Japanese restaurant
Sushi restaurant
Arts & Sushi is a Japanese restaurant located in Plaza Bonita, by the serene waters of Cabo San Lucas Marina. The chef and his skilled team serve up an array of delectable sushi, sashimi, and Japanese dishes with creative flair. The restaurant offers a lovely terraced patio where diners can enjoy their meals while overlooking the calm marina waters dotted with yachts. Visitors can expect fresh and flavorful sushi, possibly caught just hours before off the coast of Cabo.
Beautiful Japanese place on the marina. Food was wonderful and Ramone was lovely. The tempura was fantastic, as was the spicy cabo roll. The signature ceviche was also fabulous and the kids enjoyed their soft shell crab handrolls and yakitori. Would definitely go back. Usd$200 for 5 which felt reasonable given how good the food and view was.
D K — Google review
One of my favorite sushi places in the Marina area. Always consistent and delicious. 👍 Food options for the sushi and non-sushi eater. 👍 Great service! 👍 Awesome vibe. 👍 Nice extra touches including chilled wine glasses, side sauces provided with everything (spicy mayo, sriracha, eel sauce), etc. 👎 Prices are a little high (my only minor complaint).
Erin K — Google review
Food was decent, but not the exorbitant cost they charge decent. Menu doesn't have prices listed next to the dishes, that should have been my first clue. For two people, we ordered the platter of 3 shrimp tacos, I ordered a small octopus ceviche, a tempura shrimp plate (which was the soggiest, oil drenched tempura shrimp I've ever had. Zero crunch on the tempura, which is the exact same shrimp in the tacos), plus one mojito and one other drink. $111 USD plus about $20 tip the server wrote on the ticket without even giving me the option.

We brought them some of our Tuna that we caught for them to make for us later and I must say that was some of the best sushi we've ever had! Service was top of the line! Highly recommend!

Say Hola to Ramone and Caesar for us! This was our first time here and WOW! Ramone took very good care of us. The food will not disappoint!! Great place to get drink and a great place to get sushi! Honestly even better here than sushi in the states.
Stephanie B — Google review
Best Sushi I have had in Cabo so far. You will not be disappointed. Great location!!! Right at the ramp in the marina. Highly recommended. Especially on Tues which is half price.
Raymond C — Google review
Brought some fresh tuna we caught less than an hour before on a fishing charter. For $20 a person the chef made us 10 different dishes, each more incredible and delicious than I have ever had
Matt A — Google review
This place was one of the best sushi places in Cabo. The service is top notch. You are right on the boardwalk of the marina and can catch views of boats coming back into the dock. We went on Tuesday, which is half-priced food and ended up spending about $100 for the two of us, which included a couple drinks each and a bottle of cold Sake. The sashimi tastes fresh and the sauces that come with all the plates are rich in flavor.

Sushi restaurant
Japanese Kaiseki and Sushi Luna by Haru Furuta is a dining experience that showcases Chef Haru's mastery in creating delectable dishes. The restaurant offers an entertaining way to witness his passion for food, with dishware and ingredients imported from Japan. The attention to detail in the presentation of each dish adds to the overall aesthetic appeal. Despite being located in Cabo, the quality of the fish used for sushi is extraordinary, providing a taste reminiscent of traditional Japanese sushi.
I have been to a lot of authentic Japanese restaurants in both Japan and New York City and Sushi Luna is definitely one of the top in terms of the fish quality and the balance of flavor! The toro is so fatty and I love the unagi a lot. After talked with the team, I get to know that the chef used to work for Kyubey, which is a very famous Japanese restaurant that served president Obama before. A very great experience and much, much cheaper than NYC!
Thomas L — Google review
What an incredible sushi experience! We had a fantastic time at Sushi Luna by Haru Furuta for dinner last week. Sushi is the best we've ever eaten, anywhere. This is not your typical sushi restaurant but more of a fine dining sushi experience. They had a 3 prix fixe options and we chose the middle priced one (I think it was priced at $1750 pesos) and were delighted by the different selections. Chef and staff were wonderful.
David D — Google review
Awesome experience at Sushi Luna. They were able to squeeze us in last minute when I messaged them on their WhatsApp number. We were excited to go as only half of us had been to a Omakase before. The staff were incredible, over the top nice and attentive. Chef Haru was so good and friendly as well. We loved the food and it was incredibly reasonably priced for Omakase. The experience rivaled our visit to Omakase Yume in Chicago (Michelin starred)
Anna S — Google review
What a delightful omakase experience in Cabo! The chef is a true professional who is elevating the Japanese omakase scene in Cabo. If you're looking for ramen or California roll, this is not your place! But if you're searching for an authentic omakase experience where the chef is meticulous about the fish sourced, sushi rice he cooks and what side dishes to complement the fish, this is it!! We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and chatting with the chef. The service from the staff is also very attentive and on par with other omakase experience we've had in Tokyo, Taipei, SF and LA. We will sure be back to visit the next time we are in Cabo.
Betsy C — Google review
Best sushi I’ve ever had. Very fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place. Soy sauce, ginger, wasabi, and other sauces are all made in-house with high quality ingredients. Amazing service. Beautiful traditional Japanese ambiance. Everything tasted top notch. A must when you are in Cabo. Can’t wait to be back!
Inessa L — Google review
Outstanding food and amazing service from all the staff. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great Japanese dinner experience.
Matt K — Google review
Perfect. A real Japanese sushi experience. Omakase only, but worth the experience. Not a cheap date but is sushi ever? We did the full 16 course tasting and it was great. The only thing I can complain about is they need some artwork on the wall behind the chefs. Otherwise if you want a real omakase experiment this is your place.
Derek B — Google review
There are lots of places to have sushi in Cabo, but nowhere will else but Sushi Luna will it feel like such an incredible, special five star dining experience. I could not recommend this restaurant more. Thank you Sushi Luna for such a wonderful evening!

Funky Geisha is a popular Asian restaurant located in Acuario, Playa El Medano, Zona Hotelera Lote 2. It has gained fame among both locals and tourists for its trendy and lively atmosphere that seamlessly blends traditional Asian elements with modern decor. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience with a mix of tropical and elegant decorations. While the prices for food and drinks are on the higher side, visitors attest to the elevated experience that comes with it.
Appetizers ✨Drinks ✨Dinner ✨Desert ✨And Fireworks!!!! First of all the restaurant and presentation of everything is absolutely STUNNING ✨✨✨ Our experience, Everything was Top notch from beginning to end!!! The wine recommendation was perfect, decanted and poured beautifully 🙌 We were surprised with complementary wontons from the chef that were delicious, the dipping sauce that accompanied it was ahhmazing! Followed by veggie rolls… again Yummm The teriyaki skewers were really really good! The California roll (made with a soy wrap for us ) was pretty amazing! Then came our Chicken Pad Thai and Fried rice… Both were just as delicious!!! And to finish our meal we were recommended by Alex to try their “Best desert in Cabo” Guess what… he was right🤦🏼‍♀️ A Warm chocolate brownie with chocolate smothered almonds & nuts topped with a big ol scoop of vanilla ice cream……. Heaven in a bowl😜 As we were finishing our desert, we were given another surprise …… Beautiful Fireworks lit up the sky✨🤩✨🤩✨🤩✨🤩✨ Such an Amazing night!!! We Loved everything about our evening at The Funky Geisha!!!!! We wanna tell everyone about you guys….. But we kinda wanna keep you our secret 😘 Alex you and the rest of the staff Rocked!!!!!!!
Lisa D — Google review
The food was not the best. The view was absolutely amazing, service was kind of slow. The drinks were good. The crab rangoon was good, our tacos were a little bit dry and needed some more flavor. The Pad Thai, we got the mixture and it was fishy and lacking lots of flavors, it needed more spice too.
Brooke E — Google review
We stopped and had drinks at the bar while walking on the beach. Very nice bartender and good drinks. Very pricey $32 for a Pacifico and a Pina Colada. Love the decor. It is right next to a very clubby resort pool area but I didn't think their music really messed with the vibe of the restaurant. We visited during the day so it may be louder at night.
Angelina N — Google review
This place is nicely decorated and I’m sure it draws a good crowd during peak season, but don’t come here expecting a great meal. You’re mostly paying for the atmosphere and the location. Drinks? Sure. It’s a decent spot to grab a cocktail and enjoy the ambiance. Dinner? Hard pass. The food is mid at best, but the prices are outrageous for what you get. There’s no real justification for the markup, especially considering the quality. Service was fine until the very end, when things got weird. We noticed a 15% tip was already included in the check, which is fine—but when we asked our waiter, he told us it didn’t go to the waitstaff. According to him, it was split between the kitchen, bartenders, and hostess, and if we wanted to tip the waiters, that was extra. Not sure if that’s standard practice or if we were being double-tipped, but it definitely felt shady. Left feeling uneasy and a little scammed. Won’t be returning for dinner.
Lucia B — Google review
A+++ service and food. You will be chilling out and taken care of. Edamame, lettuce wraps, and cocktails were all great! Made for a nice day at the beach, did not feel rushed. Nice attentive service. They always made sure you have shade, comfy seats, and your drinks are cold. Places and hospitality like this make a vacation nice :)
Evelina R — Google review
Great spot by the beach. Tasteful EDM music next door at the hotel attached to the bar and restaurant. Alan was our waiter and he was helpful with recommendations on where to go next and where was safe for tourists
Tory K — Google review
This restaurant is only worth any stars simply for the location. It’s beautiful, right on the beach with stunning table settings. But the food is terrible and the service is worse. The only thing that was decent was the hamachi with jalapeño. My best friend booked this dinner for the both of us for my birthday. They sat us down and it took an hour just to get drinks. The food took another hour. By that time we didn’t want to stay for my birthday cake nor to order a bottle, which is a shame because we were willing and ready to spend lots of money. We got no apologies for the service, nor for the power outage they had which the latter isn’t their fault but it would’ve been nice for the acknowledgment. We were hardly tended too, and felt ignored. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review, but for the money and the type of establishment this is supposed to be, the service was disappointing.
Addis B — Google review
PLEASE AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. I went here for my birthday, hoping that the negative reviews were some bad apples, and boy was I WRONG. Food was cheap resort level, service was terrible (rushed us to order when we were the only table there and then barely checked in on us and took forever to bring us the bill). They charged us $70 for water for our table and none of us even got refills. They said we could have had house water for free but they never offered house water, they just asked us if we wanted sparkling or still. The decor was cute, but the music from the restaurant was competing with taboo upstairs and really just ruined the vibe. This place is shady, offers low quality food and service, and simply is not worth the money. If you want a nice dinner with a view and willing to pay the price go to Cocina Del Mar or Mona Lisa. All the negative reviews about this place are right. No wonder we were the only table

Japanese restaurant
Restaurant
Koi Sushi is a small sushi restaurant located in Plaza San Lucas, San Jos del Cabo. Despite its unassuming atmosphere, it offers some of the most delicious and fresh rolls in the area. The menu includes a wide variety of fresh sushi, sashimi, and other Asian delicacies. While not all creative offerings are listed on the menu, asking for the specials of the day is recommended. The restaurant is popular among locals and visitors alike due to its great service and reasonable prices.
Great place to enjoy the evening with friends and sushi. We had a party of 8 and ordered a large selection of sushi and drinks. i had excellent cucumber Salad with crab.
Duncan M — Google review
7/10 The hostess received us with a bad attitude and no desire to work. The food was good. We’ve been coming here for years and the food has always been consistent. The ingredients were fresh and perfectly balanced. The dishes take a while to come out, even though the place was not full. Lots of flies! 4 ⭐ Food quality. 3 ⭐ Service. 4 ⭐ Price (regarding variety-portion-quantity-taste/flavorful -presentation-quality-price). 5 ⭐ Atmosphere/nice music/cleaning/restrooms/indoor/outdoor. 5 ⭐ Parking. 2015 Comments: Food is fantastic and the prices are fair. Highly recommend over other sushi places in Cabo. Great service, great value. As locals is our go-to place for sushi. Who says the best sushi is made by Asians? Ahahaha! Sake is delicious. Perfect for lunch or dinner. Ask for the chef specialty (NOT IN THE MENU). JUST ASK! **No reservation required.
Sol G — Google review
Koi started small many years ago and grew because of its excellent food and prices. Several years back that quality dropped off, but after several recent visits I feel it’s back. Though not a 5 star, the food and service is good. What makes it even better is that the pricing is still reasonable, unlike most Cabo sushi spots. The sushi is good, the ingredients are fresh. The cooked food and yakimeshi rice are often a bit too salty, but still good. Solid experience.
B — Google review
A friend recommended this place and said it’s one of the best sushi places in Cabo. It is pretty good, but to be fair I am not a big fan of sushi. I got the tempura and rice which were great, and a spicy roll. A little to soft for me, but some other rolls our friends got were pretty good. Service was great there, it was packed with locals, it’s a very popular place. I would recommend it, if your a sushi lover and the prices are reasonable
Stephen S — Google review
The sushi is delicious and it is fresh. The staff is friendly and some speak a little English in case you don’t know Spanish.

Mariskoi is now the new make of this restaurant. Opened at 12:10 even as the door posted 11:30 This place was friendly and tasty even though they didn’t open on time. Mexican minute applies lol Shrimp shown below packs a punch and its great to see him go to work. Wish gloves or protective garments are used instead of hands.

I must say this place is wonderful! The Alex roll has it all. Great tasting and at a great price. One of the best, if not the best roll, we have eaten. Some people think it has too much favor. That's what makes the world go round! Once again we had a great lunch here. The staff is very helpful. We enjoyed eating here then off to Walmart after. What a treat to have freshly made sushi here in Cabo. Right next to Walmart in the food court. The service and food was great! We had a soft crab spider roll and shrimp tempura. The shrimp tempura was only shrimp without the tempura vegetables. It was very delicious. Well done, I must say!

The food is AMAZING and the service is good. However, the bartender is a real weak link in a good team! He has a terrible attitude, in an important position, in the establishment! It’s a shame that one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch!

Sushi restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Cabo San Lucas, Daikoku stands out as a premier destination for Japanese cuisine. Since its inception in 2014, this restaurant has been delighting diners with an extensive menu that features everything from fresh sushi and sashimi to sizzling teppanyaki dishes. The inviting atmosphere makes it perfect for families looking to enjoy a meal together without breaking the bank.
It was our first time here and our last dinner in cabo before leaving the next morning. All the food we had ordered was delicious. The cocktails were also amazing. The fish tasted very fresh and had no smell. We enjoyed every bit of it, and our server was great. Thank you for making it special as well by giving us a dessert for our anniversary. I'm sad that we couldn't finish it. The best fried tempura ice cream. The batter was my favorite part. I will definitely come back here again next year.

Just the perfect experience in Cabo !! Service is outstanding better than “ Michelin “ restaurants, Luciano waiter took good care of us . Such a valuable person . Best recommendation ever . Thanks for this amazing new year dinner experience. Prices are super good too . Example shrimp roll just -$9 usd . Delicious

Daikoku has upped its game to a new level! They have beautiful new menuz and have expanded their selection. We tried several new things, including maguro soaked in sake (absolutely fabulous), mushroom soup (hot and tasty), a new roll with salmon and tuna (excellent), and excellent salmon sashimi, among other usual favorites. If you haven't been in awhile, go again! Tge word is spreading and by the time we left, people were streaming in. It is a must go for sushi lovers in Cabo! Salvador is always there welcoming guests with a smile. He has a great team too.

Wow, we were pleasantly surprised dining here for dinner. Considering it's on the main strip, it's decently priced and they were playing Hispanic music (vs American music like every place on the strip), which we enjoyed. When we travel, we want to feel like we're actually out of the country, and we definitely felt this at this restaurant. Really nice staff. We sat at one of the waterfall tables, was really cool. Never been to a restaurant like this, very unique ambiance. We got the garlic edamame, a sushi roll (Arcoiris Especial), Maguro Zuke (our favorite )and seafood fried rice, all very good.
Sam V — Google review
This place is a gem. The menu selection is good. Each dish has authentic ingredients. The green tea tastes really good. The service is excellent. The flavors for each dish are very good but I would say not authentic. Japanese cuisine tends to taste subtle and shows the freshness of the ingredients. The food here tends to be slightly salty or flavorful in general. Warning: the serving size is big.

Amazing food and ambience. I had the best Asian food for a budget friendly cost. Their quantity is very good! We loved it so much that we visited this place multiple times!

Very good Japanese restaurant in Cabo’s. The dining environment is very unique. Food is great. I ordered noodles and it also come with tempera. I thought it will just a little bit on the side, but it was a lot and crispy. Fried rice is awesome, you have to have it.

The facade suggests a small eatery, but then one enters into a large space of. courtyard seating as well as indoors. There’s a large bar inside. I had high expectations for any restaurant (outside Japan) that calls itself Japanese. —- Let’s face Japanese cuisine is simple, clean techniques, flavorful food, delicate textures and terrific table presentation. Along with French and Italian cuisines, Japanese gustatory culture is also an art. Upon opening the thick menu of this place, my heart sank🤢🤢🤢. It lists every conceivable category of Japanese cooking that NONE of the Japanese master chefs or ex-pats with Michelin stars to their name would ever do or claim they can do. —- Good Japanese chefs on concentrate on what they do best. It’s shocking that there’s cream cheese in about 2/3rds of the Maki (rolls) section. —- Cheese DOES NOT exist in Japanese cuisine.🤬🤬🤬 —- Putting cheese in Maki is an affront to the Japanese gustatory culture 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. Anyway, I decided to try 2 simple dishes. 1. Tempura—- a large plate comes in, piping hot, nice dipping sauce, BUT THE BATTER IS THICK FOR A TEMPURA 👎👎👎 2. Sashimi - I requested a mixed tuna and salmon. Their “Grueso” thick cut. But it’s really the standard cut one always get in a good Japanese restaurant!!! —The fillets are not sashimi cuts but a haphazard chops👎👎👎 — it came with a horrible tasting flavored soy sauce that has been sugared and the mixed with lime juice…WHY??? Plain soy sauce has been with the Japanese sushi/sashimi for centuries! IT’S A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. If the cook can’t make a decent tempura and serve a good sashimi, I’m afraid to try their other listings.👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

The Tiki Bar offers a lively tiki-inspired atmosphere, featuring the freshest sushi and a full bar with sake and live music, making it an excellent choice for a relaxed dining experience. In addition to sushi, the menu includes options like burgers, Buffalo wings, sandwiches, and an all-you-can-eat selection. Visitors can enjoy ocean-to-table dishes prepared with freshly caught yellowfin tuna.
The Tiki Bar is one of our favorite spots, and we make sure to visit several times a year. The atmosphere is unbeatable—there’s nothing like sitting and soaking in the stunning views while enjoying the laid-back vibe. The drinks are always fantastic, and the service is friendly and attentive. Whether you’re there for a quick escape or a longer stay, it’s the perfect place to relax and take in everything that makes Cabo special. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot to unwind!

The Tiki Bar is conveniently located right in the marina of Cabo San Lucas. We caught some fish on our charter boat, and they cooked it up for us for cheap. There was enough to have it cooked 4 different ways for tacos which was served with salsa, guac and sour cream. Also noteworthy was the delicious mango margarita!
Luis D — Google review
The best place to take your catch and have it cooked several ways, just trust them. Great breakfast also. Definitely try the Serranito Rolls, amazing.

Our family ate here on our last night in Cabo. We were all saying that we wish we would have come sooner! The food was fantastic, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was a ton of fun! We will be back.

Back again, 6/12/25. New employees, but still great service! Me Absolutely love this place. Great spot on the marina. Very friendly. Fair prices. Gonna be back down there in June. Big Hefe' Carlos is great. Their Mexican style sushi is even better than last trip. Sit near the front of the restaurant and enjoy the view. Ignore the street vendors. They'll get bored and leave you alone.
Lee S — Google review
OMG, this place is amazing. First they cooked our catch of Dorado better than we ever could have imagined. Carlos and his excellent cooks made shashimi, sushi nigiri, tempura, breaded, blackened, S&P and garlic butter versions. Best experience ever. Great drinks and amazing singer guitar player entertainment. I will eat here again and recommend above all other marina restaurants. Perfect atmosphere!

Tazuna is a popular restaurant known for its good food and sushi. Customers have enjoyed dishes like the Maki roll, chicken teriyaki, gyozas, and edamame. The red sunset beverage was described as very sweet. The service at Tazuna is highly praised, with specific waiters like Ruben and Manuel receiving special mentions for their excellent service. The restaurant offers a nice selection of raw and cooked sushi, making it suitable for various preferences.
Stayed at a condo in Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. We tried Tazuna on our last night at the resort, and had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, I wish we had heard of Tazuna earlier during our stay so we could go back. The wait was an hour on a Saturday night - which seemed typical for the time of year and 5 weddings occurring on-site that weekend. The staff were very friendly and the outdoor area had a nice view of the ocean. We ordered an assortment of sushi and appetizers - all which were presented well and tasted fresh and delicious. I recommend eating here if you're staying at the resort!

Ruben was such a great waiter and added to our experience. He had great recommendations and delivered food, slowly throughout our meal so we were able to really enjoy each dish.

Outstanding food with great service! We visited twice in our week-long stay. Delicious! Our server was excellent and very professional. He also had a great personality and was very funny. Younger man with braces, his service was on the money! Wish I could remember his name. I highly recommend him. Edit: ask for "Manuel"

Shark Ink was so amazing I can not say enough about this restaurant! The moment we walked in we were greeted and told welcome home. The service was spectacular as 4 people were helping us to make sure we had everything we wanted. The host even recommended an amazing drink cocktail which blew our minds. Manager was weird, kind of had an attitude. Ate a meal at a table by himself. Yelled at an employee where we could hear him.

Great sushi! Our server Karen was kind and easy to talk to, was definitely a memorable part about our trip to Cabo. The food was delicious. Menu can be confusing if you're used to American sushi restaurants but whatever you get will be delicious. The whole staff was friendly, kind, and patient. Will definitely recommend Mahi Sushi to others visiting the area.

In Italy sushi is pretty easy to find and e head really good experiences but this was for sure the best sushi we have ever had. It's a kind of artistic creation. A perfect match between East and West. Raw materials are amazing, but what makes the difference is the hand of the chef that puts a Mexican amazing plus on every dishes. You really have to come here, even if it's not so easy to see the restaurant. It's amazing also the restaurant and the service. No excuses, if you are in cabo, you have to try the best sushi of ever

Jessica L — Google review
A FOODIE’S FIND OF SUSHI/SASHIMI in Cabo. It’s as close to the finesse of Japanese raw fish preparation as it may get😎😎😎. It adheres to the simple clean fresh preparations of sushi/sashimi. NONE OF THOSE CHEESE-CONTAINING VERSIONS, which are the worst corruptions of a great culinary art. - there are still a few rolls with exposed fish and not wrapped in nori, but it looks the chefs do not drown them in sauces 👍👍👍 - the sushi rice is Japonica as it should be👏👏👏 Sushi/sashimi are served either a la carte OR as chef selection platters.😎😎😎 The pièce de la résistance is the Omakase, which surprisingly includes a tasting of Wagyu cleverly disguised as sushi. The menu includes a short list of noodles (ramen, udon), and a handful of cooked dishes. Service is excellent. The restaurant doesn’t have a sign in front, but the address is correct on a corner of crossing streets. It’s a short 5-7 min walk from Cabo marina. It’s larger than could be visualized from the outside. It’s got great ambiance, simple decor highlighting wood panels/beams. There are 2 serving rooms. Highly recommended.

Omakase was the best!! Incredibly fresh and fast. 2nd time here. Will definitely be back!
Martha P — Google review
Wonderful sushi! The portions are larger than I expected- so we’ll worth it! Try the match tea and the rice drink - both are refreshing. Be forewarned that the location doesn’t have a sign or any indication that it’s there. Personally, I love that part. It stays low key and less crowded that way.
Amy H — Google review
The place has no signs but don’t worry you’re in the right place. The service is good, the prices are fair and the food is great. Raul and the team knocked it out with the awesome sushi. Good place if you want some sushi
Mike M — Google review
To me, the most important thing about sushi is their sushi rice. And although I wasn’t expecting the best sushi ever, I can say the fish sushi bar knocked it out of the park for me! Sushi rice, freshness in quality was amazing!!! I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered. I’m not sure if the business is doing a hole in the wall feel, but it was confusing upon entry since I couldn’t find the business name/sign at the front or near the door. Miso soup is better than most in the Bay Area. I ordered a salmon and avocado roll, toro nigiri, and uni nigiri. Everything was spectacular!! My fiancé had a chicken teriyaki lunch bento box since he doesn’t really care for raw stuff, that was really good too! Highly recommend!
Cin — Google review
Unbelievably fresh fish with phenomenally cooked rice. Can’t speak to the Ramen and the tempura was pretty average. But the Nigiri and the sushi was phenomenal. We have already gone twice on this trip and I will likely go one more time before we leave. Lol. Incredible sushi!

The place is good, nice decor, the food is ok. I had sushi and miso soup. The miso was kind of different for me, I used to live in Japan, and Canada, so excellent Japanese food is something I really appreciate. I don't give 5 stars because they didn't treat me well. I'm an old lady, I dress old fashion way, I do not look like a rich lady. Anyways, the employees were not nice, I had to call them a few times to be attended. I asked them to clean the table, the waiter pretended to serve my food in a dirty table. The washroom had issues that need to be fixed ASAP. You know, I am always honest with my comments, but this time I am not happy with their behavior. When I left the place I say good afternoon and thank you. Unfortunately, I had no response from the employees. I will never come back there. Give it a try to the food, it is ok. However do not expect much from the servers.

The food here tasted very good but the problems that I had with it is I found a hair in my sushi and I already started eating from the sushi they took it back and gave me a new one and I order a chicken teriyaki dish as I’m eating I notice that my tongue is starting to feel itchy and I am allergic to shrimp not badly but it’s still not good for me to eat I then later found out after I left the place I found a piece of shrimp in my food this is honestly unacceptable because if I was a person who had really bad allergies I could’ve been in serious danger so I say to the place please be careful with what you put into the food and make sure you’re not cross contaminating the food because you can seriously get people sick and hurt also the hair in the sushi is just disgusting please be careful with how you make the food like I said the food was good just have to make sure that people’s hair is tied or in a hair net and don’t cross contaminate meat and seafood when it wasn’t asked for please just make sure you check the food before sending it out.

We took a chance on this place, and we were pleasantly surprised. Most sushi rolls in México have cream cheese as an ingredient. Luckily Tabu has lots of options without cream cheese. Our waiter and the manager were very friendly and took great care of our family. Taco queto, el crunchy, and the mixed fried rice dishes were delicious. Although we only had lemonade, there is a full bar and many beer choices. We ordered a lot of food and the bill was extremely reasonable. Good place for a family dinner.

We ordered rolls only because it was first time and it seemed easier for delivery but I will definitely try the rest of the menu next time! The tuna in spicy tuna was delicious.

Awesome place! Incredible view, great prices (about $15USD per person for a full meal with two courses and a big drink), a bit small but that's like the street vibe of the place, GREAT service, very quick and overall very light vibes, 10/10 would recommend.

We craved sushi on our first night of vacation in Cabo. Found this place via a quick Google search. Approaching the location is a bit unassuming. It is located on the second level, on top of a roadside store built of shipping containers. The location is a quaint, little space with counter seating that overlooks the sea of Cortez. We had the place all to ourselves this Wednesday night. The service was great and the sushi was fantastic. Highly recommended. We will be back when in Cabo again.

Very pleasantly surprised with the food, service and ambiance. Came in as tourists to a more local eatery. The sushi was incredible. Authentic.. Maguro Rodriguez rolls were our fave. Our waiter was amazing.. went the extra mile for sure.

The food was good. The rice was very good quality. They did not have many fish options - only tuna and curel (the day I went). What I really liked was that all of the food came out really really hot!! Also the unfiltered sake was great! Our waiter was Filemón!
Michelle B — Google review
Outstanding sushi spot that’s worth the drive from Cabo! The spicy tuna roll had incredibly fresh, buttery fish, and their signature favorito roll was fire, and the house-made eel sauce and chipotle mayo was unlike anything I’ve had. Even the tea was high quality. As someone who seeks out sushi everywhere I travel, I can confidently say this rivals spots I’ve tried while living in Hawaii, California, and Florida. Best of all, prices are reasonable since it’s outside the tourist zone—expect to pay about $30/pp

Great place, wonderful food. Quick and catering service. Definitely will go back and recommend to anyone looking for good sushi

Where is the fish? If you like rice and sweet sauces, this is a place to come. They don’t put hardly any fish on any of their rolls. If you pay by credit card, you’re not allowed to tip If you wanna pay by your phone, good luck, they don’t do that here Check your bill the last three out of five times there’s been additional charges for products we never ordered or never received. Like bottled water. They are dog friendly.

Phenomenal sushi and very fairly priced. Our favorite rolls were the Maguro, Rainbow and OK rolls. Four people, more sushi than we could finish and sake, with a decent tip for the excellent staff and chefs was US$115.

Great sushi rolls! Each time I go I am amased by the textura and favor combinations they have. Definitely worth a try! But, if you come once you'll be back again!
Adam C — Google review
By far the best sushi I have ever eaten. Don’t bother with the menu just sit at the bar and tell the chef to feed you until you are full. He makes it all in front of you and will continue until you say stop. Each roll was made to perfection. Each roll had its own flavor with all ingredients complimenting one another. I will continue coming here and sending everyone I know to this place. Prices are extremely low for all that you get.

I dunno what Sanjay is talking about who posted two days before me. I am here with my wife and we have been accommodated so well. The Margs were stiff and the service was so attentive. The music playlist was great. The decor awesome. And this shouldn't be such a big factor, but this is the only place we've been where the wifi does not crawl at a snail's pace. If you have any sizable emails to send out, this is the place to do it. We ordered pork dumplings which were amazing. A hand roll tuna thing that was delicious. And a rice bowl which was off the charts. We didn't order sushi this time but it was good prices for such a clean looking spot!!

Worst service ever!!!! The waitress took so long to take our order. It took us over 20 minutes to have our drinks ready, and there were only three groups of people in the whole restaurant (9 people at most). I never write a bad review, but I swear you do not want to eat here! We tried cancelling because they did not even start cooking our dish, but when we ask the waiter to cancel she rushed the cook into making our plates.
Louise H — Google review
This is someone's idea of Mexican fusion meets conveyor belt sushi at best. Sorry, but this is NOT what you expect when you go to eat sushi. We made the mistake of coming there expecting something completely different after eating many days of Mexican and poolside cabana food we just were wanting something a little different; lighter/ healthier. I should have taken note that several reviewers said it's 'good for kids and families'- to me that is usually means 'red flag' as families just want to stuff their faces and get full for the least amount of money spent. The sushi rolls were very unique (strange at best) with ingredients I would never ever expect to see in sushi; like cream cheese or shaved carrots, or mango purees and other creamy sauces to pretty up a plate. The server seemed puzzled when we asked about ingredients and my girlfriend speaks fluent Español so language wasn't the barrier. Just some better training was needed by the chef or owner. We barely ate more than a bite and when we paid the server seemed surprised that we didn't want to-go boxes. Lesson learned: don't eat sushi in Cabo. Stick to the well beaten path of go to restaurants regardless of the time wait.

The Fish Sushi Bar, which opened its doors in October 2019, has quickly gained a reputation for its exceptional sushi and sashimi. Visitors have praised the quality of the sushi rice and the freshness of the ingredients. The bar offers a unique experience with options for foot massages and small spa treatments while enjoying drinks.

Hands down the best sushi in Cabo San Lucas, I love the food here. The kurrikames are perfect and delicious, their Yakimeshi fried rice is something to live for, no lie. A RAMEN LACKING IN JAPANESE VIBE. Located in "Plaza Golden" in Cabo San Lucas this small restaurant looks unclean and the furniture is old. My table was actually filthy, looking around I was afraid I was going to see a cockroach or something, fortunately that didn't happen which is amazing due to the conditions of the place. The service is o.k. but when I got served they brought me a spicy ramen even though I specially requested it mild... But not just that the noodles where practically undone, the eggs weren't well done as I also requested previously and the ingredients they use are mere substitutes for the actual Japanese ones. They might say it's impossible to get the Japanese ingredients but that's not the situation here. I've tried ramen at many places here in Baja including here in Cabo and I'd never seen such lack of effort to accomplish making ramen taste like the way it's supposed to do. Yes, It looks like ramen but I'm sure even if you've never tried ramen as soon as you try this one you might get disappointed of ramen in general and that's sad. I'm not complaining to get anything, I don't care for that, I even tipped the waiter because it wasn't his fault but I just hope they read this and decide to improve their recipes.

Moma Sushi Bistro is a modern Japanese restaurant that has quickly made its mark on the sushi scene in Cabo. The decor is stunning and the food is top-notch, with incredibly fresh fish and beautifully crafted plates. The menu offers a variety of rolls, sashimi, and other dishes like teriyaki shrimp and miso udon soup. The drinks selection includes beers, cocktails, and refreshing options like natural lemonade.
Highly recommend! Just sat down at the bar and the chef created the best sushi experience ever. Learned alot as he explains the process and sampled fish that was new to me. Finish was perfect with warmed Saki

We were very impressed with this restaurant! The waiter was very helpful - we went with a few of his recommendations and they were all amazing. I highly recommend the miso udon soup and the cilantro roll in particular. Even their soy sauce is extra special - it has added orange and lime flavours 🤩

It's decent sushi. Quiet part of Cabo. Very nice service. They offer 3 for 2 on Mondays/Wednesdays and Fridays.

Momas’s is awesome! It’s only been open 7 months and a serious addition to the sushi scene in Cabo. The decor is modern Japanese and very beautiful, we tried some spicy tuna sashimi, the cucumber roll, the Baja roll and one other roll and the teriyaki shrimp- all incredible! Fish is super fresh and plates are beautifully crafted. They also have a selection of beers, cocktails, we wanted wine but they were out so we ordered the natural lemonade which was super refreshing. Can’t wait to go back !

Sushi restaurant
Osaka Sushi in Cabo is a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts. The restaurant offers an array of delectable options, including the highly recommended tostadas, mango roll, and crunchy onion roll. Diners rave about the fresh and generous portions served at this favorite sushi spot. However, it's advisable to inquire about spice levels before ordering as some dishes may be too spicy for certain palates.
Hidden gem for sure!!!! Found this place because we had a soccer game down the street. The drinks are AMAZING and the food is fresh and tasty. We’ve been several times and the quality is always on point. Sushi is fresh and tasty. Service is quick.

Best sushi in Cabo, and the mezcalitas here at 👌👌👌 highly recommend anything here. Especially tostadas, mango roll, crunchy onion roll and everything else we had was great but those are my favorites.

La Bocana Seafood Bar is a hidden gem in Cabo, known for its amazing mojitos and great sushi with super fresh fish. The friendly service and cool atmosphere make it a perfect spot to relax with a drink while enjoying the breeze. The owners are very appreciative of their patrons and even use curry in some of their flavorful dishes. Although there was an unfortunate incident reported by one visitor, others have had positive experiences at this restaurant and would recommend giving it a try.
We ended up here on New Year’s Day and they took great care of us. Unique sushi dishes including a “ceviche roll” and delicious smoked fish tostadas.
Kenny M — Google review
The food is impeccably delicious and fresh, and I never feel like I order enough to try. Im from Seattle, and I rarely like raw fish (usually tempura sushi), but I cant get enough of sashimi at this restaurant. The staff is incredible, and the food is unbeatable. This is a must-try restaurant!
Michelle — Google review
Go here, immediately! The food was outstanding, and Jacob our server was so attentive and helpful. There were so many shining stars of our meal. The tuna tostada to start was so fresh and tangy. The black and white sashimi was some of the best I’ve had. We loved the Tokyo roll and a couple others. And then the flank steak nachos (recommend a side of guacamole!) was a delicious addition to our sushi feast.
Haley L — Google review
Delicious and great quality! I was extremely impressed with the successful fusion of mexican flavors into the roles. My favorite was the salmon lime roll and the lobster roll. I also really liked their piña colada.
Carsten S — Google review
Literally the best sushi in Cabo. I tried the sashimi this time and it was incredible. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is beautiful and looks out towards the marina. It is fair priced and just an all around wonderful experience 😊
CJ G — Google review
Fantastic food and great service. Little family owed and operated. The fish dishes were so yummy, and the sushi was top level. Both the fish and sushi menus offer options with fresh locally caught fish. We had their signature Bocana sashimi and the Bocana roll which both had fresh local yellow tail. It was the best yellow tail I've ever had. The Bocano roll is very spicy! (Contains yellow chili) I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good seafood or good sushi. It does take a bit of waiting for orders but you can tell it's because they are giving extra care to the quality of the food (plus it's a small family running it). They did bring us an extra appetizer (some little fish tostada) between our orders too and it was to die for. We'll be coming back here any time we come to Cabo.

So we happened to stop by this place on our first night in Cabo. The food was absolutely wonderful. On our walk home I started to feel sick. And then my stomach started to twist And I really wasn't feeling so hot after that, I got home and I took a shower and tried to lay down and then I started getting sick. It was a horrible night for me. I woke up the next morning because I was scheduled to go on a catamaran and I about canceled it and then I decided that I really just need to go on it. Probably the worst decision ever. I was so sick on that catamaran All I did was lay on the top of the boat and I didn't move. We got home and I canceled dinner for that night because we were supposed to go out for New Year's Eve dinner but I couldn't move I was so sick. I slept all that night my husband woke me up when the resort beside us was shooting off fireworks I woke up to see them and I went right back to bed. The next morning I woke up and I felt a hundred times better. My husband ate everything I ate minus the California roll. I think that the California roll made me sick. But other than that the food was actually fantastic some of the best sushi I've had. I don't want to bash the place because the food was so good but something did make me sick.

Holy Mackerel...Must come here!!! I've been in Mexico for the past three weeks, Mazatlan, Mexico City and now Cabo. I even at at Pujol (rated number 5 restaurant in the world) and nothing tasted quite like the Simple Tuna Tostada!!! They give you three sauces to use and I put a few on it, along with soy/wasabi... Remarkable!!! Best of the best don't waste your time!!! I am a real world traveler and have NOT been paid to do this Review! Oh and the amounts are in Pesos, not Dollars!!!

Sushi House is a lively restaurant with interactive chefs at the sushi bar. It's recommended to make reservations, and they offer great alternatives for non-sushi guests. The fish is incredibly fresh, as the owner catches the catch of the day himself and fillets it in-house. The presentation of the sushi is beautiful, and the flavors blend perfectly. Visitors were pleasantly surprised by this gem in Cabo, praising its friendly staff and delicious food.
We’ve been in this place 2 times during our stay in Cabo San Lucas and we liked it a lot. Delicious rolls, great service and fresh tuna was cut almost in front of us. You should definitely try it. Mango roll and top roll were the best :)

Visiting from Vancouver, Canada I definitely did not think I’d be at a sushi place in Mexico. But I suppose it’s not that big of a stretch since there’s such an abundance of amazing fresh seafood in Cabo. My wife and I were looking for another restaurant in the area but found that it was closed. We decided to give Sushi House a try and we were both pleasantly surprised! I did not expect much but this place is awesome from the friendly staff to the delicious food. I had a pork belly fried rice bowl and it was fantastic from the careful presentation to the mix of flavours. My wife enjoyed a poke bowl and she exclaimed that the rice used was excellent ( high praise since we are Asian and we eat rice daily 😁) Conclusion: give Sushi House a try! It’s just a short walk outside the tourist section of Cabo San Lucas

Found this place close to our hotel. The service was friendly and inviting. Six of us came in for lunch. We eat a lot of sushi and sushi at this place is just okay, ramen was salty, the loud rap music could have done without. Must be early 11 am, so to get the crew going, but it wasn't relaxing to us at all. Must be an off day. Ate and quickly departed.

De lejos, el mejor lugar en Cabo para sushi fresco. Tienes que probar Mango roll, edamame y los Curricanes!! Se sorprenderá! Wow!!.. Not a pretentious place but very clean and everything is fresh and great taste .. don't waste your time or money to try other places like I did ... this will satisfy your taste buds and it's light on your wallet ... I'm hooked on them .. ask for Jose for the special treat !

Great spot for sushi! Sunset Roll and Alaska were really good. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. You’ll walk away satisfied.
Rob V — Google review
This place is definitely one of the top sushi restaurants we've been to. We went for lunch on a Tuesday and were the first ones there. We couldn't decide what to order so we just asked them to make us whatever they wanted - and it was SO delicious. We would have gone back every day if we weren't leaving! Not pictured is the gyoza - also delicious and unique with the salmon, we just ate too quickly to take a photo. It's hard to pick a favorite, but I think if you were only able to try one thing, try the anguila (eel) handroll (this was chefs favorite). The eel is so buttery and is not too covered in sauce like most restaurants do. They let the anguila really shine. **I've come back to edit and say get the tostadas, too. Honestly, it's so hard to pick a favorite here! The strawberry on the tostada is such a creative touch and added a really interesting flavor. So good!** Thanks guys for picking everything for us and being so kind! Would even consider going back to Cabo just to go back to Sushi House.

I’ve eaten a lot of sushi throughout my life and this was by far the best sushi I’ve ever had! If you’re looking for sushi in Cabo, this is it. The fish is as fresh as you can get. The owner, José, catches their “catch of the day”himself and fillets it in house! The sushi presentation itself is beautiful and the flavors meld together perfectly. José is very personable and we could tell he really cared about his business and customers. We will definitely be back!

(Translated by Google) A place with very delicious dishes and preparations, we brought our own fish for the second time so they could prepare it and I really loved it! First place where the preparations do not taste excessively lemony, they prepared several options for us, they ask you your preferences between whether only sashimi, rolls or cooked. Very good humor from the Chef and the other staff, they have a small table for children next to the window, you can only sit inside and there are benches outside to have a few drinks or wait for an order. In the end the chef gave us to try an octopus crackling which was the same as everything we tried, very delicious, the dessert was also super delicious.
