Kongo Mosque

Mentioned on
6 lists
Mosque
The Kongo Mosque, located in the Kongo forests, is a unique and historically rich attraction. It is one of the oldest mosques on the East African coast and boasts original building structures and fittings. Designated as a national monument, it offers a serene setting with restrictions on alcohol, indecent dressing, and music. The compound features ancient baobab trees that add to its charm. Situated near Diani Beach, visitors can enjoy stunning views where the Kongo river meets the Indian Ocean.
Absolutely surprised by the incredibly beautiful improvement made to this very old mosque. The original construction is still intact and the external matches the original building quite well. The road too as been paved. Lots of people use the mosque grounds for accessing the beautiful white beach. The Kongo River washes into the ocean here. Definitely worth the drive from Mombasa.
Javed K — Google review
This is where the oldest Kongo mosque is found, and there is so much history about it(Alcohol is not allowed around the mosque's compound) The place also has a public beach area where you can chill and experience a sundowner cruise on a canoe.
Felistars W — Google review
Situated amidst ancient baobab trees where the Kongo River meets the Indian Ocean in Kwale County, South Coast Mombasa, the Kongo Mosque stands as a testament to the region's rich historical tapestry. Refreshing to pray on the white sandy beaches of Mombasa.
Natalie — Google review
Beautiful experience..clean environment one of the few remaining beaches where beach boys don't bother you.. definitely recommend for families.
Iftikhar O — Google review
Believed to have been built and used by early Arab merchants for prayers as they toured the East Coast in the 14th Century, Kongo Mosque is said to be the oldest mosque in Eastern Africa. No one knows the architect or even who exactly built the mosque, which was previously referred to as Diani Persian Mosque.
EFRAN — Google review
Had a short tour, guide was very brusque but knowledgeable. Not much to see. Beach next to it was lovely and we went on a great sunset boat tour from there. Wouldn't visit just for the mosque.
Jo M — Google review
Beautiful mosque built over 1000 years ago. The imam was lovely and showed me around. Peaceful place with sea breeze and view. Bring something small to donate as they don’t get much and need help with electricity costs and maintenance. If you stay in cheka villa on airbnb you can hear the athan from here. Lovely local people including fisherman with fresh catch
Curiosity J — Google review
One of the oldest mosques on the East African coast, set up against an unparalleled backdrop of dead-gorgeous white sand and emerald green ocean. A lot of the mosque's building structure and fitments are original, and it is gazetted as a national monument. Regardless of your faith, this is a must visit. No alcohol, indecent dressing or music allowed. The compound features baobab trees which have been standing for over a hundred years now. Several generations of visitors have etched names and dates on tree barks, done of which are legible and make for an interesting study. The Kongo River enters the ocean at this point, and is a must visit as well. Swimmers beware - the rip tides here are perilous, and a lot of people get pulled in by the current.

Diamonds Leisure Golf Club & Resort

Mentioned on
2 lists
Golf course
Diamonds Leisure Golf Club & Resort is a stunning 18-hole golf course located on a 38-acre beachfront property, offering breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. The resort also boasts a casino, spa, and outdoor swimming pool for guests to enjoy. Diani Restaurant provides an exquisite dining experience with ocean views. Visitors have praised the well-maintained fairways and greens of the golf course, as well as the challenging yet enjoyable layout with numerous bunkers adding to the excitement.
Very nice 18 hole golf course at the heart of Diani. The greens are up to standard and the fairways are well manicured. Very many bunkers though, adds to the fun. Very clean changing rooms and the club house has an awesome menu of both food and drinks
Joseph A — Google review
I only was at the golf course NOT at the Hotel. I would give the course 4 stars because it is well maintained and beautiful. It's quite challenging with long holes. But I got the feeling of beeing scammed, the prices are higher than on the website, ok maybe it is not up to date. But then when I rented the clubs, I didn't get any balls or tees and had to buy them separately for 400s/3$ per ball! And then they told my I must hire a caddy who pushes the trolley and gives me the clubs, it is mandatory or I couldn't play! This was not listed on the homepage. I wanted to have a nice quiet me time on my own pace. For all the extra and hidden costs only 2 stars!

Thank you Mr John David For being patient with us during the training season your way of teaching is awesome
Alice O — Google review
Nice ambience. Nice rooms. But like all big hotels that grow overconfident, it is the shitty service at this establishment that will bring it down. As you pack to travel to this establishment, make sure you pack your patience to deal with bottom of the barrel customer service.
Michael O — Google review
Wonderful beach experince, seefront view at a time of the year when the ocean is unsettled and wild.
Sigei K — Google review
The hotel is beautiful, has a beutiful private beach, the food was alright, I enjoyed it. There are 6 pools, that was fun. However I had some rough moments here. First I checked in the room at 6.40pm, 2.5 hrs after I got to the hotel. There some good rooms but the bustani rooms need renovations for a modern look(the washrooms are the worst), when crowded we felt yhe discriminative service (prioritizinh whites tourists), always a delay when requesting for sth. With that said, there's work to be done there as the hotel has potential.
Tinah K — Google review
Best place for holiday destination or even normal visit. Beach view is breathtaking

Despite arriving during closing hours, the staff were very hospitable to have us past hours. There was soft background music to soothe the ears and after the massage, went into the sauna. I left feeling very relaxed and a nice sensation throughout my body. Would highly recommend.

Diani Beach

Mentioned on
1 list
Beach
Outdoor Activities
Diani Beach is a stylish coastal resort area with crystal clear water and an abundance of palm trees and palapas. It is a popular destination for tourists seeking exotic, relaxing white sandy beaches lined with trendy eateries. Although the sea weed in some areas can be excessive during certain periods, there are parts of the sea that remain unaffected. The beach boasts fine-grained sand and provides an enjoyable experience to walk on during early mornings and late afternoons when temperatures are more pleasant.
White sand. Blue colors. Beautiful But: expect people trying to sell you things. And: it’s not the Mediterranean Sea. Swimming depends on tides, the wind and your confidence. But I love walking in the early morning. The shells are beautiful. It’s worth to spent some days here
Sabrina-paola — Google review
Beautiful beach for a relaxing walk as the tide goes out. Smooth sand, stunning views, and a peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Rumanveer D — Google review
Clean, big, beautiful ,white sand beach approx 50 km away from Mombasa. One can relax, take a walk, rest under shade, have beer & seafood etc.
Arun S — Google review
Diani beach is a really nice place to vacation. So many activities take place here such as camel riding, kite surfing, swimming among others. The ocean is calm throughout the day but the tides get stronger in the evening hours making it not safe for any activities.
Shalom K — Google review
One of the best beaches I have visited. Don't miss it if you ever visit the Kenyan coastline
Satinder S — Google review
What a spectacular beach, awesome authentic fun town and most of the people were very friendly and inviting. The Beach Boys can be very annoying especially when you just want to relax or go for a walk, but that challenging with having people approaching you and trying to constantly sell you things. The softest sand I have ever felt, beautiful beach and safe swimming area to enjoy.
Steve M — Google review
One of the best and cleanest beaches at the coast of Kenya
MOHAMMED W — Google review
Visit twice a year, stunning beaches, friendly locals, stunning wildlife, from transparent crabs, swordfish, turtle sanctuary and beach bars. Beautiful beach where you can enjoy a swim or a lovely walk without interruption

Art gallery
Art center
Almasi Art Agency is a captivating destination that immerses visitors in the enchanting world of African artistry. The name "Almasi," which means diamond, perfectly reflects the brilliance and beauty found within its walls. This gallery features an impressive collection of works from talented artists across various backgrounds, showcasing vibrant paintings, intricate sculptures, thought-provoking photography, and innovative mixed media pieces. Visitors are often guided by knowledgeable staff who share insights into each artwork and its creator, enhancing the overall experience.
Great place to give a visit 👍🏻 The art represented here is truly unique. And the owner Reuben is a really great guy, he gave me a small tour around with some bread description for each painting and artist
T R — Google review
Wonderful gallery, Patrick showed us around and gave us all the background information about the art pieces... For free! We ended up speaking about many other topics with him, it was a very nice encounter. Highly recommend!
Marie Z — Google review
Absolutely loved my visit here. The gallery has such a welcoming vibe, and every corner feels inspiring. The art pieces were stunning and so thoughtfully displayed—I found myself stopping longer than I expected at each one . Patrick was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone who loves art or just wants a calm, creative escape.
Francis — Google review
Almasi showcases some really fascinating African fine art from a carefully curated number of artists. We were shown around by Ruben who was very friendly and knowledgable about the pieces and artists they display. A really enjoyable and insightful experience in viewing and understanding the art and the artists behind the art. Well worth a visit, just make sure call or WhatsApp them at least 20 minutes before arriving.
Jordan P — Google review
Great space with a quality selection of art pieces. The gallery owner is also very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. Well worth a visit and would recommend to anyone visiting Diani, Kenya and looking to experience some fine African Art.
L F — Google review
10/10 experience. The reception was warm and welcoming. The owner really took us through every collection diving into the history and inspirations behind the artists and a time was had. Definitely reccomend for art lovers!! ❤️
Stephanie N — Google review
As an aesthete, I truly did enjoy my time here. It’s the only activity I managed to do during a busy work trip in Diani and it was worthwhile. Reuben’s passion and love for art is seen in how he takes time to talk about every art piece and the artists as well. The gallery hosts art pieces from both local and international artists which are also quite affordable. Would highly recommend for fellow art lovers as well as anyone looking into elevating their homes with exquisite art or getting souvenirs from Diani, Kenya.
Rachel — Google review
The gallery has a stunning array of work and as an artist, I'm glad to see African work on display on African soil. The pieces cater to a wide array of tastes. Almasi Art Agency should definitely be on your bucket list as you travel in Kenya and Diani! It's opposite Diani Reef hotel, so it's very easy to locate.

BoraBora Wildlife Park

Wildlife park
Absolutely loved it. We had 2 zebra's walking with us most of the way and fed the giraffes. The zebra's were walking around freely as was one ostrich. The Masaai were amazing and do a dance for you and show you how they live. The animals are well taken care of, you can see and feel that. There are not a lot of animals but well worth the trip for the zebra, giraffe and Masai experience. From Diani Beach (Baobab hotel) it only took us 15 minutes in a tuktuk.
M. M — Google review
Very competent staff, thank you for your assistance :) What I wanted was the opportunity to walk with a zebra or to hug a giraffe:) and I was not disappointed. It was easy for us to visit as we were staying in a nearby Neptune hotel
Barbara D — Google review
This is one of the best places if you want to meet giraffes, zebras, and other half-wild animals up close. The park offers guided tours, and you’ll also encounter a group of Maasai women who present beautiful handmade fabrics. The food took a little while before it arrived at our table – but anyone traveling in Africa knows that patience is an important quality here. It’s definitely not “McDonald’s” :-) All in all, a great stop for animal lovers and travelers who want to combine wildlife, culture, and relaxation in one place.
GetFound A — Google review
Avoid this place. It’s outrageously overpriced ($30 per person) for a disappointing experience. The guide sticks to you the entire time but shows little enthusiasm. Apart from feeding the giraffes, there’s nothing of real interest. The animals are in poor condition and confined to tiny enclosures. If you’ve ever been on a safari or even a proper zoo, this will feel like a waste of time. The so-called Maasai “boss” is only there to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. They even stage fake Maasai dance shows—ridiculous, considering the park isn’t even in a Maasai region. To top it all off, the guide ends the tour by having you sign the guestbook… conveniently placed right next to the souvenir stall. A cheap trick. In short: don’t go.
Hilloulin R — Google review
Very cool experience! Loved the tradition from the Masaa tribe and the cool animals that are both local and not local to Africa. Food was good but the menu could definitely get an upgrade. Overall, great experience.
NuMoney N — Google review
Very underwhelming. The female tour guide with the yellowish braids was extremely unfriendly and rude. She rushed us through the "tour" as if she had better things to do. The animal sanctuary was bland with only a handful of animals in a small area with a short forest trail where they've kept a pair of buffaloes which was the basis of the experience lasting longer than 10 minutes. What a waste of time.
FG — Google review
A fun few hours getting up close with some of Africa's famous animals. Feeding Giraffes as obvious highlight.
Jason C — Google review
Bora Bora Wildlife Park is an absolute must-visit! I recently had the pleasure of experiencing this incredible place, and I can't recommend it enough. The highlight for me was definitely the opportunity to interact with the animals. Getting to feed the zebras and giraffes was an unforgettable experience, bringing me closer to these majestic creatures. The park itself is well-maintained, and the staff are passionate and knowledgeable. Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast or just looking for a unique day out, Bora Bora Wildlife Park delivers an amazing experience. With love Farruha

Bora Bora Wildlife Park & Luxury Tented Camp

Hotel
Nature preserve
Restaurant
Wildlife park
A Wonderful Experience! Bora Bora Wildlife Park is truly a hidden gem! I was impressed by how well they care for rescued animals—it's clear the animals are loved and looked after properly. The rooms were clean, cozy, and surrounded by nature, making our stay peaceful and relaxing. The staff were kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Highly recommend visiting if you love animals and want a calm getaway! 🤩
Raju D — Google review
We only visited the wildlife park. It was my third time there and honestly, I was disappointed this time. First of all, they have increased the entrance fees from 20 to 30 USD for non-residents. On our previous tours we started with feeding the ostriches, this time we only saw them behind the fence. We got to see the different birds like turkey, Nile geese etc. Next was the zebras where we could take photos. The Maasai dance and to look inside their house was next but then we felt very much under pressure to buy items from them. Compared to the prices outside also very expensive. After that came the crocodiles and then straight to the Digos' dance which we refused because also they are only after support by buying their items. Then we went for the buffalos inside the forest and from there we got to feed the giraffes. End of the tour. My opinion: Bora Bora is not worth going there anymore.
Birgit G — Google review
Bora Bora Wildlife is a hidden gem for families ... a place where kids can experience the magic of nature up close. From the fresh air to the peaceful surroundings and the incredible wildlife, it's the perfect escape from screens and city noise. A beautiful reminder that the best memories are made outdoors.
Vanatte M — Google review
Our visit to Bora Bora Wildlife Park was short but memorable! We were greeted with a warm welcome by Brian, who gave us a quick but engaging tour of the park. He showed us the zebras, tortoises, and crocodiles, and then personally escorted us to the highlight of our trip – lunch with the giraffes! Dining alongside Kwale the giraffe was a unique and truly fun experience. Our waiter, Ahmed, was polite, attentive, and even added some humor by throwing in a few words in Polish, which made the whole experience even more entertaining. A lovely stop – wish we had more time to enjoy it all!
Maria B — Google review
We had a lovely experience with the family, spent hours in this lovely place. Lilian the guide was very friendly, she made our experience exceptional. However the bars selection wasn't acceptable that didn't effect our experience as we went for a different purpose. The animals are lovely, the place is beautiful. Deffinitely will recommend for my friends and customers.
Zsolt H — Google review
Felt like a mini Maasai Mara right in Diani! We had an amazing tour through the park, getting up close with the animals was such a unique experience. I’m definitely coming back for the camping next time. Can’t wait to dine surrounded by wildlife again! Beautiful setting, great vibes! highly recommended for anyone visiting Diani!
Susan M — Google review
It was such an amazing experience. The service was great and the environment so beautiful. I would recommend you add this place to your itinerary whenever you are in Diani.
Wendy J — Google review
Everything is overpriced. Extremely expensive food for very little portions. Certainly not recommended. Good spot to watch some animals near Diani, certainly not to compare with any safari trip.

Waterpark Diani Splash Kids

Water park
Diani splash kids 🌊💦 waterpark, is located in front of the Neptune hotels 🏨 in Diani- Galu Beach ⛱️. There is an adventure playground for children here. Guided quad tours into the hinterland are also offered here to visit places that tourists don't normally get to. There is also a great restaurant with a very extensive menu. From pizza to fish dishes and steaks to ice cream, there is everything that makes the gourmet heart beat faster. One or more trips here are highly recommended.
Roberts L — Google review
Good place for the kids just a short walk from the beach. Drinks were OK and the food was nice but we payed more than was advertised on the menu for some reason and didn't notice until after we left.
Nick B — Google review
Great for kids, well set up water park and play areas.
Edward K — Google review
Very dangerous place, slippery with many sharp edges kids can hit and have serious injuries if they fall on them especially if them hit them with their heads which can really happen easily. Most slides are also dangerous, with not enough water at the exit, so kids hit the floor and get hurt. No supervision in the water... and I was charged because I followed my 4 years old son around the water to prevent these potential injuries. To avoid at all costs for the sake of the children. This place should be completely refusbished or closed down for safety reasons.
Jérémie L — Google review
Very disappointing experience. The slides are very dangerous. We had to leave after 10 minutes as both our children got hurt on almost every slide. The pool edges are too close to the slides. The slides look like they are for parks but not for water. The staff at first did nothing and would not refund then offered compensation with other activities which is they could not deliver. Children were very upset.:(
Sian S — Google review
Poorly constructed slides. Bad hospitality. Undercooked food.
Joan C — Google review
Diani splash kids was one of the worst water parks I have ever seen. There were so many injuries occurred. I highly recommend not going there. And those slides are not ment for water.

Pilli Pipa Dhow Safari

Boat tour agency
SCUBA tour agency
Pilli Pipa Dhow Safari is a highly recommended water safari company in Diani, offering an exceptional excursion to Wasini Island and Kisite Marine Park. The experience begins with professional and friendly service from hotel pick-up to drop off. The crew is attentive and accommodating, ensuring that all guests, regardless of snorkeling experience level, have a great time exploring the marine environment. The highlight of the trip is the delicious local lunch served on board.
I've been waiting to do this trip for a while, and it was worth the wait! Had a great reception at their booking office, and the team was on point in the pick up, tour, lunch, and drop off. As a proud Kenyan, this gave me a deep appreciation of what our country has to offer. Captain Athuman and the crew of Siriani, George, and Calvin were wonderful. It was the first time I went snorkelling, and they were patient and practically held my hand for the 1st part of the session. Later, I became confident, and I was able to navigate the reef comfortably. We got to swim with dolphins and watch them play along with a puffer fish. Incredible! Lunch was great, too. Thanks for a memorable experience, can't wait to do this with my daughters when they're older. Bless. Keep up the great work and take care of the crew- they're really wonderful at what they do.
Daniel M — Google review
The team/crew was responsive and went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. They were especially helpful during the snorkeling session, offering support when I struggled with swimming. The team’s friendliness and kindness stood out, making the experience even more memorable. We had the pleasure of watching dolphins and snorkeling with an incredible variety of marine life, including batfish and octopus. I highly recommend this experience for anyone seeking a fun and safe adventure! I was excited to visit the Slave Cave and learn about its history. Unfortunately, during the tour, some foreign visitors couldn’t handle the heat and had to leave the cave, which disrupted the experience. The tour guide had to pause and escort us out midway through sharing the cave’s story. I found this situation to be a bit disrespectful to both the local people and the guide. It would be helpful to inform visitors beforehand about what to expect, so they can decide if they wish to enter the cave. I do appreciate the patience and understanding shown by the tour guide throughout the situation.
Jasmeen — Google review
This dhow tour operator is not suitable for families with children. The captain and crew let other passengers smoke onboard, even unwilling to intervene after complaining that the children are seasick. I addressed our concern to manager Yatin at lunch, but he just waved us away. Smoking on a boat / public vessel is probably even against the law in Kenya. Very disappointing. My reply to your reaction: Your Dutch owners are welcome to contact me directly, so I can help them get the facts straight. I can explain that I first spoke to Mohamed, then to the captain when smoking continued. Finally I spoke to the other passengers directly, and that a complaint was made to management through our agent still during the trip. Secondly, I can explain that they were not vapers - not sure why it’s relevant, but since you bring it up. Anyway, thanks for confirming that you encourage smoking on your vessels. And thanks for confirming you blame people feeling nauseous for not getting medicine beforehand - that’s very helpful when on a boat on the middle of the sea - instead of trying to make passengers more comfortable. It’s all families need to know when considering booking a trip with you. I could write about the snorkeling and lunch, but the whole experience was ruined by your poor smoking policies and bad customer service.
Peter-Jan A — Google review
A crew of 5 members took us out on a boat to visit the marine park. They were super friendly, got us snacks and drinks for the whole trip. They brought us into the water savely and kept asking if all is good. After the snorcheling, we had food on a spot, where i got the most authentic food i was able to taste while in kenya. All i tried was delicious. I would recomand it
Sabine M — Google review
Amazing day trip snorkeling. Also the food was absolutely amazing, we were not expecting such a high level of quality food. Surpassed our expectations!
Carlota M — Google review
The Wasini island trip was highlight of our trip to Diani. Saw loads of dolphins on the boat ride. Snorkeling was excellent. Saw turtles and many colourful fish. The boat boys were super helpful with our young daughters going snorkeling. The crab lunch was the best meal we had in Kenya, fact!
Charles S — Google review
There are many show excursions to Wasini island and they basically all offer the same itinerary. I can’t compare Pilli Pipa to any of these as I’ve never been on any other of these trips. However, I can say I was very happy with Pilli Pipa. From the hotel pick-up to drop off, everyone was professional, friendly, and attentive. For the snorkeling, all levels of experience were accommodated and the snorkeling was excellent. The highlight though was the lunch. The food was prepared and presented with great care and was absolutely delicious. I’d totally do this again.
Mina G — Google review
A fantastic day out, beautiful snorkeling sights where you are basically in a giant aquarium and we were lucky to have 3 dolphins swim with us. A great tasting lunch as well. Highly recommended

Bar
Nomad Beach Bar & Restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere with a refined setup and pleasant ocean breeze, making it ideal for larger groups. The food portions are generous, carefully plated, and received high praise. While some felt the cocktails could be improved, there is a wide selection of wines and spirits available. The service is top-notch with friendly and professional staff. Guests enjoyed the calamari rings, fresh crisps, local Swahili flavors, and an array of mixed drinks.
We had such a wonderful time here! The food was delicious — the pizza especially was amazing. Sitting by the ocean with that beautiful view made everything even better. The staff were so kind and welcoming, which really made the experience special. Can’t wait to come back!
Ghada A — Google review
Came to Nomad for lunch whilst staying 10 minutes up the road. I ordered the chicken katsu sandwich and my wife had chicken skewers. The food was amazing, my sandwich came with fries and was a meal. Portions were perfect. The quality of the food was superb and reasonably priced. The location is idyllic. Looking out over the ocean as the tide was on the way in just showed off the 50 different shades of blue there seemed to be. The only reason I knocked a star off was that our waiter wasn’t too bothered about service. Other waiters were cheery and bang on, I just think ours may have been having an ‘off’ day but that’s shouldn’t by any means put you off going. It’s worth it, just for the view! Try to time it so you’re there at low tide or as it’s on the turn because when it’s fully in it’s a bit rough so for those Gram/ TT pics, go when it’s out and the colours are amazing.

The food and service were great. We had the sushi platter for one and the grilled fish platter, all tasting really good. Waiter are fun and attentive, great job! Location is by the sea, so we had a lovely lunch.

The concept is good for guests who want to use the beach and water sport facilities. An adult pays KES 1500 and ChilD KES 500/- . The paid amount is then redeemable against the food and drinks ordered at the restaurant. Restaurant has continental menu, good spread. Quality of food was good. The beef burger is a must try. Everything here is over priced. An Americano single cup will cost KES 600/- Service at kitchen and bar is slow. Our waiter was not the best, he was rude and pushed us to order quickly. Your belongings are safe and a table or bench can be booked per group. Showers, toilet very clean and maintained.

Nomad Beach Bar and Restaurant has a nice setting, but the service was extremely slow and disappointing several times. We ordered a few drinks and it took more than 45 minutes to prepare twice although the restaurant was not busy. The smoothie was more a juice and the lime juice was warm and not good. So we decided not dine at the restaurant but instead order the food directly to our villa at the hotel. This was a big difference - with everything being nice. I would recommend to maintain the same standard of service even if a guest is not staying at the hotel.

The restaurant is in a great location, accessed through a jungle right on the beach. The menu has a wide selection, the cuisine is international. The food was delicious, but nothing special. The service was not friendly at all, the prices are quite high.

The setting is unparalleled: gorgeous ocean views from comfortable benches if sitting on the terrasse. Food is ok, nothing to write home about and comes at premium prices. I liked my salad but quality & quantity did not quite match the price, although I think I ordered one of their better value offerings (seafood salad). Also why is a cappuccino 600 kes? I would truly recommend management to review this: everywhere else in diani, you had a quality cappuccino/latte for 350 kes max. Next time I will go for a cocktail, light bites and the views. Service was very attentive and friendly 🙂

Very delicious seafood platter, and large size plenty enough for 2/3. It had so much , squid, crab, lobster, octopus, fish, prawns and more ! Service was great too. Nice outdoor patio seating. Passion drink was good also.

The view was stunning ,nothing beats dining right by the ocean. I ordered the steak and fries, and it was simply amazing! The steak was juicy and well-seasoned, and the fries were crispy and delicious. The service was great too ☺️friendly and prompt. Perfect spot for a relaxing meal by the sea. Highly recommend!

A must visit if you are staying at Diani. The restaurant offers great views of the ocean, stunning palm beach setting and incredibly yummy food. Service was the best I've received at Diani. I tried the taffi fish and ugali with spinach.

Absolutely the best place at Diani! The atmosphere is great, the stuff is friendly and helpful, the view is magnificent and food is super delicious! We came here by accident and returned 3 times as we haven’t found anything better! Especially recommended: grilled octopus, seafood chowder, grilled vegetables. Spaghetti is great for the kids (the portion is enormous, two kids can easily share). And the total hit - chocolate milkshakes! We couldn’t resist ordering it each time ❤️ Great place, highly recommended!

We can highly recommend the Asha Bistro. We spent here almost every evening during our stay in Diani Beach. We tasted different options from the menu, everything was great prepared and delicious. Friday BBQ night was a great experience. Friendly and very helpful staff (thank you for helping us arrange new flight tickets). P.S sorry for drinking almost all of your white wine, it was delicious 😅

Restaurant
This restaurant, Leonardo's Restaurant, is highly praised for its dog-friendly policy and excellent customer service. The owner is known for being kind and attentive to both customers and their pets. Children and pets are given great importance here. The staff is friendly and provides top-notch service. The food is delicious, with the chef's special pork pizza being a standout dish. Located in Diani, the restaurant offers a beautiful dining experience that leaves a lasting impression on visitors.
Went there for dinner on New year's eve and after New year's. Despite the place being very busy the owner promptly welcomed us and got us the best seats in the house for smokers 😄 We were pretty hungry so we had pizza, lasagna and pork chops and 🍸 cocktails. The food was so tasty and fresh, the service was great! The drinks were strong I was definitely a lot tipsy when leaving. 🤗 Also my first time having a sorbet and it was yummy 😋 My first experience made me visit again. Definitely a must go every time I'm in Diani.

We had the pleasure of dining at Leonardo's Restaurant in Diani this past Sunday night, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the ambience — elegant, intimate, and thoughtfully designed. As classical and opera music fans, the choice of classical background music was absolutely electric and elevated the entire evening. The restaurant features charming cubicles made of high-quality mahogany, with beautiful finishes and cozy red cushions and pillows. These private spaces are perfect for those looking to enjoy a quiet, personal moment during their meal. The service was exceptional. We were served by Linda, who was not only incredibly friendly and professional but also highly knowledgeable about the menu. Her attentiveness made us feel so welcomed and at ease. Even the boss made rounds checking in with guests to ensure everything was perfect — a lovely touch that made us feel truly valued. Another unexpected highlight was the antique-style bathrooms — a nostalgic and stylish element that added to the charm of the place. The prices were very fair, especially considering the quality of food, service, and the overall experience. I highly recommend Leonardo’s to anyone visiting Diani. It’s more than just dinner — it’s a memorable experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the Best in Diani – Leonardo’s Italian Restaurant Leonardo’s is easily one of the best restaurants in Diani. The whole experience was smooth and enjoyable — the food came out quickly, was delicious, and though the presentation wasn’t overly fancy, it was still clean and appetizing. The restaurant is spacious, well-run, and has a professional yet relaxed vibe. You can tell the team knows what they’re doing. And despite the high standards, the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Italian food, efficient service, and a great dining atmosphere in Diani.

Leonardo’s is a multi-generational Italian gem in Diani that truly delivers an exceptional dining experience. The thoughtful and efficient restaurant design creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the service is just as impressive. Our waitress, Purity, was fast, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food? Simply outstanding. The pizza has a light, airy thin crust that’s perfectly done, paired with a rich pomodoro sauce and superb homemade mozzarella. The toppings are fresh and high-quality, rounding out an authentic Italian flavor. The homemade gnocchi was an absolute delight—soft, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. And let’s not forget the tiramisu, which was the perfect way to end the meal: creamy, well-balanced, and indulgent. Roberto and his team have created something truly special here. If you’re in Diani, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine. Bravo! 👏🏽

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in Diani. We ordered thin crust vegetarian pizza and mushroom soup, which were probably among the best we've ever had. The owner is from Italy and was very kind, arranging for a nice song by the staff for my wife's birthday. The ambience is nice and relaxed. Would recommend to all!

Came here for the First time through recommendations from friends . Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the awesome veg foods on offer . Very friendly service and ordering the foods was fast and served hot and in time. Beautiful ambience and the location in diani is awesome. Easy to reach to with ample parking in front of this Resturant. Open air Resturant which added to a more relaxing experience while having the scrumptious foods . Highly recommend this place to anyone while in Diani. You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful place with some ambivalences. I was there for lunch and had Spaghetti Carbonara - it was a great quality and good service. So I reserved for dinner. For dinner I ordered Chicken Souvlaki Skewers with GREEK salad, Tsatsiki and Chips. This meal was really poor and small as it is ment to be one of the signature dishes in this house. It came with a very small poor salad, nothing Greek - no cucumber no tomato no onion no feta cheese, the skewers where small and the chicken meat was cold and not from the breast but just some small cut pieces from any part of the chicken with parts of gristle. The Tsatsiki Sauce was also very very small and not really made by yoghurt, but Tsatsiki is the signature thing for Souvlaki. The chips where acceptable. I complained and the waiter brought me a so called greek salad in a size of a very small ketchup side bowl. So all in all - as the owners are Europeans - this plate to announce it in the menu as a main dish Chicken Souvlaki is completely UNACCEPTABLE. I just let it be because I was hungry and didn't want to stress my date partner - by the way her plate was even bigger from reasons I don't know and as a guest it's not my work to consult this business. So to the OWNERS - if you not want to ruin your restaurant - check the quality of your chefs and your words in the menu please !

Overall this place was awesome. We made the mistake of ordering a salad but everything else was perfect. This restaurant is very nice and elegant, so you see that in the prices. But it was a nice change to sit somewhere clean and comfortable. Staff was VERY friendly and welcoming. The restaurant accepts visa. We ordered the spinach ravioli and a caesar salad. The Caesar salad was not good. It had a weird mayo dressing and soggy lettuce (see picture). But the ravioli was amazing. Small portion but amazing. Even though our salad was bad, we’d definitely go back here. Also, local fishermen are trolling for yellowfin tuna this time of year (July), so I’d definitely go back and try something tuna/fish.

Tiki Bar is a charming spot with a great atmosphere and friendly service. The menu offers a mix of local and international dishes, sometimes with a fusion twist. The Belgian owner is known for being welcoming and accommodating. While the food is generally good, there have been some inconsistencies in the portion sizes and menu items. Despite this, patrons can enjoy delicious options like grilled calamari, octopus, fresh sashimi, soups, stews, and Thai dishes.
I was surprised how food was good. Green curry was amazing and delicious. Chips crunchy and good, served with mayonnaise and salad. I recommend!

The restaurant had been re-vamped since I was last here a few years ago and they have done a really good job. The food is still excellent and it was served quickly and looked good on the plate. Most importantly it tasted delicious. Recommended.

Pretty chill spot right by the road. The food was well presented and served within 20 minutes. I enjoyed their drinks selection and their prices were fair given the location. Also the staff are warm and helpful in helping decide what to eat.

Very Nice atmosphere. We opted to take away chicken and the service was good. The chicken was big and tasty, chips masala was well prepared. We went back to Tiki bar for a take away but this time we decided to have a drink as we wait. The service was good but the kitchen had so many missing items on the menu. We ordered king prawns and we were severed small prawns at the cost of king prawns. After complaining they added a few more baby prawns which was not still worth the price. The Thai curry did not taste like it at all. The tacos are a tiny bit portion. Tipp: Order the take away 2hrs in advance depending on the rush hour. Tiki bar is right infront of the road side which makes it easy for drop off. Give them a chance In General it’s a good spot.

I have to so many places but TIKI carries the day. The food was amazingly presented and very fast service. The 8 were very helpful and always on-site to make sure we were taken care of. They have a variety of cocktails and a good ambience especially if you are working. They have power sockets around that make it so easy to work while enjoying mai tai and the food, the FOOD, was really delicious and good. I would highly recommend it for solo, group or business travellers. I will definitely go back!!! Ooh , and they do delivery and house call by the way.

Good restaurant & bar. The food (octopus) was good, but a bit "fatty", also vegetables were just a few on the place. French fries looked "tired". Cocktail was OK, however it does not seem to be a proper margarita. Service is a bit slow and you need to call waiter yourself, has to be improved.

It is a very nice place with friendly host. We had a little chill there with my boyfriend. Drink some cold beer and eat the special of the day. It was a taco with tuna and a taco with calamari and some extras like been, guacamole, french fries. Teasty and fresh. They have in menu some nice Thai dishes. This place was recommendet by a hotel guest and I recommend it to you now 😉😊 Bon appetit. Joanna from Poland.

Fast food with slow service The food quite good and tasty. A lot of fries. Nothing exceptional. Service as everywhere in Diani-slow, some mistakes: starters was survived with main food; one main food was served too late, when other people from company already eat their. Sails Beach Bar & Restaurant

Restaurant
Sails Beach Bar & Restaurant in Diani offers a warm welcome and delicious food, making it advisable to book ahead. The location right on the shoreline provides a relaxing ambience with the sound of waves adding to the tranquility. The well-presented and flavorful dishes, such as coconut prawns, calamari, crab au gratin, and Zanzibar snapper, make for a delightful dining experience.
Food is amazing with great taste and amazing fusion. Staff were helpful and assisted where they could. But food taste is amazing. Must place to go
Imtiaz D — Google review
I had a very disappointing experience at Sails in Diani Beach on December 28th. I ordered the salad, which was mediocre at best—nothing special and definitely not worth the price. My friend had the crab spaghetti pasta, and it was completely bland—lacking flavor, seasoning, and the richness you’d expect from a dish featuring crab. Another friend at the table ordered the crab gratin, which was also disappointing. It lacked flavor and had a texture more like baby food than a well-prepared dish. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff and manager. When we raised our concerns politely, the staff seemed indifferent, and the manager flat-out refused to take the crab spaghetti off the bill. They insisted it was “not fair” to do so, even after we explained how poor the quality was. There was no apology or effort to make things right—just a dismissive and unprofessional attitude that soured the entire meal. For a restaurant with such a reputation, this level of poor food quality and bad customer service is unacceptable. Subpar dishes might be forgivable if the staff showed care or professionalism, but this experience left us feeling dismissed and disappointed. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend it to others looking for good food or decent service.

Cozy little restaurant right by the beach at Almanara hotel. Parking is on top of a gentle hill which you’ll have to walked down of to get to the restaurant. If you’re used to the warm weather in Diani, you might want to bring something light to cover yourself with as it can get a bit windy. They have different menus for kids and vegans (just ask). A wide selection of wine and the waiters can help you choose if you have a tough time picking something out. Took a friend to celebrate her birthday and we had the Zanzibar cashew chilli fish. First time I’ve had fish that’s both sweet and chilli, not sure how I feel about it so will definitely be back to try it again!

A beautiful spot on Galu Beach with some of my favourite dishes - the carpaccio (tuna or beetroot), smoked sailfish and steak. The desserts are consistently delicious. Great service and the yummiest Espresso Martinis! Couldn’t recommend Sails more✨

The place is exclusive and amazing. It has few tables, the service was friendly and attentive. The food was delightful and the portions very filling. The beach front is breathtaking. A five star experience! This is the place to be.

Had the grilled fish with tomato and mango salad. Fish was grilled just right. The pairing with mango seemed odd but it was perfect. The dessert (brownie with ice cream) was good, but the main meal was better. The views of the beach from the restaurant were amazing, that area of the beach is one of better spots along the coast line. Beautiful! Excellent food combined with good service and views make this restaurant a must visit in south coast of Mombasa. One important note: you have to have a reservation to go in no matter the time of the day.

Very nice food and pina colada in a lovely setting (we went for lunch). Beware - mixed seafood platter is huge. Personally I think it would work better for 2 people to share (at least if you have European appetite!). At the very least I recommend skipping the starter if you're planning to order this.

The Havana Bar in Diani Beach offers a delightful dining experience with an incredible breakfast that will leave you coming back for more. The ambiance is pleasant, creating a nice atmosphere for a visit. Despite some minor issues with the service, such as incorrect orders and long wait times, the overall experience is still worthwhile. If you find yourself in Diani, this bar is definitely worth checking out. The service team is friendly and cheerful, ensuring that you have a great time while enjoying their excellent food.
This is a great bar restaurant! It has a nice ambience and you forget that you're sitting in a car park. The menu is small, but has good options and everything coming out of the pizza oven was great. A good beer menu and the prices were cheaper than other bars. Recommend.

I've been here many times the past years. This will most likely be my last visit. Everything has changed here as far as customer service. For the price you pay one would think you would be greeted with a smile at least. That is not the case anymore. All the servers appear to hate their jobs or hate being here at least. The bartender is the only person who appears to know what's on the menu. The food portion has gotten very small. Definitely the portion don't fit the price. Maybe there needs to be a major change in management and training for the employees. I ordered the seafood starter it was very salty and over cooked. My wife ordered chicken wings which were very small. No one bothered to check or ask if we needed anything else or how was everything, or how was the food. They never returned to our table once despite us wanting to order drinks. Finally , we gave up even trying to get someone's attention. Now I can clearly see why on a Friday night it was not crowded at all compared to former years. Disappointed and Highly Shocked Havana.
Selassie J — Google review
I have eaten at this establishment a couple of times so I am convinced that good service here is wanting. They seem complacent that they will always have people come to eat so why bother being efficient. Food quality is average. Atmosphere is okay but important to note for non smokers; is that smoking in the open air restaurant is allowed so you might have smoke drifting your way while you’re taking your meals.

I've never had better pancakes with ice cream and syrup. The only downside is that they allow smoking there, so those who don't smoke or those with children might not like it there.

Ristorante Pizzeria Da Aniello

$$$$affordable
Italian restaurant
Restaurant
The Margherita pizza at Ristorante Pizzeria Da Aniello was delicious and the owner excels at crafting authentic Italian pizzas. The crust is thin yet flavorful, and it is prepared quickly, which is appreciated. They also serve tasty pizza bread chips as a starter. However, some may find the price of 750 rupees for the Margherita pizza to be expensive. The restaurant has a charming theme that combines local and Italian elements, creating a unique atmosphere.
Very tasty pizza and raviolli, the owner is always on the places and puts the arms on the pulse controlling the processes, the result of his work tastes in an amazing food.

I had a Margeretta pizza in this restaurant a month ago. It was not tasty. The baked seafood spaghetti was horrible.

Friendly staff, nice seating area. We prefer pizza napoletana over theirs (rather thin crust), but the flavors made up for it.
Renáta B — Google review
The service was exceptional—some of the best we've ever experienced. However, the property itself looks quite run-down, and the prices feel high given the current condition of the facilities.
Victor M — Google review
How can you run Italian restaurant and serve not Italian pizza? Pizza was ok, but that was not Italian style. Waiters were staring at me and it looked like they were talking about me, which made me feel uncomfortable sitting there. I saw a giant cockroach in the toilet! Other than that, they ordered a tuk tuk for me, thanks for that.
Travel_Love — Google review
Ok food, no credit card option, no airflow in the outside seating area. Positives: polite servers and it seems like as authentic an Italian restaurant as you’d expect to find in Diani, with the owner sitting at his permanent table sharing a drink with one of his buddies from the old country. Negatives: no airflow through the seating area, cannot pay by credit card - maybe not any cards because the reason given was ‘no machine’, lots of noise from the road, holes in the table cloths. Average food. Going in it felt like we were entering an Italian oven. The yellowish semi-transparent tarps which serve as the roof bathe the dining area in a sweat inducing ambient warm orange light. Combined with the fact that only half the fans were working, it made for a rather tiring experience. The side facing the road is all open while the more quiet ends of the seating area were covered by a very tight lattice with small holes which didn’t let much air pass. We also learned that pepperoni in Italian means green pepper - not the typical slightly spicy sliced sausage which normally adorns a classic pepperoni pizza 🍕. When they brought the green pepper pizza there was some confusing discussion about what the problem was before then took it way and added the pepperonis we expected to see. (I’ve since read up on this and this must be a problem at every Italian restaurant around the world. Probably worth a note in the menu to avoid further confusion. I was surprised to find out I couldn’t pay by credit card. Just had enough cash and mPesa to cover the bill 😬

The Salty Squid Beach Bar & Restaurant is a popular gem on the Kenyan coast, known for its professional and friendly staff, great vibe, and stunning decor. It's advisable to make advance reservations due to its popularity during the holiday season. The restaurant offers a fabulous dining experience with options for vegetarians and vegans. Situated on a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach in Diani, it's a must-visit for every visitor.
Everything was gorgeous the food was amazing and the cocktails even better but the reason for the 3 about the atmosphere was due to the couple smoking at the next table to us which was annoying when you're trying to eat. Hello just because you have a cigarette behind you, doesn't stop the smoke from blowing in my direction, just stop until I'm done eating.

The Anchor restaurant is a fantastic establishment, located amidst several private residences with a stunning view of its own secluded shoreline. It boasts a pleasant ambiance and serves dishes that are beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The staff members are amiable, and while the seating capacity is limited, walk-ins are usually accommodated for breakfast and lunch, although dinner reservations are necessary.
🍽 Dined there three times now and ordered numerous dishes from their menu. The Butter Chicken was sublime accompanied with their delectable naans. Prawn masala curry 🍛 was delicious but their beef 🍔 burgers were arguably the best I have eaten at a restaurant. Char grilled to perfection👌 . Service was excellent too along with the ambience

Anchor truly delivered an exceptional dining experience that I can't recommend enough! We made a reservation (which I highly advise, as it's a popular spot!), and from start to finish, everything was simply perfect. It was not crowded. The food was outstanding. The crab was fresh and perfectly prepared, and the butter chicken was incredibly delicious – rich and full of flavor. A definite highlight were the baked oysters; they were absolutely incredible and offered fantastic value for money. Beyond the exquisite food, the sea view and the entire ambiance were a solid 10/10. Dining with such a breathtaking backdrop truly elevated the meal. The atmosphere was just right – inviting and elegant. Customer service: Absolutely top-notch! They truly go above and beyond. Highly, highly recommend!

Best restaurant in Diani in my opinion for many reasons: - diversity of food choice - flavors of all meals was out of this world - price is way better than all other places here - view to the beach - staff was nice You all have to come and try !

A lovely experience with my sisters and I at Anchor. Beautiful place, great services, the food was immaculate!. By far the best restaurant in Diani. The sea view and seeing the full moon was like a cherry on top to our experience. Everything was just on point and professional. Reservation is a must.

Incredible food, wonderful location and extremely friendly and attentive staff. One of the best places to eat in and around Diani, don’t miss it! Especially recommend the lobster mac and cheese and the crab chili, they’re exquisite!

Blue Marlin Restaurant

Restaurant
Bar
Blue Marlin Restaurant is a hidden treasure in Diani Beach, offering breathtaking views of the sea. It serves delectable seafood pizza that is freshly prepared and absolutely scrumptious. The cocktails are simply amazing, perfectly balanced with just the right blend of flavors. Warda, the manager, does an incredible job overseeing operations, and the staff members are all exceptional. The food itself is outstanding, and their coffees and juices are of high quality as well.
Absolutely situated right on the beach; we walked in from the sand. The location is stunning! I can't believe that after all my visits to Diani, I had never dined here before—what a mistake! Three of us enjoyed lunch, and everyone was extremely pleased. The food was delicious, obviously crafted by a skilled chef. The portion sizes were just right, and our meals were ready just 15 minutes after ordering. It truly surpassed my expectations. The staff was very attentive, and the prices were quite reasonable. I loved it and will definitely return!

Our recent visit to the Blue Marlin Beach Restaurant in Diani Beach was a wonderful experience. The restaurant offers breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, which provides the perfect backdrop for a delicious meal. The menu is varied and offers a range of fresh seafood. We opted for the Grilled Lobster and Crusted Tuna. The portions were generous and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, attentive and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, which contributed to a very enjoyable dining experience. A perfect combination of delicious food, a beautiful location and excellent service in Diani Beach.

Went to the Blue Marlin for a birthday dinner. The seafood dishes were exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ribs were really good too. I came here few times 7 years ago, and now again! The same delicious sea food, absolutely tasty, I love the view as you’re right by the water, so even on warm days, there is always a breeze there… one down side is they’re very slow with preparing the food, it took one hour to get the food

We had breakfast, lunch and dinner every day for 5 days as the food there was much better than any other place around - choice, quality, variety. The service was prompt and friendly. Cannot recommend enough

Had lunch at Blue Marlin and absolutely loved it. The king prawns pilipili with coconut rice were so tasty and the portion was really generous. I had their house rosé (Frontera from Chile) — so refreshing on a hot day and finished off with an Aperol Spritz that was perfectly balanced. Service was friendly, food came quickly, and the beach view just made everything better. Will definitely be coming back when I’m in Diani! Ask ChatGPT

Moi International Airport

International airport
Airport
Moi International Airport is the main gateway to Mombasa, offering direct flights from Europe and a 45-minute flight from Nairobi. The airport's air welcomes visitors with a unique heaviness, setting the tone for the coastal experience. Renowned for its laid-back atmosphere, travelers can easily navigate through security and may even encounter monkeys on-site. Located just 10 kilometers from Mombasa's city center, the airport provides convenient access to coastal destinations and has undergone recent renovations to enhance its facilities.
A very clean Airport with nice friendly staff's. Smoking area is also available on designated areas.

This is a medium sized airport and for the most part runs fairly efficiently. Plan on getting here early just in case. The last time I was there the power went out just as we were checking in. We had to wait for the power to come back on before we could check in. Fortunately it wasn't very long.

Not a nice airport. Very strange vibe. None of the shops or even cafes have prices displayed. It feels like you’re stuck in the middle of Sultanahmet with people trying to scam you. In fact there is even “Bosphorus lounge”. People wait for you in the bathroom with the exact same lines “how was your vacation? Did you go on a safari? Are you from Germany?” and expect you to give them money for some reason. No air conditioning. Two cafes and both of them very sad looking. No normal take away drinks. Flydubai has an extra security check in front of the gate again, but that’s not the airport just a terrible airline.

I’m currently at Moi International Airport waiting for my flight, which has been delayed by about an hour. The waiting area is clean, spacious, and well-lit, with plenty of seating and good ventilation. There’s a calm, relaxed atmosphere—even during delays—which makes the wait more bearable. The Rafiki Café and nearby shops provide light snacks and refreshments, which is convenient for travelers spending extra time here. The overall layout is easy to navigate, and the staff are polite and helpful when asked for assistance. One area that could be improved is clearer communication or announcements during flight delays. Otherwise, it’s a pleasant airport with a warm coastal vibe and a generally comfortable experience for passengers.

Mombasa Airport may be small, but it’s incredibly efficient with exceptionally friendly staff. From check-in and security to immigration and baggage handling, the entire process was smooth and welcoming. The business class lounge was a standout feature — clean, comfortable, and well-managed. Despite its size, this airport rivals and even surpasses many larger international hubs in terms of service. Well done to the team. Asante sana!

The airport is generally okay but the delays are not good. We were scheduled for 9pm flight and the flight delayed upto 12pm midnight imagine 😤. No proper updates given why there was a delayed, only kept telling that the plane ✈️ is not here. No proper lounges to relax except the basic airport benches. Taking the train from Mombasa to Nairobi or either way is the best. The delays at the airport are not good and if you add up from the time you check in and the time you depart it almost equals the train time. So better take the train and enjoy the views and more relaxed atmosphere. And another important point is that after the delays and after take off the pilots were moving at lightning ⚡️ speed ooooh my gosh, that thing was cruising ✈️. Thats my worst flight experience. Maybe they were trying to catch up with time. Uuuumm too bad. Luckily we arrived safely

I love Moi not only for its easy accessibility but also for its simplicity. Super clean and organised as well. Friendly and helpful staff I always have the easiest time here. Even with the heavy rains going.on we didn't get rained on, this is a super plus for me. Kudos keep doing the amazing work that you guys are doing

....as good as any airport anywhere. Wonderful, quite, quant little airport. International flights come into Moi International Airport too. Everything works at a slower pace here, but you get through security and baggage check in with ease. Nice snack shack for drink and a sandwich. Then walk to the aircraft. Easy pezee. Nairobi here I come.

Your typical Diani landing n I was told by a ground attendant twas the best of the day. Most chilled out airport, u can just walk in n out. Though the runway is short, for skilling out pilots.

A short runway that makes the plane take sharp brakes!

An absolutely terrible experience. The air conditioning is not working, and the place is even hotter than the seaside heat. If you can, arrive as late as possible so you don’t have to wait.

Do not film and or take photos of the Aircraft. There are no signs, yet you will get asked to delete the videos or photos by the Airport Police, who politely then asks for a drink. Be very careful.

Thank You Jambojet! First time flying Jambojet from Diani to Nairobi, 515km but third time overally flying them and our flight was on time, We had a modern clean aircraft, the service was good, the cabin crew were cordial and pleasant and displayed this throughout the journey. 1 hour and few minutes in! Karibu Nairobi! Jambojet flies twice daily to Ukunda (Diani) at the coast. Jambojet's shining achievement. Thank you!

A serviceable little airstrip that makes it quite easy to get to the coast of Kenya from Nairobi. The airport building is tiny and there was no need to enter it upon arrival from Nairobi, and after walking the short distance from the little prop plane to the arrivals area. The luggage was delivered promptly.

Pretty neat for an airstrip. Check-in service is really fast. They have a small tuck shop and the lavatories are clean. A downside is that the waiting area is so hot. Apart from the natural breeze coming through from the windows, they have a few ceiling fans installed which don't do much IMO. Security also seemed very casual at the airstrip, I guess it's low threat? I wouldn't know...
