maintenance would do justice to Chikmagaluru’s rich coffee legacy. In summary, while the museum has charm, it would benefit greatly from a thoughtful upgrade to make it more engaging and informative for future visitors.
Anirudh A — Google review
Decent, but Not a Must-Visit! I visited the Coffee Museum with high expectations since it’s located in one of India’s main coffee producing regions. Honestly, the experience was just okay. You do get to learn a few things about coffee, but nothing too “wow.” Around 15–20 minutes is enough to go through the whole place. The museum is well-kept and special mention to Vincent (the receptionist), he was very warm and welcoming, which added to the visit. You can also buy coffee here, but I’d personally recommend picking it up from the local markets in Chikmagalur instead. If you’re nearby, it’s worth a quick stop. But if you skip it, you’re not missing much.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Coffee Museum in Chikmagalur, and I must say, it was an enlightening and engaging experience. As a coffee lover, I was fascinated by the rich history of coffee in India, which dates back to the 17th century. The museum takes you on a journey through the stages of coffee production, from growing and harvesting to processing and roasting. The interactive exhibits, documentaries, and coffee-tasting experiences make it an informative and delightful destination for visitors of all ages. Located in the heart of Chikmagalur, the museum is a must-visit attraction for anyone interested in coffee, history, or culture. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a unique experience, the Coffee Museum is sure to impress. *Highlights:* - Interactive exhibits and documentaries - Coffee-tasting experiences - Rich history of coffee in India - Convenient location in Chikmagalur Note : All days open except Sunday. Ticket 30 per adult as on 15 March 2025

Pleasantly surprised to see this initiative from the coffee board. Very cute and well maintained museum. Helpful for anyone who is a coffee lover and wants to know the history of coffee in India. Would’ve loved it if they had some interactive tours and hands-on coffee workshops.

Decent place with some good insights about coffee history and science. Upkeep and visitor engagement could be a bit better. Overall worth visiting if you have a few hours to spare in Chikmanglur. Located very close to the RTO office.

Mountains
Baba Budan giri, also known as Chandra Drona Mountain Range, is a revered pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Muslims. It is home to the shrine of Sufi Saint Baba Budan and boasts stunning landscapes with lush greenery. The area is famous for the rare blooming of kurinji flowers once every 12 years.
Ride is truly enjoyable only if you go by bike otherwise, you won’t get the same thrill. Road conditions aren’t great, but the route takes you to Baba Budangiri. eventually to Manikya Dwara(complete mud road). Sitalayyana giri and mullayana giri on the way but need to take diversion. Visit the dargah here (remember to leave your shoes outside as per the tradition) divine experience ! Roads near the top become quite narrow (be careful if are riding alone) so you need to be cautious. A ride during the monsoon makes the whole experience even more memorable, with mist and greenery adding to the charm.

This is a very popular hill station near Chikmagalur that invariably is on the itinerary of every tourist. The drive itself is very scenic and beautiful. The road at places is bad but overall a good experience. Even though we visited this place on a weekday there was a good number of tourists. Light drizzle and a slightly misty top provided a surreal view.

The corn-shaped peak of Baba Budangiri is absolutely scenic and unique, offering stunning panoramic views all around. Personally, I found it more picturesque than Mullayanagiri, with its distinct shape and serene surroundings adding to the charm. A must-visit spot for nature lovers and photographers!

We visited in the October end, it was great. We can go by our own vehicle to the top. Road is also good. It was fully covered by snow and you can feel the clouds passing by. And also there a temple within caves, but phones are not allowed inside. Nice place to visit, if it’s not covered by snow then you can get great view.

Baba Budangiri Peak: A Mesmerizing Journey to Serene Views Baba Budangiri Peak is truly a captivating destination, and I've been fortunate enough to visit multiple times, even making it a combined trip with Kallathigiri Falls on one occasion. The journey up to the peak itself is absolutely mesmerizing, winding through beautiful landscapes. Be aware that the forest department collects an entrance fee and conducts checks upon entry. Once you get closer, you'll find there are about 3-4 distinct points to explore, including the main peak, a viewpoint, and a waterfall. You can park your vehicle near the stalls and dargah at the top, from where it's roughly a 2km walk to the peak. Alternatively, if you have a bike or a vehicle with good ground clearance, you can actually drive right up to the last point; it's not as difficult as some might claim. Don't be swayed by local vehicles trying to charge a lot by stating the terrain is unmanageable – that's often not true. Once you reach the final parking spot, making the short 10-15 minute climb to the very top of the peak is a must. The view from up there is simply serene, often cloaked in a mesmerizing fog, creating a wonderfully calm atmosphere. As you enter the area, you'll find stalls selling refreshments like Maggi, bread omelet, fruits, and water, though do note that these items are a little pricier than usual. It's a fantastic place to experience nature's grandeur and find some peace.

Hebbe Waterfalls

Nature & Parks
Hiking area
Waterfalls
Hebbe Waterfalls is a picturesque tourist attraction on a coffee estate featuring cascading waterfalls standing at 551 feet tall. Visitors can access the falls by hiking or hiring an SUV for about INR 3-4k accommodating up to seven people. The SUV ride is quite thrilling and lasts for about half an hour. Once at the parking lot, visitors must walk to reach Hebbe Falls which takes around 20-30 minutes.
Hebbe Falls is a must-visit spot in Chikmagalur! The journey itself is an adventure – around 12 km of thrilling jeep ride through the forest, followed by a 1 km walk to reach the falls. The waterfall is absolutely stunning and worth all the effort. One thing to keep in mind is the presence of leeches along the trail, so be cautious and wear proper footwear. Overall, a beautiful experience for nature and adventure lovers! 🌿💧
Ranjith R — Google review
A beautiful and large water fall we reach after a nice and adventurous forest walk which crosses water streams. Beware of the leaches in the forest because there are lot of them. We need to take a long off-road jeep ride which need 590rs per person.
Muhammed R — Google review
I recently visited this beautiful waterfall, and it was a truly refreshing experience! The waterfall is stunning — surrounded by lush greenery and a calm atmosphere that makes the short trek absolutely worth it. To reach the falls, you’ll need to take a jeep safari. Both KSTDC jeeps and private jeeps are available. I’d highly recommend booking tickets in advance and going with KSTDC. Their vehicles are well-maintained, they carry only a limited number of people, and the overall experience feels more organized. Private jeeps, on the other hand, tend to charge more and often expect passengers to adjust beyond the jeep’s actual capacity, which can make the ride less comfortable. From the dropping point, you’ll get exactly one hour to visit the falls. The jeep will wait there for your return. It takes around 20 minutes to walk down to the waterfall, where you can spend about 20 minutes enjoying the view, and then another 20 minutes to head back. Tip: If you’re visiting on a public holiday or during peak season and haven’t booked in advance, be prepared for a longer waiting time for jeeps. Overall, this place is perfect for a short and scenic adventure. Comfortable footwear, a water bottle, and pre-booked jeep tickets will make your trip smoother and more enjoyable.
Bharadwaj N — Google review
Hebbe Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls I’ve visited in Karnataka. The journey itself is memorable — you can either take a jeep ride through the forest or trek part of the way. The fall cascades beautifully into two stages, and the misty surroundings make it feel magical. It’s a great place for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone looking for a peaceful escape. Do carry some snacks and water, as there are no shops nearby. Best time to visit is during or just after the monsoon!

Hebbe Falls is a very beautiful natural waterfall and a must-visit destination. The location is scenic and peaceful, making it a great place to enjoy nature. The natural flow of water looks stunning and adds to the charm of the place.

The most beautiful place. I had been there two times. To reach there, we took jeep ride as other commercial and private vehicles are not allowed. Price per head is 599. You will enjoy the journey with scenic view on the way to waterfall. If you have any back pain and all, suggest not to visit and road is good. But it’s worth to get pain to reach there.
Pritish B — Google review
The experience is awesome. So beautiful and that off roading is worth every penny. So close to nature. On trekking path , 2 or 3 streams you will find. You will get to see crab, fish everything there. It's so refreshing and beautiful journey. For the jeep ride per head they will charge 590. Beware of the leeches. Such a beautiful place to visit in the winters.
Sonali P — Google review
It's a stunning destination for nature lovers ❤️ located near kemmanagundi. You can trek or take a jeep ride through the estate to reach it 😀 After the drop point also we need to trek for 15 minutes to reach the falls. The waterfall is tall and powerful during the monsoon time. The jeep driver will have a time and by that time we need to return or else he charges extra amount. Beware of leeches !! Dress changing rooms are also available here along with restrooms.

Shri Adishakthyathmaka Annapoorneshwari Temple Shri Kshetra, Horanadu

Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Sacred & Religious Sites
Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Western Ghats, the Adishakthyathmaka Sri Annapoorneshwari Temple in Horanadu is a divine sanctuary that captivates visitors with its serene beauty. Located on the banks of the tranquil Bhadra River, this ornate Hindu temple is surrounded by lush greenery and majestic mountains, creating a peaceful atmosphere perfect for reflection and devotion.
Annapoorneswari Temple in Horanadu is a beautiful temple surrounded by forests and lots of greenery. The views around the temple are fantastic. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, and it feels very spiritual. I had a fantastic darshan and felt super happy after visiting. The whole place is clean, well-managed, and full of positive energy. It’s a wonderful place to visit for peace of mind and blessings.

Good temple. Horanadu is a sacred place, known as Sri Kshetra, a pilgrimage site renowned for the Annapoorneshwari Temple dedicated to Goddess Annapoorna, the Hindu goddess of food and nourishment. It is in the district of Chikkamagaluru in Karnataka State. Located on the banks of the river Bhadra and nestled in the scenic Western Ghats, the temple offers free meals to all visitors, and the deity's icon was established centuries ago by Sage Agastya. The temple is also known as the "Adhishakthyathmaka Sri Annapoorneshwari Ammanavara Temple". A unique tradition is the offering of free meals (prasadam) to everyone who visits the temple, highlighting the meaning of Annapoorna, which is "feeding one and all".
SHYAM T — Google review
The best place ever for devotees.. Goddess Annapoorneshwari is so powerful that she makes you to automatically come there, take blessings and have the Annaprasada whenever she wants to see you. Her Ashirvada is the only thing everyone would love to have and she gives it hands full if you seek her blessings from your heart. There are accommodation facilities available. You can have a hot water bath for 30rs only. Washrooms are neat and clean. To prebook the rooms you should contact the office. Waiting time for darshana is around 5 to 10 mins and the greatness of the goddess is she allows all to get her view from as near as possible. Mangalarathi takes place around 1.30 pm in the afternoon and that might be the best time according to me to have darshana in the day time. If you are staying in there then the night darshana and mangalarathi would be great as the Alankara to the goddess looks amazing and divine. From this place sringeri is 3 hours away and you can plan one day trip to both Sringeri and Horanadu. Many types of Seva are available and the Akki Seve is the one which is very famous.

Nice temple. The temple located on the bank of Tunga river. Very powerful godess. We visited the temple just 5 days back when it was raining. Due to raining the temple sorroundong area was become dirty. Otherwise temple is well maintained. The food is very tasty. The dinning hall is very clean and hygiene. Huge car parking available opposite to the temple. Overall it is very good holly place and everyone should visit.

I recently visited the Hornadu Annapoorneshwari Temple, and it was a truly peaceful and divine experience. The temple is surrounded by lush green hills and the Bhadra River, giving it a very calm and refreshing atmosphere. The temple architecture is traditional and beautiful, with detailed carvings and a golden idol of Goddess Annapoorneshwari, who is believed to be the Goddess of food and nourishment. The darshan felt very special and serene. The temple management is very organized. The darshan queue moves quite smoothly, and even on weekends or special days, the wait is not too long. There’s no specific fee for regular darshan, and the temple offers free meals (Anna Prasada) to all visitors throughout the day. The prasadam is simple, tasty, and served with great devotion. It’s one of the main highlights of this temple. - Clean and well-maintained premises. - Separate area for footwear and a cloakroom for bags. - Plenty of parking space near the temple. - Shops outside selling pooja items, prasadam, flowers, and souvenirs. - Lodging and food options available nearby for those who wish to stay overnight. - Darshan timings: usually from around 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM. Overall, Hornadu is not just a temple visit, but a soul soothing experience filled with devotion, nature, and positive energy.

Shri Veeranarayana Swamy Devastana

Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
The Sri Veeranarayana Swamy Temple (Trikutaachala) is a notable 12th century Hindu temple built by the Hoysalas in Dorasamudra. The temple houses three shrines dedicated to Veeranarayana, Narasimha, and Krishna which are worshipped daily. The architecture of the temple is exquisite with intricate carvings and magnificent Gopuras. Additionally, the temple boasts ornate stone pillars and elephant statues.
You will feel very peaceful after visiting this temple. It is one of the oldest temples maintained by government. The architecture of the temple is majestic and the carvings are beautiful. One of the only temples where multiple gods are carved together. It is a must visit

A hidden gem of the Hoysalas! Peaceful and divine the place is a must see ! The intricate carvings and the spectacular geometric precision keeps one astounded about the technical intricacies! The drive along the fields with the western ghats dotting the the horizon are pleasures not to missed.

Tucked away in the quiet village of Belavadi, just a short drive from Halebidu, lies one of the most serene and spiritually moving temples I’ve ever visited — the Veeranarayana Swami Temple. I had read about the Hoysala architecture before, but nothing really prepares you for the peace and perfection that this temple radiates. As I walked through the stone gateway, the first thing that struck me was the silence — a kind of sacred calm that seems to wrap around the place. Unlike the more crowded temples at Belur or Halebidu, Belavadi feels untouched by time. You can actually hear the sound of your own footsteps echo through the ancient mandapa. The temple itself is a masterpiece. Every pillar is carved with precision, smooth and shiny even after centuries — a testament to the craftsmanship of the Hoysalas. The main sanctum, housing Veeranarayana Swami (Vishnu), stands tall and majestic. The deity’s expression has this divine calm that fills you with a strange mix of awe and peace. On either side are the shrines of Gopala Krishna and Yoga Narasimha, each beautifully sculpted, representing different aspects of Vishnu’s energy.

Absolutely wonderful architectural temple hidden near Halebeedu built by the Hoysalas. This is a Trikuta temple in which deities of Lord Krishna, Lord Veera Narayana and Yoga Narasimha are present. The idol of Lord Krishna is the most beautiful idol as per records. One should definitely visit this hidden gem. The approach road is good.

A serene and spiritually enriching experience. Make sure to visit the temple early in the day, as it closes by 1:30 p.m. The inner sanctum is often dark, and the camphor light may not always be kindled, making it difficult to view the idols clearly. If a priest is present during your visit, you can request him to illuminate the sanctum and offer your prayers and also give some offerings to the priest. The idols are beautifully preserved, with the Narasimha idol being particularly striking. This temple is a must-visit if you're traveling to Halebidu or passing through Arsikere.

Located near Belavadi, This is a hidden gem worth visiting during your Chikkamagaluru trip. The temple offers a peaceful ambience and features mind-blowing Hoysala architecture that showcases intricate carvings and rich heritage.

Shri Veeranarayana Swamy Devastana is one of the most underrated temples I’ve visited. The place radiates pure serenity — far from crowds and noise. The ancient architecture and beautifully adorned Lord Veeranarayana Swamy idol create a truly divine atmosphere. The peaceful aura and heartfelt rituals make this temple a perfect spot for spiritual seekers. It’s a hidden treasure that deserves much more recognition. ✨ A must-visit for anyone who loves calm, devotion, and heritage.

Kallathigiri Falls is a picturesque natural attraction located 50 km from Chikmagalur, known for its cascading waterfalls and the annual Hindu festival held at the nearby temple. The falls descend from the Chandra Drona Mountains, creating a stunning 400-foot drop. Visitors can enjoy cooking and picnicking near Chowdeshwara temple on-site.
Serene and Scenic – A Hidden Gem in Nature! Kalhatti Falls is a peaceful and refreshing escape into nature. The waterfall flows over rocks beside a small temple, creating a spiritual and tranquil atmosphere. The sound of the water and the lush greenery around make it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The area is clean, and the short trek up is worth it for the view. Ideal for nature lovers, photographers, or anyone looking for a quiet break. Visit during or just after the monsoon for the best flow!

Visited in rainy season, climate was very chilled with moist and a small water fall with pleasant ambience. A must visit place. Jeep ride per head 200Rs from the parking area of heavy vehicles. Around 500m off road, and then concrete road. Very thrilling journey to the spot.

This was my first time visit with family. It's a beautiful place to visit. One can get blessed from lord Veerabhadrasheswara. Take a pair of clothes and stand below water fall. Water is too cold and water is coming from river bhadra. One can reach following Google maps, but no good restaurant near by. Place is 6km from kemmangundi hill station. Lot of parking space available.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Beautiful and Serene Temple in Nature's Lap I recently visited this wonderful temple, Sri Veerabhadra Swamy Temple, located amidst lush greenery and natural waterfalls. The temple is truly unique with its beautiful integration into the rocky landscape. The sound of the flowing water adds a calming and spiritual vibe to the entire place. The stone carvings of Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, and other deities are ancient and mesmerizing. The temple's main deity is beautifully decorated with flowers, creating a divine atmosphere. What I loved the most: ✅ Natural waterfalls flowing through the temple. ✅ Peaceful and less crowded. ✅ Clean and well-maintained surroundings. ✅ Spiritual vibe with beautiful stone idols. Things to Note: The temple is a bit inside the forest area; reaching it might require a short trek or careful driving. Best to visit during or just after the monsoon to see the waterfalls in full flow. Wear proper footwear as the rocks can be slippery. Overall, it’s a hidden gem and a perfect place for those seeking peace, spirituality, and natural beauty. Highly recommended for nature and temple lovers! 🙏✨

One of the best scenes..!! There's something profoundly serene about a temple nestled beside a waterfall. As the water cascades down ancient rocks, its gentle roar becomes nature’s hymn — a sacred soundtrack to quiet prayer. Mist rises like incense, curling through the air and blessing the stone steps with a cool touch. The temple stands still, timeless, while the falls are ever-moving, ever-whispering. Together, they form a sacred duet: one carved by devotion, the other by time. It's a place where you don't just witness beauty — you feel it in your bones, in your breath, in your soul.

It's a small spot has a small water fall near to the temple. You need to travel for almost 1 hr in hills and it's ok.not as good as other spots near by. Jhari water falls is much more better and from there again if you go up the hill the view of fog and the climate is amazing over there .

Kallathigiri Falls: A Serene Escape Marred by Human Impact We visited Kallathigiri Falls just as the rainy season was ending, a perfect time to see the waterfall at its full potential, attracting a peak crowd. The sight of the water cascading over rocks right beside a small temple creates a truly spiritual and tranquil atmosphere, a beautiful blend of nature and devotion. However, our experience was tempered by a couple of significant issues. Firstly, an entrance fee was collected by locals on the road leading to the falls, with only a basic chit as a receipt, which felt somewhat suspicious. More concerning, though, was the pervasive lack of civic sense among many visitors. It was disheartening to see plastics and other trash being thrown into the water, and people openly washing themselves with shampoo and soap in the river. It's a real shame that some don't consider that this polluted water flows directly past the temple further downstream. To escape the crowds and the pollution near the main temple area, we decided to venture further. Just before the temple entrance, we climbed a rock and followed a trail along the river. After about half a kilometer, we discovered a wonderfully clean and calm spot, completely free from the crowds. This allowed us to truly connect with the serenity of nature that the falls are capable of offering. While Kallathigiri Falls holds immense natural and spiritual beauty, visitors should be prepared for the crowds and the disheartening environmental disregard at the main viewing area. For a more peaceful and unadulterated experience, I highly recommend exploring the trails further upstream.
Saish G — Google review
Kalathigiri Falls, located near Chikmagaluru, is a place that once held great natural charm and spiritual value, especially with its ancient temple nestled at the base of the waterfall. The temple, believed to be centuries old, still attracts a few visitors seeking solace and history. Unfortunately, the overall experience at the falls was disappointing and far from what we had expected. The waterfall itself is in a neglected state. The water was muddy and unclean, and there was a shocking amount of trash—especially old, discarded clothes—scattered all around the area. The place lacked any form of maintenance or cleanliness, which really took away from the natural beauty it could have offered. We attempted to climb to the highest point of the waterfall, hoping for a better view, but it turned out to be even more unsafe. The path was slippery and unhygienic, and we spotted several snakes along the way. It felt quite risky and uncomfortable, especially without any safety measures or proper signage in place. Given the current condition of Kalathigiri Falls, I would strongly recommend visiting Hebbe Falls instead. It's a far more scenic, cleaner, and safer destination where you can truly enjoy the beauty of Chikmagaluru without the disappointment. Kalathigiri has potential, but it seriously needs attention and care.

Kuduremukha Range

National park
Nature & Parks
Mountains
Kurinjaala Betta, located in the Kudremukh Range, is a lush mountain covered in dense rainforest. The peak stands at 1160m and offers strenuous hiking trails for visitors. Bhagavati Nature Camp provides easy access to this peak, with a 7km trek to the summit that requires a guide as per forest department norms. However, leeches are abundant along the path due to the forest canopy and thick/moist foliage.
Visited on 20th Oct 2024, Kurinjal is yet another beautiful peak among the Kudremukha Ranges, which is also an easy trek compared to other peaks. It's worth the trekking efforts, a must visit peak! Place is less crowded too. The path to the peak is just beautiful 💚 I would never forget the forest route trek while returning, will always cherish it forever. You will first get to see the magnificent Bhadra river flowing under the bridge, then you must trek in the beautiful forest covers. We spotted a Malabar giant squirrel 🐿️ and few endemic birds too. There are no eateries on the way/peak. So take water and packed food for lunch along with you. Trek: Total 14kms of trek for both ways. It took us 2.45 hours to reach the peak from the base point. We got a clear view of Gangadikallu from the peak, and the other side was full of fog. Difficulty: Trekking difficulty level is easy. Only the last 1km trek is steep. There were lots of leaches though. Permission: Please make a reservation on the Kudremukha website before starting the trek. You will get a mail, take a print copy of that along with aadhar card of each member. Submit everything in 'RFO Kudremukha' office. They will charge 450Rs/person and 1 guide is mandatory for a group of 10 people, worth 1k Rs. Then they will give you an ID card for each member, collect that and start trekking. Note: RFO Kudremukha office opens around 6.30am. They won't usually give the permission to trek post 11pm. So plan accordingly, don't be late. Enjoy the nature, please do not litter 🚯

This kurinjal trek is about 7km from the base point, the last 2km you are exposed to the green mountain ranges and the incline is steep at the last 1km. The view at the top you can see the kudremukha range of mountains. The trek is moderate carry enough water and food, you are not permitted to trek without a guide.

An absolute stunner of a trek — Kurinjal Peak is one of those places that reminds you why you love the outdoors. Located in Kudremukh National Park, this moderate-level trek offers a perfect mix of dense forest trails, open grasslands, and jaw-dropping views at the summit. The trail is well-marked and beginner-friendly, though you’ll break a good sweat by the time you hit the top. Once you’re there — totally worth it. Rolling hills, misty valleys, and endless green in every direction. You’ll need prior forest department permission and a guide (mandatory, since it’s inside a protected area), but the process is smooth and well-managed.

Best scenic route in western ghats of karnataka range . Will be lost in the mother nature . Kudurekukh has many trekking spots along with the beautiful waterfalls covering thick forest and lush green Graceland. This route will makes you to feel you are in heaven . And comes to the iron and ore mining there us a village in the kuduremukha township now has become a ghost town . It is clear message to the human being about the development activities in forest and hill station that natural will truely take over it's land if it is necessary can be seen in the ghost town . Do visit once and try to avoid carrying plastic and keep this range as beautiful as it is .

"5/5 stars! Recently trekked to Kurinjal Peak in Kudremukh and was blown away by the scenic views and rich biodiversity. The 12-14 km trek takes you through dense forests, grasslands, and rocky patches, offering breathtaking views of the Western Ghats. It's essential to book in advance through the online portal and obtain a copy of the ticket upon arrival. A guide is compulsory, costing around ₹1,000 for a group of 10 people. From the ticket office to the base camp, it's approximately 8 km, which can be covered using your own transport for ₹100. There's also a camera fee of ₹300 for DSLRs. One thing to note is that there are leeches present, so it's advisable to carry salt or Dettol to tackle them. We visited in June, which was challenging due to the rain, but the lush green landscapes and unique experiences made it a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. However, for the best experience, October to November is the ideal time to visit, offering clear views and pleasant weather. Moderately challenging, but totally worth it!"

Great place for a 1 day trek and it's very moderate for all types of people to enjoy. One drinking water point available while going and nothing after that. If we get a good weather it's a fantastic view from the top. The peak itself is very sharp and might look bit scary from distant, but not a big problem to reach there.

Visitors praise its great dosa and vegetarian-friendly options. If you're looking for a place to enjoy delicious Indian food, Town Canteen is a must-visit destination in Chikmagalur.
A highly reliable and super affordable place for breakfast in Chikmagalūr! They have a limited seating area and serve only South indian options. The dosa is super tasty 🤤 and the Upma was also too good! 😊 Highly recommended for breakfast! 🫶🏻👍🏻

If you're visiting Chikmagalur, then don't miss this amazing breakfast spot. Very delicious and budget friendly place. Must try benne masala dosa and filter coffee ☕
Thakshinamoorthy S — Google review
Town Canteen is a popular spot in Chikmagaluru, and it lives up to its reputation in many ways. Located in an easy-to-access area with good visibility, it’s a convenient stop for both locals and tourists. Though there’s no dedicated parking, you can easily park on the opposite side of the road, which works just fine. The service is quick and efficient, and the staff keeps things moving even when it's crowded. The consistently high ratings reflect the quality of the food – especially if you're looking for authentic South Indian flavors. The dosas here are a clear winner – crisp, flavorful, and probably some of the best you’ll have in town. On the downside, the masala vada was a letdown – very hard and dry, making it the weakest item we tried. The rest of the menu sticks to traditional tastes, offering a genuine South Indian experience. Tea and coffee are also available, rounding out the meal nicely. Add to that the fact that it’s budget-friendly, and Town Canteen becomes a solid choice for a quick, satisfying, and affordable South Indian meal.

We initially visited this place for evening snacks. However, they only had dosa items and we eventually ordered Butter Masala Dosa (1/2), which is basically a single dosa split into two. We wanted to try this as we hadn't seen this anywhere and were quite curious. The dosa was served with only chutney and surprisingly tasted very good. Kind of fills one's appetite. Based on this experience, we visited here the next day for breakfast. While we repeated the dosa, we also had an idli Vada with chutney and sambhar, chow chow bath along with tea and coffee. The dosa wasn't as good as the previous day in terms of crispiness but was good nonetheless. The sambhar served with idli wasn't sweet either, making it good. The chow chow bath was also good in taste. While they have limited menu, the taste is definitely a treat to your taste buds at an affordable price. They have a seating for about 50 pax. Overall the place was good. They accept UPI.

Stepping into Town Canteen felt like stepping into a slice of local history, a place that’s been buzzing in every foodie’s conversation. We made this our first stop for breakfast while on our trip around Chikmagalur, drawn by the legendary reputation that precedes it. The name alone carries so much weight in local circles that it felt almost mandatory to try it—and I’m so glad we did! The first thing that strikes you is the unmistakable hum of an early-morning crowd—chatter filling the air, stainless steel tables, and a simple but practical decor that speaks to its long-standing roots. The atmosphere inside is basic but functional, with straightforward seating and that charming South Indian canteen vibe. The floor showed some signs of wear, but the place still felt authentic and real, like a classic breakfast joint that’s been around forever. We ordered a spread of idli, vada, and dosa—including their much-talked-about crispy masala dosa—and of course, a round of filter coffee. The dosa lived up to its legendary status: golden brown, paper-thin, and delightfully crisp. Each bite had that satisfying crunch and a subtle hint of ghee, pairing beautifully with the fresh coconut chutney. The idli was soft, and the vada had that perfect balance of crispiness and fluff inside. The sambar was decent—though it could’ve been a bit more robust in flavor, it still complemented the meal nicely. I especially enjoyed watching the staff whip up dosas in rapid succession, serving them piping hot to several tables at once—adding to the lively, bustling vibe. It’s clear this place knows its strengths, and dosa is definitely their crown jewel. A small note: while the seating area was functional, it could have used a bit more attention to cleanliness, especially around the floor and the corners. It didn’t detract too much from the experience, but it did make me think twice about giving a full five stars. Overall, Town Canteen delivered a memorable breakfast experience, a testament to why it’s so beloved by locals and visitors alike. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to dive into an authentic South Indian breakfast with that unbeatable crispy dosa!

A timeless classic! This canteen has been around for over 50 years, and it truly feels like stepping into a warm, retro-era hug. Old-school charm, no frills with just pure comfort. I tried the dosa, and honestly, it was so good. There are very few places that get South Indian food right, and this one nailed it. Crispy, flavourful, and just perfect. I could have it for breakfast every single day. A hidden gem that keeps the old flavors alive!

My first ever vegetarian restaurant experience, and it happened right here in my hometown — which makes it even more special I tried the Masala Dosa and Coffee combo, and it’s an absolute must-try! The dosa was perfectly crisp with a deliciously spiced filling, and the coffee was rich, strong, and comforting — a classic South Indian combo done right. So glad to have discovered this gem locally. If you're in town and haven’t been yet, definitely give it a try! ❤️

North Indian restaurant
Maharaja Restaurant is a casual dining spot offering a mix of North Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisines. It's known for its delicious non-vegetarian dishes at reasonable prices with prompt service. The Mutton Biryani and wood-flavored chicken tandoori are highly recommended. While the ambiance may not be top-notch, the value for money here is great. The menu includes seafood, chicken, mutton delicacies as well as tasty vegetarian options.
This restaurant is best in Chikmagalur for tourists from all states, specifically Bengali people looking for good North Indian dishes. The restaurant is located on the base of hotel Galaxy Inn, Opp. Hotel Giri Inn. The menu here offers a wide variety of options and I can say, everything we tried was delicious. I specifically loved the creative twists of Mutton Rogan josh, Ghee rice, Butter chicken with butter nun, Chicken biryani at lunch. For dinner I tried their Chinese and they delivered in my hotel room. We received quite impressive Fried rice, Chilli chicken and Garlic chicken. They serve extremely tasty and proper North Indian and Chinese food. The restaurant has good sitting arrangements and the Price is also reasonable. Highly recommended for Bengali people visiting Chikmagalur.

Our experience at Maharaja Restaurant had its ups and downs. Be prepared for a wait — it took nearly 45 minutes to get a seat, and by then, the chicken biryani was already sold out. ✅We opted for the Hyderabadi Biryani Family Pack instead, but honestly, it was disappointing. The biryani was very dry, lacked proper masala, and didn’t have the authentic Hyderabadi taste. For any true biryani lover, this one misses the mark — 2/5 ⭐ ✅Pahadi Kebab - 4/5 ⭐ The Pahadi Kebab, however, was delicious! Tender and flavorful, it practically melts in your mouth. ✅Sweet Lassi - 10/10⭐ The real highlight here is the Sweet Lassi! It’s absolutely amazing, and worth coming back just for that. We loved it so much we ended up ordering four of them. ✅Buttermilk - 5/5⭐ Another standout item! Refreshing and perfect for quenching thirst — the ideal drink to balance the meal. Our total bill was around 800-1200/-, and we were informed that the wait time for biryani alone could be another 45 minutes. In total, expect to spend roughly 90 minutes waiting, so only go if you have the time to spare. Otherwise, grab a sweet lassi to go — it’s truly the star of the menu!

We saw the Google ratings and went mainly for the nati items around 3 pm. Unfortunately by then those items were all over and we ordered non veg thali which was Different in the sense that there was biriyani, ghee rice and white rice with chicken items but no vegetables or even dahi or papad. Portion size for the other ordered items was small also and the taste did not live up to our expectation.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a pure vegetarian restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations in every way. Being a vegetarian by choice, I often search for places where food is prepared with both authenticity and creativity, and this restaurant turned out to be an absolute delight. From the moment I entered, the ambiance gave a warm and inviting feel—neither too loud nor too dull, but a perfect balance of comfort and elegance that instantly set the mood for a memorable meal. We decided to try a wholesome spread that included Palak Paneer, Dal Makhani, Roti, and Veg Pulao. Each dish carried a unique flavor and stood out on its own. The Palak Paneer was the highlight of the evening. The spinach puree was creamy, mildly spiced, and rich in flavor, perfectly complementing the soft and fresh paneer cubes. It felt homely yet restaurant-style at the same time, striking that ideal balance which is often missing elsewhere. The Dal Makhani was slow-cooked to perfection, with a smoky and buttery flavor that lingered on the palate. It wasn’t overly heavy, which I appreciated, and it paired beautifully with both the soft, fluffy Rotis and the aromatic Veg Pulao. Speaking of the pulao, it was fragrant, cooked with the right amount of spices, and loaded with fresh vegetables that made it light yet satisfying. What made the meal even better was the portion size and presentation. Each dish was served in good quantity, enough to share, and plated neatly. The service was equally commendable—the staff was attentive, polite, and ensured that we felt comfortable throughout our dining experience. Overall, this restaurant is a true delicacy for anyone who loves vegetarian food. It doesn’t just serve a meal; it offers an experience filled with flavor, warmth, and satisfaction. I would definitely recommend it to families, friends, or anyone looking for authentic vegetarian cuisine that is both hearty and soulful.

I would rate thali 3/5. Taste was not that great and had to finish it because we had no option left. They need to improve the taste and the quantity was good. Gudbud tasted fresh and tasty. I really loved the icecream and the ingredients used in Gudbud. I would rate it 5/5. Gulab jamun was really really really delicious.

Great ambience. Yummy food. Good service. They have a service area next door that is totally worth trying. We stopped by one morning for breakfast. They had good music playing. Food took a while to come, as they were just opening up for the day and still setting things. But it was totally worth the wait. They also have good decor. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Chikkamagaluru. The ambience is excellent. This place is made out of a renovated old traditional Karnataka house. One will feel like he/she is sitting in a culture rich south Indian home with soft Carnatic music running in the background. Every corner of this place is decorated with old antiques from the byegone era of our grandma/grandpa. Me and my friends really loved this place. Well all the above praise matters only when the food is good. YES, the food items we ordered during bfast, dinner (Kaju masala, Baby corn starter, Gobi Manchurian, Paneer starter, Palak paneer dosa, Butter roti, Coffee, Banana Bajji) are hygienic and very tasty. The waiters here are very cordial and good customer service and satisfaction. Me and my friends were on a vacation to Chikkamagaluru and feel lucky to have visited this place. Little corridor has got a vintage feel to it. Everything here is well thought and nicely placed. They offer North and South Indian along with few Chinese dishes. The restaurant is vegetarian. Food tastes good here. Chef will modify upon your request. Service is quick. Good place for selfie lovers. They accept cards and wallet payments.

It is one of the best hotels I have ever seen in Chikmagalur. Even though it is situated in the busiest part of the city it gives a feeling of complete desi cultured home. Actually it is a house renovated as a hotel. Even the food is amazingly yummy..! It's specialty is dosa...it serves lot many types of dosa. It has both self service and service hall. The cost is also affordable :)

Ambience is very good. It is a vivid place where there is a darshini for quick eating (self service), a place to sit inside where you can relax and have food which is served nicely and two small party halls or you can call a meeting hall. The meeting hall is actually USP of the place. Looks like a traditional themed place where they have utilized ethnic, traditional items. Looking at the quality of food and service it is really gonna capture the market in Chikkamagaluru. It is a startup rather than a hotel and it feels like a promising one.

Amazing food and hidden nicely so not easy to spot. We ordered South Indian, North Indian and chinese. Each has the perfect taste for the dish. I was surprised to see such a nice place ti eat in Chikmagalur. Most go and would rate this as among the top places to Chikmagalur.

Our recent visit to this restaurant was quite disappointing. We ordered Butter Masala Dosa, Open Butter Masala Dosa, Puri, Chow Chow Bath, Pulav, and Plain Dosa. Out of all these, only the Puri was good. The Plain Dosa was shockingly small—finished in just 4-5 bites, which didn’t feel worth it at all. Hygiene was also a major issue, with cockroaches roaming around. The lack of hygiene was concerning, with cockroaches visible around the dining area and an open sauce bottle with visible fungus. The Pulav had zero taste and no salt, and when we asked to parcel the leftovers to give to the needy, they refused and threw it in the dustbin, leading to unnecessary food waste. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend this place. If you do go, the Puri is the only thing worth trying. It’s otherwise a waste of money for both quality and quantity. This place is definitely not recommended if you want to enjoy quality food and a clean environment. If you do go, the Puri is the only item we’d suggest. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for a better experience. (Don’t be fooled by the crowd—this restaurant was a big letdown.)

One of my go-to spots in my hometown — probably my third most favourite vegetarian restaurant! 💚 This place never disappoints. Whenever we’re not cooking at home, this is where we order from 🍽️☕️✨ Tasty, reliable, and super budget-friendly too 💸 — love having such a gem close to home! ❤️

Not atall a place to visit single or with family. Have visited this place many times before infact it's a must hotel to eat when at Chikmagaluru. After change in management it whole thing has changed. Service is very very poor and supplier behaviour was too rude and that too for a supposed family restaurant. They using dishes, spoons, plates and others which are too old. Furniture too dirty, highly recommend not to visit this hotel even though situated on busy road like MG road. Management team seems to be failed in maintaining old look and everything. Even on weekend Saturday night no customers but tried ,our old faith failed us.

We recently visited *Food Palace* the food was absolutely delicious 😋 and we dint get that bloated feel. Dip idly sambar and dip vada and Rava Idly must try items. We had Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner everyth

Worst experience ever! They are looting customers with high extra charges — charging a minimum of ₹5 extra for every cool drink bottle, calling it a refrigerator current bill. On top of that, the food container charges are unreasonably high. The food quality is below average, and the worst part — I ordered a Masala Dosa and found a hair on my plate! It was utterly disgusting and shows how unhygienic this place is. Totally careless, unhygienic, and money-minded management. Do not visit this place even once — you’ll definitely regret it! Zero maintenance even hand wash Tap is broken and everywhere I have seen lots of Cockroaches third grade, pathetic, most worst place i.e., Food Palace - Chikmagaluru

Trust me, The kitchen is cockraches infested, you will see lots of cockroaches if you notice properly. There are best of the best in town now with pure hygiene, dust is complimentary along cockroaches from drainage to kitchen

Awesome place, We visited on Monday afternoon when the staff was on leave. Owner was the only person doing all the work. He made us some tasty chicken platters and burgers were delicious. Owner was very helpful, humble and generous it was very nice to meet him. Overall great experience, kudos 👌😀

Like how Baba Budangiri brought coffee to Chikmaglur, the owner of Salpicon brought burgers to this town. Salpicon burgers bring nostalgia for AITians. My wife and I love their burgers. Glad that they're available on Zomato for serving online orders. First and best burger shop in Chikkamagalur. Try their Oriental burger.

Kanha Restaurant is a casual dining spot with a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. While the service may be slow due to limited staff, the quality of the food makes up for it. The Malai chicken is particularly recommended for non-vegetarians as it is soft and extremely tasty. Located on Indra Gandhi road, it offers easy accessibility. Dishes like chicken ghee roast and prawns ghee roast are highly praised for their taste, and the staff is known for being humble.

A casual place with good ambience and food. Very few staff, thus making service slow and taking a lot of tine. Service has much scope for improvement and should be faster. We found this place while taking a stroll around the area,as it was time for dinner. We ordered Chicken chilly n noodles, Well food is average taste for me,as I don't eat highly spicy food. Saw a pretty decent crowd hence me n my wife sat there. After a long wait if one hour we got our food The portion is OK to serve only one individual. It's tooo spicy for me, other's may have different opinion. Won't recommend it. Rest is yours choices. Rating,2/5👍

Pathetic and Delayed Service. It took 2 hours for them to serve. Bad service and the receptionist is not at all bothered about the same. Taste wise is good. Go only if you have 2 extra hours to spend waiting for your food! Also I was billed incorrectly. They have billed for 9 Baby Corn Manchurian instead of 1! Be careful and check the bill before you pay!

The worst restaurant in the city. They don't have any intention to serve food to their customer. They will tell you that Veg Starters will take 20-30 mins because we have to cut the veggies and all.. so they will try to convince you that you don't order that item. And on the other hand, they take 30 mins to cook Chinese food items. And just to give a bowl of curd takes 30 mins for them.. worst food service. Late service. Worst taste of food in the whole city. I would recommend you to eat food from street vendors rather then entering here in this restaurant. And most important I don't understand why owners keep restaurant name as "Kanha" when they are serving non-veg food in here. I personally feel that this is wrong.

Decent place. Large enough menu. Easy to deal wid staff. Food is good. I love the American Chopsuey here. Space is not quite enuf as a lot of ppl walk in. Washroom is a minute's walk from the restaurant, it's not in it. Decent music is played while u eat.

Very poor customer service..Need to work leaps and bounds to understand customer time and importance. We had been with families and made kids wait more than 45 mins and not ready to oblige for the inconvenience from their end towards customers. Experience with hotel staff was very bitter and had to go through on our holidays. Hope they realise and improve on Customer service.

Amazingly delicious food! Perfect service! Nice ambiance. Firstly, you should be self confident enough to send potentially beneficial clients to your competitors if you're not sure that you can satisfy their demands. Of course we came back because others were much more doubtful. Secondly, they can customize meals to suit your taste and meet requirements of your health. Finally, just enjoyed nice service! Special thanks to Ryan! Our order: aloo jeera, garlic naan, tandoori paneer hilltop, egg noodles, raithas cucumber and tomato, watermelon and lime juice, carrot halwa.

They are serving stale food. We were 21 of us who came for lunch on 31st of March 2019. None of us could have food. We ordered chicken biryani, veg fried rice, dal fry. Dal fry and veg fried rice was stale. The owner did not admit that the food was stale and billed us for everything that we had ordered. We had to throw away the food and went to another restaurant.

Wish I had an option to give a zero. Never take parcel from here. They very well know that the crowd who eats here are travellers. So, they cheat by reducing the quantity of the food and they compromise lot on food quality. What We ordered Chicken full - Promised boneless + 8 piece (180 rs) Curd rice What we got 4 piece half cooked old Chicken with bone Raitha mixed with white rice. The worst ever place for any traveller. It would've been a better place before. But, definitely not anymore.

Fantastic spot right in the vicinity of MG Road and the bustling bus stand. If you happen to visit Chikmagalur, then this is the cafe you can visit for some delicious pizzas and pastas. A nice place to hangout too, lovely ambience with few seating capacity. We tried veg pizza : I loved the topping and the base was not too thick so that's how i prefer my pizza. Veg pasta in Alfredo sauce : so this was delicious for sure but then the Alfredo sauce was missing. Thou it had sauce, it was not the white sauce. But it was healthier with loaded veggies 😋 🥕🥕 Overall the presentation, ambience and the service was good. Price is pocket friendly. Definitely recommend this cafe.

Cafe Agape is located on MG Road, Chikmangalur. The place has only few wooden tables. The menu consists of Pizza, burger, sandwiches and few coffee related drinks. We ordered the Garlic Bread which came in a oval shape. The Garlic Bread was topped with cheese and the taste was fantastic. We also tried the Verdure pizza which had olives, mushroom, brocoli, onion and capsicum. The taste was great as well. The taste are very earthy and natural. The items are baked at a very high temperature and sometime burns from the sides. We also tried their Frappe which was good.

Updated Review: We stopped again on a Sunday night for dinner enroute. Totally disappointed. Hardly 2 or 3 table had customers, only 2 staffs , slow service as usual, they forgot our vegetarian order had to remind, many items weren't available, biryani was too oily and mutton biryani was had more bones than meat, chicken pepper dry had hardly few pieces, n way too spicy. Only life saviour was chapati and mushroom masala. I don't think they look into any feedback written here, saw similar review from others too. --- Previous review This restaurant is within Blue Pearl hotel, on 5th floor - roof top. When we came for lunch, no one was there. Entered quite sceptical, but food was tasty and great. We ordered chicken tikka, chilli potato, mutton biryani, kaju pulav , fried rice and lemon tea. Everything was good and quite tasty. Pricing is at par with Bangalore cost but for ambience and quality/quantity looks reasonable. Plus..they got hot water in electric kettle, when asked 👍 One star reduced for service delay, had to remind to get pickle, they billed lemon tea but had to remind we never got it, then they got it. Asked ketchup for fried rice, they forgot ! This despite there were just 3 table had people. Not a big fuss. Happy overall

Utterly disappointed with the food served and service. Biriyani was too spicy and stained our hands with turmeric or food color. Took considerably long time to wash it off even with soap. Second dish was fried rice which was served without a sauce , and in middle of the service it was provided. Fried rice was bland and not up to mark. Third dish was vegetable salad which never came even after we mentioned while ordering. Service was slow and non attendive.

This is attached resturant to Blue Pearl, but have to bill on every meal and this won't get attached to room bill that can be paid all at once during check out. Food quality and quantity is fair, however quite costly when compared to other known restaurant of the city. It has wonderful view of city as it's located on top most floor. Kind and supportive staff, but remember to order well in advance as food as to be cooked specially for you

While some travelers have had past issues with customs officials from neighboring states, recent experiences have been more positive. The airport's scenic beauty is highly praised by visitors, with its unique tabletop design and a picturesque approach road.
One of the scenic airports in India Airport located on top of a hill, if you are not in a hurry you can drive through the roads slowly and enjoy the view while going up. Airport is pretty neat and small with easy access all across so no need to run to catch your flights. After seen massive airports, taking off from a small airport was a pleasant experience. Check in, security and so on are normal as in all airports But the crowd is less compared to bigger airports. Loved the location of the airport

Safety Standards: MIA was honored with the prestigious International Safety Award 2025, reflecting its high health and safety practices. Cons: Seating Capacity: During peak hours, especially with back-to-back domestic and international flights, seating can be limited, leading to overcrowding in waiting areas. Air Conditioning: Some passengers have reported that the air conditioning in certain areas, like the ground floor, could be more effective. Suggestions for Improvement: Seating Expansion: Increasing the number of seating arrangements in waiting areas to accommodate the growing passenger numbers. Enhanced Air Conditioning: Improving the air conditioning systems, particularly in high-traffic zones, to ensure passenger comfort. Overall: MIA is rapidly evolving into a modern regional airport, balancing growth with passenger comfort.
