Starka | Restaurant & Vodkas

$$$$affordable
Polish restaurant
Restaurant
Starka | Restaurant & Vodkas is a cozy 2-room restaurant and bar that offers a warm ambiance, modern hearty dishes, and an extensive selection of vodkas. The place exudes an authentic Polish atmosphere with its unique interior ornaments and delightful cocktail menu. Despite its simple interior, the addition of carbon drawings and caricatures adds an authentic touch to the establishment.
Amazing meal! We tried the roasted carrots and pear appetizer. For our main meals the beef cheeks were the favorite choice as the sauces that accompanied the meal were excellent. I had the duck that was well cooked. The salmon special had an amazing dill sauce. Overall a great meal and ambiance.
Joanna K — Google review
This restaurant was recommended to us by our tour guide. After checking out the reviews and seeing such positive feedback, we had to give it a try. We did not have a reservation, which I recommend, because I think we snagged the last table for lunch. The food was pretty good. We got the mixed dumplings, which were soft and succulent; a mushroom soup that was tasty, but not as good as the soup we had at Old Town Restaurant and Wine Bar;I’ll say the same for the pork knuckle, which was good, but did not have the same crispy skin we’ve crunched on before; finally, we had the beef cheeks, which were tender and flavorful, but I frankly think I could make the same dish at home. They had a bunch of homemade vodkas, so we had to try a few. We got blackberry, elderflower, and anise. They were all good, but the anise was just lovely. My hubby, who is not a drinker and three blackberry vodkas!!
B4Ikickit — Google review
The steak tartare is a must try ! As main we ordered beef cheek which was unexpectedly amazingly delicious and I would definitely recommend as a must try too. The pork knuckle was beautifully presented and delicious. Food quality and price is at a good balance and fair ! We reserved a table again on the day before we leaving to taste this great food again !
Sissy C — Google review
The staff were extremely kind in helping us find a table, and from the very beginning, we felt warmly welcomed. The experience went far beyond our expectations: the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and the dishes, traditional Polish cuisine with a modern twist, were simply outstanding. Every detail, from the presentation to the flavors, made our visit truly memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening!
William B — Google review
This spot was recommended by the tour guide as his personal favorite. It didn’t disappointment. The flavor was on point. Presentation was beyond. Love!! Highly recommend. Kinga was my server. She was friendly and made me feel welcome as a solo diner 😊.
Cathy H — Google review
A modern, Polish restaurant serving delicious food that’s well presented. The menu had a good range of options, and the food we ate was really tasty and good quality. We enjoyed the garden setting for our table, as it was comfortable and fairly quiet. I’d definitely return again!
June N — Google review
Read some of their reviews and the place doesnt disappoint at all. The beef cheeks is extremely tender and the sauce that goes it the entree was phenomenal 👌 The appetizer was pierogis with blood sausage I believe (seasonal). It was really different and amazing.
William F — Google review
A small, cozy restaurant that’s always busy — and for a good reason! The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and their use of spices like cardamom and cloves is truly unique. The pierogi are an absolute must-try! We also tried the vodkas, which were sweeter than expected but still great as a dessert. And the walnut cake was top-notch — not too sweet. Cheers to the grandma whose recipe it is! Be sure to book a table in advance!

Whiskey in the Jar

$$$$expensive
Steak house
Whiskey in the Jar is a lively Irish-themed bar located in the heart of Wroclaw, Poland. It offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere where locals and visitors come together to enjoy live music, hearty laughter, and of course, a variety of whiskey options. The bar's vibrant nightlife scene invites patrons to experience the 'Wroclaw Surprise' cocktail while savoring traditional Polish pierogi.
Whisky in the Jar is probably the best steak house in the city centre. The menu is excellent, well designed, and the pictures accurately represent the food served. The prices are quite high, but not unreasonable for the city centre and considering the very high quality of food and service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our waiter was Pawel, who provided quick and attentive service. The seating is very comfortable with a choice of indoor and outdoor spaces. I'd recommend that you book online at least two or three days in advance, especially if you're planning on a weekend visit. They're very busy and you'll struggle to find a table without a weekend booking.
Stephen M — Google review
Excellent place for a burger or steak. I had one of the best burgers in my life here. Highly recommended! Service was great, with lovely atmosphere. I wish i had visited earlier
Frangiskos H — Google review
I had an amazing meal at Whiskey in the Jar! The steak was cooked to absolute perfection—medium, just as I like it, and the flavor was absolutely delicious. The presentation was great, with tasty fries and a fresh salad on the side. The ambiance was cozy, and the beer paired wonderfully with the meal. Highly recommend this place for a satisfying dining experience!
Sebastian K — Google review
hisky in the jar restaurant Food was awesome and very tasty. Complimentary popcorn with seasoning salt was very good. We got the cowboy burger which has an egg on it. The mustard was not overwhelming. Everything had such a good flavor. The steak fries had seasoning salt on them also. We would eat here again. The drawback could be that there is no menu posted outside, only a QR code to scan. Same for at the table- a QR code to scan for the menu.
Michael M — Google review
Great place! I ordered from the lunchtime menu which was a fab deal. Soup was delicious and the steak was cooked perfect and the garlic butter was amazing. Highly recommend.
Helen ( — Google review
Great food. Good cocktails. Super friendly service. The steak on a "rock" is a must eat. Also, try the pineapple headache.
Sven K — Google review
Had a good experience at Whiskey in the Jar in Wrocław. The steak was nice – juicy, flavorful, and well cooked. The service was friendly and attentive. The location is right in the city center, with outdoor seating available, which adds to the atmosphere. Prices are fair and the overall value is definitely on point. Nothing really to complain about. Would gladly come again.
EIMERAUFREISEN — Google review
The restaurant has branches throughout Poland. The meat menu is varied. I must say that the prices have increased significantly. The food is delicious. Nice atmosphere, although quite noisy. The service was professional and courteous but quite slow. Our waiter was responsible for several tables of groups.

Czarna Kaczka / Black Duck

$$$$affordable
Polish restaurant
Czarna Kaczka, also known as Black Duck, is a charming restaurant located in a historic tenement house. The eatery offers a cozy atmosphere and serves up a variety of regional dishes. Guests can enjoy their meal on the patio or grab a drink at the bar. The menu features homemade traditional Polish dishes, with a focus on the roast duck platter being their specialty.
A really great place — the restaurant was completely full, which already says a lot. I highly recommend coming a bit earlier or making a reservation in advance. The location is fantastic — you can sit both inside and outside, which really adds to the atmosphere. The service and staff were on a very high level 100/10☺️ The food was absolutely delicious. We waited around 25 minutes for our second course, but our waitress — a lovely baroness-like lady named Kasia (I think) — truly saved the evening. Normally I get frustrated when the wait is long, but she handled everything so gracefully that we felt completely taken care of. She apologized several times and even offered us a complimentary dish, which was such a nice and thoughtful gesture. They were clearly tracking the delay themselves, which speaks volumes about their professionalism. I left feeling genuinely happy and satisfied. The duck was especially delicious — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend this place — 10 out of 10. One of the best spots in Kraków. Thank you so much!
Nadiia P — Google review
This was a wonderful experience. We were warmly greeted, where we were seated was warm and cosy. Clean and modern. There was a complimentary appetiser of bread, pickles and duck pate given first, then we each had starters, mains and pudding and drinks, and everything was delicious. The starter of duck carpaccio was sublime, the goats cheese salad superb, and the dumplings divine. Prices are super reasonable for the quality too. The best part of the experience was our server Jan who was happy, friendly and funny, with genuine interest in us and making sure we had a good time. He is to be commended for his warm and attentive manner, knowledge of the food and ease of communication. Thank you Jan! Stay awesome!
Helen B — Google review
Nice place with excellent and friendly service. The highlights of the meal were the herring tartar and lemon sauce in baked cod. Definitely worth a visit. If I ever came again, I would come hungrier and taste the half roasted duck.
S T — Google review
Sumptuous. Tasty. Memorable. All of this across multiple dishes: herring tartare, spicy duck sumplings, pan fried smoked cheese with pancetta, plus Cracovian duck, stuffed cabbage, and goulash on potato pancake. Then remember apple puffs and cheesecake for dessert. All enjoyed with Krakow region and Georgia country wine. Will return again soon, maybe this weekend?
R.Paul H — Google review
A place off the tourist paths but very popular — reservations are a must. I was lucky to get a table. Very pleasant and professional service. The menu is based on duck dishes. I recommend the marinated duck carpaccio. Excellent local wines — Gewürztraminer and Pinot Noir.
Karlis S — Google review
I loved this restaurant. The staff were amazing. Wiktoria was friendly, happy and inviting! The food was tasty, filling and made you feel happy. 😊 I highly recommend when visiting krakow.
Pete — Google review
Fantsastic Polish food - recommend to book in advance. Atmosphere is fantastic, service is the best in the city. Food is solid with many of the traditional dishes expected. I had the rye soup and goulash. Cheesecake desert. Potato vodka is great too.
Luke C — Google review
This restaurant made my visit to Poland so much more special. The service is excellent, the food is amazing, and the place itself is really beautiful, with plants that make it especially cozy. The photos are from two different visits. The price is around €25 (about 107 PLN) per person.

Morskie Oko

$$$$affordable
Polish restaurant
Morskie Oko is a traditional Polish restaurant located in Krakow, offering a cozy atmosphere with exposed brickwork and wooden furniture. The restaurant hosts concerts by highlands singers, providing an authentic cultural experience. Additionally, Morskie Oko is known for its wholesome Polish cuisine, making it a perfect choice for those seeking traditional dishes. In addition to its culinary offerings, the Tatra Mountains feature the stunning Lake Morskie Oko as an attraction.
Suggested by our hotel, the restaurant was outstanding. Regional cuisine. Nice regional ambiance, crafted with beautiful wood work. Staff very professional and attentive. The restaurant was busy but drinks and food came out pretty quickly. Outstanding food, everything we had to we enjoyed. For the two of us we shared stuffed cabbage, pierogies, and a beet root salad. Large portions. Ambience very nice.
G P — Google review
Morskie Oko is a masterclass in Polish hospitality — part culinary wonderland, part cozy nostalgia, and entirely irresistible. The old-school music in the background makes you feel like you’ve been transported into someone’s impeccably charming living room (the one that somehow has both soul and style). The food? Sublime. Duck that practically whispers “eat me,” perogies with the perfect plumpness, sausage and boar that redefine meaty excellence. Potatoes and beet salad complete the ensemble like true supporting actors. The Negroni and Kraków Mule? Drinks that could inspire poetry… or at least a second helping. Our server deserves a medal: warm, informative, and quick to provide a high chair for our baby, making dining feel effortless. We returned the next day simply because skipping it would be criminal. Highly recommend — for flavor, finesse, and an experience so delightful you’ll leave plotting your next visit before dessert even arrives.
Martin M — Google review
We had the best experience here and tried such incredible traditional Polish cuisine. Definitely book a couple days in advance as its very popular - we were super fortunate to walk in and grab a table. We had the beef goulash with potato pancakes, the chicken breast in mushroom sauce and shared a plate of meat pierogis. All 3 dishes were 10/10, so flavoursome and decadent. The potato pancakes and the pierogis were the star of the show - the pancakes were so buttery inside but crisp on the outside and the pierogis were filled with meat and the crispy bacon bits on the top made the dish. A must visit whilst in Krakow!
Eleri R — Google review
We had the vegan placki, ruskie pierogi, rosół and beef stroganoff soup. The placki look suspicious but let me tell you, they were so unreal. Best thing we’ve had, it was so delicious along with the rest of our meals. You also can’t skip the hot beer and the winter tea, also the best ones we’ve had since being in Poland. Highly recommend this place ☺️
Amilia K — Google review
Very unique restaurant inside, perfect for a special occasion and to try some traditional polish food. My husband had pork neck fillet which was delicious and the pierogi’s to start were also yummy. I personally found the pork knuckle a bit fatty for my taste.
Alice — Google review
My friend and I just landed and was looking for traditional Polish food and due to the amount of good reviews we decided to check it out ourself. We stopped by with no reservation and they told us it would be a 20 minute wait for two people that was fine and we walked to the nearby Square. After walking around, we came back and we seated instantly. We ordered the meat platter for two, boiled potatoes, sauerkraut, salad, and I got the warm beer. For about $63 this was a great deal for two people. The variety of meat was absolutely decadent. Service is great and ambience made you feel like you were in a medieval tavern. 10 out of 10 would recommend coming back.
Kody M — Google review
We were able to speak with the staff beforehand via mail, the responses were quick, polite and exhaustive. The restaurant is very “traditional”, especially in the underground hall, where we ate. The food arrived quickly and was truly amazing, from the appetisers to the main dishes. Pairing that with a beautiful staff, you get a 5 stars restaurant. Would come back and recommend to try.
Artur F — Google review
Fantastic service! Very cozy cellar. Food was good, traditional polish. Some live polish music. Had a great time. Food was well prepared. Maybe not my favourite dishes, but still 5/5. Im rating based on food, not my personal preferences. I would definitely visit again.

We had the pleasure of dining at this place with my friends, and it was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was elegant yet cozy, perfect for a relaxed evening with good company. Very welcoming. We arrived later than our reservation, but they were very friendly and still made time for us. You can see that the people who work here like their job. The food was great.
José W — Google review
Came across this small Italian restaurant by chance and it definitely didn’t disappoint! It’s a small restaurant with a brilliant atmosphere, staff are very polite, welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent! Had the tuna and red prawn tartare to start which was very light and delicious. This followed by our delicious main Octopus stew and my favourite was the Spaghetti Vongole! We even had 2 servings of it!! While I’m no expert on Hell’s Kitchen, It was a very balanced meal, Clams were very fresh, spaghetti not too overcooked and the sauce was well done. This all paired with a beautiful bottle of Sicilian white wine. We had tiramisu and panna cotta which was lovely to finish off the meal. Price point wasn’t too bad either considering the amount of food and wine. While this restaurant is not on the main square and can be missed. I would highly recommend them!
Joshua T — Google review
Food was wonderful however a single server in the basement on a Saturday night?? Poor lady was working hard. Atmosphere is delightful as well as the food. Worth the trip.
Dawn — Google review
For their prices they need a lot of improvement. We asked the dishes to be shared and come whatever is ready. But the lady said “no chief will bring all together “. Which is weird. When the waitress brought the dishes she dropped everything there didn’t even said a word didn’t explain nothing. Steak came undercooked. When I ask if they can cook it a bit more she looked at us like I asked her to do a backflip. She grabbed the steak speechless brought it back still undercooked inside. Never came to ask again if the cooking was okay this time. We end up eating half of it just to not waste it , paid and left disappointed.
PraikoN — Google review
The wife and I booked in here for a nice meal on our last night in krakow. We were not disappointed! Hands down this was the best steak I have ever had. Compliments to the chef. My wife had tuna and this was very well cooked and seasoned. We had pasta as a starter which we said we would share, the food came out already divided for us. This made us feel well thought of. Finally, dessert was excellent and finished off a fine evening. Thank you all!

The cozy and unpretentious atmosphere offers a mix of Polish and international cuisine. The menu features a variety of local dishes, complemented by an excellent selection of wine and beer. We had excellent time / dinner there. Reservation required especially during the weekend. The service outstanding. amuse gueule was just nice. We had beef and lamb as a main dish. We shared a starter. Espresso was nice and they have a great selection of beers. We will come again. Quite posh in a very nice way. Thanks.

The service was amazing, friendly staff, amazing food. I had the Special of the day, sausage soup and goose dumplings as main dish. The chocolate soufflé as a desert. Tried also some vodkas from the region. I have to say everything was exquisite. I am sincere impressed with the food quality. Amazing!

Very, very tasty and extremely well presented food. This restaurant which once used to be a printers, and has adopted the printers theme and has very calm, pleasant ambience 👍 Our waiter was very friendly and was always on hand to take our food and drink orders and to fill our glasses 🍷😊🍷 We reserved our table in advance and would suggest you do the same to avoid disappointment at the door 👍 We would definitely come back again 👍🍷😊
FebePops — Google review
Very decent with attentive staff. The flavour needs to be stepped up though. But... Get the pierogi. We had the rabbit and beef stew for mains and fois gras and a slightly salty escargot to start.
A N — Google review
I cannot reccomend this restaurant enough. We were served a free starter AND a free salad. The pancakes were very interesting, it tasted like it had minced meat in them but I was told by our waiter that it was rice (I suspect it was barley or some grain). Portions were large and the food was generally amazing. Pay this place a visit!

Superb small Polish restaurant. The service was excellent and all the plates we ordered was delicious and alternative. The prices was more than fair for what you get!

Superb place, food is just beautiful, lovely staff great wines, unbelievably cheap! Top end restaurant food.. Go you won't be disappointed!
Sharon T — Google review
Ordered a starter of goose meet pierogi and a main of beef cheek with cognac sauce. Both were super delicious - beef cheek was very tender, it just falls apart and isn't dry. The homemade ice cream for dessert was also superb. Service by the waiters was professional with a high level of attention to detail.

Old Town Restaurant and Wine Bar

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Nestled in a picturesque medieval building at the north end of Krakow's Old Town, Old Town Restaurant and Wine Bar is a cozy eatery offering hearty Eastern European dishes alongside an impressive selection of wine and beer. The restaurant is celebrated for its delicious borscht, dumplings, grilled salads, and mouth-watering desserts like apple pie and chocolate souffle.
We had a late lunch at this lovely restaurant right in the heart of the old town. The service was excellent. The food was delicious— my companion mentioned that her goat cheese salad might be one of the best she has ever had. The tartare starter was tasty and enough for two. My main course, chicken breast with vegetables, was also very good. Despite its central location, the restaurant is reasonably priced considering the high quality. Extra points for the air conditioning—it was a really hot day. This restaurant is definitely worth recommending!
Heikki K — Google review
Exceptional Food & Warm Hospitality We shared appetizers of sheep cheese and dumplings — easily the best bites of food we’ve had on this trip. The wine was excellent, and the duck on the tray was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and offered great suggestions. A must-visit for amazing food and genuine hospitality.
John K — Google review
I found this restaurant online by chance, not knowing what to expect. I only saw that it had good reviews, so we gave it a chance. The food was great. We had the traditional Polish soup, smoked goose, and dumplings for appetizers and the pork knuckle and duck confit. Everything was good, but we were talking about the pork knuckle for a few days after, wishing we had time to go back and have it again. It was crispy on the outside and juicy tender on the inside. It’s one of the best I’ve had.
B4Ikickit — Google review
My family have multiple allergies and so far we have eaten here for three days running. They couldn't be more helpful in what meals are safe and how things can be adapted to suit our needs. The staff are lovely and the food is to die for.
Nat S — Google review
There is very little gluten-free food in Krakow. Finding this place was a godsend. My boys are celiac. We're not. However, there are plenty of options for everyone. Lovely food, great service.
N ( — Google review
We have eaten pork knuckle in many places, but this one was the best by far! It was even gluten free and super crispy. The staff speaks very good English and was very kind. Very clean and spacious restaurant. If you want gluten free food (and beer) and good service, I highly recommend you visiting this restaurant. Cheers!

Amazing restaurant in the city center of Krakow. Local food with good options, even for celiacs and other intolerances. The service was fantastic and professional and the atmosphere and decoration of the place also nice. The soup and the pork belly are really good options. I recommend it and will repeat in my next trip to Thai city.

Probably the best meal we had in our 2 weeks here in Europe. The chicken dish was amazing, the old fashioned was spot on, and the dumplings were perfect. In the main square, it’s a must for lunch or dinner!

The restaurant prides itself on championing local produce and embracing vegetarian and vegan cuisine, with clearly marked options on the menu. The setting is adorned with plants, creating a green oasis for diners to enjoy their meal. Additionally, the wine menu boasts an impressive selection of biodynamic wines.
Our first meal in Krakow did not disappoint! We were looking for something off of the main square and found this gem. The inside is very cute and the food was great. The drinks were also quite delicious! My wife said the burger was the best she’s had in a long time. I personally loved the fried goat cheese salad (and the plating itself was gorgeous). We also shared the vegan plate that had a very tasty mushroom (I think) spread. So so good. 10/10 recommend.

My husband and I were visiting the Jewish Quarter, Kazimierz, and wanted to have lunch at a typical Polish restaurant, and the menu initially intrigued us. When we entered, we were greeted by Dominique'sh kindness and professionalism. He seated us in a space suitable for my mobility needs and even suggested we avoid two plates of ravioli, as their portions are quite generous, and that's exactly what we were offered. The dishes were beautifully presented, with delicious and unexpected flavors. For example, my Caesar salad had a special touch, I assure you!!! Reading the reviews, we realized we were in one of the best restaurants in Krakow, and we can confirm it! Thank you, Dominique, we had a wonderful lunch!!!!!

Wonderful atmosphere, but service was bad. Guess we just fell on the wrong waiter because she was very impatient. General attitude, nothing worth mentioning, but it accumulated to a very unpleasant situation... Expensive, but quite good food.

Overall this place is nice, the dishes are very nicely prepared. The food taste is just ok, nothing that will want you to come back all the time. I took their famous kwaśnica soup and it was just ok, I needed to add salt and pepper. The duck plate was also just ok, I’ve had much better ones in Poland before. The ambiance is nice with a great view and a nice atmosphere inside. The service is fantastic with 5 stars. Once you get seated they’ll bring a sample plate of their butter spreads that you can try before buying, same with their alkohole liquors. Both are fantastic and we ended up buying a few bottles of each. That sampling in the beginning was probably the best part of the experience here. The beza for desert is fantastic! If they don’t have the classic burger which they didn’t for us because the meat was not delivered don’t bother with the others.

Amazing food and amazing service! Our server Dorota was very attentive and kind. The atmosphere was great with a traditional highlander band playing throughout our dinner. Highly recommend!! 🤩🤩

Cyrano de Bergerac - Restauracja Kraków

$$$$expensive
Restaurant
Restauracja Cyrano de Bergerac is a charming French restaurant located in the old part of Krakow, offering gourmet French cuisine in an atmospheric brick-lined cellar. The restaurant boasts delicate tapestries adorning the walls, creating a romantic and intimate ambiance. Additionally, there is a terrace area for relaxed dining during the summer months. What sets this restaurant apart is its multilingual menu, with translations available in English, German, and Japanese.
All the food at this restaurant was delicious and well prepared.

We booked to try the restaurant as part of the restaurant week festival in which they were participating. The interior and atmosphere was very picturesque and impressed us. It's a beautiful space. Service was attentive and polite. Unfortunately the whole experience was let down by the meal itself. Simply Incredibly bad. I am not sure wether this is due to them not considering their participation in the festival as important or simply it being a bad day, but the food was just bad. Too much pomposity and delicate plating and no substance and flavour. Even basic seasoning was off. We had both the offered menus. The starters were nice with the Jerusalem artichoke soup standing out. The beetroot and goat cheese tart was not the nicest but acceptable. The main courses were both disappointing. The guinea fowl was unsalted and very dry and the arancini was bland. The fish had not been cooked well as it's skin was soggy and wet and at the same time the flesh was overcooked and dry, the accompanying polenta was not properly seasoned and the decorations on the plate unnecessarily with the drops of gellified coconut milk just being plain weird. As for the desserts they were ok but nothing special. Overall and extremely underwhelming experience. The food did not live up to the restaurant's reputation. I don't know if this is the case just for the restaurant week set menu but regardless it was a disappointing experience. All looks and no substance.

Went here for a company dinner and would say that it's good but nothing spectacular. In terms of taste, it was pretty bland, with no impressive flavor or uniqueness. Had the onion soup as a starter to begin with, the beef wellington and ending with the apple pie. And the best would be the dessert even if I don't personally like apple pies. But this one had a nice flavor, and the apples weren't mussy. Beef wellington i expected more from since it didn't have much in flavors going on and also was a bit cold. Especially the potatoes in the dish. Service, on the other hand, was very formal, and everything was served in that manner. Both ask about wine for each dish and filling up the water glass when needed. Local was also very nicely decorated and had a special atmosphere. The restaurant is also located centrally in Krakow.

Great place for a romantic night or friendly dinner/gathering: spacious and impressive interior. Service and food are decent and mostly good

Romantic French restaurant in the city centre in the old basement. Atmosphere is very cozy. But there are lots of stairs so maybe not very convenient for older people. We were there for the first time during Restaurant week. Service was ok but food was a bit average, I’d expect better from such place. Especially dessert was very simple, just pancakes even though presentation with flame was impressive but taste was not so good. Fish was good but I’d expect better presentation, not in the paper. Not sure what they have in the main menu but if the purpose of Restaurant week is to attract customers, then it failed this time.

Just ok - was expecting more for a michelin star. Little expensive too for the quality. Wouldn't exactly say I would return for a meal unless it's for snacks. Wasn't a stand out for me. Bread with truffle butter ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - starting dish for free - really good - served warm Lettuce / goat cheese / nut / mango / grissini ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - adored this - grissini was great Foie gras terrine ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - little salty - very rich - good pairing with apricot Escargot ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - didn't love the texture of the escargot - loved the surrounding stew Beef tenderloin Wellington⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - not the best beef Wellington I've had - pretty solid, made me realise the move for this place is small plates

A very nice meal here if you're willing to spend that wee bit extra. We had the wild boar and duck for our main course and both were delicious!

Outstanding experience!! Michelin starred restaurant. Service is at the highest level, very calm and relaxing atmosphere. OK, meal portions are not that big, but to be honest, it was quite enough and we filled really satisfied. And prices are quite reasonable, I cannot say it is overpriced for what you are getting including the highest quality and food design, even the plates looks amazing 🤩. To conclude, I really recommend to check this place and feel it.

Lotnisko Chopina Warszawa

Airport
Warsaw Chopin Airport, also known as Okecie, is the largest and busiest airport in Poland, handling approximately 16 million passengers annually. It offers domestic and international flights with a direct rail link to the city center. Additionally, some airlines operate from Modlin Airport, which is about a 40-minute journey from Warsaw. The airport features efficient check-in processes, family-friendly amenities such as kids' areas and smooth security checks.
Elegant airport, aereal gate to the fascinating capital of Poland. Oposite to other capital airports like Paris, Chopin has been the main Polish airport since it's creation at the beggining of XXth century. During XXI st century it went through deep refurbishment. Extremely well connected with Warsaw city center by bus and metro in a similar way to Vienna's airport with stops all around the city. Charming etereal shape, with ondulate glasses covering all the structure.

Clean, well organized airport. Had a smooth transit from Paris to Riyadh. It was my first time flying with LOT Polish Airlines and it was a nice experience. However, the passport control staff were very, very slow, and unfortunately, some of them came across as a bit rude.

I had transit flight, unfortunately there was no direction signs and I lost the time in the lines. Premises are clean, impressed with the shower room with a hot water while 26 hours of journey is really helpful. Staff are welcoming. Duty Free is extremely expensive. Nice kid's corner by Itaka.

Great little place for vacation!!! if your looking to go out and be somewhere back in day and in a clean environment with no crimes neither negative activity? let me tell you poland is one of these countries it is literally so beautiful and clean and every one was super welcoming and treated me like i was one of their family. environment wise, it was such a amazing peaceful morning with noise or cars honking everyone respects each other and wants the same for others. in the security check at the airport you may get some hard time by security but at least they have a smoking room just before boarding the plane so that was fun.

Nice hotel across the street from the WAW airport. The hallways and elevators are small, but the rooms are only a little smaller than most comparable US hotel rooms. Note that there's a thin gap between the glass bathroom door and the walls of the bathroom. In other words, you can see right into the shower through the door gap even with the bathroom door completely shut. That gap is near the room's main area, and the shower has no barrier/curtain, so be mindful of that gap if sharing a room with someone such as for business travel.

Efficient airport with all the services you need - nothing you don't. Folk who work at the airport are actually friendly and helpful here (and I am not Polish) ... including the immigration officers. Perfect to fly in and out of central Poland.

Very nice terminal, tons if stuff , although not cheap, can be really cozy at night/rain, taste the traditional polish dish Pierogi (chicken!) it’s great

Never had to wait so long in any Airport, when you pass security, you still need to go to trough one more gates for passport check and queues are ~ 1 hour long, everyone is panicking, we were almost late to our plane. And we went through security 2 hours before the gates closure and still almost late.

Warsaw Modlin Airport

Airport
International airport
Warsaw Modlin Airport, which opened in 2012, is a small international airport mainly serving low-cost flights, particularly by Ryanair. While there are limited dining options inside the airport, it offers convenient train and bus connections to Warsaw at affordable prices. The airport has its own station on the Modlin-Warsaw rail line, making it easily accessible for travelers. Despite its small size, the airport maintains cleanliness and reasonably priced shops and restaurants.
Very small and compact airport, no crowd, no waiting, no need to go through any labrinth, after 10 mins and 100m walk you are at the gate. My favourite airport so far!
Morzsaszar — Google review
I would avoid this airport next time. It's a tiny international airport mainly for Ryanair flights. Our flight was delayed for a few hours and there was not much space for seats. Most people were on the floor. There was only one or two toilets in the boarding area. Very slow WiFi. The staff were really friendly/supportive but would recommend to avoid this.
Karthik S — Google review
Warsaw Modlin Airport opened in 2012 after it was closed as an airfield for some time. It's small and only has duty-free shops and 4 gates; on the other hand, by gate 4, there is a decently-sized seating area with a vending machine and a small shop where you can get some snacks, as well as a place to exchange currency. Only Ryanair operates flights here, which is one of the safest airlines. Some old compelling buildings on the side of the runway date back to when it was a military airfield. In summary, despite being a small airport and only a few flights landing here daily, it's still pretty decent with all the utilities a regular airport has. The reason for the four-star review is the queue for my flight was very long.
Eric T — Google review
Not the best airport for sure - as for now Ryanair is the only operator from WMI and if you get by with a cheap ticket 🎫 maybe it’s worth it. The Lounge was closed, you can access it with Priority pass. A few gates, As other people mentioning below maybe four. Gate 1 is for boarder controll, so UK and Israel. Okey shops and it gets crowded when boarding time.
Tomislav Z — Google review
Low cost airport serving the North of Mazowieckie region. If you are going to Warsaw and the ticket to Chopin airport is less than 30 euros difference with the one to Modlin I'd really recommend to fly to Chopin as Modlin is really far away from the city and not so well connected. Warsaw public bus doesn't arrive here and you would need to take a Flix bus leaving you at West Station.
Alex S — Google review
Despite having 4 automated border control machines all are closed and only 3 operating windows with a person inside taking forever , I know it's a budget airport but it's 21 century and feels like 19
Jolanta R — Google review
I feel like the worst staff in any EU Airport I've seen, and I travel a lot. Every step of the way people are rude, look at you like an idiot and make you feel just bad generally even for asking a question. The chairs upstairs were nice though. DON'T fly here through Ryanair, staff at gate is worst Ryanair staff you'll probably find.
Almighty T — Google review
Small airport, perfect for quick flights, not very comfortable for long waits. Pros: no long quees, not very crowdy, a lot of parking space nearby car parkings. Cons: no electric sockets, small waiting rooms, uncomfortable chairs.
