Museum
Specialty Museums
The Limonaia del Castèl is a hilltop museum that offers an immersive experience in the charm of ancient lemon cultivation. Easily accessible from the historic center, it provides an opportunity to stroll through picturesque streets adorned with ceramic tiles. The museum showcases old methods of cultivation and features various citrus fruits such as lemons, cedars, grapefruits, mandarins, and more.
To be honest, I only went in because my boyfriend insisted. I hadn’t looked it up beforehand, and I really didn’t expect much from a place with a 2 Euro entrance fee. But it turned out to be a lovely experience. Walking among the lemon trees and listening to the sound of water flowing from the fountain was so peaceful. It’s also a great spot for taking photos and to get a nice view over the city from above.
Ezgi K — Google review
Beautiful historic lemon garden with stunning views over Lake Garda. The place is peaceful, well maintained, and full of interesting information about traditional lemon growing. A lovely spot to walk around and enjoy both nature and history. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Limone.
Roman D — Google review
Very cheap entrance for a very stunning view at the top. It was really interesting, very pretty. Probably just a once time visit but would recommend at €2pp and kids were free.
Gemma C — Google review
Limonaia del Castèl is a great place to visit, especially in the fall, when the lemons and related fruits begin to ripe - the lemons I saw here are among the biggest! The place hosts a small museum and has some information about the different fruits they grow. For a small fee you can see all that, not to mention the beautiful panoramas of Lake Garda. I highly recommend it!
Raul K — Google review
Very nice place to visit. Ticket only Eur2/person. We were there in August, most of the lemon were still green. I think it will be much more beautiful when they turn yellow.
Ivy N — Google review
It's a nice place to visit once you ate in Limone, since there is not much to do there, and ots pretty cheap to access. Around 20 minutes to walk around. If you have a stroller you can't take it with you. Better take a baby carrier. It's all the way up the town, but it's nice. Great views from there.
Orly H — Google review
Lovely castle, not accessible due to wet and slippery steep stairs, but amazing views of Limone and surrounding area. €2 entry and self guided walk.
Rosie L — Google review
Nice place with nice views of the lake, the lemon trees & the town. Reasonable entrance fee. Disappointingly, not much of a lemon smell! Not much else to do up there after admiring the views, but it’s an opportunity to take some nice photos.

Nestled in the heart of Limone sul Garda, Hostaria Al Buongusto is a popular dining spot known for its delectable Italian cuisine. This family-owned restaurant has been delighting patrons for over 30 years with its authentic dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The diverse menu features an array of options including fresh seafood, homemade pasta, flavorful pizzas, and succulent grilled meats.
Had lunch here for my husband's birthday and really enjoyed it. The staff were super friendly, and the vibe of the place was really nice. The food was delicious from start to finish, and the dessert was amazing. Prices are a bit steep, but overall a great spot for a special meal.
Gayathma P — Google review
The food is delicious and very fresh. The menu had interesting dishes of sea food. Limited choice of typical offerings for kids in this restaurant, such as pizza and/or traditional pasta. So, keep in mind if you have a difficult kid that likes limited dishes. If you want to secure your table, go early for lunch as it gets quite full quickly.
Sylvia P — Google review
If there was 6 *, this place would have deserved it. From the very entrance that is essentially a walk through a very authentic cobblestone passageway with lemons and oranges growing all the way to the central courtyard, it is a spectacular and specific experience. But let me focus on people working there - Sam from Kazakhstan was our waiter and he was very cool and playful person. At the same time playful and entertaining but also very professional. He was not the only person serving us but he was the most memorable. All other were also very good in what they were serving. The food, the food was majestic. We had Parmigiana. I was a bit doubtful, not being aubergine fan. Regardless I enjoyed it very much, I actually could not how the cook made aubergine taste so much like it had dough (lasagne like) bellow. I felt basilico and tomato, as well as aubergine. Fantastic appetizer. For main course I had lamb and baked potatoes. It was good, not as spectacular as Parimiggiana, but correctly made. My wife had Paccheri with sausage sauce. He enjoyed it, and she has exquisit palate and I trust her. For desert we had tiramisu and also lemon mouse with rasberries. Both were exquisite. Really, really good. We were offered more than one complimentary drinks. Thanks Sam and Buongusto. See you next year
Andrej S — Google review
Absolutely spectacular food. One of the best steak dishes I’ve had in a long time and the 2nd best tiramisu I’ve had (fist it my moms 😉). The waiters where lovely, brought us bread and lovely olive oil to start free of charge. Just overall a wonderful experience at a reasonable price for the quality.

Absolutely amazing! If you are in Limone Sul Garda, don’t go to find other place to have dinner. My truly recommendation! Fully occupied in 15 min after opening- it means a lot) Just plan and book your special dinner here because it will be special! Food, atmosphere, location, service - everything is just perfect! Thanks to all who made our evening spectacular!

We saved the best until last, and this was definitely the highlight of our stay. Amazing food in a beautiful courtyard. A special mention goes to Eliza, who was extremely helpful with her recommendations for dessert and for her people skills, also to Sergio, who was very friendly and professional.

If you want a fine dining experience in Limone, this is the place to go! Get dressed nicely, the place is extremely beautiful, food is delicious and instagramable 🤩 Waiters are attentive and speak good english. An unforgettable experience in such amazing location.

Lunch is very enjoyable here and definitely one of the best places in Limone. The tartare and spaghetti are very well balanced with strong flavours. Initially, I expected the Paccheri with Italian colours to taste the best after I saw some reviews here but I was underwhelmed. Overall, a relaxing lunch with great service.

Seafood restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Limone sul Garda, Ristorante Gemma offers a delightful dining experience with its charming terrace overlooking the stunning Lake Garda. This informal eatery specializes in an array of dishes that celebrate Italian cuisine, featuring fresh seafood, hearty pasta, and succulent meat plates. The menu is a blend of traditional favorites and innovative creations that tantalize the taste buds—think vibrant vegetable medleys paired with unique sauces alongside classic grilled lake fish.
Walking around and found this restaurant for a cappuccino and sat outside by the water for a while with friends visiting. What a great view, the service was fantastic and the bathroom was being cleaned when I went to use it and then didn’t have any toilet paper so I told them and they brought it immediately. A lot to watch from the water to the people walking around.
Sarah M — Google review
In short: Beautiful setting but inconsistent service and underwhelming food portions. 🌄🍽️ Ristorante Gemma is nicely located with great views of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains. 🌄 The table setup feels a bit fancy, which initially gave the impression of a more refined experience. 🍽 Service, however, was very mixed — some waiters carried themselves with a classic, upright posture and cloth over the arm, while others seemed a bit slow and disinterested. A middle ground might better suit the atmosphere. 🤷‍♂️ Oddly enough, for the first 30–45 minutes of our visit, Arabic music was playing over the speakers. It didn’t really match the setting and had us wondering whether we were actually in an Italian restaurant. 🎶❓️ Upon sitting down, we ordered some water which the waiter poured for us — a nice touch. We were also given bread, but no plates, which made it tricky to do a proper olive oil, salt, and pepper bread dip. 🍶 We ordered one starter — the burrata — and asked for it to arrive with the main dishes so we could share it as a kind of side. Despite this, it was brought out far in advance of the mains. Not a big deal, but a bit disappointing since we’d made a specific request. 🤷‍♂️ The main dishes arrived about an hour after ordering. The wait was a little long, but we noticed many other tables had it worse — some had food quite quickly, others seemed to wait even longer. ⏳️ Overall, the food was decent, but the portions were very small. The ravioli dish had just six small pieces with a bit of sauce — it felt more like a starter than a main. The spicy pasta was green in color but otherwise not memorable. The pasta with burrata had only a miniature amount of burrata and was mostly tomato sauce, which came off bland. 🍝 The lasagna was the highlight — flavorful, satisfying, and finally a portion big enough to feel like a main meal. Definitely where the kitchen shines. ☀️ I had the “typical steak of beef” expecting something in the range of a 200–300g veal or beef steak. 🥩 What I received was three thinly sliced pieces of well-done meat, a bit bland on their own. I ended up adding a good amount of pepper and made myself a kind of pepper-meat slip. The fries served with it didn’t look great and were poorly plated, but they were crispy. With olive oil, salt, pepper, and some parmesan, they ended up doing the job. 🍟🧂🫒 I would strongly recommend going with lasagna or just some starters for a snack, while enjoying the view. 🏞

We had a nice dinner here and can recommend going here. The view is amazing overlooking the Lake and rest of the town. The atmosphere is very comfortable. The food was very tasty, but the portions were somewhat small for the price.
Benjamin H — Google review
Stopped here for drinks, excellent draft Forst beer, my partner opted for a couple of soft drinks. Given how busy they were, we were served rather promptly. Bill came to 22.5 euros. Handed the big guy who collects the money 30 euros. He said, "was okay?" we said yes, and he said thanks and kept 7.5 euros as a tip. Had no problem with giving him 2.5 as the younger staff had kept us hydrated despite being insanely busy. Don't believe in making scenes but will be more wary at Ristorante Gemma as don't like being fleeced like that. "Was okay?" to us meant drinks, service etc. Not robbing us face-to-face. Tourists be wary.
Graeme B — Google review
Couldn't get a better position over looking the lake. Menu is ok, aimed at tourist population. I doubt Italians would eat here. Nevertheless, prices are good, food is tasty. Worked my way through a lovely dessert menu. Gets really busy as it's popular and the service staff do get a little impatient as they try and cover all the customers. Became my local when staying at hotel all azzurro.
Susan D — Google review
Delicious food combined with a spectacular view of Lake Garda. We were lucky to be seated on the front tables. The waiters were very kind - attentive and polite. The lasagna is a must to order - combine it with a Caprese salad upfront, finish with strawberry tiramisu and thank me later.

Supermarket
El Botegher in Limone sul Garda is renowned for its exquisite crema limoncello. This delightful liqueur is a specialty of the region and is made with locally sourced lemons, resulting in a smooth and refreshing flavor. Visitors to El Botegher can savor this traditional Italian beverage while taking in the charming atmosphere of Limone sul Garda.
Great store with great variety of delicacies but well overpriced!

We sat down for my girlfriends dessert after dinner and we were denied service because some of the people in our group wanted their ice cream in a cone. The server said they would not allow us to sit or have service if we did not all order the ice cream in a glass. DO NOT GO HERE. Very rude and completely ridiculous.
Mitch B — Google review
Awful place, we also had the bad luck to drop a 2 euro lemonade; and even we where the ones to tell them it broke they were extremely rude about it even after spending 70 euro there (they didn’t pick up the pieces while we were there btw). Better be avoided.
Aitor Z — Google review
Good variety of products, but the placement of them is just awful. When we walked past a jar of jam, it fell down and a seller quickly came to tell us that we have to pay for it. After talking to 3 sellers and telling them that it is their fault for putting stuff so unstable, we were able to pay only for goods we chose.
Katrīna — Google review
Lovely shop, nice products. But only the woman on the cash desk.. unfriendly and is not occupied with what she has to do. After buying, I had a bad feeling about the provided service. Tip, put your phone away.
Caya T — Google review
Owner is very rude and doesn't know how to put the products so they are stable. Many people have accidentally "caused" the products to fall, but few of them breaks making it a buyers fault. I do not recommend this place.
Katrīna Č — Google review
Avoid the place. Overpriced tourist shop. Items stacked so just by walking past they will fall and they will gang up on you and demand you to pay for damages. Either trying to scam money out of gullible tourists, or they need to fire their stockers. Either way, not worth the trouble.
Karolis A — Google review
Places their goods in a very unstable way. When you try to take one of them the whole stack get’s unstable and some pieces get broken. Instantly someone of the personal is there to clean. Of course everything is the fault of the customer and the customer has to pay all the damage… Interesting way to "sell" the goods. Never again!

Ciclopista del Garda is a scenic 1km path that runs along the mountains and partly above Lake Garda, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. While primarily designed for biking, pedestrians are also welcome to enjoy this picturesque route near Limone sul Garda. Visitors can easily access the path from town, with convenient parking available at the northern garage.
One of the best place and experienced i’ve had. I went for a walk here but the path isn’t finished. You have to go back again to be able to get out of the path. The views are stunning and i would love to go back again.

This place is truly charming and unique — a hidden gem that offers the perfect setting for both running and cycling. Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, it’s an ideal destination for anyone looking to reconnect with nature. I highly recommend visiting not only for the physical activity it invites, but also for the peace and tranquility it brings. It’s a must-see spot where you can pause, take a deep breath, and find a quiet moment to reflect and recharge your spirit.

Very beautiful walk along the lake. I walked from Limone out to the end and back again. I left limone at roughly 08:30. On the way back it was busy with people, loads of people stopping for photos etc... I would recommend you walk / cycle this early in the morning before it gets too busy.

An amazing experience bike riding along this ciclopista that is expertly built high up along the amazing town of Limone sul Garda, allowing one to take in the incredible beauty of Lake Garda. A serene atmosphere… take it slow and soak it all in. It can be enjoyed by both cyclists and pedestrians alike. I look forward to visiting again when it Is extended (hopefully)

One of the most beautiful in Europe ! It is recommended to do it at the morning or end of morning. Until now, only one part is finish to be build and Italia is continuing to build another part. For the moment, the way is 5km with way back at the maximum. If you are going there during the high season I do not recommend to book bicycle because it will be too complicated to drive.

it is very nice to walk here or ride a bicycle, and overlooking the beautiful view of lake garda.

Its only cca 3km for now but it is really nice ride/walk

If you get down at Limone Centro, this is a ~2.5 km walk. The walk to the trail itself is lined with restaurants initially and then becomes a beautiful narrow rustic old town trail. Even while reaching here you'll have some amazing views. The trail simply offers flat dedicated cycling and walking path with uninterrupted views of the lake and mountains upclose!

The dining experience at Turista al Buongusto Bistrò/Pizzeria/Backery/Pastry was thoroughly enjoyable, with a delightful selection of food and pastries. Both the pizza and burgers were tried and the burgers, in particular, were highly recommended as they were exceptional. The pizza was good but rated slightly lower at 7.3 out of 10. The variety of pastries available at reasonable prices added to the overall satisfaction. The captivating view further enhanced the experience.
A must visit when in Limone!! The food and drinks were good and reasonably priced, but the view is what really steals the show. Amazing place, would love to try it out for dinner next time.

We chose to eat pizza. To be fair it’s the worsts pizza that I have eaten in Italy in a while. There is so much cheese in the pizza and oil. It’s heavy, it’s watery. I would not eat here again, nor recommend this place. Only positive is the beautiful view of the lake. We did not finished out meal.

Very slow service that’s ruining the whole experience. I do not want to put the other waiters in the same bag but the waitress we had was really bad.The table next to us, who arrived after us, had to get up to place their order. I even asked if we needed to order at the bar, and they said they would come to take it… 15 minutes later. It’s unacceptable to feel like you have to beg just to order. When the food finally arrived, they brought still water instead of sparkling. They’re simply not paying attention at all.

GianMartin is a relaxed hotel with unfussy rooms and suites that offer beautiful views of the lake. They have a bar and free parking for their guests. The location is fantastic, providing wonderful views. The food at GianMartin is pretty good, particularly the pizzas which are thicker compared to other places in the neighborhood but still delicious. If you're not in the mood for pizza, they also have a pasta menu with various options. The service is quick and reasonably priced.

We stayed in Limone sul Garda for 5 days and this restaurant was our favourite. The staff are simply excellent and are so welcoming. We had Iman the Tunisian waiter for several of our meals and he was the best - so friendly and unbelievably attentive- he went out of his way to ensure everyone waiting for a table got seated promptly, even helping people with their bags and prams to get seated comfortably - amazing! The rest of the team are also excellent, service with a smile and very observant - always ready to take orders for drinks and food at a moments notice. The pizza here is fantastic, very authentic and tasty. The Tiramisu is the signature dessert at this restaurant and it was amazing! Many thanks for the great meals, and we would definitely come back for more! p.s The view is also a big plus, looking right out over the lake!

Speck Stube al Castèl is a must-visit spot in Garda, offering amazing food and a friendly atmosphere. Visitors praise the delicious specks and the extremely friendly staff. The place provides a top-notch experience with great food and fair prices, making it worth every Euro spent. It's also known for its large selection of drinks and tasty, fairly priced food. While some find the lack of AC uncomfortable during summer, others appreciate the good service and enjoyable dining experience.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Speck Stube al Castel Limone, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed without being overly intrusive. Overall, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed the food. What disappointed us a little was that the pizza is prepared in an electric oven and not in the oven. But that's just our preference. The service was very nice. If we visit Limone again, we will also visit this establishment. Thank you very much!

We try this nice Restaurant for the First time during our stay in Limone. There was a very nice service and we had very good foods as you can see in the pictures. And please try the tiramisu here 👍🏼

Great restaurant nestled away in the village hillside. Had the tagliatelle and gnocchi with truffles. Wine and spritz were refreshing on a warm day. The interior was bright and clean, and the staff were friendly and efficient.

Nestled just a stone's throw from the charming harbor and scenic lakeside promenade of Limone sul Garda, Ristorante Pizza Incontro is a delightful culinary destination that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This polished venue boasts a lovely terrace where guests can soak in stunning views of the lake while savoring local fare. While its name suggests a focus on pizza, the restaurant offers an impressive array of Italian dishes to cater to diverse palates.
We visited in the autumn and it was too cold to sit outside, which was a shame. Because even inside we enoyed the visit very much. Very friendly and attentive staff, very good food. The kids can let the steam off outside the restaurant in the “playground” with bikes.

Fantastic place, highly recommend: 1. menu is a careful selection of Italian/local specialties: truffle pasta is the best, pizzas all excellent, and tiramisu is to die for; 2. service is top class; 3. views are amazing; 4. its next to the parking lot, and there is a lift, I would recommend booking a table in advance, and dogs are also welcome.

This restaurant offers one of the most refined and delicious dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the perfectly cooked octopus to the flavorful pizza, every dish was a true delight. The menu is impressively diverse, yet everything is prepared in their own kitchen with remarkable attention to quality and detail. You can truly taste the freshness and craftsmanship in every bite. A place I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who appreciates authentic, high-quality cuisine. On top of that, the view is absolutely breathtaking, making the whole experience even more unforgettable.

Such a lovely place! We came for dinner in a large group of 4 couples and had an amazing time! Food was great, i loved the octopus! Service was very nice and polite, which is unusual for Italy 😆 one girl had the day of the fish which was very tasty and we tried 2 pizzas one with tartufo and the other Oro, both were very good but the girls preferred Oro whilst the boys the beef and tartufo! Recommend, id even say a must visit in Limone !

Day 2

Center of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the center side of town. Start the day off with Banchina panoramica Ciclopedonale da Limone sul Garda a Riva del Garda, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to San Giovanni waterfall. All together, your day would be filled with about 6 hours of non-stop fun.

Scenic spot
The Banchina panoramica Ciclopedonale da Limone sul Garda a Riva del Garda is an enchanting walkway that offers breathtaking views of the stunning landscape. Starting from Limone sul Garda, this path is mostly stroller-friendly, although there are a few bumpy sections to navigate. While many visitors rave about the spectacular scenery and the beautiful surroundings, some express their desire for the trail to be longer, ideally extending all the way to Riva del Garda.
Amazing walkway with great views! We started from Limone Sul Garda. The road is mostly compatible for using a stroller, there's a small section which is a bit more bumpy

Spend a couple of days at Lake Garda with my sons. The boys took kitesurfing lessons and I started Wingfoiling. The team at PlanetAllsports was very friendly and professional. We all benefited from the helpful instructions. All in all a great experience, happy to recommend it to anyone considering to learn those sports.

Together with my kids i spent a couple days with All Planet Sports for kite- and windsurfing. We had a very nice experience. Nice and professional team and a great location. It's especially very convenient if you stay in the adjacent hotel as well, as wind conditions can vary a bit and parking is difficult (that basically goes for most of the area around Limone and Riva. We will definitely consider to go back.

I did a single day wind surfing course with Planet Allsports in August 2022. Although I had limited time at Garda lake, it was really worth spending a day for this course. All the employees were really nice and professional. My personal teacher was Maxi (Maximilian) and he was professional, kind and friendly. I felt really comfortable getting his introduction and training. Starting with no prior experience, I was realy happy with the amount of surfing I could do within around 3 hours. It was fun and a great experience and I really recommend this school to others.

We spend our summer holidays at the lake Garda and the planet allsports center. Super accommodation with a very professional and dedicated team : no frills, what you see is wat you get. Nice and relax / no stress atmosphere. Also well balanced choice of boards and sails at fair renting prices. For me probably the best windsurf centre of the many ones I visited sofar ! Also very secure feeling (certainly for beginners). The whole crew knows the spot very well and reacts promptly in case of for instance sudden worsening weather conditions or wind switches.... Hope to be back next year ! Thanks a lot to Felix, Pim and all the rest of the team.

Great school! We booked a 3 day kitesurf course and were able to do a water start after 4 hours. Thanks Sebastian for the great instructions. Was super fun. Minimum theory, maximum time on the water. I also appreciated that we were able to take the classes depending on the wind. We even went out a second time because the first time the wind wasn’t good. Great job, will gladly refer you to others!

Chiesa di San Rocco is one of the Renaissance Churches in Limone, along with Chiesa di San Benedetto and the oldest church in Limone, Chiesa di San Pietro. This beautiful little chapel is accessed via a steep staircase and features a nice interior. Although it's small, its amazing location makes it worth exploring. While there's no Holy Sacrament inside for prayer and meditation, visitors find it to be a hidden gem that's worth seeking out.
So many walk past without even knowing it’s there because it sits on the top of a narrow stairway but not only is the little chapel very quaint; its terrace provides some of the best views over Limone.

Limone Rent Boat

Boat rental service
Limone Rent Boat is a must-visit in Limone sul Garda. The boats are top-notch and easy to control, allowing you to explore the lake at your own pace. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and multilingual. Even without a prior booking, they managed to provide a solution for an enjoyable 45-minute ride for a delighted family. The experience offers great memories and is well worth the price.
Amazing power couple runs this place. Very pleasant to talk to. Very clear in instructions and safety guidelines. Seamless experience from start to end. There is nothing like going to the middle of the lake like Lake Garda all by yourself. If you are not scared of water and are planning to rent a boat to explore Lake Garda, go to Limone and rent one of their boats. You'll thank me later :)
Suresh K — Google review
We found this company based on the location and high reviews, however, upon arrival, we were politely told that the water was too rough for taking a boat out, and that it was fully booked for the entire day later on. Which was initially totally understandable. However, right after us, a German family had asked for a new booking, which was immediately accepted, and another family in the queue had no issues obtaining a new booking either. The only reason I can imagine was that we were an Asian family of five, and the others behind us, were not. Sadly this was not a case of any misunderstandings, based on what we had seen and heard, whilst I have no personal issues with this company, my advice would be to wary if you are a person of colour.

Had a great time renting a boat on Lake Garda from Limone Rent Boat. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The boat was comfortable and faster than I expected, considering it needed no license, it was great. You can't land anywhere or get close to shore, but the views from out on the lake were epic, and it's a great temperature for swimming in the summer. Watch out for all the windsurfers! This was a lot of fun and I recommend trying it out.

Had an amazing experience renting a boat here for two hours! The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. They didn’t rush the process at all—instead, they took the time to thoroughly explain everything we needed to know, which made us feel confident and comfortable. The boat was spotless and clearly well-maintained, which added to the overall enjoyment. On top of all that, the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a fun, stress-free activity on the water!

What a luck we had and an amazing service from owners and staff. Very polite and speaking in multiple languages (our was English). As it was our first time here I was not aware we needed to book in advance and they are so popular. I have foolishly promised to my kids a boat ride. I was amazed by squeezing us in and with luck someone had not showed up. Owners realised it quickly, really fast provided solution and got us at least 45min! Kids were delighted, wife amazed and I was relieved. Thanks so much for an awesome service, being flexible, being a human in these tough days and last but not least - thanks for understanding and being solution seeker.

An absolute must if you visit limone sul garda. We actually went out twice over 2 days. Andrea greeted me with my 1st name the second time which was a nice touch. Sabrina was also very friendly and welcoming. The boats are incredible perfect bits of kit to sail/drive yourself. Very easy to control. My partner and I explored the lake by ourselves. Stopping, diving in and swimming round feeling like we had the entire lake to ourselves at times. For the experience and memories you get, is well worth the price. An exceptional experience that we will remember for the rest our lives.Thank you! We will be back for sure!

Sadly need to change my review back from 5 star to 1 star due to a very unpleasant experience. We try to call them at the beginning of the week to rent a boat again. No one answer the phone. Also we text and call them on whatsapp in the hope for a reply but sadly none. Last year we rented a boat and it was amazing. But this year it seems they dont even want us to rent it.

I walked with a guide on the percorso natura, from Limone up the footpath beside the tumbling St Giovanni stream, passing the waterfall to the little bar/restaurant pictured (La Milanesa). There are good views of the lake and Malcesine from the restaurant terrace. Then along to the olive mill, and back down to Limone passing the pretty little church at chiesa di San Pietro. A really enjoyable path, our small group took 4 hours at a gentle or moderate pace to complete the circuit (including a drinks stop for around 25 minutes or so). The section on the road isn't as nice as the path through the forest. Some sections are quite steep, good footwear is needed.

Hotel all'Azzurro offers tranquil lakeside accommodations with a dining establishment, a wine lounge, and an open-air pool, complemented by a shoreline section. The breathtaking panoramas and exceptionally amiable staff contribute to its appeal. However, the only aspect that falls short is the internet connection which is subpar within the rooms. Although some argue it may not be essential, it proved inconvenient when attempting to access weather updates such as anticipated cessation of rainfall.
We stayed in an annexe which was lovely, but very loud outside until 2am most nights, being a light sleeper i struggled to sleep, but it wasn’t the hotels fault, it was from the restaurant across the road. All the staff at the hotel were lovely, friendly and helpful. Clean hotel, good food and cocktails. The location was perfect, a beautiful place. We had a fantastic week lots of exploring with stunning views.

We had a fantastic stay in Hotel all’Azzurro for 8 nights. The location is first class, just beside the Limone Centro port which gives you access to the rest of the ports on the Lake. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, from the buggy transport from the parking to the hotel at the start and end of the stay. The breakfast was very good, with a wide range of fresh food available. The room was nice and was cleaned every day.

Fabulous location. Great room on same floor as pool. Bonus! Only quibble being a twin was requested and we had a double. Didnt ask for a change, just put up with sharing with my mate. Not first time. No lift, though wasn't an issue for me. Lakeside so wonderful views. Didn't use restaurant but breakfast was great, changed it up daily to keep it interesting. Options of fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli, bacon, eggs, hams, cheeses etc etc. Ferry stop right outside which is convenient but also causes huge queues. I would stay again in a heart beat.

We've stayed at Hotel all’Azzurro twice now and honestly can't fault a thing. On both occasions, we were greeted by the same gentleman during the transfer from the main car park in Limone - what a gem he is! He navigates the busy streets in a golf cart to get you to the hotel and insists on carrying your bags to your room. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Breakfast is a real highlight. The selection is generous and there is even complimentary Prosecco. We've always found the staff to be exceptionally friendly, from the reception team to the bar staff and cleaners.
Cara T — Google review
Glad we booked a room with a view/balcony, because this was the absolute highlight. Loved sitting out in the evening. Location is great as right next to the boat dock. Breakfast was an extensive buffet, and lovely outdoor area. Check-in staff were a bit odd, quite Fawlty Towers. You can't control the temperature of the air conditioning - and we could only turn it off by tripping the switch on the fuse box, which was annoying. Fantastic stay overall.

The dining experience at Jacky's restaurant was delightful. The lasagna was incredibly tasty, and the grilled salmon served with vegetables was impeccable. The seafood salad offered a delectable combination of flavors, while the prosciutto crudo paired with melon provided a perfect balance. The food was not only great but also reasonably priced, and the beautiful view added to the overall ambiance. Moreover, the staff enhanced the experience with their excellent service.
With a choice of restaurants to visit, this one is the first along the promade, has a good variety and selection to suit all taste buds. Checked out the others and ended up here, as you do. Everything we ordered was well prepared, presented and tasted really good. Prices are reasonable too. Views across the lake so all in all a great experience. Service could have been a little attentive and they slightly confused our bills but we didn't bother pointing it out. The muscles were amazing. (Spicy pepper ones).

We stopped by Jacky Bar in Limone sul Garda and had a really pleasant meal with great service throughout. We kicked things off with the bruschetta – it was decent, but the bread could’ve been a little crunchier, and it was missing that hit of garlic and fresh basil to really bring it to life. The tortellini panna e prosciutto was a highlight. The tortellini itself was perfectly cooked, and the sauce had a nice creamy texture. It was a touch on the bland side, though – maybe swapping in speck would’ve added a bit more depth. We also tried the lasagna, which was beautifully balanced. Not too rich, no overpowering flavours – just a well-made, comforting dish. To round off the meal, we had a sorbetto al limone and an affogato al caffè – light, classic, and the perfect way to finish. The setting was lovely, and the service was excellent from start to finish. A great spot to relax and enjoy a good meal

The restaurant is very well situated, at the promenade, couple of meters from lake shore. The food is ordinary, nothing special. The service was rather absent and seemed unpleasant. Ask for a receipt before you pay or you may be surprised.

I wanted to give this seafood spaghetti a higher rating but I physically cannot. There was a good variety of seafood in the dish and plenty of it, however the seafood itself lacked freshness. The pasta sauce was fine, but did lack salt or overall umami taste. But the staff were friendly enough and the atmosphere by the water made up for it.

Great pizzas, well loaded and super tasty with crisp crusts. Nice pint al la Spina and great value glass of Bardolino. Friendly service, doesn't justify its low rating at all. View isn't bad either😊

Lovely place on the Lake front. Beautiful view whilst you eat your meal. Staff are friendly and it didn't matter that we spoke very poor Italian, they knew what we wanted to order. Both had the pizza and it was delicious. Light and crispy, full of flavour and just melt in the mouth. Two lattes afterwards to finish the meal. Would highly recommend.

This establishment specializes in delectable fish dishes and sourdough pizza. Customers have praised the Placebo for its pleasant ambiance, friendly service, and flavorful cuisine. The tuna fish and fish soup are particularly recommended for their exquisite taste.
We had our wedding reception here and this is an absolutely amazing place. The atmosphere was amazing, service excellent and everyone was complementing chef Nicholas’ food. Highly recommended.

Amazing food! We decided to walk to dinner to work up an appetite and it was so steep but worth it. We shared a pizza margherita and a lemon trofie cacio e pepe. Both were good but the pizza was the true winner as it was perfect. We also got a lemon tart for dinner which was heaven and anyone going here should get!!

Definitely the best meal I had in Limone! Worth the steep walk up the hill. Amazing pizza, limoncello spritz, and tiramisu - blew my mind!

We had a lovely time in Restaurant Dalco. One of the best pizzas I had in my life. And if you would walk there, believe me, the uphill walk definitely worth it. If (when) we would be near Limone any time soon, we will be heading into Dalco again. Thank you.

Picked up pizzas 20 minutes before closing time. They were rushed and it showed in the pizzas: running out of mushrooms etc.

Hotel: beautiful place above Limone, great view over the lake, everything is clean and nice decorated, rooms are modern. Service: very friendly and kind service all the time - and it is really from the heart. Restaurant: best restaurant I visited at the Lake Garda. Very tasty food: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Special wishes are fulfilled. We had tuna fish and a fish soup - both were great.

Very friendly staf. Dog friendly resort. For our kids, ages 17/15 and 12 not a lot to do except for the very nice swimming pool with a tremendous view over the Lake Garda. During the day you can order at the pool, try the lemon cheesecake! During the evening, pool closes around 19.00, you can eat at the restaurant which is wright next to the pool. Fine dining and idem dito wine card. Even the kids liked it very much. The resort is the closest to the mountains in Limone. Very easy if you want to go for a hike with your dog. So all by all we had a very nice holiday thx to the good service of the hotel manger. She made us feel Wright at home, even our dog! We recommend it strongly for these reasons; -Best view on the lake -Dog friendly -Cool in the evening -Good food -Easy access to the mountains -Friendly staff

The service is exceptionally professional and incredibly amiable. The restaurant provides a refined dining experience with a concise menu that goes beyond basic pasta or pizza without any unnecessary extravagance. This establishment is adored for its breathtaking views, warm hospitality, and being an ideal spot for romantic moments.
My dog wasn't too well and my girlfriend and I wanted to go for a drink here, enjoying the view. The stuff was really, really gentle to my dog and us. We also had a very nice view on the surrounding area. All in all a great experience. Thank you very much, we'd love to come again! P. S. We can just refer to the bar, not the hotel itself.
Marcel A — Google review
The Hotel has a very good location and a therefore a lot of potential. Unfortunately the potential is far from being utilized in many ways. Bad things: - Many of the staff is unfriendly and you can not excpect any smiles. Also we had a specific disturbing rude incident from the staff, when we needed help with parking. In the breakfast buffet expect to being met with irritation from the staff when you don’t do it exactly how you are supposed to. - No air conditions in the rooms. We unfortunately took it as a given when booking the hotel, that there was air con. When you are staying there in above comfortable temperatures. This resulted in us leaving a day before. - The hotel could use a big helping hand when it comes to maintenance Good things: - Young staff is friendly - Beautiful location - Nice beach Conclusion: If the hotel add air conditioning and the personnel get some professional training. Then I would have given 4 stars. Unfortunately these areas are so important for a hotel, that 2 stars is what I can give.

Customers appreciate the uncomplicated booking process and the helpful advice provided by the team. With their excellent boat service, including assistance with switching kites, MKS ensures a safe and enjoyable experience on the water.
Absolutely amazing experience! Super nice, chilled and flexible staff, great gear quality for rental, long sessions on the water, and best price around Garda lake. Thank you guys and see you next year!!

I can definetly recommend this Kite School! I have rented a kite & booked lifts with their boat, my boyfriend took lessons and afterwards assisted lift. Everyone is super friendly, competent and helpful, on water but also via text! Only challenge was to find a parking spot nearby, but that comes with Lake Garda. We will definetly return!

Very nice guys. Went out with them twice. Very uncomplicated, just wrote them via message the evening before. Got a coffee for free first thing in the morning. Kite surfing at lake Garda is always a little more effort since you have to go out on a boat. But they are very professional and even helped me switch kites (including the lines) on the boat. Prices seem to be the same everywhere at the lake. Grazie

I had another great experience with MKS last week. Accidentally stumbled over this school and its great staff already quite some years ago. And now come back frequently to enjoy the weather, spot and not to forget the atmosphere at the school. Real pros who now what they do and at the same time keep their smile and enthusiasm. Last week was the first time I brought me 12 year old daughter who made amazing progress in only two lessons. Pretty sure this has to do with the way kitesurfing is tought at MKS.... Thanks MKS-team!

I brought my wingfoil to Lake Garda for a week in early August and stopped by MKS to ask for some advice. The guys on the beach were realy helpful and I ended up booking lifts to the windy spot. The boat service was excellent and really easy to arrange via WhatsApp. My wife & I loved Limone and so we will be back and I will definitely use the service again.

Very good place, highly recommend, good bikes and kind staff.

We rented two bikes for the whole day in advance, but it started raining in the morning and we only got to the store at 3:30 p.m. The lady who helped us kindly offered us two electric bikes to make up for not having used them all day. The bikes were new and well-maintained, but they could be lighter, compared to the ones we rented in Dobbiaco, which were also electric. Overall, we were satisfied, because this tour is unmissable!

Great bike rental with ok pricing. But the town isn’t actually the best place to bike in…there is one bike path that’s nice and very beautiful. north of limone. We hade the E-city bikes. Payed 28€ for 2 hours. 14€ each.

Had a lovely experience hiring bikes from this business. I didn't get the lady's name that served us but she was so helpful and so lovely to deal with. We hired bikes and cycled along the new cycle route that goes from Limone towards Riva Del Garda. The cycle path isn't completed but the views were spectacular along the route.

Really exceptional service. We had a great bike ride but sadly my partner fell off his bike, which caused damage to the tyre. The owner of the store was so friendly, charging €30 for the damage and was really relaxed about it which was so kind. We would highly recommend this place great prices and lovely owner!!

Awesome professionalism! I was planning to rent a bike and after sharing the trail I want to do and some health issue I had face in the last months, the staff advised me to not rent a bike BUT proposed me another solution so I could reach the spot I wanted to see, without compromising my health. That means they "lost money" to make me happy and safe. I have to say they provided info and care that the tourism office just across the corner did not bother to provide. Great customer service! Next time i come to Limone i will be healthier for sure and will rent a bike to these guys!

Yellow Team Rent Boat Limone offers an exciting and hassle-free experience for families and friends looking to explore Lake Garda. With the option to drive a 40-horsepower boat without a license, visitors can easily navigate the stunning waters. The friendly team provides thorough instructions and ensures safety with life jackets for kids. From visiting waterfalls to capturing picturesque moments, renting for just an hour with fuel and insurance included is a great value.
I highly recommend this place. We rented a boat for 4 hours, but unfortunately due to the weather change I was forced to return to the dock after 2 hours. To my surprise, upon my return, I was refunded the money for the unused time. Great service, clean boats, easy booking process.
Wojciech K — Google review
Boat reservation was easy through email, booked for 2 hours, got us a very clean, sexy looking little boat as expected. The initial training was very neat and clear, plus my own mechanical genius, the overall driving experience was very good. Not the cheapest but money very well spent. They also proposed a route for us based on our renting time and the fact that we’d like to go for a swim. Which you should bc the water in lake Garda was so clear and cool. We returned on time so no extra fee. I can tell the crew was a bit worried when they learnt that it’s my first time driving a boat, but when they see us came back with the boat intact and parking the boat just the way they instructed, we earned the smiles of approval.
Nile C — Google review
Rented a boat from the yellow team twice and have enjoyed it both times. An amazing way to see the lake and worth every penny.

Daughter desperately wanted to repeat a private boat experience with friends 2 years ago on Como. Hired their 40hp boat for 3 hours - 200 euros was very, very well spent. Great and helpful team booking, initial boat handling training and then experience on the lake. Amazing afternoon - daughter loved it. Thanks team.

We were group of Indians, working in Germany, came to this place for renting a boat, they said no boats available at the moment, but shortly after that incident we called from our german mobile number they spoke nicely and said the boat is available bla bla bla, then suddenly they ask my name and realised I am the same person who enquired about the boats few minutes ago, they ended that call sweetly and called from another unofficial number and mentioned that the boat is reserved already by someone else, sorry! Such a racist behaviour, so disappointed!!
Thangz S — Google review
Fine experience! I booked a boat in advance and it was available on time. An hour is enough to see the Malcesine castle, the waterfall on the other side of the lake and for a short dip. If your dog likes boats and swimming, know that this company allows dogs on board, while the one adjacent to it doesn't.

Mamba Beach is a stunning location with breathtaking scenery and delightful beverages. However, it would greatly benefit from English-speaking staff who prioritize customer service. A suggestion for the owner would be to reconsider the cost of sunbeds, perhaps charging 15 eur but allowing customers to use that amount towards food or drinks. Despite these minor flaws, Mamba Beach offers a fantastic experience and enjoyable drinks.
Relaxing place to relax, swimming pool with panoramic view on Garda Lake with affordable restaurant if you are in Limone sul Garda don't miss it!
Mihai E — Google review
Really nice place, beautiful views and nice drinks. Would've been a 5star if the personnel could speak English and be a bit more service minded. A suggestion to the owner; I think you could rethink about the sunbed costs, set a price of 15 eur but let the customer drink or eat for this amount. As for me who spent around 120eur in total this day, it's a shame I also have to pay for the beds... But to sum this up, I had a great day and some lovely drinks so thank you:)
Martin R — Google review
We reserved two sunbeds for two people the day before, and made this absolutely clear in our correspondence. What we were given, however, was beyond insulting: two miserable beds shoved into the deepest shade, hidden behind a massive bush, with no access to the pool, no access to the water, and not even access to the sun! When we complained, the response was nothing but a shrug – “the other sunbeds are already reserved.” Excuse me? We also had a reservation! Our booking was completely ignored, and we were treated as if we didn’t matter. I drove two hours just to get here, only to be met with this outrageous disregard. It was a total waste of time and money. I have never encountered such arrogance and disrespect anywhere. If you’re looking forward to a relaxing day, avoid this so-called “beach club” at all costs. It is an absolute disgrace and a slap in the face to paying guests.
K D — Google review
Nice and clean place. Drinks for a very fair price, like 5 € for an Aperol Spritz. Price for a Sunbed is 10 € for a whole day.

Absolutely incredible experience! Arrived into Limone after a delayed travel experience and this was just the tonic! Monica and her brilliant team clearly care passionately about high quality, tasty food, excellent service and a wide selection of beautiful drinks. Nice place for a quiet midday lunch, slightly off the main street. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The food was generally good – the chicken salad was fresh, the ribs were decent, and the baked cheese tasty. The lemonade was quite sour for our liking. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Amazing little restaurant with one of the best and most interesting menus in the area. No pizza and spaghetti here. We are from California we and rarely eat hamburgers except for a rare excursion to In-N-Out but ordered the burger they are famous for and it was absolutely the best burger we have ever had. Truly! My wife's shrimp salad was fresh and very tasty. The Bergamot-Pomegranet spritz and the Limconello-Rosemary spritzes were spectacular - 2 of the 50 spritzes they offer on the menu. Service efficient and very friendly. Wish we had discovered this place sooner in our trip, we would have been here often. The complimentary limoncello shot at the end was very nice. Get off the tourist strip and adventure into the small restaurants in the hills. You will be greatly rewarded.

Unfortunately the one menu item we wanted was no longer on the menu. Outdoor patio was cute! I wish there were more options for the platter. €25 for the meat/cheese was kinda spendy for 1 person.

We stopped by for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by both the menu and the atmosphere. I tried the Lavenda Spritz — a refreshing and flavorful drink. The menu features a wide variety of house-made spritzes, including several alcohol-free options, which is a great touch. My companion ordered the Pollo Lollo, a fresh chicken salad that was well-prepared. I went with the Trentino Burger — served on a black bun with mushrooms. It was cooked well and had a nice flavor. Service was prompt and courteous throughout our visit. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed lunch with creative options and friendly staff. Would definitely return.

The place is cute but the food was a poor effort. Both our dishes didn’t have any taste, my pasta with trout was super bland and had pieces of smoked cut up trout (the one you buy in a supermarket) sprinkled on top. Drinks were huge but not exceptional either. I’m really disappointed by the amazing reviews it has on Google, because it was the reason I chose it.

Many patrons frequent this eatery on a weekly basis, drawn by the scrumptious and crispy pizzas and flavorful pasta dishes cooked al dente in the traditional Italian homemade cuisine style.
We spent a nice lunchtime in their walled garden area today and we think they deserve better than the current sub-4 rating on Google reviews. The service was friendly, even when they got very busy, and the food we had was good. Also, their garden under the orange trees is a lot quieter than much of the surrounding area, it's a nice spot.

We visited this restaurant during a very busy holiday period, and despite the town being packed, the service was quick in general and our waiter was proactive and attentive, which made a great first impression. The highlight of our meal was definitely the *Pizza Speciale* — it was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, one of the best we've had in a while. The seafood in the pasta dish was clearly very fresh, which we appreciated, though unfortunately the pasta itself lacked seasoning and depth of flavor. A downside was the timing — the pasta arrived a full 20 minutes before the pizza, so we couldn’t enjoy our meal together. Also, the Coke was served in a glass packed with ice, not in a bottle, so it felt like poor value for the price. Overall, a good experience with excellent pizza and attentive service, but a few small details kept it from being great.

Lovely place with an amazing rooftop with a view both on the mountains and on the lake. Fast and friendly service and delicious food! We had pizza calzone, prosciutto with melon, and some type of ravioli with sage butter sauce. Would come again!

The waiting for the menu was ridicules and the food was so and so, some dishes were bad some were good. I ordered penne arrabbiata which was so good that ordered seconds and was surprised it didn’t taste the same, i asked the waiter why does it taste different? And his reply was so rude and disrespectful i just payed and left, he was bald wish i took his name, i don’t write reviews like this but he pissed me off.

‏I waited an unacceptable thirty minutes for a waiter to take our order. The waitstaff appeared stressed and disorganized, which contributed to this significant delay. When our waiter finally approached, their demeanor and attitude were very poor. ‏After this, our food was mistakenly placed on an adjacent table for several minutes before being brought to ours. This is a basic service error that should not occur. ‏Later, when we requested the bill, we experienced another lengthy delay of over ten minutes. Despite our repeated attempts to get the waiter’s attention, they seemed preoccupied with clearing empty tables and attending to other customers, completely neglecting our request for the check. We were left waiting unnecessarily. ‏This entire experience was frustrating and significantly detracted from our meal

I recently visited Bar Agrumeto and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. While the location is indeed beautiful and atmospheric, the prices are absolutely outrageous. I ordered a simple coffee and it cost me an arm and a leg! The quality of the drink was average at best, and the service was even worse. The waiters were incredibly rude and seemed to be bothered by our presence. They took ages to take our order and even longer to bring our drinks. When I politely asked for a refill, I was met with a scowl and a long wait. The ambiance of the bar is lovely, I'll give them that. The decor is good and the music is pleasant. However, it's not enough to justify the exorbitant prices and poor service. Overall, I would not recommend Bar Agrumeto to anyone. There are far better options in the area that offer better value for money and a more welcoming.
Filippo M — Google review
The waiter was a very old man who seemed to hate tourists. When it came time to pay he reminded us 3 times that service was not included in the price. Does this company not pay their employees a living wage so they have to beg for tips? Didn’t realise that Italy had adopted the American model of paying their hospitality staff. Also, there was a massive queue for the ladies 1 toilet and no other employee thought to suggest that there were more toilets upstairs.

We did a two-hour katamaran-class with Robi in the end of September. After the end of the high season he was flexible when we had to reshedule the class. Thanks for that. Also going by speed-boat from the meeting point to the place, where the boat lay, was fun. We can definitely recommend it.

They even sell the same high-quality ingredients they use, so you can take some of the goodness home. And the lemonade? Just as unforgettable. This place is a must if you’re anywhere near Limone.

Scaloni 20 is a charming cafe located in a beautiful and historic setting. Visitors can enjoy sitting on the staircase with cushions, creating a cozy and picturesque atmosphere, especially in the evening. The menu offers delicious dishes and refreshing lemonade. While some patrons found the staff to be less friendly, others appreciated the nice balcony for enjoying an aperitivo with a selection of snacks.
We stayed in Limone for five days and went to this bar every night for an aperitivo. Staff were attentive helpful and friendly on all occasions. We didn’t eat there so have not scored the food. They made a very impressive Espresso Martini! Beautiful in taste and consistency each time it was made. Good cocktail list. Cool and relaxed vibe. Thank you to all the team at Scanloni 20 for your warm hospitality that we enjoyed each night before venturing off for dinner. You made our stay in Limone very memorable.

Visited twice now. Once for brunch and once for evening drinks. Very cool relaxed area where 3 flights of steps meet in a small square. The cured meats platter is to die for. Hugo spritz and mojito are perfect. A quiet corner just mins from the crowds. The waiter/waitress worked so hard to keep everyone happy. Really helpful..we'll done and Thank you.

A hidden gem in the charming center of Limone sul Garda. The Italian Bruschetta is delicious. The lemonades and different varieties of L'acqua del Garda are also delicious. You can sit inside or outside. Definitely worth a visit.

Came here for a few drinks whilst staying in Limone! Brilliant atmosphere, the front of house waiter is lovely and attentive and the bar tender seriously knows how to make good cocktails! They play great house tech music which you won’t find in much places in Limone as it’s a small town. If you fancy a drink and somewhere with good atmosphere and a good vibe come here!

An amazing spot for a refreshing lemon gelato served inside a frozen lemon. The locally made lemonade is one of the nicest I have ever tasted. Customer service is excellent and the staff are most friendly. I am so glad I found this hidden gem. It’s well worth visiting.

Restaurant
Villa Romantica - Hotel and Restaurant is an exquisite lakeside establishment that boasts a secluded beach, dock, and a dining area. Situated in the charming village of Limone sul Garda, this family-run hotel offers breathtaking vistas that enhance the overall holiday experience. The owners, Paulo and his wife, together with their attentive staff, provide exceptional service with genuine warmth and helpfulness.

Scenic spot
Passo Rocchetta 1159 m is a stunning location that can be reached from various starting points, such as Riva del Garda or Limone. Whether you choose to travel on foot or by mountain bike, the journey offers breathtaking views and unique experiences. The climb may be challenging, but the rewarding panoramic spots along the way make it worthwhile.

(Translated by Google) Amazing walk from Pregasina m532 (fraction of Riva del Garda), a characteristic village with a splendid panorama of Garda. Parking your car is not always easy, especially in summer and the streets of Pregasina are narrow, so it would be best to take advantage of the car parks, however small, located outside the town. The directions for the route are easy to follow: you reach the famous Punta Larici (with a wide and pleasant road) the most beautiful panoramic point of the Benaco and once you have enjoyed the breathtaking view you resume the route going up along the comfortable road in the direction of the Malga Palaer (m930) surrounded by beautiful meadows. Leave the dirt road near the building, taking path 422 on the left which continues uphill with a more uneven surface and varied and intense vegetation, typically characteristic of the Garda climate. A final steeper part allows you to reach the Rocchetta pass surmounted by a large rocky spur on whose cliffs there are cushions of the beautiful endemic plant of the Brescian Prealps called Dafne and a splendid panorama. Here there is a clearly visible crossroads and, leaving aside the highest path, follow the signs for Baita Segala. After a short descent with hairpin bends, the comfortable and well-marked path crosses halfway up the slope without any differences in height and the small rocky spur of Cima Mughera appears in front of us. The path is wide and the vegetation chaotic but does not block the view of the lake. A slight climb takes us to a hill and on the right there is a small refuge with benches and tables for a break while on the left the path 101 for Limone separates. Choosing the latter, in 10 minutes we reach the now very close Cima Mughera: then we leave the wide mule track that leads to Baita Segala to take the narrow, bumpy path downhill and then go up the opposite ridge on a debris surface until we reach the summit (m1191), a panoramic position of great beauty that amply repays the effort. The entire route requires a travel time (one way) of approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes. Priceless! Impagabile!

The hotel is four stars but it doesn't have its own swimming pool, it doesn't have dinner in the hotel but you have to go to another hotel, which is disastrous!!!!! The staff, especially the waitress, rolled her eyes when ordering. The pictures on the booking are misleading and should be removed. The hotel does not deserve more than two stars!!!! The only bright spot of the hotel is the receptionist from Poland, Monika, who is probably the only one who tries to be professional Bad breakfast: for example, the container where the feta cheese and mozzarella were stored were moldy around the edges. We had breakfast outside. The location itself is OK. I will never return to this hotel and do not recommend it to anyone.

While I have not been a guest at the Hotel itself, I do want to take the time to thank the staff for their great hospitality and service. I was on my way through Limone sul Garda and took a break at the Hotel/Restaurant. A few years ago, I had been there with my late parents and I wanted to honor their memory by having a breakfast there (as we did back then, we „parked“ my Dad for breakfast there, while my Mom and me went shopping). Unfortunately (but understandibly) you do not offer breakfast for non hotel guests anymore. But this didn‘t keep the very nice waitress from offering me a seat, serving me a coffee, cookies and a Croissant. Additionally, the nice lady at the reception checked out something for me regarding the closure of a road. This really is the best kind of service someone can get, and I wasn‘t even a Hotel guest! In the end, they even refused to bill me for the Croissant and I only had to pay for the coffee and my Cola. (I hope I have been able to compensate this with the tip I left). Thank you so much for this short experience. It really means a lot to me, especially as this place brought back the memories of my last vacation with my late parents, with my Dad spending several hours enjoying your wonderful hospitality back then. I hope to be back in the future and then as a guest of your hotel. Obviously, I couldn‘t really rate your rooms, as I have never seen one, but I will still give it 5 stars, as I expect this kind of exceptional service to be consistent within the rest of the hotel.

We were a group of 8, including partially disabled elderly mum and 3 kids. Spent two nights at Garda Suite hotel, part of this group hotels in this corner of Limone. Good location and view, staff is nice, large rooms. But: 1. Room reservation for one of the nights was cancelled the day before arrival after we booked months in advance - and we had to scramble like crazy and overpay / change logistics to find a room during high season. Apparently it happens frequently, beware!! No discount or anything to compensate for inconvenience - which is unfair because if I had cancelled I would have had to pay for the night in any case as per cancellation rules. 2. Request for "no stairs access room" for my elderly mum was ignored. 3. Probably due to COVID, but seems understaffed. 4. Car park a bit nightmarish for larger cars / minivans. 5. Room lighting is cold, toilet fixtures are cheap plastic and come off, no tea kettle in room or common spaces. Very weird for a high price hotel. Overall, not a good value for money, would not recommend.

Fire alarm goes of at the middle of night, nobody from the hotel takes action. Unmanned reception at night and apparently no communication between hotel alarm and hotel staff. Guests had to go look for help on their own from the neighboring hotels. Makes you wonder if it's safe to stay here.

This was part of a very expensive holiday abroad taking in Austria, Germany and Lake Garda here in north Italy. The hotel itself is fine but, because I am a single traveller, my room is at the back of the hotel with no good view of Lake Garda at all. What am I paying for? The service is abominable having to wait 'hours' to order a beer and considering that we had pre-ordered our our meals, as a group, by the time that I got mine it was stone cold. Admittedly, I complained, but, by the time that it was replaced as a hot meal, the others at my table had eaten their's. Certainly not conducive to enjoying your meal. Furthermore, I love having freshly milled black pepper with my meals, especially on the pasta which was offered, but there was none to be found. How on earth do Italian chefs, let alone others of different nationalities, get away with not using fresh spices in their cooking? I do carry a.peppermill around with me in the UK but when I dashed up to my room I discovered that I hadn't packed it! By the time that I returned to the dining room my blood was boiling but, guess what, the waiter had gone to the hotel next door and he produced a peppermill! It was only the following day that I discovered that another lady guest had a similar problem but she was unlucky in procuring any! But there it was on the table the following day for my meal (and for the other lady; but the same mill!). Breakfast this morning was fine. I am a tea lover in the mornings and one of the worst things ever that I have discovered in hotels the world over is the provision of what I would call the worst teabags in the world and that is of the weak, insipid, flavourless ones of Lipton's Yellow Teabags! And what greeted me? Yes, you guessed it? To add to the insult , not a single teapot in sight. I remonstrate again (and, believe me I don't really complain and I give ample praise where praise is due) and the waiter produced one. Why on earth are they not on the shelves provided? These hotels have been here for decades. Why oh why is there such a poor standard of management that is leaching so much off of the visitors from all over the world? I've still got another few days to stay here! Either, things will magically improve, or, they might find out who wrote this and I might disappear in the middle of the night!

Absolutely loved it. The view over the lake is simply stunning. They don’t take reservations, so we had to wait a bit for a table, but it was well worth it. The atmosphere is beautiful, perfect for romantic dinner while watching the sunset.

This restaurant is an absolute delight from start to finish. The food is delicious — fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. One of the highlights is their exceptional olive oil, rich and aromatic, a perfect complement to every dish. The service is warm and welcoming, making you feel truly taken care of throughout your visit. What truly elevates the experience, though, is the atmosphere — you’re surrounded by lush greenery, with breathtaking views of the lake, all accompanied by beautiful music that sets the perfect mood. Whether you’re here for a specially evening, a special celebration, or just a relaxing meal, this place has a unique charm that makes it unforgettable. A must-visit spot for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a stunning setting. Don’t miss it!

What a fantastic place and highly recommend you visit. Had to queue to get a table but totally worth it. Staff were fantastic and friendly and the view was amazing. The food was out of this world, had a starter, pasta dish and then desert. Every course was fabulous in looks and taste. The pasta was just so tasty and an absolute dream to eat. Had such an amazing experience and would recommend going here to anybody.

Everything was perfect. An incredible view, delicious food (and let me say, the lemonade is the best I’ve ever tasted!), with the refreshing scent of lemons all around—I absolutely loved it. The staff were kind and welcoming, doing everything possible to make guests feel comfortable. You can even buy lemon soap there, which smells amazing. The only regret I have isn’t buying more of that wonderful soap! ✨🥲 I can recommend this place with all my heart! 🫶🏼:)

The best view in Limone! Easy to get a table without a reservation. Tiramisu was 10/10. Pizza and pasta were delicious. Not fussy on the chicken cutlet, have had better.

Absolutely stunning location! You sit on the terrace privately under the olive trees, yet still surrounded by a lovely atmosphere and people. Even without a reservation, we were seated within 10 minutes. The non-alcoholic Limoncello Spritz was an absolute highlight! We had the Caesar salad, Arrabbiata pasta, and Pizza Italia – all delicious. For dessert, we had a molten chocolate cake with a perfectly gooey center – absolutely spot on. A truly special place.

Very good service, food, and views. We've been here three times and each time was great. The steak and pasta are very tasty. I recommend this place.

We were starved after more than 5 hours cycling. Carla from the local rental bike recommended the restaurant. We decided to have a Lasagne Bolognese and Fettuccine Bolognese, both delicious.

Restaurant
The hotel Augusta provides comfortable accommodations with balconies showcasing stunning lake views. This relaxed establishment features a restaurant and bar, as well as a refreshing swimming pool. The food offered is of exceptional quality, earning it the reputation for being the best in the village. The staff delivers outstanding service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay. The picturesque setting enhances the experience, making it well worth enduring any challenges encountered during the journey to reach this charming hotel.
This is a little hidden gem. It's rated only two stars because it has just the basics not because of any problems. It has a terrace with a beautiful view. You are given an electronic code so you can come and go anytime. The bed is firm and very comfortable. The bathroom is a little small but nice. The towels are large and soft. The owner is very nice and accommodating to your needs. Everyday the room is cleaned and includes a nice breakfast at the adjacent restaurant which I review separately. The owner will also cook eggs just for you. The hotel is located just outside the main town and is a 10 minute scenic walk. Be aware not to come to the hotel following Google maps as it will direct you down via nova which becomes just a bike path. Instead take the main road and look for parking nearby.

First of all, the prices are extremely high; we paid 130 euros for 5 dishes that were nasty. About the food - there are 2 types of food: food with no taste or nasty and bad taste food. When the waitress saw our full plates she didn't asked about it, she just gave us check. The music was very loud and we asked politely to make it lower but they ignored us. They don't have their restaurant on the map but I think it is in the hotel technically. So I would not recommend to eat there.p

Only stopped for a quick bite. Only had bruchetta and chicken. The bruchetta was impressive and very tasty and the bread wasn't fully toasted which I much prefer. But no fresh basil, only dried. The chicken was dry and covercooked. Nicer places just down the road for same price.

Music is too loud. The staff did not turn down the volume when asked.

This review relates to the restaurant only. The food was terrible absolutely terrible. My 7th time visiting the beautiful country of Italy and one of the things I enjoy most is the standard of food but this was hands down the worst food I have ever had in Italy and possibly ever been served. I had Carbonara, was terrible Guanciale looked like undercooked bacon and there was a yellow puddle in the bottom. My daughter had Spaghetti Vongole which she loves and even though she is 9 she said this does not taste right. My sons 7 year olds had Spaghetti Ragu and again despite having it quite a lot turned their nose up saying it was disgusting. Even more annoying is that this restaurant seems to charge extortionate prices for the slop they serve 100 euros for 3 mains, 5 drinks and some chips. Please do yourself a favour and eat elsewhere because you will end up disappointed.

Beautiful spot. You have to walk down a bit to find it. View of the lake. Had pizza and pasta and clams with some sparkling rose. Both/all very good.

The opinion relates to the restaurant Augusta which is a disappointment. Personnel speaks little English despite thousand of tourists. Lasagna is full of oil/fat so that you cannot enjoy the taste of other ingredients. Gnocci with ragou is just gnocci with tomato sause. They also rip you off 2.5 eur for service. I hate this in some Italian restaurants. They force you to give the tips. Stay out of this place. Oh and the last thing - if you call yourself a restaurant, don't ask your customer to go to the counter and pay. It is the waiter's job to bring the receipt and collect the money.

The food was ok, but nothing more. The pizza was sweet instead of savoury, the salad was unoriginal and too simple. No fresh produce was used here. The two stars are for the view and the service.
