Restaurante El Faro de Cádiz

Restaurant
Nestled just outside the historic center of Cádiz, Restaurante El Faro de Cádiz has been a beloved culinary gem for over three decades, thanks to the dedication of chef Fernando Cordoba and his wife Ana Isabel Puerto. Housed in a charming old manor surrounded by lush gardens that feature their own herb and vegetable garden, this restaurant beautifully blends modern aesthetics with traditional charm.
Our night at this restaurant was absolutely unforgettable. The service was excellent, warm, and made us feel right at home from the very beginning. One of the highlights of the evening was the Chirigotas show, which had us laughing non-stop. It was a brilliant and lively performance that made the atmosphere even more special. The food was equally impressive. The fish baked in salt was cooked to perfection, the wine selection was fantastic, and the dessert was the perfect sweet ending to an incredible night. Without a doubt, I would return to Cádiz just to experience this place again. It is truly a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy amazing food, great entertainment, and a night to remember.

Stunning dishes! A must to order the Tortilla de Camarones, Gilda de atún and Langostinos with chickpeas. Service was impeccable and if you are sitting at the bar, make yourself a favour and walk along the restaurant to see the decoration, truly special! A must in Cadiz!
Alejandro R — Google review
Overall almost excellent experience! The food was great. The highlights were tuna adobo, sponge cake, marinated clams. Miguel was very friendly and helpful. We recommend it overall, but we don’t give 5 stars bcoz the shrimps were not cleaned as expected. (We expected at least the head of the shrimp to be removed but it seems to be a common practice in Spain to serve the whole shrimp).
Sagadat A — Google review
Just a few meters from San Sabastian fort is this restaurant best to enjoy the sunset and then head for dinner, reservation required if you will be late, place has history and has some wines that were not available anywhere in Cadiz , we had a great time here alot of local and many British expats too
Franz P — Google review
I can’t fault this place for service or food, both impeccable. But atmosphere, there was none. The staff are very professional and helpful, especially with my food allergies. Their menu is clearly defined for allergens and the staff are also knowledgeable about the food they serve. I was able to eat my favourite rabo de toro for the first time in years because here, unlike any other restaurant where I’ve enquired, they don’t coat the meat in flour before it is sealed, so that was a rare treat. The salmorejo is also gluten free. Reasonably priced considering standard, quality and location. I would return.
Tina H — Google review
Interesting experience and one of the few places where I had to wait in line to enter just as it was opening for lunch. The bar is standing only, which felt like a very Spanish experience, but the tapas selection I got to sample was delicious. A lonely planet suggestsion, it was worth the wait.
Micah W — Google review
I felt privileged to eat the spectacular food they produce in this restaurant. We had sea urchin, prepared in a way we are not accustomed to. Usually, I have eaten it fresh on sushi or tossed with pasta. This delicate presentation was a delight! Pâté de cabracho, tortilla de camarones, albondiguitas de marisco, almejas con espinacas, navajas, tocino! The waiter stopped us before we could overdo it. But we can’t have these lovely things back home!😢and they took care of calling a taxi. Personal muy simpático y profesional. Do book in advance. It’s not difficult to get a reservation. Better reserve than turn up with no table!
Catherine M — Google review
For one of the better presentations of Gaditano cuisine, this is a good choice. We are in the more casual area, the formal dining room looked elegant and with a larger selection so if we went back I would try that. For the type of food and service offered in the more casual side, I feel that Casa Lazo is a much better choice.

Restaurante Café Royalty - Restaurantes en Cádiz

Restaurant
Restaurante Café Royalty in Cádiz offers a refined dining experience in a grand salon that dates back to 1912. The recently restored rococo-style restaurant serves up four courses of Andalusian cuisine, featuring dishes made with local produce. This historic establishment was once frequented by intellectuals, artists, and politicians before it closed during the Spanish Civil War. The café exudes an old-world charm and is also a great spot for tea or coffee accompanied by delectable cakes.
From the moment we entered the restaurant, the level of service was exceptional. Our server demonstrated a high degree of attentiveness and expertise, providing insightful recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. The culinary offerings were remarkable; the tapas were expertly crafted and aesthetically pleasing. The ambiance was welcoming and conducive to family gatherings, contributing to an overall memorable evening. I wholeheartedly endorse this restaurant for anyone seeking an exquisite dining experience. This is our third visit, and one of our favorites tapas place so far!!!
Idaliz P — Google review
Visited here today on my day trip to Cádiz. Lovely period Restuant. The service was good, however possibly a touch slow and the food was nice, however very, very small portions. We just had soup and two peppermint teas. I think this place would be lovely for an evening meal. Cost, soup £12.50 and peppermint tea £7.50 per person. That all said, I would still return.
Tony F — Google review
We stumbled upon this place and had a fabulous tapas menu here. The service was perfect and the food excellent we couldn’t fault the quality. I gave 4 for atmosphere but that was only because we ate early and were the only diners in the cafe section. Highly recommend.
Samantha M — Google review
Everything about this restaurant is 10/10. The interior is truly magical, the staff are really friendly and attentive, and all the items on the menu that we ordered were really tasty, including the desserts. I personally ordered a steak and it was truly one of the best I’ve had. I 100% recommend going here for lunch.
Sophia S — Google review
Once again Cadiz delivers above and beyond. This is a beautiful restaurant with decor which is a reminder of a different age. I chose the set Tapas menu and it was gorgeous. The croquettes were amazing and full of flavour and melted in my mouth. The omelettes were so different to what I would normally consider that dish to be but they were super tasty. The fish was superb and the desert, again something I have never tried, was so, so good. The service was quick and efficient along with lovely smiles. The price was perfectly OK for the quality of the food and overall experience. I'm going to use this space to say how wonderful Cadiz has been. Every day has provided a memory to treasure and an experience to remember. The people are lovely and friendly. I am so sad to be going home but I will definitely return soon. Oh, and here's a ❤️ right back at you, thanks for the coffee.
Phil D — Google review
The decor is fabulous, which is what attracted us. The restaurant menu looked great, so in we went for dinner. The wait staff though, seemed they did not want to be there. One in particular was most sour faced and displeased. We ordered the seafood paella for two, which was €120. We were expecting something amazing for this price and we were happy to pay thinking it would be worth it. However, it was far from worth the cost. It amounted to one prawn each and the tiniest lobster tail ever. It was no bigger than the prawn. The paella was overly salty and after the waitress served it up, she headed back to the kitchen with quite a lot of the rice left in the serving dish. We thought she might return and top us up with the rest of the dish that we were paying a fortune for, but she did not. We felt hugely ripped off!
Della W — Google review
It was a great place to visit, had the special royalty pancakes which were great, banana , blueberries and chocolate is a must try. Services was first class
Derek G — Google review
The decor inside is lavish with beautiful artwork on the ceiling. I felt like I was reliving the past from years ago. We were given 2 thick slices of bread with olive oil to dip our bread. Another plate of a mini portion of salad, with salmon pate and mini croutons followed before our appetizers. If you’re an out-of-town guest, make your reservations early. They seat you only at the time of your reservation. I am not sure why I was asked to make reservations even though we were the only people & 2 others who dined here. Food: 4/5 - we all ordered appetizers. The most interesting food was the small shrimp omelette that threw us off. See the photo. It was tasty though. Service: 4/5 - the food was brought out in a timely manner. Our server was average. Atmosphere: 5/5 - the place had a great feel to it.

Taberna Casa Manteca

Mentioned on

Bar
Taberna Casa Manteca is a lively tapas bar in Cadiz, known for its meat and seafood small plates, as well as a selection of beer and wine. The walls are adorned with classic bull-fighting posters and sepia images of matadors in their traditional attire. Visitors can enjoy the convivial atmosphere while sampling white anchovies and other delicious tapas.
Ignore the BS review recently shown by a so called local guide. You will notice that every other review is excellent ! This place was highly recommended by English and Spanish alike and when Spaniards wait to get in a place you know it is good, they don’t like waiting ! Been here twice in two days. Didn’t disappoint. Husband said the tortillitas camarones they’re famous for were best he’d ever had. Sadly they’re not gluten free but there are loads of gluten free options on the menu which is clearly labelled for allergens and the staff are allergen aware. The chicharrones were heavenly as was the carne al horno. Boquerones en vinagre, morcilla de hígado (white pudding), jamón bellota (best jamón there is) grilled marrajo fish in garlic and parsley oil, and patatas aliñadas were some of the absolutely delicious gluten free/lactose free/egg free options all naturally free from those three allergens and of course there is plenty of traditional fried fish (not gluten free) which all looks delicious. All you have to do is put your name on the list and wait then enjoy the atmosphere. Staff are great, so friendly and helpful, even offered to take my hubby to watch the tortillitas being made as he ordered so many. Not the cheapest place to eat but worth every penny. Top quality traditional Spanish food.
Tina H — Google review
My wife and I absolutely loved this place -- simply dripping with traditional Spanish culture. Yes, it's touristy and crowded. But it's filled with locals, and worth the wait! We could not get in for dinner (we did not line up early enough), but found it fairly easy to get in for lunch the next day. The tortillitas de camarones were exquisite, but so was the salmorejo -- which is served cold, and looks a lot like gazpacho. We did not know much about sherry, but asked for a semi-sweet sherry, and were happy to be served a glass of Canasta Cream sherry. (Quite a bit like Porto wine). The prices are very fair. Taberna Casa Manteca is a real gem. !Muchas gracias!
Jim M — Google review
Very delicious, only very hot - you can sit outside only (33 degrees in June), lots of people, noise and the waiters tired too. And you have to wait. The meal was delicious, especially tartita de camarones, salmorejo con helado. Mojama de atun had lot of salt for my taste. Fried fish was ok. Potato salads (both) were delicious, only it came too late, after all the food, after we asked again. Croquetas de jamon y camarones were very delicious. A guide from Cadifornia recomended us the place. Overall, my recomendations!
Raminta K — Google review
A brilliant place, after seeing a couple of photos exactly what you would expect. Friendly staff, busy with a great buzz. Amazing quality food. If you’re a sherry lover this is a must visit!
Bryan S — Google review
We walked 1.6 km under scorching sun to reach this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered one portion of the prawn omelette, a marinated yellowtail tuna and squid. The food was so amazing that we ordered another two portions of prawn omelette 🤭. Love it, 🥰
Delwin C — Google review
Very dificult with the language 🙈 Stuff doesn't clearly understood in english our orders. We had to use the pen and litteraly to point them by finger what we would like to order from thair's menus. Still, we did not get what we've ordered. Over all, one dish was missed and "El tuna" was overcooked and dry. Best choice for us was - fried squids.
Aurelija V — Google review
What an absolute find. Firstly, get here early! Queues form very quick! The food served here is cooked fresh, and comes dish at a time, dont expect everything to come at once. That's not how tapas works. The patatas alioli was absolutely out of this world!

What a gem! Amazing fritters with shrimps and croquettes. Atmosphere also great. I loved it!

Restaurant
Located just a block north of Plaza de la Candelaria in Cadiz, La Candela is a vibrant tapas bar that offers a fusion of global influences and Andalusian ingredients. The menu features inventive dishes such as baked salmorejo with pork loin tartare, melt-in-the-mouth bao candela, and sea bass ceviche with tiger's milk and mango.
Excellent fusion of Spanish and Asian cuisine at remarkable prices for this standard. Great choice of wines, service impeccable, we sat outside in the terrace. An absolute must if you visit Cadiz

Flavour, flavour, flavour. Wonderful place with creative dishes that showcase local ingredients in innovative and exciting ways without going too far. Staff are unbelievably hard working and attentive. Book in advance or take a chance and sit at the bar. A wonderful experience wherever you end up.
John W — Google review
The best tapas I tried in Cádiz. Very tasty food, I tried the octopus and salmon teriyaki... it was so delicious, the cheesecake was also very good. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation, but a few minutes later the place was full, so I think it's best to make a reservation.
Elidiane B — Google review
Cosy tapas bar hidden away on a side street. Some of the best food we had in Cádiz, loved the prawn taco, salmon maki and the Patatas! Would definitely return if back in this part of the world. Our waiter was also very friendly.
Grace D — Google review
Oh whoa it was the tastiest food we have eaten on our trip and we ate at a Michelin star restaurant, one of the nights. It was so fresh and well presented, we were accommodated without reservations but that was a Monday night! Would highly recommend
Sonia P — Google review
The best food I’ve had for a long time. The croquettes are the best I have ever had. The aubergine salad was delicious. The chips with tomato sauce were probably the tastiest fries I’ve ever had. All with two beers for less than 25€. Stunning. 10/10 isn’t enough.
O W — Google review
Another incredible experience for my last night in Cadiz! I so enjoyed the food hear, the fusion between Asian and Spanish was absolutely perfect! This was only round the corner from my hostel and was an absolute gem! I sat on the little terrace bit, and because I took so long enjoying the food I had to be moved to a different table for the desert. Amazing flavours! Would absolutely reccomend the Vietnamese roll. A taste sensation! Thank you!
Laurence A — Google review
The food was fine (quite average) but be careful with the specials as they took the opportunity to rip us off and charged 6x what the rest of the dishes on the menu cost. So disappointing and we left feeling absolutely conned. I understand that a special dish might cost more (maybe two or three times a normal dish on the menu) but when it’s on a different planet to the normal price range, it leaves a very nasty taste in your mouth. €68 just for crab and fries, plus the other dishes and drinks. I would avoid this place.

Mesón Cumbres Mayores

Andalusian restaurant
Mesón Cumbres Mayores is a charming and venerable tavern located in Cadiz, offering a rustic atmosphere with excellent quality hams and sausages, regional wines, and an unbeatable ambiance. The establishment has received several awards for its culinary offerings, including the best Iberian Carrillada hot tapas.
The pork cheeks were excellent – tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My only small complaint is that the side dish (fries) could have been a bit more generous. The lamb chops were also delicious and very tender, though adding one or two more pieces would make it even better. The sangria was fantastic – refreshing and well-balanced. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming, with a nicely decorated interior. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, a great dining experience!
J S — Google review
Very busy in the evenings with a good mix of locals and tourists. Traditional Andalusian tapas at the front counter and outside, while the back area is more of a restaurant. Portions are large, and you get bread, olives, and olive oil with your meal. We loved the lively atmosphere, but our steak and tuna steak were a bit disappointing – the fries were soggy, and the tuna was dry and chewy. Just our personal experience.
Sam W — Google review
A very nice neighborhood tapas restaurant that serves local favorites. For us the main feature is the iberico ham. The place is full of jamon hanging from the roof with garlics and vegetables. This region may have some of the finest ham in the world. Other favorites are the corquets and pork ribs. The date wrapped bacon is also delicious. We had a nice meal here.
C N — Google review
If you want to experience the true essence of Cádiz, this is the place to go. Warm hospitality, lively atmosphere, and a genuine local vibe make it unforgettable. The food is fresh, flavorful, and rooted in tradition – from seafood to classic tapas – with generous portions and excellent value. More than just a meal, it’s an authentic Cádiz experience not to be missed.
Catriona — Google review
An extremely popular and traditional place. At the front there are a few high tables and chairs outside, then you are into the tapas bar area which gets extremely busy with people ordering and eating, food and drink in that area. Through to the back is a more traditional seated restaurant area with table service. Definitely worth booking in advance at peak times. Food is really good, hearty traditional fayre.
John W — Google review
I found the food to be excellent but having seen the reviews about staff not being friendly or helpful i can understand that. It was an absolutely beautiful summers day at the end of July and I really enjoyed the iceberg cold beer that went down a treat. Cadiz itself is a stunningly beautiful town with an authentic Spanish vibe going on, I will certainly along with my wife visit again.
Johno — Google review
Vamos a comer aquí!! This place is superb if you want the full Spanish experience. The food and drinks were very good and the service was great with the guy who always was there when we needed him. Highly recommended!
Alexander S — Google review
Very busy restaurant. Tapas inside, more substantial meals outside in the street. Outside is better. Great waiter, attentive service, gives good advice. Rustic cookery, huge portions, not fine dining.

Tapas bar
Nestled along the stunning northern coast of Cadiz, Restaurante Balandro is a stylish gem that captivates both locals and visitors alike. This charming eatery boasts breathtaking views of the Bay of Cadiz, making it an ideal spot for enjoying creative local cuisine. The Velez brothers have crafted a menu that highlights fresh seafood sourced from nearby waters, featuring delectable dishes like octopus with mustard mayonnaise and smoked fish couscous adorned with raisins and pine nuts.
Went here for lunch 5 times during our month’s stay in June in Cadiz. Ate at the Bar each time and was generally there when they opened at 1pm. The food was very good and the service was just a little hit and miss although quite acceptable. Prices were good and the dearest part was the wine component. This was because their wine list was excellent and there was a lot of wines we wanted to try while we were in Spain.
Paul C — Google review
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Balandro! It was a fabulous experience! The waiter and waitress were very kind and patient with me as my Spanish is not the best.. The food was absolutely brilliant! It was good to try some Spanish cuisine with a twist, it was all so tasty and the desert was delicious! I’ve never had anything like it before. The atmosphere was great too, wonderful to see it so busy and alive! Thank you so much!

Nice place with a view over the sea. Friendly staff and good food. I ordered a fillet, good and tasty but not cooked exactly as I asked. I asked for medium-well and it was medium.

Really good restaurant. You really need to make reservations a couple of days before. Eating at the bar is fine. We had arroz caldoso with lobster. It was amazing.
Victor C — Google review
Wonderful seafood looking out onto the Atlantic Ocean. Service was a touch frosty, maybe because we don't have fluent Spaniah. Definitely a locals restaurant which is why we were there. It was packed. Food was great. Lovely wines. The grandstand reserva Cava a standout.
Philip G — Google review
The food was tasty but they forgot to bring us our drinks and starters. After 25 minutes they brought out the entrées and we had to ask for the drinks and starters again.

We went to this place following recommendations from Google and Lonely Planet. We had to wait for a table but weren't disappointed. We were lucky to sit outside, but there's a great buzz inside too. The food was great and service friendly. The salad of shrimp and octopus was really refreshing.

You know this is a real deal as the majority of visitants are local rather than tourist. There are some rules of thumb that simply work well. This place always has a tail of customers waiting, or you can feel the joy of people with the dishes and drinks. If you are looking for sea food / tapas / or a place to earn the experience of the South food, this is the right place. Great location with indoor or terrace restaurant, amazing service and obviously the great diversity of fish & sea food that has a quality well over the price. Amazing falls short so go and repeat

Amazing 1 Michelin star restaurant. All the dishes are inspired by the rich culinary history of Cádiz, with a modern twist. They work with local producers to recreate the bread that was baked with ancient grains. The "gold of Cádiz " it is a must. Service was impeccable as you'd expect from this kind of restaurant but friendly. The wine list was also well chosen and fairly priced. A night well remember.

We had an amazing New Year’s Day lunch here with their chef menu. Best fine dining so far we have found in Cadiz. Excellent service as well as prepared dishes. The oil that was made from fish during Roman times was fantastic. It is an experience and a reason to dress up and go out for a special treat.

Wow. We had walked by this place several days before, and I liked the vibe. We returned to eat today, and it was a fantastic experience. I asked our waitress, Lily, what she recommended. She suggested the scallions with seaweed. We ordered 2 for each of us. OMG they were amazing and very flavorful. Then we went for the lamb with vegetables, another wonderful and tasty dish, and we finished off with the meat with french fries. I was hoping to do the tuna steak too, but no space or appetite left. My restaurant sense dis not let me down as this was a great place for flavorful food. Am hoping we can return again in our short time visiting Cadiz.

One of the best tapas bars we have eaten in in Spain! So charming and so busy that it’s a given that the food will be fresh! We were seated close to the kitchen so I saw most of the dishes being brought out! Hard working chefs and staff! Lilly served us and was very sweet! We ordered quite a few tapas and the pulpo! Their local ‘wine of the house’ was also very good! Very economical as well! Fantastic! I would recommend this to definitely be one of the evenings in Cadiz! I would give them 7 stars 🌟
Nauhar R — Google review
We arrived after we had walked heaps of kms looking for the ultimate place to eat. We thought they were full so we had the feeling they would say no but …. My wife and her walking stick gave us the best seats int he house. We had the most amazing patates bravas, pork cheek, tuna steak, ibéro ham, and a bottle of the finest red wine coupled with service you die for in any restaurant you must try this if you visit Cádiz!
Justin B — Google review
Oh my goodness, what a delight! This place is compact (so probably not suitable for groups) but delicious! Definitely book if you can. We managed to sneak a spot at the bar without one, but it was very busy. I am gluten free and there were lots of options to choose from. They also provided me with a warm gluten free bread roll upon request. It wasn’t great, but that’s to be expected. Highlights were the braised pork and the heuvos rotolos. Also, the wine they served was excellent. I’d had a few too many overly chilled red wines in Cádiz but this was in a specific red wine fridge and so nice. Will recommend this spot to anyone visiting Cádiz.

One of the best tapas I tried in Cádiz. I had to wait a bit outside, but it was worth it. Very pleasant atmosphere, good service, and delicious food.

We were bar hopping for the evening and this was the first tapas bar we visited and we were super happy with the service by the waitress with purple highlights she was a delight, we laughed a lots at the time of ordering and she is a gem , she took good care of my gluten free request and was more then generous with her explanation, we knew we were in good hands and asked her to order for us she bought a glass of dry fortied wine and sweet fortied wine and a bottle of Spanish muscatel wine and we had a merry evening

Restaurant
Taberna El Tío de La Tiza is a popular seafood restaurant located in Cadiz, known for its delicious variety of seafood dishes. The charming square where it's situated offers a pleasant outdoor seating area. The restaurant is famous for serving unique dishes such as sea anemones, clams, and cuttlefish prepared tapas-style with simple garnishes. Due to its growing popularity, reservations are highly recommended, especially during the summer months when outdoor seating gets booked well in advance.
Make sure you book in advance, Always busy. Very typical, mainly with the locals. Food simple but very fresh. Nice advice from the brunette waitress. Will come back again! Definitely

Really nice restaurant in a cozy area of Cádiz. Food is delicious and fresh, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Staff is polite and welcoming, especially our waitresses Alva. We liked this place so much, came here 3 times during our stay.
Azniv H — Google review
This is the way any place should be: excellent food; efficient & attentive staff & great location! ( the restaurant itself is narrow, and has a second floor) but in summer tables are laid out in the nice square and one corridor outside. Good choice, honest food !
Sabas C — Google review
The menu is amazing with a fantastic choice of fish cooked in various ways. We enjoyed it a lot the first night and as the saturday was really busy, we went back as we knew we wouldn't be disappointed. There's a little wait for the tables outdoors, but worth the wait! Definitely go there if you love fish and their shrimp fritters are amazing!

Very decent tapas but nothing that blew my mind. All the tapas we had was really nice apart from the fried baby squid which was a bit squidgy and gritty. I didn’t love the cold mussels either. Price is sort of normal for the area Would recommend for decent tapas but again no wow factor for me.

Very busy! Very delicious! A long wait to sit outside but no wait to sit inside! Quick service, delicious food! Would recommend!

Excellent food and even better service. Fresh sea food and big portions. Albariño de la casa 10/10 Materia prima!
Trayana K — Google review
Be honest we are very disappointed about the food. It is not as good as people said online. The food tastes ok not good not bad but it’s fresh. The price is reasonable. The expectation is too high before we have the meal. The seasoning is too salty for us. The tomatoes salad with the meal are a good but again it is still a little bit too salty for us.

Tangier-Ibn Battouta Intl. Airport

International airport
Airport
Tangier-Ibn Battouta Intl. Airport is a convenient and efficient airport located in the heart of Tangier, Morocco. Travelers have praised its fast customs and security processes, as well as the availability of food, drinks, and shopping options on-site. The airport offers clean facilities with ample seating areas and a designated prayer room. Visitors also appreciate the easy access to taxis for transportation to the city center.
It’s totally hassle-free. When you arrive, you can easily get a SIM card. They have fixed prices, but you can still negotiate a bit. Passport control was smooth. The airport is only 25 minutes from the city, and I paid 160 DH for 2 people and 2 small bags — card payment is also accepted. For the return flight, you need to collect your ticket at the counter (I think until 04.11.2025), and passport control might take longer. There’s an Illy café where you can get a cappuccino for €3.00 and a pain au chocolat for €1.80.

Beautiful airport but very disorganised. Long very long queues at the check in and followed by longer queues at the passport control followed by another person checking the stamps on your passport. It's ridiculous.... If you don't like queues... Best to book fast track or wait upto 2 hours or more... In a way they force you to buy fast track which is very expensive Food is also very expensive at the airport.

Nice airport close to the center of Tanger, situated next to the free zone, small airport with a big parking lot that has no covered structures to provide protection from sun or rain 😤. People take time to go out from checking and I think thats a problem who needs to be solved, as always white taxi giving bad reputation about our beautiful country, bad words, and other pathetic acts in front of public. Bus is good but a little expensive, small taxis not controlled about pricing limit and this what we call corruption. I would like to thank police officers, sanitation workers, bus drivers, parking lot staff.
RICHIRICH L — Google review
This small airport with just 10 gates, is a 25min drive from town. On arrival, and right outside the airport, there are taxi kiosks you can purchase taxi coupons (yes they take credit card) - just bring them to the taxi rank. Airside, you'll find a handful of shops including duty-free, two cafes and a single toilet.

Small but simple and easy airport. There are useful comments shared on the internet and a video on youtube. For transport to city, there is an airport bus line number: AE run by Alda (the city’s bus company for all lines) The airport bust stops just outside the exit. I was not able to find much information before getting there, except the comments on Tripadviser. even at the airport when I asked about the bus details to exchange bureau, I was recommended to take a taxi. However my journey was super easy and quick and good value. My destination was near one of the stops so it couldn’t be any better. The bus has air conditioning, you can pay with card/cash. I think the main challenge was if you had any questions, despite trying to be helpful and using google translate, we struggled to communicate with the bus driver about the journey duration and take off time. The total drive from airport to Nejma took like 30-40 minutes. Here is a picture of a leaflet about the route

Small airport for how busy it seems, but they got us through customs pretty quickly, and there was Wi-Fi. Not too many places to eat after the passport line, but not terrible either. It was a bit of a walk to the curb and way further to leave the airport area.
Heather A — Google review
A poorly designed airport! The service is awful too. The location of airlines check in counters kept changing without notification. Check in counter staff are least helpful and unwilling to even consider looking for alternative seats for us. At the gate, economy passengers were placed in two different lines according to their seat number. People having seats in the back half of the plane were asked to go first. However, it was clear that some in the front rows were allowed in because they were Moroccan. Two of those people were standing right next to us before our tickets were checked and separated into two rows. Further, we usually enter a lounge through the use of our elite master cards, but the lounges refused to let in despite the fact the lounge was empty! We found Moroccan airports are generally unpleasant. During our travel within Morocco we cancelled our domestic flights and opted to travel by Al Barq fast train

The worst airport in Morocco and probably in Africa. I am sad to say this as a Moroccan but this is the reality. I was extremely deceived by air Arabia staff being so rude, asking me to weight all of my personal baggage even my camera and anything on me, saying it shouldn’t exceed 10kg. I flew with air Arabia probably 50 times before and I have NEVER been asked this! Same thing with other airlines, never before! I was forced to empty my own stuff to loose 3 kg before getting my boarding pass. The staff was heartless and mean. I wish to see us doing better than this in our beautiful country, either with locals or tourists. If this keeps happening, we are literally destroying the experience for everyone.

Seville Airport

International airport
Airport
Seville Airport is a gateway to the vibrant and culturally rich city of Seville, known for its stunning architecture inspired by mosques, palaces, and orange trees. The airport provides access to a city rooted in soulful expressions of emotion, including the native Flamenco art form that originated here. Visitors can experience unique cultural activities such as attending a bullfight and witnessing the sun set over the historic rooftops.
This is a Red Riding Hood airport - Not too big and not too small! Good facilities, lively promotional events and decent eateries. Helpful working desks with bar stools, plugs and USB charger points! Because it's not too big, there's no chaos of people dashing around to reach their departure gates! Everything is peaceful here. Is it reflective of the 'cool' and 'stressfree' Iberian way of life, I wonder? Muchas Gracias🙏

Easy Jet need to install self check in at Seville. We arrived 3 hours before our flight & had to queue for ages. Check in staff finally arrived about 100 mins before flight. The airport itself was clean with nice views of runways. Decent food selection.

We arrived at Seville Airport on an SAS flight and were directly released into the departure section upon landing, which was a bit confusing. The airport felt quite outdated overall. Walking from the departure area to the baggage claim felt more like heading into an underground parking garage, visible concrete post and columns (not esthetic), not very welcoming. On the positive side, getting to the city is easy with the airport bus(EA), which runs regularly and is convenient. Just a heads-up: taxis currently do not accept credit cards, so make sure to have enough cash on hand if you plan to use one(if you are 4 you can consider using a taxi)

Easy go Airport. Small with some minutes delay at flight. Close to the city and easily accessible by the airport bus. Our boarding was at midnight and all the shops were closed already. Some automated machines were not working properly (card was not accepted, the same water had different prices in the same machine at different position numbers).

We flew Ryanair from Seville to London Luton. The flight was at 1:30pm local time, we arrived at the check in counter around 11:20am, we managed to check in the luggage around 11:50am. We have a young child with us so we were able to get through from the priority lane for security. Walking towards gate C25, we arrived at the passport control. That took us around 15 mins to get through. After that, we found water fountain near the toilets there. I was most impressed with the breastfeeding room/ nursery here. There is a microwave to warm up stuff. There were also some children’s toys around. Right outside of the toilets there were plenty of charging stations and they worked. There is one cafe with sandwiches and pastries after passport control and many vending machines. However there is no restaurant. Overall the airport is not big but with enough and sufficient facilities.

Got to love an airport with TWO tapas bars! Really liked the fact that the gate number was already waiting on arrival and the signage told you how long it would take to walk there. Took the stress out completely
Lynn H — Google review
Great clean airport, plenty of toilets and places to sit down and wait, security can get long at peck times, well signposted, public bus to get you into the city
Gerry — Google review
Horrendous experience. Sign posts car rental return as P1, only to find out it's P5, so you have to release ticket to get out of P1, then circle around the airport to find P5. Can't you put up P5/rental car return? The security guard in P1 who was very helpful, said it happens up to 200 times a day. We were unlucky enough to experience a night of a football match, no announcements, no public transport available, queues 700m long to get a taxi. The toilets in the departure building are a disgrace, no toilet paper, overflowing waste baskets. Overall, we will avoid Seville airport in future. Malaga is so much cleaner and easier accessible.

Jerez Airport

Airport
Air transport hub with domestic & international flights, a duty free shopping area & bus links.
Small and pleasant airport. The airport is exceptionally quiet and peacefully situated. Everything runs smoothly, and the staff is friendly. You can enjoy beautiful views during takeoff and landing.

Its a small airport. Very quick exit and entry. Just a few eating shops. The bus and trains to Cadiz centre are available but the timings are very uncertain. Be prepared to wait upto 30-45 to get a public transport. Staff is friendly and you can navigate easily. I am attaching a photo of the railway station.
Pranjal N — Google review
Compact airport -- just a few steps from car park or train station to the check-in desks. Jerez airport has some facilities (several car rental firms; cafes; duty free shop) but its charm is the provincial setting and short distance through security onto the plane. The car park has orange trees, the airfield is tree-lined. And when not too many flights arrive at once, the atmosphere is quite mellow.

I LOVE airports like this. 15 minute taxi to/from centre of Jerez (€15-20) - makes a two day break totally possible 5 minutes to pass through bag checks 1 minute to pass through customs International travellers leaving Spain: the passport checks didn't open until one hour before the flight so don't arrive mega early at the airport. I arrived 1hr 45 before my flight to UK and had time for a drink, food, and two toilet stops :)) with a good bit of time spent on TikTok. The pace of the airport is so chill that it just strips away all stress. Small airport so food offerings limited, but prices reasonable by airport standards. One of the best airport experiences for an airport of this size.

Very convenient airport, connected by train to Jerez and Cadiz. But they need to improve the services frequency. The terminal looks old but it's functional, a revamp will be needed. One basic thing missing is a water fountain to refill water of bottles, this is a must in all spanish airport. I asked the staff they said they used to have one but it was removed. This easy addition will add up for a better experience of using the facilities of this airport.

Small airport but very efficient staff , they quickly do check in and security. There is one bar outside one inside , one shop for souvenirs outside and one inside. The one outside is more interesting and has better souvenirs . The bar is very expensive and same for local products like oil and vinegar, it was too expensive . The bar has limited food offers and it’s mainly pork and one cheese option. Fresh orange juice cost 6e which is a LOT . Water also cost 5e for a medium one. I am shocked by the prices at such a small airport and lack of local fresh food

Much better experience than many other small airports on Europe. But it would be nice if the bathrooms had paper towels for drying your hands.
