Grne

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant Clocktower Square at the start of pedestrian Marsal Tito's Street, Grne is a delightful culinary gem in the heart of Bitola. This charming eatery offers an impressive selection of traditional Macedonian dishes that are both delicious and reasonably priced. The freshly baked bread is a standout, perfectly complementing your meal. With menus available in English and enticing visuals, navigating your dining choices is a breeze.
Very nice and clean atmosphere. Polite waiter, good choice of Macedonian food and very delicious griddle
Alexander K — Google review
Really enjoyed my first taste of Macedonian food and excellent wine here. Try a spread of dishes with friends and you won't be disappointed the stew of pork & meatballs was great - menu available in English.
William C — Google review
We went for local food but the menu has changed.
Ilmar G — Google review
Very well located on the clocktower square at the beginning of the pedestrian maršal tito's street in the heart of Bitola. Food is good and good value for money. Bread was really well prepared. Menus available in english with some pictures. Beers are not on tap
Frederic P — Google review
One of the best lahmaguns I have ever had. The sauce is veery hot and spicy.
Hristijan S — Google review
You can find traditional Macedonian delicious food here 😊 and authentic atmosphere 👍
Murat K — Google review
I waited half an hour to get poisoned by the food. I do not even know how I could eat the meal... It was disgusting. They cook next to the toilet and cooks do not wear gloves etc. I got poisoned and I am at home resting. Please do not go there. The music was so loud and they transported me to somewhere else. There, people smoked and they did not even care until I warned them.

Worth visiting Especially during weekend!

Restaurant Korzo

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Korzo is a restaurant that offers classic home-cooked meals at affordable prices. The menu consists of a variety of dishes, all of which are enjoyable. One dish worth trying is the 'bieno sirenje,' a fried white cheese with a distinct and flavorful taste, although it may be slightly over-salted. Additionally, their french fries topped generously with cheese and homemade pizza featuring wild mushrooms are both delightful options.
My third visit to the restaurant in 12 months and each visit has been a delight. Friendly staff who speak good English and cook some nice food. This visit, I had Shopska Salad, followed by Lambs sweetbreads, which were cooked well. It was Saturday night and a good local band were playing in the bar.
Graham A — Google review
I had a great experience dining at Restaurant Korzo with my family. From the moment we walked in the staff made us feel welcome with their friendly and attentive service. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely amazing! The highlight for us was definitely the mixed grill meats. They were perfectly cooked, full of flavour and served fresh. You could really taste the quality and care put into every dish. Overall, Restaurant Korzo delivered on all fronts with delicious food and great service. We'll definitely be coming back! 👍🏼👍🏼

One of the biggest disappointments on this trip. This place use to be one of my favorite places to get nice food until this time , unfortunately. We were waiting almost an hour for the waiter to come. Food came very late and cold, not even a slight of effort to loom presentable on the plates . Bread was like a week old. They brought the extra French fries after 20 min when we were almost finish with the meal. I felt sorry for the waiter who was a very young person with way to much tables and guest he can handle . His colleague was extremely rude and unprofesiona making comments when I ask him about the late food. Believe it or not we were waiting more than 30 min for someone to bring the check so we can pay and leave this place. I am surprise why this place went so down and bad. Defenetly I dont recommend anymore I will never ever go back.
Sasho K — Google review
Good average overall. The pork chops are amazing. The setting is a bit cafeteria. This may have been our fault as there was a cinematography festival in progress. Recommended as very good for Shirok Sokak. Better cross the river 5 minutes to 'Near to Dragor'.
Des H — Google review
The food was decent. the frys came out cold and the fish was overcooked. I expected higher quality for the price. The service was ok. Not sure if I'll be coming back again. ***If anyone likes my honest reviews then please like my post and follow my google account*** -Thanks
Big R — Google review
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Service was very slow, which already left a bad impression. I ordered a mixed grill, but the food was not tasty and far from what I expected. I also ordered an orange juice, which didn’t taste good and came in a very small portion. To make things worse, when it was time to pay, they added items I never ordered or consumed, like bread and another extra. I left unsatisfied and do not recommend this place.
Thiago S — Google review
Spaghetti bolognaise - not good. Sent it back. Good atmosphere but with so much on the menu quality will be average.
Rebecca N — Google review
We ordered Hamburger from the menu. They served this without bread!!!. We asked the bread and they answered they serve this on the side of the burger. When we go for the payment they charged the bread and the fried potatoes on the plate extra. We said this is not mentioned on the menu. You need to be careful when you give order at this restaurant. They don't want to accept the payment by one by one if you are a small group. This is ridiculous.

Kus Kus

$$$$affordable
Pizza restaurant
Kus Kus is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant in North Macedonia that offers a variety of options for vegetarians. The risotto is highly recommended and can be made without cheese upon request. However, the spinach lasagna has more cheese than spinach, and the vegan burger may not be the best choice. Despite this, it's still considered a decent place for vegetarians. The food is described as very good with plenty of options, particularly delicious pizzas.
Kus Kus was a nice experience from all points of view: the service, the food, and the atmosphere. We also received a very good piece of cake on the house. I totally recommend it!
VM — Google review
To be honest, I am a bit disappointed, as we were expecting more after seeing the reviews. The waiter was welcoming and friendly; however, the quality of the food was average.
Berkay A — Google review
Food was good but the service was slow and staff were not good. You have to wave at them or they ignored you from beginning to end. You have to chased them basically. They don't look at the tables and ask you if you need anything or how is everything? At least the food was good but not a great experience. The fried aubergine and the melted cheese were so delicious.
Israël M — Google review
The food was really tasty. A lot of options for vegans or vegetarians. Good quality and available menu in many languages. The staff was pleasant and the prices are affordable. Good spot if you visit Bitola. Give it a try.
Evita ( — Google review
The food melts in your mouth, it’s so good. We had some traditional dishes and local wine, very satisfying. The service is faster than in most places and very friendly. Highly recommend!
Kari N — Google review
The first time they brought us a different dish from what we've ordered and than said that it's going to take some time for them to change it but I still kept it even though it wasn't prepared really nice. The second time I have ordered for delivery and the food came 2+ hours later even though they said at least 1 and it was cold.
Emilia K — Google review
Very tasty food and good prices. Great service

Topeno sirenje - yes. Food is great. Restrooms and service could be better.

Pub Bourbon Street

$$$$affordable
Pub
Restaurant
Pub Bourbon Street is a vibrant gem nestled in the heart of Bitola, where friendly staff greet you with warmth and hospitality. The atmosphere is lively, making it an ideal spot to kick off or wind down your night, even on a weekday. With its rustic decor and ample seating—though reservations are recommended due to its popularity—you'll find yourself surrounded by good company and great vibes.
Great food, excellent and quite place, polte crew. Recommend it 🍲👍👌
Vlatko D — Google review
Great atmosphere and have a good selection of beers. Food was at best average. We ordered platters and a lot of the components came out cold including fries. Considering what we got, over priced. But after being there, makes sense as it was only tourists not locals (tourist trap) Service not the best, waiter rude and arrogant. Was still somewhat okay until we paid the bill. On leaving the waiter decided have a laugh at our expense that we must be Australian because only Australians don’t tip. Was quite taken back and offended. Considering we are Macedonian background and up until this point have been in Macedonia for 7 weeks and not one restaraunt nor anyone we have been with has tipped. I personally would avoid, and also be recommending to my friends and family to do the same.
Andrei A — Google review
Went there based on google reviews. Nice looking place, pub style, with fine details, like famous paintings reproductions and some traditional kraft items. Mostly empty at 7:30 PM. Served right away, pleasant staff. Bit wasted, but friendly and swift. The table was poorly cleaned - it was sticky and attracting flies. Ordered two meals: Pastrmajlija, and grilled ribs. Pastrmajlija was OK, but ribs actually were three bacon strips, smelling like grilled fish - may got it from same grill. Macrdonia is famous by its grilled meat (skara), and this one was quite dissapointing. Pastrmajlija is some pizza-like meal, and it is probably hard to make it wrong, so being OK is not big plus. Music was way to loud for mostly empty space, looked like staff private party. Good if you looking for pub to have few drinks. For the food - below average. At least prices are moderate.
Mita M — Google review
Perfect places for all drinks and foods.
Oğuz B — Google review
Good good, decent prices. Great selection of beer and other liquors. Also a nice lay-out with very helpful staff. However there were a million flies bugging during the meal
Jelmer J — Google review
The atmosphere is cozy, the food is tasty and it has a lot of nice beers.
Aleksandra K — Google review
Relaxed atmosphere so sometimes you have to wait a bit. Food is good, not exceptional, just good.
Kierewiet — Google review
A rustic restaurant in center of Bitola always has people even sometimes without a reservation it's hard to find a table. there are more beers on offer from different countries, the food being the average standard menu. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Amazing food with so much to choose from. Big portion sizes, affordable prices and super friendly staff. Make sure to try their oven cooked cheese and garlic bread. 5/5!

They do not know what is ""Well cooked". I am pregnant and ı asked them to make hamburger "well cooked" , the meat was first Pink then Black. Our waiter was veryansın kind but barmen was useless

Food is absolutely delicious, manaki burger probably the best burger I've ever had anywhere. 5⭐
Nursev D — Google review
Food poisoning!! I’ve already learnt that the culinary scene in this country is horrible, but still… i’ve ordered a cold coffee which was 100% from a neacafe instant powder 3 in 1 you buy in the supermarket. Ordered a burger and not only was the meat inedible, but it was not cooked all the way through! The day after got food poisoning. Avoid this place.
רועי ת — Google review
Everything is good and awesome, but i asked for pepsi and I needed to ask 4 times to bring me one, but thats not the end because he didn’t even bring glass for the pepsi
Trajko A — Google review
I do not have any complaint about the food, which is excelent, but I will place a great disapointment about the service and time of preparing and serving the dishes. To be served with a simple fried fish and few chips as well as with two beef soups, we were waiting more than one hour. Finally when we were served, the explanation of one of the staff members was that the kitchen was very busy prepaing a big order from last night. Totally unacceptable explanation... If any of you guys reading this post and if you do not know what to do with your spare time, go visit this Longe Bar Manaki and wait for hours to be served!!!
Zarko G — Google review
The food is always top notch. I especially respect the pizza with four different types of cheese. Also there is this beer I really appreciate there. The service is usually very quick.

National Restaurant Makedonska Kukja LAKI

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
If you find yourself in Prilep, make sure to stop by National Restaurant Makedonska Kukja LAKI for an authentic taste of Macedonian cuisine. This charming eatery boasts a delightful retro ambiance that perfectly complements its traditional dishes. The staff is known for their warm hospitality and attentiveness, making your dining experience even more enjoyable. One standout dish is Shirden, a beloved local specialty that showcases the rich culinary heritage of the region.
Great tasty food, prepared in a traditional way and served in friendly retro atmosphere. Staff members are responsive and friendly. All recommendations for your visit to Prilep. Shirden is traditional meal, well known in Macedonia, especially in Prilep.

⸻ Yesterday, we had the chance to visit this place, which is widely advertised among the local population — but solely as tourists. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to eat there, and the aftertaste was very unpleasant. The blatant hostility from the staff and the eye-rolling (from an elderly man in a waiter’s uniform) completely ruined any desire to stay even for a minute. This place openly reeks of a “Soviet” attitude. The establishment is absolutely unprepared to welcome tourists! I strongly advise against visiting.
Инна М — Google review
The place is ok, but it's very hot 🥵 bad ventilation and no air conditioning. The food is good, but the service and waiters are terrible, they don't give you the option to order everything at once and they put extra dishes on the bill that you didn't order. Also, consider that it takes forever and you'll get tired of waiting...
Martin P — Google review
Don't get me wrong:my selsko meso (diced pork with onions 'n peppers) and tavče gravče (beans stew) were nice, and so was the location,a traditional looking venue with macedonian paraphernalia and genuine atmosphere. However I suspect they have a different pricelist on the english menu since I paid 240 MKD for a tiny 0.187cl bottle of Bovin winery Cabernet (4€).The same bottle costs 180 MKD at Skopje's airport duty-free shop!Again, this is just my personal idea, but the price is considerably high for MK,higher than the same in Skopje and even in Italy... my advice is to get the menu in macedonian, they have all common staple dishes found in the country anyway.Enough english spoken to get your dinner.
Alberto A — Google review
Nice place, nice music, great service...delicious but to heavy...

Really good!!! The food is fantastic and the restaurant is a typical Mazedonien! The price is also good. I can only recommend.

Ravenna

$$$$affordable
Pizza restaurant
Ravenna is a delightful destination that offers an incredible blend of history, culture, and culinary experiences. As you stroll through its charming streets, you'll find cozy restaurants perfect for savoring delicious meals while indulging in some excellent people-watching. The atmosphere is enhanced by stunning Roman architecture adorned with beautiful murals and statues that tell stories of the past. One restaurant stands out for its friendly staff who are eager to share their knowledge about the menu, including unique pizzas and fresh salads.
Very pleasant amd cozy restaurant, excellent food, positive energy during our visit, the staff are very polite, location is perfect if you want to visit this very beautiful city, so, strongly recommend it for your breakfast lunch or dinner
Roza A — Google review
Its a nice cozy restuarant with an intressting history and tragic past from world war two the food is good but the service is quite poor the waiters are lazy and wont even bring you the bill instead they will go some where random and make you wait for hours.
Jovan D — Google review
A decent place to have lunch once, but not more. Overall the food was tasty, but nothing amazing. Honestly, I didn’t like the service here.
Dima Z — Google review
Atmosphere was awesome roman architecture, murals, statues and Latin phrases such “ Sera nimis vita est crastina viva hodi” in english: "The life of tomorrow is too late; live today." ———————————— As a Mosaic that looks awesome and interesting Food was awesome and the service was top noch! Come to ravenna
Valid — Google review
Nice and local restaurant with tasty and quality food. The restaurant suggests special types of large pizzas and salad. The service was really nice and we got good recommendations by the waiter. Highly recommended for dinner.
Alon E — Google review
After waiting 1 hour on our food, we were served chicken sticks without fries! Only after the food was brought, we were told that they had no more fries! This should be mentioned at the time of ordering, not after the food is served. The pizzas taste just like frozen supermarket pizzas. The prices are not the same as on the menu; they are more expensive.. and do not match the service/quality. The only good thing is the location.
TG7000 — Google review
I'm writing this review after a recent visit to Ravenna Pizza in Bitola. While the service was passable, the food left a lot to be desired. Our server was alright. They took our order promptly and brought our drinks without much of a wait, but they didn't really check on us after that. We didn't have to flag them down for anything, but we also didn't feel particularly well-cared for. It was just... okay. The pizza, however, was terrible. Even with the decent service, the quality of the food makes it hard to recommend Ravenna Pizza. We won't be returning.
Kiki A — Google review
Great place for people watching while enjoying a good meal! Our waiter was friendly and spoke English well, he had spent time in Chicago working in a family restaurant! We were a group of 9, so we tried many dishes, and all were great. Highly recommend a seat alongside the promenade, amazing people watching!

Vino bar Bure

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Magnolia Square, Vino Bar Bure is a charming restaurant and wine bar that promises an unforgettable experience. With its cozy ambiance and delightful decor, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with friends over a glass of local wine. The menu features traditional dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds; don’t miss out on their famous Talianska salad or the delectable melted cheese dish.
Good variety of food and tasty meals. The bar is set in a heart of beautiful pedestrian area and it's perfect for a night out. But what makes this place exceptional is a service received. We were warmly welcomed by a young girl and then rest of service was done by Milan who was the nicest person ever but also very knowledgeable recommending dishes to us. Good local wine Alexandria too. 1000% recommended to everyone!
Anna R — Google review
Nice choice of wines. Gool location. Food is decent, Steak deserves 5 stars, other meals closer to 3. Overall, not bad. Stuff is kind and helpfull. Big minus for owners, hygiene outside and first impression, close to 2. (take a look at 2nd pic) Tablecloth is in unacceptable condition for a restaurant.
Dejan S — Google review
Great food and location as well! Enjoyed in the dinner 🍽️ Service was also very good.
Danijela N — Google review
i really wanted to like this place, and there are some good things about it, but there are also a lot of things that need serious improvement. First off, the staff were kind and friendly, which I appreciate. And I actually like the overall style and vibe they’re going for. But unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The food was okay, nothing special, but not bad either. The problem is how long it took to come out. We waited way too long, and when it finally arrived, we were given dirty forks, spoons, and knives. Not just smudged, dirty. That’s honestly not acceptable in any restaurant. The bathroom was just as bad. Dirty and clearly not checked or cleaned regularly. And what really bothered me was that the staff didn’t even try to hide it. No one seemed concerned about the state of the place, which makes you wonder how things are behind the scenes. This place could be good with the right care and effort, but right now, it just feels neglected. 3 stars only because of the friendly staff and potential. Otherwise, it would’ve been lower.
Mikle — Google review
Downtown restaurant & wine bar with a good selection of the Tikves brand; delicious traditional food, though some dishes were missing from the menu (sarma & a premium pork steak); good service; decent prices; free wi-fi; no parking;
Bogdan D — Google review
Ordered Chicken Fajita, there was no chicken inside, ordered Dubara chicken sticks supposed to be with chips…no chips, just the chicken and some mustard… paid for double Sopska sallad, got only for one person if you compare with other restaurants.. even the cutlery was not very clean…no more Bure for me..
Nikola T — Google review
Great choice if you want to try local wines and good food. Especially if the weather allows, it is the perfect place to sit in Magnolia Square and drink a glass of wine. But apart from the wine, everything we tasted was pretty good.
Antonis T — Google review
Inside it looks interesting but the menu had missing plates such as the calf veal. The bottle I was brought was pretty dirty. The glass had few stains too. The menu is rich but meat wise it is mostly pork and chicken.

Nestled in the heart of Bitola, North Macedonia, Belvedere is a culinary treasure that captivates visitors with its breathtaking rooftop views and warm ambiance. This restaurant features an eye-catching glass structure that allows diners to enjoy sweeping panoramas of the city while indulging in vibrant dishes crafted from fresh ingredients. Guests rave about the Macedonian salad and various grilled specialties, making it a perfect spot for those seeking traditional Balkan flavors paired with stunning scenery.
A must visit! The view is amazing (and the only kind in Bitola), the atmosphere is comfortable and romantic, and the building is well mentained. The staff is nice and friendly, the food is delicious and has a good price. Conclusion: highly recommended.

The food was excellent, very delicious and fresh. The hospitality was outstanding and the service was perfect. Everything was just great – highly recommended!
Bashkim S — Google review
TL;DR Long wait for food, did not get all the food we ordered, bland food not as described, and very grumpy service. We came in a bit early (around 8pm) and ordered. After waiting for over 30 minutes, our food was delivered. One of us ordered the Pork Kebab, which we found out was diced pork, unseasoned, grilled, and served on a plate with sparse, flavorless fries. The chicken stuffed with cheese and bacon was definitely missing the bacon and also served with flavorless, unsalted fries. We were very disappointed as the other reviews were so positive. The view was very nice, however, and the ambiance inside was alright. I do not recommend eating here when there is so much more flavourful and delicious food in Bitola.
Larry B — Google review
The staff was very kind, pleasant, and helpful. We ordered shopska salad, a grilled dish consisting of a mixture of minced meat and the delivery was very fast. The delivery was very fast and the food we ordered was excellent and delicious. This restaurant has the best view of Bitola in the well-known RoofTop style glass building. So, I recommend you to visit this place.

Shape Restaurant

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Nestled at the edge of the town center, Shape Restaurant may not boast an extravagant exterior, but it certainly delivers on flavor and value. Known for its generous portions and traditional dishes, this eatery is a favorite among locals. Diners rave about their hearty chicken soup brimming with meat and carrots, as well as refreshing salads that are perfect for warm days.
The restaurant is located near the main road. They offer traditional Macedonian cuisine. It's not expensive and it's not noisy. We ordered the Śopska salad, Caesar salad, and the Vlach burger. The food was good, and we didn't have to wait long.
Janusz S — Google review
This is at the bottom of the town center. It looks quite bland, but it is great for traditional food at cheap prices and huge portions. We had a chicken soup, a mixed salad, a pot of the house and tarator. The chicken soup was almost 2 portions, rich in meat and carrots. The tarator with good yogurt and nuts. The salad was huge and very fresh, great for hot weather. The pot had pizza dough on top and inside 3 types of meat, mushrooms, yellow cheese and a tasty sauce. The bill was very cheap. The owner very friendly, nice experience.

I was here in 2024 and was very satisfied then, this time I am totally disappointed. We ordered a rump steak 400gr. medium/rare instead we were served a well-done 250gr. Veal steak with exactly 2 potato wedges. The bill was totally overpriced for the region, I have never eaten so expensively in North Macedonia. The service was also disappointing. Never again.
Michael H — Google review
Not for FOREIGNERS! There are no prices on the menu and they charge you for everything as much as they want. Very rude waiter, explaining that the prices are like in Skopie. You'll never know what you'll pay at the and. DON'T RECOMMEND... AVOID!

This is an amazing place. We have tried lots of Shopska salads, but this one was the best se far. Besides, the Salma od zeleni and Polneti piperki were also super tasty. Amazing bread. The prices are very low, for 2 people, 2 salads, 2 drinks and 2 mains we spent only 900 den. The service is fast. And the restaurant is definitely loved by locals, because later, around 3pm we saw huge queues in front of it. Def worth to go to this town just to eat here :)

Skopje International Airport

International airport
Airport
Skopje International Airport, also known as St Paul the Apostle, is located about 7 km from the city center of Ohrid. It offers connections to various destinations such as Amsterdam, Belgrade, Brussels, Tel Aviv, Zurich, Basel and London. While most airlines operate during the summer season only, the airport remains open year-round. The airport is described as small but efficient and swift with quick passport control for non-EU passports and minimal wait times at security and immigration.
A Calm, Clean, and Lovely Airport Experience ✨ Skopje Airport truly exceeded my expectations! Even when our flight was delayed, the communication was clear and timely, which really helped reduce stress. The airport was spotless – and I have to say, the toilets smelled like a sweet forest! I was so impressed. The whole atmosphere was calm and quiet – no rushing, no impatient crowds, just peaceful energy throughout. It felt so different from most airports I’ve been to. I also loved the thoughtful little details, like the charging points for a more relaxed wait, and the duty-free shops, which had a wide selection and very friendly staff. A fantastic experience overall – well done Skopje Airport! 👏✈️💛

Small, good and nicely arranged airport. There is a good selection of restaurants, but I think they are few and the selection needs to be expanded. The customs officers could be a little more smiling, and not as if a stone had fallen on their heads. The airport is easy to finding.

Skopje’s airport is small making it a little more calm compared to major airports. Flying in from Athens on a small plane, we boarded a bus and we were standing in line for passport control in no time. There are two baggage carousels, restrooms, and a few outlets. Once you exit customs, the space is small and easy to navigate. There are taxis waiting outside.

One of the worst experiences with on ground staff in all our travelling experiences on 22/09/2025 at counter 4 at the departure hall. This person was unfriendly, rude, unhelpful & aggressive with her tone, until our family member who’s a true Skopje local, stepped in & spoke to her in the manner that she spoke to us in. She would not check in our baggage collectively as her excuse was that it’s 2 seperate bookings. Yes, but we are also 2 people travelling with 3 suitcases, with 30kgs each & a collective of 60kgs, which Turkish Airlines confirmed we can combine our luggage weight, despite being seperate bookings, as we are both travelling together, sitting together & made the purchase at the same time on the same card & at the time of purchase, it was 2 pax travelling on the same booking. She checked in my husband’s luggage but refused to check in mine, my husband was born in Skopje. So what was the problem of checking in my luggage on my booking if we can’t combine the weight? Was it because I’m not a local? She had not even asked us to place the other bags on the belt before making this decision. Despite our explanation that we were able to check in all luggage’s collectively on our way into Europe as we had the same seperate bookings as it was a return ticket that we purchased, she refused to listen to us, told us she isn’t a Turkish airline staff to deal with this, kept saying No and she just can’t do it & gave us a hard time by being unhelpful & rude. She had no name badge or lanyard on her to identify herself as a staff member. Her excuse was that she isn’t a Turkish airline staff & can’t check in our bags together because it was seperate bookings. We went to a seperate counter & the guy had no issues checking both of us in with our luggage’s collectively. We will be making an official complaint to Turkish Airline about this experience, person & how they handled this on ground process, as I’m guessing that the airport officials are either friends or family working there to take any action or take this seriously. The airport definitely needs better on ground staff with more knowledge on customer service & the tourism industry to reflect their country better.

Arriving at Skopje Airport was a wonderful experience that immediately set a positive tone for my visit. The airport was modern, well-maintained, and easy to navigate, with clear signs that made the arrival process smooth. Immigration and baggage claim were handled efficiently, and the staff were polite and welcoming. I appreciated the clean facilities and the comfortable atmosphere, which made me feel at ease after my journey. Exiting the airport was straightforward, with transport options conveniently available. My arrival at Skopje Airport left me with a great first impression of the city.

Skopje International Airport (SKP) is the largest and busiest airport in North Macedonia, located about 20 km from the capital city, Skopje. Opened in 1928, the airport was modernized in 2011 to expand its passenger capacity. Operated by TAV Airports, it serves both international and domestic airlines, offering various amenities such as duty-free shops, restaurants, a VIP lounge, and free Wi-Fi. Transportation to the city center is available via shuttle bus, taxi, or car rental, with a travel time of approximately 30–40 minutes.

The airport is impressively clean and the staff are super friendly — such a great first impression of Skopje! We were especially excited to discover that a massage studio has opened here. What a brilliant idea! The therapists are truly skilled, and the prices are surprisingly affordable — especially for an airport. Definitely a game-changer for travelers looking to relax before a flight!

Ohrid St. Paul The Apostle Airport

International airport
Airport
Ohrid St. Paul The Apostle Airport is named after the city's Christian heritage dating back to Saint Paul's time. Ohrid, known as the European Jerusalem, once had 365 churches. Some of the most famous ones include Church of St. John, St Naum Monastery, Saint Sophia Church, and Church Holy Mary Perybleptos from the 13th century. The airport is small but accommodating with pleasant staff and helpful services for travelers arriving in this historic city.
Good airport considering the size, almost enough seating for the amount of people that fit on 1 plane. The 'Gate Cafe' in the waiting area is priced well just like the duty free, the deal on Tic Tacs is amazing!! I've got enough to last me a month now 😁 staff here are friendly, and accommodating

Super tiny airport to fly into, though surprisingly not horrible. Long customs line of which we were in the back—took about 30 minutes. The room was nicely air conditioned. The worst problem was the people intentionally cutting the line.

Does what is says on the tin. Gets you from A to B. The layout is straightforward considering the size of the airport and the security are an "electronics out of the bag" type of deal. The lady at gate cafe was lovely and the prices for a tea, coffee and a bottle of water were reasonable (£4 for all). The duty free is extortionate and is the last hurdle to robbing you before you leave. DO NOT fall for their €12 for a box of massive tic tacs deal (as my partner did) as they are actually filled with lots of individual tic tacs. How we laughed.

Worst airport I have ever seen.Such a small airport..Unbelievable.On top of that the security is worst, they searched my whole bag taking everything out of it for no reason.Even the detector gave false signal when I passed through it and they scanned my body unnecessarily.Worst experience.Flight also is delayed.Avoid this airport if possible.

I have seen a lot of airports and tbh this one is a joke. Small doesn't need to be bad, but this is. long waiting, not so friendly stuff and the atmosphere gives me early 2000 indian airport vibes. I'm sorry, but this doesn't even deserve more than 1 Star. Hope they improve it soon!

Probably the worst airport I've ever been to, chaotic, no organisation, huge queue and not enough seating even for the one flight per day. Only one security line makes it very long and some people are just cutting the line. Also you cant take any public transport and the taxis charge 900 denar for a 10 minutes ride. I would rather take a flight from Skopje or Tirana, the place needs serious improvements

Parking Stuff is cheating. Invoice is 120 denars and he charges you 220 denars. I hope your coffee on my costs takes good. About Checkin for wizzair opens late but you should be there early - doesn't make any sense

The most horrible, chaotic place in the world. Srsly, I am quite the opposite of a Karen, but no one is doing their job, only one gate is operating, however they are managing two flights simultaneously. The concept of logistics doesn’t exist here.
