El Medano Beach

Marinas
El Medano Beach, located just south of downtown Cabo San Lucas, is the main beach in the area and a bustling hub of activity. This crescent-shaped swimming beach is packed with visitors, locals, and vendors offering various water activities like kayaking, jet skiing, and parasailing. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, heading to the south end or nearby Playa Chileno for snorkeling in clear waters can be a great option.
Amazing beach, cold water it is. Make sure to head right if facing ocean cause beach there is more shallow and has no waves. Make sure you take at least U$100 with you cash, that's what you'll pay for 2 sunbeds with umbrella, 1 snorkel gear, 6 fresh oysters and a light lunch. Add another U$60 for a 30 minutes waverunner ride.
Ivan C — Google review
Very nice sand and clear water, it is a very pretty beach. There are many many peddlers selling their wares so not a lot of peace to yourself on this beach. We had a hard and impossible time trying to find a decent Margarita for under 20$ dollars.
Nadine C — Google review
This is such a nice short walk from my hotel. Leading up to the beach, you will pass through cobblestone pathways, restaurants and shops. Medano Beach is one of the few places where you can swim in the ocean. The sand is such a beautiful golden brown. There are a lot of areas to lay your towel down or rent a lounger / day bed. A lot of food options with restaurants and lively music. You can also take advantage of the water activities like banana boats.
S J — Google review
The best and maybe only beach you can swim in Cabo with safeguards and so many amenities around from relaxing beach clubs like Corazon, Sur or Tamara, to more lively beach clubs like Taboo. Just walk by the beach and choose the beach club that fits your mood. Most beach clubs give you beach bed for a deposit you can use toward food and drinks. The water on calm days is suitable for swimming and the water temperature is great.
NS R — Google review
Very nice beach. Great for families. You can swim/tan/explore the tide pools looking at crabs! It can get a bit crowded, but worth it for the free parking and bathrooms! Bring your snacks because there’s really no food accessible.
Riley S — Google review
This is most happening beach in cabo. There are many stopping and very good restaurants.. the water taxi takes from marina to this.beach for 5 to 7 dollars per person. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas if you needs. Most of the water activities can be done here like jet ski, snorkeling and other..
Suresh B — Google review
Crowded but pretty, well-kept beach. Much harrassment from vendors selling all kinds of trinkets.
Dolly L — Google review
Beautiful and Lively Beach with Something for Everyone Medano Beach is a must if you’re in Cabo! It’s a public beach with access points every few blocks, even though it’s surrounded by hotels and resorts. It’s super easy to get to, whether you’re staying nearby or just visiting for the day. There are tons of beach clubs if you’re looking for food, drinks, and music—but be ready, prices are high, as you’d expect in a popular tourist spot. That said, you can also bring your own drinks, umbrella, and chairs and just relax on the sand, which is a huge plus. Yes, there are plenty of vendors walking by trying to sell you things, but honestly, they’re not too pushy and usually take a polite “no thanks” well. Overall, it’s a very nice and family-friendly beach with beautiful water, great people-watching, and a fun vibe. Perfect spot to spend the day!

Lovers Beach

Mentioned on

Beach
Outdoor Activities
Lovers Beach is a secluded and picturesque spot located at Lands End in Los Cabos. Accessible only by boat, this remote beach offers golden sands and dramatic limestone rock formations. To reach it, visitors can arrange a glass-bottom boat ride from Medano Beach, which includes stops at iconic landmarks like the Arch at Lands End and opportunities for snorkeling and scuba diving. Once there, nestled between two prominent granite rock formations, visitors can enjoy a private paradise to relax and swim.
Lover’s Beach in Cabo San Lucas is absolutely jaw dropping a true slice of paradise! Just a short boat ride from the Cabo marina, this stunning beach is tucked between dramatic rock formations and offers soft sand and crystal clear, calm waters perfect for relaxing or swimming. What makes it even more special is its unique location right across from the wild and rugged Divorce Beach, where the powerful waves crash with intensity. The contrast is surreal. Lover’s Beach feels like a dream peaceful, scenic, and unforgettable. A must visit when in Cabo!
HolySocom — Google review
A small beach that touches both the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez, although reportedly treacherously dangerous on the pacific side due to currents and waves. I saw this from the cruise ship level (90') down to water level (5'). If other excursions hadn't taken so much time it would have been nice to take a boat tour out to the beach.
Graham T — Google review
Amazing and beautiful beach not far from Cabo San Lucas. At the local marina, you should be able to find a.boat for a tour and drop off and pick up here for around 200 pesos per person. As you get dropped off, just advise what time you want to be picked up. No restrooms here or services.
Matthew S — Google review
Very nice, but for the first time in 45 years i almost drowned. The water became very powerful and i needed someone to help me get out of the current.
Kelly L — Google review
Very scenic and fun island. This beach is unique in that on its north side is the Gulf of California, with calm waters and great for swimming; and on the south side, is the Pacific, which despite its name, is anything but calm. I should know, because I climbed onto some of the rocks near the shore on the Pacific side, and while out there, a huge wave came in and knocked me down it, causing me to fall about a storey in height onto the beach below. Luckily I came away with only some minor scratches and moderate bruisings on both my feet, legs and knees, but I definitely wouldn't test my luck again there. Here are a few pictures I took of the beach and some cool rock formations on it.
Jethro C — Google review
The place is stunning! But be ready, to get there is a little adventure. The only way is through a resort: the guard brings you through the resort until a wonderful beach with big waves, then you have to walk along the beach until a rock formation and do a bit of rock climbing to get in the other side where a paradise beach is waiting. Gym shoes are mandatory for the rocks! don’t try with sandals, it’s slippery. Anyway I’m my point of view, the beauty of the place pay the effort to reach it.
Daniela V — Google review
Lovers beach is a nice spot but busy because of the swimming. But Divorce beach is by far more spectacular. Waves crashing on the shore and mountains surrounding the beach. Incredible views. More private.
Mike — Google review
Beautiful beach and definitely the first thing to do in Cabo San Lucas. The water taxi are available and inexpensive. If it is your first time there, take not just a ride to the beach, but also a short tour with your water taxi around the Arco. The water is warm and very clean. If you do scuba, that would be one of the best things to do.

Lands End, located at the southernmost tip of the 750-mile-long Baja California peninsula in Cabo San Lucas, is a stunning natural attraction. This half-mile headland offers sandy beaches, a natural arch, and rocky outcrops that can be explored by kayak or on nightly sunset cruises. Iconic landmarks like El Arco, Pelican Rock, Neptunes Finger, and Lovers and Divorce Beaches provide remarkable views.
Worth the boat trip, it's a great experience

Beautiful views!!! Amazing rock formations and photo opportunities
H H — Google review
12-26-23 Literally what it says. It's where the land ends. Picturesque peninsula with two beaches (Lover's and Divorce), the famous arch, Scooby-Doo rock, etc. Most people just take a boat around the peninsula and go to the aforementioned beaches. You can hike the peninsula, however. The peninsula is super busy with boats and very crowded. Rough water, too. Expect boats galore. Do love the rock formations, and the appeal is warranted.

Playa del Divorcio

Mentioned on
+6 other lists
Beach
Playa del Divorcio is a secluded and undeveloped beach with scenic views and rocky cliffs. It's accessible by water taxi from the marina or Playa Medano, dropping visitors off at Lover's Beach for a short walk to Divorce Beach. This dramatic addition to the area offers colder waters, bigger waves, and strong winds, making it unsuitable for swimming but perfect for sunbathing and exploring.
You cannot swim here!!! This beach has the most beautiful ocean views and the rocks are awesome!! This was a great place to lounge and listen to the crashing waves, watch the crabs shuffle about, climb around the rocks, and just sit and enjoy the scenery! You have to get a water taxi to the beach unless maybe you’re in the resort that’s closest and closed access - unsure about that. The views were unbelievable and there were people about but it wasn’t packed by any means.
Kori — Google review
Playa El Divorcio is a beautiful and quiet beach that feels like a hidden escape. One of the most special things about it is that it’s a turtle nesting protection zone, which adds a sense of importance and natural wonder to the visit. You can easily reach it by taking the trail from the hotels on the west side. The walk is simple, not demanding at all, and definitely worth it once you arrive. The scenery is stunning, peaceful, and far less crowded than other popular Cabo beaches. If you’re looking for a place to appreciate nature, relax, and enjoy one of Cabo’s more serene spots, Playa El Divorcio is absolutely worth the visit.
Alejandro ( — Google review
This beach is very very rough. Do Not Swim here!!! It is very dangerous but beautiful. The sand gets very hot so wear some type of footwear because the sand is course and it hurts when walking. No food or drinks available so come prepared.
END A — Google review
Beautiful beach on the opposite side of Lovers beach. It’s rough water and unswimmable, and hence called Divorce beach. The opposite side is the peaceful side, the Lovers beach, that is swimmable.
Toni K — Google review
Pros: Great Picnic Spot with Sunset. Less trafficked with only 4 other people for sunset, beautiful cliffs beach and boat going by, and cool hiking Cons -bugs a little annoying. The riptide is strong and unpredictable, not easy to access without boat
Cameron M — Google review
Divorce Beach is the Pacific side of Lovers Beach. Colder water, bigger waves, more wind, and most importantly no swimming. Dont come here to swim or spend the day, just a hour or two to walk around and lay in the sun. You can also explore the rocks, take pictures, watch the hawks circle for food, etc. Any water taxi will drop you off and pick you up at Lovers Beach, then you walk the few hundred meters to Divorce Beach. You can get to/from the marina or any hotel on Medano Beach. Typical price for a taxi is ~US$4 per person per way. I typically give them MX100 (18.7:1 exchange at the moment) for a two person ride, then have them pick me up a few hours later. Another MX100 back to the resort beach plus a tip. Everything runs on tips. Vendors do exist here, but are more sparse than Medano. Bring water and food as you need.
Joe D — Google review
Only accessible via climbing over the rocks a fair distance or by boat / kayak or similar by landing at lovers Beach and walking over. Spectacular views, I'd love to be here at sunset
Stefan K — Google review
The flip side of lovers beach, on the pacific. A little too dangerous to swim. But an excellent spot for a cerveza.

Cabo Whale Watching

Mentioned on
7 lists
Whale watching tour agency
Cabo Whale Watching offers a unique experience to witness the annual migration of thousands of whales, including grays and humpbacks, from the cold Arctic waters to the warm ocean around Cabo. The season typically runs from mid-December through mid-April. Visitors have the opportunity to see whale pods with their young, as well as other marine life like dolphins, manta rays, sea lions, and whale sharks in their natural habitat.
Highly recommend Cabo Whale Watching! I messaged Lourdes on WhatsApp late at night and she was prompt to respond. We had a group of 10, including 6 kids. They ensured all the kids had the right life jackets. Communication was clear and prompt. They delivered on exactly what they said with no hidden fees or money required to hold the reservation. Captain Alex was polite, knowledgeable and laidback. He got us closer than any other boats out there and was on time when picking us up from the beach. Would highly recommend this company for their clear communication, reasonable rates and excellent service. My kids had a blast and will surely be a lifelong memory!
Ashley S — Google review
I’d give 10 ⭐️ if I could. Gorgeous to start with and the Capt was knowledgeable and lucky to sight whales a few times. Overall very enjoyable and
Vaibhav G — Google review
What a phenomenal experience! Got this one off my bucket list!! Took the 12 passenger speed boat out of marina for a 2 hour glorious whale watching adventure. Was lucky enough to view a few dozen mature and baby whales spouting off at sea. FYI took the trip in February.. ( it’s mating season) such a beautiful sight to behold!
Lisa M — Google review
We chose the small group catamaran tour which ended up being 18 people. No big deal except it was advertised as 10-12. We toured the Sea of Cortez waters across from the hotel zone. Not much action. From our hotel on the pacific side we could see more. Next time we will make sure we tour the Pacific side during a January visit. Mid morning or late afternoon is when we viewed the most action. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Lunch was adequate.
K H — Google review
Unforgettable Whale Watching Experience in Cabo We had an amazing whale watching experience in Cabo! Not only did we see several majestic whales up close, but we were also lucky enough to spot a sea turtle. What truly made the tour special was our guide, a knowledgeable marine biologist who shared fascinating insights about the marine life and ecosystem. It added so much depth to the experience. The crew was professional, friendly, and made sure everyone had a great time. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cabo.
Michael Y — Google review
Totally incredible experience with amazing guides! Had such a wonderful time and the girls who took us out were amazing! We didn’t know it was whale watching season until we arrived and were thrilled to be able to make a group booking with these guys!
Chris — Google review
Great service by the tour Lourdes was communicating and arranged to meet us at the port. Our capital Juan and santos were patient kind and took us out in ocean to see the wales. It was amazing experience highly recommended!
Paniper — Google review
This is something that me and my family had never done before, so we didn’t really know what to expect. We went in excited, and left fulfilled. You initially get a tour of the beautiful arch in Cabo San Lucas, and then get taken far into the ocean, and then relax on the water and search for ocean wildlife. It’s a great experience and I would definitely do it again.

Night club
El Squid Roe is a vibrant and lively party spot in Cabo, known for its energetic atmosphere, DJs, and dancing. The venue offers a variety of food options including tacos, burgers, and pizzas to accompany the drinks served. As the night progresses in Cabo, the party mood intensifies with various clubs coming to life after 11 PM.
Loved this bar! It was so much fun and the energy was amazing. If you're looking for something fun in town to do, definitely come here. I have so much to see in the area all around you. Like pictures of famous people up on the walls, a huge disco ball, an airplane that looks like it has flown into the roof, an open roof, a dancing area, a DJ pit, and so much more! Have to experience in person, there's just no way to exactly describe the amazing experience here. The drinks are a little expensive, but they are definitely worth it.
Kylee C — Google review
This place has very nice tacos during the day. A crazy party at night!! I enjoyed exploring the three floors! One thing I would recommend to the business owners is to not inflate prices at night. They had a very nice customer experience during the day, however, they were horrible at night. There is a lot of potential for this spot, you should definitely go there if you are visiting Cabos for the first time!
Majd S — Google review
We were excited to try this night club but due to the low travel season it was so slow. Barely anyone there so we didnt get to dance I did not like my Margherita but the fries were good. We did enjoy the atmosphere and the staff was friendly and quick.
Jaime N — Google review
Looking for some place fun and unique in the town of Cabo? Apparently this place runs late into a popular night club. Fortunately, for my sister and I, we stopped by for drinks during our port stop in Cabo. First and foremost, the staff is so funny and friendly and made us wish we were staying Longer to enjoy the night life. But the signs and decor along the walls of this bar were very amusing along with our decently priced Pina coladas! Definitely coming back on our next trip to Cabo.
Michelle M — Google review
Dropped by during lunch time at this super vibey place! The mango shooter was amazing! And to top it, my favorite band plays on TV! Enjoyed our overall experience at El Squid Roe! A fun place to check out during your visit to Cabo 🙌
Arch S — Google review
went with a few people i met here in México. True ride or dies. Hella touristy. Yt folks can be discriminatory towards blacks , as I got targeted múltiple times here by a gringo. Otherwise the staff and natives here were súper inviting and denoted every claim and I was never in the wrong nor caused harm to anyone. They were nice enough to offer me and my friends múltiple shots. So that was a win Definitivamente a cool scene and funky atmosphere. Playing a wide variety of music. Servers are ACTIVE. This isnt the place to sit around and have a conversation. 1st floor for a mellow vibe, 2nd floor where you enter the jungla and the 3rd if you need a breather. A tourrist trap pero chuladoooo
Eric C — Google review
We came here on Halloween night and all the staff were dressed in day of the dead makeup! Great place for partying and drinking. They come around with shots and have good beats. It is expensive though. But fun atmosphere!!!
Jolene L — Google review
Fun atmosphere geared towards north American tourists. Staff speaks enough English. Drinks are WAY overpriced...$16 USD for a VERY small Cadillac margarita (1.5 ozs). Again, fun atmosphere and English speaking.

The Arch of Cabo San Lucas

Mentioned on
6 lists
Nature & Parks
Landmark
El Arco, or the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, is a stunning natural rock formation that rises majestically from the ocean, creating an iconic landmark at the meeting point of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. This geological wonder is part of a larger area known as Lands End (El Finisterra), where visitors can marvel at unique rock formations and often spot playful sea lions basking in the sun on nearby rocks.
We had the best time exploring this place. This was certainly a highlight of our trip here. We did the private boat trip, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable about this area and surrounding area as well. The boat was equipped with life vests and the boat seemed new and clean. Would and recommend going for this experience. You’ll enjoy your time here!
Mahesh N — Google review
For me personally, you see this place on TV and in the movies and you say …wow that’s beautiful but I’ll probably never see it in person. Well we did it! I got to take my wife here on Mother’s Day. We went out on a catamaran called Cabo Blue ( Which I highly recommend if you like upbeat vibes ) on a somewhat rough afternoon. The boat captain explained how he was going to route our trip a little differently to avoid the choppiness and guaranteed everyone would get nice views of these majestic arches. We spent about an hour circling which is way more than enough and got to see them at different light levels. I would definitely take another trip out there if ever in Cabo again.
Glasco I — Google review
Simply amazing, especially at sunset! Fish jumping everywhere. Pick your tour carefully through. Booze cruise party? Quiet dinner cruise? Lots of options here.
Tad R — Google review
I went back in July,it didn’t disappoint! It looked so good seeing the rock formation surrounded by the Sea Of Cortez. Every angle I saw it at it looked so cool! All the other rocks nearby also looked good, but the arch was the best.
Krish T — Google review
So pretty here!! Rented a boat with just me and my husband, went out to the water about a hour really got to enjoy the view and took about great pictures too
Ivy X — Google review
Family came here Nov 3rd 2025, Carnival 5 night Cruise, took shots as we were coming in. Glad we were on the left side of the ship, also was able to capture the sunrise.
Johnathan I — Google review
This place is magical Got to see jumping rays and sea lions It was beyond romantic... if you have the option, GO! Did a sunset cruise with Eco Cat catamaran and was not disappointed at all! It was probably a sight and night I will never ever forget!
Kimberly M — Google review
Visiting the Arch (El Arco) in Cabo San Lucas was absolutely breathtaking. The rock formation itself is stunning, rising majestically where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. The water is incredibly clear and vibrant, with beautiful shades of turquoise and deep blue. Along the way, we saw amazing marine life sea lions lounging on the rocks and tropical fish swimming beneath the surface. It’s truly a picture-perfect, must see spot that captures the raw beauty of Cabo. Stunningly gorgeous and unforgettable!

Chileno Bay Public Beach

Beach
Outdoor Activities
Chileno Bay Public Beach is a popular destination for both locals and tourists in Cabo San Lucas. The beach offers golden sandy shores, clear blue waters, and calm waves, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as showers, restrooms, and vendors offering umbrellas and snacks. While the beach can get busy during midday, it remains a family-friendly spot with opportunities for relaxation and water activities.
Lovely beach. The area was clean. There are lifeguards and public restrooms plus an outside shower area. There is also a place to rent chairs, umbrellas, snorkels, fins, and even a transparent kayak. First come, first serve when its busy. Highly recommend! Be sure to pack everything you need as there are no places to buy food here.
H K — Google review
Chileno Bay is an incredible beach and easily our favorite during our trip to Cabo! Parking was free, and the walk from the lot to the beach was quick and easy. The beach itself is beautiful, with soft sand and plenty of space to relax. Lifeguards are on duty, which adds peace of mind, and the sunrise here is absolutely stunning. While it wasn’t too crowded most days, Sundays were definitely busier. One of the highlights was the snorkeling there’s a rocky area where fish love to gather, making for an amazing underwater experience. I’d recommend bringing your own chairs and umbrella, or you can conveniently rent them right on the beach. Out of the eight days we spent in Cabo, we visited Chileno Bay three times, it’s just that good! Highly recommend!
Chris C — Google review
I found Chileno Bay Beach to be a great beach to spend a day at. Snorkelling is best in and around the rocks to the right of the beach when you walk down the boardwalk. I would recommend water shoes/flippers as you’ll need to take breaks on the rocks and there are a few sea urchin’s as to be expected. Maybe a life jacket as well if you have little ones or if your not the strongest swimmer, as the under tow can work against you. Pack a lunch and drinks as public food options are limited. There are public bathrooms and showers just up the boardwalk. Parking lot can get quite packed. There are beach vendors that rent chairs and umbrellas at about $38CAD (1 chair, 1 umbrella) so if your going for a day you may as well bring those too. I found the sand to be more rocky towards the left of the beach and beyond. It’s a blue flag beach which means it has upkeep standards to meet, I would recommend Chileno Bay Beach!
Jordan K — Google review
Amazing beaches which the water was calm, good for snorkeling or watching the marine ecosystem by the rocks (tide pools), plenty of crabs and tiny fishes plus sea birds.
Robin W — Google review
We came to this beautiful beach around 12 noon, weather was really nice 87 F no clouds, we only brought swimsuits, sun block and good sandals. You can rent for $300 pesos an umbrella and $100 for a chair whatever time you need them. There are guys selling drinks and fruit. Parking is free and you can find restrooms at the entrance of the beach that you can use. Overall a great experience, super clean and very family friendly.
Abbby — Google review
A beautiful sheltered beach a few miles from Cabo. It’s a public beach so parking can be an issue. But it’s worth it. There’s a reasonable changing room, toilets and showers which is a plus. The beach is always busy but we had no problem finding a spot. The rightmost area has a reef for snorkeling but we found schools of fish just offshore in 2-4’ of water. In June, the water temperature was around 85° or so.
Todd P — Google review
What a magnificent beach! I was so pleasantly surprised from the parking lot as I was expecting something more rustic, but it was paved and with plenty of spaces. Then the facilities with bathrooms and showers were clean and in very good shape, so that’s an added bonus. And then of course the best part was the beach: LOVELY! Super calm clear waters for swimming and snorkeling. The fish swim to the shore, you can spot them so easily at your feet, that was super neat. We had gone prepared with drinks and food in a cooler plus chairs and umbrella, but saw that they also rented and there was a also someone in the beach that sold drinks and food. Preferred this beach much more than Sedano beach as there is no one trying to sell you stuff
Lina B — Google review
Beautiful beach with friendly fish right near the shore. Gets crowded near noon. Umbrella rental available. No reception or data here but wifi available.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is spectacular. Such a lovely place to have drinks and take photos of yourself at. My dining experience however just wasn’t impressive. I really didn’t like anything except the desserts. This is the spot everyone comes to for their birthday. They sung happy birthday to three other tables including myself, I know they get tired of singing it lol. The server did take amazing photos of me so I truly appreciate that. The Waldorf Astoria is gorgeous though I’ll have to stay there when I come back to Cabo.

Nestled in the Mountain against the Ocean. The tables are up against the railing next to the Ocean and Giant Rocks. Just know if you sit there you could get wet! Sometimes it’s a little chilly so bring a jacket. They do take care of you with Mexican blankets. The service with Carlos and his partner was excellent. Every course was delicious! Including dessert at the end. The meal includes soup, appetizer, dinner and dessert! Everything is fresh and delightful. Try the Mac and cheese if you like truffle! The best I’ve ever had!!

My new favorite place. So romantic in the most beautiful setting on the ocean. Nice prix fix menu, and cocktails, wines and fabulous service. On my must list for Cabo

Visited Mid-April 2025. Ambience and location of this restaurant is well renown, and for good reason. Incredible view with the ever-present sound of waves crashing underfoot. A few unfortunate diners near the ledge got splashed, but took it in good spirits. Food is quite good, very fresh fish and well prepared with great presentation. Shared the seared blue fin tuna and the amberjack mains. The amberjack crudo starter was honestly the favorite part of the meal. Service was also excellent. You're really paying just for the view and atmosphere at this restaurant, but it is total worth it. This place really is a must visit at least once. I found it amusing that there was live violinist paying smooth jazz covers of American songs. Felt out of place to me, but to each their own. Lowlights: Quality wine is horrifically overpriced. Either bring your own and pay the corkage fee, or stick to the (still fairly spendy) cocktails.

The reviews here are mostly accurate. Good but not great food that feels worse when considering the price. That said, the atmosphere is maybe once in a lifetime? Truly stunning and makes up for whatever the food is lacking. Also, great service and attention by the staff.
Geoff H — Google review
The place is incredible and offers a wonderful culinary experience with the dishes they offer. We paid $226 per person, but it was absolutely worth it. The sound of the waves and watching the sunset were magical, and if you get cold, they even provide a sarape to keep you warm. The only downside was that one of my cousins found a fly in her drink.
Oswaldo H — Google review
My experience was ok. Service was very slow , my steak was very tough n lack flavor. For $700 for 3 adults it’s not worth it. Beautiful , great location but food not worth the price they are asking n they need to up there game on flavor.

Edith's Restaurante is a vibrant and upscale Mexican dining venue located just half a block from Medano Beach in Cabo San Lucas. The owner, Edith Jimenez, has been a prominent figure in the local dining scene for decades and her restaurant offers a must-try experience for first-time visitors. The restaurant features colorful gardens with thatched coverings and lanterns, creating a captivating atmosphere for an unforgettable culinary experience.
Edith's is an EXPERIENCE! We had such a lovely time. The service is phenomenal, truly top tier. Everything was amazing, the drinks, the decorations, the FOOD. We got a little of everything. The sea bass was delicious, the rib eye was perfect, even the side of grilled veggies which I feel like deserve a mention, as usually sides of veggies are just meh, but not here! The table side Caesar salad was so yummy. The boozy Mexican hot chocolate was so cool (video attached.) Be prepared to spend some money on this meal, but like I said, you're paying for amazing food and an experience so to me, absolutely worth it.

Make sure you eat here when you visit Cabo San lucas. The service is fantastic, they are very good at explaining everything. We enjoyed everything, even appetizers had no idea what they were! Alex was our main host, and he explained everything... Ask him about - perro con cadena! He'll hook you up!!😎
Phil S — Google review
Had a very good meal at Edith's. The highlights were the caesar salad and the banana flambé, both of which were the best I've had. The beef enchiladas were also excellent and flavorful. The ribeye was the only weak point; it had a nice wood-smoke flavor, but the meat was tough and lacked a hard sear. Despite the steak, the quality of the other dishes and the excellent ambiance made for a five-star experience overall. I would recommend it for any occasion.

By far the best service in Cabo! Everyone was on top of their game, very attentive and made us feel very welcomed. The restaurant itself was beautiful, even the bathroom was very nice. The food was delicious, especially the lobster taquitos and the shrimp specials. What a lovely place! We will definitely be back.
Natalia P — Google review
This is the pinnacle of cuisine within this Cabo San Lucas region. When it comes to selection and quality of food, in addition to the atmosphere, I couldn’t be more stunned and blown away by what Edith‘s offered. I was fortunate enough to celebrate my birthday here last night and the service and food was absolutely spectacular.
Sam S — Google review
First time at Edith’s, never coming back. Great customer service, the food was super overpriced and it’s more americanized food. The decoration is stunning, you’re just paying for the decor. The Cesar salad was only 4 romaine leaves and overpriced. My kiddos hamburger was like $55 and it was not all that!! If you have the money and want to spend it do but I would recommend not to spend it here. Check my following review to see we’re to go.

Los Tres Gallos

Mexican restaurant
Los Tres Gallos is a popular spot known for its classic Mexican cuisine and cocktails. The large terrace, adorned with fairy lights at night, creates a vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant offers traditional dishes such as nopalito with cheese, Oaxaca-stuffed poblano peppers, and pozole. Hand-painted dinnerware and Mexican folk music add to the sensory experience.
Incredible dining experience! Our servers, Alan and José, provided top tier service including perfect food and tequila recommendations. The mole sauce was rich and complex (perfect on the enchiladas), the Carnitas had the right balance of tender and slightly crunchy, they make the Cesar Salad dressing FRESH AT YOUR TABLE, and the tequila selection was so good you'll wish you could stay and drink through all of it. Our table had the chocolate cake, flan, and churros for dessert and you won't go wrong with any of them (but the flan was my favourite!). There was live music, a guitar trio (well one was an upright bass), who played from table to table, taking requests. The music was fantastic and the whole atmosphere was cozy and fun. We HIGHLY recommend this experience. It may be the highlight of your trip, it certainly was for us!
Jack G — Google review
If you come to Cabo and don’t eat at Los Tres Gallos, did you even really come to Cabo? 🌮 This place feels like you stumbled into your Mexican grandmother’s courtyard (if your grandmother also had a Michelin star and a tequila bar hidden out back). The mole sauce alone deserves its own passport — rich, velvety, and plotting to ruin all future moles for you. The margaritas? Dangerous in the best way. You’ll sip one, blink twice, and suddenly think you can salsa dance (spoiler: you cannot, but no one here will judge). Service is like being adopted by a new family — warm, fast, and somehow they know when you’re ready for another round before you do. Los Tres Gallos isn’t a restaurant; it’s a love letter to Mexican food, sealed with tequila and sent express delivery to your taste buds

Randomly stumbled upon Los Tres Gallos on OpenTable and boy, my family and I are so happy I did! We absolutely loved our entire experience. The Empanadas were our appetizer and it was probably the least favorite thing of the night, BUT everything else was amazing. The Mole - both enchilada and chicken thigh were THE BEST EVER! Oh man, I licked my bowl clean. The Pork Shank was a little dry, but the flavor was there regardless. The Chile Relleno was very very tasty! The Pineapple Margarita was so fresh and smooth. The Cornbread for dessert is an absolute MUST. Wow! Just incredible. The atmosphere was lovely, the place felt clean, open, airy and beautiful. We now have a new must visit restaurant when we visit Cabo.
Gina P — Google review
The food was delicious! I had started off with the empanadas and the chicken and pork were so good! Both were so flavorful and the meat wasn’t dry at all, which I was happy about. The Enchiladas Verdes was pretty good, though they don’t serve you a big portion. I think they could have used some more seasoning and spices but it was still good. I’m happy they have big fans outside because it was really hot while eating.
Selena V — Google review
We went there after walking by. The asked if we had a reservation, we did not. They were not busy. It was required for me to give my first and last name to sit down. Just seemed odd. We looked at the menu, the offered us drink service. They asked us if we wanted glass of water while we looked at the menu. We said sure. After looking at the menu, it was missing what we were after that evening, carne asada tacos.. So, we decided to leave. We were charged almost $11 usd for two glasses of water. And a sanitation fee and tax. It was honestly just a hustle. We chose not to eat there after looking at the menu and got ripped off. ***UPDATE:*** The reply below was as expected. A bland generic message that looks like it was automated with Ai. 🙄

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Cabo! The ambience of the upstairs with the trees growing up through the floors was pretty cool. Enrique and Oscar were our servers and they were nothing short of great, tour guiding us through the menu of food specials and drink options. I can’t wait to visit again!
Atl R — Google review
Been going to this place for many years, during which time it has grown and expanded many times. The service is above and beyond, exceptional. The food is still good, but the prices have risen so much and the quality has dropped a little, so that the value for the $$$$ isn’t really there any more. Just not quite as good as it used to be and a little less attention to detail. Still worth a visit, though. We had the mixiote (good, but not what it used to be, both in flavor and presentation), carnitas (great flavor but overcooked and dry) and cochinita pibil (solid). For desert, you, definitely have to get the Pan de Elote, amazing!
B — Google review
Have heard about Tres Gallos many of times, tried the one in San Jose de Cabo and finally here tonight. What a gem! Food was delicious, service impeccable and ambiance breathless! Our server was Issac who made sure we were well taken care of and very attentive. I took his recommendation for the fresh fish (Totoaba) and so glad I did. Hubby had the fall-off the bone carnitas and he's still raving. We wanted traditional Mexican food and so pleasantly surprised. We will be back, not soon enough! Wish I had taken pictures of food to a share

It's the perfect place to savor robust flavors while enjoying the airy ambiance. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by this popular spot for an authentic taste of Mexican cuisine.
Such a cute little restaurant. It was near our resort so we decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did! Cesar was our server, he was so kind and attentive. He kept the table clean, made sure we had everything we needed, and was quick to clear empty plates so we had room. The tacos were fantastic. We got asada, pescado, and camaron. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful. Will definitely make it back here when in Cabo again!

This has to be the busiest place I’ve been to while in Cabo San Lucas (most places were empty when we visited). It’s a casual place. We ordered different tacos - battered fish, grilled shrimp, grilled octopus, al pastor and smoke tuna. I personally liked shrimp taco and al pastor tacos. My kids liked grilled octopus. The jamaica drink was so refreshing to go with the tacos. The price was reasonable and the service was fast. It’s a great place to have lunch by Medano Beach.
Bonnie Y — Google review
Yummy and reasonable priced. Literally have signs up saying best fish and shrimp tacos (70 pesos each). 2 different salsas, pickled onions, pico de gallo, cabbage, crema, avocado sauce come free. Service is super nice and quick. Breakfast platter was good too (280 pesos). It came with refried beans, two eggs, hashbrowns, toast or pancakes, bacon or sausage. Like most restaurants, they only had ceiling fans. It was very hot (August).
Michelle C — Google review
This place was straight fire. We ate here pretty much every day. The fish and shrimp tacos are where it's at. I really like that they bring all of the toppings and sauces to the table. They bring the tacos dry and you get to dress them up yourself. We also came for breakfast and that was bomb as well. If you're in the area do not sleep on this place. Best tacos we had in cabo.
Bryan D — Google review
Hands down, the BEST taco spot in Cabo San Lucas. Whether you’re into pastor, asada, shrimp, fish, or scallops, it’s all top tier here. You are given all the topping and sides to dress your tacos the way you like it. The service was excellent and felt as good as table service in any fancy restaurant. This place is the epitome of happiness in a tortilla.

Tacos Gardenias is a true gem! I had the carne asada tacos and the quesabirria quesadilla, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors felt authentic and fresh. You know you’re in the right place when you see locals enjoying their meals here too! A simple spot, but the quality and taste more than make up for it. Another must try for amazing tacos in Cabo!

If I could give this place a 10 I would! We had the fried fish, Grilled shrimp, and chicken tacos. They were fabulous!! House tortillas both flour and corn, and all the findings, along with rice and beans. Now, my grandma was from Mexico and she spoiled me with her Frijoles but these were right up there with hers! The prices were good and fast Service!
Michele B — Google review
I was told about this place from the manager at the resort. They have the best fish & shrimp tacos so far in Cabo. They have other meats too like asada, pastor, octopus etc. they come with handmade tortillas. Soooo good!! The Horchata OMG!!!! So creamy so good as well as the Jamaica and Tamarindo. Fresh Real ingredients None of that powder shit! This was authentic. Highly recommended! Just a short walk from the marina. We will return every time we’re here. Sorry about not taking pictures of the food Once it reached the table I dug right in Lol Huge mound of fresh guacamole Delicious. They bring all the fixings and salsa over to your table so you can prepare your taco as you wish with cabbage, sauces, pico de gallo and so on. A Must Try!!! Great Job Everyone! Muchas Gracias a Todos.

"The Office on the Beach" is a lively beachfront restaurant located on Medano Beach in Cabo San Lucas. It has been a local favorite for decades, offering a mix of local and global cuisine along with refreshing cocktails. The rustic palapa setting adds to the charm as guests enjoy dishes like tuna tiradito, Baja-style jumbo shrimp, and Baja burritos. The bar serves up margaritas made with tequila sourced by their own tequilero Jesus Nava.
Dinner on the beach! The ambiance was nice, got to see sunset and boats going back to the marina. Service was great and the food was delicious. A bit on the pricey side but with the atmosphere and right company it’s worth it. Would recommend.
Yuen C — Google review
Ah, The Office—not the one with Michael Scott, but the iconic beachfront spot in Cabo where the drinks flow, the sand tickles your toes, and the “no reservations” policy is more of a suggestion than a rule (despite the sea of "Reserved" signs posted like it's a game of beachside Monopoly). Want a front-row seat near the water? Good luck, amigo—those tables are mysteriously spoken for. But wander a little farther from the waves and the party’s still rolling with upbeat music, a festive crowd, and staff who seem like they’re in on the joke. The food and drinks? Solid. Nothing mind-blowing, but you’re not here for Michelin stars—you’re here for tacos, margaritas the size of your head, and maybe a mariachi band sneaking up behind you mid-bite. It’s all part of the charm. The vibe is lively, a little cheeky, and surprisingly family-friendly (yes, the kids can dance in the sand while you work on your second mojito). Go for the fun, stay for the people-watching, and maybe bring a “Reserved” sign just in case.

This place is one giant party! The cocktails are strong, the food is good, and the atmosphere is 10/10. It's festive, it's Mexican, there's tequila being poured everywhere you turn, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. There are tables available inside and also tables out on the beach, with colorful blankets provided should it be windy at night. It's a great spot for dinner in Cabo, albeit touristy. Get the frozen margarita! It's giant.
G R — Google review
The location is great. Right on the beach with wide views of the sea and the ships. We sat almost right next to the band, which was quite good, so it was a bit noisy. The service was good and fast. One food was great, the other part was quite dry. The drinks were good. Definitely worth a visit. Better reserve in advance.

***Warning - Long Post*** So, if I could nominate this place for a Michelin Star or a James Beard Award, I would. We have eaten here 3 out of the 5 nights we've been in Cabo, and the only thing I hate about it is we didn't find out about it sooner. This place is a WHOLE VIBE!!! The atmosphere, the staff and the food all phenomenal. Now let's talk about Thomas our server (super nice guy), talked me into the catch of day (he's my new best friend)... The snapper was cooked to perfection (came back again to try the sword fish - perfection again), but I almost forgot about it because the vegetables stole the show. Grilled broccoli, mushrooms, greens and a puree that was perfection! I didn't know mushrooms could taste so good🤤. My wife had the smoked pancetta honey pizza (caramelized onions and honey) did I mention it had honey on it... I didn't know pizza could taste this good... 🤤. Dessert was the yummy Sticky toffee cake with vanilla been ice cream ❤️, the S'mores (Skillet chocolate chip cookie 😋) was just as amazing ❤️. Oh don't let me forget the mocktail mojito in the martini glass. This was a special treat from the bartender showing a little extra love ... This should be bottled and sold by the gallon! It tastes like beautiful was poured in a glass with a mint kiss. The hostess, Garcia, was delightful and Karen made sure we were well taken care of. Rodrigo was a prince of a server. Now the genius behind the amazing dishes we kept coming back for was Chef Guillermo. Our meals we're blissful and he was humble which made us love him even more! He was so inviting and accommodating. Let me warm you. If you eat here, you won't want to eat anywhere else in Cabo... Oh yeah the nightly live music completes the WHOLE VIBE! We are already looking forward to coming back to Cabo and making this a recurring experience! Gracias Guillermo and the whole Esquina staff! You guys are awesome!

This was the dark horse winner of our entire trip! We ate here every morning for breakfast and several times for lunch and dinner. Everything we ate was terrific. The acai Bowl and the pizzas were amazing. If I had to pick a little, I'd say to confirm the description on the menu matches what is served. We noticed inconsistencies with the actual item vs the menu descriptions, but for us it didn't matter much.

We had an excellent experience! The food was fabulous. We started with the Burratta in a vinaigrette that left us wanting another order! The pizza was very good, ate too quickly and forgot to photograph! Lastly the drinks were good, nice and substantial, not watered down. I would go again on my next trip!

SUR Beach Club is a trendy beachfront venue that offers an extensive drink menu and international cuisine. It's a popular spot for creative cocktails and seafood-focused dishes, with a fashionable yet casual atmosphere. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with the option to dine inside or on beach chairs by the ocean. Additionally, it's known as the top brunch spot on Medano Beach and offers activities like morning yoga, water bike rentals, and stand-up paddleboarding.
The restaurant is located at the beach front and easy to walk to, therefore there could be some people passing by if the seating is right at the frontline. We were so close to the beach and we enjoyed watching the bustling marina activities with the Arch as the backdrop. The food was well done with Asian fusion. We loved the Trilogy especially the eggplant dressing. The octopus was grilled nicely, the lettuce wraps were delicious (yet, a little bit salty). The waiter was very nice and had served us well. Just be careful to check the bill before paying because there were two dishes not ordered by us shown on the bill. They fixed it right the way after we pointed out. 15% service charge was added, additional tips would be optional.

We had a family get-together paired with the best guacamole we have ever had. The cabana was covered, and we could have spent the whole day there. The beverages were fantastic, and the food was outstanding. The view of the Arch, the water, the beach, and the brightest blue sky were a photographer 's dream view. We walked there from our ship, but we're so relaxed afterward. We got a ride from the nicest hostess of the hotel. It's a definite yes to spend a few hours in this space. We are still talking about it.

Feb 2025 We returned and brought some friends to Sur. While our guests took a boat trip over to see the arch, we decided to sit and have a few drinks and enjoy the view. The staff and servers are always very pleasant, courteous and professional. The view is fantastic and the restaurant does a good job with presentation. Overall, I love coming back this restaurant every year. Jan 2024 We have eaten this place before. They have great food, good service, a nice atmosphere and a view that is just fantastic. The view is of the Cabo San Lucas marina and port area. On this occasion, we decided to let a couple of guests take a boat right over to the arch, and I just enjoyed the view and had a few drinks from the bar area. After everyone returned, we decided not to eat but just enjoyed drinks today. You can usually find out what it costs to get a boat ride over to see the arch. Cost varies year-over-year, but this is one of the best places to get the boat ride, in my opinion. Remember to negotiate - the more people in the boat, the cheaper the ride should be. I hope your experience is as good as mine has been.

Mi Casa is a classic restaurant with a hacienda feel and live mariachi performances, offering traditional Mexican dishes. It has two locations in downtown Cabo San Lucas and central San Jose del Cabo, each providing a delectable menu featuring chicken Mole poblano, chiles rellenos, tostadas loaded with shredded chicken, Sonora beef fillet, chicken enchiladas in red or green sauce, succulent pork dishes served with traditional sides.
Wanted something light and never had ceviche so went with the combo fish and shrimp. It is a cold dish, to me, basically seafood bruschetta. The space in this place is amazing. A vibrant gem! With lively music and a colorful atmosphere, this place was perfect for my whole family to enjoy what is truly Mexico. The food is delicious – traditional Mexican dishes packed with bold, authentic flavors. The tacos were especially fantastic, and the salsas were a perfect mix of spicy and tangy. I also loved the variety of drinks, with a great selection of margaritas to complement the meal. Service was fast, friendly and welcoming. A fun evening!

This is my favorite restaurant in Cabo. Older than all the others and a rich history in the gift shop and decor. The staff go out of their way to treat you right. The food is amazing. A group of us came here for dinner and it was a truly wonderful experience! The videos are breathtaking!! Definitely make a reservation for sunset. The service was excellent. Tableside guacamole! Everything we got was delicious. Please keep in mind that the portions are very large! We could have ordered half as many dishes, we couldn't finish everything! This is a lovely place to visit.

We had dinner here tonight and loved the experience so much I wrote the review before we even left! First of all, the service in Cabo is great but Hacienda raised the bar even higher. Arnalfo & Jahir were incredible! So polite, attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious too, especially shrimp aguachille. The 4 leches cake is a MUST! And their chipotle salsa should be bottled. What a lovely restaurant.

Love this place! Beautiful! Picture perfect setting and great service. I was celebrating my birthday and the staff made sure that I was happy and kept the margaritas coming ☺️ And the chocolate cake was fabulous! Thank you!

We randomly picked this place not expecting much but it was great!! We went at sunset and had such an amazing view with amazing drinks and food! Service was great as well.

The service was fantastic! We ordered the chilaquiles rojos and arrachera — both were delicious. The Celosa Margarita is an absolute must-try. We were also treated to complimentary fruta roja shots, which were amazing, and the churros were the perfect sweet finish. Our server, Juvencio, was outstanding. He made sure we had everything we needed and provided excellent service throughout our meal. Highly recommend!

Go! The food is tasty but what really makes it awesome is the view of the Sea of Cortez and the staff! The manager, Roberto, was pleasant and professional and my waiter, Juvenico, was very attentive. It’s part of a hotel but sooo worth it for the view and the food. It happened to be my birthday and they bought out “birthday churros” and they finished the breakfast with a popsicle… All the little extras make this a MUST GO!
Monica B — Google review
Service was superb. Roberto and Juvencio took care of us well! They had great food and drink recommendations and also brought us a delightful churro dessert for our anniversary. We will be returning!

Beautiful restaurant on a beautiful property! We were seated immediately with a beautiful view. I recommend coming in the evening closer to sunset. We loved the queso fundido (delicious, but a lot for two people). It was a nice evening with excellent food and service from start to finish. Looking for a place with great food, beautiful decor and great views, this is your spot. A little pricey but worth it.

Mexican restaurant
Metate Cabo is a restaurant known for its modern take on traditional Mexican cuisine. It's part of a diverse culinary scene in the area, which includes other notable establishments like 7 Seas Seafood Grille, Arbol Restaurant at Las Ventanas, and Mako Restaurant inside Solaz Resort. Metate stands out for its innovative approach to classic dishes, offering visitors a unique dining experience that celebrates the flavors of Mexico with a contemporary twist.
Excellent food. Every dish has a unique touch and unexpected flavors. There is nothing on the menu that I wouldn’t recommend, but the Michoacano el Muchacho is a definite standout. Not to mention a fantastic cocktail menu (not usually my thing) and a willingness to adapt their drinks to our palate (less sugar requested). Waiters do a great job and know their menu well. They nailed it in every aspect!

What a lovely experience. The atmosphere was delightful. The evening breeze felt so nice under all the string lights. Also, noting the soundtrack because the house music was awesome. We were vibing! The staff was very efficient and kind. We enjoyed their service. The Bone In Appetizer was my favorite. Absolutely delicious. The Rib tacos were tiny but the flavor was there! So yummy. Pork Shank was very juicy, not dry at all, so it got an A+ for that alone. The Cornbread dessert was soooo amazing. Haven’t had anything like that before and now I’m wanting 5 more orders of it… another cool part was that they had our names written on a chalkboard on our table welcoming us. A very cool touch. Would come back again! *warning tho, they do have a house pet. It’s a dog that looks part Pitbull. We are afraid of that breed and so we were just a little uncomfortable when the dog was near us but the dog behaved and didn’t act out.

Great vibes, amazing food. Subpar service. My family had an early dinner at Metate yesterday and we were told that our waiter would be late. We ordered drinks, starter and mains before our designated waiter showed up. We had already finished our starter. We actually preferred the host more than the waiter - too bad we couldn't switch back. No explanation was given for the delay. The waiter, who had braces on his teeth, seemed pretentious and had untrustworthy vibes. At the end of service, I tipped accordingly to the 1 star service I received, and it was obviously upsetting to our waiter because he was completely silent - I didn't even receive the usually "thank you for visiting, I hope you and your family have a great night" send off. Complete silence. Food was delicious. We had octopus main, pork shank, and baja tacos. Drinks were top notch. Too bad that service was lacking, I was really hoping that this would be the meal to remember in Cabo. I received better service from hole in the wall tacqueias than a Michelin-recommended establishment. I hope they lose their Bib Gourmand status or significantly improve their service.

Went here on a cruise tour. It was a special workshop where we made drinks and authentic Mexican cuisine. We made empanadas, cerviche, and tortillas. We were also served a main dish. I had fish and it was good. The dessert was like flan but tasted much better. It was a very hot day but they did have little fans on the table. The glass bottled water was $8 U.S. Bathroom stall was mostly clean but the floor was wet.

I’m SO glad we decided to do the cooking class. The evening started with a tour of the restaurant which highlighted the nuances and attractions of the location. (The restaurant grows their own herbs in a garden in the corner of the restaurant) We had a fun time making our cocktail. Roberto our chef made the explanations, instructions and demonstrations so clear and easy to follow along. Our server Job was so attentive to us. We made two appetizers and a cocktail. They cooked the main and flaun. Everything was so delicious!! Sure we could have just eaten dinner, but the cooking lessons and tour made the night extra special.

We ate here as part of a cruise excursion...however I would eat here any time! We had a light and refreshing ceviche, followed by a roasted pork leg with chicharrones. It was all superb!
Shawn M — Google review
We did a class on making food. They greeted us with sangria and moved on to tell about their gardens and what they use in their food. From there, we stayed making food. We made a cocktail, ceviche, empanadas, and a fish taco. They rounded out the meal with a pork shank and followed it with flan. Cute place outdoors and I can only imagine what it looks like when the sun goes down.

Really cool place. Food is very unique. The Rib tacos were tasty. Wasn't a fan of fish. Drinks were quite pricey. Service was exceptional 👌

Transportation in Cabo San Lucas

Getting around Cabo San Lucas can be a little daunting if you’re new here. We can help list some of the major public transportation methods if you don’t want to rely on a car.

Los Cabos International Airport

Airport
Los Cabos International Airport, with the code SJD, is a major airport in Mexico offering direct flights to Cabo San Lucas from various international destinations. Located in San Jose del Cabo, it provides convenient access to the popular tourist area of Cabo San Lucas. The airport features a range of amenities including restaurants such as RosaNegra Cabo, which offers diverse menus and special services for occasions like bachelorette parties and romantic dinners.
I recently spent some time in Cabo San Lucas. I was really impressed with the updates made in just 1 year. They have automated the immigration process on entry and exit. The airport itself is very nice, clean and well serviced. My visit really made me look forward to returning, just like before, only most so because of the ease and security precautions implemented. My flights were on time arriving and departing. I hope that should you fly into SJD Airport that your experience is as good as mine has been.
Geo-T22 P — Google review
Very decent experience, while the airport is in need of some renovation and remodeling, it was very well efficiently run! The immigration officer was kind too

SJD airport is a small airport which makes things easier when moving around from checking bags and the correct boarding gate. Plenty of places to eat along the way
Jesus M — Google review
SJD Airport is modern, clean, and pretty easy to navigate. Just recently came back from Cabo. Getting through immigration was quick and efficient, making the process stress-free. On the way back home, the VIP lounge is a great option for relaxing before your flight. It's stylish, comfortable, and with attentive service. Servers come directly to your seat to take orders from a small menu which includes drinks and small meals. The food is just okay (I tried the chicken fajitas, which were a bit dry, likely from sitting under a heat lamp), but the service and overall lounge experience more than make up for it.

Watch out for the “Duty Free” stores. They mark items “half price” and then charge full price. When I saw they overcharged me they said oh it will show up as a credit with your bank. Wrong, that’s not how that works. Double check your bill before paying. Scammers even in the airport. When you arrive it’s relatively painless and easy to navigate to customs. When departing the security line moves quickly, but dumps right into Duty Free shopping.

Flew in via SWA from Houston. Getting luggage and going through immigration was pretty painless. We had already prearranged transport to our resort but you have to walk through this area full of people trying to offer you transport. We were told by our driver to basically ignore them and head outside to the pickup area. Upon flying out everything went smoothly except that nobody in our party saw the self checkin lines to the left. We ended up in the SWa line for maybe 15 minutes total. They are very good at finding those items that you’re not supposed to have in your bags so make sure to get rid of those beforehand. We got to see more of the airport after checking in. There are lots of shops for things to buy if you want to take something back. The bathrooms didn’t seem plentiful. I only saw the ones downstairs in the food court area. They were just okay.

Small but decent. The airport is very cute, it is small but it is actually bustling. I deplaned on the outside and walked in. There was no immigration, just bag scanner and then on the outside. WiFi inside the airport and works great. When leaving the airport for return flight the area for waiting was small but had a Starbucks, convenience store and I also saw a Wings restaurant among others. We also boarded outside.

Easy to get through both on the way in and on the way out. The beer outside the terminal is not cheap and the mixed drinks aren't either. Think like you're at a sporting event. Lol. The rental car shuttles are convenient and close but not on site. The way out is super efficient and was a breeze to get through security if you're a seasoned traveler.
