Priyut Kholostyaka

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Nestled in a beautifully restored 19th-century mansion, Priyut Kholostyaka offers an inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements its diverse menu of international cuisine. This charming eatery, located on one of the city's most picturesque streets, has been a staple in Kazan's culinary scene for over ten years. The restaurant's unique ambiance is enhanced by its hookah bar and cozy cellar vaults, creating a den-like retreat for diners.
Surprisingly delicious quisine, considering the insane menu size. Large portions, and prices are quite okay if that's taken in account. Polite stuff, pleasant interior. If you are into more posh and aren't looking for anything traditional and local, that's the place for you.
Mike — Google review
Delicious! Everything without exceptions. Tar-tar, beef stroganoff, strudel, shashlik, desserts!!! Nice design, variety of perfumes near the toilets, good service.
Natalia D — Google review
They offer a variety of cuisines (European food, sushi, etc) with no clear specialization. Food: 9/10 - very tasty, large portions. Service: 10/10 - fast, no issues, they have well-working WiFi and accept credit cards. Value for $: 7/10 - a bit pricy for Kazan, but adequate. Soups 300-600 RUB; Mains 300-1000 RUB. Atmoshpere: 6/10 - located in the basement with no windows.
Eugene F — Google review
Food was 9/10 - Really well presented and generous serves. Drinks 10/10 - Definitely try the Moscow mule! Red wine was a big winner. Service 8/10 - The team were really busy so it was hard to order drinks at times. Ambiance 10/10 - Great cosy vibe.
Satjit S — Google review
This is a place I visited second time next day for the same meal. Nicoise is perfect. Lamb ribs were good, bit not extraordinary good. Onion soup was incredibly good. And Nicoise was perfect two days!!!
Vladimir M — Google review
One of the best hookah I ever had. Very good food with reasonable price. I have been there quite a lot of times and never tried the Japanese menu, but everything else was at least decent. Very good horse steak, worth trying it. Also has a good cocktail list and parking on the back of the place. Only issue is that on busy days maybe you have to make reservation for a table.
Χαριλαος Γ — Google review
Ordering via a tablet was an interesting experience, at the very least. The food is good, with a wide variety of western and Japanese dishes. The ambiance is quite pleasant, though if you're bothered by hookahs in the same room as your food it could be less so. A bit pricier than other places I've been to in Kazan, but well within normal pricing. Staff were friendly and knew the menu well Overall, a great experience, would visit again.
Alexander R — Google review
I was a little skeptical but after trying a few dishes I was quite surprised that everything was extremely good and tasteful. Place has cool design and from my understanding it has a history within local community. Supposedly Been around long before all the new places. Sorry was busy in conversation so did not get any pics of my food 😞

Skazka

$$$$affordable
Cafe
Breakfast restaurant
Nestled on the vibrant Bauman Street, "Skazka" is a delightful family-friendly café that offers a charming breakfast menu, albeit not extensive. Here, you can savor eggs prepared in various styles alongside hearty porridge and syrniki—sweet pancakes made from quark and adorned with fresh fruits and syrup. The café also features an array of kefir options, a beloved fermented milk drink in Russia.
Excellent quality authentic tatar dishes. We came to this place three times on the row and enjoy food and service. Visitors from Santa Clara, California.
Timour P — Google review
Fast service even when packed. My waitress couldnt speak English but was very patient with me. Horse meat abit tough.

Delicious food. Amazing Atmosphere and good service. Really family friendly.
Peter H — Google review
This is a great place for both adults and kids. Interior is colourful and thought out to the last detail. My kid was pretty excited to observe fishes in a huge tank that was located close to the table. The price is quite moderate for this part of the city. They serve local Kazan's dishes and deserts as well as more European dishes. However I would definitely recommend to try local tea with milk and chak-chak dessert. Staff is friendly and hospitable. The restaurant also provides kids menu and small children's playroom.
Вячеслав И — Google review
Excellent food. Ordered the fajitas, salmon, and some sort of Russian version of American pot pie. Delicious and amazing service from our waiter Roxana. Highly recommend
Harold S — Google review
Delicious local and international meals and very cosy interior. Staff is friendly and responsive. We always come here when we're in Kazan. Expect a 20-minutes queue at the entrance on Russian holidays.
Sergey A — Google review
A good place for having some traditional tatar meals, though my horsemeat was a bit tough. Nice place, prices are honest. Some really interesting recipes on the menu.
Florent M — Google review
The most funny thing is souse “airan” instead of traditional drink with the same name. The place is rather for a family weekend then for traditional Tatar cuisine.

Pyatkin is a Russian cuisine restaurant located in Nizhny Novgorod, near the river. The interior design reflects an authentic 1800s Russian merchant's dining room, creating a unique atmosphere. Great restaurant, delicious food. Set caviar - very tasty and original. Everything is decorated in old Russian style. Prices above average. Will be in Nizhny Novgorod be sure to visit this place.

Friendly service and excellent Russian classics in a pleasantly retro dining room. Superb value for the quality of the food and ambience, but in danger of becoming a tour group staple.

Authentic traditional Russian cuisine of the highest quality. We enjoyed the pea and fish soups, as well as both main courses, the fried pike perch. The desserts are also delicious, and we really liked the red bilberry pie.

Na Kryshe

Restaurant
Cafe
Na Kryshe is a newly opened restaurant located in Kazan, offering a wide range of dishes and pizzas. Situated on the top floor of a building, it provides summer balconies with stunning views of Baumana street. The interior is beautifully designed with plenty of seating options and air conditioning for the summer months. Visitors can expect delicious food and friendly service, making it a must-visit spot in the city.
Everything was great here, everyone was welcoming and cheerful. The food was fresh and tasty, I loved the sauce on the pizza, it was delicious. We also ordered the shrimp Caesar, the shrimp were big and fresh. I think I will come back next time
张岩 — Google review
The food is very delicious. The pizza sauce is very special. It is the best pizza I have eaten in Kazan. The roast pork I ordered is very soft and I like it very much. Everyone here is very enthusiastic and will provide help in time. Next time I will recommend it to my friends to come together

Excellent service, amazing view and delicious food!!! Highly recommended 👌
Elena P — Google review
Reservation ahead of time is a must, beautiful location and views, very tasty food and cocktails 🍹. Reasonable prices for the place and food 🍲 quality.
Sergiu — Google review
The food, the location and the waiters are great. Right on Bauman street, it's a great place to stop for lunch and deinks or later on in the evening. Don't expect high gastronomy here though, it's good foor at a reasonable price with a beautiful view. Only thing I got ticked about was the fact we were basically told that we had two hours before we had to leave upon being sat down. Which is extremely rude when yoj realize that the place is not full and tables are available all around. An unfortunate and rude comment like this prevents me from giving it more than 3 stars. Never tell your clients when they should leave when they just sat down. Especially when the service is not fast paced nor is it a fast food joint. It's a place meant to relaxe and take your time. So hope management will encourage better service as this place deserves a better rating.
Dragos C — Google review
Location is nice to chillout with Some Friends . Atmosphere is Awesome Because is on the Top from the Building. The Pizza is Awesome and very Tasty and there you can Smoke Shishas too , if you are Want to do it. The Staff there was Amazing too! There help you if you have Some question about everything . Delivery Restaurant
If you're in Samara, Russia, make sure to stop by Rusiko for a delightful culinary experience. This charming eatery offers an authentic taste of Italian cuisine that, while not identical to what you’d find in Italy, is undeniably delicious and satisfying. The menu features mouthwatering options like pizza and bruschetta that are fresh and flavorful. The cozy interiors create a welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal comfortably.
We are never getting tired of the food there. Although it doesnt taste exactly like in italy, ir's very authentic and delicious. The prices are fair. Service and ambiente really nice.

Рубаи

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
This Uzbek restaurant has great food and drinks, with a variety of beers on tap. The staff are very friendly and can help you understand the local cuisine. The decor is beautiful, and the sofas are comfortable. They have a belly dance performance at around 8pm which is a nice touch.
The foods are great 👍 worth the visit! We tried Sashlik, or the meat dishes are superb! For the non-Russian tourist like me, it's easy to choose from the menu cos they provide English translation in their menu, and with pictures. Overall, it's satisfying! 👍
Lucia Y — Google review
The restaurant offers a taste of authenticity with its Uzbek cuisine, creating a welcoming atmosphere through simple traditional decor. Our experience was enriched by Evelina, who provided friendly, nice, and helpful service throughout our visit. The menu showcased Uzbek culinary delights, allowing us to savor the flavors of the region. The restaurant is a decent choice for those seeking a genuine Uzbek dining experience with a warm and inviting ambiance.
Abdulkarim A — Google review
Lovely place, amazing plov. Strongly recommend!
Agnieszka W — Google review
Good food and alcohol, though the variation of beer on tap is not very large. Sufficient numbers of staff understand English and can explain local food quite well. Seats are comfy sofas with translucent curtains that give you some privacy. Would recommend for local cuisine for non-Russian speakers. Short belly-dance style performance at around 8pm when visited.
TVSU — Google review
Lovely little restaurant in the centre of town. Most of the tables are set up as individual booths surrounded by curtains, which makes for an intimate dining affair even if the place is quite busy. The menu was too big in my opinion and it was actually quite difficult to make a choice. The food we ordered was great and the service was reasonably quick.
Jason B — Google review
Very good Tatar food. Finally some local specials. Nice service. We liked the individual boots. It gives some privacy. We would go back if again in Kazan. Menus in English.
Urs K — Google review
Rude!!! All I wanted was plov with beef, I called and spoke in clear Russian and they kept saying they did not understand. Plus, really plov without beef! Really? Like serving steak that is made I u of pork. Skip this restaurant, they have a bad attitude!!
Stephie B — Google review
A nice array of Uzbek, Uyghur and other Central Asian dishes. They have a "Tatar menu", but nearly all of the dishes on that menu are Central Asian or Russian. Atmosphere is quite nice, with quiet places where one can have a nice conversation.

Beer House

If you're on the hunt for a lively spot to unwind, look no further than Beer House. This charming venue boasts an impressive selection of beers that will delight any enthusiast. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax with friends. While the food offerings include delicious Russian, German, and Tatarstan cuisine that many rave about, some guests have noted room for improvement in variety. However, the attentive staff ensures a pleasant dining experience overall.
Food is excellent . They offer Russian, German and Tatarstan kitchen. Unfortunately offer off beer is poor. Staff is great, atmosphere is very pleasant.
Marija R — Google review
Quite awesome place for variety of beers..!! It was a great experience..) Loved all there, specially food.. Thank you "BeerHouse"..!!

Food is not really good there or at least for what I tried. Feels like a tourist place that gets customers no matter what and hence lowers their efforts.

Tugan Avylym: A Charming Replica of a Traditional Village Located at 14/56 Ulitsa Tufana Minnullina, Tugan Avylym is a unique attraction in Kazan. The name translates to "My Native Village," and the place lives up to its name by being a beautiful and faithful replica of what old Kazan villages used to be like. This pretty little fake village offers visitors a glimpse into the architectural style and atmosphere of traditional Tatar rural life. The wooden houses and charming details make it a popular spot for both locals and tourists. It's an excellent place to take a stroll, enjoy the ambiance, and get a sense of the region's cultural heritage in a recreated setting.

Despite being a smaller airport, it offers modern facilities and serves as a significant transportation hub for the region, providing both domestic and international flight options for travelers.
It's nice for such a small airport. I was expecting worse and glad it turned out differently. Clean, has enough seats and some decent cafes inside

New and clean installations. Nevertheless I've seen no elevators or ramps for people with disabilities. Lack of signs and information staff as well. It must improve this points for the upcoming World Cup games.

Very unpleasant place for foreigners. I came over Turkey and there was no pen to fill up migration card and nobody was even willing to give it. Had to borrow from some other people from airplane. On border check they check passport so hard that they broke my mai page with pictrue so now i have to replace passport. Its standard in this place and i am very tired. I think football championship in 2018 will be hard for tourists.
