(Translated by Google) They have a very cozy place with careful interior design. Its marketing focuses on Makis from Japan, but its menu includes dishes from different Asian countries such as Phat Thai from Thailand, Kongbao chicken from China, Poké Bowl from Hawaii, etc. Perhaps because it is a franchise or because when you offer a wide variety of dishes you are not specialized in anything, the dishes lack authenticity and the raw materials could be improved: Phad Thai's pasta was soggy and lacked essential spices for this dish and it didn't even have peanuts, in the Uramaki Tuna sushi roll, the "cooked tuna" is canned tuna and the Tuna Tataki had no flavor. Likewise, our children liked eating there and the Makis are better than those you can buy in supermarkets. The service was fast and friendly.

(Translated by Google) This is our second time here! It's truly incredible! There are few people early in the evening, and it's super relaxing! The service is fast and good! Although it's worth noting that last time they made a mistake on one of the dishes, but they told us they could replace it without any problem (we didn't replace it, and it was still good). I recommend it 100% and we'll be back. We love eating there, although they could certainly offer some promotions. (Translated by Google) The food is delicious, and I would go back. The downside is the waiters. We arrived at 10:00 PM, and they were already pressuring us, telling us the kitchen closes at 11:30 PM. I felt really pressured into ordering right away, and they tell you all the bad things about how long you'll be waiting and how the kitchen is busy while you ask for a table so you don't get seated. I would go back for the food, but not for the service.

Such a good experience! The sushi was so so yummy and they have great vegan options! They actually only have one vegan sushi roll on their menu but I asked for a mix of 10 and look what they've made for me! Even an avocado sashimi, very thoughtful. And it was really one of the best sushis I ever ate and I'm a great sushi lover! Also, the gyozas are very tasty. Highly recommended!! Muchas gracias :))

Restaurante Japonés - TABERNA JAPONESA INARI is a popular spot for Asian cuisine in San Fernando. The dishes are well-presented and made with high-quality ingredients, making it a great choice for special occasions. The restaurant offers both indoor and terrace seating, providing a pleasant dining atmosphere. While the prices are not cheap, the overall experience and attention from the staff are commendable. Reservations are recommended, and the staff is accommodating regarding Covid protocols.

Decent restaurant, we had the fujiyama, langostino ebi nari, yaki udon de cerdo, cerdo panko. The sushi fujiyama and the langostinos were very tasty (see pictures). The udon and cerdo panko were fine but I would try something different next time. If you are in the area go give this restaurant a try, but I wouldnt take a longer drive just to go there.

(Translated by Google) We go in parts, the reservation is good, very friendly on the phone and they already warned me to bring the Covid passport. They asked us when we arrived and our table was ready. The waitress is very friendly and the place is very nice. We ordered a couple of beers, a starter and two main courses. The first starter we ordered had some grains of undercooked rice and we told the waitress, I have to say that the flavor was good but there was almost raw rice. We ordered another starter and although it was again very rich in flavor, they used the same rice that had many raw grains. The second ones were very good. I don't have much more to add. The price even economical. I thought I would pay more but it was 35 euros for 3 beers, a starter and 2 seconds. I'll probably come back because anyone can have a bad day when making rice.

(Translated by Google) Three of us went to celebrate Father's Day and first of all, it seems fair to say that this business is a good reference for Asian food in San Fernando. It is not a cheap place, but it can be said that the dishes they serve have a careful presentation and excellent quality of products. The place has a terrace and several indoor tables distributed in a living room and room next to the bar. The attention received in general has been very good. The reservation made just hours before was received with very good kindness. As for the food, for me it was great. Aside from the reception of the last dish, which in my opinion took too long, all the other dishes were served with a reasonable amount of time. We have not given it 5 stars because we were sitting in front of the kitchen door and from this table we could see how most of the time the kitchen staff either did not have their mask on or had it down. I think this is unfortunately still quite important to value. For everything else out of 10.

Overall positive experience. Ordered a chicken curry tapas and some lemonade, then espresso. The chicken was a bit hard and may ask for more spices, but overall well made. Espresso was too biter in my opinion, may be over-extracted a bit. Had somewhat hard time getting attention from the service, had to stand up to call them otherwise went unnoticed. The meal ended up cheaper than i expected, considering it is somewhat high status place. All in all can recommend a visit, especially if you on the way and looking for some food and relax time :)

I truly want to like this place but each time we have gone it simply has not been the best sushi we have had. This place has a great reputation among many military members but not for me. If you have had great sushi this place may.... MAY disappoint you. However, if you never had sushi this is a great place to get your foot in the sushi world. Since it is the only sushi place in Rota it is okay but if you explore outside of Rota you are bound to find top shelf sushi.

This review is short and to the point. The staff is great. The restaurant is not too bad either however the food today suprised me. The orange chicken I received for take out was in fruit jelly. The pictures are the proof. The first time I ate here I ate inside the restaurant and the food was ok. Today it looks like they need to revisit some of their menu options.

Loved it. The food was excellent. We had veggie spring rolls, curry dumplings, sautéed broccoli, veggie thai curry and Avocado Maki. All was very good. Especially the Thai curry, it tasted exactly as in Bangkok - with lots of lemongrass.
Martina P — Google review
Xiaonan and the staff are like family. That is how often I eat here. The vegetables are always very fresh. I get a slightly modified entree as I Love broccoli 🥦, so always extra broccoli. Service is always very good, food is ready quickly. Just love the food. I would just like to redo the interior of the restaurant.

Wonderful Asian restaurant with a blend of Thai, Japan and Chinese food. Icy cold beer and nice soups.
Steve S — Google review
Decent Chinese and the first real heat I've experienced in any food in Spain. the red curry was really great as was the gong Pao chicken. The fact they deliver is a plus. It arrived very hot!
Jackie T — Google review
Our new go-to for Chinese food. Pretty much everything is available spicy, as spicy as you want it. We always order the (spicy) beef & chicken w/ garlic and the beef w/ green peppers. Both are really good, especially with some rice. For sides, the egg rolls and egg drop soup have never disappointed. Delivery is ridiculously fast

VA Sushi, located on the ground floor of a large building, is a Japanese restaurant that offers a variety of sushi options. During a visit on a quiet Saturday afternoon, the customer enjoyed warm saki and green tea along with salmon, tuna, and eel nigiri. While the nigiri had an adequate fish-to-rice ratio and decent size, they were not considered the best in Cadiz. The smoothness of the saki was appreciated.
We have been coming to VA sushi since they opened and highly recommend it! Lived in Japan for 11 years and VA sushi doesn’t disappoint. The service is excellent and when my husband forgets what he wants, she always remembers 👍
Tamara G — Google review
Va Sushi is in a large building on the groud floor. Came here for lunch on a Saturday, and it was not busy at all. Ordered warm saki, green tea, salmon nigiri, tuna nigiri, and eel nigiri. The nigiri are a decent size and fish-to-rice ratio. Not the best I've had in Cadiz. The saki was smooth. Also ordered maki dragon, red dragon, and eel roll. The rolls and are nothing special but the flavors are there. The wasabi is not spicy at all. Nothing great just to go to, but would come back if I was back in the area.
Gil C — Google review
The sushi was flavorful but I was disappointed. The roll was more rice than anything and the fish was cut paper thin, and in one place on the roll it was so thin it looked mauled. So, for me this was an average sushi experience.
Matt C — Google review
Wow... Just fantastic, super fresh food, great prices, excellent range of sushi and fantastically presented.
Ian A — Google review
Huge menu, delicious food. Good service, especially for Spain. Prices are decent as well for sushi. If your friends don't like sushi it's OK, cause there is a ton of other stuff on the menu. Things they don't have much of is beer and dessert. They are open late though, parking is easy and they have a ramp for wheelchair access.
William A — Google review
Had a very enjoyable and reasonable priced meal, Japanese cuisine. A treat for my birthday.
Nicholas ( — Google review
Service isn’t very attentive. Sushi missed the mark, hardly any fish in all the rolls. I’ll give it one more try but a sushi restaurant that lacks the fish and charges high prices won’t get my business for long.
Justin M — Google review
By far the best Sushi/Japanese restaurant in the area. Located in the movie theater building with an early dinner dining time starting at 7pm, an hour before most restaurants open. I am not a fan of sushi, but my husband said everything he's tried here has been great. I've ordered many non-sushi items such as fried rice, spring rolls, lemon chicken and pot stickers to make a few. The menu has pictures of all the items, which helps make it easier to order. Recommend!

Welcome to the enchanting world of Sushisom C.C. Bahia Sur Cadiz, a haven for sushi aficionados and culinary explorers alike. As you step into this gastronomic wonderland, prepare to be transported on a journey of flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. The chef's specialties are nothing short of extraordinary, offering an experience where every bite is a delightful fusion of sea and sky, with rice as fluffy as summer clouds.
The buffet is a great offer for a group. Big sushi portions and amazing taste ❤️
Basia C — Google review
Good atmosphere and kind staff. The food was affordable, the sushi not my all time favorite but good for the value. Got the flamed salmon a couple times, that was my favorite.
Laura D — Google review
The orders were not aligned with what we wanted to. It took almost an hour for first orders to arrive. They brought out the easy ones to make. Rice is not proportion to the protein. All you can eat for one price but there are extra charges on the food and we are not informed that there will be extra for any of the sushi. Fish, not that fresh..
Jose G — Google review
Oh, fellow sushi enthusiasts and adventurers of the culinary cosmos, gather 'round as I regale you with the tale of my belly's delight at the mystical realm known as [Restaurant Name]! 🌟From the moment I stepped into this haven of gastronomic wonder, I was whisked away on a journey of flavors that danced upon my taste buds like nimble ninjas at a sushi soirée. Each bite of the chef's specialty transported me to a realm where the sea meets the sky, and the rice is fluffier than clouds on a summer day.But let's talk about the pièce de résistance—the chef's specialty! Oh, what a marvel it was! Picture this: succulent slices of sashimi so fresh, they practically leap onto your chopsticks in excitement, nestled atop a bed of rice so perfectly seasoned, it's as if each grain was whispered sweet nothings by a sushi sensei. And the presentation? Oh-ho-ho, dear reader, let me tell you—it was a work of art! Every plate that emerged from the kitchen was like a canvas, painted with vibrant hues of fish and seaweed, garnished with delicate accents that would make even the most stoic food critic weep tears of joy.But what truly sets [Restaurant Name] apart is its whimsical charm and delightful ambiance. From the quirky decor to the jovial banter of the staff, every moment spent in this sushi sanctuary felt like a joyous celebration of life, love, and all things delicious. So, my fellow food aficionados, if you find yourself craving an adventure for your taste buds and a feast for your senses, look no further than [Restaurant Name]. For in this enchanted eatery, every meal is a masterpiece, and every bite is a journey to the heart of sushi paradise

For all foreigners coming to perform protects in Cadiz at the shipyard or Military planning to spend a good time, I can only suggest you to stay away from this place! . There are better places to go and enjoy your time and spend your money. Don’t expect any good service nor effective and respectful communication. First, they have what it looks as a scam system in which a sign is placed on the left lower corner of the screen on the main menu that you get charged 2 euro per untouched dish, if you wish to take it away they will charge you more. We had encounter a shameful situation by one staff member which he came to the front entrance and started raising his voice that we left dishes, point is that is not a matter of paying the additional 10 / 15 euro additional but how it is address and the lack of communication informing at the intro. The restaurant is understaff and you have to almost beg for wasabi or soy sauces. Please go to a proper sushi place in which you might spend a bit more but food is at a better quality same as the service, specially that Europe is known for having the most respectful service.
Asis L — Google review
Very rude Chinese stuff screaming, almost triggered for fight over some pieces of food left over. Long waiting time. Very unpleasant atmosphere. Even though I have been here many times before I will never come back! I don’t recommend!

I took the food and just ate salmon sushi.... There are one spine (It was really huge and it poked my tooth) and white short thread.... I don’t understand why they are in the sushi and rice..WHY and HOW?? I would have complained if I were the buffet! Please take care of sanitariness and cleanliness well!!

Unfortunately i cant give a 0 star review so thats why this place got one star from me. It was the worst sushi i ever had eaten, it was a traumatic experience for my mouth it was just horrible the "fried shrimp" was cold so it seemed like someane didnt finish it so they gave it to us, almost all the plates where broken and if you think it cant get even worse, you're TOTALLY WRONG. So they didnt even use real sushi rice so the sushi fell apart all. The. Time. And the fish did taste bad too and the nori (the thing that gets wrapped around sushi) was almost impossible to chew on like it was made from rubber. I needed to chew for like a minute! This is the first and last time i went there. After i was done eating in my mouth it tasted like raw stinky expired fish. Horrible

Acoustics: 4 stars - we could talk quite comfortably. We spotted this place whilst walking past the previous night - international cuisine is pretty rare in this town, so we were keen to give it a try. As it turned out, it was their first week. We didn't book, and although we didn't need to , the place filled up while we were there. It is a small place, with only four or five tables. Food was quite satisfactory - the usual collection of sushi, sashimi etc, nothing very adventurous. I was hoping there might be some ramen soup, but unfortunately not. Service was a bit slow, but hopefully that is just a teething problem, with this being their first week and the place full.

(Translated by Google) A place specializing in sushi. I remember coming here shortly after it opened, and I can say it's improved enormously, both in decor and food quality. The tartar is the best I've ever had, and I've had the largest portion. I loved how they've included mackerel as a fish on their menu and how they've innovated the styles of their dishes. The homemade desserts are a must-try. I'll definitely be back often. But reservations are recommended because the place is small and tables fill up quickly.

(Translated by Google) In my humble opinion, the best sushi restaurant in the province of Cádiz. Masterfully made sushi, a very cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Few tables create a relaxed atmosphere, so you never feel overwhelmed. They also offer delivery service. The staff is extremely pleasant and helps you choose if you're a sushi novice. A very, very positive experience. I sincerely recommend it. Their hemline uramaki should be a World Heritage Site! Miss Sushi Rota offers a wide variety of options on their menu, including sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri. The quality of the fish is considered average by some patrons. However, the salmon surf roll stands out as a highlight. The Japanese beer served is comparable to Sapporo. While prices are reasonable, it may not be the top choice for sushi in Rota.
Yooooo! I took a chance going here because I haven’t found a spot for Fried Rice yet and it was so fire!!! Flavorful! Hot all the way till the end, the veggies were flavorful! Didn’t need to add any soy sauce or anything! The sushi was on point too and wasn’t falling apart like other places! The only thing is I ordered the Crispy Crab Roll and got a Shrimp Tempura Roll or something but it was fire too so I didn’t care.
Hntr S — Google review
Went for dinner as soon as they opened. Lot of variety to choose from on their menu. The quality of the fish for the sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri is average. The salmon surf roll was probably the best out of the order. The cerveza de japonesa was okay, tasting similar to a Sapporo. Prices for everything are okay. It won't be a top pick for sushi or food in Rota. Additional comments: Ordered delivery and the sushi was good. Since they are on the food delivery app, I would continue to order from them if craving sushi and can't go sit down to eat at the restaurant.
Gil C — Google review
I'm here to add to the already noted reviews that their delivery and customer service is terrible. I wish I had read this before. I tried 3 different time to order from here in the past year and the first 2 times they accepted and then canceled my order. This last time, they accepted, they charged me, and said they wouldn't refund me because they said they delivered it. I really hope this places goes out of business, we don't need people like this taking people's money.

We had been wanting to try this place, the website indicated they open at 13:00. We arrived at 13:30 and were told they would be open in 15 minutes. We returned in 15 minutes and were told no food was ready, that the rice had not been cooked. Shoulders were shrugged. Oh well. I doubt we’ll try again.
Kelley L — Google review
Terrible service. Waitress took off across the street for a cigarette break. Later returned to hang out with her friends in a corner and hand out free beers. She was worried more about hanging with her friends than actually working. Probably one of the worse dining experiences ever! To think we actually paid to eat there. Don’t go!!! Whoever the owner is, you need to be present and witness what is going on in your absence.
Dawn J — Google review
Their delivery system is horrible. 4 cancelled orders out of 5 orders paid for. The food is great when you actually get it.

Worst service. We walked in and the worker was talking with someone outside of the shop. We expected he’d tell us to wait a second until he finished his conversation but he never spoke to us. He kept coming in and out of the place without even saying hello or anything. We waited for 5 minutes while we were ignored and then we left to another ice cream shop. (Translated by Google) First of all, I must say that the food was very delicious, but the service left a lot to be desired, not on the part of the waiter who served us, who was very kind and apologized every time we told him where the food was, but on the part of the delay in serving us the food, and also, we saw how delivery people came out again and again. We had a reservation for 2:30 p.m. for several days, that is, we did not show up by surprise. They didn't bring us the first dishes until around 4 o'clock, after having requested them several times, mostly because we were going with three small children and they told us several times that at least the children's dishes... In addition, several dishes were missing from the menu we ordered. They gave us a 15% discount to apologize, and we appreciate it, but that the children eat at 4:00 p.m.... and seeing how food was being distributed, I don't see the logic or justification. I think they should be better organized, since it is better to provide good service than to provide many and not serve them correctly.
