The Valley Evesham is a modern shopping center and garden with over 40 shops, eateries, and leisure facilities. It offers a delightful shopping experience surrounded by picturesque countryside views. Visitors can enjoy browsing through clothing stores, dining at various eateries, and exploring the garden center. Families can also take their children to the playground or enjoy a ride on the miniature railway.
Visited here on a sunny day on a coach trip. What a great place to browse and shop. Enjoyed a coffee in the sunshine sitting outside coffee 1. Great offers in Pacers the shoe shop, love the kitchen shop too. Many healthy offers and foods in health food shop. It was fun to watch the water feature. Great to look at deals in weird fish 🐟 and fat face 😀 Will definitely visit again. Need a few hours here, not just 2 hours on coach trip.

The Evesham Valley Railway was fantastic and an extra star for having a baby changing area that also has a loo for the parent (seems like an odd thing to praise but it's really stressful with a toddler when this isn't the case). Only frustration was having to walk through the kids toys to the cafe which caused a complete meltdown for the duration of lunch 🙈 We'll definitely be back.
Anne B — Google review
What a lovely place to spend half a day or so! There was a lovely little railway for all to enjoy - the weather didn’t play ball, it was we’ve so windy, and the friendly lady explained that they’d taken the sensible decision to not run the railway, just to ensure people were safe & sound. She was ever so nice, bless her! I bought some clothes that I loved, form two friendly ladies working in Fat Face! Impulse buys! Brilliant! My nephew & I had such a laugh playing crazy golf! The girl who set us up with our clubs, balls & scorecards was really friendly, personable & professional! My nephew loved the toy section in the garden centre! And he came away with one or two new toys! The choice was amazing! Definitely worth a visit! And plenty of food & drink options! Plenty of parking, good loos & facilities in general! Even agility for the dogs!

This place is a must to go to. There is good coffee shops to go to ,a lot of clothes shops, a train to go on. A new vet as started this year. A garden centre. A lot of free parking there two car parks..also they have mobile homes for sale there..a play area and dog agility park.

Lovely place, shops, coffee places with nice food, something for all ages and dog friendly with free parking. Many happy memories have been made here with family.

Stopped by for a wander round the shops and coffee with friends. Lovely little location, would be great to see shopping options expanded. Weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t explore the full extent of activities for children.

A lovely place for all ages. Lots for children to enjoy. Plenty eateries. Interesting retail units and a great garden centre. Superb for an entertaining day out.

Excellent place to visit and fantastic for dogs, as most shops and areas are dog friendly. Lots of lovely walks. Entertainment for children, a good mix of shops. Oh and the ice cream from the ice cream van was awesome 👍

The Regal Cinema in Evesham is a charming venue that offers a unique cinematic experience. This beautifully restored Art Deco cinema showcases mainstream and arthouse films, as well as live opera and drama. The plush interior, state-of-the-art sound, and projection system create a memorable atmosphere for movie enthusiasts. The cinema also features a cafe/wine bar and gallery, adding to its allure.
We love the seating at the Regal, comfy and spacious. You get a cushion and can order food and drinks from your chair at any time. The show was a Christmas Opera and we were blown away, it was fabulous, the singers appeared upstairs and walked amongst the chairs and for each song, we were given an introduction so we understand what the song was about. Hoping it is back in 2025 so we can go again.
Sally R — Google review
Fist visit to the Regal to watch a film, took advantage of the Sunday family time slot. My daughter and I had a great time, we booked a sofa on the upper circle and ordered food and drinks too. While a bit of a teat as you pay extra for it all, the food and drink was excellent and the whole experience was great. We will go back to repeat the experience as a treat.

Went to see Cavern Beatles with my wife and daughter. One of the best tribute bands I've seen. Going back this weekend to Coldplay tribute band. The Regal is so good. Nice food and drink which can be delivered to your seat by the very efficient staff. Would highly recommend going to the Regal.

This is one of the best cinemas I have ever been to and I have lived in LA where we thought the cinemas were good. But no, who would have thought Port street in Evesham had such a gem of a place. Good service, great decor, comfortable, options. Well done to the owners…. We will be supporting you.

When customers come to visit the office in Evesham and I need to advise them something to do in Evesham, the Regal is the obvious answer. The last working lung of this town. A place of history, beautifully refurbished, showing movies at a great price. The regal creates a feeling of community in town, a town that really needs it. It also has a café and restaurant which is a great idea in a cinema ! Food was okay (nothing out of ordinary) and at okay prices (not cheap but not too expensive either) still no one is forced to eat or drink, so the presence of this option remains a clear positive.
Romeñ B — Google review
Absolutely fabulous example of art deco at its best ! Step inside and be wowed by the decor, seating and the picture quality. Lovely attentive staff, you can even be served at your table and reasonable prices too ! Who wants to go to the multiplexs when this is on offer? Parking nearby in a long stay car park Wonderful experience ❤️👏👏

First time at Evesham Cinema. Nice comfy chairs with a cushion. You can order food and it is brought to you. We had balcony seats, but you can sit downstairs at a table with comfy chairs. The toilets are very clean, as you can see from the photos. The layout is well done and plenty of space to move around.
Sharon — Google review
+ The sound isn't loud at this cinema, which I like. + The cinema has a grand, classic and posh movie threatre feel to it. + The seating is comfortable. + There is a car park nearby that's free after 6pm. - Was the most expensive cinema ticket I've ever bought at £16. - I had to brush crisps off my seat before I sat on it. The cinema is lacking cleanliness. - Films are interrupted by waiters bringing in food and processing beeping contactless payments. - Was sold some ice cream for £4. I was told it was the best ice cream ever, but it was very average. - The air is slightly stale and musty.

Nature & Parks
Abbey Park in Evesham, England is a beautifully maintained park featuring well-kept lawns, landscaped borders, a skate park, a lily pond, and water play fountains. The park also holds historical significance as it was the site of the Battle of Evesham in 1265 and is home to a modest stone memorial marking the burial spot of Simon de Montfort.
Nice clean and tidy park, very well maintained, good river walk. Cafe serving decent ice cream, coffee and snacks. Parking is strange being in a multi story, looks like there's more open air, but not obvious how to get there.
Rob G — Google review
Very Nice park in Evsham. Lovely view by river and ducks. Easy parking on the spot. Near the town centre. I like this place. They have lots of areas to sit and have different areas to play such as the water park, sandpit area with all the classic park rides and an obstacle course area. All of which were used on this visit. We also enjoyed a nice walk up the river and saw plenty of geese, ducks and swans. Great place to bring the family will be back soon
Sadik M — Google review
Lovely park with plenty of places to sit, play area for kids as well as a water play area. Can have a nice walk by the river again with places of places to sit down.

It's a little known fact that the British ships, all 151 of them, gathered on the Avon at Evesham prior to going to war at the Battle of Jutland in 1916. Admiral Sir John Jellicoe had to shout really loud when rallying the fleet as the twenty eight dreadnought class ships were so wide that they had to line up one behind the other. Jellicoe's words were passed Chinese whispers style-ee some thirty-six miles for everyone to hear. There was confusion and some of the ships made their way to Rutland due to misinformation. A difficult task as they had to be carried overland. Matters were complicated as Rutland Water, Europe's biggest man-made reservoir wasn't started until 1971. Abbey Park was constructed to honour the fleet victory with monies provided by the defeated Vice-Admiral Reinhard Scheer who had a whip-round with the defeated German navy.

Enjoyed yet another stroll through this lovely park with my girlfriend. Many things to look at like the lily po nd, war memorial and the kids water park.
Steve W — Google review
Really good place to take kids to have a run about and swings/climbing frame. It has a lovely seating area too so you can get a picnic along. Being close to the river, it is a great day out too if you club the trip with a walk along the river and a walk through the high street.
Kevin D — Google review

The Medieval Market in May is fun! There are lots of interesting stalls and living history camps. The park next to the River Avon is beautiful with lots of swans, geese and ducks. The River Festival in July is also a nice evening spectacle for all the family. The play areas and water and sand play areas are great for the kids and there's plenty of space to throw a ball around for your dog.

The Henrician, located in Evesham, Worcestershire, is managed by the Arts Theatre Trust and aims to provide a diverse arts program for the local community. The trust is committed to improving the theatre to meet the needs of future audiences and values inclusivity. Despite its out-of-town location, it offers ample parking and a well-laid-out theater space.
Had a great night out seeing a fantastic Pink Floyd tribute band, who put on a brilliant show. Friendly staff, good choice at the bar and a reasonable amount of seating in the bar/foyer area. Auditorium seating was good too & plenty of parking.
Sara — Google review
It's a pity this theatre's technical staff have never got their heads round the difference between a drama production and a concert. A drama needs lighting from the front but a concert actually requires the performers to be able to see their music. Lighting from in front means, not only that there isn't enough light on the music, but the light they do provide shines through the music, rendering it illegible. Then the conductor stands in front of the orchestra but, because the lights are behind him, the performers are blinded if they try to look at him. I have complained about this problem for probably 3 decades but nothing has changed. It's a shame that a nice little professionally set up and built theatre is staffed by frankly amateur technicians.
Sheila J — Google review
The theatre, although small has comfortable seats with good leg room. The sound system was first class. Price of drinks benefits greatly from extremely helpful volunteers.

Fantastic venue, and all run by volunteers. Service is second to none. Prices great for a night out. Have been to several gigs here including their folk in the foyer and comedy nights. Both super value for money.

The Hampton Ferry, located at the end of Boat Lane to the west of Evesham, is a historic pedestrian cable ferry that crosses the River Avon. This manually operated ferry has been in existence for over nine centuries and offers a picturesque country walk from Evesham's Market Square. The ferryman pulls passengers across using a cable that sinks to the riverbed when not in use.
This river is absolutely gorgeous and well looked after , just stayed in Evesham for a few days , spent 2 days walking my dog to the end of the walk to the cafe and back , lots to do, lots of seating, very well looked after , everyone was friendly, boats , swans , fishing , on a hot day you can stay all day, it's beautiful

A lovely place to be in the nice weather, very scenic and a lovely walk along the river taking in the views. We went for breakfast in the restaurant, which was lovely and airy and dog friendly. The food was hot and tasty, a lovely morning spent!

We didn't actually go on the ferry. A quiet day, no one attending the carpark. Parked in the closed cafe carpark. Took a short walk along the river before heading into the town to find somewhere to eat.

Restaurant
The Apple Barn Restaurant in Evesham, UK offers a delightful dining experience with excellent service and a wide breakfast selection. Located at the northern end of the Evesham bypass, it provides a pleasant atmosphere and reasonable prices. Visitors praise the friendly staff and recommend trying the delicious bruschetta with tomatoes, avocado, basil, spinach, and seeds. Whether for breakfast or dinner, this restaurant is highly recommended for its quality food and efficient service.
Went for Breakfast on Bank Monday. We have visited before and as a previous experience the food is very good. Full English Breakfast a little over £10 You get good thick bacon, a nice slice of Black pudding. Portions are good. There are lots of other options Always a nice atmosphere and very clean dining area. Staff friendly and helpful.
Mark B — Google review
This is a canteen charging restaurant prices. I paid £8.45 for jacket potato, cheese & beans. Minimal beans. There was a pile of leave on the side with no other accompaniments & no dressing. Edible but not nice. They're charging £15.95 for fish & chips. The gastro pub I'm going to later only charges £16.25 & theirs will be top quality. It's depressing here. Please avoid.
Corrie D — Google review
Staff lovely ,The prawn sandwich with a fancy name horrible, prawns were obviously frozen little & tastless. The bread well may be ok for some but so doughy it looked more like a pasty with seeds than a prawn sandwich. The chips are fantastic sorry to say thats all we enjoyed 2 of these and pot of tea for two as a birthday treat £31.40p wont go back
Keith S — Google review
Not dog friendly. We would have sat outside but staff didn't want to wipe down tables as dogs only allowed on patio area which you could only get to by going through the main area. Menus very tatty and no handles on outside doors from patio area to get back inside. They have the potential to just have a covered area outside but are underutilizing the potential. The cafe immediately opposite is dog friendly and we went there instead.
M J — Google review
Staff were lovely and explained how to order. No real interaction with staff after that. Nice area to sit outside with the dog. Sadly the food was vastly overpriced for what it is. £9 for a kids meal which was a tiny pizza and a few chips. My daughter wanted a bit of cheese on her chips which they were going to charge 2.25 extra for. Questioned it and server agreed just to add it as a note. Said it would only be a tiny bit though. It was. I had ham egg and chips. Ham was okay, a little greasy. Had 6 chips and a pile of pea shoots and purple cabbage with two fried eggs. £15 and I was still hungry afterwards so not really a meal. Very very expensive. Called a restaurant but really a BhS cafe with outside seating
Louisa G — Google review
First time having breakfast here and it was amazing! Service was excellent, friendly staff who explained how ordering worked etc... and fast service. I was surprised it wasn't busier to be honest as it was a lovely day and the breakfast choice was so good! I had the brushetta with tomatoes, avocado, basil, spinach and seeds and it was absolutely amazing! 100% recommend. Prices were really reasonable too. Will definitely be back!

Sunday lunch !!! 1 boiled potatoes with scaby skin, 2 small roast like rubber, what was I think cauliflower cheese looked like a curdled mess on the plate. The chairs and floor were filthy. You stuck to the table. That's my last Sunday roast there . I would give a minus .

I had baked potato, tuna mayo and a garnish what it said on the menu, the potato was a bit dry overcooked, the garnish was lettuce leaves that was it,!! No tomato, cucumber, my husband had ranch ciabatta not worth the money, and lettuce and spring onion, a better garnish would be better proper salad would be good 👍

During my recent adventure in Evesham, I stumbled upon Raphael's, a delightful spot that truly feels like a hidden gem. Nestled by the River Avon, this charming eatery boasts a lovely garden exclusively for customers, providing the perfect backdrop to unwind while enjoying nature. The menu features generous portions; I savored two delicious paninis accompanied by fresh side salads and washed it down with an excellent Choca Mocha and Americano—all at an impressive price.
We stumbled across Raphael's whilst walking along the river, what a lovely place. We only had a couple of breakfast sandwiches but it was very good, definitely a good price and the gentleman who served us was very polite and friendly.. Definitely go again

Big portions. Beautiful homely place to visit, to chill, eat or just have a drink and watch the world go by. The scenery is lovely and peaceful. Lovely place, noticed that there is a little camping site nearby too, will check it out soon as it looked very quiet and so peaceful.

Great place for food with walking options alongside the river. Bank holiday Sunday lunch took 23 minutes from order to table when outside seating was nearly full (~50 people). Car parking £3. Latte £2.70. Dirty chips (with chilli) £12.
John W — Google review
We has a very nice meal this afternoon. Very tasty, good portions and very good value for money. The plants they sell are good value as well. The hanging basket we bought at the beginning of the summer has outlasted some garden centre ones. 👍
Roger L — Google review
Visited Evesham and walked the circular Evesham walk and came across this hidden gem. We sat in the garden which is for customers only, which overlooks the River Avon and the hand pulled pedestrian ferry. The two panninis were very generous with fillings, and served with side salads, and the Choca Mocha and Americano were spot on. All of that for £21. Would definitely visit again, and to be honest, I'd be inclined to park there to start my walk around Evesham.

The restaurant's modern decor creates a relaxing atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy delicious meals.
This place was such a great find, we went two nights in a row. I don’t know that I’ve ever had better Indian food. Everything was so fresh, so well prepared and perfectly seasoned. AMAZING FOOD!!! Real Traditional Italian taste. I had the weekly special Gnocchi with Smoked Pancetta, Sundried Tomatos, Courgettes & Red Basil Pesto Sauce. It was perfection. I also had a latte (finally a decent coffee in Brittain), a Hazelnut Cannoli and Salted Caramel & Nuts Slice. Life's too short, eat dessert first.

Lovely place for authentic Italian food. We had the gnocchi, carbonara and a pizza to share. It was delicious. The staff were fantastic with our small children, and were really attentive. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back on our next visit to Evesham.

So glad I finally got to try my cousin’s café! 🇮🇹 It’s rare to find truly authentic Italian food in the UK, but Buongiorno Café brings it to life with incredible quality and care. The flavours instantly brought me back to the meals I used to enjoy at my Italian grandparents’ during my childhood holidays — a real taste of home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine Italian experience! 🍝🇮🇹

Popped in for an afternoon coffee and cake. Had the honeycomb torte and espresso. Cake was fresh and delicious. Coffee was nicely strong but not bitter. Service with a smile. The only reason I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere, was that the cafe was a bit hot and stuffy. Would definitely go here again if I was in the area.

Well worth a visit. Good lattes, Delicious homemade ham mozzarella paninis. Only negative was the paninis weren't served at the same time. Clean toilets. Would return.

Primark is a popular discount fashion chain that offers a wide range of clothing and accessories for all ages, along with homewares. Despite facing criticism for long queues due to the absence of online sales, it remains significantly cheaper than other high street stores, especially for children's clothing. The store in Milton Keynes provides a spacious shopping environment with accessible facilities such as lifts and flat floors. Customers appreciate the diverse selection and reasonable prices.
⭐ Primark Milton Keynes – Personal Review 1.Reasonable Pricing Primark offers very affordable prices, which is perfect for students and anyone on a budget. 2.Easy Exchange & Return The exchange and return process is simple and hassle-free, making shopping worry-free. 3.Good Availability Most items are available in various sizes and styles, so you’ll likely find what you’re looking for. *Highly Recommended for #International_Students. Massive store with three floors. Loads of till points in each floor. You can literally find everything in here. Lots of options to choose from and had massive collections. Trail rooms were maintained so clean and waiting area was very good idea as well.

The clothes were pretty decent, however the staff were absolutely vile towards me and multiple other people when going to the fitting rooms. They spoke to people as if they were children which I find absolutely disgusting. If you can't answer questions or be polite to people, don't bother working in retail
Louisa G — Google review
The store is Just like most Primark stores. They've got three floors with a bright and clean interior design, creating a comfortable shopping environment for customers. Luckily I found what I needed as they've got an extensive product range here. Overall, if you have visited a Primark store before, you can expect a similar shopping experience at the Milton Keynes location.

Horrible service, incompetent staff. Register broke down so instead of using another one or refunding my item, as I was happy to do it , they kept insisting we all had to wait for someone to come with manuel and open it....
Lukas — Google review
This was one of the most humiliating experiences I’ve ever had. After paying for our items, we were leaving Primark when a security guard named Jake was waiting for us at the escalator. He stopped us and said, “I think you know why I’m here,” and accused us of stuffing things in our bags — basically calling us thieves in front of everyone with zero proof. Jake would definitely feel humiliated if someone treated him like this. We were treated like criminals for no reason at all. It was embarrassing, insulting, and completely unacceptable. Primark should be ashamed of how they allow their staff to treat innocent people.

Just spent a week in one of their caravans. We stayed with our dogs in a pet friendly caravan which was very clean and comfortable, the site was well kept and tidy. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The fishing was excellent on the lakes but the river was carrying extra water ,we will definitely be returning only wished we'd have booked for two weeks.

This is the place to be if you love your fishing and golf? Still being developed I think, but very positively. Showers and Loo's maybe could be improved, but I was here in my motorhome so to a degree self sufficient. Run quietly but efficiently by the very welcoming and sociable David and Wendy Byrd, who made what could have been a difficult weather week into a very helpful success for me, this park is probably not the best total family experience but for singles or couples loving the outdoors, fishing and golf don't miss it! Well worth the 320 mile round trip I make to stay here. Thanks for your help last week Wendy and David, see you again soon!

Points of Interest & Landmarks
The Middle Littleton Tithe Barn, managed by the National Trust, is a well-preserved grade 1 listed building dating back to the 13th or 14th century. It was historically used for storing tithes and rents, which were a tenth of each farm's produce given to the church. Visitors can explore its vast expanse and learn about its historical significance through informative boards.
Wonderful building, the other reviews were right about the pigeons, be aware that they have 1000% taken over this gem of a building, and they may startle you when you enter! But what can you do? Pigeons are going do what pigeons do! So there's a lot of poop inside! The exterior and the outer buildings connected are magnificent and so much bigger than expected! If you like your history, have a stop off here! We also saw a HUGE apple press for making cider (this is in the smaller barn with the steps connected to it, only visible through the windows) There's even an orchard at the back. Recommended :)

Fantastic building but has been overtaken by pigeons. Worth a visit, good parking, dog friendly, has a small orchard next to it. Is a national trust property, but free to enter donations welcome if your not a member.

Ticked away behind private houses and not accessible with large vehicles. Just the barn and outbuildings. You can wander in the tithe barn itself which is incredible but I'd suggest the pub down the road for faccessible
Sophie W — Google review
I love the atmosphere in this historic Tithe barn. Great information boards. Didn't know about the community storing grain to pay church taxes. 10% of the community grain must have been a lot of grain given the impressive of the barn. Great amount of parking.🚘 My children loved running around in it. Definitely worth a visit. Would recommend.
Pink U — Google review
Difficult to retrieve in winter. Setting is fantastic with common land and ancillary buildings including cider press. Public footpath access is limited and could do with a through route for walkers to visit and pass through.
Roger N — Google review
A huge space with an amazing beamed roof. Be aware that when you arrive during normal hours the site can appear closed; the entrance is at the side of the left-hand gabled extension (as seen in one of the 360 degree images I've uploaded). Watch out for the pigeons, they might give you a start as you enter. I went on a Friday afternoon and had the place to myself. Entry and parking are free.
Dave ( — Google review
Congratulations if you can find it. It's a sharp left after the farmyard past the school. Yes drive into what appears to be a private drive. The barn was unmanned so you seemingly walk in through the side door and enjoy its vast expanse.

Nestled in the heart of Evesham, the Almonry Museum and Tourist Information Centre is a captivating destination that beautifully showcases the town's rich history. Housed in a stunning 14th-century almonry, this museum features twelve engaging rooms filled with fascinating exhibits. Visitors can explore significant historical events such as the Battle of Evesham from 1265, discover treasures from an Anglo-Saxon burial site, and admire clothing artifacts dating back to the 1700s.
Excellent visit to the Almonry museum in Evesham with a first class guided tour from Alex. So many fascinating artefacts from the history of the local area, archaeology, geology and social history. The man trap was quite gruesome! Alex gave us a fab historical explanation of the battle of Evesham and the demise of Simon De Montfort that was worthy of a round of applause. Oh and we enjoyed trying on the armour!

It seems that most free to enter museums are amongst the most interesting. a bit small and cluttered but really interesting museum, the undercroft cells still look spooky. there's two floors to it , you could do it in 15 minutes or spend an hour looking at detail...worth a look...especially as the rest of Evesham appears to be on it's backside! N.B. Parking in Evesham now almost impossible!

Visited with grandchildren, ages nine and eleven. Only cost was the 'Monks Trail' leaflet for them. We'll laid out, informative and engaging for all. Spent over two hours here. Highlight for children was the trail and school room. Shame Almonry is closing for renovation but looking forward to seeing it again when complete.

Absolutely great hour or so spent at this lovely place. Free entry then given the option to purchase a little crafts activity for £1 which we chose to do and completed in the main hall at the end. Also did a treasure hunt on the way around which was fun. There was a talk provided by one of staff (think his name was Alex) about knights and weaponry, which was highly informative where the kids (and big kids) could try on the armour! Very well kept place with some nice exhibits. Left a donation at the end, as it being free entry for such great service didnt feel quite right! Recommend to anyone.

Such a lot to see, so many different sorts of things, Old carvings from the Abbey, strange tools for basket weaving, a huge mill, a fairground horse, a door from the jail. A beautiful garden with many little treasures fitted around. Nice shop. Uneven floors, stairs to higher floor.
Catherine M — Google review
I went yesterday and it was back to normal after the lockdown measures were in place. Obviously it still had hand sanitiser by the door and signs telling you to keep a 2 meter distance. The museum is very interesting to look at but the only thing was one of the buttons that you press in the victorian kitchen wasn't working but I did mention that to one of the members of staff yesterday. They are doing a Halloween event this year about the black plauge which I would like to go to as it sounds interesting especially considering I have come here for years.

Totally loved it here, you could spend hour's here just soaking up the history in this 400 year house and with a £5 entry fee it is worth every penny, two floors of jam packed history and a old collection of toys on the second floor will take you back to your school day's

Beyond climbing, the centre offers a variety of activities including swimming and numerous classes tailored to different interests. After an invigorating workout, visitors can unwind in the sauna or spa bath—perfect for relaxation after a day filled with exercise or exploration.
This is the best gym I’ve ever been too. I’ve tried about 5 in London and two in Evesham and this is the best value for money and the best one by far. The classes are amazing! The instructors teach you the moves and do it with you and there’s always modification. They are long and work you really hard. Never been to a gym with such great classes thank you!
Maddy S — Google review
We’ve been going to Evesham Leisure Centre with our son for over 2 years (maybe 3!) with our young son. It used to be our happy place, the facilities are great! However it seems in the last few months there has been a change in lifeguard staff. Unfortunately we don’t feel welcome there any more, overzealous (anxious maybe??) lifeguards have told us on separate occasions in front of our young son that he’s “not a good enough swimmer” it’s crushed his confidence. We are always with him, he’s only 5 years old, he’s fully supported and supervised by us. We complained the first time, nothing changed, it happened again (this time we were in the pool for 5 minutes and in the shallows!) we won’t be returning. Hopefully we can rebuild his confidence at a different pool. If you have SEN children, avoid this pool.

Completed a climbing experience with my grand daughter. Jay is great with the kids, they really engage with him. Only down side is I feel 6 children with 1 instructor means there are quite long gaps when the children are stood around waiting

Decent gym and sauna area. Overall a nice place with a pool, climbing wall, cafe area, studios and sports hall. Great for kids to get into sports and good to see lots of older people using the gym too Not super busy even at peak time in the gym and haven't had to wait for the sauna yet. For £33/month it's great for students, a tad expensive full price unless you will use it most days but joint membership is a good option to have. Only issue for me so far is that most of the gym kit is old and a bit rusty. Would be good to see it brightened up and get a new barbell or two! Can easily make do with how it is though
Dan R — Google review
AVOID this gym if you are a) overweight and looking for a welcoming environment to better yourself, physically. B) are anxious about attending classes and/or the gym because of your weight/physical ability. I used a day pass to attend the Theraputic yoga on a Monday morning. Celia, the instructor of this class, was amazingly welcoming and understanding as she approached me before starting the class recognising that I was new to the class. I explained I have been unwell for years and just easing back into moving my body more and working on my physical/mental health. I was welcomed and advised if I felt pushed at anytime, I could just sit or lie on my mat until I felt able to join back in. Celia came and spoke to me at the end and was lovely and encouraging. Unfortunately that was the end of the welcoming attitude I got from instructors or staff (except the reception staff who are always lovely) I bought myself a membership the next day and booked onto the yoga class on weds morning 11.30 am with Sue. I have to book daytime classes as I am a single mother and need to drop off and pick up from school. On entering this class I didn’t see any instructor until about a minute before the class was due to start, so didn’t approach them to introduce myself. Before we started the class, Sue did approach me and said she recognised me (stilll not sure where from) but knew I was new to the class/gym. I explained I had done yoga and Tai Chi years ago but hadn’t worked out in several years. I said I had attended and enjoyed the class on Monday with Celia and she audibly scoffed and said ‘that doesn’t even count’ when stating that was my way of easing back into yoga. Before I could explain any of my health issues she told me ‘you won’t be able to do this class’. Not-‘you might struggle at times but just do what you can’ it was a straight up ‘you WONT be able to do this class’ I said if still like to try (felt like saying I’ve already paid so it’s a bit late now). She returned to the front of the room and I sat on the mat feeling like I was 13 years old again at school being judged by my size and the way I look. I was 50/50 between running to the disabled toilets opposite to cry and staying and doing the class. I’m proud of myself for staying and completing the class (Sue mentioned several times during the moves that she was ‘pushing us further than usual’ and I’m not sure if that was for my benefit or just how she felt that day but speaking to a few others at the class after, this class was specifically the hardest she had pushed them. During the class there was a man watching all of us (full female class) and Sue brought this to our attention saying we had an audience then making a joke about doing downward dog and giving him something to look at (still V odd and uncomfortable) I think maybe she could of either asked the man to leave or not bring it to all of our attention while in a vulnerable position somewhere that’s meant to feel safe? Either way Sue didn’t approach me after the class to commend me for finishing it (I took a few breaks for some water and to relax my wrists but finished all the moves) I did mention this to the centre manager but was told to try other yoga classes (all in the evening when I couldn’t attend) so I wasted £40 on 3 classes and the confidence I took months to build up, has gone and I’ve cancelled my membership after a month. I honestly did not feel welcome here at all, gym staff stared at me when entering on the one occasion I did, after my experience with Sue and the manager not really being bothered, I didn’t want to even risk booking an induction to the gym with staff who maybe don't like the look of me. I’m sharing this because I don’t want anyone else to waste their time/money/emotions on this place.

Nestled in the heart of Evesham, Ye Olde Red Horse is a charming 15th-century coaching inn that stands as one of the oldest pubs in the Vale. On my recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised by its inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. The pub boasts a cozy garden, perfect for enjoying a peaceful moment outdoors. The menu offers delicious options; I savored freshly cooked dishes like faggots and mash alongside generous portions of lasagne that were both hot and flavorful.
This is the first time we have visited this pub despite visiting Evesham a few times. We were not disappointed and will return next time we visit. The staff were friendly, the pub was clean, garden was small but peaceful and was lovely to sit in. The food was delicious!!! Despite a little wait, the food came out fresh, hot, amazing portion size and really tasty. It’s worth a trip. Thanks to the friendly staff for a lovely lunch experience.

We arrived at the pub on a cold wet Thursday evening, looked at the menu posted outside and decided to pop in. We were directed by a couple of locals outside into the eating side. The atmosphere was welcoming, as were the staff. We ordered faggots and mash, and lasagne. It was lovely. Hot and freshly cooked, decent portions very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend a visit.

The Ivy Inn is a pub that has received positive feedback from customers. On both visits, the atmosphere was friendly with pleasant staff. They offer a variety of drinks, including well-made Guiness. The menu is flexible, as they were accommodating when a customer requested chicken wings not listed on the menu. The food itself was tasty and enjoyable, with highlights such as slow roast belly pork and a chicken curry dish. There is also an outdoor seating area where patrons can relax while enjoying their drinks.
Lovely food. Really enjoyed. Had milk, egg and gluten intolerance and catered really well for them. Also my partner mentions the bhaji burger is a must try.

First time we visited whilst on holiday was for Sunday lunch. This was well presented, hot, very tasty and good value. The second time was on the Tuesday. We went for their Curry Night. This was excellent the curries are very authentic and you build your choice of curry from the menu. Again excellent value for your money. Our final visit before leaving our holiday cottage was tonight. We chose from the pub classic menu. Both meals we ordered was very well presented, hot, tasty and again good value. The staff were very friendly and very helpful , especially the young lady who helped me build my curry on Tuesday, thankyou. Kind regards, Susan and Terry from Devon.

Great food and service and the best toilets I have seen, clean big and free sanitary products. My granddaughter as usual ordered something she wasn't gonna like, which she didn't, the young man who served us was so lovely and understanding he offered more bread and then took it off the bill, he must have heard me say she wasn't gonna get a pudding. I would recommend a visit

Went twice both 5 oclockish....first time a few friendly locals in. Staff chatty and pleasant. Had a Guiness which was spot on. Requested a portion of chicken wings off menu whilst sat in bar...no problem and were very tasty. Second night booked table as there was going to be a Jazz night and had an enjoyable dinner of Slow roast Belly pork which was excellent despite some salad which didn't seen to fit. Wife had a Chicken curry, rice and poppadom which she said was nice and tasty. We then sat outside on a large green and had a couple more drinks...( had to leave before Jazz started but pub was rammed with people) Keep up the good work...

Diners rave about the exceptional quality and generous portions of their dishes, with flavors that stand out from typical Chinese fare. The restaurant's delivery service is consistently praised for its punctuality, ensuring hot meals arrive right at your doorstep. While they no longer offer a buffet menu, patrons appreciate this change as it allows for a more focused selection of top-notch dishes.
Best Chinese meal we have had in Evesham in a very long time. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was excellent. The landlady was very nice and Knowledgeable. They don’t do the buffet menu anymore and to be honest it’s better as the food is top quality. Just order five or six dishes off the menu, Same thing Same price anyway. They also do phone orders and delivery service, But personally you should come and dine in for the best food in my opinion. Drinks , They have a small bar with a selection of wines , Beers , Soft Drinks. Can’t wait to return, Definitely the best Evesham have to offer .

What a little gem of a find! The food was excellent! The flavours of the dishes we've never tasted at other restaurants. The host was amazing! We chatted with her after eating our food. Such a warm , lovely lady, a joy to have met her. Hot food, hot serving dishes . She allowed us to have cartons to take home what we couldn't eat!! We will definitely be going back!!!

Had a takeaway last night and I have to say I was not disappointed. The food was excellent it's the best Chow Mein I have had in a very long time and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her King Prawn Omelette. The extras were just as good and all at a reasonable price. I will definitely be going back again.

Lovely Chinese and lovely people. The food was lovely and full of flavour. Will go back when I’m in Evesham.

We collected a takeaway on Saturday. We were very disappointed. The duck and the spare ribs were overcooked and black. We had trouble shredding the duck as it was baked so hard and the ribs were difficult to eat for the same reason. This was the worst Chinese meal we have ever had. We don’t intend to order from there again.

The Karma Salford Hall is a traditional English hotel with stunning Tudor rooms, a cosy bar, and award-winning restaurant. The garden setting is peaceful and ideal for exploring Shakespeare country.
Stayed here with my partner for 3 days. Not one thing to complain about. The most beautiful building! The area was stunning, the staff so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Food was very tasty. My partner had a massage and loved it. We didn't want to leave! Thank you to all the staff and Karma for a great stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We have been Karma members for over 13 years and this was we think the best presented place that we have stayed at so far. We loved the old historic aspect and they have done a fantastic job to keep the historic theme. Rooms in the main building were great and we actually preferred the deluxe even though it's smaller over the superior. House Breakfast whilst despite not including eggs had ample enough options. Dinner whilst only experienced once was very enjoyable. There are plenty of other great dinner options within a short drive should you wish to eat elsewhere. Staff were great and always tried as best they could to accommodate any requirements. If you are planning a trip to the UK make sure you make the effort to stay at least a few nights here. And check out the area.

We had a wonderful wedding at Karma Salford Hall. Before the event, we had various special requests but Ellie was very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. On the day, everything was perfect. The food was beautifully prepared and served. All the staff, not only those directly involved with the wedding but also others working in the hotel that day were very helpful and friendly. Thank you Ellie and her team at Karma for helping us to give our guests a such a memorable day.

Honestly, I wanted to love this place but the carpets are worn, room 29 has a hole in the floor in the entry. The entry to the hotel is likewise worn. The tile in the bathroom were cracked. The facility was like visiting or sleeping in a museum. This location rather requires sprucing up. I think if the Karma group wanted to sell more memberships in the UK, they need to stop channeling worn out hunting lodge and find the luxury they spoke about. Some notable loveliness—breakfast was a highlight. I enjoyed it very much. The fruit could be more plentiful but it worked. The pub attached was quite lovely and the smash burger special of 20 quid for w burger and beer was nice. The grounds were very well manicured and the flowers were in bloom. I enjoyed the beer garden with the fountain and fish!! The staff was likewise very attentive. We lost our lighting and they got to it quickly and sorted out the electricity. There is no laundry or none was mentioned—not sure but we went to town to wash our knickers. I did send our sales guy Nick an email thanking him for our stay but never received a response. Would I stay here again? Maybe….but they need to make an investment in their facility.

Called in when using the EV charging point. Fabulous old building and gorgeous walled garden. The food was pretty pricey but £20 for a main is probably becoming more usual. The food was well presented and looked really good. It was generally fine if not particularly nice, other than the £18 Caesar salad. Again this looked really good but for some reason they used stale bread instead of croutons (they were white and had possibly been intentionally dried but then left in the fridge for some time, they were certainly not fresh golden fried croutons). We went into the bar and returned the salad and said (due to the time it had taken to deliver the food initially) that we would just have some chips as the salad was inedible. The manager then made the long walk over to our table with the salad and informed us that the bread wasn't stale and was in fact freshly made croutons. We then had a lengthy and unhappy discussion in which he tried to enforce the salad on us. I asked the manager if he had tried the bread. He said no. I said well I have and it's stale bread. He said that's not possible because the chef had told him they were fresh croutons. The manager then stood over our table and eye balled me for a full 10 seconds whilst the other people I was with tried to pacify him. Over a stale Caesar salad. Charming. The other staff were all nice.

If you are going for the location and the exterior looks of the property, please do! The property from the outside is amazing and looks like we are actually going to live in a castle! The garden and all is great. However, coming down to the standard of rooms - its much below average. The room size is good but the quality is not 3 star at all. Everything is old and about to break. Do not even think about going to this place in peak summer. You will boil up as the rooms are meant to insulate and there is no AC or proper ventilation to help you apart from the small fan. The bathroom tiles are broken and the most amazing part is, there is no water coming out of the shower!! Apparently there is some sort of pump here which starts to work when you open up the tap. Its very temperamental. If one person takes a bath, good luck waiting 30 mins for the next. Here is the video of it.

As a member of the Karma Group I always wanted to try a place in UK, and last weekend I took the opportunity for 3nights. The staff are friendly and always willing to help with a smile especially the breakfast and bar staff, not to say the receptionist weren’t 😜 The building is 700 years old and it retains its characteristic. Therefore the only improvement comment is that the rooms were difficult to cool down even with 2 fans. With hotter British summers a plan to install aircons should be considered. The place and rooms are well kept and tidy, although we didn’t actually meet any housekeeping staff to comment about them, but the results says it all. We stayed in room 25 in Tudor court. The bathroom was on a floor up with in the room. I would recommend this place.

Charming Historic Stay at Karma Salford Hall We recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Karma Salford Hall as part of a Karma special deal. (We were obliged to attended an hour overview of Karma group travel offer) This Grade I listed building is a beautifully preserved piece of history, tastefully modernised where possible without losing its original charm. We stayed in Room 29, located in the courtyard. The room was spacious, with a comfortable king-size four-poster bed and original beams adding character throughout. The modern bathroom featured zesty toiletries and thick, fluffy towels, although the shower could have been more powerful. As expected in a listed building, there's no air conditioning, but a large fan was provided and worked well. A small fridge with complimentary bottled water was a nice touch, along with tea and coffee-making facilities. Housekeeping was available daily on request, and we appreciated the thoughtful gesture of fresh toilet roll and water left outside our door when we declined a clean. The restaurant is charming, though the menu is a little limited, so we opted for a bar meal one evening. We had a tasty pizza with fries and a glass of wine – simple but satisfying. The main hotel also features a cosy games room with a full-sized snooker table, record player, and other classic games – a fun spot to relax. Staff throughout our stay were consistently polite, welcoming, and helpful. A lovely bonus was the complimentary cheese and wine event held on Mondays and Fridays – a great way to meet other guests. The grounds include a tennis court and a small gym, adding to the well-rounded facilities. Overall, a relaxing and memorable stay in a unique and historic setting.

We have been here a lot of breakfast recently, the lovely lady on in the morning is always amazing. Great service. She has made it a firm favourite spot for us for sure. We recently tried it a couple of times in the evening and we had an equally as awesome time. Staff are always so polite and friendly. Food is always fab and the variety is great. Puddings and cocktails are my favorite, prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is perfect. A really good dining spot in the town. Highly recommend!!!!

Having recently moved closer to the area, we’ve started dining more frequently at Stir Ups. Our first outing was on a Saturday night, and we were pleasantly surprised at how busy it was. On this particular night, they had their 'Stock Exchange' drinks on offer - which was fun to watch and work out. So far, on all three visits, the service has been great - a special mention to Noelle for always being attentive and friendly. The cocktails are good, though we do find they vary slightly depending on who makes them. The food is good too, but we feel this place is more about the atmosphere. There’s a fun photo booth, karaoke room, and virtual darts board. Overall, it’s a simple, quick, and easy spot for food and drinks.

We have been a few times in the past. Previous visits would have been 5/5 star, but the last visit was utter disappointment. The beef burgers are an utter joke. I am not even sure that they should be called a burger. The patty was so thin that I think there was more lettuce than beef. The description should have been "salad with a slither of beef". Patties the thickness of a 1 penny coin. That isn't even a joke... Probably our last visit.

Went for lunch today without a booking. Was warmly welcomed given menus. We sat outside ordered drinks and food. The drinks arrived promptly followed by the food about 20 minutes later. The food was 1st class, it looked amazing was packed with flavour and very well seasoned. I was truly surprised and impressed by the service, choice and food quality. The toilets were also very clean which is rare in some high street restaurants. I will definitely return Unfortunately couldn’t really comment on atmosphere as it was early Sunday lunch.

I first visited Stirrups a few months ago and left with rather a good impression. The food was decent, the atmosphere lively, and the cocktails - especially during happy hour - were the star of the evening. They were well-made, generous, and enjoyable enough that we stayed far longer than planned, ordering more food to soak up the spirits. On that occasion, the place was buzzing; a Friday night full of people enjoying themselves. Fast forward to our return visit, also on a Friday, and what a contrast. The restaurant was almost empty, the energy flat, and sadly the cocktails - the very reason we came back - were an absolute disappointment. The happy hour menu had been stripped down to the bare minimum, with concoctions so uninspiring they bordered on the vile. I appreciate the challenges of today’s economy and the need to trim costs, but cutting the very thing that sets you apart feels like resignation. I don’t mind paying £10 for a proper, well-made cocktail, but if you advertise happy hour as a draw, it ought to be worth the effort. Instead, it was quietly embarrassing. We pressed on and ordered full-price cocktails and some burgers. Here again, something had changed. They were passable, but lacked the flavour and enjoyment I remembered. Something was missing - perhaps just the sense of care. And then there was the slaw. Even on my first visit I found it peculiar, over-engineered for the sake of standing out. This time it veered from bland to strangely off-tasting, which hardly inspired confidence. The one redeeming factor was the staff, who were unfailingly friendly and attentive. They deserved better food and a better drinks list to work with. In short, Stirrups once held promise but seems to be sliding into mediocrity. A lively Friday night with excellent cocktails can carry a place; limp drinks, flat atmosphere, and forgettable food cannot. A shame-because Evesham deserves better. ⭐️⭐️ 2/5 - saved only by the staff and memories of what it once was.

Anglican church
All Saints Parish Church in Evesham, Worcestershire, England is a stunning example of medieval religious architecture. Built by the Benedictine monks of Evesham Abbey in the 12th century, it now serves as the town's parish church. The church features beautiful stained glass windows and houses a remarkable 3-manual Nicholson pipe organ. Visitors can explore its rich history through informative boards outside. The warm and friendly congregation provides a welcoming atmosphere for all who visit this historic site.
A beautiful church in the heart of a bustling market town. Lovely stained glass windows, also home to a fantastic 3 manual Nicholson pipe organ.

One of The Thousand. The church properly doesn’t get the time or notoriety in the town it deserves. Clearly the heart and centre of the town from its start. Oddities like Moses with horns, not your usual depiction, and a painted crown ceiling join, bring this to life. Great to see that it looked well used and was varying its service to continue to be the heart of the town, where it can.

All Saints Church is an active Anglican church in the centre of the town of Evesham, Worcestershire, England. All Saints and its neighbour St Lawrence's Church were built by the Benedictine monks of Evesham Abbey in the 12th century to serve the people of Evesham. All Saints is now the town's parish church, as St Lawrence's was declared redundant in the 1970s. It has been designated as a Grade I listed building by Historic England. The first-recorded church organ in All Saints was originally built for the Rotunda in Ranelagh Gardens, Chelsea, where it may have been played by Mozart. In 1805, after Rotunda had been broken up, the great reeds were taken out and the organ taken to Evesham. This organ was replaced as part of the Victorian restoration of the church. In 1875 a new organ, built by Nicholson with 3 manual positions and a pneumatic action, was installed in the new organ loft. In 1904, as a memorial of the foundation of Evesham Abbey (701) and the reign of Queen Victoria (1837-1901), the organ was enlarged and improved by the addition of a third manual pneumatic action and extra stops. In 1967 the organ was significantly enlarged by Nicholson. In 1991 the organ was significantly rebuilt by Nicholson, now with electronic controls and a mobile console.

St Lawrence's Church in Evesham is a captivating religious site with a rich history dating back to the 12th century. Originally founded by the monks of Evesham Abbey, this church faced challenges over the centuries, including losing its vicar and roof. However, it was restored in the 1830s and features an impressive bell tower. Visitors appreciate its peaceful atmosphere and historical significance.
A nice peaceful place to visit. This whole area is a great place steeped in history. The only regret is not being able to see what once stood on these grounds, long ago destroyed. Nothing can ever bring back the monastery only a good imagination and relying on artist impressions.
Rob F — Google review
This church was the church used by pilgrims visiting Evesham Abbey. The abbot ordered the church to be built and the pilgrims were judged to be the carriers of dreadful diseases which were often fatal. The church has a long and interesting history. It is no longer used for regular services as the parish church of Al Saints is just next door. This was the church used by the monks and the townspeople. St Lawrence's is now in the care of the Churches Preservation Society. It is well worth visiting to admire the excellence of the craftsmen who restored it after the dissolution and plunder of the monasteries by Henry VIII and his hooligans. The stained glass is worth a visit just on its own accord.

Evesham Bell Tower is a historic site that reflects the rich history of Evesham, England. It’s really nice to hear the bells and visit the beautiful gardens around the tower. There is a lot of history to this part of Evesham and it’s good to pick up some information beforehand to picture what no longer exists. If history isn’t your thing it’s still a nice place to visit, picnic or walk the dog etc. Again it’s nice to hear the bells being used.

Popped to Evesham for the day and had lunch here, we had the chicken harissa on a flat bread the food was so flavorful I'll give it 10/10. Only down side was the (beer) pint glass was a little muggy looking could of been cleaner. But would return to try other things off the menu as the menu had some good choices.

Very surprising this is at the top and recommended by Google! Ordered a shamash burger without Bacon and a beyond meat burger, when the food arrived we were served a lounge burger and a brisket burger, the waiter correct themselves but was unsure if he had served the beyond meat burger. By burger arrived and it had bacon on it that was sooooo dry ! I've had jerky better than that bacon! The burger was dry and the cheese tasted off , we asked for vinegar as it wasn't on the table ( the staff also forgot to ask if we needed anything else) then presented us with a vinegar bottle. *Also the side salad we received was at least three to four day old , the leaves were limp and not crunchy or fresh . For £48.60 it was not worth it The location is lovely

Popped to Evesham for a light lunch and found a gem – Orto Lounge. Tucked away in a pretty square just off the main street, it boasts funky decor and relaxed seating that gives it a warm, quirky vibe. The menu has something for everyone – plenty of veggie options too. I tried the mac and cheese (officially a side, but you can order a large) – perfectly creamy and cheesy, just how it should be. The smashed burger was full of flavour and paired beautifully with crispy sweet potato fries. Drinks-wise, I loved the Elderflower Spritz – super refreshing. Ordering was easy, straight from the table, though you can pop up to the bar if you prefer. Food came out quickly, which was a nice bonus. A great spot for a casual lunch – would definitely return!

Tonight, ordered 2 small Margarita pizzas, 1 large stuffed crust and 3 portions of tatatotts; told it’d be delivered in 30 minutes (which I doubted at the time). An hour passed so I called to check, 10 minutes they said (making it 70 minutes). 10 more minutes passed so I called again, 10 minutes they said and they’d call the driver to confirm and call me back. 10 minutes passed so I called back (it’s now 90 minutes), I’m told they can’t contact the driver and it’ll be about 10 more minutes; at this point, I wasn’t going to hold my breath waiting for the food to arrive so I requested a full refund, this was granted. The lady on the phone was apologetic but seemed to not understand that my children didn’t understand that they were not getting what had been promised. Will I use Papa Johns again? No, there more pizza places in Evesham than people so choice is vast.

Absolutely terrible. I ordered a take out and all the toppings I wanted were missing. This is partly due to a poor app that does not show the toppings that you have ordered. Tried them for a change, they are terribly over priced. Will never order from them again. Back to Dominos that I have always had a good product from with no problems.

Wasn't sure whether to go medium or large and asked to see the size of a medium and went for that. The offer in the app was £10 for collection. They were doing an offer for large at £9.99 in store and mentioned nothing about it while deciding. After my mentioning it they said sorry but it was too late. Friendly enough staff but customer service was not as great as it could have been here. They could have let me know or offered to do something else to make up for it. They might be trying to make more money but that sort of thing puts me off going back somewhere. It might have been 4 stars otherwise.

Best pizza I’ve ever had, delivered quick and piping hot. Both stuffed crust pizzas had the perfect amount of toppings and were beautifully made. Definitely gone up in their standards recently, have to recommend people give them a try!

For a first time we decided to order from Papa johns in Evesham. Pepperoni pizza have a brilliant taste I think best what I had before.Love your special garlic dip thats so nice! Definitely will recommend and definitely its not last my ordering from Papa johns. Thanks nice and friendly staff!! 10+++

Where are my toppings? Paid £22 for pizza and basically missing its toppings, only sausage on half?? No jalapeños even though I ordered them,3 slices with no olives on?! Avoid!!!!
Dominic P — Google review
Awful. Absolutely disappointed. Ordered BBQ pizza, no mushrooms, instead I got onions. No BBQ sauce, got maybe few chicken on the pizza and some (but little ) bit of bacon. Opened the special garlic sauce, its yellow, it tastes like butter, that is not a garlic sauce. Will never order it again, waste of money.

Day 4

Off the beaten path
For day 4, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Twyford Antique Centre. Not quite as popular as Almonry Museum and Tourist Information Centre, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

Twyford Antique Centre is a delightful treasure trove nestled just behind the high street, sharing its entrance with Abbey Appliances, which can make it easy to overlook at first glance. However, once you step inside, you'll discover a spacious and inviting atmosphere filled with an eclectic mix of vintage items across two levels. The centre boasts a variety of unique finds that cater to all tastes—whether you're on the hunt for furniture or collectibles like model railway pieces.
I visited on a Saturday. The entrance is a little misleading (it shares it's entrance with Abbey Appliances) but once you're inside it's an Aladdin's cave to explore with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff member. Loved it!
Louise T — Google review
A short walk from the town center. The entrance shared with Abbey Appliances so it is easy to miss upon first viewing. Not a large vintage emporium but nevertheless, plenty of hidden gems to look at. It's alot bigger inside, I think there are steps at the entrance. There is a first floor with more items but contained to a smaller space as seen in the video. Unfortunately didn't have much time to spend looking around as passing through the area. Purchased a Charleston era looking figurine.

Twyford Antiques is just behind the high street tucked away by an appliance shop. But it’s worth a visit as it has a good range of items and it is reasonably priced. On two levels, there is something for everyone and even if you’re not shopping for anything in particular, there’s sure to be something that will grab your interest. We browsed for half an hour at our leisure before heading to two other antique shops on the high street. Though a little disappointed with Evesham shops generally, this store was a good find.

I love looking round antique shops and I was really lucky to find a couple of perfect items of furniture to fit my studio. I have to go back as we have more wall space to fill and more furniture to buy 😃
Sally R — Google review
Visited this place after I saw it on Antique Road Trip and brought a couple of items. The guy that runs it was very friendly and was happy to hold a item I saw on the Antiques show. And was so grateful he offered to fetch the item from upstair. So thanks for that. If passing pop in ....
Celia M — Google review
Lovely Antiques Shop, lots of good items up there. If you want a good deal for furniture, model railway stuff, ETC, this is the place to go! I myself have had some excellent deals, I got a Hornby B17/4 called 'Manchester United' from there, and the guy even dropped the price £15 for me! I shall definitely be getting more stuff from there. 10/10

Battle of Evesham Festival

Festival
During the 13th century, England's Second Barons' War witnessed a significant conflict near the town of Evesham, known as the Battle of Evesham. This event marked Prince Edward's triumph, later King Edward I. The Battle of Evesham Festival successfully honors this historical past by engaging and captivating both locals and enthusiasts alike. Showcasing military vehicles and re-enactments, this festival offers an enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages.
It took place over the first weekend of August in the meadows next to the River Avon. It's a free event and we visited on Sunday. It had a good, bustling atmosphere with lots of Medieval camps to see including horses. The re-enactors were in good spirits and happily chatted to us about the history of the battle. A good event for families to visit during the summer holidays.
Louise T — Google review
I came from Japan for The battle of Evesham fest and was not disappointed. The shops had so many cool things, horn mugs, leather goods, knives, and clothing to name a few. Great choices of food and drinks as well. The battle reenactment was so much fun and educational. Talking to the reenactors was also great fun, they were so friendly and didn't mind answering my dumb questions.
H. K — Google review
Good day out, plenty of food stall available. Brilliant car park set up and good show.
Kieran B — Google review
Park and ride is from the south of Evesham at the football club and £10 a day. Festival itself is free although they suggest £2 a person donation. Well worth a visit. A very busy day. A medieval festival is also held in may which is free with free parking on the crown meadow car park.
Susan A — Google review
Our very first time coming to The Battle of Evesham Reenactment We were very impressed with the layout, the organisation the sheer amount of food stall ,and merchandise stalls including all of the reenactment people on site in was a fantastic day out.The reenactment of the battle itself was fantastic .It can get very busy with traffic in the town and we had to park on the local sports centre car park. So if you are thinking of going next year go early in the morning or find accommodation. We are definitely going next year and we will be booking accommodation ASAP. I did ask two of the organisers if they're were plans to bring in a park and ride systems for future for that weekend and they said that was the hope It definitely needs a park and ride to help with congestion. But otherwise, such a great weekend. Well done 👏
Dez H — Google review
Brilliant! Lots to see, great for everyone to visit.
Claire C — Google review
It highlights the bygone era about the battle that took place with the cavalry fighting in their traditional weaponry on horseback and on foot takes you back in time with live commentary visitors throng the place for a glimpse along with family members with stalls all around selling souvenirs and food stalls serving tasty food

Went on a Friday night and the place was packed. Waited for a table and it was well worth the wait - excellent food. We were so impressed we decided to go again on the Saturday night. Bizarrely the place was empty at about 8.50pm. Once again the food was excellent and I attempted to pass on my compliments to the member of staff who served us. Unfortunately he was not interested at all in my feedback and I was quickly dismissed as he went about other things. Most peculiar. This restaurant is not licensed however you can take your own alcohol. Top Tip there's an off licence about five doors up.

The Orchard Beefeater is a popular pub-style chain that has been serving up delicious grilled meats and international favorites since 1974. With over 140 locations across the UK, it's known for its famous grills and friendly service. From mouth-watering steaks to fresh fish and salads, there are plenty of great-value meals on the menu. While some customers have mentioned that the service could be improved, many still enjoy the food and atmosphere at The Orchard Beefeater.
Been a few times and it gets better each time, they ask questions such as, are they any allergies etc The food arrives hot and presentable and with friendly staff. Only thing that needed doing was for staff to give us our cutlery and condiments and ask if everything is OK after 5mins otherwise it was spot on 👌 garlic tiger prawns are amazing!

Well we got here for 12 we were booked for 12 noon but staff was running late, it was unclear when we will get a table and when we will order, we were left to ourselves for 15 minures then we got up and suddenly someone appeared and gave us a table so it was like disjointed and yeah you were short of staff and not prepared for service Also it was like an information that cash only payment by later it was ok to pay by card, so all was very confusing tbh... Food was fresh and tasty Car park ok plenty of space I guess each beefeater is different staff and here was the worst experience, had to wave for 5 minutes to get someone to the table to get a bill then after waiting for 5 minutes for a staff to bring card reader I got up and went to pay at the till cus staff did not come to take a payment, so effectively you wasted a lot of my time, perhaps don't open if you don't have staff to run your restaurant Bins outside overflowing and in ladies toilet flash button wasn't working. We do like Beefeater chain but this one fail us.

We ask 4 our drinks then a lady come back and say we have not got them drinks so we said there is shop over there and she got funny about us saying that so we never had anythink in the end. Very bad really we went be back again u need 2 make sure your staff have better manners and dont eat sweets as well dont look good really

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than MY FRANGOS. This gem offers an incredible selection of grilled chicken that is simply unforgettable—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. Their half grilled chicken paired with peri peri wings and generous portions of fries is a must-try! While there may have been some hiccups with orders in the past due to app issues, the staff's professionalism shines through.
My favorite shop is My Frangos. My favorite food is grilled chicken with extra hot sauce and rice. Whenever I have time, I come here and get something. The quality of the food is very good. The smell of the food fills my heart. The staff here are also sincere. I like their friendly and easy-going attitude.
Ahmed H — Google review
My experience at My Frangos in Evesham was nothing short of fantastic, and I can confidently say it is one of the best halal places in the area. From the moment I placed my order, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, making the whole experience very enjoyable. One of the things that really stood out was their generosity—they gave me extra chips and dips without me even asking, which was such a nice surprise and showed their commitment to excellent customer service. On top of that, I received a discount on my order, which made the meal even better value for money. The food quality at My Frangos is truly impressive. Everything I ordered was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the spices used were just right, offering a perfect balance that highlighted the halal dishes beautifully. Whether you’re a fan of grilled chicken, wraps, or classic fried items, you’re bound to find something delicious here. The fries were crispy and tasty, and the dips complemented the dishes perfectly, enhancing the overall taste. What really makes My Frangos stand out is their combination of quality, value, and excellent customer service. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it reflects in every aspect of the dining experience. For anyone in Evesham looking for a reliable, tasty halal takeaway with friendly staff and great offers, I highly recommend My Frangos. It’s a place I’ll definitely be returning to and suggesting to friends and family. If you want delicious food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the spot to visit.

Ordered to a hotel. Was quickly delivered and piping hot. Very tasty and large portions.
Catt 3 — Google review
Disappointing experience with this service. Food arrived late, and when we called to check on delivery, the staff were rude. The driver claimed on the app that the food was delivered before actually arriving, which added to the delay. Unfortunately, the food was cold and the chips were dry by the time it arrived. When we called to complain, the shop's customer service was rude and left a lot to be desired. AVOID edit: I only called the shop 8 minutes after the app showed my order as delivered, which was over an hour after ordering, not 45 minutes as you're claiming (screenshots as proof). You initially confirmed with the driver, then said he was 5 minutes away. Why claim it was delivered in the first place? And yes, I understand you use insulated bags, but the food still arrived cold. Doesn't change the fact that the delivery process was poorly handled
Ronald M — Google review
If I could give this place 0 that’s exactly what they would get, 3 times I’ve ordered delivery from them and my food has been wrong and 1 or 2 hours late and once I ordered at 5pm and I called them at 6 to ask where my food was for them to say their driver called in sick so they will send my food when somebody else comes in at 8pm of which I received my food at 9pm in the end. Today I have gone to collect to see if it’s different, my food didn’t have peri salt on which I paid for on all meals and my chilli cheese bites weren’t even cooked through and when I called they said they would replace the chips next time as they are closing. They were absolutely rude! But then took my number and text me asking for my full address to send new food after I said I would be giving a bad review.I absolutely love the food when it is right but I will not be ordering again!

Best burgers in Evesham hands down. The flavour and quality of the food is always incredible. The atmosphere feels very warm and family-like. Sometimes I worry I spend a little too much money here because I come in multiple times per week at times, but it’s damn worth it. Please try the chicken Max burger and you will know what I mean. (The wings are also beautiful by the way)

(Amended review) Had an issue with my frangos order due to a problem with their app (incorrect pricing) Member of staff got argumentative with me regarding my order as I only received half of what I paid for (again due to an issue with their in house app) Manager was very professional and contacted me very promptly & calmly and sorted the issue and made sure I received what I had ordered and was very understanding and was also very clear about the issue and had made amendments to the order in which the issue was completely resolved. I have ordered time and time again from these guys and their food has always been great. Disappointing about the one staff member letting them down with her customer service but cannot fault Aisha (sorry if spelt wrong) and the manager (do not have a name) for sorting this in a much friendlier manner. Thanks

The chicken had a very delicious sauce. You can order without sauce aswell. But I loved sauce . According to manager here is the only halal restaurant in Evesham. Price was reasonable. And chips and onion rings was crispy, fresh and delicious.
