The space includes a shop and cafe. Things are a bit on the pricy side, but you are partly paying for the environment as well.

Definitely a place to stop by when visiting Handa City! Not a large area but a place to chill and drink beer. They don't serve much food here, just enough for a snack or food to fill you (for those food enthusiast 😅 ps. a bit pricey😢). A historical place where you can buy souvenirs too!

My child had a blast pretending to be a pilot and learning about aviation! The airport itself has plenty of seating, charging stations, and a great selection of restaurants and shops. Overall, it’s a top-tier experience for both adults and kids. Highly recommend it!

And I wish I could have found one last bottle of sparkling water in any(!) of the many vending machines. But the duty free shop did allow me to taste some Japanese single malt whiskies. (Very nice, but at 14,000 Yen per above my price range.) Main disappointment: the business class lounge was really not that good & there is not a single bottle of Choya for sale anywhere. I wish I had gotten some in town; but I thought I could save the hassle of packing and just do duty free carry-on.
