Park
Parc El Palmeral is a stunning recreational park located just outside the city center of Alicante. It offers a variety of activities for families and visitors, including boat rides on the lake, BMX track, walking trails, and beautiful palm trees. The park features numerous play areas for children, picnic spots with benches and tables, as well as lush green spaces to relax in.
A really beautiful park and definitely worth a visit if you’re in Alicante. It’s a great place to chill, go for a run in the morning, do some yoga, or get a workout in. If you love lush Mediterranean plants and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere, you’ll really enjoy it here. Highly recommended!
Milán N — Google review
Beautiful park that’s easy to get to by public transport. Plenty of space for activities, a cozy food stand, and even a gorgeous waterfall. Plus, there are a few friendly cats wandering around that make it even better.
Jade — Google review
Very nice park with much vegetation and waerfalls. I took my 4 year old grandaughter, she loved it. For children there is nice play park features. There is a nice kiosk for refreshments and food with a great and cheap menu. I totally recommend this park for a half day visit. There is no entry fee and easy parking.
Paul S — Google review
It's a bit remote, but if you have a chance worth a visit. Quite nice and equipped with a gym, a pump track and playgrounds. You can find a tap with potable water and toilets there, too. It's a small park for an hour or two of visit.
Adam W — Google review
This place is just incredible. It was recently renovated and they’ve done an excellent job. Everything looks tidy and the children park is just incredible.
Daniel L — Google review
Great place, lots to see and do. Lovely little cafe in the middle with hot and cold drinks and ice creams. Toilets placed behind cafe. Would highly recommended taking a bottle of water as its a larger area than expected.

Mercadillo Santa Pola / Wochenmarkt / Weekly Market /

Market
The Mercadillo Santa Pola, also known as the Wochenmarkt or Weekly Market, is a must-visit when in Santa Pola. This market offers a wide variety of merchandise, from fresh fruits and vegetables to clothing and household items. Visitors can find an array of products at affordable prices, including shoes, fruits, and vintage clothing. The market's history dates back to the 1st century when it served as a trading port for the Iberians.
Good bargains on everything. Go early.
Melchor A — Google review
There you'll find fresh fruits, vegetables ... every monday and saturday.
Kai J — Google review
Nice market with lots of merchandise, some of which is decent, and some which is overpriced junk. The fruit and veggie selection is really good, with tonnes of melons, peaches, plums, figs, and more. Most is fresh. Lots of nuts and candy, along with a few rudimentary places to grab a bite. It's definitely worth the walk.
R S — Google review
One of the best markets in Alicante province. Saturday morning is the big one with a slightly smaller version on Monday morning. Every thing from fruit, t- shirts, fabrics, household items, and more.
Tom H — Google review
Nice place to go around for shopping if you are in Santa Pola on Monday and Saturday.. stalls with price tags at least selling at reasonable prices .. can find local food trucks ..
Loga P — Google review
Big choice of variety. The best that there is a corner where you can eat your ready made food by using a microwave oven and packed cutlery.
Szilvia K — Google review
It’s always interesting to look around the local Santa Pola market. Most things can be found here, with fresh fruit and vegetables a definite highlight. It goes without saying that new “fashion” clothing is widely featured, but there’s a huge selection of used clothing including vintage offerings.
Graeme K — Google review
This has got to be the cheapest Street market in the region for shoes a great range of qualities and all at very low prices. A good selection of fruit an veg, again at very low prices. Ample adjacent parking. As examples, I bought 3 pairs of shoes at 5 euros each and 2 large pineapples at 3 euro for the both

Tabarca Water Taxi, an exceptional boat tour agency, offers a delightful and exciting experience for those seeking a smooth or adventurous journey. For a more tranquil ride, they suggest opting for one of their larger ferries. On the other hand, if one craves the exhilarating sensation of waves hitting the boat, they highly recommend another option. This agency is perfect for first-time boaters who will cherish the thrills it provides.
Good experience. Very fast (less than 15 minutes) ride, reasonable price and right on schedule (both ways there and back). Friendly staff who speaks English.
Alexey Y — Google review
Not the drivers fault, but the sea was extremely rough, so rough that a young woman on board was injured from the impact of the boat hitting the waves. After she got hurt he did slow down which was a relief to us all. The experience was quite traumatic overall. In these conditions I think fair warning should have been given before boarding. I don’t think I would have taken the small boat if I had known as it was pretty sore being thrown about like that. The larger boats seemed to cope better with the adverse weather. The return journey was a lot better, and we managed to sit at the very back of the boat which was a softer ride.

A fantastic day trip to a wonderful island. We took the ferry from Santa Pola which is a plasure in itself , the island has a few restairants, a bautiful quaint hotel and arts and craft shops set around old traditional streets.A day trip is highly recomended 👍🏼😉

Perfect service, fast boay ride, nothing to complain about. Well, the online order was quite tricky as english site version doesn't have a checkout page 😊

Quick ferry at reasonable price. One disadvantage is the very loud (house) music on board. If the captain wants to listen to this kind of noise, let him use headphones. Now he is spoiling the experience of his passengers !!

Aquari Municipal de Santa Pola, also known as the Santa Pola oceanarium, is a charming saltwater aquarium that showcases marine life from the Mediterranean. It aims to educate visitors about deep-sea creatures and contribute to the conservation of endangered species. With 9 spacious tanks, it is the oldest and largest saltwater aquarium in the Valencian Community. The collection mainly consists of species donated by local sailors and fishermen.
A really lovely local aquarium with many local Mediterranean species of sea life. The welcome attendant was very friendly and kind and very helpful providing us a map of the tanks including what species were where. Free entrance in December. Handicapped and people with mobility issues can enter. Well worth the visit!!! Don’t miss it!! 🐟 🐙 🐠
Georgina C — Google review
Small and nice. Perfect for a small break from the heat with kids. Today was free entrance. Would have liked more information about the different kinds of fish.
Emma K — Google review
This little aquarium is a short break from the city or summer heat. It's quite small and gets really busy so busy in fact that you may have to wait in line to get in. You will stay for max 30 - 40 minutes if so long. But entry was free and although this was maybe not worth the trip to Santa Paula alone you could have a lovely day in the town and this aquarium be one stop in the day.
Berglind B — Google review
Having been to some of the biggest aquariums in the world, I wasn't expecting much from the small local (free!) one, but we enjoyed our stop very much and it was nice to see what you can see in the area under the surface.

The venerable fortress and castle, constructed around 1558, houses a chapel and a maritime museum. It hosts special events as well. As you meander through the winding streets, you will come across ancient Roman ruins and be awestruck by the striking Santa Pola Castle's beauty. This tour not only offers insight into the lives of local fishermen but also introduces visitors to a variety of culinary delights found in town.
Beautiful, well preserved fort/castle. Open 24 hours. There is a museum inside, and also a small chapel. We visit early August. Be careful not to book apartments close by - bell tower rings every hour 24/7. It’s a special treat during night hours. Other than that, it’s beautifully an worth checking out.

Nice little castle in Santa Pola. Quite a few events take place here. There is a museam but closes Mondays. Plenty of coffee places in the square next door. A fantastic church sits in the corner of the castle. Must visit
Paul S — Google review
A fascinating historical fortress located in the very heart of Santa Pola, originally built in the 16th century to protect the coast from pirate attacks. The structure has been very well preserved and today it hosts the Sea Museum, the Fishing Museum, a small chapel, and exhibition halls where cultural events frequently take place. The atmosphere is calm and authentic, with bastions and courtyards that allow you to imagine how life was centuries ago. Its central location makes it very easy to combine a visit with a walk along the promenade or nearby restaurants, so it is an ideal stop for both history lovers and casual visitors.

Mirador del Far de Santa Pola offers breathtaking panoramic views of Alicante Bay from an elevated walkway leading to a clifftop observation deck. The lighthouse, built in 1858 on the site of an old watchtower 'Atalayola,' is located to the northeast of Santa Pola. Visitors are encouraged to witness the stunning sunrises and sunsets, as well as the starry night sky.
It's a long single track road to your destination, but we'll worth the drive down, there are parts where yoj can pull over if carz coming towards you. Parking available outside the lighthouse gates and also a car park just down the road. With Disabled spaces just at the edge of the walkway too outside the lighthouse gates. Stunning views on a sunny day. You can see Alicante, Santa Pola and beyond. Great viewing point for Tarbaca Island too. Lots of benches to sit on to admire the view. No toilets in the area though.
Pebbles W — Google review
Great scenery, great place to visit, especially because there are not much scenic places to visit in this region. Beautiful lighthouse (unfortunately, visitors are not allowed), great see view, island of Tabarca is also perfectly visible in the distance. Sadly, the info stands are sun-bleached and almost unreadable. Also keep in mind that the road to reach the location is bumpy and narrow.
Karolis K — Google review
Great viewing platform that is near the lighthouse and looks down over the beach and sea. The road to drive there is tarmac but quite bumpy and is about 3 km. The morning I went it was over cast but still nice to visit as I was going past. There is quite a bit of parking in 3 car parks and lots of nice walks.
Richard A — Google review
Amazing views, unexpected interesting old military site, loads of wildlife around, very clean and well maintained. Shame no refreshments and road is narrow
Christine A — Google review
Beautiful view everyone must seem that view
Erika L — Google review
The road down to the skywalk is quite bumpy and lots of craters to avoid driving over if you value your car. We took it easy driving down and were glad we went there. To be honest the skywalk itself isn’t that awe inspiring but still worth doing for the views. We went on a chilly overcast day but it did mean we had some dramatic skies
Su K — Google review
The way with the car was not quite easy because of the many road damage. By foot possibly a little too long. Maybe with the biycle , which makes the way also not better. In any case, the path is narrow. 2 cars hardly fit side by side. The view itself was great, although I thought the bridge would be longer. Everything is well secured. Nice place for picnics if you want. Our stay was short, because you have seen everything quite quickly.
Petra S — Google review
The road which takes you down to it is part unmade but a fiat can handle it if taken slow. It's about 1.5 miles off the road to the viewing area. Disabled parking at the end. It's a short walk out to the platform and you can get a good view over the cliffs and put it to sea. Access is easy enough for most. It's nice for a picnic or short stop Overall I would recommend a visit for the view.

At first I thought, “Just another Indian place.” But I was so wrong — this was honestly some of the best Indian food I’ve had, and I eat Indian pretty often! The flavors were super tasty and felt really authentic. On top of that, the service was great — super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’ll come back to. Highly recommend!

We have been two weeks on our holidays in Santa Pola and this lovely place was just underneath our apartment. Beautiful food, wonderful service and very kind people working there. I think we ate there 5 times. It was delicious! Highly recommended!
Anzhelika H — Google review
I took the fixed menu which has a variety of choices available. A Papadum was served in advance. The menu has 1 starter 1 maindish combined with rice or naan bread. 1 drink and a desert or coffee. Taste is quite authentic however maybe less spicy than I am used to have. Service is correct. I can recommend this restaurant.
P. F — Google review
This Indian advertises itself as a Hindu restaurant so I was very surprised to find beef dishes on the menu. I ordered a beef madras. As usual (as is always the case in Spain or Portugal) I was asked if I would like my Beef Madras mild, medium or spicy. At first I refused to answer because a Madras is a hot curry. I eventually said spicy to get rid of her. It was served mild. The butter naan looked like a chamois leather. Very thin and soft. It tasted like a scone. Chicken tikka shashlik featured six cubes of bought in chicken and the tarka daal came from a tin. You'd think I'd have learned my lesson by now but no I just keep on going to Indians in Spain and Portugal and I always end up disappointed. This was the final straw! I’ll never visit another Indian in Iberia.

Nueva Casa del Mar, located on Avenida Fernando Perez Ojeda, 27 in Santa Pola, is a highly recommended and underrated seafood restaurant. It offers traditional rice dishes from the region and serves generous portions of tasty seafood, including delicious baby squids. The friendly staff provides fast service, making it a great place to try local cuisine. While some customers found the olive sauce slightly overpowering in taste, overall the food quality is very good.
One of the best underrated place in the Santa Pola. The food quality was good. The price is similar to any other restaurants which is in the same class. We ate grilled squid and steak beef. Highly recommended. The service was pretty fast

Nestled in the heart of Santa Pola, Restaurante en Santa Pola Pulpería Narcea is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Known for its exceptional steaks and mouthwatering seafood, particularly the octopus served with potatoes, this charming eatery offers a delightful menu crafted from high-quality ingredients. Although it can get lively due to its cozy size, the friendly staff ensures a warm welcome and speaks English fluently, making it accessible for international visitors.
Five star! The welcome and service was excellent throughout. The food was amazing, it’s not cheap but worth it. The calamari were cooked to perfection so was the polpo. Fish was great so was the steak. This place is tucked away so off the tourist area. Well worth going. We live locally so will return for sure.

Food excellent cooked to perfection, staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. Second visit a bit disappointed pulpo excellent, prawns in garlic not value for money, prawns very small the garlic overshadowed everything, hake came with a salad two slices of tomato and some lettuce nothing else. Staff seem to be rushing us to turn the table round. Overall not value for money

Went there without table reservation on a sunday evening, they able to accommodate us, the restaurant is kind small for a huge number of guests, for people with hearing aid it would be too loud. the staff are friendly, they speak english and even have english menu available. we ordered tuna and steak, and both of these are very good, the table already served with a bread and nuts upon arrival and the bread included in your bill. PS. the Entrecôte is a big portion for a good price, the blue fin tuna is very delicious, for the portions and the price it is reasonable. recommendable,

Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Pola Park, a theme park that opened in 1996, spans across 24000 m2 and offers a wide range of attractions suitable for children of all ages. From classic fairground rides like the thrilling roller coaster and giant pendulum to go-karting, mini-golf, water slides, and an aerial train, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The park also features a pirate boat, bouncy castles, flying chairs, and more.
A good park for small kids at a reasonable price. The best attractions usually have queues, so you may need to wait. If you have the whole day, it’s not a problem. Otherwise, you can purchase the express option for an extra charge to get priority access.

As someone coming from Bosnia and Herzegovina, I’ve had the chance to visit many amusement parks, but Pola Park in Santa Pola truly left a special impression! It’s the perfect place for families, couples, children, and even adults who want to relive the carefree joy of childhood. The park is beautifully organized, clean, and well-maintained, with a wide variety of attractions suitable for all age groups – from adrenaline-filled rides and skill games to gentler rides for the little ones. I especially want to praise the staff, who are incredibly friendly, patient, and always ready to help. In addition to the fun, the park also offers plenty of food and drink stands at affordable prices, and it’s important to note that all the attractions are safe and regularly maintained. The atmosphere is colorful, cheerful, and filled with music and smiles – a true little oasis of fun near the coast. The evening light decorations make walking through the park even more enjoyable. A warm recommendation for everyone staying in Santa Pola or nearby – Pola Park is simply a must-see! Whether you're a tourist, a local, or like me – a visitor from Bosnia and Herzegovina – you're guaranteed to find joy, laughter, and plenty of wonderful memories here. 🎢🎠🎉

I had a fantastic time at Pola Park today. I paid €9.99 for my tickets beforehand. All workers were friendly especially Adriano and Alexis who kindly translated English for me. I wasn’t happy with the service from the lady who made my crepe. She didn’t finish off the crepe with a nice chocolate topping that usual crepes gave and when I asked she gave an attitude and just poured it on it.

I was considering giving them 4 stars... But I just can't when I consider the value for money of what they have to offer for children. You won't find modem rides for the ultimate frills here, they are mostly old fairground rides, selected specifically for young kids. That's not the point, they are perfect for kids up to 10yrs old, and the whole park is dedicated to them. So they have a mini pirate ship, dodgem cars, vertical drop, roller coaster etc etc plus larger rides where young kids can still get on with an adult, full size dodgem cars, go karts etc. A part from the fact that the park is tailored to younger kids, if you were to pay for these rides at a fair you'd pay way more for far less time. The food was also reasonably priced for a theme park and the staff were pleasant and helpful. At the end of the day the kids had an awesome time and got to go on some rides that they wouldn't have been able to at a normal theme park since they would have been made only for adults. We will definitely go back.
Jayen W — Google review
Pola park is a old amusement park, some rides are our of order and some have seen better days. If you buy tickets in advance 2-3 days you'll get a discount and they do offer free entry day after, read the fine line in that offer. At the location tickets are most expensive. They have many rides for kids but some have hight restrictions over 90,120 and 130 cm. Some rides have weight limit as well and they weigh you on side. You pay entry fee and then all rides are included, however you'll have to order tickets for the horror house online in advance and the show is on the hour. On weekdays at 9pm the park is as busy as it gets so the ques are quite long for the popular rides. They do offer some burgers and hotdogs even possible to get gluten free burgerbuns however I did not find this appealing. Restrooms were okey clean not overly dirty although the stalls are very narrow and you have to back in to them. If you are planning to drive early bird gets a parking spot so have that in mind.
Berglind B — Google review
I will never come back. The park is poorly managed and nothing seems looked after. There is no control over the queues, with more than 100 people waiting at almost every attraction. Even if you manage to get in line, expect to wait at least 40 minutes. On top of that, the prices are unreasonably high: a single Coca-Cola costs €3.50, and a 400g beer is €5
Levan O — Google review
Perfect place to spend so time with your kids. We have been here every year since they where 2 years old. Now they are 7 and 5 and still enjoy it. Thank you for all the great spirit. Lovely people working here.
Christian F — Google review
We took our 5 year old Sunday evening at 7 in late July. The sun was still hot but there was shade at some rides. Would recommend a light shirt to keep the neck and shoulders covered while standing in queues. Our queues weren't as long as anticipated. Most rides take a dozen or more so the wait wasn't too long. The rides were just right for our 5 year old. On some rides, there are height restrictions and weight restrictions for adults riding with children but not set in stone. The food was reasonably priced and good quality. Ample free parking. Easy to get to off the main road. Very enjoyable evening. Check Groupon or the parks website for big discounted tickets.

Playa Lisa is a fantastic destination for families seeking a fun and relaxing beach day. With its gentle, shallow waters and expansive sandy areas, it's the perfect spot for kids to play while parents unwind under the sun. Located in Santa Pola alongside Gran Playa and Playa del Tamarit, this beach offers a vibrant atmosphere with various leisure options and dining nearby. For those who prefer tranquility, Playa Tamarit provides a serene escape from the crowds.
Lovely beach, short walk to the sea. Can be a lack of space at busy times. Nice range of bars, shops and restaurants along the seafront.

Visited out of season and took own chairs. Nice beach with flat firm grey sand. Sea was full of seaweed so did not swim in it.
Sue A — Google review
Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with my stay in Santa Pola or other places in the surrounding area that I visited, and I see the same issue everywhere. Sadly, when I recall memories from the trip, what I remember most is the constant presence of dog and even human feces. In various places — literally everywhere. Even on a car. I believe you have a very serious sanitation problem, especially when thinking about children, who cannot be let out of sight because of this. Sightseeing in Spain, unfortunately, means constantly staring at the pavement to avoid unpleasant surprises. There is also a lack of public sanitation facilities and toilets. I don't think this is appropriate for a tourist-oriented country. It reminds me of the 1980s in the Eastern Bloc. Overall — dirt, dirt, and more dirt...

Supermarket
Nestled in the heart of Santa Pola, Alicante, Masymas is a charming supermarket that truly caters to all your shopping needs. Located at Placa del Doctor Fleming, this store boasts an impressive selection of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables, alongside a well-stocked meat and fish counter that surprises many visitors given its size. The bakery section offers delightful baked goods like fresh bread and pastries, perfect for those looking to indulge.
My local supermarket, extremely clean, shelves and fridges well stocked, helpful staff, good prices and offers, great meat and fish counters. Takeaway at rear of store, fresh bread and pastries, good wine and beer selection. One stop shop for everyday supplies, also toilet 🚻 facilities. Highly recommend.

Really interesting operation they've got going on here. There are 3/4 different companies offering exactly the same service (boats to visit Tabarca island) at the same price (they all start at 9 eur but can go down to 5 in some cases). The funny part is that the way they compete with each other is by having a bunch of women yelling at tourists to buy tickets at their stand and not the other, to the point where it became super awkward. It's really funny to just go and see that. Having said that, we chose Transtabarca and can't complain much, we had no issues. But I'm sure you won't go wrong if you choose any of the other companies. A photo of the island which by that way is beautiful.
Ricardo V — Google review
Don’t buy tickets here!! Bought our ticket at 09.45, they said the boat would leave at 10. Then they waited until the boat was getting full until 10.30. At least just say you are waiting until the boat is full, instead they lied and kept saying ‘we are leaving now’. Other boats were leaving on time, so make sure you dont buy your tickets at the first blue booth.
Eline P — Google review
Horrible! Come back from Tabarca to Santa Pola without any organization, first staff don’t care about the line, later they try to organize preference without any sense by screaming and pushing people. People who were waiting for one hour in the sun with kids or elderly because previous ship who came was super small got angry and start to fight. Police came, and staff only declared that foreigners were the one who fought. Disaster. We went to Tabarca with the quick ship and we were promised to be able to come back with the big ship with the sea view - a big lie - only small ships came twice in a row and people started to worry they won’t be able to come back…
Anna G — Google review
If there is one thing you do when you go to Santa Pola, you must go to Taberca island. For a very reasonable 10 euro, you get a return ticket for the boat trip to the island. You can buy from the kiosks boat side or online and the ticket can be used on the fast or regular boat as whatever you fancy. Drinks are reasonably priced and if you are lucky you may get to see some of the island sea life on approach to the island, on the lower glassbottom deck.
Tom H — Google review
Fairly cheap price for two way ticket (10 euro). Boat on the way to Tabarca is rather small but fast, quite and lovely experience. In about 15-20 minutes you'll get to the island. The way back is a bit more chaotic as everyone on the island will need to leave in the evening. The boat on the way back is much bigger (also slower, 30 minute-ish). But still, make sure you start queueing on time in high season as it can het very crowdy on the boarding docks.
Nicolai S — Google review
Lovely boat crossing to the Island. Crystal clear chilly waters. Extremely busy on the first beach. We found a lovely little shallow cove to snorkel in. Cute little town and plenty of places to eat. 3 hours and then boat back. Friendly staff.

If you're on the hunt for an authentic Spanish dining experience, look no further than BueníSimo. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, often filled with locals who flock here for its honest and delicious offerings.
This is a restaurant as Spanish and as good as it gets. No pretentions and honest and good food. Classic menu and a lot of locals dining here. Outside the summer season a lot of restaurants in Santa Pola are closed because of a lack of visitors but here almost a full house tonight which is a good sign. We will definitely be back.

Seemed like a highly rated place, but we got disappointed. Starters were ok, but main dishes weren’t good at all. Had a weird taste. Not recommending to try octopus as it was gummy and probably cooked together with frozen vegetables as it had the same taste and veal steak wasn’t good as well.

Nice location next to the beach. Very crowded, you may even have to wait for a table to be vacated. ✅ Fish was fresh and delicious. ✅ There are English speaking employees and they are very friendly and helpful. ❗Salad portions are insufficient, you have to order extra. ❗Tables are very close to each other! ❗ Anchovy's interior was not cleaned. It was a very bad experience! In this respect, I can say it is an average fish restaurant.

The paella was one of the most delicious pealla that I have ever eaten in my life. The rice was al dente and the sea foods were really fresh. We ate small mussels as as starters and it was okay. Outdoor Activities
Platja de Llevant is an urban public beach in Benidorm, known for its recreational waters, lifeguards, showers, lounge chairs, and volleyball nets. Despite not having the quaint charm of a secluded cove, it is a beloved Blue Flag bay with golden shores and crystal-clear waters. This popular beach offers a bustling atmosphere and stunning views of the Mediterranean sea. During peak season, it can get crowded as visitors flock to enjoy the gentle waves and clean sandy shores.
Very clean, well maintained, public sandy beach. It felt safe, and people were civilized. Great background with the tall buildings in the back. There are plenty of restaurants on the shoreside. There are plenty of sunbeds to rent. Lifeguards on watch. The water is not too steep.

Levante beach was simply beautiful. It is well maintained, clean and safe. Sunbeds can be rented for only 6 euro for the day. Excellent place to relax.
Vin C — Google review
Lovely beach but very busy. Chairs and umbrellas €6 each, you just sit down and someone comes round to pay. Close to shops you have people walking up and down selling cocktails and offering massages. A place with taps to wash the sand off your feet. A warning women do walk around and lounge top less if this offends anyone.
Mel — Google review
A great beach. However, it is rather populated with many tourists and locals making it rather busy. You can hire a sun-bed at only €12 overlooking the Mediterranean, turquoise, yet quite transparent sea. 🌊
Awardedcat Y — Google review
I visited Platja de Llevant in Benidorm at the end of December, and the weather was surprisingly warm, not hot enough for a swim, but perfect to enjoy the sun and a long walk by the sea. The sky was clear, the water shimmered in deep blue tones, and the whole promenade was lively even in winter. Historically, Platja de Llevant has been one of the main symbols of Benidorm’s transformation. In the 1950s, this small fishing village began turning into one of Europe’s most famous seaside resorts, and this beach became the heart of that change, lined with hotels, cafés, and palm trees that still define the skyline today.
Patrizia P — Google review
The beach is absolutely stunning, with its picturesque scenery that instantly captivates anyone who visits. The golden sand is soft and inviting, creating a perfect contrast against the deep blue sky. The ocean itself is crystal clear, reflecting the sunlight in shimmering patterns that dance across the water. The waves are gentle and soothing, making the beach a tranquil spot to relax and enjoy nature’s beauty. One of the highlights of this beach is the remarkably clean water. It’s so clear that you can see the seabed even from the shore, with fish occasionally visible as they swim by. The cleanliness of the water makes it perfect for swimming, wading, or just floating on the surface, letting the gentle waves carry you. In addition to the natural beauty, the beach offers convenient amenities like chair and sun umbrella rentals. This allows you to fully enjoy your time there without having to bring your own gear. You can easily rent a comfortable chair and a large umbrella to provide shade, making your day at the beach even more relaxing. Overall, the combination of breathtaking beauty and thoughtful conveniences makes this beach a perfect getaway.

My Days in Benidorm 🥰 🌸❣️ It was August, and Benidorm welcomed us with 41-degree weather 🥵. What wonderful days we had at the beach, strolling through its streets, trying out restaurants, watching the sunrise, or walking at night while enjoying the nightlife. We’d wake up early to enjoy the sea and walk along the sand. Each day was unique and amazing! Located northeast of the marina and past a series of stone jetties, Platja Varadero offers a tranquil escape, especially during off-peak seasons when it's often deserted. The beach forms an arc with a long stone jetty on one side and is praised for its beautiful location, sandy shores, and pleasant residential area nearby. Visitors appreciate the convenience of a drop-off point at the beach to avoid carrying belongings.

Dog park
Our dog loves it there. Can get really busy in July and August. Rest of the year 3/4 other dogs at most. We like Rockys bar beside it for a quick beer/coffee after. Pity that's only the 2/3 months a year.
James M — Google review
Lovely dog friendly beach with great free parking
Simon H — Google review
Excellent dog beach when not busy but if busy it can be mayhem. Nice sands and easy to swim. Has a toilet and bar in summer.
Hodderkins 7 — Google review
Great 1 hour drive and the beach is completely occupied by 6 fishermen who have taken the entire area available for the dog to swim . It’s covered in weed and is basically not worth a ten min drive
Peter S — Google review
It allows dogs, but not camper vans !! The local council prefer to send the local fuzz several times a day to move on the vans instead of just erecting a sign. ¡Buen Idea!
Lawrence G — Google review
Nice shallow beach but beware of doggy ball-thieves. Owners, if your dog likes to play ball, please bring your own. Thank you.
Tedsmobilephone ( — Google review
Not recommendeble, only rocks no posible to go in the water and the steet is just 15 meter away with lots of campers and cars,no running without breaking a leg let's play with a ball forget it!
Dominica B — Google review
We went for first time here and our two dogs loved it and met other dogs there. It is lovely unspoilt part of the coastline here. Lovely place to enjoy a picnic and watch your dogs have a fun time without worrying about what non dog people might think. We went twice in one week.

Cafeteria
If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, "Good Mood" is the place to be! Nestled near the beach, this cozy bistro offers an eclectic atmosphere that perfectly complements its delicious menu. Guests rave about the generous portions and mouthwatering flavors, from juicy burgers to flavorful pizzas topped with fresh ingredients. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming vibe, ensuring you feel right at home.
The high quality of the food and service may surprise you in this small neighborhood bistro style restaurant. Well worth a visit.

Really a place you might as well just forget. One of the most arrogant and rude waitresses on the the Costa Blanca works there. Food / Pizza is average but combined with terrible service it is not worth the time and money.
Olaf D — Google review
Nice place watch football and eat pizza or drink beer or wine in good prices. Best service. Pizzas not napoletana, but italiana in good taste.
Tomasz M — Google review
Good light bites. Nice coffee. Service can be a bit of a hit and miss, they have regularly changing staff.
James — Google review
Nice and cozy pizza place, we drove in this great area, and we wanted to get a quick pizza. The staff were so friendly and made pizzas as we requested though they were closing. Spreading love
Omar A — Google review
The pizza, while watery (we ordered a pizza with fresh tomatoes, so I feel this is expected) tasted great. The location itself has some construction going on nearby but it did not affect our experience, and the staff were amazing.
Ryan L — Google review
Took almost an hour to bring simple pizza, burger and pasta. Then after crazy wait they didnt bring one pizza. Been waiting for 30 min while writing thos and still hasnt come. Never again Crew kept ignoring other customers also.
Lenni S — Google review
It used to be one of my favourite places in Santa Pola, but not sure if it will be in the future. Somehow I am starting to avoid this place, some waiters are rude some, though some are still very helpful, location is great, but it is not enough. Used to be best place for breakfast, but it seems that prices are rising fast and quality of the food and the service down.

Pizza restaurant
Soleluna is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Known for its delectable lobster pasta and mouthwatering pizzas, including the standout carbonara pizza, this restaurant truly excels in flavor. The attentive service provided by Alvaro, who skillfully manages everything on his own, adds to the charm of the place. Guests rave about the quick meal service and warm hospitality from staff members like Marcus and Dennis, making everyone feel special as they enjoy their meals.
Food was good, got the lobster pasta and a few pizzas, the carbonara pizza being the best of all the dishes. Alvaro was very busy all night on his own keeping tables topped up on drinks and serving. Service was very good compared to local restaurants for one person
David S — Google review
Pasta was great, service was ok. Came for a birthday lunch at 2pm. Was about to order coffee when the waiter came with the bill. Announced it was 4pm and they were closed. Very strange to just end a meal and basically kick out paying customers. Had a birthday balloon on display and the waiting staff didn't even manage a happy birthday. Customer service is very important and it's lacking a bit here.
John B — Google review
The best pizza in Gran Alacant. Very delicious pasta. Meals served very quickly. Servis top! We took starters and main dish for 3 and paid around 70€. Top place!
Michalina K — Google review
A very disappointing experience! We ordered 2 pasta dishes and 1 pizza, and neither of us were able to eat any of it. First and foremost we got the wrong pasta, and the waitress did not want to admit the mistake and wouldn’t give us a new dish. The pasta was overcooked and mushy. The other pasta was hard on the outside and gloopy on the inside. The pizza was more like a soup than a pizza, and the cheese was sticky like a gum! The waitress did nothing when we told her we were not pleased with the food, and we had to pay full price for everything. Do not recommend this place, we will not come back! On our way to Tuttis to enjoy some real costumer service

Food was excellent, staff even better. Last one in by a mile, treated me so well we ended up drinking limoncello and shutting the place down together :-). Hi Marcus and Dennis! I’m blanking on the 3rd person’s name - I’m sorry! I’ll be back!
Bill H — Google review
IF you want great, good, the best, most tasteful, delicious pizza go to this place. I almost wanted to buy one more just because it was so GOOD. The chef Emanuel just delivered the Best pizza in Alicante area.
Odd-Steinar M — Google review
Good food and nice staff. Sunset terrace and Italian hospitality.
Darren H — Google review
Best pizza in Spain end really good service. Try this place in the first part of your Holliday so that you have the chance to go back several times before you leave.
