Great mall! Has a beautiful outdoor area with restaurants and view of the beach. Plenty of shops to choose from. Parking is big enough to accommodate a lot! The design inside of the mall displays modernity and sleekness.

This mall was magnificent. No other words to describe it other than that. I absolutely loved the huge number of shops, restaurants, amenities, and little touches that made it feel out of this world. I had been looking forward to coming here for a while, but it completely exceeded all expectations. The sheer amount of stores amazed me and I couldn’t even walk the entire mall. The food court was one of the best I’ve seen in any mall, whether that be in North America, Europe, or Asia. I couldn’t believe the quality and amount for the price. It’s so affordable and yet delicious. It was pretty crowded inside but given the circumstances, location (right on the water!!) and the shops it isn’t hard to believe that many people love this mall. I could tell there were plenty of locals as well. I would love to return one day!! Fingers crossed.

I liked it, and I hate shopping. Tons of shops, absolute maze of a place. Highlight was the arcade on the top floor, you could stay there for hours. Really high end machines.

Beautiful mall, so many shops, galleries Lafayette are stunning, very clean and modern, absolutely worth it. Kind personnel everyone spoke English! And very tasty boba from the 1 st floor

So big place and so beautiful it has everything you look for. Restaurant, shops, kids game, glasses shop. Literally everything and it is one of the biggest mall in Europe. It is just next to the airport. Even you can see the airplane taking off from there.

Enormous shopping mall with all kind of shops and all kind of prices! Worth to visit and impossible not to spend on buying something. First 3 hours parking for free. North parking most of times less croudy. Nice Italians and Greek restaurants with view to eat.

Plage de Landsberg is one of the unique beaches in the area, offering a mix of sand and pebbles. It is a great spot for families with kids, providing plenty of space to relax and play. While it may be affected by airplane noise due to its proximity to the airport, there are various dining options nearby. The beach provides smooth entry into the water and is suitable for water sports enthusiasts.

Great sandy beach as the only one in a large area. Plenty of space and great for families with kids. You might get a bit annoyed by the airplanes though as they depart and arrive every few minutes all the time. There is plenty of possibilities for eating and drinking in the area. Parking facilities are also available somewhat nearby towards Antibes.

Coming from Greece I have high expectations from a beach so this would actually be a 3.8 for me. Beach is shallow and busy with water sports. Convenient for families with small kids, looks nice from far, kinda neat but this is where the good things end.

Small private sand beach with facilities restaurant & bar. Water skiing and other like activities. Many rocks in the sea though so swimming shoes are a must.

Very big. Less people. Probably because the water isn’t clear. And this is because of the grey, fine sand probably. Which gets everywhere including on my iphone.

Beach
Plage Cousteau may not be the most stunning beach along the coast, but it's perfect for young children. The sandy beach, though imported, offers shallow waters and a lack of waves, making it more like a giant swimming pool than the open sea. This makes it an ideal spot for kids to swim safely and make friends with other children. While not suitable for swimming due to relatively unclean water, the beach does offer beautiful sunset views.
Lovely beach.

Restaurant
Nestled along the picturesque waterfront, Chez Max is a delightful dining spot that captures the essence of Nice. With its inviting outdoor seating and friendly staff, it’s an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring. Guests rave about the local brewed beer and seafood dishes like risotto and fish and chips, which are both satisfying options. The ambiance is enhanced by chic music, creating a pleasant atmosphere for dinner.
Several area restaurants were closed but we had a very good experience here on a rainy Monday. We were staying at the Holiday Inn and wanted an early dinner before our flight out the next morning. Christopher was our helpful waiter and, after drinks, we decided on fish and chips and the muscles. Dinner was excellent and the crepe for dessert was as well. Recommended Chez Max if you are in the area.

I checked in Holiday Inn and the. Walked along the water front, and saw this restaurant with many patrons, so I just got an outdoor seating. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming, as usually, I tried some local brewed beer 🍺 and seafood Risotto with a shrimp appetizer. The ice cream was so so, I should have tried some other dessert instead. All in all, it was a nice dinner with very pleasant ambience chic music. First time in Nice, very nice indeed! 😊😊
Qihua M — Google review
The meals are alright, for fair prices, but the seasoning was well off (non existing ) on both burgers and tartar. The staff is friendly, the service overall is quick. Its located at the promenade next to the beach. They are open without the afternoon break, which is very appreciated for me as a tourist in France.

OK for airport restaurant. They have very good draft beer (Affligem Blonde). I also tried their pan bagnat (tuna sandwich) and it tasted a bit old, like it was prepared a day before.
Tomáš P — Google review
Nice place, great food and service. Prices are totally acceptable. A bottle of red wine was 16 Euros, the pizza was nice. Friendly staff and nice view, perfect for people watching😊. Also, some of their chairs (the blue ones) are comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place
Kinga F — Google review
Hadn't eaten since breakfast and was ravenous so I ordered the Empire State Burger and found it plenty big enough to satisfy my hunger. The 400g of meat was cooked just right and very tasty, included with bacon, cheese, tomato and a generous salad + fries. No complaints with the food but found the service wanting... Certainly not bad, but not welcoming either and considering it's right next door to a Holiday Inn that is used by many international visitors and flight crews, there is room for improvement.

If you find yourself in Nice and have a craving for authentic Vietnamese cuisine, Chez Mme Phok is the place to be. This charming eatery, run by a warm lady from Ho Chi Minh City, offers a delightful array of dishes that will tantalize your taste buds. While I ordered beef noodles expecting them to be served in soup, they arrived dry but surprisingly packed with flavor! The food was served hot and fresh, showcasing the true essence of Vietnamese cooking.

Nice Asian restaurant: Mme Phok prepares popular Asian dishes in France, some typically Vietnamese while other are Cantonese. The place is simple but the food is really tasty and the prices are fair. However the service was on the slow side and a few mistakes were done in our order. Otherwise, I would have given the place four stars.

Hamburger restaurant
Edgar Gastronomique Burgers is a delightful dining spot that welcomes guests every day for lunch and dinner. While the menu features an array of options including mussels with fries, pizzas, pasta, salads, and seafood dishes, it’s particularly renowned for its burgers. Located conveniently in the Cap3000 shopping mall, this restaurant not only offers easy parking but also boasts a lovely terrace with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Really great place to eat. We were in 5, everyone took different things. Huge portions, delicious food, great service. The tartare I ordered, which is served with a salad and a portion of rise/fries, was amazing. We just came from Sicily (where food is crazily good) and this place still unexpectedly surprised us. We will come back 100%.
Katerina — Google review
I guess I'd give 2.5 stars if it was possible. There are some pros and cons to be sure. The good... Location is superb. On the south side of the CAP3000 shopping mall right on the beach. You couldn't ask for a better view and there is a large area for outdoor seating. Atmosphere inside is also good. Only a small selection of beers but I had the Grimbergen White (a wheat beer) and it was incredible. Best beer of my trip. Waitstaff were prompt and pleasant. The bad... Given the name of the restaurant I was quite excited to try one of their burgers. I was there for lunch and although the double cheeseburger was enticing I decided to go with the bacon cheeseburger. Frankly it was not delicious. I was not asked how I wanted it prepared and when the burger arrived it was pink/red inside. I cannot conceive how ground beef in this manner is appealing to anyone. Given the similar comments I see in other reviews I am disappointed the restaurant hasn't figured out by now you should ask people about this. On top of that I requested no toppings yet the burger arrived with still pickles and some kind of sauce (mayonnaise?) on it. Paired with an untoasted bun this is probably in my bottom 5 worst burger experiences of my life. Needless to say, I did not finish it. Fries were good. I believe the burger was like 25 euro or something like this. A bit on the pricey side.
J B — Google review
We have been in this restaurant 12-11-2022. Was it crowded at that time ….yes, but the waitress came fast to take our order so as this restaurant is famous for their ‘Gastronomique Burgers’ we have decided to order for a BURGER. The waitress should normally ask us how we want the meat to be cooked, but she did not, so we said let’s just see and wait, so we waited for 20- 30 mins. and our order arrived …. And there you go , we have received a bloody Burger. If there is a -10 ,I would give them this score. It’s time to change their name. Just look at the photos.

I know it's mostly burgers but actually here I had one of the best and biggest grilled octopus in a while. I do recommend the place especially cause it's located in the cap3000 shopping mall and it's easy to find parking. Also on the terrace you could have a sea view.
Sorin P — Google review
Lovely location directly on the Beach within the CAP3000 shopping mall. Despite low occupancy and sufficient of staff, the service was slow and inattentive. The worst was however the totally cold French frieds - can you imagine? I tried to catch the staff attention to have them replaced, but there was no attention despite 7 other tables being occupied. The key product not up to par. In fairness the Filet was nice. I will come back and try their signature dish - the burger 🍔 and give them another chance, and maybe review again.
Ole S — Google review
The best hamburger I've had in France! Very American in style and cooked to your preference. Coupled with an amazing view of the Mediterranean Sea, this restaurant is a great place to have lunch while shopping at the mall.
Kathryn G — Google review
We went here last Sunday for lunch and sat at the table inside next to the wall, near the bar. Underneath the table had many crumbs so I am assuming no one cleaned the night before and THERE WERE COCKROACHES on the wall! I was able to take this photo with a small cockroach but there were bigger ones as we sat there. We reported it to the staff so they gave us a discount (we were billed 2 out of 3 dishes instead). We paid however thinking about it, we shouldn't have. They said that they are next to the mall's bins so they have cockroaches which is unacceptable. Next the food : my babyback ribs arrived cold and has a funny taste, my daughter's chicken nuggets from the "menu enfant" was undercooked and my husband's burger plate (3 mini burgers in a plate) tasted so bad! I have to put a star to leave a review but definitely this place does not deserve any star. Never again.

Nestled along the stunning coastline of Saint-Laurent-Du-Var, Le Blue Bay is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This elegant restaurant, renowned for its creative and inspired dishes, beautifully blends French, Mediterranean, and Martiniquan flavors. With a focus on ultra-fresh seafood and locally sourced ingredients, every meal is a celebration of taste. The panoramic terrace offers breathtaking sea views that enhance the ambiance while you savor each bite.
We had a great dinner here with the tapas platter, risotto, duck breast and linguine with pesto. The service was excellent and all the dishes were amazing. We finished all food with no leftover, which is rare for our 8 and 10 year-old kids :) Highly recommend the place and if you have kids, let them try the Paradise mocktail (non-alcohol of course)!

Blue Bay has a great location with beautiful sea views and good food that’s creative and well presented. The service was friendly and professional. The only downside was that the place felt a little bit dirty, which took away from the overall experience. It’s definitely not kids friendly, the food from the kids menu is very low quality.Still worth visiting, but it could be better if they paid more attention to cleanliness.

Food was mediocre, fish was cooked okay, sides were bland. Not worth the price in my opinion but does serve food between 3-6 when a lot of other restaurants don’t - good if you’re desperate for food

This time, I will NOT delete my comments! Food poisoning. 10 out of 16 people ! Horrible and extremely loud noise (that wasn't music!) beyond the legal limit while we (or some ) were trying to eat in the dark :))) And for ALL that "wonderful" food we waited almost 2hrs!! Whatta nightmare !!! They can not decide between "fast food" restaurant or nightclub! One word : horrible !

They get a 2-star rating because we were a group. There were three of us, and we ordered food at this cozy restaurant. We ordered entrecôte, risotto, and a hamburger. I ordered rosé wine, which was served at room temperature/lukewarm. Then we sat and waited for over an hour for these dishes to arrive. The hamburger was okay, but the fries were burnt. The entrecôte was all sinew and fat, with a sauce that had formed a skin on top—and of course, burnt fries. Old oil maybe??? My risotto wasn’t a risotto. It was a tasteless rice porridge with three half-old, stale gambas shrimp. Despite hunger being the best seasoning, this was completely inedible. I think you need a better chef, better ingredients, and fresher recipes. Stop serving risotto if you don’t know how to cook it. Go somewhere else…

The airport's proximity to stunning beaches and its accessibility to neighboring countries make it an ideal starting point for sun-worshippers and backpackers alike.
I’m reviewing here terminal2 departure and duty free. I think it’s a very good, quite and organized airport in comparison to lot of small airports. The duty free is over priced but it has a good variety of food and products. The staff at the security are very polite but unlike many airports in Europe, they still have issues with water bottles a d liquids on flights. Seats are comfortable and toilets are everywhere with a place to fill the water.
Phanendra D — Google review
The airport is rather small and there sent many shops the security check in wasn’t too manic but the staff would make you remove your liquids at the conveyor belt rather than warning you before hand to have them ready in the clear bag so I was slightly confused and overwhelmed by the whole experience. The best convenience is that the metro is just outside and quite cheap and easy to navigate !!

Amazing airport, it’s vary big. Great organisation and many gates. Many shops and restaurants in T1 and T2 both. I love the app of the airport, it’s really helpful! Amazing!

A fairly small airport with convenient access between Terminals 1 and 2 via a tram. It’s also easy to reach the city from here. Just make sure to purchase a valid ticket before boarding, as fines for fare evasion can be quite steep.

🌞 Exploring the Best of Nice, Côte d’Azur 🇫🇷 What an incredible stop along the French Riviera! From the sun-drenched Promenade des Anglais to the vibrant old town and stunning sea views, Nice is a must-see. We walked nearly 23,000 steps discovering every corner—day and night—and the energy, beauty, and charm never let up. ✨ If you're thinking about the Côte d’Azur, Nice should be at the top of your list. Great food, gorgeous views, and a perfect mix of beach life and city vibe. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend

Goid public transport to the airport. T2 was crowded and disorganised. Allow time to find where you are going and at check-in. Once you are through security its a little calmer before you get to gate. Queues to board are long and slow and once again crowded. Airport appeared clean.
Stuart T — Google review
Large, modern airport. Terminal 2 specific- plenty of shops and restaurants air side and a lot of seating. Large duty free, prices didn’t seem much cheaper than home (UK).

Nice, France, is a fantastic destination with a lot to offer. If I were to say something good about it, I'd highlight several key aspects: First and foremost, its stunning natural beauty and prime location on the French Riviera are undeniable. The deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea contrasting with the colorful buildings and the gentle curve of the Baie des Anges is truly picturesque. The famous Promenade des Anglais is perfect for a stroll, run, or bike ride, offering constant sea views. Its proximity to other gems of the Riviera like Cannes, Monaco, and charming hilltop villages makes it an excellent base for exploring the region. Secondly, Nice boasts a unique blend of French and Italian influences, which you can see in its architecture, cuisine, and even the local dialect. This gives the city a distinct character that sets it apart from other French cities. The Old Town (Vieux Nice) is a particular highlight, with its narrow, winding streets, vibrant markets (like Cours Saleya), and lively atmosphere. It's a joy to get lost in its alleys, discovering hidden squares and local shops. Then there's the incredible climate. With abundant sunshine and mild temperatures for most of the year, it's a pleasant place to visit almost any time. This allows for a relaxed, outdoor-oriented lifestyle, whether it's dining al fresco, enjoying the beaches, or simply people-watching from a café terrace. Finally, Nice offers a rich cultural experience. It has a number of excellent museums, including those dedicated to Matisse and Chagall, reflecting its history as a magnet for artists. The food scene is also fantastic, with delicious Niçoise specialties like socca, salade niçoise, and fresh seafood, all best enjoyed with a glass of local Provençal wine. In short, Nice is a captivating city that combines natural beauty, a vibrant culture, delicious food, and a relaxed Mediterranean charm, making it a truly wonderful place to experience. Nice, France, often nicknamed "Nice la Belle" (Nice the Beautiful), is truly a jewel of the French Riviera, and there's so much to say about it! Here are some key aspects that make it a fantastic destination: * Stunning Natural Beauty: The city is incredibly picturesque, with the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea stretching out before you, framed by the iconic Promenade des Anglais. The light here is often magical, inspiring artists for centuries. You can also get incredible panoramic views from Colline du Château (Castle Hill). * Charming Old Town (Vieux Nice): This is the heart and soul of Nice. A maze of narrow, winding cobblestone streets, vibrant with colorful buildings, bustling markets (like Cours Saleya), charming cafes, and hidden squares. It's a joy to get lost in and discover its unique character. * Rich Culture and History: Nice has a fascinating past, influenced by both France and Italy. You can see this in its architecture, from elegant Belle Époque buildings to Baroque churches. The city boasts excellent museums, including those dedicated to famous artists like Matisse and Chagall, who were drawn to the region's light and beauty. It's also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique history as a "Winter Resort Town of the Riviera." * Exceptional Climate: Nice enjoys a mild, sunny Mediterranean climate for most of the year, making it an attractive destination even in the cooler months. This allows for plenty of outdoor activities and a relaxed, al fresco lifestyle. * Delicious Gastronomy: The food scene in Nice is a delightful blend of Provençal and Italian influences. You absolutely must try local specialties like socca (a chickpea pancake), salade niçoise, and fresh seafood. The markets are a feast for the senses, offering fresh produce and local delicacies. * Vibrant Atmosphere: Nice is a lively city with a cosmopolitan feel, yet it maintains a relaxed, holiday vibe. There's always something happening, whether it's people enjoying a leisurely meal, strolling along the promenade, or enjoying the vibrant nightlife. * Gateway to the French Riviera: Its prime location.

Parc Phœnix, located in Nice, France, is a stunning botanical garden and zoo that boasts a massive tropical glasshouse, aviaries, and habitats for various animals like otters and wallabies. The park features an expansive indoor arboretum filled with exotic orchids, wild palms, diverse habitats, and surprising species of flora and fauna. Visitors can make use of the botanical audio guide e-beacon through a free app available for download at the entrance's free wifi zone.
Very interesting place, specially for kids which can explore several species both plants and animals. It has available spaces for picnics and games for children...during summer might be a bit very hot to visit ( although has a lake, high trees almost forest like) but still a good option, particularly if you want to spend few hours before or after reaching the nice airport which is just 5 min away by tram.

It was a very nice place to relax, conveniently close to the airport, which made it perfect for us to stop by since we arrived earlier than our apartment check-in time. The staff were friendly, and the plants and park area created a pleasant atmosphere to sit and have something to eat. On the other hand, there aren’t many things to see, and I found it a bit strange to notice rats roaming around. With some improvements, the place could be even better.

Phoenix Park is a wonderful park where families love to meet to explore the many rare species of animals and plants that amaze children and their parents. The place is beautiful and has a dining area that offers various types, the entrance ticket is cheap, the organization is excellent

A fun mix of zoo and park – great for families Parc Phoenix is a lovely place to spend a few hours, especially if you’re visiting with kids. It’s a mix between a park and a small zoo, with a good variety of animals including ostriches, peacocks, ducks, and wallabies. There’s also a playground for children and even a climbing wall, which adds a bit of extra fun. We appreciated the snack shack for quick bites, and the location is very convenient—right next to the airport. The entry price was very fair for what you get. When we visited, it was quite hot, so exploring for long periods was a bit challenging, but overall, it’s a nice, family-friendly spot with plenty to see and do.

Parc Phoenix in Nice is truly one of the best destinations for a fun and educational family outing. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, the park offers a wonderful blend of indoor and outdoor experiences that appeal to both kids and adults. With lush botanical gardens, exotic plants, and a variety of animals including flamingos, turtles, and wallabies, there’s plenty to explore and enjoy. Children will especially love the interactive zones and wide open spaces to run and play, while parents can relax in the beautiful picnic areas under the open sky. The park is well-maintained, clean, and safe, making it ideal for a full-day visit. It’s a perfect mix of nature and leisure where families can bond while learning about biodiversity. What makes it even more appealing is how affordable it is. Entry is pocket-friendly, and for residents of Nice, it’s completely free during the first weekend of each month—a great initiative that encourages community engagement and regular visits. The park is easy to reach, close to the airport, and also has indoor areas, making it a suitable destination year-round. Overall, Parc Phoenix is a hidden gem in Nice, perfect for nature lovers and families seeking a relaxing and enriching day out. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with kids or simply a charming day in nature.

It is worth visiting parc Phoenix. The park has great collection of plants from different parts of world. Plants are very healthy. It has some birds and animals too. I will highly recommend this wonderful place if you are visiting Nice.

Very uncomfortable experience. Pros: remarkable variety of species, generally well organized layout, and a very very reasonable price (€5,50 a person) Cons: horribly taken care of and downright gross in spots, also numerous huge rats. This feels like a place that was originally fantastic that has come on hard times within the last 5 ish years and hasn’t recovered. Barely any workers the entire time we were there. Some cages feel well made but plenty feel cobbled together with what they had on hand. Animals feel very poorly taken care of and lethargic, the unmoving goats with the unkempt, matted fur were particularly hard to see. The insect exhibit was genuinely disgusting; several vents had thick coats of dust and dried foliage and the terrariums looked like they had just been given food for years without ever being properly cleaned or replaced. Also just had several insect carcasses thrown in, awful. There’s plenty of other glaring issues but the worst was the rats. Holy hell were there so many, at first I thought they may have been a part of the exhibit and then I saw multiple skitter around the walkways and sneak in through various fences to get some of the birds food. Not to mention the walkways were so overgrown, there were times where we were unsure we were on the right path. Maybe charge a bit more and use the money to get this place back in order, just an idea. Stay away until they get things in order.

Animals are treated well in this park and it really shows. Flamingos are really cool 🩷🦩 and the tortoises are huge if you do have 3 hrs of spare time before your flight Nice you should really check it out. And they serve pretty good breakfast options as pantries better than the airport food I promise.

I jumped, and my husband, who was following me, heard the lifeguard say to his colleague, "She was a trans person!" A completely humiliating remark due to his mocking tone, even though it wasn't meant to be said. We were having a good time up until then, but I felt really bad and humiliated, so we left the area after 20 minutes. There is a sheltered area for parents with plastic armchairs and a refreshment bar. (Translated by Google) I love this little trattoria, it was the nice baker across the street who advised me to go and have my coffee here, at the time of covid, standing coffee etc etc. Since then I have been going back there regularly for coffee, I also had the opportunity to eat there at midday, nothing to say, it's just fantastic, for the worker who has little time for lunch at a reasonable price. Beach Club is an upscale beachfront venue offering a lounge-style atmosphere, grilled seafood, and signature cocktails. Visitors can enjoy the vibrant music and delicious Mojitos while watching the sunset. The welcoming staff provides excellent service and engages with guests in various languages. The diverse menu features well-prepared Asian and Italian cuisine, with generous portions that offer value for money.
I loved this place! From the moment I walked in, I was able to take off my shoes since they are literally at the shore of the beach! The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing! The frozen pina coladas were my favorite touch. And the views from our dinner table were as good.

Perfect Beach Day with Great Vibes & Food! We spent a fantastic day lounging at Beach Club Port de Saint Louise—the relaxing music, perfect weather, and delicious cocktails made it pure bliss! Though we missed the lunch menu timing, the snacking menu surprised us with generous portions that easily doubled as a full meal. The Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful, and the fritto misto (grilled squid) was absolutely delicious. Service was welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was chic yet laid-back. Highly recommend for a beachside escape!

We just had a bottle of wine (rose) but the atmosphere was really nice. Attentive staff who were friendly, but overpriced for what it was. The ambience was lovely & we enjoyed the DJ
Ella M — Google review
The beach club itself is very cozy and tropically decorated so you'll immediately feel like being on vacation. On the weekends it can become very crowded and noisy though. The prices are quite high and sometimes we had to wait quite long for the waiters to arrive. I ordered two frozen drinks but after 20min. of waiting, they weren't frozen anymore... All in all a solid beach club with a really nice vibe but I'd expect better, faster service for how expensive it is.
Anna O — Google review
A great food experience. The service is fantastic and the food is delicious. You feel satisfied after the meal. Portions are big and well presented. Prices are higher than other restaurants in the area but not expensive for what you get. You get a value for you money in service and quality. A place to visit when your are around the area.
Karim D — Google review
The club closed earlier (because of a party) but we paid the full price. (50€ for 2 person/bed without towels) 1 hour before the club closed, we was not allowed to order a snack to eat. On the beach we ordered 2 cocktails and we was waiting more than half an hour. The service man forgot the order and we must ordered new. Very bad.
Selina M — Google review
Wondering why someone would give this place a bad review. Not saying this place has the best food in the area, but for it’s good ambience, drinks and pretty good food, especially the seafood salad, they make a good water front dining experience.

Very nice place but also very pricey, expect to spend an organ there but you'll have a good time. Edit, if you don't eat fish, your options gonna be very very limited, also the snack options on the waterfront are a bit disappointing

Canas y tapas - CAP3000 is a restaurant located on the main road near the beach, offering a mesmerizing view from its open terrace. Visitors have praised the quality and presentation of the food, describing it as delicious and satisfying. The portions are generous, providing good value for money. The atmosphere is described as super with fast and friendly service. Dishes like croquetas and patatas bravas have been highlighted for their delicious taste.
Stunning tapas (better than most I've had in Spain)! Great views from the terrace.

I tried this place with 0 hopes that would taste nothing like real Spanish food and actually it does! 😋 the croquetas were delicious, special place in my heart for those rabo de toro ones. I ordered 2 tapas for myself and I was so fulfilled (I almost don't finish them); therefore the quantities are way better than in most places where you starve and pay the same amount. The view is just incredible, and the service is okey. Recommended place. Ps: A Spanish girl.

Day 3

Proximity is everything
For day 3, we bundled attractions like Basilique Notre-Dame de l’Assomption and Vieux village de Saint-Laurent-du-Var and other places within a close range, so that the time it takes to travel between all of them is less than one hour. Combined with the average time people spend there, your day should take about 5 hours.

Basilique Notre-Dame de l’Assomption, also known as Notre Dame de Nice, is a grand neo-Gothic church with imposing twin towers and vibrant stained glass. Located at the end of Saint-Jean-Medecin, it resembles a white-washed version of the famous Notre Dame in Paris. Despite its striking similarity to the Parisian landmark, this basilica was actually modeled after a monastery in Angers, France.
I stopped by the Basilique Notre-Dame de l’Assomption while walking through Nice—beautiful spot. The peaceful atmosphere inside really stood out, a quiet break from the busy city. Worth a quick visit.
Kungfu-pigeon — Google review
I visited the Basilique Notre-Dame de Nice and was captivated by its neo-Gothic architecture. The twin towers and the large rose window depicting the Assumption of Mary are particularly striking. Inside, the serene atmosphere and beautiful stained glass windows provided a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. It’s a remarkable landmark that showcases the rich history and architectural beauty of Nice.
Can M — Google review
The light show at the Basilique Notre-Dame de l'Assomption was absolutely spectacular. The interior lighting was breathtaking and enhanced the spiritual atmosphere beautifully. The combination of music and visual effects highlighted the basilica’s undeniable beauty, making it a truly memorable experience. The only drawback is that the entire narrative is presented in French, so for non-French speakers, it’s more of a visual and musical treat rather than a fully immersive storytelling experience. Still, the artistry and ambiance make it well worth attending.
Pratik S — Google review
This is variously called the Nice Cathedral / Basilica / Notre-Dame of Nice amongst other by locals and tourists alike. It's a nice neo-Gothic styled church near to Gare Thiers. It was purposefully built by the French after they acquired Nice from the Kingdom of Sardinia.
Debajyoti A — Google review
The Basilique Notre-Dame de l'Assomption was absolutely spectacular. The interior lighting was stunning and really added to the spiritual atmosphere. However, we visited in June, and it was incredibly hot—around 100°F (38°C). There were about 150 people inside, and with no air conditioning, it felt like a sauna or even a barbecue. At one point, I genuinely thought someone might pass out from the heat. The beauty of the basilica is undeniable, but they really need to install some form of climate control. It’s hard to appreciate such a magnificent place when you're drenched in sweat.
Noe C — Google review
Beautiful and peaceful cathedral. Definitely recommend a visit to take in the history and beauty of this amazing place.
Brett L — Google review
Standing tall at the end of the street in the center of town is this impressive Basilica. Impressive high domed ceilings and a beautiful place to get lost in your thoughts and stop and reflect. I always at these beautiful churches and the money and time that goes into building and then maintain them. Another stunning European Basilica to cross off our bucket list. The stained glass windows are beautiful when the sun shines through.

Art Museums
Musée Renoir, located in Cagnes-sur-Mer, was the home of the renowned Impressionist master Auguste Renoir until his passing in 1919. This Neo-Provencal house offers a glimpse into the artist's final years, featuring his drawing room, bedroom, and atelier complete with easel and brushes. The museum also showcases several of Renoir's works and provides insight into his life and family.
Very interesting museum. It was amazing to see the house where Renoir spent the last years of his life. We also liked to get to know a little more about his closest family. The garden with its enormous olive trees was fantastic 🤩 Be aware that it's closed on Tuesdays.
Anni L — Google review
Biked here from camping val de fleurie. Not too bad of a cycle a couple of steep hills. The last one which leads to Renoir's house, we had to get off the bikes. Small museum actually free on the last sunday of the month, rather that €6 each which was great. A shame not many of Renoirs painting here but the information which was given in English also was good. Learnt a little about his life which i did not already know.
Sarah H — Google review
Wonderful house and gardens. The most beauty here is outside of the house. The atmosphere and gardens and little farm house are so inspirational. Interiour is not what I would expect as its more of a collection of various collectors objects and museums, but still very worth the visit.
Andrea B — Google review
The views from upstairs are gorgeous and expansive. The home/museum shut down between 1-2 which we were unaware of before we arrived so we needed to rush just a slight bit, but the grounds remain open during that time frame so we were still able to appreciate the exterior and the grounds after we finished the house tour and the basement area. The presentation of artwork is done in a way that I appreciate and the grounds were well maintained. Parking is a small lot but it was easy to get into and out of. The staff in the entry building friendly and helpful. I'm very glad we went and took our 12 year old to share in this experience.
Ashlee M — Google review
I love to come here everytime I'm in Cagnes. The museum is well structured and guides the visitors in Renoir's life with plentiful of details. The collection is rich - not only Renoir's paintings, but also some from other minor Impressionist painters. The view and the garden is lovely.
L B — Google review
Wonderful former home of Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919). The museum contains sculptures and paintings by Renoir. As well as a big farm house with various trees and flowers including lemon and olive trees. I feel the quietness and inspiration that Renoir had at this place. I fell in love with the house and property of 1900s. The house full of memories and art. Don’t miss this amazing museum.
Ahlam A — Google review
Visiting the Renoir Museum in Cagnes-sur-Mer was an unforgettable experience—deeply atmospheric, intimate, and steeped in both artistic heritage and natural beauty. Nestled among centuries-old olive trees, the museum is set in the heart of the Domaine des Collettes, where Pierre-Auguste Renoir chose to settle in the final years of his life. It was during a journey to Italy that Renoir first passed through this part of the French Riviera, and he was so captivated by the luminosity, landscape, and serenity of the area that he returned and made it his home. The views across the hills to the medieval village of Haut-de-Cagnes are just as breathtaking today as they must have been in Renoir’s time. There are 15 paintings by Renoir on display here, as well as 40 sculptures. Highlights include Les grandes baigneuses, Coco reading, La Ferme and La vallée de la Cagne; and elegant portraits from Les Caryatides to Madame Pichon, each reflecting the artist’s mastery of light and form. Stepping into the villa is like entering Renoir’s world. The kitchen, tiled bathroom, and sunlit rooms remain much as they were, while his easel, brushes, and armchair make his presence almost tangible. This was also a place of lively exchange, welcoming Henri Matisse, Claude Monet, Auguste Rodin, Amedeo Modigliani, and Pablo Picasso. Outside, olive trees cast their shade and birdsong drifts through the stillness. Even on my overcast visit, the beauty was unmistakable—but I long to return on a sunny day, to see the gardens bathed in the dappled light Renoir loved to paint.
Louise W — Google review
There aren't many paintings on display—the main draw is really the opportunity to see where Renoir lived and to soak in the ambiance of the property. I found the garden leading to La Ferme especially tranquil and pretty.

The sushi was not of the first class. The tuna rubbery and poor quality and cut. However the starters are very good, loved the gyoza and the teriyaki chicken. Service pleasant but patchy, they cleared the table yet we were still waiting an item. I think a quick lunch focussed on extras and not on the sushi would be fun.

Pizza delivery
Italian restaurant
Little Italy Pizza is a delightful gem that may surprise you with its cozy size. Upon arrival, the owner promptly arranged a table, showcasing their commitment to excellent service. The menu features an array of delicious options; I indulged in a large pizza and a fresh salad, both of which were outstanding. My family raved about the pizza, declaring it the best they’ve ever had! The dough is expertly crafted—thin and crispy—making each bite truly enjoyable.
Real Italian pizza ♥️ The dough is perfect, thin, crispy. It's been a long time since I've had such a wonderful pizza.

Horrible experience, ordered a Pizza at 2am through uber eats (which is obviously late so we were surprised any place was open at all) then at 4am the delivery person was still waiting at the restaurant to pick up ONE pizza. To cancel the order we had to pay 14 euros. How busy could they have been at 2am to take 2 hours to prepare a pizza?? Some waiting time is obviously expected and normal, but on the app the expected delivery time kept getting delayed and it obviously wasnt the delivery guys fault. On google maps the restaurant resulted closed. I honestly wonder what could possibly have been the reason for such a delay.

We ordered a big pizza and a salad. Both are excellent. My kids and my husband both said this is the best pizza ever. We are going to order another one tomorrow before we leave Nice.

Food arrived cold. Late and tasteless. Staff behind the phone were very rude. Do not recommend

Piza was just a piece of white bread, tomatoe ketchup and salami, taste was not the best. Maybe some of you find it tastefull but this place and these type of pizzas wasn't for me.

Went for the Spesial pizza. A little pricy, but probably the best pizza in town. Super fast delivery

Very good pizza! We thought Littly Italy was a small restaurant. When we told the owner he quickly organised a table and voila it was a tiny restaurant. That’s the kind of service we love. Try it!
