British restaurant
Breakfast restaurant
The Ivy Marlow Garden is a stylish and airy spot in the heart of Marlow, Buckinghamshire, offering relaxed yet sophisticated all-day dining. It features a long, classic bar serving seasonal British fare and afternoon tea with a contemporary twist. The restaurant seamlessly blends modern flair with traditional charm, creating an atmosphere of refined sophistication. Patrons can indulge in a curated selection of culinary delights while experiencing afternoon tea in a setting that combines the best of both worlds.
The menu struck the perfect balance between fine dining and comfort, offering a rich selection with some much-loved classics alongside more inventive dishes. Every plate we tried was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed. The dining area itself is stunning, filled with lush plants and lovely artwork that create a warm, stylish atmosphere. We were seated at a cosy corner table with large cushions, which was incredibly comfortable.

Reliably good food. Birthday extra dessert was a nice touch. Service is not so reliable, we felt they were prioritising clearing other tables ahead of taking our food order. Our second drinks order apparently got lost between the till and the bar - "it didn't print" - but that's not good enough, the drinks when they finally arrived, after we finished eating - should have been on the house.
Andrew D — Google review
Visited The Ivy in Marlow to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The venue is stylish and the food was excellent – beautifully presented and tasted great. However, service was quite slow, likely due to being understaffed. Despite mentioning it was her birthday on arrival, it wasn’t acknowledged again, even though we saw cakes being given to other nearby tables. A bit disappointing considering we spent over £200. Great food, but the experience didn’t quite match the price or the occasion.
Gurpal A — Google review
The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are super friendly and the restaurant is clean. The food comes out pretty quickly and is well presented.
Felicia G — Google review
We visited The Ivy for lunch, we hadn’t booked a table and got seated straight away. The staff are very attentive and polite they served us straight away. The fish and chips were delicious and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend a visit.
Kim M — Google review
I visited The Ivy Marlow Garden with my sister for her birthday. In the booking notes, I asked for something sweet with a candle to celebrate but unfortunately this was overlooked. The starters (sourdough bread) arrived, but the mains took an hour to come out, which really slowed down the meal. The wait was so long that we actually ran out of things to talk about - and that never happens! We ended up asking for the bill as we had to leave and I had hoped they would still bring the birthday treat but nothing came. The food itself was fine, and the garden seating area is very cute and well decorated. Sadly, the service was slow and disappointing, especially for a special occasion.
Nabeela K — Google review
We had a wonderful afternoon tea at The Ivy Marlow. The setting is absolutely stunning — elegant and relaxed, perfect for a special treat. There was a great selection of cakes and sandwiches, all beautifully presented and very yummy! The location is ideal too, as it’s perfect for a nice walk afterwards to round off the afternoon. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a delicious and relaxing experience in Marlow.

Mediterranean restaurant
Megan's at Liston Court Restaurant in Marlow offers a delightful Mediterranean dining experience. Customers can enjoy a variety of appetizers, including Halloumi, Calamari, and Lamb Harissa Hummus. The main courses feature options like Plant Based Lamb Kebab and Lamb Open Kebab, while the kids can indulge in pancakes and flatbread pizza. The staff is friendly and attentive, although the service may be slightly slow as they settle into their new roles.
Lovely welcome, on a busy Friday evening. The staff are lovely, and we were first served by Keira, and then Mehrab. They were both very attentive, courteous and offered suggestions on the food and checked on allergens. Delighted with the service and the food is excellent - I recommend the sea bass, crispy skin! Will be back soon.

Loved our latest visit to Megan’s! We’ve been several times before for lunch but tried brunch today and it was lovely! We had the Turkish eggs with an added sausage and it was delicious and super filling! Great service from Mike who was also super engaging and helpful, similar to the lovely member of staff who originally seated us. Keep up the good work and we’ll be back soon.

What an amazing find on our brunch trip to Marlow! Staff were all just lovely - so friendly and helpful, food was amazing- we had the SHAKSHOUKA (the Shakshorizo, with chorizo) an impressively-good coffee and an amazing Orange & Almond cake. We will definitely be coming back!

Initially I thought I am stepping into an interesting restaurant. It was very inviting with all the fleshy interior design. To my horror they took us at the back, where the tables almost touch each other , no privacy to talk. I couldn’t understand why they showed customers at the back. The service was terrible and really rude. Please can we give training to the girls how to work in hospitality?? The food was all right, but so small and overpriced. Marlow is quite classy, this was a totally bad experience
Nusynasy S — Google review
Came here for dinner and the atmosphere was perfect. We had the sharing skewer platter which was delicious and a good size, although might be a bit spicy (esp the Koftah) for someone who's not used to it! The cookie dough for desert was decadent and highly recommended. Big thank you to Mike, who's attentiveness and charisma definitely made our experience a 5/5 one.
Karim A — Google review
Interesting addition and hidden gem to the town offering Middle Eastern style food. Stylishly decorated inside and comfortable split between different rooms with some outside seating. Not cheap but also not expensive. Food very fresh but our mezza dish for its price ideally should have had some salad included with red cabbage which is low cost. Extensive menu also offer breakfasts. Worth a visit.

It was absolutely delicious and Sam was fabulous and fantastic! Highly recommend for anyone that wants good food and service to come here!

Pub
Nestled in the heart of Marlow, The Old Brewery stands out as a vibrant sports pub that caters to enthusiasts and casual fans alike. This modern gastropub is the perfect spot for catching all the major sporting events, featuring three large TVs and even a full projector for an immersive viewing experience. With BT Sport and Sky channels available, you won't miss any action from your favorite teams.
We visited this pub on a sunny day just for drinks. Sitting outside, we enjoyed the 2-for-1 cocktails and a few pints. It was a great spot to relax and soak up the weather. We had a nice time and appreciated the lively, pleasant atmosphere.
Highway V — Google review
Sadly not a very good visit. The pub was half empty for the rugby and most tables reserved. It got to the point where people were being turned away, yet there was still masses of space on offer. The whole premise of capacity controls and reservations is very archaic and a bad hangover from the pandemic, and not a very good one. A public house should be for all. If this is the business model for some pubs then no wonder they struggle! You don’t want loads of dead space when you could be filling every nook and cranny. Besides this, issues ensued in that I ordered a pint of Roasted Nuts which was completely off and tasted like vinegar. I told the barmaid and she reluctantly offered me another ale. I went for another Rebellion ale (can’t quite recall which), but it was barely passable. Having looked forward to some nice local ales and expecting them to be nice they were very poor and shouldn’t have been on. I should’ve taken the second ale back, but the hostile reception I got from doing so once already made it feel awkward. The missus had strawberry daiquiris on 2-4-1 from the tap and they were mostly froth and of really poor quality. The drinks and service here were very poor and the whole business model was quite hostile. I think half the pub was reserved for under 18s which is quite bizarre! They need to take pride in what they serve and how they deal with customers a lot more here. I wouldn’t hurry back but that said I would hurry back to Marlow either truth be told. The pandemic is in the last and best left there!

Excellent, well priced pub in the middle of Marlow high street. Marlow has so many expensive cafes and restaurants that it's impossible to get a reasonable coffee or meal but this pub has great ambience, fantastic decor with historical photos, booths and large screens everywhere, very clean, £3 cafe latte and £8 meal including a drink on weekdays! Lovely lady manager. Very clean toilets. Go here and avoid all the pricey places.
Andy — Google review
On my second visit to the pub, I had an issue with my meal, but the manager was very kind and helped us by replacing the dishes. The food is really good, the atmosphere is great, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It will definitely be a must-stop on my visits to Marlow.

This is THE place to go in Marlow for a fan service live sports experience day. We went to watch the Six Nations finale on Super Saturday, and it couldn't have been better! Great atmosphere, great food, and great service. The manager is a super friendly Albanian guy who totally gets what customers want. A safe, exciting live sports venue full of screens, and when the big match is on, the lights go down, and the volume goes up! Book a table on the website as it gets super busy. We will be going back for every big game day. Love it!! 💥

I visited this pub while in Marlow. The atmosphere was very nice. The staff were very friendly (Indrit & Ivana), even though they seemed busy with many customers. The food was very filling and delicious. I visited with my wife and two friend's. We ordered beef burger and fish chips and we were full to the brim. I will recommend to my friend's and family.

Lunchtime special on a roasting hot Monday - sandwiches and fries with a free drink from £8. Great value, good atmosphere and the woman who served me was spot on, very friendly. I had the hand battered fish cibatta and my wife had the cubano sandwich. Both very filling and tasty hot. Nice clean pub which I recommend.

Wherever you sit you can watch tv if you would like 👍 for those who like football ⚽️ matches… but we were in the middle of the day so the music was not to loud so we were able to have a conversation 🙂 Recommend

Higginson Park

Park
Higginson Park, an award-winning 23-acre park located along the banks of the River Thames, offers visitors a picturesque setting with lush lawns and beautiful flowerbeds. The park features walking paths and viewpoints that provide stunning views of the river. Visitors can also enjoy activities such as renting rowing boats or taking relaxing passenger boat trips from the jetty. Additionally, there is a playground for children to enjoy and an outdoor cafe for visitors to relax and take in the scenic surroundings.
Lovely park, accessible for all. Family and dog friendly. Lovely long walk along the river and there is a cute cafe as well. Perfect for a picnic as well! Definitely recommend. What I would say is be careful of seagulls because there are a few rogue ones but 99% of the time you fine

Marlow is such a lovely town — peaceful, scenic, and full of charm. We spent a wonderful day at Higginson Park, which is beautifully maintained and perfect for a relaxing walk or picnic by the river. The highlight was hiring a boat from The Little Green Boat Company. The staff were so friendly and explained everything clearly, making us feel comfortable right away. Cruising along the Thames was an unforgettable experience — calm water, stunning views, and total relaxation. A perfect way to enjoy the natural beauty of Marlow. Highly recommended!
Manu S — Google review
Lovely park by the river. Children's play area, a couple of cafes and public toilets. A place to relax on one of the many benches, stroll along the river or watch a cricket match.
Jan F — Google review
Beautiful park, with the river running beside it, great for walks with the family. Also, lovely update to the children's play park. My two had lots of fun climbing and swinging on numerous apparatus. The benefit of having a fence around the play park helps keep my mind at peace too. With two kids you're always with one and watching the other over your shoulder. Knowing they are safe with the fencing around helps a lot with any anxious feeling on the day.
Hayley G — Google review
Lots of cherished memories in this park. It’s lovely, an incredible walk along the Thames with historic homes and natural wonders. I captured these on 35mm on the my last visit

Went here recently as my wife was doing a charity walk that went over Marlow bridge. This park is a brilliant place people of all ages, but especially those with young children. The play park is really good and has a great range of equipment for all ages of child. It's also right on the banks of the Thames so a great place for watching boats and wildlife. The cafe is lovely and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The toilets were in very good condition and very clean.
Pete H — Google review
Great for picnics on sunny days or to Moor up & chill on your boat. Moorings are owned by the council and are the most expensive on the Thames, but typically council they are poorly maintained with mooring posts about to fall into the river, probably with your boat floating downstream with them. Great location close to high street shops & bars.

Nestled on the bustling High Street, Zizzi Marlow is a delightful Italian chain restaurant that specializes in serving up delicious pizzas and calzones presented on rustic wooden boards, alongside traditional pasta dishes. Housed in a charming listed building that once functioned as a brewery, this eatery features spacious interiors with stunning vaulted ceilings. Just a stone's throw from the picturesque River Thames and historic Higginson Park, it’s an ideal spot for both locals and visitors alike.
Always a favourite — especially this time with great company Zizzi Marlow has become a bit of a go-to for me — every visit is consistently enjoyable, and this time was no exception. I went with my mate Jack, and we had a really lovely evening. The atmosphere is always relaxed and welcoming, the staff friendly, and the food reliable and full of flavour. It’s a place that feels easy — great for catching up, never rushed, and always comfortable. Their attention to making it family-friendly is a big plus too, and the setting on the High Street is perfect. Definitely one of my favourites in the area

A very good evening. Food was brilliant. Our waiters, Steve and Drill, were friendly and the décor looked lovely. I highly recommend it. The mushroom starter was fantastic.

Visited after the recent refurbishment and really enjoyed our lunch on the outdoor terrace. We had the Mediterranean Sea Bass, Chicken & Prosciutto Salad, Mozzarella Garlic Bread, and finished with a Caramello Sundae. Drinks were great too - the Sarti Spritz and Garden G&T were both spot on. Service from Lisa and Jarel was friendly and efficient throughout. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Marlow!
Michael J — Google review
We’ve visited Zizzi in Marlow several times whenever we’re in the area, and it never disappoints. It’s consistently child-friendly, which makes it a great choice for family meals. The prices are reasonable, and while the children’s portions can be a little on the small side, they’re usually just right to avoid waste—so it works well. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, especially for kids. We almost opted for Piccolino’s this time, but it didn’t feel particularly child-friendly when we walked in, so we were glad we stuck with Zizzi for a laid-back and enjoyable evening.
Heather K — Google review
Very friendly welcome from Steve and great service, attentive but not overly so. Lovely to sit outside in the secret garden which offered both sunny and shady options. Delicious lunch with something for everyone

Steve served us and I don’t usually write a review but I had to because he was amazing, he was incredible with our little 8 month old. I would come back just because of him! You don’t always come across people who are so welcoming, smiley and just make the experience much better. Zizzi’s are lucky to have him

Pub
During a visit to Marlow, I discovered the Duke of Clarence pub. The staff were friendly and accommodating. However, there were limited options for those with dairy or gluten allergies on the menu. After speaking with a member of staff and chef Demetry, they kindly prepared a delicious lunch by substituting ingredients. The salmon was cooked perfectly. It would be beneficial if they offered more choices for vegans and gluten-free individuals.
5 star lunch - Made a last minute decision to stop off for roast dinner yesterday and glad we did! It was really impressive - lovely roast beef, huge Yorkshire pud and loads of veg. Got some sides of cauli cheese and pigs in blankets to round it off. Great service too, we were checked on several times. There’s a nice atmospheric on a Sunday afternoon, very chilled. Will be back soon ☺️

Food was well priced. Full English came without black pudding and stacked on top of a bit of bread which was odd. But everything tasted good. Service was great, very friendly and turned the music down when asked. Top boozer

A big venue that ticks all the boxes. Pub food surprisingly delicious so kudos to the chef. Bar staff friendly and efficient. Plenty of other pubs around but we keep coming back here.

Poor service at the Duke of Clarence. The female manager with the green shirt was extremely rude, arrogant and snobby. - she attended all the tables around us (2 in total) - she blanked us when we asked her some questions about the menu - she didn’t want to serve us - an error was made on the steak order; she blamed her colleagues for the mistake, didn’t apologise for the mistake, she didn’t checked on us while she did on all the tables around. - we wanted to order dessert she went to all the table around and didn’t serve us. - we waived her she went behind the bar ignoring us after having spoken 5min to two tables close from us. Result: 1. Very disappointed on our Saturday treat 2. Didn’t order dessert because not looked after 3. Bad experience at the Duke of Clarence Please check my profile, I never left a bad review for a restaurant or coffee shop. Thank you for your attention

Stumbled on this place yesterday , looks amazing inside and the staff are lovely , the food is very basic and not that great, I had chicken flat bread and it was dry and lacked any flavour at all , my friend had fish and chips and the crushed peas were dry and the the fish wasn’t anything fantastic which is a shame as the inside was beautiful

Lovely family meal on a busy Saturday, early evening. Staff were really attentive, lovely and accommodating and service was fast! Best Caesar salad I’ve had in ages and the rest of the family loved their pizzas. Very pleased we chose this restaurant.

Popped in while I was in the area with work. Did not book took my chance and was able to get a seat. Table for 4 for 1 person result. Very quick and friendly service. Food was very nice and came out nice a hot. Drinks were a bit on the expensive side. Even with my Blue Light discount I felt the bill was very expensive. Pizzas were good. We booked in advance and were shown to a table tucked away in a corner. We had ti wait for other guests to leave before we could be moved to a better table. The place was very busy and under staffed. Not our best experience at a Pizza Express.

Good Pizza Express food as always, our waitress was ok... Not particularly friendly or efficient. They've done something very odd to the lights, we were blinded while the menus were in the shadows. Left our eyes feeling very odd. When we mentioned it to the waiter he adjusted some of the angles which helped, but I'm really not sure what they are aiming for with that!
Rachel E — Google review
Absolutely disgusted. I had an incredibly upsetting experience at this Pizza Express branch. A staff member named Charlie, a tall brown haired white male, was not only rude and dismissive, but also made offensive and racist remarks during my visit. I was shocked by the unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. No one should have to experience this kind of treatment—especially in a public setting where people go to enjoy a meal and feel welcome. This kind of conduct should NEVER be tolerated by any business. I expected far better from a brand like Pizza Express. I hope serious action is taken against this individual, because nobody should be allowed to treat customers like this and still keep their job. Until this is addressed properly, I will not be returning—and I’ll be warning others as well.

Sindhu by Atul Kochhar is a sophisticated restaurant located in Marlow, offering modern European cuisine with a focus on the flavors of the Punjab and Rajasthan. The swish wood-paneled rooms create an elegant ambiance, complemented by a real log fire. The restaurant presents guests with a variety of dining options, including a la carte and tasting menus featuring interesting Indian wines.
We visited for the Valentine’s Day meal and it was such a great experience. We have been before and decided to try the set menu this time. We will definitely come back, especially for special occasions. The set menu was a really fun talking point. All the food was delicious but the main was absolutely stunning.

This was gifted to us as a birthday meal and to begin with we were slightly frustrated at the restaurant being an hour away from home and the lunch menu not being to our liking as vegetarians. I called the restaurant and they were happy to offer us alternatives. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is in a scenic beautiful location worth the drive. It is on a lake with stunning views. We loved the ambience and service. The food was also amazing. We ordered off the al a carte as well as the lunch menu thinking their would not be enough. Portions were good and more than enough. The aubergines were the best I have ever tasted, 10/10. The daal was not rich and a perfect consistency. The only minor complaint is the sauce with the paneer. Other than that all the food was lovely. Service 10/10. Would be visiting again and planning a meal to take our mothers for a treat. The gulab jaman is a must try

The staff are very knowledgeable and explained every dish and glass of wine to us. They are very alive to food allergies and intolerances, so quite flexible with the menu. It's a great place thank you Atul for another amazing experience.

I had the pleasure of dining at Sindhu by Atul Kochhar, and the experience was truly memorable. While it is on the expensive side, every detail made it well worth it – from the beautifully crafted dishes to the warm ambiance. A special mention to Abhishek, Tian, and Jaspreet, whose service was outstanding. They were not only professional but also kind, generous, and genuinely attentive, which elevated the whole dining experience. Their hospitality made us feel truly valued and cared for throughout the evening. Sindhu is definitely a place for those who appreciate fine dining, impeccable flavors, and exceptional service. I look forward to visiting again

Absolutely amazing food at this restaurant. Every course was delicious and the staff were attentive and fast. Beautiful views of the Thames from the window.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Sindhu by Atul Kochhar, and it was perfect from start to finish. The restaurant’s elegant décor and stunning River Thames backdrop created a serene, picture-perfect setting. The food was outstanding — the aloo tikki chaat and paneer tikka were flavour-packed starters, followed by the fiery yet balanced chicken 65. The veg biryani, rice, and daal were fragrant, comforting, and beautifully presented. Drinks were just as impressive: the coconut & pineapple lassi transported us to the tropics, while the kiwi & lime was fresh and zesty. Service was flawless. Jaspreet welcomed us warmly, Tian provided attentive, friendly service, Abhishek crafted the perfect drinks, and Chef Aurelia showcased true culinary artistry in every dish. If you want exceptional Indian cuisine in a stylish riverside setting with top-notch service, Sindhu by Atul Kochhar is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Restaurant
"The Hand and Flowers" is a charming, whitewashed pub that offers an exceptional dining experience with a modern twist. The restaurant, led by Tom Kerridge, is renowned for its elevated pub classics and top-notch cuisine. The cozy bar and terrace provide a perfect setting to enjoy a wide selection of drinks before heading to the quirky dining room with period beams and pillars. The menu features carefully prepared pub dishes under headings of Meat, No Meat, and Sweet, all bursting with punchy flavors.
I went for lunch along with my fiance as well as my Mum and her husband. We were all blown away by the quality of the food and the relaxed but still incredibly well organised and sharp staff. Three of us got the lunch menu which was £65 for three courses all of which were good portion sizes and delicious. The complementary bread was excellent but the whitebait was out of this world, salty and a bit smokey, excellent with a beer! I had the classic menu for £95 which was just amazing, the cod scotch egg was unique and rich, the pork belly was the best I have ever had and the rum cake was a nice and light ending to the meal. Even with the couple of drinks we had I thought the overall value for lunch was incredible and will be happy to come back next time I am in the area. They even let us go into the kitchen to see the magic happen and the kitchen staff answered some questions we had, which was very fun!

Visited for a special occasion and was not disappointed. Had the three course "house" menu at £175pp. Food was, as you'd expect, superb - focus seemed to be on really good classic dishes, rather than crazy molecular gastronomy. The atmosphere was pretty informal, no dress code, chatty, friendly staff. The venue is a good old fashioned British pub - low ceilings and beams, a little dark, but air-conditioned and comfortable. A really enjoyable experience. Whole thing came in at a little over £420 for two inc a single glass of wine, non-alcoholic cocktail and two teas.

I’ve been to hand and flowers twice now and both times it was exceptional. The food is powerful and filling. The service is very good but a little stuffy and impersonal for my taste. I don’t know if they are just young and so are nervous but I would love a more friendly service as compared to the ‘don’t look the guest in the eye’ stuffy kind. But this is a minor note if I’m being picky. All said and done the whole ethos of this restaurant is basically perfect. The sausage roll is not for me - I prefer the puff pastry as compare to this more brioche style. The haddock omelette is the best you will ever have. The main courses are very filling and full of flavour and very well prepared. The desserts here are a standout so make sure you have room. Veteran note : go really hungry, you will be fed here.

Wonderful birthday meal for my wife. Easy to park and seated promptly upon arrival. Wide choice of menus and all food was well portioned, tasty and beautifully presented. Staff were lovely and attentive.

We had lunch today and both my husband and I agreed that we had some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. We advised in advance that I’m dairy intolerant, and I was given a separate / adapted menu upon arrival, with choices for all 3 courses. Thank you for showing how amazing dairy free food can be with a bit of creativity and great skills. The staff were attentive but not over-fussing, which we felt was a good balance. The venison alone was worth the trip from Essex!

What an amazing place! The food was exceptional as expected but what we really loved was how relaxed the place is. The staff are fantastic, service as you would expect from a 2 Michelin stared restaurant. Very highly recommended

The vibrant and attentive staff provide excellent service, helping patrons navigate the wide variety of delicious dishes on offer. The menu features traditional Thai staples with an emphasis on seafood, including tapas-style options perfect for sharing or for those with smaller appetites.
Honestly the absolute best Thai gaff going 🤤 I've been here a few times and held off reviewing - to get an idea of consistency - and there is no doubt in my mind that that this 100% needs to head up North. Superb food and service, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. 🙏

Group of 5 of us went to celebrate our daughters Birthday. She was the only one that had been before. The food was amazing! Even the prawn crackers were the best we’ve ever tasted. I had the salt and pepper chilli mushrooms to start and the chilli and basil stir fry with slow cooked beef as my main course. We can’t recommend the Giggling Squid highly enough. The staff were great too - so were the cocktails! Will definitely be coming again soon.

Absolutely love Giggling Squid in Marlow! The food is always fresh and full of flavour – the Green Thai Curry (both veg and chicken) is a personal favourite. Our first time at Giggling Squid in Marlow. Lunch for two and our total bill was about £77. We ordered the chilly & salt squid, duck spring rolls, Tom Yum fried rice, Chicken & Prawn pad Thai and the Drunken Ribs. I also ordered a medium glass of South African white wine. The squid is excellent.

Absolutely stunning food. Could not fault a thing. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Cocktails were fantastic. Gutted we live in Kent and only visiting, but we will be back again for some more excellent dining. Give this place a try and you will not be disappointed! As mentioned further down, I have allergies. The lovely manager took my order and ensured that everything I ordered was safe to eat. I felt totally at ease eating here with my allergies. Thank you!

Atmosphere and food was great. Waitress struggled a lot to understand what we were ordering and returned numerous times to check she was putting the right order through. I also understand being attentive but the staff were potentially overly attentive which did make us feel quite rushed to order and clear our plates as soon as we finished. Also the numerous visits to our table did disrupt conversation a fair amount. Still enjoyed our time but service could definitely be more refined.

I’ve been to this restaurant several times in the past & I thought the massaman curry wasn’t quite as good as it’s been in the past, same with the green Thai curry which was more spicy than usual. The service was good, in fact the young lads working was very pleasant & managed the ordering of our drinks & food well. One point of feedback, they didn’t ask if we wanted a pudding which was fine as we didn’t however that could have been a lost opportunity.

Nestled in the heart of Marlow, The Coach is a delightful British gastropub that perfectly blends a chic atmosphere with a relaxed vibe. With its charming wooden beams and inviting decor, it offers an eclectic menu that caters to all tastes. Guests can indulge in carefully crafted dishes categorized under Meat, No Meat, and Sweet. Signature offerings include duck liver parfait and cottage pie, alongside their famous profiteroles for dessert.
Wow, this was the best food I ever had and it was my birthday. If you go to the coach you will be over the moon with the price, but more the food. Everything I had was the best thing I ever had. But the mango and pineapple choux bun was by far the best for me. We are going to become regulars. Even tho I live in Newcastle. Thank you so much for the best experience for my 42 birthday ❤️
Ian R — Google review
Had a good time here but not without its issues. The “pub” is very nice but also quite small, cramped even. I had what I suppose could be called a chef’s “table”, a seat at the bar sitting right in front of the head chief. I did enjoy watching the staff put things together, definitely a unique experience. The food was good but short of outstanding. Likewise the service was efficient but not what I’ve come to expect from a Michelin restaurant and certainly not warm and friendly. I enjoyed my meal at The Coach and it’s an easy recommendation but I’d think twice before a second visit.

We came to The Coach for our 1st Wedding Anniversary and it didn’t disappoint. The Coach has an Informal and relaxed feel inside, not too cramped or noisy. We loved every dish we had, highlights being the beef & Yorkshire pud, roast potatoes, mussels, scotch egg and the choux bun to finish. Friendly service and a place we’d definitely love to return to for another special occasion.

Cute and small pub🥰 All the dishes are “tapas” portion Highly recommend the liver parfait, it was very flavourful and the Brioche was toasted perfectly👏🏻 The coach burger was okay, the flavour was a bit underwhelming, the bun was dry. The hash brown was fried nicely tho, also it’s impossible to eat in one bite so it loses the joy of eating a burger The char-grilled cabbage was nicely seasoned with crispy rice crisp on top Sticky toffee pudding was delicious too

A world of small plate wonders. We had 6 plates and shared which was the right number for us. We sat at the bar overlooking the kitchen with Chef just infront of us. It was great to chat with chef and to watch the team working behind in a wonderfully calm and controlled kitchen. A unique dinning experience and well worth an evening. Great staff and wonderful food. Mussels a real hit with us both but to be honest it was all really good. We closed out with a couple of deserts to just make sure I was full enough. Thank you All at The Coach we will be back

Marlow has so much to offer in the food arena and Tom Kerridge is Marlow royalty in the town. The Coach offers a taste of Kerridge at a more affordable price then his signature gastro pub The Hand and Flowers. Having been disappointed by my last visit to the Hand and Flowers, I was hoping that my first visit to The Coach might offer me a different perspective on Tom's cookery but unfortunately I was again left slightly disappointed. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was busy and vibrant but the food left me feeling flat. The quail and scotch egg were overly salty, think of the rim of a margarita when gulping down the cocktail, and the roast potatoes with beef fat hollandaise were on the bland side, think Aunt Bessie's cooked in an air fryer. That being said, there were some highlights, which make The Coach worth a visit. The cauliflower soup with cheddar and marmite samosa was delicious, I could have eaten a plate of the samosa as it was so tasty, and the treacle tart with clotted cream was a fantastic sweet treat to finish with. Overall, lots of great stuff to pamper the palette but some dishes may leave you feeling a little flat when the bill arrives.

Had a wonderful evening here with my hubby, to celebrate our Birthdays. We had booked "The Sunday Coach Experience" which includes and overnight stay, dinner at The Coach, and breakfast and lunch at The Hand & Flowers. When we arrived at The Coach, we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The waiter did a fabulous job of describing the small plates menu, and it was a difficult decision to decide what to opt for, as everything on the menu looked so tempting! The favourite dish for me was the Smoked Haddock Scotch Egg, an absolute flavour explosion in the mouth. The balance of flavours of the smokey, salty, perfectly cooked haddock, and the delicate herbal notes of the parsley sauce, set all the taste buds dialed up to ten. My second favourite, and my hubby's top choice had to be the cauliflower cheese soup with a beef and marmite samosa - wow! I am not normally a lover of soup, but if all soups tasted like that, I certainly would be! And a special mention for the Roast Beef, with a Jus that I could have licked the plate for! The restaurant itself is smaller than I expected, but they do say, good things come in small packages! I think this may be our new annual Birthday tradition! Many thanks to all the team at The Coach for a unforgettable experience

Costa Coffee is a delightful counter-service coffee chain that serves an array of hot beverages, refreshing iced coolers, sweet treats, and satisfying sandwiches. In town, you can find two charming locations: one on West Street housed in a beautifully listed beamed building with an inviting upstairs area and a lovely garden; the other nestled in Higginson Park, attracting plenty of foot traffic.
Went into Costa Marlow the other day and the service was amazing!! I always come into this store because of the staff! Robert the manager is always so friendly, helpful and well appointed as well as the rest of the staff out! You can tell he runs this store very as passionately as if it was his own business! I feel like from the way I know how these big company’s work he is most likely underpaid and under appreciated! I think he needs a raise! As well as the rest of the team! Tania, Amanda, Joe and Bartley do an amazing job when Robert isn’t there!

Hadn't been to Costa in Marlow for quite some time. Thought we'd give it a try on a Sunday afternoon, 3pm. Sat on the new comfy sofa, near back of the place. Whilst there, the main guy working there decided to put a chain across this section and start cleaning tables, putting chairs on the tables, hoovering and bringing rubbish bags through. Made to feel very uncomfortable as a result. I asked if the store was closing soon, and was told no, it closes at 5pm. So why start closing off a section so early, esp when you have customers in there, wanting to relax and enjoy their drinks etc..? Won't be returning to this Costa in a hurry.
Darren G — Google review
I don't often post negative reviews but this costa is rather gloomy and dark with no atmosphere. The tables were grubby and it just felt soulless. It was also half empty. My daughter and I went in as she wanted to buy our pet a puppuccino which the staff kindly gave to us.other than that I suggest you try another of the many other coffee shops in the High street of the picturesque little town.

Dirty Costa! Last visit and wasn’t busy. 3 staff behind counter. Every table had trays and empty cups. A trolly full of dirty cups was blocking the coffee collection area. What a mess!

The atmosphere of this place is so uneasy! The tall manager with the top knot really makes me feel uncomfortable. I sit and get watched by every move. I’ve paid for my goods before even receiving them and yet get made to feel rushed into finishing my drink. I also do not like the way he speaks to other staff members who are actively serving customers and running the business more efficiently than himself. Think this store needs a new manager and consideration towards employees other than the manager of the site. Put it this way I don’t even want to go here myself as a customer let alone as an employee!!!

Lovely park, accessible for all. Family and dog friendly. Lovely long walk along the river and there is a cute cafe as well. Perfect for a picnic as well! Definitely recommend. What I would say is be careful of seagulls because there are a few rogue ones but 99% of the time you fine
Gina K — Google review
Great for picnics on sunny days or to Moor up & chill on your boat. Moorings are owned by the council and are the most expensive on the Thames, but typically council they are poorly maintained with mooring posts about to fall into the river, probably with your boat floating downstream with them. Great location close to high street shops & bars.

Marlow Bridge, a historic suspension bridge constructed in 1832, spans the River Thames and provides passage for both vehicles and pedestrians. Designed by civil engineer William Tierney Clark, it replaced an older wooden bridge due to increasing 19th-century traffic. Interestingly, this bridge served as the model for a similar structure connecting Buda and Pest in Hungary.
Marlow is a picturesque town located on the River Thames, offering stunning views and beautiful scenery that captivate visitors year-round. The charming riverside setting, with its lush green landscapes, peaceful waters, and historic buildings, makes it an ideal destination for nature lovers and photographers alike. The area is home to an abundance of wildlife, particularly birds, which can be spotted along the riverbanks and surrounding nature reserves. Whether it's a family of swans gliding along the water or a variety of other birds in the trees, Marlow offers a perfect setting for birdwatching. One of the highlights of Marlow is the scenic canal walk. Strolling along the towpath allows you to soak in the tranquility of the river, surrounded by beautiful countryside views. It's a great spot for a peaceful walk, or for those looking to capture stunning photos of nature. The charming bridges, quaint houses, and scenic backdrops make Marlow a perfect location for a photoshoot. For a unique perspective of the town and its surroundings, taking a boat ride along the River Thames is a must. The gentle flow of the river, combined with the breathtaking scenery, offers a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Whether you're exploring on foot, capturing photos, or enjoying a boat ride, Marlow's beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere make it a wonderful destination for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature.

Throughout my childhood, my school bus routes often took me past this bridge for 5.5 years while picking up my classmates. I've come to truly appreciate its remarkable architecture, which beautifully combines Victorian engineering with timeless elegance. On calm days, the way the stonework reflects in the water creates a stunning visual. Additionally, the bridge offers a pleasant pedestrian pathway that connects Marlow to Buckinghamshire. I also recall the Marlow Regatta taking place here, which adds to the area’s charm and is worth experiencing!

Stunning bridge and beautiful place to walk along the Thames River. The high street is full of fabulous shops, cafes and restaurants. A great place to stay the night or just stop for a few hours to explore.

Beautiful scenic place with park nearby for river walks. Plenty of restaurants & quaint shops on high street. Beautiful Everyman Cinema. Michelin star restaurants. Lovely walk across the bridge overlooking Marlow river watching boats & canoes going by.

Great place to walk along to or from Marlow high street. Takes you over the Thames for lovely views of the river and surrounding areas. Also provides plaques with small details about its history.

Lovely little town with gorgeous river views. Width restrictions on the bridge are a bit of a pain, but the place is 🤩

This town definitely worth a visit. I love the shops there and there’s a lovely afternoon tea spot overlooking a tiny waterfall.

Historic grade 1 listed bridge dating from 1832 that is currently undergoing repairs and restoration work The local council have said it was important to "preserve the bridge for the future", and it had consulted Heritage England and local heritage teams about the plans. It added that the 12 new bearings, which give support to the bridge deck, were designed to last for about 50 years.

Restaurant
The Two Brewers is a historic British pub located near the Thames, housed in a red brick building dating back to 1727. It offers a traditional neighborhood atmosphere and serves classic British pub food at reasonable prices.
From the moment I walked in, I knew I’d found something special. This place strikes the perfect balance between cozy local charm and top-notch service. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with just the right mix of buzz and comfort—ideal whether you’re grabbing a pint with mates or enjoying a quiet evening out. The staff? Incredible. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they care about creating a great experience for every guest.

Great pub by the river in Marlowe. Great walk from Cookham. Meal pre booked but had to wait an awfully long time to eat. That said the food was tasty and hot when it arrived. Such a nice day and able to sit outside. Toilets clean and nice atmosphere both inside and outside. Great for children and also very dog friendly with A doggy menu. Will give it another try but food does need to served quicker or told there will be a long wait. 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Lovely Sunday roast. Lots of choices of meats. Good variety of veg. Roasties and yorkshire pud as well. All beautifully cooked. Yummy puddings too! I had the berry crumble which had a really good amount of fruit in it.

Simple home cook food. Delicious pie and crumble. Amazing staff. Made us feel very welcome. Special mention to Sarah and Ihsan. They were so kind and helpful towards my friend who has health problems. The pub is cost and comfortable. Will be back

The food was delicious, staff were lovely and super accommodating. As we were a party of 10 I had sent in pre orders, I had made a mistake on one of the meals and didn't realize till the plates were brought out but our server was so nice and corrected it for us right away. Thanks again for helping us celebrate we all had a wonderful time! x

Popped in for lunch with no booking but got a cosy table inside. Great decor and good to see tables full with people for a Monday lunch. Shared 5 small plates and all very tasty. Staff really nice and attentive. Drinks are very well priced and would definitely return.

This is a great pub, newly refurbished & has a lovely space outside with reasonably priced food. However the bar staff leave something to be desired. Getting served is difficult & one of the staff just carried on moving dirty glasses from the bar until the gentleman next to me asked if he could be served. The answer we got was quite rude, telling us she couldn’t keep serving drinks when there were glasses to clear. The bar staff seemed more intent on chatting to each other than serving customers. I feel they need to step up their game if they want the place to be a success.

Wanted to try the food after the new refurb and new owners. Food previously was average at best, but it has now massively improved and is very good value too. Paid just over £100 (incl. tip) for 4 of us all having a main meal and a drink each. Roast was lovely and very good value and great portions. The pie was also fabulous and clearly homemade. Will definitely be making this regular and so pleased that the food standard has increased so much as always loved this pub but felt it was let down previously by average food quality. Well done on the refurbishment and even more well done on the food!! 😃👍

The Riverside Restaurant in Marlow offers a charming escape from city life with its old-school feel, independent shops, and beautiful riverfront. The restaurant boasts an impressive and varied menu, featuring well-presented starters like cullen skink and delicious main courses such as Aubergine and Sherherds pie. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the river while savoring dishes like Roast Beef and Yorkshire pudding, accompanied by excellent service.
We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife's birthday here. She loved it! The riverside view is magnificent. Hulya provided excellent hospitality, making our experience even better. While the food was average, the stunning view, lovely atmosphere, and Hulya's exceptional service made for a memorable celebration. Highly recommended for the ambiance and hospitality 👍🏻

Lovely afternoon in the sun on the terrace. Food was okay and unfortunately no draft lager available on the day. We booked using toptable website, however the outside tables were available without needing to book. Good access for wheelchair users from the carpark.

Such a lovely place to celebrate your special events. The price is really expensive but it worth trying once to enjoy the view. Staff are kind, too.

I do not recommend this place at all. We had the afternoon tea for two, and both the food and service were very disappointing. I told the staff that the cups were dirty and asked them to change them, but they refused and said, “We just changed them.” Also, they didn’t inform us that we could order for just one person. We ended up paying 101 for two people, and honestly, we couldn’t even eat the food — it was that bad. If you want to enjoy the place, just order for one person, not two.

We came for breakfast from the city to see the nature and enjoy a nice meal , but unfortunately our breakfast was over priced for the whole breakfast although we only wanted from the cooked meal (avocado on toast & fried egg) and the food so average and , we wanted to stay by the river side outdoor and they told us that it was under renovation. I thought that we could do some certain activities but there were nobody to guide us . The only nice thing was the nature.

It's a perfect place to sit at, but. The waiter didn't know their meny. We ordered the food, paid in advance and got our receipt, but then the restaurant manager came and changed the bill. The waiter had forgot the 5£ in forced tip. The Cappuccino were like water, and the salad were ok, but that's it. The view were a 5*, the sandwich were a 4*, the salad were a 3*, but the rest were a 2*

G&Ts at the bar are a stupid price. I ordered two double Hendricks and paid £43. They didn't even have cucumber to go with it. The wine was priced at over 3*, I checked using Vivino. OK, 3rd world problem, I know, but for the prices and the Michelin stars, I expected better in terms of service as well. It was all a bit brash. Having said this, I would go back because of the location and atmoshere.

Beautiful setting but bar staff should tell customers the price of the wine they recommend over and above a different one. That's the ethical and transparent method. We were told it would have been rude to do so when we were alarmed by the cost of the glass recommended.

Today I ate literally the tastiest vegan meal I’ve ever eaten. All of us loved what we ate but as someone who loves to cook and is vegan so often eating out is disappointing. Over the moon to find a restaurant in marlow with such high quality options, clearly made by someone who is passionate about food too. It could not be better located without be on the river - it’s right by the bridge - and to top it off, the service was excellent. Thank you Jess and Ben for looking after us this evening! Both were so welcoming and helpful and it was a treat to be served by them. So happy we booked for two more birthdays in December. Loved how each option was a bit different but consistently delicious! Best dish; truffle arancini (oh my goodness wowee!) but the cassoulet was also delicious with all the components together - such an exciting meal! I did not stay at the hotel but ate its food and could not recommend highly enough!

Fantastic food!! Roast dinner with unlimited roasties, yorkshires & gravy, £6 starters and deserts when added. The soufflées are incredible, up there with the best we’ve eaten anywhere, fluffy and light. Cheese to start, the most delicious pistachio soufflé for dessert - this is a Must try! Great refurb and atmosphere, great menu, friendly. Was very busy, so food service was a bit slow, otherwise excellent, would recommend.

A wonderful last minute two night stay at the hotel in a snug room. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious for a snug (room 17) and very clean and quiet. I was extremely comfortable and didn’t want to leave! Hotel is brand newly renovated, staff are welcoming, professional and make the stay that extra special. Breakfast was excellent with a wonderful wide selection - probably the best quality breakfast and choice ive had at an inn or boutique hotel in the UK over the last two months of travel. Parking was free right outside the front door overnight (6:30pm-8am + 2 hours from 8-10am) which was perfect. couldn't highly recommend enough. Special thanks to Mike!

An attractive and well situated pub/hotel. We had lunch here on the 8th October 2025. The restaurant had plenty of seating with tables well set apart. The ambience was good and our meal tasty and well cooked. Service was excellent, especially our wait-person, Jam, who was attentive and polite.

We went for Sunday roast today with friends and had really lovely food. There were lots of friendly waiting staff, quick service. Loved the bottomless Sunday roast, the roast potatoes were lovely and we just kept ordering more! Delicious desserts too. We had an excellent experience here! Our service was handled by Victoria, who was amazingly helpful and attentive. We started with the Vegetarian Board, which was absolutely delicious—the sourdough bread and pesto sauce were especially delightful. For mains, we ordered the Veg Pie, Tomato Risotto, and Ravioli. The risotto and ravioli are definite must-tries! To end the meal, we had the Pistachio Soufflé and Chocolate Torte, both of which were soul-satisfying. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend this place!

Amazing steak and service! Visited Mon 28th July. I must say the service from the staff was 100% and faultless. The whole team went out of their way to make my dining experience the best. Huge thank you to the lovely awesome lady who took my call earlier that afternoon and made sure I was seated in my favourite spot and that I had everything I needed. And also the chef who is simply amazing, very humble and wanting to please. A true gentleman. The steak and condiments were a true delight and I look forward to future visits. Huge thanks to the GM Vicky who is doing an awesome job here. Will be back, with family and clients. Thank you Gary Mander

Quality of the room was lovely but the kitchen extract fan was attached to the same wall as the bed head so was really noisy until circa 21.30. The heat pump for the (assumed) kitchen cold room started and stopped through the night which led to a poor nights sleep. Location is perfect. I wouldn't stay again only because of the the kitchen plant noises.

Nice pub serving decent bar food, but it was the kind that looked better than it tasted. My vegetarian dish completely lacked flavour. As ever the pate came with a tiny amount of bread so we paid for more to be able to eat the pate. Not quite hitting the spot for me, but very grateful that they're dog friendly!

It's a vibrant and energetic venue. I used to love going there on Fridays, especially when they had live music. However, during a recent visit, I was wearing a crop top layered with a shirt. Two female staff members approached me and, quite abruptly, insisted that I button my shirt or leave, citing that it was a "family establishment." I was taken aback. Many others around me were dressed far more revealingly and were under the influence of alcohol something I personally avoid, especially as I'm post-op. The experience felt jarringly out of place for England; it reminded me more of countries where women's rights are severely restricted. I felt singled out and humiliated. While one staff member did eventually offer an apology, likely because I asked for her name, the incident left me feeling deeply uncomfortable. To me, it was an unacceptable and discriminatory encounter.

If you're looking to indulge in authentic Italian flavors while exploring Marlow, Satollo is a must-visit destination. This charming cafe and wine bar offers a delightful array of fresh Italian dishes, including gourmet ciabattas, focaccias, vibrant salads, and savory arancini. The inviting atmosphere is enhanced by the rustic decor featuring wooden accents and hanging hams that transport you straight to Italy.
We stopped in for lunch by a recommendation of a local friend. We loved it. Very cool vibe with fantastic food and wine. The service was very friendly and warm. We split the cheese and meat charcuterie board (with a couple of glasses of wine each) and it was more than enough for lunch. Highly recommend this place, situated in a very cool foodie town.

Great spot for a coffee, beer, cocktail, or snack! The ‘mixed platter for two’ is absolutely enormous, generous amounts of meat and cheese, tasty pickled roast veggies, and bread. This place smells like a proper Italian deli - that’s how you know it’s good! Service is laid back, come here for a lazy afternoon catch up with friends. Indoor and outdoor seating. A few veggie-only options you’d expect from an Italian place - cheese and roast veggie panini and a couple pasta dishes.

A little bit of Italy in Marlow! I have been a customer of Satollo for many years....most definitely the best coffee in Marlow, Henley - everywhere in fact! The cafe interior is rustic and has a fabulous vibe and the outdoor seating in Summer or Autumn with the canopy and heaters make for a cosy place to sit. The cafe may be small, however, the food they serve is plentiful and delicious from Pesto Bruschetta (my favourite) Parmigiana, cheese/meat boards served beautifully and often can not be finished so you go home with a box! and another favourite, Grigliato sandwich or salad....yum! The staff are very polite and friendly and the new Manageress, Karolina is quick, efficient and able to "read" the room resulting in the service she and her staff give to be first class. It says it all when the young students come back to work there year after year! They remember your name and your coffee choice (which I love) and even ask after my elderly mother who visits now and again. The fresh homemade cakes and pastries are amazing....chocolate croissant being my grandchildren's favourite and the lemon cannoli is a must! Whether it is lunch/coffee with friends or a peaceful half hour on your own sipping a lovely cup of coffee or glass of wine, I would definitely recommend a visit to Satollo. Enjoy!

Charmed right from the start, I tried some delicious dishes and, to my surprise, the wine she recommended matched my taste buds perfectly. I’ll definitely be coming back more than once, and I wholeheartedly recommend this atmospheric place, where a mosaic of flavors and aromas blends in the air with the friendly atmosphere created by the staff

Had such a lovely morning tea here, the service was first class and waitress was very friendly. They have seating inside and a large covered outside area. There's a good selection of cakes which are really tasty and home baked. It was quite busy and a Saturday morning but food and beverages still came quickly.

I have been coming to Satollo since they first opened over 10 years ago, bringing an unexpected yet authentic slice of Italy to Marlow town centre. They serve the best coffee in the area and feature a great selection of Italian wines. Situated in a pretty courtyard off the main high street it's the perfect spot to share drinks & food with friends whilst watching the world go by and listening to fabulous Italian music. If you want a place at the weekend you'd better make sure you get there early! Buonissimo!

The Butcher’s Tap and Grill is a charming pub nestled in the picturesque town of Marlow, Buckinghamshire. This cozy spot has transformed into a vibrant gathering place where meat lovers can indulge in an array of hearty dishes, including succulent steaks, juicy chops, and mouthwatering burgers. With its inviting atmosphere enhanced by a recent revamp that emphasizes the classic pub experience while still showcasing its butcher roots, patrons can enjoy selecting their favorite cuts from the butcher's counter.
Our first time lunching at the Butcher’s Tap & Grill in Marlow and we were impressed! Dropped in for lunch on Sunday. I had the Korean barbecue Chicken burger w/ Parmesan Truffle fries (w/ a pot of smoked Garlic mayo) and my wife ordered the Sunday Roast Pork belly. She is a Sunday Roast connoisseur and said that this was hands down one of the best Roast Pork she’s ever had. The whole Sunday Roast is almost stuffed into a humongous Yorkshire Pudding! Total “show stopper”…and it’s a proper thick cut roll of roast pork belly with amazing crackling (& all trimmings ie- roast potatoes, carrots, creamed cabbage & apple sauce w/ extra gravy!) My chicken burger was pretty impressive too but I’ll admit I was battling a bad case of food envy looking at my wife’s plate! The fries were completely snowed under a blanket of Parmesan shavings and a super rich truffle mayo! Wow! For drinks we had a bottle of Brewdog IPA and Pimms’. Our total bill for 2 was just under £60. We recently moved into the area and are just 10mins drive away…can’t wait to return! Highly recommended. The customer service was lovely too.

Good food, nice spot, music, sports on screens. Food would have scored higher by scotch egg being served hot/cooked fresh & there not being such a gap between stater which came out really quick & main. (Almost had to order another starter as an interim as was getting hungry!) Also would be nice to serve chips in a bowl instead of a cardboard box (Cheapens the meal/makes it feel like a takeaway) Nice concept to sit at the butchers counter however the stools don’t height adjust (I’m not short & struggled)

I had a disappointing and unfriendly experience at this restaurant. My friend and I both ordered medium-rare Bavette steaks. However, when they were served, we immediately noticed a clear difference in color and doneness between the two steaks. I approached one of the staff members and explained that my steak, which I ordered medium-rare, was clearly undercooked and closer to rare, especially compared to my friend’s, which was properly cooked to medium-rare. Instead of addressing the issue politely, the staff member responded by asking, “Is this your first Bavette steak?” — a comment that felt patronizing and made me feel as if I didn’t know anything about steak. The steak was taken back to the kitchen to be recooked, but unfortunately, the situation only worsened. Part of the steak came back overcooked, while another part remained undercooked. It had clearly been quickly seared on too high a temperature, rather than simply further cooked. I raised my concern again, and I believe the manager came over. Rather than trying to de-escalate the situation, she chose to defend the kitchen by stating that all Bavette steaks are cooked to the same temperature. However, it was clear from the appearance and taste that the two steaks were cooked very differently. Overall, I did not feel comfortable being questioned about my experience with steak, and I was disappointed that the staff focused more on defending themselves than on resolving the issue professionally. I feel that this experience was not typical of the one which they wish to give.

Lunchtime date and The Mrs loves a burger 😂 only disappointment for her was the skin on fries, so luckily i ate them! Couldn't complain with the burgers we had (classic & special) & staff were attentive. Reasonably cool inside even though it was 30+ degrees outside. Layout is clever, especially the old bar being kept/showing certain meats/steaks etc. One simple advice to people, if you don't like meat, don't go, its not for you! 😂 Thanks guys! 👏👏

We came here for lunch on our way heading west. We enjoy Tom Kerridges shows and thought we try out on of his restaurants. The Michelin Pub in this town isn't dog-friendly and since we traveled with our English Bulldog we chose this place where she was welcome. Meat is the main thing on the menu here and they got a good selection. Fast food, Burgers, but also many nice meat cuts displayed on the butchers counter called "Meat Locker". Ordered a Scotch Egg for starters and for the mains the Bacon and Blue Cheese Burger and the Iberico Secreto pork steak. Some truffle and parmesan fries on the side and some blood sausage. Scotch Egg was served cold, which is ok. But for the price it was a very small serving. The Burger was of good quality, nicely grilled. Juicy, good flavours, loved the blue cheese. Fries were tasty as well. Blood sausage was solid. The Iberico steak was nicely prepared, medium as ordered. But compared to some Iberico pork we've had in Northern Spain it did fall a bit short. Setting in the restaurant is nice and welcoming, a bit on the louder side. Service was very friendly and attentive. The prices are a bit on the higher end, but the quality was there, so we've felt it's fair priced.

A great gastro pub which focuses on meat in its many forms. A carnivore’s dream of a menu with many variations of pub favourites. Truffles fries are worth checking out Friendly staff and draft Guinness.

Loud music, hot (no AC) , messy burger - very far from a relaxing lunch. More like eating in a club. Burger meat was nice. Sauce wasn't great and they had to wrap it all up in foil because it was spilling out all over the place, making it awkward to eat. Shut off the pumping music so people can hear themselves speak, install some AC and try to make a burger that doesn't need a spoon to scoop up everything that's spilled out maybe? Burger is meat, bun, sauce and gherkins. Nothing more.

We went here with friends for Saturday lunch, and it was brilliant. We sat outside and had access to both the main menu and garden menu. The staff were so welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived, making the effort to describe the menu and what they would recommend. It is expensive but you pay for what you get and that was a high quality of service and fantastic food with very large portions, so you have no issue paying that little bit extra as your certainly get your money’s worth. Would recommend to anyone and will be going back for sure!

Rebellion Beer Co. Ltd. offers informal tours of their independent brewery on the 1st Tuesday of each month, providing tastings and Q&A sessions. Their shop features a changing stock based on the season, offering bottles, barrels, and kegs of their IPA, blonde and red beers along with seasonal brews. The taproom provides a spacious area for enjoying their traditional and delicious ale at reasonable prices.
Awsome vibes and a real pleasure to experience, the staff are so passionate about the range of beers and are super friendly, they offer a membership which offers a 10% saving and also a tour of the brewery which I will 100% be coming back to enjoy! Stumbled across the range of beers as getting married next year and can order by the barrel, very well priced, reccomend visiting to try the selection and the shop has so much to choose from. They also offer a drive through service which is so unique but worth while if in the area!

A massive thank you to your team in the shop for helping me choose some fantastic beer and letting me taste test first. The whole experience was brilliant and stress free, hope to get a chance to visit again and buy some more of your amazing beers.
James G — Google review
Lovely brewery with lovely beer! Spent the evening there sampling their selection and had a very informative tour. The tour was more about the history of the brewery than the brewing process itself

Rebellion have made reliably great beer for ages, but they take it to another level with customer experience. Tap room is great with friendly staff, loads of beers as you would expect and at very reasonable prices. They deliver beer direct to your home !, including larger kegs and tap systems, so brilliant for parties. The shop is excellent too, selling bottled beers, fresh beer in many sizes of container, locally produced snacks and merch. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

We ordered a number of barrels and a lager keg with pump for a large private event at a Village Hall, as well as wines and 200x wine and pint glasses. Big thank you to Connor for being able to accommodate a delivery time to coincide with when we had access to the Village Hall on the Saturday. The delivery driver was really excellent - took great care and time to carry everything in and place it where it was needed. He also took time to make sure everything worked as it should, and checked we were happy with everything before he left. Great service.

Had their beers before, and liked them. Even better here because they've only travelled short distance across the premises. Staff friendly and very helpful. None of the "I only work here" vibe you can get in some places. Staff seemed only too willing to help. Carrying purchases from the shop to the car for my friends was offered, and done so, without even asking. Brilliant! Shop was pleasure to browse. Cracking sage and onion Scotch egg. Will definitely be back. Thanks all.

Had a fantastic evening at the tap yard and a tour of the brewery. Tour guide Sammy was brilliant, very knowledgable and friendly! Great value for money, lots to drink!

Have lived near hear for years and never visited as I don't drink beer. Came with a friend today and was amazed at the selection of beers and some ciders they have. There's a bar that serves pints of beer and 1 cider at good prices. Next door is a farm type shop selling beer, ciders, gin as well as locally produced food and gifts. If that wasn't enough there is also a drive through collection ooiso you don't even need to get out of your car! The staff were all really friendly as well as being a lovely atmosphere there.

Fego Marlow is a trendy and modern cafe located in the charming town of Marlow. It is part of a small chain known for its inventive lunches, sandwiches, artisanal coffee, and delicious cakes. Despite its small appearance from the outside, the cafe offers a deceptively spacious interior with a larger conservatory-style room at the back. The menu may be relatively small but features fantastic dishes with great portion sizes. Customers highly recommend the Ranchero brunch dish and praise the amazing cakes.
What a fabulous brunch. Great menu with a good amount of choice. We had the full African , spicy scrambled eggs and the Mediterranean breakfast. All delicious. Will definitely be coming back here when next visiting Marlow

Quick service despite the queue. We got the table instantly and the food was served within 10 minutes. My husband loved his cafe latte. We ordered beef & chicken burgers and paid a total of approx 40£ for the meal. Beef burger had a double patty, very juicy and delicious. Pickles added the right amount of quick. Chicken burger was ‘less packed’ in my opinion as the patty seemed smaller than the buns so there were mouthfuls where i didn’t get any chicken, also it had an odd fruity fragrance to it which i didn’t quite like. Chips were ample and crispy.

A really awesome coffee shop ☕️ Breakfast was amazing topped with proper coffee! Well located on the main street through Marlow, close to the bridge over the Thames

Delicious and healthy lunch. Plenty of choice on the menu: breakfasts, brunches, burgers, vegetarian options, and even keto-friendly dishes. Very happy with it.

Our waitress, Tilly, was absolutely wonderful during our visit to Fego’s. She struck the perfect balance between being attentive and friendly, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. Tilly was efficient and professional, ensuring everything arrived promptly and just as we ordered, while still taking the time to check in with a warm smile. Her cheerful personality and effortless service really added to the atmosphere, and she made our dining experience feel extra special.

To celebrate my arrival in London 33 years, we decided to go to this pretty Italian restaurant in beautiful Marlow. The lunch set menu is very good value, the waitress is friendly and efficient, the food cooked for perfectly. We Will come back soon.

Enjoyed our meal here. It's off the high street, so is much quieter. Food was generally great. Getting bog standard frozen french fries for the chips side dish was a bit surprising, but I guess they really aren't Italian. Both the seafood pasta and lemon chicken were tasty, as was the garlic mushroom side

Food was lovely, however quite small portion sizes for the cost. Staff were very polite and friendly. Ordered 2 diet cokes for £7 which I would say is probably average cost these days, but cokes were very small, so we made them last throughout the 3 courses we had. The tirimasu was really good and probably the highlight of the evening. Nice enough, but had better Italian food elsewhere.

My family and I came here 30 minuets before they closed and they welcomed us in any way. Very accommodating and excellent service. We had a lovely dinner and enjoyed the food very much. Our server was exceptional. We will definitely be back in the future.

Ate here on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon and the food, service and atmosphere was perfection. 4 of us had different starters and mains with a cheeseboard for 4 to finish us off, with fabulous wine. Value for money in my opinion cannot be beaten in Marlow, keep up the great work, we will be back, outstanding!!

Classic Italian restaurant in a lovely setting. A la carte or set menu you a good range of dishes to choose from. Set menu is good value. Mussel starter, lasagne, calves liver and fish special mains good. Minestrone soup unbalanced with too many carrots. Mushroom risotto needed more seasoning. Staff welcoming and attentive bit a little subdued. Good venue to catch up with friends as we're not rushed. Would dine again.

Cafe
Tin Town Coffee is a charming café that offers excellent coffee and delicious food. Visitors rave about the hot and strong coffee, as well as the delightful bacon ciabatta. The friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere, even accommodating last-minute orders with a smile. The menu features a variety of options including hot Italian filled rolls, salads, paninis, and an assortment of delectable cakes.
Tin town coffee is a lovely hidden gem! I was so happy to have found this spot while passing through Marlow with my boyfriend. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, family friendly, creative and everything it was meant to be. The man at the cash register was so pleasant and friendly. The furniture was original and creatively done with recycled coffee bags. The flat white was on point. The bacon roll was out of this world! I would highly recommend this spot!

For a small coffee shop in Marlow Bottom, they do the best fresh seeded roll bacon sandwiches and hot drinks surely in whole of Berkshire! Love this place

Well worth the detour from the Chiltern Way to stop here for lunch. The coffee and tea were excellent. The hot Italian filled roll was delicious, and although they were out of hummous for the salad, the friendly staff were pleased to substitute some egg mayo to augment the falafel salad. A very reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended.

Called in after a local walk. Excellent variety of cakes/ pastries. Coffee and drinking chocolate. It was very busy with all the outside tables under a canopy occupied so we sat inside. Excellent service.
