Coconuts

Seafood restaurant
Nestled along the Intracoastal Waterway, Coconuts is a top choice for dining in Fort Lauderdale. This restaurant offers an upscale yet casual experience with stunning views of the waterways, making it perfect for watching boats and enjoying beautiful sunsets. Known for its delectable seafood dishes like coconut shrimp and jambalaya, Coconuts also features daily specials such as scallops.
Absolutely Delicious! Had the fresh caught snapper special at the waiter's recommendation and it did not disappoint. The lobster fried rice was also amazing and full of flavor! Based on other recommendations we read on here, we tried the Scoobies as an appetizer and had the deviled eggs as the side dish and both were fantastic!! Blackberry mojito was great and the view and atmosphere were so nice as well. Our server, Saul, was very nice, attentive, knew the menu very well and make great recommendations. Definitely worth the visit!!
Sara D — Google review
We visited this restaurant twice. The first time, we sat inside and were impressed by both the food and service, definitely worthy of a full score. The second time, we sat outside. While the food was still excellent, the service was disappointing. When we asked if there was a kids’ menu, the server (the name may be spelled Zack) bluntly said no. We then asked if he could recommend something for our child, and he replied, “This is your kid. You should tell me what he eats.” We asked what were the specials of the day. He said “We are the top 2 restaurants in town. Everything is good.” I also have a personal habit of placing shells on my plate before transferring them to the bucket, but he repeatedly reminded me to throw them in directly. Though I try not to judge minor personal habits, the way he behaved was off-putting. He spoke with water visibly spraying from his mouth, all over plates, food and drinks. And every time he set something down, like plates or utensils, he would knock them against the table twice. Just rude and annoying.

Visit: September 26 – Coconuts, Fort Lauderdale Coconuts delivered everything I hoped for and more — amazing location, ocean breeze, attentive service, and food that totally hit the mark. I ordered an off menu lobster salad with papaya dressing along with a virgin piña colada. Before ordering, I asked if the salad had enough lobster to justify the $34 price tag. I was assured it did — and they *definitely* weren’t exaggerating. The salad was beautifully presented: generous chunks of tender lobster claw meat over crisp, chilled greens, hearts of palm, and grape tomatoes. The papaya dressing was a standout — sweet, tangy, and a perfect match for the lobster. A light squeeze of lemon brought all the flavors together. Refreshing and satisfying in every bite. The piña colada was creamy, sweet, and ice-cold — exactly what you want on a hot Fort Lauderdale afternoon. What really impressed me was the Service. Multiple staff members checked in throughout my meal to make sure everything was perfect. They even had fans running during the meal to keep diners cool, and at the end, brought over cold towelettes — such a thoughtful touch. I sat oceanfront with a gorgeous view of the yachts, knowing we’d soon be boarding one ourselves. The entire vibe was laid-back luxury. Coconuts ks a gem — perfect for a relaxing, flavorful meal by the water. Can’t wait to come back.
Fair E — Google review
Hotel concierge suggested Coconuts for casual waterfront dining and they were spot on! Unique to this place is their connection to the G&B Oyster Bar next door. Started with a half dozen oysters paired with a Riesling! Enjoyed a blackened swordfish steak topped with crabmeat while the wife had her fave linguini with clams. Topped it off with key lime pie and cappuccinos! Excellent end to our quick stay in Fort Lauderdale! Will be back to try other items on the menu!
Dean B — Google review
We came to Coconuts for the first time tonight and were completely satisfied and surprised by how delicious the food was. Our waitress recommended the Seafood Sofrito and Omar's Paella and both were absolutely amazing. The flavors were unbelievable. The staff were attentive and so kind. We aren't locals, but we will make a point to stop here when we are in the area and tell our friends. Go to Coconuts, you won't regret it!
Savannah E — Google review
We were in Ft. Lauderdale for 3 days and ate in this place evrry single day. The food was great and service even better. We sat at the bar first two times and outdoors last day. We will come here again. I cannot say enough gret things about this place. Its a mix of locols and tourists. Say hi to Peter at the bar. Get the Scoobies, the blackened wings and the coconut shrimp.
Sam U — Google review
We went here for dinner on a Saturday evening. It was quite crowded and we had a 40 minute wait. My husband got a drink at the bar nextdoor while we waited. After waiting we were seated with a good view of the harbor. Our waitress, Kimberly, was very attentive and very friendly. Needless to say, the food was very good and the portions were large. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
Eva E — Google review
We had a very nice early dinner right across the street from our hotel. My wife had Scoobies for the first time and thought they were worth the work. The Heirloom Tomato Salad was very good. 20251025 Two early dinners in a row. We are on the cruise ship tomorrow. The Jerk Chicken Wings were very good. The Loster Grilled Cheese was very rich and the lobster was tough. The Peanut Butter Pie was very good. The service was great especially how busy the place is.

Rustic Inn Crabhouse

Mentioned on

Seafood restaurant
Rustic Inn Crabhouse is a bustling restaurant near the airport that has been serving its signature garlic crab since 1955. Situated in Dania Beach, this canal-front eatery offers indoor and patio dining, providing a charming Old Florida atmosphere. In addition to their famous piping hot garlic crabs, the menu features locally sourced Florida favorites such as conch fritters, fried frog legs, conch salad, fried alligator, and sweet Florida stone crab during season.
Absolutely amazing place , such a wonderful experience, a huge seafood menu, our server name was Jacqueline and She was superb and very knowledgeable of the entire menu. If you like seafood, don’t pass it by… they have a beautiful patio with riverside seating and a huge dining room and a very nice bar area. I can’t stand enough wonderful things about rustic inn crab house..
Nathan G — Google review
Stuff clams are big and full of stuffing, very little pieces of clams. Flounder is a bit bland. Red potatoes in butter is good. Just a bit roo buttery. Conch fritters are the best among the 3 dishes but still nothing memorable. Conch neat is chewy. Dinning setting by the river is nice and fun though.
L L — Google review
Fun place to have dinner. Most of the crab and the fish was overcooked. The ribs were perfect! The whole experience might have been better if they had cleaned the shrimp. At those prices, no one wants poop in their shrimp.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 — Birthday Perfection at Rustic Inn Crab House My husband surprised me today for my birthday and wow — what an amazing experience! Messy and perfectly delicious! From the moment we arrived, Freddie treated us like royalty. I even got a souvenir mallet to take home (best birthday favor ever 😂). The vibe is mega casual, unpretentious, and down-to-earth — exactly the kind of hidden gem you want yo visit again and again. And the food… my goodness, the food! Fresh, delicious, and seasoned to absolute perfection. We had the crab sampler and devoured every last bite. And as if that wasn’t enough, stone crab season is back — and they’re perfect! We washed everything down with a couple of beers and then the entire restaurant broke into the Happy Birthday song. Ended the night with what can only be described as a slice of heaven, aka their key lime pie. A lovely, memorable evening. Rustic Inn is a whole vibe — 10/10 recommend!
Kyra D — Google review
Amazing food! We had grilled shrimp w/ yellow rice and also 3 crab samplers. The great water scenery is soothing; watch boats sail by. It was raining plenty, so, diners seated on the deck were safe from rain, so kudos to amazing staff they were super fast to keep diners dry! They pulled these plastic blinds down to keep rain out! I'm definitely getting lobster next visit also scallops.
Dru D — Google review
I’ve never had crabs but this place made me want them! If Rustic Inn Crabhouse were to be described using one adjective, I would use the word… RUSTIC. I really like this place. The server was amazing. I was so enthusiastic about all of the birthday well wishes that I almost lied and said it was mine so someone would pretend I’m a cute little lobster and hammer me while yelling happy birthday!
Liam L — Google review
Our 3rd visit here, we have had a great experience everytime .we come here every year now when we come to Hollywood Florida . This was our 35th wedding anniversary dinner.. our waitress was excellent the food was off the chart , we had great views eating outside next to the water.. we will definitely be going back.. one of our favorite restaurants now..
Pat B — Google review
crab was amazing. The potatoes could have been better and it would have been nice to get some corn or other sides with the meal for the price. But overall, the queen crab was delicious and I would highly recommend this place. I also got a few cocktails that were really good. That atmosphere was fun and lively.

Lona Cocina Tequileria

Mentioned on

Mexican restaurant
Lona Cocina Tequileria is a renowned Mexican restaurant located in Fort Lauderdale, offering a modern twist on traditional Mexican cuisine. The restaurant, led by chef Pablo Salas, presents an array of lunch, dinner, and happy hour options that reflect authentic Mexican flavors with a contemporary touch. Situated across from Fort Lauderdale Beach, Lona provides breathtaking ocean views and a chic atmosphere for patrons to enjoy their meals.
Had a mediocre dinner here a year ago but decided to give it another try for lunch. They didn’t have frozen drinks today although they were advertised on the menu so that was weird. However lunch (tacos) and chicken quesadillas and sangria and drinks were very good. The view is spectacular! Well worth the second try and quite affordable for a prime beach location.
Thomas S — Google review
First time in this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. They have great reviews so me and my husband decided to visit for some appetizers and drinks. My husband had some beers and I tried the Tamarita and Pasión Picante Margaritas. My favorite was the Tamarita with tamarindo and don Julio reposado tequila. So delicious!! If you really love something spicy go for the other one. As appetizers we decided to try the yellow corn esquites and traditional guacamole. They were very tasty!!!! One of the best guacamole we have ever tried. The only thing we have to say about this place is that the service was not very good. Our server was not very friendly. But definitely we will be back!!!
Vanessa L — Google review
We ate dinner here twice. The food was fine, nothing special... except the steak and Fritas. Did I say we ate here twice? Because the steak was the reason why. It was to die for. Staff was friendly and attentive, though we got something we didn't order and had two sides which were implied to be included but were charged. But yeah, I'd go back just for the steak.
John K — Google review
Lona Cocina Tequileria delivers moderately priced, moderately tasty food with a fantastic oceanfront view—the view being, without a doubt, the highlight of the experience. The service was excellent, and I really enjoyed the smoky salsa—it stood out more than the main dishes. I had the Baja fish tacos, which were good, but nothing to write home about. Overall, it’s a solid spot for a casual meal by the beach without breaking the bank. Just don’t come expecting to be blown away by the food. Come for the view, stay for the vibes.
Brad K — Google review
Lona Cocina Tequileria in Fort Lauderdale is a sweet spot right on the beach with a fun, lively vibe. The Mexican food is fresh, with fajitas, guacamole, and margaritas that really stand out. We tried their Dine Out Lauderdale menu and it comes with a complimentary Lona Margarita. The ocean views add to the whole experience. Service was excellent too. Instagram - @thesofloduo

Beach patio has gorgeous views but the live dj plays music that is exceedingly loud!!! Dining inside isnt as beachy but its much quieter and the decor is well done. Came for the endless brunch and cocktail which is a buffet/fixed menu. The food is awesome. No complaints about the food. The decor is nicely done and enjoyable. My main critique is the service: overall the servers (there were 2), were great, friendly and present. My disappointment was when I requested tequila for the Bloody Mary (bloody maria). Without pleasantries and without asking the bartender, the server plainly said NO. And I was surprised because the menu consisted of endless margaritas (tequila!!!) and bloody Mary's. Did it really truly matter whether the tequila was used for a margarita or a bloody mary?!?! Its just odd that I was not allowed to get the drink and equally odd that the server didnt put on a happy face and "ask the bartender". Will I go back? Sure. And yes id recommend Lona to others. Just hope service picks up because this is truly odd. Ft Lauderdale has plenty of dining options who gladly make bloody Marias for the same/equal value of a bloody mary.

Here’s a shorter, more casual version with your update: ⸻ I come here every time I’m in Fort Lauderdale. The lobster burrito and a margarita can’t go wrong. Fair price for good food!! Nice outdoor seating, super pet-friendly, and right by the beach. Service isn’t fast, but it’s friendly and helpful. Lunch is more relaxed while dinner gets livelier. Always a solid choice.
Gabriela M — Google review
I went to Lona’s for tans has the lobster quesadilla. it was so good I’m still thinking about it days laters. went back at night for the tequila flights that a friend was raving over and that did not disappoint either. best part is the views of the beach across the street. Service could’ve been better but other than that everything else was good.

MAI-KAI Restaurant and Polynesian Show

Mentioned on

Polynesian restaurant
Mai-Kai Restaurant and Polynesian Show is a vibrant local landmark that has been drawing in crowds since 1956. The restaurant offers a lively atmosphere with tiki bars, traditional Polynesian performances, and colorful South Seas cuisine. Guests can enjoy exotic dishes and tropical drinks from an award-winning menu while being entertained by agile warriors and beautiful maidens performing native dances from the South Pacific.
You should go. I had the duck salad and it was very good. They had GF next to gluten free meals so it was easy for me to select and there were several options. Entertainers were so talented, dancers musicians and MC, they all did a fabulous job. Wait staff was attentive and I loved the valet. It was $8 and you don’t have an option but it made it easy to get in and out. It’s an event not just going out to dinner. So enjoy it for what it is. We are lucky to have them “back” in Fort Lauderdale. Well done everyone.
Michelle A — Google review
Sept 2025 Visited for the first time to celebrate my friend's birthday. The food and show were great, however...... imagine spending the time to go down the long list of tables, you look at the map, you choose the perfect $28 table, then you get there and they put you at the wrong table $23 - way in the back! I addressed it with a hostess and she looked and found my reservation which clearly shows the table that I paid for. However they had a large party already seated at the table I reserved (they joined two tables together), so they offered to seat us at a more expensive table and we would have to pay the difference - no, I want the table I paid for. So the hostess asked the people at the neighboring table to move. We still were not seated at the table we paid for (that had a clear view of the stage) instead we were seated at a table with an obstructed view - and the table they moved the others from was not cleaned before we were seated. What's the point of having the guests reserve a table if you're going to seat them wherever you want? The back and forth about the table started our experience off terribly, then to be stuck behind a pole - ugh! The hostess offered to comp a dessert for us but she instead comped a cheaper item that we ordered (they just can't seem to get it right). The food was all very good - would return for the food. Our server, Andre, was very attentive. The tables are very close together, so be prepared to have butts in your face. Now that I've seen the show (very good), I would return just for the food and be seated in a separate area - hopefully that seating isn't cramped. They include an 18% tip on your bill - there were 3 of us at the table. Parking is valet only for $8. The entrance is at the front of the restaurant on US1, but the driveway is hard to find and looks like a walkway (they should add an entrance sign). I should've known the service was going to be questionable when I pulled up to the valet and none of the five guys approached my car to open the door. Four of them were sitting on the curb on their phones while one was standing. I got out of my car and the one standing walked away from me towards one who was sitting to give him the ticket to give to me, but the guy he approached was so caught up in his phone that he didn't even see the guy handing him the ticket. By this time, I was already standing next to him so he just handed the ticket to me. Every restaurant I've ever gone to that offers valet, the valet approaches your door, at minimum, and opens it for you. For $8 to valet, they need to step up the service. For that service, I could've parked my own car.

I hadn’t been to Mai-Kai in years, and this was my first visit since they reopened — it did not disappoint! The show was absolutely amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was beautiful. The service was also excellent; everyone was so attentive and welcoming. I went for my 37th birthday with family and friends, and we all had a wonderful time. My 5-year-old son especially loved the show, exploring the garden, and his favorite part — the volcano dessert! It was such a fun and memorable experience overall. So happy to see this iconic place back and better than ever! 🌺✨
Lilia L — Google review
Our server was very attentive and very helpful when it came to deciding on what to eat. I was a bit nervous since some of the reviews said that the price to food ratio was off. Although the appetizers were a bit lack luster, the size was small and the temperature was more on the cooler side. The entrees were fantastic flavor and portion wise. I am very happy with the food service and show provided. The restaurant is unique with its theme and surprisingly very educational with the show.
Juan C — Google review
We had an amazing dinner at Mai-Kai! The atmosphere is truly one-of-a-kind — lush, tropical, and full of classic Polynesian charm. The food was excellent, full of flavor and beautifully presented, and our server Sam made the evening even better. Although we didn’t stay for the show this time, the dining experience alone was well worth the visit. A perfect spot for a memorable night out and a hint of Halloween charm. 🌺🍹✨
Bob R — Google review
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This is hands down THE BEST tiki restaurant and bar in the US. You’ll do yourself a disservice if you don’t order the tuna crispy rice and the gyoza. Yum! The staff makes the experience a 6 out of 5. Hannah, Rachel, and Chelsea served us at the bar and had the best recommendations for cocktails! Autumn and Gilbert were both incredible and attentive servers! We’ve been back 3 times already and don’t intend to slow down.
KC — Google review
I had such an amazing time at the MAI-KAI Restaurant and Polynesian Show! I absolutely loved everything about it. The show was incredible, they brought the true spirit of the Polynesian islands to life through traditional dance, music, and fire performances. My favorite parts were definitely the Haka and the Hula. Honestly, the show was so entertaining that it completely stole the spotlight, but the food was also great. I ordered the shrimp noodles and they were delicious! The drinks are on the sweeter side, which I personally love, and they fit perfectly with the tropical vibe. The entire staff was super friendly and welcoming. We were served by Agatha, and she was simply perfect, attentive, kind, and made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a fun and unique night out, this is the place to go.

I came here for my birthday celebration. The atmosphere was great, service was great. Our waitress was Lucy, she was wonderful. the food was pretty good. The show is the best part. A bit overpriced for the food portions in my opinion. Overall great experience!

Restaurant
Steak 954 is a contemporary steakhouse located at the W Hotel, offering stunning ocean views and a trendy atmosphere. The restaurant features an exotic decor and serves creative dishes that are perfect for special occasions. Their sizzling new brunch menu includes raw bar favorites, Wagyu beef selections, and weekend-only delights like king crab-crowned avocado toast and lobster with shrimp and grits in brandy lobster cream sauce.
Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! This place not only met but far exceeded our expectations. The food was nothing short of outstanding—every bite was a delight—and the views are simply breathtaking, whether you're dining indoors or out. But what truly set this experience apart was the service. We regularly dine at Michelin-starred restaurants, and I can confidently say the service here ranks among the best we've ever had. Kevin (Vinny) was exceptional—genuinely warm, incredibly attentive, and impressively knowledgeable. His recommendations were spot-on, and he struck the perfect balance between engaging conversation and seamless service. He made us feel like the most important guests in the room—and I have no doubt every table feels the same under his care. We left feeling completely taken care of and thoroughly impressed. This will absolutely be a must-visit every time we're in Fort Lauderdale!

Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. With its ocean views, elegant atmosphere, and top-quality food, Steak 954 is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

🥩 Steak 954 – Brunch, Beach Views & Effortless Luxury If you’re looking to take a quiet moment for yourself or enjoy a beautiful brunch with family, Steak 954 is the place to be. From the moment you arrive, the experience feels seamless — valet your car right at the W Fort Lauderdale, and remember to hand them your dining ticket at the end for validation. Parking usually runs around $30, but dining guests enjoy the reduced rate of about $15 — a nice touch that makes the whole experience even smoother. The service is fantastic from start to finish — warm greetings, attentive timing, and a team that truly understands hospitality. One of my favorite details is the stunning jellyfish tank as you enter; it’s always a moment that sets the tone. I arrived early for brunch, which was perfect — peaceful, bright, and relaxed. I love sitting outside, especially at the smaller tables facing the ocean. It’s ideal whether you’re dining solo, meeting a friend, or just taking in the view with a glass of bubbles. Reservations are easy through OpenTable, or you can have the hotel concierge assist if you’re staying at the W. I’ve always found the staff responsive and accommodating when I make special requests. Food-wise, it never disappoints. The steak and eggs are a must — perfectly cooked, with crispy potatoes and great presentation. And for dessert, the chocolate ganache cake is pure indulgence, even at brunch. The restaurant sits just next to El Vez, so you’ll still feel part of that lively beachfront energy — but tucked in your own calm corner. It’s elegant without being pretentious, coastal without being cliché. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Consistent, elegant, and welcoming. Whether you’re a local or visiting, Steak 954 delivers Fort Lauderdale brunch at its best.

I visited this restaurant on my birthday (9.19) and the experience was absolutely incredible! When we first arrived and saw the beautiful ambiance and atmosphere, to being seated immediately by a very welcoming staff. Everything we ordered was delicious! Usually my husband is a big critic on food because he previously worked in kitchens, but even he was left SPEECHLESS. Not one complaint about anything! Our waiter went above and beyond with memorable customer service. At the end he even bought me out a deliciously moist red velvet cupcake with velvety cream cheese icing that had a candle that he lit at the table side and said HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I truly felt like a queen for a night. The cupcake actually made me cry because it was just like my wedding cake and my husband and I were just taking a trip down memory lane about how long we’ve been together. Thank you Steak 954 for an unforgettable birthday ❤️

We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary here and we couldn’t have been happier with our meal. Our service was fantastic from the moment we stepped foot in the door. The staff said happy anniversary to us while walking to our table. Our server was hands-down, one of the best. From the espresso martini, to the bread and the fillet and the dessert that was brought to us for our anniversary. It was absolutely delicious and one of the best meals that we had while on vacation.

Really wanted to have a good steak. It was very tough. At 75$+ for a steak I would expect the most tender steaks. Very disappointed. Spent over 600$ for dinner here and sad. But it is what it is

Good quality steak, but burned/bitter taste at the coat. Main server was nice, but some others just slam dishes on our table and didn’t really even look at us when we say “thank you”. I do expect more at this price.

Gabose Korean BBQ

Mentioned on

Korean restaurant
Gabose Korean BBQ in Lauderhill offers a comfortable space with an extensive menu of classic Korean dishes and the unique experience of do-it-yourself tableside charcoal grills. It's considered the best place in South Florida for this interactive dining experience, making it a popular spot with wait times that can exceed an hour on weekends. While reservations aren't accepted, diners have the option to sit at non-grill tables where the staff will cook for them in the kitchen.
Gabose Korean BBQ in Lauderhill is an absolute gem! As a first-timer to Korean BBQ, I was a little unsure what to expect, but the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, guiding me through the menu and even showing me how to best enjoy the delicious food. And the food... wow! The quality of the meat was outstanding, and the variety of banchan (side dishes) was impressive and so flavorful. Cooking at the table was such a fun and interactive experience, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. I left Gabose feeling completely satisfied and already planning my next visit. This place is perfect for anyone looking to try authentic Korean BBQ, whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete newbie like I was. I'll definitely be back!

My brother brought me here during my visit and wow, the food is great! I loved all the different meats we had from the spicy chicken to the steaks and the pork. The dumpling soup was great and I also loved the spinach pancake thing. Cooking the food does take awhile when you have 4 people to feed, but it’s a fun concept. There are zero complaints about how the food tasted! However, the service is truly AWFUL. I wouldn’t go back because of the service alone. We were not checked on, waters not refilled and I even got up to find someone and still they didn’t send anyone! We needed napkins, a fork, waters refilled, etc. We finally grabbed a random person setting up a table to help us. We were never checked on til it was time for the bill!! Truly unacceptable.

I have been looking for some traditional Korean food in Florida. Was so happy to finally find it here. I used to spend 1 or 2 months in Korea a year and came to love Korean food. We had a variety of traditional dishes. They were all great. The Deaji Bulgogi, and the beef Bulgogi were very good. My wife had the chicken bibimbop and she liked it.

This is out favorite korean restaurant on our trips to Fort Lauderdale. All the food is amazing! Our favorites are the bulgogi and the spicy meats for bbq. The place is really nice and the bbqs are heated with hot charcoal. Service could be a bit better though. Really recommended!

First time visiting with my daughter, I was pleased with everything from the service to the food. A 14yr girl can be quite judging lol but she found this place to be amazing, she had smiles from ear to ear from everything we tried. Will be coming back.
Julie R — Google review
Everything was expensive, the steamed egg is $8.95 each and they put much more water in side which is bad taste. I haven’t eat here for over 5 years and I’m taking my friends here for the first meal in Florida, but this time was disappointed us. We have four big guys but even a small request for extra soybean sauce was declined, so it’s probably too much to expect a side of kimchi. And they give us really small size of the meat but charge more than $35 per dish. Everything was changed in the past 6 years and it’s OK you rise the price up, but you can’t add $10 more for each meat dish and give the same or less meat!!! And for the seafood pancake, there is hill lot of scallions and real less seafood, I did not even see A shrimp in the “Seafood Pancake”. This restaurant was my favorite restaurant in Florida, but now is no longer on my favorite list. One of my big friend ate 3 bowl of rice with the steamed egg. Because the meat was so less that he does not want to order more. At the end we still had more than $250 for four guys. We ordered more than what we think we will have but the fact is we are still not feeling full and we are so disappointed for this restaurant. Think about it and make your decision to get food here or not.

The food at Gabose was absolutely delicious — full of authentic Korean flavors that reminded me of being in Seoul! 🥢 The meats were tender, well-marinated, and grilled to perfection. Side dishes were fresh and plentiful. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal, making the experience even better. The atmosphere felt authentic and cozy, perfect for a night out with friends or family. It is a little on the pricey side, but the quality and authenticity make it worth the splurge. Definitely one of the best spots for real Korean BBQ in town! 🇰🇷🔥

El Guanaco Taqueria Y Antojitos is a great Mexican restaurant with Salvadoran cuisine. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. The service is wonderful, and they have great specials on Cinco de Mayo.
Hadn’t been here in years and it’s still as good as the first time. I love this place. From the friendly servers to the beautiful outside patio. Their margaritas are some of the best. Tacos phenomenal, all the sauces are house made. Tortillas made from scratch. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. It’s a must whenever I’m in south Florida.

Delicious Mexican Food. Their burrito was average in size but packed full of flavor. I was surprised by the freshness or their tortilla chips, but their hot salsa stole the show as it was truly fresh & super flavorful. The Guacamole was probably equal to their salsa. I left here full and very happy.

My drink was passion fruit mojitos, it was good but I have had better. Food was amazing! 10 out of 10! It was fresh, hot and tasty! I had the chicken shrimp steak fajitas and my son had the Bria tacos. We also had the Mexican corn! Everything was delicious! But what was even better were the prices!! alcoholic drinks, soda, appetizers, 2 dinner plates and tip we didn’t even pay 60 dollars! Super low key an cute spot!

Thai restaurant
Larb Thai-Isan is a cozy eatery in Fort Lauderdale that serves up authentic Northeastern Thai cuisine. Despite being a hidden gem, the secret's out, and now it's the go-to spot for flavorful dishes like pad kee mao noodles, duck curry, khao soi, larb, and som tum.
This Thai restaurant has a Michelin Guide recommendation, so we decided to give it a try. There are no table reservations, and we had to wait in line for about an hour and a half along with many other curious visitors. Inside it is very small and quite noisy. The food itself was tasty and of good quality, but honestly, there are at least a dozen similar restaurants in the area offering dishes that are just as good, with prices about the same. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, but next time we’ll probably order delivery instead of dining in. And one more note — if the menu says a dish is spicy, it really is spicy! 🌶️

Worth the hype!! This place was absolutely amazing. So we came here out a recommendation from a coworker. Apparently is a Michelin star restaurant and recently getting popularity on social media. This spot is legit and very authentic. It is small and as popularity increases be prepared to wait. Restaurant itself is not too big and is a very casual ambiance. We went on a week day for dinner and waited about 15-20 min for a table. Menu is very authentic so you won’t find anything for picky eaters. We first started with an order of moo ping which were absolutely delicious! They are pork kebabs and the meat was so tender, flavorful and juicy. 10/10 Then we order 2 main dishes. First the crab fried rice which is one of the safest dishes if you don’t know what to order. This plate was fantastic. It had so much crab and egg. It didn’t have the expected Asian fried rice flavor , but its own unique flavor. I would order this every time. 10/10 We also order the duck curry which surprisingly was not spicy and was actually on the sweeter side. The curry has pineapple and grapes which personally I’m not a fan but my husband absolutely love the sauce. The duck was still crispy and was so tender and flavorful. He said he would have this again. For dessert we had the mango sticky rice which I had previously and I wasn’t a fan but somehow I found this one absolutely delicious. Overall we love our visit and I look forward to be back and try some other things.

This authentic Thai restaurant was packed with a long wait when we arrived — and for good reason. The food was **outstanding**: truly authentic, flavorful, and surprisingly affordable. Service was fast and efficient, with dishes arriving quickly despite the crowd. As someone born in Thailand who’s visited often — and lived in the U.S. for 50 years — I know real Thai food when I taste it. This is hands-down the **best Thai restaurant I’ve found in South Florida**. They offer rare dishes I’ve only seen in Thailand, many with strong **Northern and Laotian influences** you won’t find on typical menus. The staff are all Thai, the menu uses **proper Thai pronunciation**, and the flavors transport you straight to the source. Unless you’re heading to California’s Asian districts, Vancouver, or Thailand itself, **this is as close as it gets**. I’ll definitely be back.

This place was so amazing! The food was so fresh and the atmosphere was fun and felt like a place to hang and chat but not super loud. The papaya salad was to die for and the mango sticky rice was one of the best I’ve ever had. The wait staff was so so kind, I can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes. Delicious! Everything we tried was a 10/10

Came here for my birthday! I ordered the pineapple fried rice and a thai iced tea. Both were so delicious. My boyfriend ordered a noodle soup. We also ordered some of the beef jerky and it was so crisp and juicy. The owner made me a personal special dessert for my birthday and it really was the cherry on top to a fantastic experience. The dessert was so good! The staff was so nice and they sang me happy birthday. Strongly recommend this place for their food and amazing service!

This is one of the best places to eat in Pompano Beach. Heck, this is one of the best places to eat in South Florida! First of all, this place gets full and there's usually a short to medium wait to get a table - call them in advance if time is an issue. Once you're on your table, though, it's a culinary dream. There's your expected Thai fare: Pad Thai, drunken noodles, boat noodles, soups... And curry! All of them excellent. Service is great and surprisingly quick. It ain't fast food, but your main course may be ready before the appetizers. There's outdoor and indoor table seating, either is good, but the former is more exposed to the wind and the occasional annoying insects. Be mindful. Oh, and this place is Michelin rated. That should speak of its quality. This really is a must-try if you have any interest in Thai food - and if you don't, it will make you a fan.

My wife and I went here for the first time last night and all of the reviews I've seen online were spot on. We went on a Thursday date night, there was a wait only about 10 minutes. The waitress we had very knowledgeable about the food and suggested her favorites. I had a delicious thai tea that my wife ended up drinking most of. We ordered spring rolls with a tasty plum sauce and Kai Yang which is a grilled half chicken. For our mains I got Kra Pao with ground chicken over rice with a fried egg. My wife got Pad Kee Mao with beef stir fried noodles. All of our food was very fresh and came out hot almost to hot to eat which was nice. Will definitely be adding this spot into our date night rotation.

Well ladies and gentleman we have a winner in the authentic category. Welcome to Larb, from the indoor/outdoor option seating to the colorful hammered tins that decorate the space. The one word used for this spot would be: Cozy. The music, smells and sounds will drive you wild with desires so come hungry. Net (out server) was just as warm as the dishes and extremely knowledgeable explaining the history of our eatery. Her attitude reminds you of the warmth and humanity when one cares about cuisine. Colorful hotpot stacks with vibrant plated colors. Spring rolls, giant chicken wings, Tom Kha Soup, Chicken Kra Pao and we finished with the rice pudding. Get the Thai beer and stay for a while. We did. We will be back for dinner. Yummy.

Lots of food from several different countries. Heavy Caribbean vibes. Plenty of local shops with a plethora of goods. At least half is in an indoor type structure with fans. The outside has plenty of shade breaks. 100% pet friendly. They even have dog water bowls spread through for your furry friends. The parking is $10 all day no exceptions. They do provide a free shuttle that runs throughout the day to and from the parking lot.

Every time family and friends visit, I take them here for exotic fruits, food (lunch), and entertainment. We all love it here. I love buying the groceries here. It's good to.come early Saturday cause you the best of everything otherwise they tend to run out or get low on products by Sunday. It's worth the hike and visit. Parking is getting a little ridiculous, it's $15 a vehicle (Aug 2025). It used to be free.
Evan W — Google review
The Hollywood Farmers Market is a great place to spend a Saturday or Sunday with friends and family. The vendors, food options, and overall atmosphere make it a local favorite. However, I’d like to bring attention to the ongoing parking challenges. The current rate of $15 for the first hour and $3 for each additional hour is already steep for a farmers market. But what’s more concerning is the lack of proper drainage especially during rainy days, when the parking lot near the main building becomes severely flooded. This makes it nearly impossible to access the entrance safely or comfortably. Charging such high parking fees while providing unsafe and inaccessible conditions is not only frustrating , it’s unacceptable. It negatively impacts the customer experience and can discourage repeat visits, particularly for families with small children, elderly patrons, or individuals with mobility challenges. I strongly recommend that management reevaluate these parking prices and implement changes , including waiving fees entirely on rainy days when conditions are compromised. At the very least, some form of accommodation or discount should be offered when access is severely affected. 1 STAR FOR PARKING FEES!!!

This was a fun place. We went on weekend. They had live music under the pavilions where u ate. They had every nationality serving food. Buy 1 of different vendors to sample foods you haven't tried. Tons of beach dresses, healthy alternative but the produce was expensive. It was perfect and they had everything just pricy. A fun afternoon.

Shame on the Market Administration Let’s be clear: this review is not for the hardworking vendors. They’re the heart of the market, kind, passionate, and worth supporting. But the administration and management? A total disgrace. Parking is an outrageous $15 flat fee, but here’s the scam: it increases by $3 per hour. For a dirt lot that floods when it rains, has no cover, no security, and zero justification for such pricing, it’s outright highway robbery. This isn't a downtown garage or a valet service it's literally DIRT And let’s be honest: no one spends a full day at a farmers market. Parking should be HOURLY and fair, not a trap. This is supposed to be a farmers market a place for locals to connect with growers and makers. Instead, it feels more like a pop-up food court surrounded by overpriced juice stalls. Only a handful of vendors actually sell fresh goods. The vibe? Exploitative. The goal? Profit over people. The administration should be ashamed for turning a community space into a cash grab. DO BETTER. — A fed-up LOCAL RESIDENT OF HOLLYWOOD

Nestled in Oakland Park, just a short drive from Fort Lauderdale, Nour Thai Kitchen is a hidden gem that elevates the dining experience with its authentic Isan cuisine. This charming eatery offers an array of bold and vibrant flavors that transport your taste buds straight to Thailand's northeastern region. The menu features generous portions of dishes accompanied by delightful purple sticky rice, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients.
This is in my opinion the BEST restaurant in south Florida!! From the décor to the atmosphere to the cocktails to the food and the service; just all a perfect 10/10!!! I came here for the first time a few weeks ago with my bestie on her suggestion. I was skeptical because I LIVE for Thai food and I have not had decent Thai since I moved from NYC 7 years ago. But this spot changed my life!! From the first bite I knew I was in for a ride. So I brought my family back from dinner last night and this spot just keeps blowing me away. My mom is very picky and has never had Thai food and same with my cousin. My sister and I love it so I knew she’d be down for the food. But lo and behold my cousin and my mom loved every bite! Our server was Jenny and let me tell you that baddie is everything! Jenny met us at the door and had our reservation all set and ready to go. Jenny was also our server and just had the most beautiful energy, a sweet dispostion and gave great suggestions on cocktails and food and showed everyone had to use the iPad menu so there was no confusion. Weston was helping Jenny and always made sure we had everything we needed at all times. We felt like queens the entire time we were there because of the attentiveness of the staff. The atmosphere is chill and the art and murals on the walls are so pretty. My sister and mom even said how much they loved the plating, silverware, and glassware that they used. Our server Jenny informed us that the owners are from Thailand and they go back every year and always come back with new things for the restaurant. And it shows! Now to the food. I honestly can’t say enough good things about the food! I love spicy food that is full of flavor and this place does not miss! Do not walk run to this place if you want authentic northern Thai food. Honestly this place should have a much higher rating. I wish I could give it more stars. ⭐️

Outstanding! Food outstanding! Decor outstanding! Service from our server, Robert, outstanding! Creative food choices and attention to detail in our food all outstanding! Our server took time to explain and recommend menu choices, he was descriptive and encouraging… as an example we ordered our food and he brought a platter of sauces to sample and explained that one of them “deserved respect.” He was accurate and provided the necessary guidance so we did not destroy our food. We ordered GUI Chai Dumplings to start and they were likely the best I have ever had surpassing the amazing soup dumplings from china town I had several years ago. They were fresh and Robert, our server explained how best to eat them which was helpful. Our lunches came with soup or salad both with complex and well spiced flavors. We had a soup and a salad which was a smaller version of their papaya salad. The dressing was sweet and spicy and fresh. My garlic chicken dish appeared with purple rice which our friend from Thailand used to make and a pleasant surprise. We also ordered the basil fried rice which was delicious and fresh as well. We were about to leave when we were “tempted” to have desert which were Thai donuts and they were like wispy, crispy clouds with a custard dipping sauce that was the icing on the cake of this most delicious and delightful lunch. Everything deserved a star. We already recommended Nour Thai Kitchen to friends and we will return. Thank you.

Oakland Park has transformed into a hipster spot where this restaurant is located. Right next to Funky Buddha brewery. The chef/owner is from Thailand. Brought my mom who is from Udon Thani Thailand and we both were amazed in the quality and care put into the place and food.. You can tell that everything is made fresh from scratch. Definitely on the higher end of pricing, but very worth it and it shows in the atmosphere and plating. Don't pass up on this place and I definitely would recommend it. Everyone there is super friendly and knowledgeable. The digital menus on touch pads, wow!!!! They went all out and it's worth it!!!!

The quaint ambiance of Nour was restoring. The service was personable and seamless. The cuisine unlocked endorphins and oxytocin, the flavors were explosively delicious. Biggest thank you to the staff! One of the best food and service experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you Bethany for accommodating my dietary restrictions without making me feel like a burden, you went above and beyond, for that, I appreciate you! The food was a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, salty, and sour. All the dishes were incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. The duck was so succulent! Crispy skin, juicy meat, and bursting with bold Thai spices, just amazing . The Thai doughnuts were decadent; crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and drizzled with sweet condensed/coconut milk. Will definitely be recommending and revisiting when I’m in town!

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, offers amenities such as free WiFi and a cell phone waiting lot. Visitors can also enjoy watching planes take off and land from designated observation areas. The airport provides convenient services for travelers while being situated in a city known for its extensive canal system and vibrant urban area with various entertainment options.
Large and modern airport facility with minimal waiting times for security checkpoint. Airport facilities are clean, there is a nice aviation exhibit in the terminal 3/4 connection way, and an overall large selection of dining and fast food restaurants.

This airport is honestly fine. I came from Cancun to this airport as a stop over to get to Baltimore. The customs process was super long. The workers were moderately nice though. Getting our bags took a while as well so even though we had an hour and 45 minute layover, by the time we got to the gate, we were already boarding. There’s a great selection of food Here and regular shops. It would be nice to arrive early and be able to hang out. I love the area with different pieces of art from people that work at the airport. That was a super unique touch and I like how it was celebrating different skills of the workers there.

Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport is a modern and fairly well-organized airport. Conveniently located near Miami, it serves as a good alternative to the larger hub. Security checks are usually quick, and the selection of restaurants and shops is decent. The airport is clean, signage is clear, and getting around is easy, making travel smooth and comfortable.

I say everyone should check out this airport at least once in their life. It is clean, not too crowded, big, and has all the amenities you need. It even has an indoor 'bus', which is actually a booth where people have these cool cards! Yeah, it would be nice if this airport could get a people mover, though. But still, it was a great experience.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is a surprisingly smooth and convenient hub for travel. The terminals are clean, modern, and easy to navigate, with clear signage that makes getting to your gate effortless. One of my favorite things? The Global Entry lines are always empty—making exit and re-entry a breeze and saving so much time. Security moves efficiently, staff are helpful, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options to keep you comfortable while waiting. FLL feels well-organized and traveler-friendly—a great start or end to any trip.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is a busy and well-structured airport, offering good signage and organization that makes it easy to navigate. The terminals are modern, with a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, giving passengers plenty of options while waiting for their flights. Security and boarding processes are generally efficient, though lines can get long during peak hours. The airport’s location is also a plus, being close to both Fort Lauderdale and Miami, which makes it a practical choice for travelers. Overall, it’s a well-equipped airport that provides a smooth travel experience.

I flew into here instead of MIA from Sao Paulo. The airport offered an easier way to get home to Sarasota with simple routing to 595 and then 75. The Rental Car Center was in the airport so I did not need to walk 1/2 mile like in MIA only to board a train. It was less crowded and immigration was a snap.

FLL (Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport) is a good choice if you're flying in or out of South Florida and want to avoid the chaos of some of the bigger hubs. One thing I really appreciate is how the Red Coach buses stop right between Terminals 1 and 2 -- super convenient if you're heading to other parts of the state. The airport itself strikes a nice balance: not too big, not too crowded. It's easy to navigate, security lines tend to move fairly quickly, and the layout is straightforward. Compared to other Florida airports like Orlando (MCO), Miami (MIA), Jacksonville (JAX), and Tampa (TPA), FLL comes out ahead in my book, especially in terms of ease of use and general comfort. That said, it's not extraordinary. Food options are decent but nothing to rave about, and the terminals could use a bit more seating in the gate areas. Still, it's a solid international airport that gets the job done efficiently, with a laid-back Florida vibe. Would probably fly through here again.

South Beach is renowned for its vibrant beaches, art-deco architecture, nightlife, and diverse dining options. It's highly walkable, making it convenient for travelers without cars. Miami boasts a thriving financial district and entrepreneurial culture.
I just love this airport and Miami as a whole. I've visited and passed through this airport for years but this time was a little bit more special. I flew in from upstate and caught my connecting flight to my final vacation destination about a week ago. My connecting gate was D40 and right in the middle wre drums, dancing and fellowship! I made the comment, "This is so Miami!" and happened to be standing next to one of the curators of the event. It was very welcoming and enjoyable to watch! I love it!

Miami International Airport is huge. It is made for fearless travelers. It is not for the timid. Its massive size and congested layout can be daunting. Luckily it is easy to find your numbered terminals and gates. I did not drive myself to the airport. That in itself is a maze with many entrances, exits and car parks. American Airlines has its own area which is kinda perfect, lol. Inside the airport, there are many choices of food shops, drink stops, restaurants, shopping zones etc You can be thoroughly entertained especially if you have long layovers 😁 There's plenty seating. The chairs are not comfortable for naps. I have seen people asleep on the carpeted floors awaiting their flights. The air trains and moving walkways are a plus. I do love MIA as a transfer point to other countries once I gather my bearings lol

Very nice and beautiful airport with diverse community. Huge airport but need little improvements in term of ease of transport. Too busy for the size of the airport and the people they handle are mostly from South American and so more Spanish speaker and people and customer care is more for them . But overall nice place . Designed nicely but too many people comes around . Nice shops and restaurants to browse around . Beautiful view of the landing and departure of planes with the Miami and biscane bay view which are one of the best in the world

I spent the day here in the Miami airport. The signage is poor with a sign i ficating to go up and right to my gate. But it turned out the sign meant to go straight and not go up. The sign for checkpoint 1 is about 40 feet from the real check point 1 The signage for gates is good and visible The accessible restrooms offer open door entry and dedicated stall with 2 grab bars and 4ftx 4 ft space. The airport offers a variety of eateries from International Au Bon Pain and local favorites like cafe Vincennes and La Carreta. Eateries and shops are Aceesibke open entry and venues. The floors here are different types of terrazzo like black and white with golden designs. The floors reflect the lights and can cause a visual challenges for some people. Today I was offered a sample of Bombay Sapphire which was my first tasting in an airport Men’s and women’s accessible restrooms are located in several areas with dedicated stalls 2 grab bars and 4ftx4ft space with mostly hands free operation

The airport layout at this airport is a little confusing for rookies like me, and the signage could have been clearer. Still, most of the people I interacted with were nice and helpful. There was a good variety of dining and shopping options to check out while we waited for our flight.

What a huge airport. We are flying out of H terminal and had a good 1.13 mile walk this morning before our flight in both H and J terminal. H terminal has lots of carpet making pushing / pulling luggage have some extra effort. J terminal has nice waxed floors easier on the walking. We could a wonderful quote in the floor spanning a long part of the J Terminal walk from The Everglades River of Grass written by Marjory Stoneman Douglas.

I love this airport because it offers a great variety of food options😆. The bathrooms are 60% clean. The lines at check point are huge, but they go pretty fast. I also find entertainment watching the constant stream of planes taking off and landing.
LIA P — Google review
It's huge airport, with lots of shops and places to eat and drink. It's a little bit confusing at first. some parts look a bit dated. The gates aren't all together as they place shops and restaurants between them, so you can end up walking about a mile to your gate, but they do have the handy SkyTrain if you don't like exploring. One thing I found a bit funny as someone who isn't American is the toilets have huge gaps between the floor and the cubicle wall, so it doesn't feel very private. Ultimately it has all the conveniences you would want in an airport, but it didn't wow me at all.
