Very clean shopping centre with mix of retail and eateries and even theatre in town centre. Did not see any vacant shops and good vibe. There was security guards on duty which gave you that feeling of safety.

Very nice town to visit, and a good range of different shops.

Good shops about but my favourite shop unfortunately has closedown which puts me off chapel & friary walk.

A Great mixture of brand and independent shops, exceptional staff, very clean, no crime all while surrounded by a city deep in history with the Most outstanding architecture. Not many places still have a house of fraser but worcester dose. Close to Great restaurants, canal, gergioan and tudor buildings and the cathedral an idyllic setting for a day's retail therapy.

Fantastic shopping centre and loving Worcester city centre.... Thanks Worcester for such a great place and walking down the river Severn front from Diglis Basin all the way past the cathedral and pretty promenade houses was very special! So much history within Worcester and such an historical city and full of cultural heritage and landmarks too... Even did the Ferry to the other side of the river and back again...the ferryman is a star and legend too...(reminds me of the song: "Don't Pay the Ferryman" by Chris de Burgh)
JB — Google review
Great dessert stands that everyone seems to be missing. Look our for Mousse Delice near the shopping centre.
Olliver P — Google review
Definitely worth a visit, great customer service with an issue I had. Dealt with promptly and courteously which is very rare these days, 5 stars from me.
Doug — Google review
Not large, but nice and located quite perfectly in the center. You can find clothing, food, a place to sit, books and generally anything you might need when going shopping, which is what you want from a shopping centre. They are also updating it decently often, so it doesn't look old and run down. Clean. It's also nearby the canal, which is a nice place to sit and consume some food after shipping.

Cathedral Square is a historic location in Worcester that offers a diverse shopping experience with well-known fashion and lifestyle brands alongside independent stores. Visitors can conveniently park at the pay and display NCP multi-storey car park opposite the Cathedral or at nearby car parks such as Copenhagen Street and King Street. The square boasts an array of fashion stores like Topshop, H&M, Next, White Stuff, and Monsoon. Additionally, there are various coffee shops for a quick bite or drink.
Had a great time here singing with Rock Choir as part of the entertainment ar the Worcester Victorian Artisan Fayre. Hundreds of fantastic stalls, lovely street food, Cristmas lights, Music, and and a party atmosphere that I haven't seen the like of for years. Lovely area and not to be missed.

The square offers plenty of places for socialising, we ate in Miller and carter but food was at poor standard over £90 for 2 persons and the food was no better than witherspoons ,disappointed, I expected better

Stayed in Travelodge attached to centre. Loved the Botanist pub / restaurant, wife found it very relaxing

Plenty to do here, food and entertainment. Hopefully will visit again very soon
Lee N — Google review
The best thing about it is its proximity to the cathedral which I like to visit. There are a few places to eat, all of which seem very popular - I usually opt for ASK as I know what I'm getting, but I could be more adventurous! The square also features a very imposing and fine statue of the composer Edward Elgar.

Worcester Cathedral, a Norman-era and Gothic place of worship for the Church of England, is home to the tomb of King John and a tower with 235 steps. The cathedral's education department offers educational experiences to over 6,000 children annually. The Dean and Chapter's vision led to the conservation and public use of a 12th-century former monastic refectory cellar, now serving as an innovative education center.
Lovely cathedral. Beautiful stained glass and vaulted ceiling. As a non religious person it was very interesting, fascinating history and peaceful atmosphere. Would have liked to spend a bit more time there but sadly it wasn't overly pram friendly. (Baby asleep). Nevertheless it was a fantastic visit.

Beautiful cathedral to visit, quite breathtaking in parts. Free entry (suggested donation £7). Lots to see and a lovely comfy cafe also. Outside is a bit scruffy but not helped by the dry weather I suspect. You can climb the tower but only on guided tours. Really enjoyed my visit there.

The nave is very beautiful with spectacular stained glass and vaulted ceiling. See the tombs of King John and Prince Arthur. We liked St George's Chapel dedicated to the Worcestershire Regiment. As a non religious person it was still interesting and there is a peaceful atmosphere.

Primark is a budget-friendly fashion retailer that offers a wide range of clothing, accessories, and homewares for all ages. The store in Worcester provides a convenient shopping experience with helpful staff who assist in finding items and offer efficient service. While the store features good stock and affordable prices, it's noted that the fast fashion items may not be made to last. Despite this, customers appreciate the variety of sizes available and find it to be a great place for affordable shopping with quality items.
What a lovely experience going to shopping at Primark Worcester, the tidy and clean place, and also how polite and kind the people is, make a dream come true. I used to visit a very busy primark, and go there, make a massive difference. So, is a really good option go there to have a relaxing time shopping.

really nice staff but i brought some leggins and they are dirty
Leah J — Google review
Good sized Primark, but due to the nature of the city, it is a little difficult to get to. Parking is available within Worcester but not very close to the store. I was taking my pregnant daughter who struggled with the distance. Once inside there was a large selection of items available. Her main interest was in newborn clothing. She was disappointed in the clothes for baby boys, saying that they were drab and boring. I'm not sure if larger Primark stores have a better range, but we did find what she wanted elsewhere within Worcester.
Andy R — Google review
BRING BACK THE HUMANS! Terrible experience with the self checkouts, and no option to go to a human cashier. This is not the future - and I work in technology for a living! Spacing is also horrendous, no room to get a pushchair around. So I stood aimlessly in the main aisles will my wife browsed the rest of the store alone. Won’t be returning, not that they’ll care. H&M down the road was a much nicer experience.
Ben B — Google review
Lots of clothes, lack of staff, seems to be advertising false prices though. More than the signs.
TheKaKaNow Y — Google review
Probably the most humiliating shopping experience of my life, was made to feel embarrassed infront of other customers. Paid for almost £100 worth of clothes via the self check out, popped my hangers in the recycling area for them and I think I dropped my recipt in the box. I couldn't find it. The lady told me I wasn't allowed to leave the shop until I scanned my recipt it, because the gate wouldn't open without it. I looked through all of my bags, to the point my bag was ripping and she kept saying I couldn't leave until I'd scanned it. She'd just watch me pay, it was obvious I hasn't stolen anything. Whilst you might have a policy in place, surely staff can some common sense that you can let a customer leave after you've seen them pay. Then when I tried to walk out the other side, she said I wasn't allowed and I had to go through, and that she wanted to look through my bag to find it. Absolutely humiliating, felt like I was being accused of being a thief when ive never stolen anything in my life. Then when I said that's ridiculous why can't I just walk around, she rolled her eyes as though I was asking for a kidney. Just ridiculous!!
Alice J — Google review
unsure why there is never any sizing past an L in this primark, i legitimately have more luck finding clothes in the charity shop?

Was rather busy but it was Saturday lunchtime, it's a lot bigger than my local Primark so took a while to find things .lots of staff the help also.

Situated at one of England's most picturesque sporting grounds, it offers a capacity of 5,500 and is known for its beautiful setting near the River Severn and Worcester and Birmingham Canal.
Revision of original review. What a turnaround, fantastic view from the terrace. A great selection of food including pasta salads and quiche. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Good selection of beers and wine. Overall fantastic evening of cricket and company. Thanks for changing my mind.
David B — Google review
I had the pleasure of visiting Worcestershire County Cricket Club’s ground, New Road, for the One Day Cup match against Gloucestershire, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable cricket outings I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed, with a great mix of passionate fans and friendly staff who were more than happy to help with directions and general queries. The ground itself is in a beautiful setting, right by the River Severn, which gives New Road a uniquely picturesque backdrop. On a sunny day, like the one I was fortunate enough to experience, it really comes into its own. The weather was perfect from start to finish, with clear skies and warmth that made the cricket even more enjoyable to watch. Sitting in the stands with the sun shining and the river flowing nearby made for a brilliant sporting environment. In terms of facilities, I was very impressed. The food and drink options were excellent, and I particularly enjoyed a delicious burger from The Original Burger Company – one of the tastiest I’ve had at any sporting venue. To top it off, I cooled down with some ice cream later in the afternoon, which felt just right on such a warm, sunny day. Prices were fair, and the queues moved quickly, which always makes a difference at busy events. The sense of community at New Road stood out as well. Both home and visiting supporters mixed in good spirits, creating a friendly atmosphere throughout the day. That welcoming vibe, combined with the quality of cricket on show, made the whole experience feel special. All in all, New Road is a charming and thoroughly enjoyable cricket ground, and I’ll definitely be looking forward to visiting again.

Always enjoyable at New Road for County Cricket. Great you can take your dogs and a new plus is the new bar on the boundary.
Chris S — Google review
The ground used to be very pretty, but the modern stands are really ugly. Nevertheless, there are still great views of the cathedral and the entrance to the ground, through the complex which includes the Premier Inn, is rather classy. The beer selection wasn't what I'm used to at the Oval, but there are some really good pubs 400 yards away, once you walk back over the Severn bridge. I hope to come back in a future season.

Art museum
Located in a Victorian-era brick building, Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum offers a diverse range of exhibits and activities. The museum's permanent displays showcase the history of Worcester through local artifacts and stories. One notable exhibit is 'Fifty Objects Fifty Stories,' curated by Garston Philipps, featuring intriguing items like a large porcelain candelabra and a cow hair ball.
I had a great time looking around this museum and gallery on a sunny day in this lovely city. Granted there were maintenance works taking place at the time of my visit but this was OK. Places obviously need a bit of work doing from time to time so I was just happy they were open in the meantime, even if there was less to see than usual. There's an extensive exhibition on the military history of Worcester and how this has evolved over time. I also enjoyed seeing the works of Henry Harris Lines. Well worth visiting!

Charming museum near Worcester train station. The museum building itself is a superb example of British masonry. Although the selection is small it is well kept and enjoyable. A small arms selection really makes the visit worth it. Within the museum is also a bright cafe with spacious seating. Decently recommended for a short visit.
CityStrider — Google review
I’m a bit unsure how to start my review, there were some areas of the museum that I really enjoyed, mostly the taxidermy animals, and the Worcester Pictures, as well as the coin collection that was found in 2019. I was happy to have a look in the first and second rooms, there was also a regiment section, although not of interest in much detail for me, it was very informative and seemed well laid out. Unfortunately, the Art Gallery appeared closed, which was disappointing for me. I had a look in the giftshop and although there didn’t seem to be a lot of choice, the magnets and bookmarks I found slightly disappointing as they didn’t say Worcester Museum on them, but were of I assume a picture in the Art Gallery which I had not seen. I will be doing a return visit to see if this was a one off, and hopefully I will try and look at an exhibition next time. On the upside, free entry, a lovely little café and loved to see Albert the Albatross again. Haven't been in this building since I did work experience in what would have been the old library. My trip lasted 20 minutes.

Currently includes a 1990s exhibition: music, movies, technology, cultural icons. Warning though - it may make you feel very old! Lots more to see though, including the strikingly colourful art of Jilly Oxlade-Arnott. My visit was worth it for this artist's work alone

A free museum, let's have a look. What a great museum, very informative , organised and well kept. A 90s exhibition is on till September, there you have to pay but it's only £2.50. My friend didn't want to see it so I'll be back with my family it looks fun. I read about their café being worth a visit, it sure was. Toasted teacake with bacon? Why not, yes please, yummmmmmm

Free entry. It is a very interesting museum covering many subjects through exhibitions. Will you like it? I believe it has something for all the family. It is well worth the visit. Access for disability, toilets, and a lovely cafe. Many stories come alive in this museum. It is quite stirring. Really enjoyed it. It is close to the town centre.

Had a wonderful morning. The artwork on show was lovely but I was very impressed with the information that had been put together to narrate each piece. It brought the artwork alive and helped to link it all together in a story that added depth to the exhibition. I had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

ASK Italian is a contemporary Italian restaurant chain that offers an array of dishes including long, stone-baked pizzas, classic pasta options, and other entrees. Visitors have praised the establishment for its exceptional service and delectable food. The restaurant provides a modern yet comfortable dining space suitable for intimate meals or large gatherings. Guests can enjoy the view of the kitchen where their meals are carefully prepared. The staff is known for being friendly and attentive to customers' needs.
Popped in at my daughter’s request as a treat for her 11th birthday. We were immediately seated without having booked. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. The food was well presented and tasty. Will definitely return.

Visited with my Sister on our day out in Worcester. We were seated immediately even though we hadn't booked. As we sat we were given a free glass of homemade pink lemonade. Lovely atmosphere and helpful staff. Plenty of choice on the menu. The food was very good and cooked from fresh. If you like Italian it's the place to go.
Claire C — Google review
Enjoyed a delicious lunch last Saturday with the family. Server Lee was so friendly, welcoming and attentive. This is my second visit and both times we were greeted with a sample of their traditional lemonade - last time I enjoyed Sicilian lemon and this time it was raspberry. Both really delicious and refreshing palette cleansers. My son and I liked the raspberry so much we ordered one each to drink. We ordered a selection of food to share including chicken and pepper pizza and a spaghetti carbonara. The pizza was lovely with tasty shreds of chicken and bursts of tangy flavour in little pops of pepper. The carbonara had large crispy slices of prosciutto, the saltiness cutting nicely through the creaminess of the pasta. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside with lovely festoon lighting and modern decor. We will return!
Demelsa C — Google review
We visited ASK Italian in Worcester on a Friday evening and, unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. Despite the restaurant being only around 50% occupied, we encountered significant delays — waiting almost 40 minutes for two starters, followed by a further 35 minutes for the main courses. During this time, no checkbacks were made, and we were not advised of any expected wait, which added to the frustration. When the main courses eventually arrived, both calzones were underwhelming. The Mushroom and Truffle Calzone was noticeably undercooked, with thick dough that hadn’t fully baked through. More concerning was the presence of olives and the absence of spinach, which was not stated on the menu. For those with food allergies, this could pose a serious risk. The second calzone was also undercooked and arrived flat, suggesting that the kitchen was possibly rushing through orders. A checkback only took place once our plates were cleared. At this point, I requested to speak with a manager. To his credit, the manager was genuinely apologetic, acknowledged the service and food issues, and explained that the calzone I was served was the takeaway version, which contained olives. He also advised that a new kitchen team was in place. As a gesture of goodwill, our bill was fully taken care of, and we were invited to return in a few weeks for a hopefully improved experience. While the manager’s approach was appreciated and handled well, the evening had already been spoiled — especially after a half-hour drive for what was meant to be a celebratory meal. Throughout our visit, it was noticeable that delivery orders appeared to be prioritised over in-house diners, with drivers arriving frequently and collecting food more consistently than meals were served to tables. Meanwhile, diners, including ourselves, experienced long waits without updates or apologies. Staffing appeared to be limited, and tables were left dirty for extended periods — one booth near the window remained cluttered with used glasses and plates for over an hour. The restaurant itself had a lovely decor and a promising antmosphere, but unfortunately, both the food quality and service during this visit did not meet expectations.

I'd never visited any branch of ASK before, but if they're all like this one, I will be going more often. Visited for a late lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon. We had pre-booked to sit indoors, and I was happy with that because although the outside area looked lovely with a beautiful view of the cathedral, there were some shady looking seagulls lurking nearby! Inside had a clean, nicely decorated vibe going on, and more importantly on that day, a nicely regulated temperature. We were served at different times by 3 members of staff, two ladies and a gentleman, who were all very welcoming and friendly. We were greeted with shots of their own craft Lemonade which was so lovely and refreshing, my wife and kids ordered more. I went for a large glass of Marlborough NZ Sauvignon Blanc off the wine list. I've really been into those this year, so I was surprised when this one turned out to be the best I've had. We decided to go for a pasta course each, and a Burrata & Slow-Roasted Tomato Prima Pizza to share. My main was the Burrata & Pancetta Carbonara. My family had the Pesto Stracciatella Tagliatelle, the Linguine Carbonara, and a Vegetarian Linguine Carbonara. What I had was good, but it definitely had that aura of a chain restaurant about it, where the Italian authenticity is lacking a little. The rest of the family all stated theirs was a little on the bland side, but we had a salt & pepper shaker to try and help with that. Back to the fantastic service. My wife had £80 of Tesco Clubcard rewards for part-payment of the bill. They'd been given to her across 9 vouchers. Our server was a lot more patient than I would be, happily putting them all through. All in all, we really enjoyed our visit, and a lot of that was down to the great staff.

Went here for Mothers Day and have been here before for previous occasions, wonderful staff and friendly too. Great menu options and way more choices then when I last came too and newer drink choices as well. Was expecting the Nduja to be spicy was very tolerant for me as someone with such a low spice tolerance. Decent prices for the proportions you got. I highly recommend in hot weather the ice cream which allows you to have 3 choices. I of course went for the Neapolitan selection except they didn’t do strawberry so I went for Cherry but I was surprised to find that the cherry flavour was very similar to a müller yoghurt and it was amazing! Would come again

We were with friends today! It was an incredible evening! There were not many people. It was my first time here. I don’t like many restaurants in Worcester, but here!!! it was beautiful and delicious! I love shrimp! I ordered two portions here for appetizers! They were amazing! Then we ordered Pollo e roquito pizza and it was delicious! We seasoned it all with prosecco! And to finish off my dessert I had Tiramisu with Ice Cream! It was incredible! I recommend it! The atmosphere of the place itself is very pleasant! It was a great evening! Sorry for my English!

The food was excellent. We shared the cold mixed mezzes, about 7 interesting tastes with a little green salad. I liked how they used cucumber slices between the different mezzes to keep them apart. The dips that they give you to start with flat bread were nice. We shared the sigara boregi and one chicken shish and it was plenty.

The Rioja was delightful also. We asked the house team to make a song and dance for my Mothers birthday which they did and it was a sight to see! Good fun and music. This is a excellent restaurant for food atmosphere and service a must try in Worcester!

Clearly a very popular place as it filled very quickly early evening on a Saturday. It's located in a modern shopping mall building which deprived it of an authentic appearance. However, the menu and quality of food was excellent.

Been here alot over the years. Never have I had a experience like this. Lamb shish was fatty and was told sorry but 1 outta 20 kebabs will be bad! Myself and my fiance had 2 normall bits of meat and 4 fatty pieces. They didnt care, wasnt bothered and just said sorry. This day and age it's expensive to go out for food that's not edible! AVOID!! Will never go there again.

Absolutely amazing place. The best food and service. Good value set meal, very filling and served in good time - unlimited salad served along side. Complimentary bread before the meal too. Highly recommended as this place is consistently 5 stars no matter when visiting!

Fine dining restaurant
Cafe Mela Indian Restaurant is a fine dining restaurant that offers an extensive menu of Indian cuisine. The restaurant has a delivery time of 45-60 minutes, but customers have reported waiting up to 2 hours for their food.
First time ordering from here, had a take away via just eat. Friendly service, had a beer whilst waiting (compulsory). As for the food it's was brilliant, hot and correct and nothing missed. Definitely found my new favourite Indian restaurant in Worcester 👌
Chris H — Google review
Ordered delivery it didn’t show up, called 3 times and was told it will be 5 minutes each time! I then spoke to someone who advised the driver had done another delivery further away first (so had our food in the car for 30-40 minutes by this time) so I asked for a fresh order… I was advised by the rude and arrogant staff that their restaurant is the best in Worcester and they have never had a complaint. I tried to explain the food was over an hour late but the member of staff was so awful, needs some customer service training to say the least! Will never order from here again. When the staff could have redeemed themselves, they made an already frustrated customer even more angry. Awful.

No matter food was good, but I experienced in my 5 th order today , the attitude was not polite. I wish to take away, as it takes some time, I thought to give a try to have some appetisers until then. Later I wish to dine in as well as take away. But owner denied and the behaviour was not acceptable. Without my consent he canceled my order and was not ready to talk for a minute too. Is this acceptable? May be as a customer I do have a choice and as a owner he too. But some politeness is expected. Food served with good attitude and love always be appreciated. ☹️

Ordered at 6.30, was told it would take an hour to arrive, 2 hours later no food, spent 25 minutes trying to get hold of the restaurant to then be told it was supposed to have already been delivered and that it would be with us in 10 minutes and that it was ‘busy’ (which is no excuse, if they had told us the food would take over 2 hours, I would’ve gone somewhere else) 30 minutes later still no food, unable to contact restaurant to cancel the order. Never have I ever experienced such shocking service before as I have tonight. Will never be using again.
Jak J — Google review
Did love this place for dinner in and takeaway but standards have slipped. I always thought the staff were fantastic but we have had a few takeaways that were 2 hours to deliver. I appreciate you have busy times but on a Saturday night we ordered then phoned up after an hour and were told it was on its way, two hours later it turned up tonight the same hashappened . I'm sad to say we will not be using you again and will try somewhere else

Loved it, spot on, they do a couple of courses as a deal, think u may have to book in advance to get the deal. With a few beers worked out £20 per head (inc a tip) as it was so nice worth every penny. It was a Sunday about 6.30 so not peak time.
Andy L — Google review
Food was tasty, and good service. We did have a large order, but there was still quite a wait considering it wasn't that busy besides us! But all the food came out together, warm and tasty. Staff were friendly and were joking with us.
Simon W — Google review
Ordered food last night, it never came. Called after an hour and a half, they said it would be here in 20 mins and no apology. After a 2 hour wait, my boyfriend went there and they lied saying it had already been delivered! Complete bull. They refused to refund and still no apology. I had to contact customer service and I should be getting my money back in a couple of days hopefully after all this hassle. Shocking service, will never order from here again.

Modern European restaurant
Browns is a beautiful, modern european restaurant with an extensive menu that includes fresh fish specialties. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is excellent. The food is very good, and the prices are reasonable.
We visited for a mid week break to celebrate our 59th Wedding Anniversary. Excellent staff, accommodation and food quality. Superb location, beautiful view of swans gliding along on the river outside. Met very generous family owners who helped us to celebrate!! Overall impression is of a very friendly ambience at this hotel, young staff very smartly dressed and courteous. Will definitely return.

Lovely room and very comfortable, great customer service, they really want your stay to be great. Very helpful about disability access which required their portable ramp at the front door but they are keen to help any time. Delicious breakfast and dinner. It was quiet overnight despite being on town centre on a Friday.

Just had a great Tuesday evening meal here. It happens to be 50% off all the a-la-carte menu. We stared with 2 glasses of “Browns Champagne” Then had Chateaubriand for 2 followed by a selection of small taster deserts. The food was excellent and the service was excellent too. So we left very happy and would highly recommend it to everyone

A difficult review to write. Location and staff were amazing, but if you like to sleep with the windows open, there is too much noise from the restaurant (seating is also outside) downstairs. There was no air con in the rooms, so it was difficult to sleep without having the windows open. I would recommend staying here in the cooler months.

We had a very nice overnight stay here. The room was very good and had an excellent view overlooking the river. The service and breakfast in the morning were excellent, I recommend having the starter and main for breakfast! The only small point I would make was that we stayed on a Sunday evening and there is no food service after 4 or 4.30 pm and the bar was closed by 7.45pm which we hadn't realised when booking. This did not spoil our stay because the information book in our room guided us towards good places to eat and drink, which were not too far away. I would recommend staying here, and the river walk is a must.

Booked for my father in laws 85th birthday, superb 3 course meal. Every element was delicious . The service was excellent, the young team of waiters/waitresses were so attentive and polite. It was one of the nicest dining experiences I have had. Looking forward to a future visit. Many thanks to all at Browns 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻

This was our second visit at Browns at the quay. We didn't think they could top last time but they surpassed themselves. We were given the penthouse apartment with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, lounge and kitchen! The evening meal was stunning and the breakfast amazing as usual, with plenty of choice. The staff here are so accomodating, warm and friendly. The main man who greeted us was so lovely and upgraded us to the penthouse suite, we didn't get his name. Our waiter last night was a lovely young man and this morning our beautiful breakfast was served by the lovely Jodie. One of the nicest waitresses we have ever come across, going above and beyond. We would recommend this amazing place to anyone who likes the nicer things in life.

Beautiful spot right by the river and very polite, friendly and professional team looking after you but the food let it down. Had lunch here today and ordered cod gougon sandwich (a posh fish finger sandwich supposedly) - sadly it was almost all batter and barely any fish. What fish was in the batter was dry and over cooked. Disappointing as this place usually has a good reputation. Did mention it to the waitress and she did apologised but a quick check on how our meals were half way through may have prevented this review as they might have been able to do something about it - a massive flatbread filled with batter was not really what I had in mind. Cocktails were pretty good (had one each) but yeah… need to make a lot more effort on the food and maybe check your guests are happy with what they have received: my plate went back almost as full as it arrived. Disappointing.

Parks
Worcester Woods Country Park is a fantastic destination for nature lovers and families. It offers a range of amenities including a visitor centre, cafe, play area, walking trails, and picnic spots. The park is easily accessible by car or public transport and provides free parking. Visitors can enjoy various walking routes through ancient woodlands and meadows adorned with wildflowers. Additionally, the park connects to the Worcester Riverside Walk along the Severn, providing an opportunity for a scenic stroll from Worcester Cathedral.
Car park is big enough to park fairly easily in the week, and it's free as long as you are using the Country Park or the Cafe. There is a clear warning at the entrance it's not for Council or Hospital users. They are using ANPR to enforce. This place is a fantastic place to walk your dog, but a caveat if have a canine reactive dog... you should be aware that there are some dog owners who have no recall of their off lead dogs and they will end up coming into your dogs space. This becomes a problem with "pinch points" like kissing gates or narrow footpaths, but once you get into the open spaces, it's much more manageable to keep out of their way. There are dog poo bins around, but are few and far between, which is understandable. There is a cafe near the car park, but I didn't use it, but they allow dogs and inside and outside, but dogs inside need to be quiet and well behaved.

Really nice park with lots of open space. The parking is free too which is a bonus. There is a kids play area and some inflatables too. Lovely dog friendly cafe. We didn't go inside we ordered outside and sat at the picnic tables. It's a great place to wander in all weather's. The woods are quite sheltered and there are meadows and fields to.

Yaran L — Google review
Great place for a walk, loads of space, lots of walking routes so easy to avoid people if that's what you want. Car park is big with lots of spaces, if parking on a weekday morning they check you are there to use the woods and not parking there to commute but the car parking is free. Also have a cafe and toilets.

A flying first visit, but such a gem to have this on the doorstep. Cafe looked lovely with fabulous selection of cake, other foods and drinks. The park area is great, very spacious. Plenty of space for a picnic and lots of benches. Great open space to take a football or rounders set. Also fantastic that the car park is free.

A great place to stop off on a long journey - especially with dogs. Had a lovely sandwich and drink. Dogs were welcome in the cafe which is a huge bonus and staff were friendly and helpful. A nice place for us and the dogs to stretch our legs in the woods - just a shame it was pouring with rain!

Sixways Stadium is a top-notch venue for sports enthusiasts, especially rugby fans. The Worcester Warriors rugby team's season fixtures run from September to June, offering an exciting lineup of matches. The stadium boasts excellent facilities and a vibrant atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for families and first-time rugby spectators. Additionally, the stadium is not only known for its sporting events but also serves as a great location for conferences with inclusive amenities such as tea, coffee, buffet lunch, and onsite tech support.
Great facilities at the sixways stadium including plenty of on site parking, staff were very helpful and friendly We came to watch the British Police v the Royal Navy rugby match and although the ground was only partly open plenty of staff on to help. Bars were busy but service was efficient and prices reasonable. Food was good and service as well. Hoping that the ground will be fully open and utilised again once they get the team black playing here

We went to the U18 finals at Sixways Stadium between Leicester Tigers &London Irish, the ground and facilities are really first class. We were treated to a really competitive game where fortunes fluctuated continually between the two teams, resulting in the match finishing all square at full time and the trophy being shared, which we felt was a fair result.

Went to watch the first game.e back of Worcester Warriors. Its a great stadium and they had some great food stalls, however they had highly underestimated the staff and bars needed to serve 10,500 fans. We waited over 45 mins in a queue to by a round of drinks and ended up missing the start of the match. Food options were excellent and views were good but really let down by not being able to buy drinks effectively. Hopefully moving forward they can cater for the demand like other grounds do

Heritage building
The Commandery is a fascinating war museum located in the grand 15th-century timber-framed building that served as Charles II's headquarters during the Battle of Worcester in 1651. Originally constructed in 1085 and later restored, this historic site offers vivid reconstructions of six selected periods of the city's history. The building has seen power struggles, war, wealth, and romance unfold within its walls over the centuries.
During a very cultural day spent in Worcester (see my other reviews for the cathedral and gallery) I made this my third dose of history. I was really surprised at the scale of this museum. Entering from the main road I thought it would be a compact place but no, it's a big'un! Give yourself around 90 minutes to two hours at least to make your way around here to get the best experience. My advice would also be to listen carefully when you're advised on the best route to take and to use the plan provided. Maybe it was down to me not paying close enough attention to either of these or simply because I'm a bit of a prat but I did get lost and ended up doing a few laps. On the plus side I got more of an opportunity to take everything in (including a death mask; keep a lookout for that). One of the rooms in particular is allegedly haunted but as I stood alone there, with my eyes closed, the only sounds and feelings were my rumbling stomach (I was a tad hungry by this point). Never mind. Lots to learn and experience here. The historical trail you follow - at least twice in my case - is very interesting. It's a brilliant museum and I thoroughly recommend it.
Jake C — Google review
The Commandery in Worcester is a site of profound historical significance. Notably, it served as the Royalist headquarters during the decisive Battle of Worcester, in 1651, the final clash of the English Civil War. This rich history is palpable as you explore the building's ancient, uneven, and rarely square, halls and rooms. The £9 entry fee is reasonable, considering the depth of history on offer. However, the experience could be enhanced with more engaging and interactive elements. The current use of digital technology is limited, which may be due to funding constraints. Incorporating more interactive displays or multimedia presentations could bring the stories of The Commandery to life more vividly. The gardens, while offering a peaceful retreat, appear to be in need some attention. Regular maintenance and perhaps some interpretive signage could transform them into a more integral part of the visitor experience, I think. The absence of a substantial gift shop is noticeable. A better-stocked shop with souvenirs and educational materials could enhance the visit and provide additional support for the site's upkeep. I think also, that this should be relocated from the 'behind the counter' offering at the entrance to the exit - since people are more inclined to part with their money for souvenirs only if they've had a good time on the tour and definitely not immediately before. The on-site café, though cozy, has a limited menu. I imagine summertimes here must be chaotic. Expanding the offerings and the space, could make it a more appealing spot for visitors to relax and reflect on their tour. The unique location, next to a narrow boat canal and charming lanes, speaks volumes to the potential. Look, the Commandery offers a valuable glimpse into a pivotal chapter of English history. One that resonates even today, since it pitted countryman against countryman. With some enhancements in interactivity, garden maintenance, retail options, and café services, it has the potential to provide an even more enriching experience for old and young. So, if you're in the area, why not stop by for a spell - it was good enough for both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, it surely has to be good enough for you. No doubt you will warmly welcomed, as were they. More importantly, your visit will help fill the coffers and keep this treasure about, for generations to come.
Clay J — Google review
Fascinating and very spooky this museum is perfect for a soggy summer morning and it's really easy to get a feel for the different eras of the building. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the curation is easy to understand and sympathetic. The garden is lovely and the café is great too. My camera started taking pictures on its own in one room. What fun.
Lighthouse C — Google review
Fascinating because this ancient building has been used in so many ways down the centuries, and you get a glimpse of each. Medieval hospital with paintings of saints who might help your illness, though how poor Thomas Becket could help after having his brain hacked open I don't know. Huge beautiful medieval Hall, merchant domestic dwellings, lots about the English Civil War, and a journey made by the first two presidents of America to visit the home of Freedom from tyranny!! Eg Charles 1 having his head cut off. Is there a theme here?! Georgian rooms with costumes. There was later a Victorian school for the blind, and in recent times, a print works. Lots to see, quite a confusing site, but staff are helpful. Pretty gardens and nice little cafe by the river. Paid entrance, but we thought our money was well spent. Good for kids. Ask staff if you have a wheelchair or mobility difficulties - they can help you avoid the cobbles!
Catherine M — Google review
A fascinating walk through time over several hundred years. Focused on the English Civil War, as it was the Royalist HQ for their last stand, but the Commandery is much more than that. Highly recommended
Nick N — Google review
If you are a history enthusiast, a fan of model villages, just out for a stroll or curious to know about things then The Commandery will have everything to delight you, apart from a model village. You can't park right outside unless you go there by boat but you can park nearby, sometimes. I went there on a school trip once and I thought it was quite good. Plenty of old pictures and wooden stuff. The only things I would change are, I'd have a rollercoaster and a haunted house there. I guarantee greater visitor numbers. A model village wouldnt do any harm. Or even a maze, like they have at Warwick Castle. I'd also change the tribute on either side of Sidbury Bridge. I appreciate that "they" say that the Victor writes the history but what they have is Parliamentary infantry on both sides of the bridge. Casual tourists and more serious tourists could be forgiven for thinking "So...did the Roundheads, fight the Roundheads at the battle of Worcester"? Honestly, I wasn't actually there at the time but I have it on good authority that the Roundheads actually fought against the Loyalists. It seems absurd that the soldiers loyal to King Charles 2nd (Team Worcester) aren't actually represented in the tribute. So yeah, it's worth a visit. totally but throw in a rollercoaster, a log flume, a haunted house, a maze and a model village and the crowds will flock to the Commandery. Oh, also don't forget to add some Loyalist soldiers. I had an idea. In quiter periods, to encourage visitors, you could get the staff to wander around Worcester singing the following tune, (To the tune of Karma Chameleon by Culture Club) Comma comma comma comma comma Commandery.... It's in Sidbury It's in Sidbury If only if only they had a maze Then it'd make your day And be really ace Well worth a gaze They got some they've got some really really old stuff And more old stuff From when times were tough You can go there on a Monday, a Tuesday and Wednesday too I went there with my school and time just flew, time just flew It's open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday too If you don't go, then you'll feel blue It might even be open on Sunday and bank holiday But not Christmas Day To my dismay Comma comma comma comma comma Commandery Oliver Cromwell came and he was very unkind King Charles hid in a tree and Cromwell couldn't find him until Autumn when the leaves fell down He made us frown when he took his crown Ooooh Comma comma comma comma comma Commandery It's where soldiers were based No time to waste So pack your case And make some haste

The building alone is amazing, did a paranormal investigation, a massive thank you, to the two ladies who are staff and stayed with us till the very late/early finish, apologies I've forgot your names, but we appreciate you and your time. Interested in the paranormal or history, go check out this place, its a must see if you visit Worcester 🙏🌞

This museum could have been better in several ways. Lights are not enough for spesific items. You don’t know which way to go, some signs are needed in each room to direct you to the right direction. In museum shop they can have more option to sell. The museum is a bit messy and things could have been tidied and been displayed much better. We came from another city, there has not been tourists around. Seems like local people go to enjoy some time. Also I parked my car in the car park as the map took me there and there was not any warning sign that we were not allowed to park. The receptionist told me when I asked her. So I had to go out, and find parking in some paid car park.

Fort Royal Park, located in Worcester, England, is a picturesque green space that provides breathtaking panoramic vistas and a tranquil ambiance. It boasts historical significance as the site of the Battle of Worcester, the final clash of the English Civil War. Visitors can explore the Civil War Memorial and Commandery Museum while enjoying outdoor activities such as birdwatching and utilizing playgrounds and fitness trails. The park also features new totem-style signs offering information on walking and cycling routes, local history, and wildlife.
This is one of the best and loveliest places to walk and get a great view of Worcester (city particularly) and surrounding areas. It's a bit steep in places, with steps and tarmac slopes to facilitate your perambulations up and down the slopes. It's also a great place to reflect on the history of Worcester whilst walking the dog or just simply strolling for exercise. There's a brilliant set of climbing frames and other children's playtime activities for a range of ages, and plenty of places to sit and soak up the views. The gardens are very clean and loaded with a large variety of trees, shrubs and plants. Wonderful on a sunny day, whatever the season.

Fort Royal Park is a nice, small park that's definitely worth visiting. Don't expect too much in terms of size, but what it lacks in scale, it makes up for in charm. The park features an area for kids to play and offers stunning views of Worcester, including the beautiful Worcester Cathedral. The park itself holds significant historical value, being the site of the 1651 Battle of Worcester. Overall, Fort Royal Park provides a serene environment perfect for relaxation and taking in the views.

Probably the best place to get photos of Worcester with its cathedral. Good play area. Steep hills. Historical information boards relating to Battle of Worcester in 1651.

Great views over Worcester and across to the Malvern Hills. A fine selection of paths, trees, flowers and grass. Generally very clean and tidy. Its location on a steep hillside may not suit those with mobility issues or residents of the Netherlands/Texas, and it also contributes to the high risk of personal injury when sledging in the winter snow. If you feel an urgent need for alcohol I would recommend JB Wines just up London Road but you will be breaking the law if you drink it in the park, so don't do it. Especially not in the excellent children's adventure playground that is situated near the lower entrance.

Brilliant day out for the balloon festival, there was plenty of parking available in the town and at the racecourse, lots to see and do with plenty of all round entertainment for all age groups, lots of areas to sit and have a picnic, there was also plenty of variation in food stalls. Drinks available including hot, cold and alcohol. Lots of portaloos which were kept meticulously clean all throughout the day and night. Unfortunately due to high winds the balloons weren't able to tether up and display or fly, but they still set up the baskets and some allowed people to actually go into the baskets and set the burners off themselves, then they set the burners off to music this was followed by a brilliant fireworks display which lit up the night sky to finish off a perfect end to a great day. We will be back next year and hopefully get to see the balloons take to the skies.

First visit to Worcester racecourse. The evening meeting was good fun, each race was tight. Good to get close to the action. A good night at £16 per head. It's really easy to park and was free. Food stalls are fairly priced and food was very nice. Will be visiting again in the future. 🐎

We went there for the Hot air Baloon festival, so I have little idea about the racecourse as such. Questioning whether an hour's drive for overpriced fish and chips was worth it , we snaked along the loop to the ample parking. It was a nice sunny day and kids enjoyed some of the rides. We enjoyed the battle reenactment, the bike and buggy stunt shows. The hot air balloon kept being pushed forward due to strong winds, fortunately the winds reduded very late and pilots were able to get off some of the baloons. At night they set off the baloons glow which can be seen below. Were the prices high - yes. Was it worth it - yes.

Pub
The King’s Head Worcester is an elegant pub located near the historic Worcester Commandery, offering a modern British menu with Mediterranean influences. With an eatery, bar, beer garden, and private hire rooms, it's a local favorite for its great drinks and fantastic food. Following renovations by new owners, the venue now boasts a cozy and comfortable atmosphere with delicious food served daily. The pub menu offers a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, featuring delectable dishes like triple cooked chips.
Absolutely cracking pub, we came down to watch a friend's band and was pleasantly surprised that there was a chippy Friday deal going on. It's not the cheapest but it is well worth every penny the fish has to be about 1.5/2ft long and the chips are amazing. Also the curry sauce and tartar sauce are next level definitely a must do one Friday evening.

I recently visited The Kings Head in Worcester for a Sunday dinner with a friend. The staff were incredibly polite and pleasant, which set a positive tone for the visit. However, there were a few things that could have been improved. Firstly, they didn't ask about any allergies, which felt like an oversight, especially when serving a traditional Sunday roast. When the meal arrived, the carrots were a bit too salty for my taste. The beef was quite fatty, and despite being told it would come out pink, it wasn't quite as pink as expected. Additionally, I prefer my gravy on the side, but it was already poured over the dinner. I also wasn’t offered any condiments, such as salt, pepper, or sauces, which felt like a missed opportunity for better seasoning. That being said, the meal overall was nice. The greens were particularly good, and the Yorkshire pudding was lovely. I enjoyed the food, and I ate all of it. However, I did feel that the £25 price tag for two courses, when you couldn’t just order a single Sunday dinner, was a bit steep. It would have been nice to have the option of just the roast without paying for a starter or dessert. A small issue I noticed was the state of the toilets. There were cobwebs on the light shades, and the hand dryer didn’t work, which is a real pet peeve of mine. There were no paper towels available either, so I had to use toilet roll to dry my hands. Overall, it was a pleasant afternoon, but there are definitely areas that could be improved, particularly regarding the pricing structure, condiments, and bathroom facilities.

After a walk along the canal, we've spotted this perfect spot and quite happy about the fact. Fantastic food, great music selection and the right beers on tap. I can highly recommend to all.

The new owners have excelled themselves in every way. The inside and outside is now completely renovated which makes it very cosy and comfortable with a relaxed vibe; food is now served every day from 1200-2030 with a roast on Sundays. The food is absolutely great; a pub menu that makes you want to try everything with the right mixture of tradition and modernity, executed perfectly. The triple cooked chips are delicious. By far the best chips in the local area; we had these with our fresh haddock, curry sauce, and mushy peas - all of which was tasty, not greasy and left you very satisfied. 11/10 We also tried the shin of beef pie with mashed potatoes. This too was a triumph. A real pie, not just a dish of brown mess with some cheap pasty on the top. This pie has flavour, was full of tender meat and the pastry wasn't greasy or too rich as can sometimes be the case! 10/10 For a starter we had the gorgonzola croquettes with pickled walnuts. Lovely texture, delightfully salty, sweet, sour and with plenty of umami. 8/10 All in all, I can't wait to go back and try the other dishes on their small but well thought out menu. The prices are reasonable for the quality and the portion size certainly makes food here a good deal. £3.5-7 a starter, £11-15 for a normal main. The aged steaks are more expensive. The service is relaxed and friendly and the wait time for food was not long. Total cost for our meal (1 starter and 2 mains with 2 drinks) £40. We have eaten at so many pubs in central Worcester and none of them come anywhere close to here. Thank you so much for the great food. I'll be back very soon to try the other tempting dishes you have on your menu! If I were to change a couple of things it would be; improve your drinks selection - more interesting local beers and a better selection of wine. Your food is so good it deserves a fitting beverage! :)

Great pub with friendly staff. Lovely beer garden next to the canal. Funky entertainment area with live music and sports. I can't comment on the food as I haven't tried the menu. I mentioned to the landlord that the hand drier in the ladies wasn't working and this has now been replaced. Good beer, good atmosphere. 5 stars!

A Perfect Sunday Roast at The King’s Head, Worcester I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying a fantastic Sunday roast at The King’s Head in Worcester, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and served by Lucy, who was an absolute delight—friendly, attentive, and always smiling. The roast itself was perfection: tender, flavorful meat, crispy-yet-fluffy roast potatoes, rich gravy, and all the classic trimmings done just right. Every bite was a treat, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into the food here. If you’re looking for a top-tier Sunday roast in Worcester, The King’s Head is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!

Some of the best Thai food I’ve had, easily the best coconut rice. Good quick service, nice decor, comfortable restaurant. The drinks selection is okay but would be nice to see more authentic soft drinks like Thai iced tea, bubble tea, lychee and mango juice.

Lovely friendly welcome and through our meal the staff serving were very attentive. The decor and music is very authentic which a lovely atmosphere in which to eat the lovely food. All the food was great but the highlights of the meal for us were the sweetcorn cakes and caramelised tamarind crispy duck both absolutely wonderful. We were very grateful for the complimentary sticky chicken they brought us this was a thoughtful touch. We will definitely return.

We had Tom Yam, Poh Pia Goong, Mussaman Beef Curry & Green Beef Curry, all delicious combined with very good service. This was recommended to us while we were out & about in Worcester so we walked on over about 6:30 (on a Thursday ) and were shown to a table straight away. We were the only ones there at that time but 30 minutes later it was looking pretty full so may be worth booking if you really want to go there. Would definitely recommend and also go again next time we’re in Worcester.

British restaurant
Ostlers At Number 1 is a charming restaurant located in Worcester, offering a relaxed atmosphere and delightful seasonal British cuisine. Under the ownership of Ben Nelsey and head chef Richard Deim since 2014, the restaurant has undergone a remarkable transformation. The menu features locally sourced ingredients, with delectable dishes such as duck liver pate, Herefordshire blade of beef, and sticky spice apple cake. The wine list is carefully curated to complement the culinary offerings.
Everything was superb! The swordfish was grilled to a perfect medium rare and flavorful. In the risotto the mushrooms stole show in the best way possible. The cod and chicken were very good as well. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Outstanding food and service. It’s been a good year and a half since we’ve visited Ostlers but it was amazing - we asked for the food to be timed longer than usual so we could stretch the evening out and although this was probably an annoying request, they did do it for us and everything was still 10/10. Highly recommend for a romantic dinner.

It was our first time visiting Ostlers and it did not disappoint. A lovely touch for the personalised table reservation & the staff were friendly. Beautiful restaurant. It's quite small and very cosy but it's absolutely amazing. The staff are very friendly and courteous. They'll make you feel right at home. And the food is just amazing. We had mussels and soft shell crab for starters and the portions were very generous and very flavorful. Between the starter and main, they brought us a pink grapefruit sorbet on the house which was a perfect little treat between the courses. For the mains we had pork belly and ribs which were equally as amazing as the starter with very generous portions. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Kentucky Fried Chicken, affectionately known as KFC, has been a culinary staple since 1952, celebrated for its iconic buckets of fried chicken and an array of delicious combo meals and sides. Whether you're craving crispy chicken wings or a hearty chicken burger, KFC offers something for everyone. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting one of their locations and was impressed by the outstanding customer service—despite using the drive-thru due to health precautions.
Great food, great service, all employees were smiling and eager to help. Emily was super nice and helpful and so was Kaitlin. Drive thru were amazing thank you so much . Thank you Emily for helping us on the kiosk as it’s a struggle for some and thank you Ethan for helping us with our food and bringing it to our table . This is one of the best experiences ever and it was finger licking good . The teamwork was exceptional . The order was all correct all items were accounted for .

Staff are nice and the actual restaurant seems clean. Food was hot and very good. BUT please clean the toilets they terrible. Sticky floor and the toilet seat is the worst I’ve ever seen or smelt, not good when toilets are close to the restaurant and the cooking area. They will say they check them regularly, this cannot be true. When I emailed KFC I gave them my receipt number name and membership number and then they asked for a picture of the receipt which I guess had been binned. I’m not after anything just want them to clean the toilets. Well the toilets still the same , not at all hygienic and a little worrying when the staff are using the toilets. Today I tried to order from the counter the young lady said the manager says we can’t except orders at the counter. Use the self service. Being an OAP I really prefer human contact to place my Order. Spoke with the manager he said have to use self service machine. When I said I don’t like them he said we can get someone to help. How belittling is that !!!! They were quiet with 4 staff standing around. I left the restaurant without food
Dennis L — Google review
Ordered via uber eats and clicked the wrong family box. Rang to see if they would change over as it was same price as only a boneless box to recipe chicken. Didn’t see it being a problem but obviously this is too much for the staff here as they weren’t happy to help and was just told to cancel order. Safe to say last time we use this KFC
Darren J — Google review
I ordered two boneless banquets for my daughter and friend ,at a cost of over £30 ,to celebrate exam results. When the food arrived via delivery we found the chips were missing. We phoned the store who informed us they couldn’t get these to us but gave us a code we could use for the chips in store. This is a waste of time as we couldn’t get to the store anyway, hence why we got a delivery. Thank you KFC for ruining what should have been a celebration. We won’t be using you again.
Nick P — Google review
Forgot a fair chunk of our order, bun lid, missing from one burger, tried calling Number from receipt and website, no reply, phone unanswered. How are you going to rectify a mistake if you don't answer the damp phone or put a number for the store? RIDICULOUS!! Poor service getting order wrong, ages to answer phone then only choice offered was to drive 25 mins back to store to replace only the missing items or email and wait for vouchers (maybe) to replace the meal at some stage in the future. Does not help hungry wife and kids when an issue takes so long to get resolved. ANSWER YOUR PHONES so you can sort out your mistakes
Stuart B — Google review
polite staff, speedy through drive thru food was hot & fast building inside is clear signage could be a bit clearer coming out of the toilets, as my friend automatically just turned left and nearly went into the kitchen hahaha

If you’re on a diet, this KFC is perfect — they’ll ‘help’ you cut calories by forgetting to give you all the chicken you paid for. Happened to me multiple times. Amazing consistency… in messing up orders.

Gheluvelt Park, located in Barbourne, Worcester, is a serene and picturesque WWI memorial park. It was established to honor the soldiers who lost their lives in the First World War. The park features a tranquil duck pond and a charming bandstand where weekend concerts and events take place. Visitors can also explore an old-fashioned grotto built into the rock face by William Morris in 1857.
Huge playground for kids. Good for morning walks. Clean and tidy place.

Went to see the new kapax bridge , in the park , the park grounds as of April were still under construction, but it's a lovely way to get from one side of Worcester to the other , the path near the river is still a rough foot path through the woods not suitable for wheelchairs, also likely to be very wet and muddy if it's raining or has been . , the park is one of the best equipped in Worcester tennis court ping pong table splash pad , normally an ice cream van if nice weather, parking can be a pain, soon to be a coffee shop , well worth a visit any age ww2 memorial is a must see just to understand how the art install lays out a very scary thought, enjoy.

Cripplegate Park is a picturesque city park in Worcester, England. It boasts a beautiful flower garden, tennis courts, and a playground for children. The park holds historical significance as it is situated on the site of the pivotal English Civil War 1651 Battle of Worcester. Cripplegate park is well equipped with lots of different areas. This is the play area designed for younger children and it was ok. All the equipment is working but it is showing signs of wear and very minor vandalism. There are the usual swings and slide plus a few extra bits (mini trampoline, a sea themed area with a boat).9 My main problem with the park is its proximity to the road, traffic is quite noisy.

Tudor House Museum in Worcester is a well-preserved 16th-century timber-framed building that offers an authentic look into the lives of residents during the Tudor period. The museum showcases the history of the city and its various uses over time, including as a weavers' compound, a tavern, and even a Victorian coffee house owned by Richard Cadbury. Visitors can explore hands-on exhibits and learn about Tudor weaving and brewing while enjoying a warm welcome and access to a coffee shop.
One of Worcester's hidden gems. Great little museum and free! Lovely coffee shop inside too.

A fascinating insight into the people who lived in the house through the centuries, and the history of the house itself (and it's not all good!). The museum is free to enter, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Allow about an hour or so to wander through the rooms. You might want to couple this visit with a visit to the National Trust's "Greyfriars House" along the road. Note that the "Tudor House" does shut for school parties to visit, so check their website before visiting.

Greyfriars House and Garden, a National Trust property since 1966, is a timbered medieval merchant's house located in Worcester. The Grade I listed building dates back to 1485 and was originally built for the High Bailiff of Worcester. The house features cantilevered half-timbering and delicate carvings on the gables, showcasing affluence from early Tudor times.
What a lovely gem in the middle of Worcester. If you don't want to do the tour of the house (which is very interesting trip in time) just going to the cafe and experiencing the garden is a lovely opportunity in itself.

We left pram downstairs and had baby in carrier as there is stairs to climb in the house.

Thai restaurant
The Thai Gallery is a relaxed establishment with an inviting and sophisticated ambiance, offering an extensive selection of traditional Thai cuisine. With a focus on using the best quality ingredients imported directly from Thailand, their experienced chefs deliver authentic flavors that are sure to satisfy any craving for fresh and delicious Thai food. Additionally, the menu boasts a wide range of vegetarian options to cater to various dietary preferences. Situated conveniently near Worcester Cathedral, this fabulous restaurant is known for its warm hospitality provided by the friendly manager.
They serve the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had — honestly, it’s right up there with what you’d find in Thailand. Every bite is packed with flavour, perfectly balanced, and cooked to perfection. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. The decor is beautiful too — lots of natural wood, with a cosy yet stylish feel that makes you want to linger. I also love their logo — it’s unique and really memorable, which adds to the charm of the place. Highly recommended!

Great accomodating staff, made it look so easy serving 14 of us with sharing starters and mains. Food was all very fresh and hot, veg was well cooked with a good bite, all meats were tender and probably the best king prawns I've had anywhere. Only lost a mark on the atmosphere as it was a quiet midweek night, but the decor and furniture is amazing, especially the carved reliefs.

Beautiful setting and atmosphere. The service is excellent. I had the chicken satay, chicken massuman and steamed rice and prawn crackers. Highly recommend every dish. The sweet chilli sauce is home made and tastes amazing. 5* across the board and will come back on my next visit.

The food was nice and the staff were attentive to care. I was baffled of the mark up on soft drinks a little pricey for what it’s worth. The venue was pretty which is located very well.

Wea had really nice experience. Delicious food, good atmosphere at reasonable prices. We completely enjoyed all the dishes ordered. Recommended

Great food but not if you’re in a hurry. Had a table book for 7:30 got there 5 minutes before but was then told our table wasn’t ready and then had to wait a further 25 minutes before we were seated. Orders taken and our main course took a further one and a half hours to arrive. Shocking! No apologies or sympathy from the staff and barely a thank you despite spending over £300. Like I said nice food but not worth the hassle.

Outstanding Thai food. I had no idea that The Thai Gallery had been hiding here for 22 years. I would totally recommend it. Their dishes are authentic and so flavoursome, great portion size and so delicious. The waitress was so friendly and accommodating - perfect really.

27 August 2021: We reserved a table here for our anniversary and TUTU was lovely, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It's been a long time since we had a Thai meal as our local Thai restaurant is all the way on the Welsh and England borders so coming here was special as we do love our Thai food and cuisine. The Thai Gallery restaurant has been run by the family for the last 2 decades and it shows, beautifully decorated inside and out and full of Thai art pieces, paintings and wall fabrics designs. We were sat at a cosy corner table and the service was good considering they were starting to get very busy and full. Our drinks were a large glass of the "850 Douro Tinto" Portuguese Red wine and a Singha bottle of beer then shortly followed by a pint of the Asahi Japanese craft lager...no real ale but I enjoyed the Asahi. For starters we had the "Khoong Tempura" prawns (#4) and the "See Klong Moo Yang spare ribs (#8). Both utterly delicious. For mains it was the "Phed Yang Ped Pak" duck (#31) and the "Geang Ped" rump of beef Thai red curry (#40)..We ordered a portion of "Ba Mi Plao" (#58) noodles to go with the duck and of course, a portion of the "Kao Neaow" (#62) Thai sticky rice to go with my Thai red curry...such gorgeous flavours and so deliciously tasty! The food was so good and beautifully presented, work of gastronomic art at it's best...well done chef/s. 10/10. We do recommend the Thai Gallery restaurant and even though it's not cheap, the food was very good and the staff were great too...especially TUTU. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely anniversary meal and evening. (I guess they forgot a celebratory drink or a rose at the table on our anniversary dinner...)

Barbecue restaurant
Hickory's in Worcester is a fantastic family-friendly restaurant located by the river Severn and Cripplegate Park. The venue offers a spacious outdoor area with themed booths named after different states, creating a fun and lively atmosphere. The menu features classic American cuisine with a wide variety of fried dishes, including crispy wings and flavorful pulled pork. While some items like the chips fell short, the fried chicken stood out for its crispy exterior and juicy interior.
My wife and I visited here on a Bank Holiday Monday. We were warmly greeted at the door and escorted to our table. Service was prompt and a drink order was taken. They arrived quickly and WOW…the Cream Soda is delicious!! Food was ordered shortly after and we were surprised at how quick the food came out. The food was outstanding! Everything was incredible. Literally every part of the meal was tasty. The food was amazing, but the highlight was the service (Shout out to Kamile!). Everyone was smiling, seemed happy to be there and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal. I would highly recommend a visit. We will be travelling back within a month and taking friends to enjoy the experience. Well done Hickory’s 👏🏻

Not the cheapest but well worth the treat. Free car parking, dog friendly and can honestly say what a great spot to eat, drink and relax with plenty of seating options inside or out. Our welcome was really warm from all and set the tone for our visit. Nicely decked out and some good offers too. Will definitely return when in the area even if its just for a drink or watch the sport but tbh it'll be hard to resist the food!

Not often I review a venue well....... been to a few hickory smoke houses but by far this is the best, we were a large booking however we had a great and swift service even with difficult customers 😅. Food was supper and service was fun. We had a great time and I already want to go back. Thank you to all the staff 👍

Best meal out I've had in a very long time. We had booked and were seated quickly on arrival. It was a nice touch to be given popcorn for nibbles and our drinks arrived quickly, too. My 0% alcohol cocktail was lovely. The menu was huge but we went with the recommendation of the Smokehouse Platter for 2 as it was our first time, and it had a little bit of everything. My goodness, when it arrived we were amazed at the huge platter that took up the width of the table. It truly was a feast, and all beautifully smoked/cooked, with tender meats, a huge sausage, ribs, barbecue sauces, not to mention the fries, pickles, etc. I have never had cornbread before and found it very sweet but interesting. My other half loved it, as he's been to the US and eaten at similar places there. Honestly, if it's anything like Hickory's Smokehouse then I really need to go there and experience the real thing! Just amazing, and I will be going back with other family members as soon as I can.

A lovely place to eat. The usual high standard of food you expect at Hickorys. Staff very helpful. It was a beautiful sunny day, so we sat outside for a drink. Spacious garden with wooden booths you can dine in. We chose to eat inside. The usual lively atmosphere and great music. Very enjoyable.

Booked a table for 8 of us and even though we were 15 minutes late, we phoned in advance and there were no issues at all. Food was really good, the staff are super friendly and service was top notch. Great selection of food considering it's a smokehouse. You don't have to have ribs or brisket. They offer other foods such as mac and cheese and burgers for example. Prices are actually very reasonable for what they are. It's good quality food and 8 of us, a handful had desert also, along with the drinks was only around £200. It's obviously not fine dining but for about 25 quid a person, give or take, it's really good value.

Booked for 7:15 pm for our son's birthday treat after a day at alton towers, but due to traffic we were going to be late, I gave them a call and they adjusted our booking. As soon as we arrived we liked the look and atmosphere of the place. It was busy and buzzing. The staff and food were fantastic they even bought out a surprise for his birthday.it was awesome

All servers were very friendly and attentive. My partner is celiac and the manager was very reassuring and professional with being able to cater to him. I had also just landed a new job which my partner had let them know and they went out their way to suprise me with a free dessert at the end and congratulations. Very good food & portions. Cocktails are very good too!

Chinese takeaway
If you're on the hunt for a reliable Chinese takeaway, look no further than Happy Garden. This local gem has been delighting customers with its generous portion sizes and delicious flavors for years. Many loyal patrons rave about the munch box, which is a must-try! Despite some mixed reviews floating around, most visitors have found both the food and service to be consistently good.
I have ordered and had food from here regularly. Food is very tasty and hot and very generous portions. The munch box is highly recommended great place. Defiantly if you love Chinese this is the place recommended

Popped in on the way home, got ignored by two members of staff. One walked straight past me taking a box out to the delivery drivers. Like most places now customer service sucks and they just want to do deliveries. Even though they would make more money on collections. Another customer they have lost.

I previously rated this place with 4 Stars. Tonight the food was disgusting. The chicken balls were full of fat. I couldn't eat them. I don't enjoy giving poor reviews but the chef must have known the quality of food he/she was cooking. I'm saying no more, just take a look at the photos

Love the food. Never had any problem with what was ordered. However, when the telephone receptionist changed, she was very abrupt, repeated things too quickly so it was hard to actually understand. Hopefully the other one will be back at some point. The mark down on rating is only because this. Everything else is absolutely fine.

Morgan Motor Company Limited, located in Malvern, has been producing sports cars for over a century. Visitors can enjoy a factory tour and explore the on-site museum. For those who love driving, there's an option to hire a sports car for the weekend. The company also offers thrilling experiences like driving a Super 3 three-wheeler with a professional driver.
Witnessed the intricacies and the meticulous manner in which a hand built car is made right from the scratch in this facility. Morgan cars are not just about luxury, it is the legacy that one looks at while appreciating the beauty of these cars. That said, it is worth every bit, visiting here and see how these custom cars are built, they explain the rich history and the process it takes to build one car. It is really educational and exposes a person to a new perspective about cars and the auto industry as a whole. There is a small cafe and a souvenir shop to buy something for yourself or your loved ones. Overall, spend some time here, it will be really worth it.

The Morgan Motor Company offers a fantastic and fascinating tour of their production line, where they build four different models—including both three-wheel and four-wheel cars. One highlight is the limited-edition Midsummer, with only 50 being made, which was especially interesting to see in production. The tour also provides great insight into the company’s rich history. Our guide was excellent—highly recommended.

I doubt many prospective Morgan buyers will be reading this to decide whether or not to make a purchase — if you're considering a Morgan, you've likely already made up your mind. But for what it’s worth, having owned mine for over a year now — with both the initial 3-month check and the first anniversary service completed — I can honestly say the experience has far exceeded my expectations. I’ve previously owned a number of high-end marques, but none have delivered the level of customer service or overall ownership satisfaction that Morgan has. From build quality to communication, there’s a level of personal care and pride that simply doesn’t exist in most of the automotive world today. Owning a Morgan isn’t just about driving a unique car — it’s about being part of something truly special. Simon W

The Morgan factory tour was very interesting and informative. Being Saturday there was no one working which allowed us to wander beyond the normal safe trail and get a real close up look at all the various stages of build. It was thoroughly enjoyable and I would recommend a visit to anyone interested in the Morgan story.

The Play Centre is great for toddlers and their families. The activities are safe, and there are few people here so the kids can have plenty of space to run around. The prices are fair, and the staff are polite and helpful. It's great that they also offer discounts to members of local community groups.
We booked Cheeky Monkey’s summer party for our daughter’s 5 birthday party! It was excellent! Rich was brilliant and organised everything. We had exclusive use of the centre. BBQ style party food, that was fresh and delicious. The party room was really well decorated. The children absolutely loved the bubble disco after dinner. We can thank them enough, we didn’t have to lift a finger. Our daughter said it was the best party ever! We highly recommend the party package, great value for money and the staff were all brilliant! We would definitely book again!

We had our boy's birthday party here and we're delighted with it. There are dedicated areas for under 2's, under 5's, a sensory room, dj area with bubbles and foam canon and then there is the main soft play area which is very big. There is a separate area for the food tables which is nicely decorated and they always provide lots of good food. The main thing I love about this place is the staff. They couldn't be more helpful and welcoming, always smiling. It meant having a party for 30 children was no stress. Thank you

We love cheeky monekys. The staff are brilliant at their jobs and always lovely to the kids. The place is kept lovely and clean. I would also highly recommend having a birthday party at cheeky monkeys. The staff were absolutely amazing and I didn't need to take care of anything. They worked so hard to make it a perfect party for my twin boys. Thank you cheeky monkeys x

My daughter had a birthday party at Cheeky Monkey's recently. We were very happy with how it went. There was softplay and a disco, the children were very happy and had a lot of fun. I really recommend this venue. The staff were great and very helpful. The food and cake was very good and we loved the decorations in the party room. Strongly recommend.

We booked our daughter’s 6th birthday party at Cheeky Monkeys. Rich, Jess, Lily and Filipe were all so exceptionally friendly and helpful. The day was really hot, 30°! I had been quite worried the night before but I needn’t have been. They brought industrial fans out and gave the kids iced juices. Plus there was a constant disco going on in the background where Rich would round the kids up periodically and spray water at them which was fun and cooling for them! I like that there’s plenty of natural light and you can easily see the children playing. Good disabled access too. Great party, great memories, thank you Rich and the team.

We used Cheeky Monkeys for a birthday party utilising their new Summer BBQ and Cheeky Tiki Party. It was absolutely fantastic. Sole use of the soft play, an indoor BBQ, disco, water and bubble machines to cool everyone down, flower garlands and temporary tattoos which all the children loved. Nothing was too much trouble for staff, who took care of everything, even finishing off the party bags with the cakes for us as the weather was so hot so we had to leave it until last minute before putting them in! Cannot recommend it enough. Richard, Jessie and all the team were just so helpful with everything we needed. Despite the fact it was roasting hot, everything was done with a smile!

I came here today with my toddler and newborn and was surprised to be told I had to pay for them both. On arrival a young girl quoted me the price to which I simply responded “he’s a newborn, what does that price include for him?” “It’s his entry fee, would you like to speak to my manager?” Erm, ok… quite an aggressive approach and clearly that fee doesn’t get a newborn baby anything hence why she felt the need to respond like that. The manager came out and his explanation went a little something like this “well if you go down the road to Little Acorns soft play, you’d be paying even more” I wasn’t at Little Acorns… I was at Cheeky Monkeys and quite frankly don’t care what they’re charging. I simply wanted to know what the cost of a newborn baby included. Access to the sensory room at least?? Nope. He then proceeded to explain about having bills to pay… yeah, don’t we all, but please don’t burden your customers with that excuse. I completely understand smaller soft plays having to charge a small amount because of their limited capacity issues but cheeky monkeys is huge and can accommodate a lot more customers, there is no need to be so rude and rip off mothers by charging them just because your competitors are, at least have a decent enough reason as to why, or include a little something in that price even if it be a coffee voucher for the parent; a simple gesture with small monetary value. The overall vibe I got from the 2 members of staff I met within the 2 minutes I was there was disappointing to be honest, my mum was with me and even she was horrified by the carelessness. After reading other similar reviews on here: cue the rude reply from the manager……. edit: ***In response to your reply*** Hi, Thank you for your reply but you still haven’t answered my question as to what the price for a sleeping newborn baby includes? I think you’ll find your answer is simply “Nothing” Or as you put it; so that you can pay your bills. My initial and only concern is that I don’t think charging for babies under 6 months old (before they can even grasp a toy themselves) should be charged or if you have to charge, at least have some sort of facility for them to use. Anyway, in response to me finding somewhere cheaper within 20 miles of you, easy: Strawberry Field Wacky Warehouse -Just 16 miles from you -They charge £5.50 per child (they say 90 mins but you can stay longer) -FREE for babies under 12months (even though there is a smaller area they can use and play in) -Pay for 1 coffee (which is a couple of £) and you get unlimited top ups Plus they even offer a monthly membership for £14, unlimited use 👍

The Museum of Royal Worcester offers a captivating journey through the history of Worcester porcelain, showcasing galleries featuring Georgian and Victorian ceramics. The museum delves into the city's rich legacy of workmanship, encapsulating 250 years of history and highlighting the remarkable workforce behind Royal Worcester. Visitors can marvel at the exquisite creations crafted by skilled artisans, gain insights into industrial techniques, and learn about the factory community and renowned customers. The museum also sheds light on Worcester's porcelain industry origins in 1751 under Dr.
My arts society group visited in November. Our coach was able to park right outside and we were warmly greeted on arrival. After tea and biscuits we had an excellent talk by Colin Millett, a collector of Royal Worcester porcelain. He gave a brief history of the industry in Worcester and brought to life the characters and rivalries of those who worked there. We then took our time to visit the museum which was well laid out and illuminated the development of Royal Worcester porcelain. The displays were excellent and there were many beautiful pieces to be enjoyed. Personally I was never very interested in porcelain but came away with new insights and enthusiasm for the subject. I will definitely visit again and would recommend the museum for group and individual visits.

Had been meaning to visit this museum for a while and had the opportunity for a short visit on our way home. Well worth the stop. Things to consider - when you buy your ticket, make sure that you say that you’ll be coming back again as the ticket allows you to come back again, anytime within the year at no extra cost. The museum if over two floors and there’s a free audio tour. I would have given the museum five stars however I felt that the audio tour was quite confusing and the numbers were difficult to find. That said, it was well informed and there was lots to see and learn. All in all an excellent day out.

I really enjoyed visiting this museum, the staff members were wonderful and gave us some great ideas to explore. Definitely worth a visit and would certainly recommend going. 👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Malcolm P — Google review
I hadn’t realised just how stunning and complex porcelain could be until we visited the museum. Found the audio guide very useful, especially as one can pick and choose commentaries rather than having to slavishly follow a sequence. My main reason for writing this review, though, is to praise the staff, especially a lady called Mary. Without wishing to embarrass anyone, it isn’t often that one visits a venue and afterwards think that you will remember the help given (to a slightly stressed elderly couple) for a long time afterwards.
John J — Google review
A thoroughly pleasing experience. Excellent staff, wonderfully welcoming. Could spend upwards of 2-3 hours wandering through a superb display of the glory years of Worcester porcelain. Very good range in the shop. Would recommend even to those without a previous interest in such a subject.

Very interesting day out learning all about history of pottery in UK. Great displays, interactive ones for children and explorers packs to borrow but not well checked as lots of items were missing. Audio guide was essential as most info would be missing without it

If you love your Royal Worcester China then this is the place for you Don't worry the only place you'd get to break anything is in the shop everything else is secured in display cabinets apart from the main reception/ ticket area Remember to look out for the cats Children get to also make there own by coloring in pottery blanks which get placed in the kiln and can be collected / posted once done such a great idea Make a great gift for a special person

In Worcester, England, there is a striking bronze statue of the renowned composer Sir Edward Elgar. The sculpture depicts him in his doctoral robes, seated on a bench with a pencil and score paper in hand. This iconic landmark is located in the heart of the city and is a popular attraction for both locals and tourists. Visitors can combine their love of music with visits to historic landmarks such as the nearby Elgar Birthplace Museum.
Often adorned with a cone for a hat or covered in bird excrement, all in Worcester know the Elgar statue. Meeting place for youths, stopping place for buses and a myriad of other things I'm sure. Used to get free WiFi from the Christian bookshop nearby as well but it closed down.

A modestly larger than life statue of one of the country's foremost composers, located in a prominent position on the city square, facing Worcester Cathedral, with which he had long and close connections. There is a brass plaque in the pavement in front of the statue, detailing his career and local connections. Inside the cathedral, there is a memorial window to him, based on scenes in The Dream of Gerontius, one of his most famous works.

The Guildhall Worcester, designed by Thomas White, is a remarkable Queen Anne building with statues of Charles and Charles II at the entrance. Additionally, six rooms are available for hire to accommodate various events. The building's Classical Queen Anne style features ornate details like reliefs and sculptures that adorn the facade.
Lovely place with a lot of fascinating things to see, including some really interesting portraits and a piano owned by Edward Elgar. First time visitor. Located in the main city centre. Free entrance. There was a free exhibition on Sir Edward Elgar in one of the rooms with videos and various displays on Worcester's favourite son. There is one large main hall with toilets facilities in the first floor. The rest of the venue looks off-limits to the public. There is several display cases but not much else on display. Worth a quick visit in Worcester.

This building is a secret gem in the heart of Worcester. We stumbled upon it on a random adventure through Worcester. The building is full of social and political history, and many original features remain. The ceiling art work on the first floor is stunning. It is well kept and clean throughout. A special mention to the staff who went above and beyond to answer our questions and show us around.

Worcester guildhall built during the reign of queen Anne to replace a black n white building, was used as a court room where there are cells. Upstairs was for the council meetings. Lots of portraits of former mayors/ monarchs. Events held all year check website, free entry, toilets on 2 floors. Part of the February Worcester living history weekend.
Hayley E — Google review
Here on a day trip. The Guildhall is just amazing. The outside is a piece of art in itself. Spend some time enjoying the intricate work. Had a lovely walk around the beautiful rooms, also with fantastic artwork, paintings etc. The many original features are exquisite and free entry.

Fantastic free place with so much history. Definitely worth a visit.

WoW stunning building rich in history ,built during the Georgian era reign of queen Anne.As it was a court there are cells. Lots of portraits of former mayors/ monarchs and timeliness right upto current day. Fuction rooms can be hired. You can peacefully look round alone but staff are on ground floor to the right in offices if require assistance. It truly shows the loss of design we have lost into today's builds. Thank you for such a fabulous time.
Amelia C — Google review
Beautiful building, gorgeous architecture, right in the middle of the main high street in Worcester, didn’t have time to go round and look but you can go look round the place, which I’d love to go back and do!

Restaurant
Zizzi - Worcester is an Italian chain restaurant known for its delicious pizza, calzone, and traditional pastas. The restaurant pays tribute to its Worcester location and the life of Elgar, offering a sleek setting. Customers have praised the amazing staff and the classic, unique ambiance of the place. However, some have noted that certain seating areas can be noisy due to their proximity to the bar. Despite this, many appreciate the generous portion sizes and great value offered by the set menu.
A beautiful restaurant in a fantastic location of Worcester. Lovely decor, spacious seating and all the staff were lovely and very helpful. The waitress was Grace who did everything to make the visit wonderful. The food arrived in good time and really was perfect. Not often I have desert, but the salted caramel cheesecake was excellent. I would highly recommend dining here.

Had a party of 12 booked for tonight, really good food, great offers on and amazing service. Waitress went above and beyond for us. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ see you again soon 😊
Milo J — Google review
Love Zizzis always had a good vibe and the food is always delicious! Group of 6 of us, the waiting staff was very friendly and our food was brought on in a good time. For someone who is very fussy with food even the set menu had loads of options I could eat and like. Good choice of everything. Don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience here. Best place to eat out with friends.

Brilliant food, big portions and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

We dined here this evening as a family if for including two children. All the staff were lovely from the waiter Seb to the waitress Dani, not forgetting the lovely chef who fave my child an extra ice lolly as he dropped it in the floor. The food was yummy and we'd definitely come here again.
Alicia B — Google review
Underwhelming food. We all had three pizzas but the toppings were very reduced even my 13 year old daughter said, I’m glad this wasn’t the single pepperoni (as she ordered a triple pepperoni).
David S — Google review
Had originally booked a little earlier but was able to rearrange easily on the phone as was running a little late. The food was delicious, and the staff were lovely. Great restaurant to finish off a lovely evening.
Cooking D — Google review
Service was friendly and efficient, and the food arrived quickly. We went in around 3 PM and saw a 3-course lunch set menu advertised outside for £19. However, when it came time to pay, we were charged the full price. The waiter explained the set menu was only available in the evening, although this wasn’t mentioned on the menu or communicated to us when we ordered. A small disappointment and I understand this isn’t the staffs fault at zizzi, so it wouldn’t stop me from returning — overall, a very enjoyable experience

PIZZA FREAKZ is an exceptional establishment located above a fantastic bottle shop. It offers an impressive variety of beers and an unusual selection of non-alcoholic beverages. The pizzas are extraordinary, with pre-cooked slices heated to perfection upon ordering, resulting in a remarkably fresh taste. This place is worth frequent visits due to its ever-changing pizza menu that ensures new and exciting options each time. The cheerful staff and enjoyable playlists add to the overall experience.
Great pizza hidden away upstairs, well worth seeking out if pizza is your thing. It was very busy but we luckily managed to get a table.

Sek this out for tasty, crispy and large pizza slices from £4. Great alternative atmosphere.

I'm a big pizza fan but it's hard to come by these days. So much take away trash out there it's all you can find mostly. So I like to travel around and find the good stuff. I've been lots places all over the Midlands and those good quality pizza spots are out there. Leaven pizza in Hereford being my favourite.. So far. However today I visited Pizza Freaks in Worcester. Wow! My new favourite pizza. I've never been to NYC but this, in my minds eye/tastes buds, is everything I imaged an NYC slice shop would be. The crust on the pizza is crisp, light, airy and crisp.. Did I say crisp? It has flavour to and stands out well from other pizza's that claim to be sourdough or long fermentation doughs. Best pizza sauce I've had. Quality of ingredients is top notch. The cans of tomato are not just for display it's what they actually use. Will defo be visiting for slices! If you like good quality pizza then try this place you won't be disappointed.
Rob A — Google review
Visited for my birthday on a Saturday afternoon. Pizza was absolutely delicious and one was more than enough for the four of us. Staff were very helpful putting the sauce on the side in case it was too spicy for the kids. We’ll be back!
Alex M — Google review
So so good, absolute gem of a place above an awesome bottle shop. Great selection of beers as a result & a unique range of soft drinks. Pizzas were incredible, pre cooked slices warmed through once ordered, yet still tasted so fresh. Definitely stopping in as often as I can find an excuse.
Matt W — Google review
The pizza is out of this world. So much flavour I need more. You can buy by the slice too which is cool. Great beer, great tunes and lovely staff, you have to check this place out.
Rory L — Google review
You will not find pizza that is better quality than this in the Midlands. Whatever style you might compare it with, neopolitan, detroit slice, dirty dominos or even home made, Pizza Freakz slice are easy winners. I loved the depth and flavour of the toppings (pepperoni slice and mexican slice) and the dough is crispy and soft at the same time in ways in which it should be illegal. Keep up the good work guys!

first time going today and thoroughly enjoyed! Lovely man serving and great food, the price is what you get so don’t knock it before you try it. Will be becoming a regular :)

Restaurant
Benedicto's Italian Restaurant is a charming three-storey establishment featuring exposed timber and stonework, offering a delightful blend of Italian classics with a Sicilian touch. Nestled in the historical building in Sidbury, this restaurant has undergone significant expansion over the years. The heart of its mission lies in delivering authentic traditional Italian cuisine, with a strong emphasis on flavors from Sicily.
Myself and mum visited yesterday at midday and we honestly cannot thank all staff enough for their attentiveness and kindness, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by a very polite young man, we are so sorry we are unsure on his name, but he spoke to us about lots of dishes that he recommended on the menu and was very polite to chat to. We both had the most incredible dishes which were the carbonara and lasagna, the dishes were full of flavour and were the perfect portion, I have visited many times and cannot wait to return! During our exit, we spoke to a lovely lady who was wearing a green top, She was so lovely and extremely polite and friendly to us both, unfortunately I didn’t catch her name either, but she was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable! Thank you so much! We cannot wait to return! 🥰🍝✨

Had a fantastic meal here recently for my birthday, the food was very nice and the service was excellent despite there being nearly 10 of us on a busy Saturday evening, would definitely recommend and will be back again! All of my friends said the same and had a great time, thank you!

Searched for Italian restaurants near me, stumbled upon Benedictos. Didn’t know at the time that this was a five-star worthy, delicious restaurant with kind waiters and waitresses. First of all, the food. This was genuine Italian food and also genuinely amazing- seasoned perfectly, and the textures dancing in your mouth were just delightful. I mentioned the kind waiters and waitresses. They were caring and also very sympathetic. Good job on that, Benedictos! Plus, there was nothing wrong with the atmosphere- just the normal. Chatty, with music in the background. The restaurant was decorated quite nicely, with paintings, lights and food on display. Overall, Benedictos is a great restaurant that I would definitely recommend!

We dine here few days ago , staff's very polite, we sat on second floor which i think its under construction atm and without being rude so it was very warm. Food is amazing but cocktails are bit expensive. All in all experience not too bad. :) definitely going back again

Restaurant
The Anchor Pub & Kitchen is a stylish canal-side pub in Worcester, offering all-day English eats, pints, cocktails, and seasonal garden seating. Visitors have raved about the delicious meals, with one describing it as 'a plate of loveliness' and praising it as the best roast they've had in a pub restaurant. The staff are known for being lovely and accommodating, making it a great place to visit with friendly service.
I cannot say thankyou enough! The Anchor was the venue for my Bridal shower brunch! It was perfect! We used the Boathouse, for 16 people and the room looked beautiful! The communication from start to finish was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and the staffs help on the morning itself was fab. The breakfasts were all excellent!! Really tasty ingredients and everyone cannot wait to eat there again. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a private dining experience for any event. Thank-you again to you all so much for making my day perfect! Xx

Lovely pub with chatty friendly helpful bar and kitchen staff. Good selection of food and drink available. Neat compact rooms ideal for a one nite stay. Hot shower in the morning as well as a full English breakfast served compliments to the chef. Stone oven pizza available as well and the Hawaiian pizza I had was massive. If in the area would definitely stay again. Large beer garden would be ideal in the warmer months.

A lovely little pub and food place. I was really pleased with my visit here. The staff were absolutely lovely and the food was outstanding. Dog friendly pub outside so good to see the cute doggos. I've been here twice now and both times were superb. Very easy to find as it's just down diglis road and by all the boats in the harbour. Such a pretty view if you sit out in the garden at the back. I prefer the outside as it is more spacious and was very chill. I loved the atmosphere out there. A little bit loud and cramped inside. Kitchen opens at 5.30 for tea time. It also opens at 10am and closes at 2 for lunch. I had the gammon the first time and then the burger and they were so good. 😍 Definitely would like to come here again. Really chill pub and amazing food.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food arrived both quickly and hot. We dined outside with our dog. Only thing that could have been better was I tried to pay in cash, to be told we don’t accept Scottish bank notes. In this day and age! It is legal tender in England just like Bank of England is legal tender in Scotland.

Needed a dog friendly place for lunch, quick Google search and we thought The Anchor was worth a go. Was busy but we managed to get a table in the restaurant with the help of the friendly host. Service was attentive but not overpowering, drinks brought quickly after ordering. Food service was just about right, not quick but not slow. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, not cheap but reasonably priced for the quality. Would be happy to visit again if in the area.

Wow, what a place! We were visiting for the day and were recommended to try here for food. So glad we did! Outstanding food, excellent quality and quantity. Lovely atmosphere and fantastic customer service. Can not recommend it highly enough.

My first visit here and I loved it! My bavette steak was cooked just how I like it and my friend's fish & chips were thoroughly enjoyed by them. Perhaps a bit on the large size but delicious nevertheless! For dessert I had the apricot bread & butter pudding which was perfect. Can't wait to go again!!!

This is a pub well worth A visit. The food menu is thorough with special deals during the week. The beer, wine, cider, lager and spirit's on offer provide a wide choice. There is an extensive seating ares outside too. The toilets are well maintained and kept clean. Customer service is first rate. The bar and restaurant is clean however it could do with re-painting.
