Very quiet, can't stay in parks by beach but plenty on road . Police pass thro 3 times in day and never bother you great for over nite stop.

Cala Lo Ribellet is an exceptional beach in the vicinity, boasting a non-touristy ambiance and attracting numerous locals. One can choose between strolling along a pleasant pathway or opting for a quicker route through the nearby forest. The beach offers convenience with its bar serving alcoholic beverages and uncomplicated fare such as grilled sandwiches and squid rings. The staff are friendly, and payment options include both card and cash. Additionally, there is a compact restroom provided at the beach's end.
Amazing small beach, with easy access and a bar for drinks. The water is crystal clear, you can see fish swimming around you. Good place for snorkeling.

Beautiful cove with soft sand and a gentle rock free slope into the sea.
David B — Google review
This is probably the best cove beach I’ve visited. It is sandy, clear water, you can see fish swimming under your feet. The beach has its own bar where you can have a drink if you want. Lovely place to visit.
Ross M — Google review
Beautiful cove - really shallow water, great for families. Free parking nearby and a public shower for rinsing off sand.
Christine E — Google review
This is absolutely the best beach in the area. Its not touristic at all. There are a lot of locals who visit this beach. It had a nice walkway or you can take the shortcut through the woods. This is a lot faster. There is a beach bar here which serves alcohol and makes simple food like grilled sandwiches and squid rings. The people there are really nice. It's possible to pay by card or cash. There is also a small dixy toilet at the end of the beach. The water is very nice here with almost no dirt or waste in there. There are not a lot of fish who swim here but its fine if you just want to look around and snorkel.

Restaurant
Mediterranean restaurant
Les Veles is a charming and quaint eatery located in the coastal town of Calafat. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining options, allowing guests to enjoy their meals in a picturesque setting. The menu features a diverse selection of dishes without overwhelming with extensive lists. The staff are reasonably friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. One notable aspect is that the food at Les Veles is not only delicious but also affordable, offering great value for money.
We had menu del dia. Starters were simple but very tasty, Tomato with tuna salad and Onion rings with hummus. The Onion rings were giant, crispy gold outside and soft inside, just delicious. Main was fideuà, big paella for two with a thin layer of pasta as it should be. A lot of flavour (muy sabrosa),not salty and pasta with bite. Perfect. Dessert was cheesecake, soft and creamy in the center, very well done...
Didac V — Google review
Despite the beautiful presentation of the dishes, the food was quite flavourless. Maybe it was because of the vegan options I ordered. The service was slow. They had a lot of tables outside but we still had to wait 30 minutes to get a table. It is overpriced for the amount and quality of the food. Unfortunately, I would not go back.
Paula G — Google review
Food was good, we had the “ensaladilla” clams and black rice. Friendly and familiar service.
Marc C — Google review
A hidden gem away from the beaten track. Simple but carefully made food, thoughtful service and a playground outside if you come with kids.
Gosha G — Google review
Mainly fish restaurant. Very fresh tuna carpaccio on the most beautiful sea-like blue glass serving dish. Chipirones and fried small fish were both perfect: such light and crunchy coating. The small fish were cleaned but not deboned: better for the shape and easily done yourself.I requested some aïoli and it was brought promptly. Like all the service! We sat outside in shade under the "veles". Calm sofisticated relaxed atmosfere. The Entrecote was also perfect. A minor point: the price of drinks is not in the menu, so you have to guess and wait for the bill (3,50 for glass of wine and 2,40 for a beer, 2,5 for bottle of water). Would recommend to make a reservation.
Cariel T — Google review
Delicious food (every single dish)! The service is lovely. Smiley and really helpful. Really worth the trip
Patrick V — Google review
Beautiful little restaurant in the seaside town of Calafat. You can dine outside or inside. The menu items are varied but the menu is not cluttered with lists. The staff is reasonably friendly and efficient. We also liked the fact that the food is good but inexpensive. Personally I has moules marinière with chips and we ordered a bottle of Muscadet. I highly recommend Les Veles, especially for dining.

Beer store
Restaurant Esmeralda is a fantastic dining establishment for families, offering enjoyable games to keep children entertained. The service provided by the staff is exceptional, especially during busy times, as they are friendly and welcoming. The steaks at this restaurant are amazing, and the paella is also quite delicious. Expect to spend around $300 to $400 on your bill, including drinks and desserts.
I love this place! We come here whenever we are near Tres Calas we come here. The food, atmosphere and service is so good. We just ate the pizza Mexicana and it was so delicious we ordered a second one.
George P — Google review
We came with a large group. People who ordered meat (like me) were disappointed. They ask if we want medium, well done, … but don’t manage to deliver on that. I did not want to have food thrown away so I still ate my well-done T-bone steak (I ordered medium) Not once did someone ask if all is fine. So I shared my experience at the end. The waitress did not care at all. We were all shocked. Mistakes can always happen, but this reaction (or the lack of a reaction) upon criticism, … I still lack words. Service: one waitress was good, charming and funny. The other not. Food: some starter were good. Fish meals seemed to be good/okay. People from our group liked the desserts. Pizza was more like a French “Tarte flambé” (Flammkuchen) than an Italian pizza. For my personal experience I would give one star. Since other were enough satisfied, I can give two stars. And the ambience is ok. We came on our first evening and I don’t want to come back.
Jens H — Google review
We ate here twice. Nice place for families with games to amuse the kids. We had a table of 15. Good service especially when busy. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Steaks were awsome, Paella was nice. €300 to €400 for bill including drinks and desserts. Kids menu is good. French Fries can be a little salty so order without if you like naked chips. Would recommend.
Chris S — Google review
The service was absolutely terrible. The food was delicious, and we even managed to make the grumpy waitress laugh by saying: “Two kisses, please.” The food was good, but the bad service made it taste a bit less enjoyable. Also, charging €2 for one game of pool is a huge scam. The tables and benches that came with it felt like a bed of nails, which isn’t very pleasant while eating. On top of that, our backrest broke. And there were constantly little flies flying into our necks and food, which made the meal even less enjoyable.
Evertbrijs — Google review
Had a fabulous lunch here! Delicious fresh food and super friendly service, the setting is absolutely stunning too. Would definitely stop by again if we were nearby!
Tansy R — Google review
The setting is great. We ordered food for 5 and got it in three stages. Fist ones (2) were finished, then the next two received food. When they were half way the last one received. The price quality is not ok. Steak for Euro 30 was ordered medium but received nearly well done (taste was ok) Even pizza was burned. The waiters were nice but had no clue. In my opinion it's way overprized and not worth a visit. The setting is great by the way, that's why we ended up here. We saw some old negative reviews but since they were old decided to give it a chance.
Marcello P — Google review
We had two absolutely fabulous meals here whilst on holiday in Les Tres Cales. The food was fantastic. Service was excellent and our first meal, which was a birthday celebration, was extra special. The sangria is very good and local fish dishes are fresh and full of flavour. Thank you to all at Esmeralda’s - would highly recommend this restaurant.
Bethany W — Google review
We went in for dinner on the first night of our holiday and the young woman who greeted us was really rude, we just tried to shrug it off and ate there anyway as we didn't have an alternative on that evening. Pizza was ok and other staff were more pleasant so we thought we'd try again as it was so close to where we were staying. My family tried to have dinner at the restaurant again tonight but this time the service was so rude that we were forced to leave without eating. We felt completely unwelcome - our children were asking why the staff hated us! My husband paid after having drinks and was polite but said we wouldn't be staying for food due to the atmosphere. They said "here's the bill"! Awful, Would give 0 stars if it were possible.

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with the Tuna Tour, a remarkable experience set against the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean. This unique excursion allows you to swim alongside majestic bluefin tuna in their natural habitat, offering a thrilling opportunity to connect with marine life like never before. Departing from L'Ametlla de Mar in Tarragona, you'll board a sleek catamaran that promises both comfort and excitement. As you glide over the waves, prepare for an immersive experience that engages all your senses.
I really debated this due to some of the comments, but I can only think they are fake reviews as this was one of the most impressive experiences we’ve had. From the very start, the boat was beautiful, clean and well kept. The journey was steady and enjoyable. The swim was well planned and exciting even for those not swimming (like myself, but I could still talk to and video my husband and son in the water). My son said it really is the experience of a lifetime. We may actually go back and do it again. Seeing the safety and fun everyone had, my young daughter wants to go too! Absolutely brilliant day and please, please ignore any and all negative reviews or you’ll miss out on the opportunity of an incredible trip. Oh and definitely pay for the use of photos, we have so many great photos! The staff made sure to capture every moment! (I can’t add them yet as we are still on holiday but I will update when I can with them!)
Becky R — Google review
A memorable experience. A number of packages to choose from...we went 'all in' with the package inclusive of 'catamaran, swim and tasting'. There is an educo-video on screen to highlight sustainability snd the life cycle of the tuna. Snorkel is handy but not necessary, now if you are a diver, you are at an advantage, as the tuna like to swim deep. It is exhilarating to see the 3 meter bluefin tuna, circle and dive for sardines, before joining all 200+ of them!!! One swam a foot in front of me, but that was as close as I got. Back on board, a quick shower before being served tuna, japanese style with cava. Back on shore after a pleasurable adventure.
Jean K — Google review
Great fun for all! Social distancing once on the boat is pretty bad, but what can one do apart from imposing. Helpful multilingual crew members. Today seemed the tuna where just not very interested..
Francis H — Google review

Our tour was cancelled twice due to the weather. The first time we were informed about 3.5 hours in advance which saved us the 2 hour drive. The second time we were informed 1 hour in advance which meant we were already 1:15 into our drive. Although thats sucks, we DID get our money refunded.
Nicholas J — Google review
The weather was not so nice for the day we booked online, and they were so nice to change our booking twice, waiting for the nice weather. It is definitely a great experience, hundreds of huge tunas swimming around you but never touching you. You have to go there even if you're not staying in L'Ametlla!
Nikola K — Google review
They canceled the trip due to weather conditions and they refused to reimburse the tickets. To avoid at any cost.

Whether you're an experienced angler or just looking for a fun day on the water, OnBoats offers fishing charters that cater to all skill levels, ensuring an exciting outing in rich marine environments.
We came here the previous year. No skipper this time. Boat hire for 4 hours. Boat for 7 people, 330€. Explanation and welcome were top-notch, thanks to Juan. You'll have advice on what to see and where to relax to enjoy the countryside. The only negative point was the high cost of petrol when returning the boat. (200€+/-) The skipper option is more economical if you are not sure.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch while driving to Valencia and it was wonderful. They have English menus and a few members of the staff spoke enough English to tell us about our meal. They were having a "swim with tuna" giveaway the afternoon we were there which was fun to experience. The food was very good, I haven't had a lot of tuna (tuna is their specialty) but my husband loves it so we ordered a starter of tartare and then I had the poached tuna in a tomato sauce, I think it's called the fisherman's way and my husband the sea bass. I really enjoyed both types of tuna and my husband liked the sea bass but was jealous of my tuna dish. I felt so welcome here and really enjoyed the experience and atmosphere.

Quality of 100% Iberian meat (entrecote, feather and prey) Pleasant little terrace, attentive service explaining options and varieties. We ordered a board of acorn-fed Iberian ham and cheese, prey, pluma and entrecôtes (3) for 5 people. The only "but" is the stone, which in the end already went out and being 5 people they could offer a change, at a rate of 1 stone for every 2 pax. They tell you in a letter the price of a stone change, something that I have not encountered many times. It's a but light, everything else is a 10, delighted with the quality of the meat, that's why it's still a 5/5!

(Translated by Google) Excellent experience. High quality products. We had stone-grilled Iberian meat and an incredible ham. They treated us with great care and had attention that is usually missing in hospitality. Highly recommended. Price-quality couldn't be better. If you have the opportunity, don't miss it. We will return. We met Aroa and Jose and congratulated them for putting so much soul and love into their business. (Original) Excelente experiencia. Nosotros volveremos. Conocimos a Aroa y a Jose y les felicitamos por poner tanta alma y amor en su negocio.

(Translated by Google) We ordered two red wines, and they didn't ask me if I had a preference. When it was time to pay, they charged me 7 euros. I paid with a 10-euro bill, and without saying anything, they gave me my change in 50, 20, and 10-cent coins. I didn't say anything because I was on vacation, but the least I could say was that I didn't have any euro coins, since they also don't accept card payments for amounts under 10 euros. (Translated by Google) All very good, really. To say the least, I like the goat cheese salad better those with the large flamed medallion. This one had a small cut curler with balsamic on top. The Racó Iberic board is very good. You can see the quality sausage cut to order. Recomiendo

Good value for money They have different menus even during the weekend. The black rice was really good, the cod and the mussels were also very good and fresh! Things to improve, the bread!! Really bad and the French fries and cod croquettes too! Not good! The desserts were average. They did not allow us to pay separately

Menu was 18 euros and had great paella. I got the Jamon and melon for starter and it was delicious

While the location is great overlooking the entrance to the harbour, the food was a little boring and tasteless to be honest. We both got overcooked fish and that kind of ruins it a little. We definately had better eats in l'Amettla de Mar. Service was fine.

5 star for everything. Alfredo catered for a party of 19 and it was all perfect. Thank you Alredo, Alba & Tabby for a great evening.

Great food and friendly service. Located on a “balcony” overlooking the harbour of L’Ametlla de Mar offering a fantastic view and excellent background for family photos :) We have been returning to Lorena many times over the years as this is one of our favourites when vacationing in L’Ametlla.

Ca Merino is a delightful gem that truly embodies the essence of homemade cuisine. Nestled in L'Ametlla, this charming restaurant offers an array of delectable dishes, from comforting soups and fresh salads to mouthwatering desserts. The chef's expertise shines through in their superbly prepared wild dorada, making it a must-try for seafood lovers. The warm atmosphere is enhanced by the dynamic mother-daughter duo who run the place with passion and dedication, ensuring every meal is crafted with care.
What a lovely find. A great restaurant with just about everything homemade. Soup, salads, desserts, amazingly cooking wild dorada superbly prepared by the chef. Clearly well run with a super mother/daughter team delivering quality food. Ensure you try the “fried fish” selection, you will nit be disappointed. Thank you for a great meal.

Having eaten here many years ago, we decided to come back as it's a nice place a bit out of the crowds. We found the same cosy place and took the menu del día for an okay 18 EUR pp and 11 EUR for the kids menu. The portions were too small, so we ordered some extra bread, which after asking four times came only once we finished the paella. Still we all left still hungry. Service [from the young lad] was slow and not very accommodating, which according to the lady behind the bar, was due to new staff. I do respect the dificulties a restaurant owner has to deal with finding a balance between acceptable prices and good staff. However, when they had her young new waitor pass by us and all the other tables to apologize on behalf of the restaurant (owner?) it made it all very uncomfortable, for everyone. Reading the defensive tone on other negative reviews placed here I recommend some self-reflection. A genuine sorry from the responsible person goes a long way for most people.

We ordered frid fish and squids and patates bravas. Let's say that it was all swimming in oil. For the fish we had no idea about the name of the fish. The pats bravas were actually wadge potatoes from the super market. And the frid squid were literally saggy and in oil I even found the head of a fish fridge in the mixtures and all frozen. Nothing was fresh . I felt sick and all of that for 54 euros. Which I find ridiculous expensive. I even had to wash my cloths coz they smelled of oil( I ate indoor)

Amazing, totally recommendable, great value for money. You need to get pescadito frito and croquetas de jamón, for sure. We will come back
