French restaurant
Rustic, traditional, cozy, and lively, this restaurant offers both a gastronomic feast and a culinary adventure with its authentic Corsican dishes. Don't miss out on the opportunity to indulge in their mouthwatering specialties if you appreciate good food. The menu includes lamb leg, wild boar stew, spit-roasted veal, rib steak, and other grilled meats.
Fantastic place, up in the mountains, set menu, Corsica at it’s best
Max W — Google review
A masterpiece! Possibly the best restaurant I visited in Corsica. It has a feeling coming from a huge family celebration. Everybody eating the same food, gathered around a huge roasted veal. A great experience among friendly genuine people.
Stergios V — Google review
We drove up the mountain on a quiet village from Île Rousse town. Big restaurant, nice ambience. Need booking. Go there with empty stomach as they will really feed you. Everything except drinks was included for adult around 40 euros and half for kid. Started with hearty soup (vegetables bean and a bit of pasta). Quiches with herbs. Then you choose meats and dessert. They served with potato gratin. Roasted lamb was great and the lamb stew in Corsican specialty was delicious. Chocolate fondant and lemon pie were yummy but we couldn’t finish it. Be sure to keep some space for desserts.
Kasree C — Google review
Do not have lunch ahead of your dinner here. Do not tell anyone about this place 😉. Best dinner and service ever experienced on the island… breathtakingly good food.
Piers B — Google review
The 5 course meal is obligatory and paying cash too, so be prepared. Five courses: Corsican soup, tart, meat, cheese platter, desert, wow! All for € 45 pp. Wine was amazing, service "fast and friendly" (for a French place). I always give it to Italians 5🌟+ they're amazing in hospitality, volunteer local guides of the tourism. Anyhow go to Chez Edgard and enjoy the meat/meal. But be aware about parking foreigners: mountain roads are already tricky when you are sober.
ELİF B — Google review
A great dining experience with a proper family feel. The 5 course dinner was very filling and very tasty! We had the spit roasted pork with the soup and tart to start. This was followed by a cheese board and an apple crumble. It was delicious. My wife is vegetarian and sadly the restaurant poorly caters for such individuals! The explained that she could pick the meat out of her soup and instead of the pork she could have an omelette instead but still pay the full amount as if she were having the set menu! I think there should be some more options for vegetarians as there are plenty out there who don’t eat meat!
Roshan V — Google review
The food was delicious! The menu was made of a soup, quiche (DELICIOUS), one main dish (meat with potatoes), cheese and a dessert. We tried the wild boar and the veal, both really good. The atmosphere is great, vibrant and cozy.
Elena M — Google review
Woooow! Just great. Amazing food, friendly organized team, great view. What a value for the price. 😍😍 seriously, if you are in the area ➡️ highly recommend

Nestled in the heart of Corsica, L’Alta Rocca is a charming farmhouse that offers an exquisite blend of luxury and authenticity. With its heated swimming pool and beautifully designed rooms, it serves as a serene retreat for nature lovers seeking tranquility. Guests can indulge in traditional Corsican cuisine, featuring recipes lovingly passed down through generations.
Amazing place! Very good service, food, atmosphere! And perfect beach near! Recommend to spend all day here!

The waiter and waitresses are all pretty young and capable! They speak well English too which we really appreciate a lot. The cocktails and cocktails are great. And the food are really good too! However the portion were too big and we had to take away in order not to waste food. Around 9pm, there is a guy who started singing, in different languages; totally lovely music (from John Lennon's to Michael Bublé), and going around the restaurant and mingled with people while he sings. And the view, absolutely stunning! A perfect place to stay for the evening if you're around the area.

Beautiful beach side stylish restaurant. Excellent service Lunch delicious

Bar is very nice with nice ambiance and view Staff is very friendly The food is okay, nothing special Prices are decent
Julia L — Google review
Nice place. Food was tasty, cocktails solid, prices fair. We left before the loud music But the gyros? Nope. That was not gyros, re maláka. If you want real gyros without a spit, fry the chicken in a pan, but not a deep-oil bath, what malakíes is that? Use more Greek yogurt, grate a cucumber and squeeze it dry, mix with yogurt + garlic, pepper, lemon juice, good olive oil, a few drops of balsamic. Add tomatoes, cucumber, onion. And take the feta out of the meat, ánte gamísou re vláka. Then you’ll have something that at least looks like gyros, not skatá-level mpourdés. Right now it’s pure xeftíla, re maláka. Everything else? Delicious. The burrata was excellent. Bravo.
Ili K — Google review
A great place by the beach, the food is delicious, the decoration is amazing very chill, 100% would recommand!
Mitchi — Google review
It's a bit grubby outside, I think more of a nightclub feel, inside looked lovely, I only stopped for a drink.

burger was only a bread and meat with some salat to top by yourself. the extra sauce came so late that there was no use for. cool place but not the money worth.

Domaine Terra di Catoni

Vineyard
Domaine Terra di Catoni offers a delightful experience for visitors. The owner provides informative tours of the vineyard, sharing insights into organic wine production. Guests are treated to stunning views, including a glimpse of the Italian mainland. Tastings feature a variety of wines in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, often accompanied by engaging conversations with the owner and staff. Visitors are enticed to take home locally produced bottles and are encouraged to sample the exquisite olive oil as well.
We came a group of 4 people to do a tour of the domain with wine tastings with a paired lunch and had the best time! The domain is beautiful with views overlooking the sea, and the tour was absolutely fascinating. Hearing the passion and love that Christian has for his domain is contagious and inspiring, and his knowledge of wine making and Corsican agriculture is very impressive. We were treated like old friends and felt totally welcomed, and we can’t wait to come back to experience it again! The wines were all delicious, and we couldn’t help ourselves from buying a crate to bring back home with us. 10/10 recommended!!!
Mayan G — Google review
We had dinner on the terrace on a windy end-of -September evening, since there’s no inside sitting. We had a good red wine as aperitif, then we had cold cuts to share, followed by fish and what they call veal “sauté”, but more of a stew. Quality and service average, prices medium/high as in average touristy eateries.
Dan D — Google review
Stopped for a coffee while driving up the coast. We hadn’t planned to but it was positioned in such a lovely position overlooking the small harbour around the corner and shaded. The service was friendly and welcoming and the environment very chilled out. We had 2 coffees and they brought out coffee, water and 2 lovely biscuits and let us sit for as long as we wanted taking in the view. Menu was charcuterie and daily special of lasagne however we didn’t eat as it was too early and we continued on up the coast. Would recommend for a coffee stop!
Lucy W — Google review
Amazing "tasting" plate of charcuterie and various cheeses. Wine was exceptional. I particularly liked the "Mare nostrum".
Gilles H — Google review
We had a fantastic experience at the vineyard. The tour we'd booked was fluffed by the agent, but the owner honoured it anyway and showed us around. He was knowledgeable, friendly and generous with his time. He is also passionate about his wine and it shows through in the final products, which are delicious! The vineyard is beautiful and the views from the top are breathtaking. Thank you for a fabulous visit.
Paul — Google review
We had a very pleasant experience here. The owner showed us around the vineyard and explained a lot about organic wine growing. Along with extraordinary views (I was amazed we could even see the Italian mainland) we enjoyed a nice chat with the owner while tasting different wines in a friendly atmosphere. Hard to resist taking a locally produced bottle home and definitely recommended to try the olive oil as well.
Black O — Google review
We had the most fantastic tour on this beautiful domain with Christian, very personal and informatic. Not to mentorn the lunch! Soo much local, tasty food and wines to taste. I strongly recommend this tour!!

Les Roches Bleues

Les Roches Bleues is a charming cafe with a panoramic terrace offering breathtaking views of the Calanques de Piana. It's recommended to visit in the late afternoon for an unbeatable setting and surprisingly good food. While some visitors found the service to be average, many were impressed by the exceptional view and quality of food. The cafe is also praised for its kind and welcoming staff, making it a must-stop spot for breakfast or drinks.
Awesome food, nice staff, magnifique view ;) Loved it!

Very nice place. Food is good, service is excellence. Exceptional view, but parking may be difficult because of the tiny road. Prices very high I recommend to have a launch here at least once

Great experience. Worth a visit. Amazing service and atmosphere.

Apart from the beautiful, dramatic landscape – wow, the food and service were fantastic! I dare you to try the absolute best burger I’ve had in a very, very long time!
Jonas93 — Google review
Excellent food, breathtaking views and great atmosphere. It is well worth the visit. Waiters are very nice, but the service slips occasionally.
Charles L — Google review
Food really good, exceptional view, but service was average like in many places where they hire young non-professionals. Main plate got served during aperitif, wine bottle not opened... water forgotten twice and never received. But would go back for the quality food and the truly exceptional spot.
Ron N — Google review
Lunch with my wife. Food was really first class, the view is extraordinary. Perched on the side of a mountain in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Unique.
Mark W — Google review
Loud music, unattentive staff, no water brought to the table, wine opened but not served, ‘10h cooked’ lamb still loaded with fat and wrong order of mojitos with rotten mint and no sugar or taste of the rhum (basically an expensive glass full of ice and a slice of lime) - should have been one classic and a ‘fraise’. Very disappointing because the view is spectacular.

Mediterranean restaurant
Located on the port of Calvi, Le Comme Chez Soi is a classy and welcoming restaurant with several attractions. It features a beautiful terrace by the water, refined cuisine, and an extensive wine list. The menu offers options for various budgets, from Corsican dishes to more upscale choices. Visitors praise the stunning views of the harbor, city, and mountains from the restaurant. The friendly staff provides excellent service while serving delicious homemade food.
One of the best restaurants on the island!!! Hands down this is the best food that I’ve had in a while. The prices are quite high as the rest of the places in Calvi, but definitely worth the amazing taste. Would highly recommend trying the octopus accompanied by one of their wines. 10/10
Tudor M — Google review
My favourite restaurant duing my one-week stay in Calvi <3 I went there twice; one for apéro (spontaneous) and one for dinner (with reservation). I am a solo traveller, so I sometimes get this "a table for just one??" look, but I found the staff here very warm and welcoming, and the food+drinks were all great.
Ezgi O — Google review
Impressive cellar and expertise on wine recommendations that guide you through local vineyards and local taste. If you are a wine lover this place is a must visit. Don’t be fooled by the tourist traps nearby, this restaurant offers decent food in a decent price with excellent service and delicious wine!
Maria K — Google review
Good and friendly service (thanks for the wine recommendation), food was delicious too. Can highly recommend this restaurant.
Patrick H — Google review
very attentive and kind service, made an effort to get us our preferred table:) food was delicious! Would definitely come again
Alessa B — Google review
The 2 of us went there for dinner. They have a beautiful view on the harbour, city and the mountains. The staff was very friendly and helped us with a smile. The food was the same as the service, really good! Not a tourist trap at all but friendly people, good food and a nice view. We would go back!
Glenn S — Google review
We stopped for the bar area and had a glass of wine and an ice cream. They have flavors hard to come scross anywhere else! We got a scoop of Rose and another of Violet. It was so delightful and refreshing on a warm day.
Tanya L — Google review
A nice place by the harbor. The menu has been constructed with creativity, with great selection of wines for all tastes. The meet dishes are really good, but I would recomend the sea food because those are really exeptional. Book in advance!

Pizza restaurant
A Casuccia is a charming family restaurant known for its excellent Corsican specialties and delicious pizzas. The warm welcome and impeccable service add to the dining experience. The restaurant offers a beautiful terrace with stunning views of the Corte valley. Guests can expect authentic homemade cuisine with flavors reminiscent of traditional family cooking. The attentive and polite staff make the dining experience even more enjoyable, ensuring that guests feel well taken care of throughout their meal.
We had a lovely evening at the restaurant with a nice view. The pizzas were just great, especially the Burrata tomato salad with cheese filled pizza bread surrounded is amazing! And also the chili oil deserves its name 👌
Roger — Google review
My family of four had an outstanding experience at A Casuccia; beautiful view, very friendly and well communicated service, and delicious food. Also, the restaurant is a tremendous value given the quality of the food and reasonable prices. As Americans with a bit of French language experience, the staff were really fun to interact with as they spoke very patient and clear French and used English to fill in the communication gaps. It's a family owned and run restaurant and you can readily tell by the effort and joy they put into the service. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more highly, best place in 10 days of eating out in Bologna and Corsica.
Chris R — Google review
Friendly and fast service. Excellent food and very good value for money. For 22€ you get a 4 course "Menu Corse". The dishes we had were very good and the portion sizes generous! Next time we'll try the pizza which looked delicious.
Gori N — Google review
I recently dined at A Casuccia restaurant, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. The restaurant showcased one of the best region's cuisine, with a menu bursting with flavorful dishes sourced from nearby farms and markets, and outsanding Throughout my meal, the service was impeccable - friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer recommendations. As for the food, it was a delightful journey through local flavors from stater to main course and desert. If you're looking for a place that not only serves excellent local cuisine but also provides top-notch service, this restaurant is a must-visit. I left with a full stomach and a smile, eager to return for another taste of corsican cuisine. Given the quality of both the food and service, the prices were more than fair. It's rare to find such a perfect balance between top-notch local cuisine, attentive service, and budget-friendly options. This hidden gem has it all, and I left with both my taste buds and wallet extremely satisfied. It's definitely a place I plan to revisit soon
Alexa P — Google review
Absolutely delicious pizza! The crust was perfectly crispy, the ingredients fresh, and the flavor just amazing. You can really taste the quality and care put into every bite. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time – highly recommended!
Peter L — Google review
Amazing local place with excellent food. Admiration for the stuff on kidness and speed, though the restaurant was full. I had Corsican soup and cheasnut desert, both was tasting amazing. Great value for price/quality equation. Warmly recommanding the place to anyone visiting Corte. The little charm added are the friendly sparrows visiting the restaurant.
Tamara — Google review
Me and my girlfriend stumbled across here after being caught in a thunderstorm, and we left very happy. We started with Corsican soup which was delicious and so hearty and then we had boar and lamb chops and it was incredible! Then ended with crème Brûlée which was also out of this world. The whole evening was made 100x better due to the amazing hospitality particular Carla our waitress, truly amazing food and amazing ambiance. I’d 100% recommend ❤️
LOUDHOUSE — Google review
Lovely place, great food the pizza bowls with pasta were as incredible as they sound. Great atmosphere and fantastic service. I have a nut allergy and they were great, really clear and helpful with what I can eat - would definitely recommend.

A Funtana

Mentioned on

Restaurant
A Funtana, also known as Ah Fontana Restaurant, is a charming eatery located on the island of Corsica. This establishment offers a wide selection of dishes and specialties for visitors to enjoy. One of its notable features is the picturesque outdoor seating area where patrons can relax and savor their meals. The attentive staff members are always ready to assist with any needs or inquiries.
Funtana is definitely FUN! Momo is a delight and seeing him gather water from the flowing fountain was a delight!
Lori L — Google review
The food was deliciously made with fresh ingredients, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We were served quickly and the meal size was reasonable. However, I must admit that my expectations were a bit too high when we found this highly-rated restaurant. Compared to what I had imagined, it was an average establishment. The lack of music, harsh lighting, and unstylish decorations were disappointing. Even the water cups and other basic items looked old and overused. It’s a decent place to eat, but it’s not suitable for a fine dining experience.
N.O.D M — Google review
We ended up in Corte outside of “dinner hours” and found this restaurant based on the promising reviews. The atmosphere was cozy, and the waiter was friendly, he assured us that it was possible to have dinner earlier (we arrived at 5:30 PM, while most restaurants usually start serving dinner at 7). However, we waited over an hour for our food (we got it closer to 7, so it’s unclear what the point was :))) and the food itself was just okay, nothing special, pretty average, mediocre. It’s really unclear what all the glowing reviews are based on. As I’m writing this, we’ve been sitting here waiting for the bill for 20 minutes:) so I figured I might as well use this time to leave a review. :))
Olga — Google review
Nice place. Good service. We enjoyed the food.
Julien A — Google review
Amazing Gem of a Restaurant!! I had the veal fillet and the flavours were amazing, we also had a mixed salad and it was so nice to see a descent sized salad with lots to it rather than leaf, tomatoes and onion! Highly recommend and the service makes you very 🙏🏻
Christian D — Google review
We tried Lasagna and gourmet Co with three little sweets. Super delicious!
Ulrika H — Google review
Momo puts the fun in A Funtana. For non-French speakers, the charming Momo explained the entire menu. Every meal, from the vegetarian lasagna to the pluma (pork) and veal, stunning! Great sauces and local wines.
Michelle H — Google review
I expected more for this rating on Google rewiev. The restaurant is completely average. I was disappointed by the outside decoration of the space and the quality of the glasses (broken edges). I think the proximity to the fountain could have been used better and not just by scooping water for the guests. We had lasagne and a home-made piece of aged meat. The lasagne was definitely reheated and served with a pile of salad - very overrated. I have no complaints about the meat. The service was satisfactory.

We have been visiting the last four years and will be back If you approach people nicely you will get treated back nicely

Hidden gem. The food was amazing, the service was great and the setting was spectacular.
Harry L — Google review
Our cycling group stopped to have lunch. It looked like a really cozy place with great views. But….This Waiter has an attitude and was very rude. Insulted us several times and was too lazy to explain the menu. He rolled his eyes when we asked about dessert. He was upset when we asked him for the bill to pay. One of our group called him out in his attitude and told him to get another job since he looks to be so miserable at this job. We were very happy to stop for lunch as the location is beautiful. But keep going unless you want to be treated very badly. Keep going to the next village .
Kostopoulos G — Google review
Wait staff are very rude. Don’t bother stopping. Plenty of other great places with the same view. Looking at the other reviews, I’m not the only person who has noticed this. If you don’t want to be in hospitality, find another job champ.
Grant L — Google review
Amazing location but poor service, really unfriendly! I tried in my best French and they gave me no chance and were so rude. The carpaccio was a culinary catastrophe.. we had real problems to cut and chew it. And the worst was that we were invaded by wasps. At one point we had about 30 wasps at pur table. If you are allergic please avoid this place. After all this we wanted to go asap and surprise: no card paying just cash or PayPal ! Such a pitty all in all for this scenic spot !
A W — Google review
Very disappointing food for which we waited almost an hour. The mosquitoes were a problem, and there was not even a simulated attempt at addressing the issue when we requested assistance. The massive dog (apparently the owner's animal, as it seemed ok for it to come around sniffing) pissed on my car, which did nothing to help the mood. Disposed myself of what appears to have been a dead cockroach on my bench. We were seated off the main seating area, but when the next couple came around, there suddenly was premium seating available for them, even though they had not booked either. We came straight from the beach and seem to have been treated as gamma citizens as a result. Even the cutlery was totally blunt. For the price range, I would expect more.
Pascal V — Google review
Very nice view and inviting to stop. We wanted to have an afternoon coffee and maybe something sweet. When the waiter heard that we were not ordering a main dish, we were sent off.
Alexander M — Google review
This a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. A great menus for a reasonable price. The view from the shaded terrace is beautiful and the place is intimate and usually more peaceful and less busy than the bigger venues along the way. We recommend this place for food or "rafreshisement" on the Cap Corse loop.

I’ve been traveling to Corsica for years, and a stop at Boccafine in Nonza is a must for me. For sure one of the best restaurant on the island. The food is awesome and I’m always impressed by the young kitchen team – the way they put together such an innovative menu on a small and incroyable card. Fantastique. The atmosphere makes it even better, Caro and the staff make you feel completely at home, as if you’re part of the family, this by sitting right on the most beautiful place of the village, perfect to enjoy a long, relaxed meal. And Nonza itself is absolutely worth the trip – one of the most charming villages on Corsica. But even if it was just for this resto, the detour would be worth it.

Domestic airport
Bastia Poretta BIA airport is located 17km south of Bastia, Haute Corse. It offers convenient transportation options such as a bus shuttle service to Bastia town center and proximity to the Casamozza station. The airport is known for its helpful staff and accessibility. Additionally, it provides clear instructions for security procedures and maintains clean restroom facilities. While prices may be higher, this is typical for an airport setting.
Always a pleasure to fly to Bastia Poretta. Rapid baggage pickup on our first time here with hold luggage. Fast efficient passport control. A small but sufficient duty-free and retail/food area.

Too many flights at the same time and not enough busses to transport to aircraft. Incredibly slow check-in and OK security check. No place to sit and barely enough space for all the people waiting for their flights. Do not want to come here again.
Maja M — Google review
Little airport. Really good toilets in the arrival/departure hall but inside after the security control there are much less seats as passengers. Not good at all. I guess there is just enough seating for 1 small aircraft. I remember some African airports with the same standard or even better....

Stay away if you can. I have been to both Ajaccio airport and Figari. This is by far the worst. It’s extremely crowded. This airport is far to small for the extreme amount of people. The personel are very confused. Too be allowed first to check in your bags less then 1 hour before departure is very bad planning of the airport! When you enter the security check, there is absolutely nothing there. The stores and cafes have a que of 90 people waiting for a water. This is just extreme. Will not come back and will avoid this airport.

Best airport ever! The place where i feel home and most free

Small airport. No self check in or bag drop. Only a few kiosk. Small duty free. Long lines for check in. Buses to the aircraft. Not well functioning. Wc clean. Good parking. Rent a car pick up some hundred meters away. Mostly domestic flights.

Feels like 3rd world airport: Long queues almost everywhere for check-in, car rental etc. The waiting area at the gate is the lowest comfort ever, as many people need to sit on the floor at it seems too much effort to install some more seats.

The worst airport experience I’ve ever had. No food or drink vending machines, no soap in the toilets, and only one board to find your gate after check-in. The croissant and coffee were terrible, and the prices are questionable. After check-in, there’s just one tiny souvenir shop, and before check-in only a single bookshop. Overall, a really poor experience. I’ll never come back to this airport!

Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte Airport

Airport
Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte Airport, also known as AJA, is located just 6 km east of the city harbor. Travelers can easily reach the airport by taking bus number 8 from the town's train station or bus number 12 from P+R Campo dell'Oro. Taxis and rental car services are also available at the terminal for convenient transportation options. Despite being Corsica's main airport, it is relatively small in size.
Small airport, well-organized. Not too crowded outside peak holiday times.

small airport with not enough capacity for the influx of travelers during summer - once past security (long line, one working check point) there is no real food options except a bar with a few stale muffins and chips and mostly alcohol. 80% of people standing as they don’t have enough seats for the outbound traffic and inside is chaos

Very nice small airport, it runs very efficiently and was easy to get around. They have nice food and a bar and chicken is a breeze.

Tiny airport, easily accesible from downtown Ajaccio with not many facilities. You walk to the plane, there is no shuttle

Small airport, short distance to everywhere and friendly staff in general. They require you to print the tags at the machines firstly. Then wait for long lines to get to the drop-off counters which is another long line. There was no priority for families with infants. For baby trolley, you still have to go to another counter to drop it off. Then at the security check, again no fast lanes. And finally at the gates there was just one place for drinks/food. Then another lane for passport control and finally boarding (third time checking passports).

Heard air traffic controller go to sleep while working! Be aware!

Badly maintained airport with not much facilities. The toilets are okay, but the rest of the airport is shambles. Over priced everything and no substantial food places to eat apart from bakery. The boarding and check-in is a nightmare and the staff are not much helpful either. Would avoid it if there was a choice but unfortunately it’s the biggest airport in Corsica.

Flight on Sunday 12 May at 8:15. Arrived on time 6:30 or so, deposed baggage and joined the long queue for security. There seemed to be many passengers who arrived late for flights to Paris, Nice and Marseille. We let them all pass as their flight was leaving sooner than ours. When we eventually reached the place where you enter the area with the security scanners a short haired woman approached to ask us where we were flying to and when we responded with our destination her response was to treat us like we had behaved like naughty children, saying “non non, c’est pas possible - sortez, vous êtes trop tot. Our problem was her manner- rude, condescending, loud. Instead of explaining that although yes we had done nothing wrong and in fact had followed the instruction sent by the airline to arrive early, we needed to wait, she was just so rude and treated us like children in maternelle who had no idea what was going on. We left the area and went back to told we could now re- queue. Once through to the scanners we had to for some reason have our boarding passes rescanned before hand-luggage had to scanned and then another rude experience which is something I have never seen in any airport a security guard of some sort sticks his arm out to stop you walking through until he decided it is ok. Process took over an hour. On top of that bathroom not very clean. Poor experience after such a great stay in Corsica. A poor way to leave.

Calvi Sainte-Catherine Airport

International airport
Domestic airport
Calvi Sainte-Catherine Airport is located in the northwest corner of Corsica, approximately 13 kilometers from the trailhead in Calenzana and about seven kilometers from the coastal city of Calvi. The airport is small with limited facilities and no public transportation services, so travelers should be prepared to take a taxi.
small airport with it's special flair. easy going, easy living. small cafe with great view directly to the field (great!). very friendly personal! and the best clock i've ever seen at an airport :-)

This is the most horrific airport and staff that have ever existed in the history of airports. I witnessed a beautiful dog murdered by the conveyor belts, and the worst part was that the staff didn’t even care. They didn’t show any compassion towards the animal or the owner. She was covered in blood and dead before the owner saw her. The owner had to leave her dead dog. The only concern the airport had was fixing the concept belts. I will never step foot in this hellscape again. One star is too good for this place but I have to click it to be able to post this review. 0 out of 5!

Beautiful views. Horrible staff. The security staff is negligent and arrogant. I’m a professional photographer traveling with film and they refused to hand check even though we arrived 2 hours in advance and there was practically no one in the line. To add insult to injury the condescending staff even scoffed something about film being a trend amongst young people. Horrible unprofessional staff. I’ve been better treated in a run down McDonald’s than in this « touristic » airport. Great Corsican welcome. Will recommend the city, won’t recommend the horrid airport

The worst airport I've been to. Sure, the views outside are beautiful, but that's the only good thing about this place. The security crew is unqualified, rude and racist (xenophobic). Especially the two women checking the baggage - terrible experience. I was forced to pay an additional fee of 70€ for something a person after me (who had the same problem) was not charged - not even bothered at all, only because they were French... In my opinion that is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. I had a horrible experience here, and I would definetely not reccomend.

Disgusting. You let a beautiful dog get crushed between conveyor belts and not even cared to get it out before the owner's flight left? I hope no one ever sets a foot in this hellhole.
Kavya K — Google review
They let a dog died and did nothing about it. Did more for the conveyor belt that crushed her than for the family. No empathy at all.

A small airport that for the mostpart seems to work efficiently. The downside is the poor service into Calvi itself. The only way of doing this is to use expensive taxis (24 euros for a very short trip). There is no shuttle bus. The taxis were none existent when we arrived. We waited well over 15 minutes for one to turn up. Surely this situation has to be remedied?
